(MUSIC PLAYING)

Hello. I am A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Hi there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson, coming to you from Hollywood. And tonight, Carrie`s sex tape confessions.

HAMMER: Yes. Carrie Prejean confirmed it herself today on national television. The conservative family values beauty queen admitted, first thing this morning on "Today" show, that she did indeed make a sex tape of herself.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PREJEAN: You can call it whatever you want to call it. If you want to call it a sex tape, that`s fine. But.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: But what do you call it?

PREJEAN: It was me, by myself. There was no one else with me. I was not having sex.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes, Carrie Prejean really did say today she made a sex tape but she was not having sex, at least not with someone else. Well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has all the big news breaking today.

Carrie Prejean went on a virtual confession tour all morning long from the "Today" to a feisty face-off with the ladies of "The View." She calls the tape the biggest mistake of her life.

But she is not apologizing. Prejean came out swinging today, claiming she is the target of the same people who have attacked Sarah Palin.

And it`s the beauty versus the Donald. Wait until you hear Prejean`s startling her claims about how she says Donald Trump absolutely humiliated beauty queens like herself.

Joining me tonight in Hollywood is Carlos Diaz, who is a correspondent for "Extra." Tonight, in New York, Megan Alexander, who is a correspondent for "Inside Edition."

Seems like all we`re hearing today is Carrie, Carrie, Carrie. She was on the "Today" show, on "The View." She made the news circuit. And she admits she made the biggest mistake of her life with this sex tape that`s not really a sex tape.

Carlos, off to you first. She did own up to it, but she certainly did not apologize. Now, considering she is the face of family values these days, should she have said I`m sorry?

CARLOS DIAZ, CORRESPONDENT, "EXTRA": I am just counting her 15 minutes right now, by the way. Yes, she should have - yes, tick, tick, tick, tick, A.J. Very good. She should have said she`s sorry. She didn`t.

And I love what you said in the opening, her virtual apology, because she really - it was kind of virtual. She really didn`t she was sorry. So it was the biggest mistake of her life, but the words "I am sorry" never came out of her mouth.

And you can`t have it both ways, Carrie. I`m sorry. You can`t call for family values and then have a tape of you, where you are doing unspeakable things, things that - and I talked to some inside sources about what is on that tape. It`s pretty bad and you can`t have it both ways.

HAMMER: Well, she is on a media tour and she does have to stick to her talking points, Carlos. Let`s keep that in mind. And the whole point of this media blitz that Carrie Prejean is on is to defend her good name, so to speak.

But I`ve got to say, some of the things that she said today on the various TV appearances made us go, "Huh?" She tells "Today" show host Meredith Vieira, you know, "Hey it`s not a sex tape." Don`t you need a partner to have a sex tape? Take a look.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PREJEAN: You could call it whatever you want to call it. If you want to call it a sex tape, that`s fine. But.

MEREDITH VIEIRA, CO-HOST, "TODAY" SHOW: But what do you call it?

PREJEAN: It was me by myself. There was no one else with me. I was not having sex. I sent it to my boyfriend at the time. I was a teenager. I cared about him. I trusted him. And you know, but the main point is that there is a campaign against me to try and silence me for the past seven months for the answer that I gave at the pageant.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes, that answer that she`s talking about right there, of course, is when she spoke out against same-sex marriage during the Miss USA pageant. Megan, are you buying that all of this is a big smear campaign against her?

MEGAN ALEXANDER, CORRESPONDENT, "INSIDE EDITION": You know, A.J., I think what`s difficult is there are several different issues going on here. There`s the gay marriage question at Miss USA. There is sometimes her speaking out about women - conservative women in the media. And then there is this explicit sex tape, if you will.

So I do agree that sometimes these tend to blur specifically on the tape. It was nice to see her finally say, you know, "I made a huge mistake." And as I`ve said always, you know, she needs to move forward.

I do think that she needs to stay on topic and not continually bring it back to that people are against her due to Miss USA.

HAMMER: Yes.

ALEXANDER: Because that tape was made when she was 17 before any of this Miss USA controversy. I do think it`s important to stay on topic.

HAMMER: Yes. You make a good point. It is about several things. I`ve said all along, it`s not right for anybody to viciously attack her for what she believes in. But at the same time, if she is going to be waving the flag for free speech, she`s got to realize people who are criticizing her are waving that same flag.

Now, if this alleged smear campaign wasn`t enough Carrie Prejean also claimed today that she, along with other conservative women, as you mentioned, Megan, are being - and this is her word, "Palinized." She got a more than a little testy with Meredith Vieira on the "Today" show about the whole thing. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

VIEIRA: You said in the book you have been "Palinized," referencing Sarah Palin. What do you mean by that? "I`ve been `Palinized.`"

PREJEAN: You know of the attacks Sarah Palin has been under attacked, don`t you?

VIEIRA: Don`t you think if you`re a conservative woman.

PREJEAN: Do you think Sarah Palin has been attacked?

VIEIRA: I think Sarah Palin has certainly been criticized, absolutely, by a lot of people, as have many politicians.

PREJEAN: And there is a double standard out there. There is an extreme double standard that conservative women are under attack. Why is there this double standard?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Carlos, what do you think? Is Carrie Prejean being "Palinized?" Would that be a bad thing?

DIAZ: Sure. If Sarah Palin had a sex tape, sure, I could see that happening immediately. No, you`re being "Prejeanized" if you will, because you`re talking about family values and you made a sex tape. You`re talking about family values and there are topless photos of you out there.

As I said before, you can`t have it both ways. You can`t talk about family values and then do things that most families find despicable.

HAMMER: I want to bring in Brooke Anderson. I want to get your take on this, Brooke. Because we all sat there and we watched Prejean, on show after show, explain herself and explain the sex tape.

Do you think she did a good job to the point where we should let her off the hook at this point?

ANDERSON: No, we shouldn`t, A.J. I mean, I applaud her, sure, for owning up to the tape and being honest about what she says is the biggest mistake of her life. But this girl is in no way in any position to be any sort of family values spokesperson. How many families would want their daughters emulating Carrie Prejean? Enough said.

HAMMER: Enough said, indeed. And by the way, just coincidentally perhaps, Carrie Prejean has a new book out this week. And she is actually taking on Donald Trump in this book.

She claims that Donald Trump humiliated the beauty queens at the Miss USA pageant by picking out the ones he thought were hot. Well, today, in a very prickly interview on "The View," Barbara Walters flat-out said, and she speaks from experience here, Prejean is picking on the wrong man.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BARBARA WALTERS, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER AND CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": We understand that he feels that this never happened and that he may sue you for saying this, that he did meet all the women, but that he never said, "You`re hot. You`re not. You`re in. You`re out."

PREJEAN: No, he didn`t say that, "You`re hot. You`re not."

WALTERS: But what you have said in the book.

PREJEAN: In my book, I talked specifically about what happened.

(CROSSTALK)

WALTERS: In the book. If you say, you know, who do you think? That`s perhaps a way of getting to understand people. But what you suggested was that it was a little, let`s say.

PREJEAN: Well, take it however you want to take it. But there are 50 girls that will testify.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Now, let`s not forget that Donald Trump and the Miss USA organization fired her. I`m thinking not a great idea, taking on Donald Trump. Carlos Diaz, I know you and the guys at "Extra" spoke with the Donald today about this. How is he feeling about what she saying?

DIAZ: I had a lengthy conversation today with Donald Trump. And he was actually completely classy. I mean, I asked leading questions for him to take some shots at Carrie Prejean. He did not. He says he is disgusted about the way that she is portraying him in the book.

He says he never, ever separated the women in a pageant by hot and not hot. And I mean, it makes sense. They`re are all pageant contestants. How do you say one is hot and one is not? They are all attractive. So you know, how does that happen? But he denies that. He says it never, ever happened.

HAMMER: In a terrific moment on "The View" today, Barbara Walters grabbed Carries hand and said, "You know, this is the best thing that ever happened to you." Megan, would you agree with that?

ALEXANDER: You know, I do think there`s a point where you need to move forward. You need to move forward. The pageant was what it was. I don`t think she should go backwards. She should move forward.

Again, where does she see her future? If she does want to be a spokesperson for family values and conservative values, she needs to really start thinking about, is she indeed making a change. I just think you`ve got to move forward.

HAMMER: Yes.

ALEXANDER: No, don`t bash the Donald. Don`t bash the pageant. It was what it was. Go forward.

HAMMER: And there are better ways of putting all of this behind her, I believe. I don`t think she accomplished that today. Carlos Diaz, Megan Alexander, thank you guys.

And that is not the only sex tape scandal making for big news breaking tonight. Jennifer Lopez in a sex tape shocker of her own. Well, in just a few minutes, we`re going to tell you the incredible pain she is taking to make this nightmare go away.

Now, I want to turn it over to you for our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day - "Carrie Prejean`s Sex Tape Confession: Has she lost credibility?" You can sound off at CNN.com/ShowbizTonight. You can E-mail us at showbiztonight@cnn.com.

ANDERSON: Step right up. Get ready for the outrageous Jon and Kate legal circus. Tonight, the unbelievable story behind Jon Gosselin`s bizarre brand-new multimillion-dollar court fight. Why even Lindsay Lohan`s train wreck dad is a part of it. Grab your cotton candy and your glow sticks. I have your ringside seat for the Jon and Kate`s circus.

Hey, speaking of train wreck, Levi Johnston is making a shocking legal move of his own. He`s launching a brand-new fight today against Sarah Palin. Let me tell you - this is going to be ugly.

And also this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: That`s incredible. Did she not think anybody would notice? That`s outrageous.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: What video did SHOWBIZ TONIGHT show that woman that left her totally speechless?

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - these are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

TEXT: Justin Timberlake granted three-year restraining order against alleged stalker. David Letterman blackmail suspect asks judge to drop the case against him.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I am Brooke Anderson with A.J. Hammer in New York. Tonight, rooting for Rihanna. And I can tell you Rihanna should be feeling great today after being honored are one of "Glamour" magazine`s women of the year.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there on the red carpet in New York City talking to Rihanna last night for the very first time since her explosive abuse tell-all interview on ABC.

With us tonight in New York is Janell Snowden. Janell is the host of "VH1 News" and just sat down with Rihanna who told her a haunting brand-new revelation about how her tragedy may have changed women`s lives forever.

Janell, I`ve got to tell you. Rihanna was very reluctant to answer our questions about her emotional ABC interview about the night Chris Brown beat her up. But Rihanna did tell SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that she feels immense pressure now that she is standing up and calling herself a role model. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: How does it feel to be a role model?

RIHANNA, SINGER: Great.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Especially now?

RIHANNA: I mean it`s a lot of pressure being a role model, realistically. But in any way you can help people, I think that`s what life is about - you know, learning and teaching.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Janelle, when you spoke with Rihanna, did you get the sense that she is still having a hard time dealing with being a role model?

SNOWDEN: Actually, she said that really she embraces it now. And I think it`s because of the outpouring of support that she`s seen. And I think that it`s also because - you know, who doesn`t want to be called a role model? There is a lot of pressure, but she told me that she`s ready to step up to the challenge and receive it.

ANDERSON: Yes. And I`m sure that it will take some time for her to adjust and embrace it more and more. And Rihanna told you exclusively, a truly remarkable story about how her tell-all on ABC may have saved one woman`s life who was in an abusive relationship. Let`s watch that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RIHANNA: And I had a fan who wrote in a letter. She was contemplating. She was saying after the "20/20" interview with Diane Sawyer aired - she was in an abusive relationship. So she called the hotline and she wanted them to help.

She wanted them to hide her and her daughter and get out of that relationship, which was really inspiring for me that she went from thinking about killing herself to moving on with a new life.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Janelle, truly remarkable. When you think about how Rihanna was widely criticized for not speaking out sooner, and now look at the effect that she is having.

SNOWDEN: I know. I tell you, Brooke. It`s like a tough situation for her to be in. Obviously, this is a painful memory, one that she doesn`t want to have to live with so much.

But had she talked about it eight months ago when it first happened, by the time the album comes out, you know, many people would have said, "Oh, I am sick of hearing about it."

So now, she is trying to talk about it. She`s trying to do it in sort of a blanket way. And she is hoping to sort of stop talking about it so much by just forcing people to go and buy the album where she obviously addresses it.

ANDERSON: Yes. And she is not national same place eight or nine months ago, obviously. Well, right there, cheering on Rihanna, some really big stars at last night`s "Glamour" awards.

And tennis superstar Serena Williams and actress Kerry Washington told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that they`ve got nothing but love for Rihanna. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KERRY WASHINGTON, ACTRESS: Very excited to see Ri, and congratulate her on changing the face of the planet with her interview, to look at the statistics on what has happened with women calling hot lines saying, "This is what`s happening to me," because Rihanna did that. It`s amazing. She`s a rock star in more ways than one.

SERENA WILLIAMS, TENNIS STAR: I think when you are in a position and things happen to you, it`s tough to talk about it. And sometimes, when you talk about it, it makes you a hero.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Janelle, Rihanna - it`s very clear she is a very, very strong woman and an inspiration to every one, to all of us. Thank you so much for sharing your interview with her. We appreciate it.

SNOWDEN: Thank you.

ANDERSON: And can you catch Janell`s interview with Rihanna this Saturday morning on "VH1 News."

HAMMER: You know, Brooke, people are really taking sides about Chris Brown`s speaking out just after Rihanna did her very first interview since he beat her up.

ANDERSON: That`s right, A.J. The "Showbiz on Call" phone lines have been ringing nonstop. We got a call from Erica in North Carolina. She says that Chris has a right to speak out.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

CALLER: I understand everybody`s mad at Chris Brown, but he has the right to talk, too. And I think he accepts responsibility for what he did, so people should also try to accept his apology.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Thank you, Erica.

HAMMER: And we also heard from Shonise calling into "Showbiz on Call" from Kentucky, and Shonise thinks that Chris needs to shut his face.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

CALLER: I think Chris Brown should be quiet and let Rihanna speak out. She`s just now feeling comfortable to speak out about it and I don`t blame him. So I think he should just be quiet and let her do her thing.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: I agree, Shonise. Thank you for your call. You can call us at "Showbiz on Call," speak out on this or anything else that is on your mind.

ANDERSON: The "Showbiz on Call" phone lines always open. Give us a ring at 1-888-SBT-BUZZ; that`s 1-888-728-2899. Leave a voicemail. We will play some of your calls right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

HAMMER: Well, there are big breaking developments today about two stars and their sex tapes. First, Jennifer Lopez` sex tape shocker. J. Lo caught up in a dramatic fight to stop her ex-husband from releasing a very intimate tape. Let me say, if the thing comes out, well, you can toss that old "Jenny from the Block" thing right out the window.

Also, Carrie Prejean with new confessions about her solo sex tape today.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

VIEIRA: You have been called absolutely terrible names. But there are people who say they want to call you on the carpet when they feel you`re being a hypocrite.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Tough questions this morning from "Today`s" Meredith Vieira. Is Carrie a total hypocrite because, you know, she`s been preaching conservative family values just as this sex tape surfaces? The startling results of our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll.

Also, the surprising, just revealed thing that Ellen and Oprah d have in common. Wait until you hear this. Plus, Ellen`s wife opens up with brand- new details with how they met. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MICHELLE OBAMA, UNITED STATES FIRST LADY: If you eat all of these healthy foods, you`re going to grow up to be big and strong just like me.

BIG BIRD: And me. Well, I am still growing.

ELMO: I can`t wait to eat the food and grow.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ELLEN DEGENERES, HOST, "THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW": Do we have a drum roll or something like that? Because that makes it more dramatic. Let`s see it.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Hey, this is a huge deal here. Oprah and Ellen DeGeneres reveal one of the demo covers of the "O" magazine - Oprah sharing the cover with Ellen. And this is only the second time that Oprah has done this. She has shared the cover with Michelle Obama back in April. Actually, Ellen and Oprah posed for four covers together. That one was the third.

Now, Ellen`s wife, Portia De Rossi, also stopped by the "Oprah" show and revealed very personal things about how she totally fell for Ellen and when she realized Ellen was the one.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

OPRAH WINFREY, HOST, "THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW": When did you know that she was the one for you?

PORTIA DE ROSSI, WIFE OF ELLEN DEGENERES: When I first laid eyes on her. But it took me three years to actually tell her how I felt about her, because I was on "Ally McBeal" at that time and I was not living as an openly gay person.

I was closeted and very afraid that if I talked about being gay, it would be the end of my career. So I was not about to then date the most famous lesbian in the world. At one time that was the most significant was during photo shoot, actually.

I just walked over to say hello to her and I couldn`t believe it. But she turned around and it was like an arrow was shot through my heart. I felt weak at the knees and I was overwhelmed with how I felt.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Well, Portia adds that it took her 10 months after that to ask Ellen out.

ANDERSON: And I just checked our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook wall. There is a raging debate going on. So many of you are posting stuff about how Chris Brown commented on Rihanna`s very first TV interview since he beat her up.

Mai S. writes, "Chris Brown has every right to defend himself or say what he would like to say about it."

But Kate L. thinks that Chris should shut up, "Every time he has something to say about it, it`s like he`s defending what he has done. Cop it on the chin mate and be done with it. Every time you open your mouth, you dig your hole deeper."

Plus, more news stories breaking from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker."

TV`s most provocative entertainment show continues right now.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I am A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

ANDERSON: And I am Brooke Anderson coming to you from Hollywood.

And tonight, is there a J. Lo sex tape? That`s just one of two sex tape SHOWBIZ shockers making for big news breaking today.

Jennifer Lopez has filed a $10 million lawsuit against her ex-husband. Lopez is trying to stop him from releasing a very intimate tape of her that he shot during their honeymoon. He says he wants to use the tape in a movie about J. Lo.

And also breaking tonight, Carrie Prejean`s confession tour. Carrie confirmed today she made a solo sex tape but she is not apologizing for it. Does that make the conservative former beauty queen a hypocrite?

HAMMER: Well, wait until you hear the results that we just got in late today of our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll asking that very question.

Joining me tonight in Hollywood, Carlos Diaz, who is a correspondent for "Extra." In New York is Megan Alexander, who is a correspondent for "Inside Edition."

I want to begin with this J. Lo sex tape. Jennifer Lopez` ex-husband, Ojani Noa, says he wants to use a sex tape of Jennifer Lopez for a movie that he is doing all about their relationship. Megan, what do you think? Should J. Lo be worried here?

ALEXANDER: You know what people will do for a buck, A.J. And unfortunately, there is an audience out there for it. I mean it seems very disappointing that somebody that you once, you know, cared deeply about would reveal something so private, so personal.

You know, I don`t even know what to say necessarily. I think she should attempt to fight it. But she did do it in the first place, so once again it comes back to haunt you, I suppose.

HAMMER: Man, I just continue to not understand why anybody would put anything on tape they would not want it to get out one day when they are in the public eye.

Well, let me tell you what the video reportedly includes. Lopez wearing skimpy underwear. There are scenes reportedly of an embarrassing and ugly argument between J. Lo and her mom.

And keep in mind, this was a private that they shot on their honeymoon back in 1997. They were married for less than a year. And he reportedly signed a confidentiality agreement when they got divorced.

Brooke Anderson, I want to bring you back in. Do you think that he could actually get away with using a tape like this?

ANDERSON: Anything is possible, A.J. But he is going up against a really heavy hitter in his ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez. And I agree with Megan. I think it is disgusting that he is trying to make money off this private footage and betray a woman he once loved. They were married, for goodness` sake. Lesson here is put the video camera down, people. For crying out loud, put it down. Turn it off!

HAMMER: Yes, and you bring up a good point. Obviously, J. Lo is a heavy hitter, a lot of resources, big lawyers. The fact that he is moving forward with this and thinking he could get away with it says to me that maybe he can get away with it.

I don`t know. But you are not the only one, Brooke, who thinks it`s disgusting. The ladies of "The View" just going off this morning on Jennifer`s ex-husband. In fact, Sherri Shepherd really let him have it. Let`s look.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SHERRI SHEPHERD, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": When you get married, this is a trust factor that you have. You`re married, and the fact that he is trying to sell this, you should be ashamed of yourself because she gave you money to shut up. But because you did not spend your money right - that`s ridiculous.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Megan, I am thinking a lot of people are going to be agreeing with Sherri Shepherd. Don`t you?

ALEXANDER: I agree, A.J. What is sacred anymore about trust that they did have for their marriage? You know, unfortunately, it didn`t work out. But to keep those moments private and to honor that time that you did have with your partner. I think it`s just despicable that he would not honor her and try to go public with this. And unfortunately, what people want to do for some money is very unfortunate nowadays.

HAMMER: Let`s move on to our next SHOWBIZ shocker today then. Carrie Prejean`s brand-new confession tour after a sex tape of her was leaked. Well, she sat down with Meredith Vieira this morning on the "Today" show.

Meredith asked the conservative former beauty queen about being called a hypocrite because, you know, in her new book which she is promoting right now, she wrote this, "Our bodies are temples of the Lord. Yet, she also shot a sex tape of herself when she was 17. Watch how Carrie responded. And she thinks that the criticism is tied to her slamming same-sex marriage at the Miss USA pageant seven months ago.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PREJEAN: I am a model. I was in a beauty pageant. I mean if people want to call me a hypocrite, then that`s their prerogative. But you know what? I`ve learned from my mistakes. No one`s perfect. You`re not perfect. I am not perfect. No one`s is perfect. Everybody makes mistakes.

And I think it`s all about, you know, taking responsibility for your mistakes. And it just so happens that, you know, seven months - it`s been seven months since I gave that answer.

And they have done nothing but attack me and try and silence me and keep me from spreading that message that free speech still exists. And that`s the reason why (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Now, as somebody who does interviews for a living, I listen very carefully to see if people answer the questions that they are asked. She never really answered that question. She said that if people want to call her a hypocrite, that`s their prerogative. But that`s not really an answer to whether or not she`s a hypocrite.

Megan, I think that she did herself a disservice by kind of dancing around it, not addressing it straightforward.

ALEXANDER: I completely agree, A.J. It`s so important to address things head on and, again, stay to topic. You know, Brooke brought up something interesting earlier, too, when she said that young girls are looking at Carrie as a role model. It`s so important she address it directly, say she made a mistake, move forward, but keep the issues separate.

Going back to the people that are against her ever since the Miss USA pageant - again, that tape supposedly was shot when she was 17, way before this. Stick to topic. If you are going to apologize, do it 100 percent and then move forward and accept the consequences for that mistake.

HAMMER: Yes. People get something called media training before they go on and are interviewed on big shows like the "Today" show and "The View." Sometimes you can be a little over trained. And I think that may have been the case here.

The media tour did roll on for Carrie when she went on "The View" today. Whoopi Goldberg also asked her about possibly being a hypocrite in other ways. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WHOOPI GOLDBERG, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": If you have presented yourself and can make (UNINTELLIGIBLE) about others` way of life, are you surprised that you are getting the same sort of backlash?

PREJEAN: Well, I think that the biggest thing is that I expressed my view. I was in front of millions of people ...

GOLDBERG: As we are here now.

PREJEAN: ... and people weren`t happy with that.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Carlos, she keeps bringing it back to when she answered the question about gay marriage at the Miss USA pageant. But this controversy now really has nothing to do with that.

DIAZ: Not at all. And I think Whoopi completely nailed it right there. Because she voiced her opinion about something that, you know, she doesn`t agree with. And people, you know, said - they went up in arms. And she said, "Well, it`s freedom of speech."

But you know what, though? You did something, Carrie - you did something that a lot of people don`t agree with which is make a sex tape. It`s not alleged. It`s there. And from the sources that I`ve talked to, there`s not just one, all right? So there are sex tapes involved here. So you cannot fault us for calling you a hypocrite because you`re judging people when you need to look in the mirror yourself.

HAMMER: And of course, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - can I confirm or deny whether or not there is another sex tape? Carlos Diaz, I`ll leave that one on your page. But we did ask something on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day which really, I think, shows how people are feeling generally. And she didn`t do herself any favor today to fight this.

"Carrie Prejean Sex Tape: Is she a hypocrite?" Look at this - 80 percent who responded said yes; only 20 percent no. But let me get to a couple E-mails.

We have Ethel in Louisiana who wrote, "Everyone makes mistakes when they are young. I truly believe in her."

All right. Eighty percent of the voters say she`s a hypocrite. Ethel represents the other 20 percent who says she is not. Now, Megan, regardless of what people think of Carrie Prejean, she is still out there selling that book, right? I mean, it`s working for her one way or another?

ALEXANDER: It is true. And again, that`s why I think you really need to think about what you want to talk about, move forward, and direct it, you know, address it head on.

And actually, in my interview that I did with her on "Inside Edition," I said, "How do you feel when people say, you know, you are hypocritical and so forth." It`s an opportunity for her to say, "Look, I make mistakes. We all make mistakes." She did say that in our interview. But I think you really do need to move forward. I can`t say it enough.

HAMMER: Megan Alexander, Carlos Diaz, thank you, both. And this just in about the J. Lo sex tape. Late today, a judge extended a restraining preventing any release of the tape until at least December.

ANDERSON: Levi Johnston just won`t go away. He has some brand-new shocking revelations just out today about the new legal fight he is about to lunch against Sarah Palin and her family.

And in other shocking legal news, the stage is being set for the most bizarre courtroom drama ever, featuring a train wreck cast including not only Jon and Kate Gosselin, but Lindsay Lohan`s father, Michael. What is that all about? I`ve got the juicy details.

Also this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: That`s incredible. Did she not think anybody would notice? That`s outrageous.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: So what video did SHOWBIZ TONIGHT show to get that kind of response? Just wait until you find out. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

HAMMER: It is time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom, and they are making news right now.

TEXT: Kathy Griffin to return to "Life on the D-List," shooting begins in January. Donald Trump to produce new dating show for "Apprentice" alum Omarosa.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I am A.J. Hammer in New York along with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

OK. Did you see this? A woman in Boston falls on to the subway tracks. Now, obviously, this story could have ended just horribly. But the driver of the subway train slammed on to the breaks and came to a screeching halt. This was amazing.

The people on the platform were franticly waving their arms and the driver, Charice Lewis, pulled the emergency break. She is being hailed as a hero. The woman who fell got some scrapes but is just fine. And she told authorities she had been drinking.

ANDERSON: Tonight, get ready for what may become the biggest, most outrageous Jon and Kate legal circus ever, featuring a train wreck cast that includes not only Jon and Kate, but Lindsay Lohan`s father.

The stage is set for the showdown in court having to do with their breach of contract lawsuit TLC brought against Jon for preventing from shooting his kids for a sequel to "Jon & Kate Plus 8."

And tonight, Levi Johnston has also jumping aboard the train wreck express with a revelation about how he is going to fight for the baby he had with Sarah Palin`s daughter.

With us tonight in New York is Atty. B.J. Bernstein. And in Hollywood, Kim Serafin who is a senior editor for "In Touch Weekly."

Ladies, let`s start by setting the scene for Jon Gosselin`s upcoming court date. And it really is going to be quite a circus. Listen to this.

TLC has subpoenaed Lindsay Lohan`s father, Michael Lohan; Jon`s 22- year-old girlfriend, Hailey Glassman; and his former fling, Kate Major.

What a crew. B.J. reports they subpoenaed Michael Lohan, and that`s two friends and one enemy. How do you think that is making Jon look?

B.J. by my count, that`s two friends, Hailey and Michael Lohan, and one enemy, Kate Major. How do you think things are looking for Jon.

B.J. BERNSTEIN, ATTORNEY: Not good in terms of, you know - TLC is being smart in making this move because they are trying to show that Jon breached his contract with them. He`s not supposed to make deals with other people.

And the rumors are out that he was trying to shop another reality show with Michael Lohan that - and of course, the women he is spending time with would overhear phone calls, perhaps even to the E-mails that he was making and trying to do interviews or setting things up outside of the contract. So as much as a circus, it actually is legally relevant.

ANDERSON: It sure is. And it`s not looking good for Jon, as you say. So we`ve got a reality show star, a father of a Hollywood star, a former fling and a current girlfriend, all expected to show up in court.

Kim, is it just me, or does this sound like this courtroom showdown could be a reality show in and of itself?

KIM SERAFIN, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": Oh, my gosh. Who is missing the ball on this? This is the show they should be doing. This is very exciting. I would tune in to this.

Plus the TLC PR department, marketing department would have to do nothing, basically. They could just go home and, you know, play solitaire on their computers.

ANDERSON: Yes.

SERAFIN: Because Michael Lohan certainly knows how to get publicity. He`ll bring in some things about Lindsay. Jon Gosselin, we know, knows how to get publicity especially these days, you know.

He`ll invite a camera crew to go do some yoga poses with him. He`ll go Hanukkah gift shopping for his kids. You`ll never know at times. But this is a reality show people want to see. If TLC wants to get ratings, they would throw out the last season and do this.

ANDERSON: They should just line the courtroom with cameras, catch all the action, make a weekend special out of it. And as we like to say around here, but wait, there`s more.

Jon reportedly planning on countersuing TLC for, get this, $5 million, claiming that TLC is keeping him from earning a living. B.J., you`re the attorney. Is he out of his mind? He is the one that shut down the show when he prevented TLC from filming his eight kids with Kate.

BERNSTEIN: He`s really going to have a difficult time. And in fact, TLC has responded to him, saying, listen, we are not stopping you from your original job. Perhaps you should go to that, your pre-television day job.

These are not people who have talent, who are singers or actors who had something. He is simply from this reality show. And so he`s got difficult, difficult road to hoe here.

ANDERSON: Yes.

BERNSTEIN: And also the timing with this divorce. It`s a mess.

ANDERSON: It`s a mess. And I think he has a skewed sense of how much his image is worth. Goodness, gracious.

Moving now to another legal battle I want to get to that`s getting ready to go down in court. It involves another train wreck, Levi Johnston. He has just released his - that he will fight for joint custody of the baby that he had with Sarah Palin`s daughter.

Levi clams the Palin family is making it difficult for him to see his 10-month-old son. Kim, coming from the guy who`s about to pose for "Playgirl," sincere heartfelt move here or cheap publicity stunt? Because I smell publicity stunt.

SERAFIN: Yes. I am not sure Levi would even know how to spell publicity or custody for that matter. So let`s put that out there. Yes. You know, if Levi was out there talking about his son, talking about wanting to be a good father, talking about what he is doing to try and be a good dad, that would be one thing.

But it seems like he talks about Sarah Palin. He talks about how they are mean to him. He talks about Sarah Palin being a hypocrite. He talks about his "Playgirl" shoot. He is not really talking about his son. He`s not doing anything that would make anyone believe he is really trying to be a good dad.

ANDERSON: Yes. If Levi really is going to fight for his child, if he were really smart, B.J., I`m thinking he would clean up his act, which is I cannot imagine that posing nude for "Playgirl" is going to help here.

BERNSTEIN: No. A court is not going to necessarily be happy with that. And the bottom line here is, we have someone who is incredibly immature, then thrown into the spotlight but left with a very serious important lifetime issue which is, he and Bristol share a child, will share that child forever.

And it`s OK to seek joint custody, but that is a solemn, serious legal obligation. And that`s what is going to give everybody reservation here.

ANDERSON: Yes, he needs to take that responsibility very seriously. And he needs to keep his pants on. Who is advising him to pose for "Playgirl?" B.J. Bernstein, Kim Serafin, thanks.

HAMMER: Tonight, the Travoltas show up for the premiere of their new movie, truly a family affair here. John Travolta and his wife, Kelly Preston, star in "Old Dogs." And their daughter Ella Bleu makes her film debut.

We were at the premiere in Los Angeles. The Travoltas did not talk to reporters. They have mostly been in seclusion since the tragic death of their teenage son, Jett, in January.

John Travolta said, though, he wants to promote this film because his daughter is in it. But every day, it is still a struggle as they are dealing with their devastating loss.

Well, at the premiere, the Travoltas` co-stars had glowing things to tell SHOWBIZ TONIGHT all about Ella`s performance and working with John.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ROBIN WILLIAMS, ACTOR: There`s nothing I can say other than I love you and that he gives it back. He is an amazing man. He has always been that way. He`s a human equivalent of like a Prozac. You see him and all of a sudden, you feel good.

SETH GREEN, ACTOR: All of the personal stuff that I need to say to him, I`ve already said to him. But I do think it`s great. Ella, no kidding, their daughter, she`s genuinely interested in being an actress and takes it very seriously.

LORI LOUGHLIN, ACTRESS: I think that this is really a wonderful opportunity for Ella to make her film debut with both of her parents. And I think it`s so special for John and for Kelly to have this forever on film with their daughter at, you know, such a precious little age.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: You can see the whole family on film when "Old Dogs" hits theaters on November 25th.

ANDERSON: Tonight, the unbelievable moment caught on tape that has people outraged.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: That`s incredible. Did she not think anybody would notice? That`s outrageous.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: So what video did SHOWBIZ TONIGHT show her to get that reaction? Just wait until you find out. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

TEXT: Khloe Kardashian wedding most watched show in E! history among women 18 to 34. NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has myeloid leukemia, a type of cancer.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Well, tonight, she is being called the meanest player in women`s soccer. You have probably seen the video by now of this University of New Mexico soccer player throwing punches and pulling hair. Well, now, you`ve got to see how people are reacting to this.

Here`s CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on the pony tail grab that has grabbed headlines.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

JEANNE MOOS, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): It was the hair pull that had jaws dropping and tongues wagging.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: That`s incredible. Did she not think anybody would notice? That`s outrageous.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh my goodness.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, my gosh. How rude.

MOOS: The reviews of Elizabeth Lambert`s (UNINTELLIGIBLE) were brutal. The dirtiest player in women`s soccer. The most violent female soccer player in history. Cheap shot, Lambert.

YouTubers put the University of Mexico student`s moves to music.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

Lambert got lambasted by TV hosts.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE TV CO-HOST: It is sick.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE TV CO-HOST: It is sick. It`s vile.

MOOS: By kids on YouTube.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: That Lambert chick, she is really crazy.

MOOS: By a hooded guy called Mr. Doodie head.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: She looked angry. (INAUDIBLE). She is an attractive lady.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She`s a bully.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Wow, I thought my ex was bad. That`s terrible.

MOOS: In her defense, her Brigham Young University opponent did elbow her in the chest before Lambert whacked her back. And another opponent grabbed on to her shorts before she grabbed her braid.

The hair pull has become the new head butt. Remember Zinedine Zidane, the French captain who head-butted an Italian player at the World Cup.

The head-butter`s team lost and so did Elizabeth Lambert by one goal. The girl Lambert jabbed in the back got back at her by pointing at the score board.

Some were more forgiving.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Is that (INAUDIBLE).

MOOS: And as a ban "Elizabeth Lambert from College Soccer" page sprouted on Facebook, a "Free Elizabeth Lambert" Facebook page also cropped up. "My kind of chica; she`s tough."

So are these high school girls in Rhode Island soccer playing got into a little brawl Sunday night. Later, the fans got into it. Elizabeth Lambert apologized and was suspended indefinitely. Her player profile says she is studying occupational therapy, which could come in handy treating her opponents she decks.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Brutish, but also kind of hottish.

MOOS: Hot under the collar.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: That`s a really mean girl.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: That was CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Did you see that, Brooke? She pulled that young woman`s hair.

ANDERSON: I know. Not hard, though.

HAMMER: Unbelievable. Well, that is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: I am Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. You can catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on the 11:00s - 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific, and in the morning, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern on HLN.
