Hello, I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.
BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Hi there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson, coming to you tonight from Hollywood. And tonight, the explosive brand-new outrage over Hulk Hogan`s O.J. Simpson remarks including a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive.
HAMMER: Hulk Hogan today continued to dig himself even deeper in after what he said in an interview with "Rolling Stone" magazine. The wrestling and reality show star compares his rage over his bitter divorce battle with Linda with the Simpson murder case.
And now, tonight, Hulk is trying to backtrack on the viral remarks that he made, saying they were all taken out of context. But Hulk`s ex- wife Linda is just furious over the comment. And today, she told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that she now fears for her life.
And tonight, in a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive, Kim Goldman is here. Kim, of course, is the sister of Ron Goldman who was killed alongside O.J.`s wife, Nicole. Kim, I do I really appreciate you being here with us tonight.
I want to take a look now at what Hulk Hogan did say in that "Rolling Stone" interview when he was talking about 48-year-old Linda and her teenage boyfriend. These are Hulk Hogan`s words, quote, "I could have turned everything into a crime scene like O.J., cutting everybody`s throat. You see a 19-year-old boy driving your Escalade and you know that a 19- year-old boy is sleeping in your bed with your wife. I mean, I totally understand O.J. I get it."
Kim, I`ve got to ask you, when you first heard what Hulk Hogan said, I`m guessing you were just outraged, weren`t you?
KIM GOLDMAN, SISTER OF RON GOLDMAN: I was and I was immediately reminded that those were words that the killer used many, many years ago before he killed Ron and Nicole. And to hear the same level of anger Hulk Hogan expressed - this was very reminiscent of what we heard in all of the, you know, interviews and stuff with the killer and the 911 tapes of Nicole. I mean, it`s all leading up to those murders.
HAMMER: And now that everybody is talking about it and the outrage is flying around, Hulk Hogan said he`s just being misunderstood here. I`m having a hard time wrapping my head around it.
He and his attorney are now basically responding to the outrage that`s really been growing since these comments were first made public. And they tell TMZ that they were taken out of context. Watch what Hulk is saying about all this.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The problem is "Page Six" included one sentence of a multi-page interview. All that was said was by example how he didn`t behave like O.J. And "Page Xix," of course, posted as though he`s comparing himself to O.J.
HULK HOGAN, PROFESSIONAL WRESTLER AND REALITY TV STAR: I spent three days with the wrier from "Rolling Stone" talking about being positive and happy and walking in the spirit of Christ. And he asked me, "Why didn`t you flip out?" Well, I didn`t jump off the Empire State Building. I didn`t buy a white Bronco. I didn`t do the O.J. Simpson thing. I took the high road." So I guess that`s a teaser to sell magazines.

HAMMER: All right. Right there, he`s saying I didn`t do the O.J. Simpson thing, Hulk saying his comments were taken out of context. The idea that he understands that what O.J. might have been thinking - Kim, do you buy this defense at all?
GOLDMAN: You know, listen, we`ve all said some stupid things in our life. But also think that when you are a public figure, you should know better and that you don`t accidentally say something as violent and as vile as he did if it`s not buried in your brain somewhere.
And even in his comments to sort of cover up what he said, he still refers to the killer again. He still makes a comment about throwing some guy into the ring. I think it was probably in reference to his ex-wife`s boyfriend. I mean, there`s still violent tendencies that are attached to it. And it`s very sad. It`s a sad state of affairs that we`re that glib about taking somebody else`s life or about a violent reaction to a marital problem.
HAMMER: Yes. I mean, it raises a lot of questions, raising eyebrows all across the country. Kim, I want you to stay with us because joining me right now in New York is Cooper Lawrence. Cooper is a psychologist and author of "The Cult of Celebrity." Also, in New York tonight, the lovely Jane Velez-Mitchell, host of "ISSUES WITH JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL." I want to start with you, Jane. You covered the O.J. Simpson trial. You were right there when all of it was going on. Does Kim and everyone else truly have the right to be outraged at Hulk Hogan suggesting that he understands the rage O.J. might have felt?
JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL, HOST, "ISSUES WITH JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL": The family of Ron Goldman, who was murdered, has a right to be outraged, disgusted, repulsed, just like the rest of us are. This is horrific. And what boggles my mind is he doesn`t even apologize. He spins it and says, "I should be complimented for taking the high road for saying I didn`t pull an O.J."
This man is emotionally stunted. He is a 16-year-old boy trapped in a man`s body. And I believe he`s a rage-aholic and I think he really needs to get help. He revealed himself in that interview, and what he revealed was really disgusting, pathetic, callous, thoughtless. He needs to take that little headband of his and crawl under a rock and disappear.
HAMMER: And I think with his excuses that he was trying to fly in that TMZ clip, I think it just shows that there`s a real disconnect going on there. Now, understandably, Linda Hogan is now saying she fears for her life since she heard those comments that Hulk made about her.
Well, this afternoon, in a brand-new statement to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, here`s what Linda is saying, quote, "Hulk thinks he can do whatever he wants, to whomever he wants, whenever he wants. He is your classic narcissist who demands total control and will go to any extent necessary to get it. His violent and scary mood swings have been my nightmare for too many years. I hope for the sake of our kids that he gets the psychological help for himself and the safety of others."
Cooper Lawrence, off to you. What do you think, should Linda Hogan be worried?
COOPER LAWRENCE, PSYCHOLOGIST: She should be very worried. And let me just say you don`t get credit for not killing somebody. So his comments are just bizarre and they`re not taken out of context. I read the article. They`re in context and they`re frightening.
And Linda should be concerned, because we do see a pattern with people who do kill their spouses. And we do see pattern behavior and we do see aggressive tendencies. And this is not simple "`roid" rage. This is somebody who has very serious aggression and maybe the steroids have brought it out. Maybe years of being a narcissist have brought it out.
But we definitely have seen a lot of impulsive behavior on his part that hopefully, one day, will not be the ultimate. But remember, he gave his gun to his lawyer. So clearly, on some level, he feels that he cannot be left alone in the house with a gun.
HAMMER: Well, Kim Goldman, you`ve been very productive. You`ve done a lot of good since the murder of your brother, being an outspoken advocate on behalf of crime victims. What would you say to Linda Hogan right now given all we know?
GOLDMAN: Well, I think that she`s doing what she`s supposed to be doing, which is taking, you know, the right steps, the legal steps to make sure that she`s safe and protected.
And you know, you don`t accidentally make comments, like I said, unless it`s buried in your brain somewhere. And hearing him speak about justifying his behavior because of what he saw with his ex-wife is very reminiscent to what we heard.
And I hope this is a reminder of all women that are trapped in relationships or bad marriages or men that might be abusive or whatever, to take notice and if you have a fear that you should react appropriately and take the law into your own hands, not your own violent tendencies.
HAMMER: Yes. Hopefully people really paying attention and getting the help that they need if they`re in this kind of situation.
GOLDMAN: Yes, very sad.
HAMMER: As I`ve said, everybody is talking about this. The ladies of "The View" got into a heated debate today about Hulk`s comments. Now, some of the ladies defended Hulk saying they kind of get where they`re coming from. Barbara Walters, however, plugged right into the outrage that we`re talking about right now. I want you to watch what was said.

WALTERS: We understand, and he has since apologized. But what upsets everybody is violence.
SHEPHERD: Anybody who has dealt with that, you know that there`s a little second. There is a feeling that comes up in your stomach.

WHOOPI GOLDBERG, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": Sometimes it lasts for a couple of years.

HAMMER: All right. I certainly get what Sherri and Whoopi are saying there. But Jane, let`s remember Hulk did say on top of everything, "I mean, I totally understand O.J. I get it." To me, that doesn`t come across flip at all, regardless of whether or not what he said was literal.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: This guy is - he epitomizes the worst of our culture, which is a glorification of violence. And this is in a sense professional defamation. Because what did he do for a living? He was a pro-wrestler who slammed people to the ground.
So he`s used to getting applause and getting credit for being violent. So his first reaction is violent. And we have to look in the mirror and ask ourselves as a society, why is this guy a star? Why are we caring and giving this guy attention at all?
And why are we so enthralled by violence, whether it`s in a wrestling ring or on television or in the movies? We have to look at - if we want a peaceful society, we have to be peaceful. And the first thing we can do to be peaceful is reject knuckleheads like this guy, Hulk Hogan.
HAMMER: Well, I`ve got to tell you, I think obviously a lot of healing needs to start now as far as all this is concerned. Hulk perhaps needs to get help and certainly come forward with a sincere mea culpa of an apology.

Candy says because of her rift with her daughter, she`s telling Tori`s childhood home and moving out. Asking price for the Spelling Manor? A whopping $150 million.
Now thanks to our friends at "LARRY KING LIVE" and comedian Chelsea Handler, we`re getting an inside look at the mansion that is so amazing you would have to see it to believe.

HANDLER: Yes, you love to collect things, right?
C. SPELLING: I do.

C. SPELLING: I collect dolls. I collect ball clocks. The arcade room.
HANDLER: There`s a Ms. Pac Man machine. You guys aren`t going to see me for a couple of hours. That`s my favorite game in the universe.
C. SPELLING: I had this made for my husband.
HANDLER: OK. Oh, that`s sweet.
C. SPELLING: This is like his life - this one here.
HANDLER: That`s Randy, Tori and you and your husband. And that`s the house.
C. SPELLING: That`s the house.
HANDLER: Look, the manor.
C. SPELLING: This is the bowling alley.
HANDLER: Oh, bowling. Oh, my gosh. Camera back to me, please. Thank you. What did I tell you? That was a home run, everybody. This is the very infamous gift-wrapping room. Oh, my goodness. Do you actually wrap the gifts yourself?
C. SPELLING: Oh, yes. I love it.
HANDLER: That`s the one thing you do?
C. SPELLING: Yes.
HANDLER: Wow. That`s amazing. You really like gift-wrapping because that`s the one thing I don`t do. OK. Come on, Madison. Is this a coy pond?
C. SPELLING: No, this is a lily pond. The coy pond is over a little further.
HANDLER: So let`s take a look at the coy pond. Oh, look at the beautiful fish. See, that`s the kind of fish that I`m looking to get. I love those big fish. Did Aaron at any point ever say, "Maybe let`s not get too carried away?"
C. SPELLING: Yes, he saw the budget for the house. Everything you`re doing, this is what we`re spending and that`s it.
HANDLER: And this is actually the only house in the United States that`s bigger than the White House, right?
C. SPELLING: Yes.
HANDLER: And then, here we are, back at the driveway, which leads back up to our humble abode, everybody. Oh, you can`t get in. You`re locked out. Oh, look at this. Candy Spelling is locked out of her own house.
C. SPELLING: I am. They won`t let me in.

ANDERSON: I`m sure she was able to get back in. And you know, despite Candy`s claims that Tori doesn`t want her in her life, Tori says her mom is welcome to have a relationship with her Tori`s two kids. I certainly hope they work that out.
HAMMER: I love that she collects candy dishes. That`s funny to me.
ANDERSON: Yes. Me, too.
HAMMER: All right, Brooke. Let`s move on to the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines. They keep cranking, a lot of people calling in about the whole Jamie Foxx-Miley Cyrus controversy. Foxx went on a crude rant making fun of Miley, even suggesting she should make a sex tape.
And I`ve got to tell you, even our "Showbiz on Call" operators were outraged. Look at them. They`ve been working overtime to catch up on the amazing number of calls coming in.
ANDERSON: Yes. No kidding, A.J. We got a call in to "Showbiz on Call" from Robert in Missouri who says, don`t be so hard on Jamie. He`s just a comedian.

CALLER: I think what Jamie Foxx did is no different than any of the other comedians that are out there. "Saturday Night Live" and other comedians that made fun of Britney Spears and other people many times and said mean things, said much worse that what he has said. And they did those while they are minors. So if you`re going to make Miley Cyrus off-limits, everyone should be off-limits.

And I`m sick of these people saying, "Well, I`m a comic. I can do what I want. It`s a free country." No, be a gentleman. It`s not funny. It`s just disgusting and he should know better.

The Oxygen Network says the show will explore what it`s like being young, rich, single and cohabitating. An air date hasn`t been set yet.

Joining me tonight in New York, Cooper Lawrence who is a psychologist and author of this book, "The Cult of Celebrity." And with me tonight from Hollywood, Leslie Marshall, the host of the syndicated radio show, "The Leslie Marshall Show."
All right. So here`s what`s going on. The octomom has officially filed two applications with our federal government to trademark her name. Now, in her application she notes, and I love this, "It would be for dresses, pants, shirts and disposables and textile diapers as well as a TV variety program," by the way. Ridiculous as all of that sounds, Leslie, can you blame octomom for cashing in on the name that`s made her famous?
LESLIE MARSHALL, HOST, "THE LESLIE MARSHALL SHOW": Well, yes, I can, A.J. Because what about "I don`t want all this attention? Poor me, I just care about my babies." We`re talking big ka-ching here. We`re talking about bling-bling. And when she talks about all those shoes and pants and shirts she gets to mention, they`re for her. I told you, this girl`s playing us and now she`s playing our checkbooks.
HAMMER: Well, no. She has an excuse for this because, obviously, we know in the past she said, "Don`t call me octomom, I don`t want all the attention." But today, perhaps in need of a little attention, octomom spoke with "Radar Online" about how she feels about being called octomom and why she decided to trademark her name. Let`s watch that.

NADYA SULEMAN, OCTUPLET MOTHER: I never invented that name. I don`t know if everyone else did. But people choose who you are going to be. You know, I was thrust into all this without my awareness and without my willingness. And now I feel almost like I have no choice but to do what I can to support the kids.

HAMMER: Yes. She thinks she has no choice. Now, Cooper, what do you think here? If a line of octodiapers and clothing comes out, number one, are people going to buy it? Number two, can we sign you up?
LAWRENCE: Oh, yes. Well, you know, I heard that the diapers are going to be sold in a pack of 14. You know, you can only afford one.
HAMMER: Yes. OK. That`s perfect. Perfect.
(CROSS TALK)
LAWRENCE: No, I`ve got to say something. No, of course, they`re not. You know what? If you`re the kind of person that`s going to buy this, you deserve what you get. You deserve an image of somebody that doesn`t know anything about taking care of children, that has no respect for children, that wants to exploit your children. So if you`re that kind of person, this is the line of clothing and diapers for you.
HAMMER: Well, I`ve got to tell you, this is not a done deal yet. Suleman has some competition and, you know, they say don`t mess with Texas. There`s a Texas company that has already filed a trademark application for the name. They did it a month before she did because they want to use the name for their iPhone game.
Now, I got to read to you how they describe this game. This is fantastic. Here`s what you do, "You press down on octomom`s swollen belly and another adorable bundle of joy will be brought into the world." But wait, there`s more, "Each baby earns welfare money. Having babies while the paparazzi is in the room earns a cash bonus. Money of course is used to buy more fertility shots. Fertility shots let octomom have more babies."
You know, I`m just wondering what the sound effects are going to be like for this particular game. Leslie Marshall, in all seriousness, if that`s possible here, is this just plain out of line to have a game like this?
MARSHALL: Oh, you know, it should be. But I have to admit I would look at it, and I probably would push the belly a couple of times. And I know the injections would hurt a lot less than when I was injecting myself with my I.V.F.
You know, it seems that it would be out of line. But A.J., I mean, seriously, the culture we`re living in - it`s a bad economy. If people can make a buck ...
HAMMER: Yes.
MARSHALL: And you know what? She brought this on herself. I`m thinking maybe dead beat dad diaper Jeannie(ph) might be next.
HAMMER: 99 cents for an apple like that, I`m thinking how do I avoid it. That`s all. Now, Cooper, what do you think, though? What we hear Leslie saying bad economy. People should be able to do this. Is there anything wrong regardless of how they do with others trying to cash in on octomom or even this kind of video game?
LAWRENCE: Oh, I`m with Leslie. I think if you can exploit octomom like she is exploiting herself and her children, I mean, go for it. Why should she be the only one making money off of this whole adventure that she`s on? I mean, believe that she had those children just to be famous and just for these conversations. And here we are.
HAMMER: And here we are indeed. But you know what? She needs the money and she will keep crying that cry is what I think is going to continue to happen here. Leslie Marshall, Cooper Lawrence, I`ll buy you the game if it comes out. Thanks for being here tonight.
ANDERSON: Tonight, for the very first time, we are hearing from the woman whose story and voice have captured the world`s imagination.

Her name is Susan Boyle, a 47-year-old unmarried woman, who everyone, including Simon Cowell, seem to assume was nothing but a big loser. But boy has Boyle proved them wrong. Her knock-your-socks-off performance on the TV show "Britain`s Got Talent" has turned her into an overnight sensation.
And today, Susan Boyle wowed everybody again in amazing TV appearances as she told her equally amazing story. And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you it`s making big news right now.

BOYLE: I`m trying to be a professional singer.
ANDERSON: Heard her incredible singing voice and were blown away.

ANDERSON: Now, for the very first time, Boyle is talking directly to TV audiences in America.
BOYLE: Breathtaking. Unbelievable.
ANDERSON: On CBS` "The Early Show," she admitted she`s had professional vocal training and her smashing singing performance was in honor of her late mother.
BOYLE: I knew it was something I had to do. I had to go on with this. I think I got this dream from my mother.
SERAFIN: It`s such an inspirational story.
ANDERSON: "In Touch Weekly`s" Kim Serafin tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT why Boyle`s touching story seems to resonate with so many people.
SERAFIN: She said that she used kind of get made fun of when she was growing up in school. She`s someone who had a dream when she was younger, kind of put it aside to take care of her mother and then came to this competition.
ANDERSON: In fact, Boyle told "The Early Show" that the audience`s initial skepticism didn`t faze her much.
MAGGIE RODRIGUEZ, CO-HOST, "THE EARLY SHOW": How did you keep it together even though everyone was laughing at you and not really taking it seriously at first?
BOYLE: Well, you have to take yourself seriously. So what I did was concentrated on the song.

ANDERSON: And concentrate she did, bringing tears and cheers with the rendition of "I Dreamed a Dream" from the Broadway show, Les Miserables. And the praise continued on "The Early Show" when Boyle got a surprise call from the Broadway legend who first sang that song in 1985.
RODRIGUEZ: And Susan, joining us on the phone right now, we have Patty Lapone. Good morning, Patty.
PATTY LAPONE, ORIGINALLY SANG "I DREAMED A DREAM": Good morning.
RODRIGUEZ: Did you just hear that?
LAPONE: Yes, I cried. Susan, you got pluck, girl.
ANDERSON: Now, British bookmakers say Boyle is the best bet to win the "Britain`s Got Talent" competition.

ANDERSON: But it`s her personal victory that`s resonating throughout the whole world.
SERAFIN: It seems that she gives you some sort of hope that if you have a dream, things can still happen for you. It`s not too late. It`s never too late.

Tonight, Jamie Foxx has apologized for the vile comments he made about "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus. But her dad Billy Ray was clearly steamed. Wait until you hear what he said.
Plus, Donald Trump goes off on Rosie O`Donnell, again. It`s been years since the Donald attacked his favorite target. So why a brand-new Rosie rant now?
Joining me tonight, Ben Widdicombe who`s the celebrity editor for StyleList.com. Tonight, in Hollywood, Leslie Marshall, host of the "Leslie Marshall Show."
Ben, Leslie, jaws really did drop, mine included, over the vile things that Jamie Foxx said about 16-year-old Miley Cyrus on his Sirius Satellite radio show, including "Is she the one with all the gums? She has got to get a gum transplant. Make a sex tape and grow up. Get like Britney Spears and get some heroin. Do like Lindsay Lohan and get some crack in your pipe." Now look at what Miley`s dad, Billy Cyrus said today on "The Bonnie Hunt Show" in response to that.

BONNIE HUNT, HOST, "THE BONNIE HUNT SHOW": Everybody`s talking about Jamie Foxx making those comments where he`s making a joke. I didn`t hear it but.
BILLY CYRUS, FATHER OF MILEY CYRUS: I`ll just keep it real brief and just say this, that it was hurtful. There was nothing funny about it. And quite frankly, I think if I said those things about his daughter, he might not find it so comedic.

ANDERSON: I completely agree. Now, Jamie Foxx did later apologize. But Ben, is Billy Ray right to be angry here, that no matter how many times Foxx might apologize, this was just terrible.
BEN WIDDICOMBE, CELEBRITY EDITOR, "STYLELIST.COM": Oh, absolutely. You know, something tells me what he said on "Bonnie Hunt" was the sanitized version of what he`s really thinking.
ANDERSON: Probably.
WIDDICOMBE: Jamie`s remarks were repugnant, you know. And some people might say, well, Miley is taking on the job of being a pop culture phenomenon and she`s accepting the millions of dollars that go with it. So that makes her fair game, a bit of a target. But she`s only 16 years old. She`s a child star. And I don`t think it`s a enough for Jamie to say, "Well, I`m a comedian. I say these things." I think he crossed the line this time.
ANDERSON: Yes. And I can completely understand why Billy Ray was upset. He was defending his daughter. No parent would think this was funny - an attack on their child, unless that parent, you know, was not in their right mind.
But I do have to tell you that not everybody thinks that Foxx was out of line. In our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day, we asked on air and online - "Jamie Foxx Slams Miley Cyrus: Should making fun of the 16-year- old star be off limits? 47 percent said yes, but 53 percent said no. Leslie, are you surprised that so many people think Miley is fair game?
MARSHALL: I`m not surprised because she is in the public eye and she is a celebrity. However, I have to agree with Billy Ray on this. I mean if it were their daughter - I think Billy Ray would like to give Jamie Foxx more than an achy-breaky heart.
And I have to tell you, you know, to talk about - and Brooke, as a woman, you can appreciate this. We are trying to instill in girls to care more about their insides - their heart and their brain, not to get breast implants at 11. Not to care about, you know, their beauty.
It is so much pressure in Hollywood on people like Miley Cyrus for him to talk about gum jobs ...
ANDERSON: Yes.
MARSHALL: ... to talk about, you know, heroin and crack. It`s not that he picked on her. It`s the way he did it. He not only needs to pick on someone his own size, but his own age.
ANDERSON: Yes. And you`re right, the focus on the appearance, just reprehensible, really mean-spirited and terrible.
All right. we`re going to move right now to something else making big news. Donald Trump strikes again. Now, if you thought his bitter body 2007 battle with Rosie was over - wrong. On CNN`s "LARRY KING LIVE" last night, Donald said that Barbara Walters was always on his side, even though their friendship ended for a while over the whole ordeal. Take a look.

OK, Ben, why won`t The Donald just let this thing go?
WIDDICOMBE: Because this is another chance for Donald to talk about his favorite subject - himself. You know, I have this theory that the reason why his wife Melania looks so happy in their relationship is that she doesn`t understand English. Because this man spouts twaddle 24 hours a day.
And of course, he`s just saying it to get attention because he`s selling a new book. In my personal opinion, if you pay a dime for this man`s opinion or advice, you`re an idiot.
ANDERSON: Leslie, very quickly, 10 seconds. Do you think he really hates this Rosie this much or like Ben says, is he trying to get attention?
MARSHALL: I think both. He`s trying to get attention, but I do think he hates her this much because she doesn`t give him that attention and she doesn`t worship The Donald. He should spend his millions and buy some more real estate.
