A.J. HAMMER, CO-HOST: Right now, on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Carrie Prejean blows her stack on live TV.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CARRIE PREJEAN, FORMER MISS CALIFORNIA USA: Larry, you are being inappropriate.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Tonight, the must-see video of the controversial former beauty queen threatening to walk out on "LARRY KING LIVE."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PREJEAN: You are being inappropriate, OK?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: The explosive fallout. Was Carrie out of line? And does she look absolutely ridiculous? A SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive. Donald Trump`s fired- up response today to Carrie`s tantrum after she dissed him big time. And what he is telling us about Carrie`s big diss.

Donald Trump, one-on-one today with our Brooke Anderson in the exclusive headline-making interview you will see only on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

And country takes on Kanye.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

Tonight, Taylor Swift`s new revenge on Kanye West. TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Hi there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson, coming to you from Hollywood. And tonight, the beauty blows her stack.

HAMMER: This was unbelievable. There was absolutely remarkable fallout today from Carrie Prejean`s incredible and I think downright embarrassing tantrum live on CNN`s "LARRY KING LIVE," threatening to walk off the show.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LARRY KING, HOST, "LARRY KING LIVE": Did you hear the question, Carrie? Did you hear the question?

PREJEAN: No, I can`t hear you.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Did you hear the question? Then, "I can`t hear you, but I`m answering your question." Wait, there is more. So much more, you will hardly believe what we are about to show you. It made for big news breaking today.

Carrie Prejean just got slammed for a hissy fit on "LARRY KING LIVE." after the conservative family values beauty queen was asked about the solo sex tape that she now admits to making claiming she sent it to her boyfriend when she was just 17 years old.

Hold on just a second. Today, that boyfriend is reportedly claiming that Carrie is lying, that she was actually 20 years old when she made the tape. And he accuses her of trying to get him to lie about that.

And in a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive today, Donald Trump went one-on-one with us, responding to Carrie`s claim that he humiliated beauty pageant contestants and telling us exclusively what he thinks about Carrie`s big meltdown on live TV.

Joining me tonight in New York is Whitney Casey. She`s a relationship expert and author of "The Man Plan." Tonight, in Hollywood is Carlos Diaz who is a correspondent for "Extra."

Well, Carrie Prejean`s brand-new with CNN`s Larry King was just astounding. I was sitting there live, watching the show as it happened and just thought holy molly, I can`t believe this is going on.

Larry asked Carrie a very simple question - why she settled the breach of contract lawsuit with the Miss California USA organization. Now, she reportedly settled when she was confronted with that solo sex tape she made. Larry asked the question. Watch what happened.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KING: So what you`re saying is, in mediation, it was discussed why you were mediating?

PREJEAN: Larry ...

KING: It was discussed.

PREJEAN: ... it`s completely confidential and you are being inappropriate.

KING: OK. I.

PREJEAN: OK? You`re being inappropriate.

KING: All right. Inappropriate King Live continues.

PREJEAN: Yes.

KING: Detroit, hello.

CALLER (through telephone): Hi. I`m calling from Detroit. I`m a gay man and I love pageants. I`m sure you, Carrie, have got, you know, great gay friends that helped you possibly win. What would you give them as advice if they wanted to get married?

KING: Did you hear the question, Carrie? Did you hear the question? Is she leaving? Because I asked what motivated the settlement?

PREJEAN: Excuse me?

KING: Did you hear the question?

PREJEAN: No, I can`t hear you.

KING: You took the mike off. If you put the mike on, we can hear you.

PREJEAN: Yes. I think you are being extremely inappropriate right now and I`m about to leave your show.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. I`m going to call that a tamper tantrum, but you know what? I love - she is smiling the whole time because she`s a beauty queen after all. Carlos, was Carrie just out of line? Are you with me on that?

CARLOS DIAZ, CORRESPONDENT, "EXTRA": I felt like I was watching the TV show "V." You know, the part where she said, "Larry, don`t ask me any questions that will paint me in the negative light." And then, just like in "V," the true monster comes out.

You know, it`s funny. It seems very funny because she is all about freedom of speech, you know. That`s her big thing - freedom of speech. Real close to freedom of speech there, Carrie, is freedom of the press. And you can go on all of the shows you want and have your own agenda and say what they can and can`t ask.

No, you don`t do that to Larry King, OK? Larry asked you what he wants to ask you. You have been around for how long? You can`t control Larry King. And I think she came off looking pathetic.

HAMMER: And if you listened to what Larry was asking, he wasn`t asking her to breach whatever confidentiality agreement agreed. Now, remember, it just yesterday, Carrie, I think, just made a fool out of herself on "The View." Today, the ladies of "The View" had a field day with what happened on "LARRY." Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JOY BEHAR, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": That phone call was, "I`m gay and I want to trap you." If a question came through - I love you and Sarah Palin more than life itself - she wouldn`t have taken the call.

ELISABETH HASSELBECK, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": No, no, no. That call - she had no idea who was on that call before the caller started talking to her.

(CROSSTALK)

WHOOPI GOLDBERG, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": You know what? She`s also got to be fair.

HASSELBECK: Sure.

GOLDBERG: You know, she`s also got to be fair. And you know, we had her on the show. We asked legitimate questions and maybe they were not the comfortable. But she was a little bitchy, I have to say. She was - and we didn`t start out like this.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Whitney, is Whoopi right? Carrie`s tantrum - you know, it really showed her true colors is what she went on to say there. It didn`t start out as any kind of big argument.

WHITNEY CASEY, AUTHOR AND RELATIONSHIP EXPERT: I`m sorry, A.J. That was really an inappropriate question you just asked me. Excuse me. I`m going to have -

No. Seriously though. This was some great television. I`m sorry I was entranced by it. But what I will say is I thought, too, A.J., that it was interesting that she couldn`t hear, but she could hear, she like every blond has ESPN.

But besides all of that tomfoolery, what I thought was really interesting - and you saw Elisabeth Hasselbeck do it - it was the finger- pointing. I don`t know what it is about the right, but I`m doing it right now. It`s this finger pointing thing.

She almost said with the "you are inappropriate" with the finger- pointing. It made me think of Sarah Palin. And then, of course, I go online and read that now, they have become pals. Prejean and Palin are pals and now, it`s all about being perfect and you are inappropriate.

HAMMER: Whitney, don`t Palinize her, OK? Now, Donald Trump happened to be watching the show last night. Today, Donald Trump - on a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive interview, he did not hold back one bit on what he thinks of - shall I call her little Miss ex-California.

This is a woman actually bashed Donald Trump in her new book, saying he humiliated Miss USA contestants because he would go and single out the woman that he thought were hot. Brooke Anderson, come back in here, because you got that exclusive today.

ANDERSON: That`s right, A.J. I asked Trump what he thought of Carrie Prejean`s outrageous temper tantrum. Watch this.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

DONALD TRUMP, OWNER, MISS USA FRANCHISE: I actually was watching. I`m a big fan of Larry King and I was watching this. And I was very surprised to see it because she was talking about how inappropriate he was. Inappropriate is more of a sexual term as far as I`m concerned.

I mean, inappropriate - he has a very, very easy question and I was surprised she just didn`t say, "Hey, listen. I can`t answer that question." Instead, she wants to walk off the stage. It was very surprising. It was really very strange to watch it. It`s too bad. I felt badly for her, actually.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

ANDERSON: He felt badly for her. I was a little bit surprised he said that. Carlos, I thought that he would be a lot harsher. Didn`t you?

DIAZ: Yes. You know - and you are thinking the same way I was thinking. When I talked to him the other day, he was being very diplomatic. But he`s a genius in that way and I`ll tell you why.

Because if he starts bashing the girls that go out for the Miss USA pageant, well, then, no one will want to go for the pageant. And he`s a smart man and he owns the pageant. He wants, you know, to keep generating money so he is being very diplomatic in this case.

ANDERSON: Yes.

DIAZ: But I think at one point, he`s got to go Rosie O`Donnell on her at some time.

ANDERSON: He is going to lose it. Well, he is a smart business man and he is being very careful with his words. And coming up in just a few moments, you`re going to see the rest of my SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive with Donald Trump.

He tells me whether he is going to sue Prejean for what she wrote in her book. And A.J., I`ve got his outrageous reaction to her sex tape as well.

HAMMER: Yes. I want to hear that. And the sex tape controversy broke out even hotter today. More shocking new revelations as Carrie Prejean`s ex- boyfriend speaks out for the first time.

Now, this is the guy who reportedly was at the receiving end of Carrie`s sex tape. Well, he actually was, so she says. Carrie claims that she was 17 when she sent this sex tape to him. But he tells TMZ she`s lying about how old she was.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

TMZ: How old was she? How old was she?

CARRIE PREJEAN`S EX-BOYFRIEND: She was 19 when I was out there. The videos poured in all the way up to just shy of, gosh - I mean she had to be 21 years old.

Yes, I got a call from Carrie basically screaming at me, asking me why, why did I do this. And then she basically, at that point, said, "Will you tell them I was 17?"

TMZ: How did you respond when she said, "Will you say I was 17?"

CARRIE PREJEAN`S EX-BOYFRIEND: I said hell no, I won`t.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Whitney, if what her ex claims is true and Carrie really was 21, will anybody have any reason to believe anything she ever says again?

CASEY: Well, no. That just started with being Miss California. I`m sorry. But I`m saying this - like this guy - let me just defend - he`s kind of a louse. He is a bit of a louse to come out and bring all of this out. I mean, it is entertaining for all of us, yes ...

HAMMER: Right.

CASEY: ... and great for her book sales as we talked about yesterday. But it`s kind of a jerky thing for him to do and really, why is he doing it? I mean, we just kind of have to ask that.

HAMMER: No, it`s a good point.

CASEY: Those saucy pictures of her from their trip in San Diego - they`re incredibly funny we her Reese`s cup and stuff like that. You`ve got to see that. But I mean, come on. Why is he doing this?

(CROSSTALK)

HAMMER: That`s definitely a question worth asking. Whitney Casey, Carlos Diaz, thank you very much. Now, for the record, we did reach out to Carrie Prejean and have not heard back from her as of show time.

ANDERSON: A.J., as I said, today, I spoke with Donald Trump. And let me tell you, he is really fired up over this. It is my SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive. The very first reaction from the Donald today to Carrie`s "LARRY KING" tantrum. And you`ve got to hear what he is telling me about Carrie`s big diss of him. I`m one-on-one with the exclusive headline- making interview you will see only on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

More big news about Levi Johnston today. No, he is not posing nude for anyone else, but he`s got an amazing personal connection to Jon Gosselin. Levi and Jon? My head is spinning.

Also your very first look at Oprah`s interview with Levi`s good buddy, Sarah Palin.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

OPRAH WINFREY, HOST, "THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW": One final question about Levi. Will he be invited to Thanksgiving dinner?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Yes. Talk about awkward. Levi and Sarah at Thanksgiving dinner? Pass the stuffing. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with A.J. Hammer in New York. Hey, did you see this? Tonight, the controversy over the brand-new movie, "2012."

Now, the movie would have you believe that the world is coming to a spectacular end in 2012. Now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you have no fear, the end is not near. But because so many people have been talking about the thing, even NASA decided to look into it.

Here`s CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

JEANNE MOOS, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): Save the date could be the last one you save.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: December 21st, 2012.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: December 2012.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: 2012.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes, but 2012.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: December 21st, 2012.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Dude, are you high again?

MOOS: Oh, we`re going to be high, boiling sky high. Bye-bye Sistine Chapel. Bye-bye U.S. Capitol. Bye-bye White House, up the space (UNINTELLIGIBLE) aircraft Carrier. The doomsday movie, "2012" is coming out, but don`t stop paying your mortgage because NASA assures us nothing bad will happen.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: There is no threat to earth in 2012.

MOOS: Seriously, folks, there has been so much chatter about this -

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The Mayan calendar predicts the end times.

MOOS: But NASA is reassuring people on its Web site.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: All this talk about a doomsday is a big hoax.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: When they tell you not to panic, that`s when you run!

MOOS: NASA is having to tell people that another planet is not going to smash into ours.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Nibiru does not exist.

MOOS: (UNINTELLIGIBLE) it`s ludicrous.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Where did you start with this idiocy?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Many Web pages are created by nerds who actually believe this (EXPLETIVE DELETED).

MOOS: And mockers (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Gone, gone, gone. Still here, just a lot bigger.

MOOS: But there are true believers.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Get yourself as far away from the ocean as you can because they`re going to come ripping at you. Get out your voice stress analyzers and find out if I`m telling you the truth.

MOOS: Analyze this.

(on camera): Talk of the end of the world was just the beginning of a flood of questions.

(voice-over): Real scientists like the ones who ask the questions at "Ask an Astronomer" are getting messages like this -

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE (through telephone): There was a 4th grade boy who wrote in and said that he was too young to die, but had heard about 2012 and was scared.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Look at me. Do I look scared?

MOOS: Let`s see - December 21st, 2012 - that gives us about 1,130-some days left to live.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Look to Jesus.

MOOS: But if you look to NASA -

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Don`t worry about 2012 and in July 2013, when it comes.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: In 2012, I`m voting for Sarah Palin because the world is ending anyway.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: That was CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. And if you want to check out Hollywood`s interpretation of the end of the world, "2012" hits theaters tomorrow.

HAMMER: So Brooke, you know when we`ll know the end of the world is near?

ANDERSON: When is that, A.J.?

HAMMER: I`m thinking it`s when Donald Trump keeps quiet when someone attacks him.

ANDERSON: A.J., I really cannot wait to share my exclusive interview with the Donald about Carrie Prejean dissing him.

HAMMER: Well, Brooke, I can tell you our "Showbiz on Call" operators are getting a huge amount of calls today about Carrie nearly walking off the set of CNN`s "LARRY KING LIVE."

ANDERSON: That`s right. Susan in New York thinks Carrie was so out of line.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

SUSAN, CALLER FROM NEW YORK: She couldn`t even keep her mike on because she kept telling him he was being inappropriate as he asked questions. And she was ready to walk out of the interview. Aren`t you supposed to stand up for what you believe, not run the other direction? Seems to me like Carrie does a lot of running the other direction.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Thanks for your call, Susan.

HAMMER: Let`s hear from Jim calling into "Showbiz on Call" from California. And when it comes to Trump versus Carrie, he is on team Carrie.

JIM, CALLER FROM CALIFORNIA: Why shouldn`t Carrie take on Donald Trump? Why shouldn`t she? Just because he`s got a lot of money? Yes, she might get clobbered in this. But you know what? Stand up to him and say what you`ve got to say and let the chips fall where they may. Go Carrie.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Thank you, Jim. Remember, you, too, can call us at "Showbiz on Call."

ANDERSON: The "Showbiz on Call" phone lines are always open. The number 1-888-SBT-BUZZ; that`s 1-888-728-2899.

Also making big news today, the stripper`s surprising message for Fergie. Wait until you hear this. It`s where the stripper who claims she a wild night of sex with Fergie`s husband, Josh Duhamel, is telling Fergie now. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

It is time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

TEXT: Mike Tyson arrested after scuffle with photographer at L.A. airport. "Michael Jackson`s This is It" movie tops the $200 million mark in worldwide ticket sales.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Tonight, the stripper who claimed she had an affair with Josh Duhamel said, "I`m sorry."

ANDERSON: Yes, A.J. This is an incredible story. Nicole Forrester says she had a really steamy night with Josh who was married to the Black Eyed Peas` Fergie.

HAMMER: Yes. And Josh totally denies this ever happened. But tonight, Forrester, who said she met Duhamel while he was shooting a movie in Atlanta, is apologizing to Fergie.

In an interview with the TV show, "Extra," the stripper says at first she thought the affair wouldn`t get out and that it wouldn`t hurt anyone. But now, she realizes that, obviously, that`s not true.

Now, we also just told you about Fergie confirming that, yes, she is bisexual. And not only that, she has thought of cheating on her husband with women. Well, the ladies of "The View" were all fired up about this today. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GOLDBERG: Cheating is cheating. It doesn`t matter whether you are doing it with a doorknob or, you know -

(CROSSTALK)

BEHAR: (UNINTELLIGIBLE) like that.

SHERRI SHEPHERD, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": No, I think it`s cheating. If we are going to go into that - if you`re married and your mind is on somebody else sexually or you`re doing something with somebody else sexually, that is cheating.

(CROSSTALK)

BEHAR: I cannot accept that.

SHEPHERD: Why not?

(CROSSTALK)

BEHAR: There is an old joke, I think, (UNINTELLIGIBLE) used to talk about. These people who are married, while they`re in bed together, they sort of start going. And then, they turn around and go turn around. And then he says to her, "What`s the matter? Couldn`t you think of anybody either?"

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: You`ve got to love the old school humor. My opinion - I agree with cheating is cheating no matter who or what you are cheating with.

ANDERSON: So I just checked our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook page and our fans are going wild over what we told you about just a short time ago, Carrie Prejean`s tantrum on CNN`s "LARRY KING LIVE."

Just about everyone is furious with Carrie nearly walking off the set when Larry asked her some questions she didn`t like. Susanna Z. says, "She is the one who was inappropriate. She goes on a major show to promote her book and then rudely reprimands the host for asking a logical question. Her 15 minutes needs to expire soon."

And Mary Rose G. adds, "Her confronting Larry King is like confronting Donald Trump. It`s just something do you not do."

(MUSIC PLAYING)

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

ANDERSON: And I`m Anderson coming to you from Hollywood. And tonight, a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive, Donald Trump strikes back against meltdown beauty queen, Carrie Prejean, and it made for big news breaking today.

Wait until you hear my explosive, exclusive interview with Trump today, getting his very first reaction to Prejean`s over-the-top tantrum on CNN`s "LARRY KING LIVE." You are not going to believe what the Donald has to say about that.

I also asked Trump if he plans on suing Prejean for her claims about how he runs his pageant, accusing Trump in her book of singling out some of the beauty queens and humiliating them.

And I just had to ask Trump today if he would ever consider making Prejean a contestant on his hit TV show "Celebrity Apprentice."

This is the headline-making interview you will see only on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT beginning with Donald Trump`s very first reaction to Carrie Prejean`s meltdown on "LARRY KING LIVE."

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(on camera): I want to start first with Carrie Prejean`s meltdown on CNN`s "LARRY KING LIVE." I don`t know if you caught the show, but at one point, Larry was asking Carrie why she settled her lawsuit against the pageant. She told Larry he was being inappropriate. At one point, she even took off her mike.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KING: I`m not asking you what the settlement was.

PREJEAN: Confidential agreement.

KING: I`m asking you why did you agree to settle?

PREJEAN: It`s a confidential agreement I am not allowed to talk about that.

KING: So the agreement discusses the motive behind why each party agreed?

PREJEAN: Larry, you are being inappropriate. You really are so I`m not going to talk about -

KING: What? I`m asking a question.

PREJEAN: I`m not going to talk about anything that was discussed in mediation. It`s completely confidential and it was a confidential settlement.

KING: All I`m asking - all right. So what you are saying is, in mediation, it was discussed why you were mediating?

PREJEAN: Larry, it`s completely confidential ...

KING: It was discussed. PREJEAN: ... and you are being inappropriate.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: What`s your reaction to that?

TRUMP (through telephone): Well, I actually was watching. I`m a big fan of Larry King. And I was watching this and I was very surprised to see it because she was talking about how inappropriate he was.

Inappropriate is more of a sexual term as far as I`m concerned. I mean, inappropriate - he asked a very, very easy question.

ANDERSON: Yes.

TRUMP: And I was surprised that she just didn`t say, "Hey, listen. I can`t answer that question." She said she wants to walk off the stage. It was very surprising. It was really very strange to watch.

ANDERSON: Yes.

TRUMP: It`s too bad. I felt badly for her, actually.

ANDERSON: It was all very, very odd. And Donald, there are startling claims that former Miss California USA, of course, Carrie Prejean is make being how you run your beauty pageants. Here`s what she told CNN`s Larry King.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PREJEAN: You know, we were on stage and there was some women on the right and some women on the left. And there were some women who were devastated. They felt that they didn`t - that Donald Trump didn`t like them, that, you know, he didn`t look at them enough.

And am I portraying him as a horrible person? No. And Donald Trump is such a small part of my book. And people would like for me to get distracted by that and I`m not going to let that happen.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: In her book, Donald, she says, and I quote, "It became clear that the point of the whole exercise was for him to divide the room between the girls he personally found attractive and those he did not." Is that true?

TRUMP: It`s all very simple. First of all, it is not factual, but it`s all very simple. I happen to have very good taste when it comes to beauty, and I do pick people. However, with all of that being said, I shake hands with the girls. I`m nice to them. I`m nice to everybody.

And what I have in my mind, only I know about. And I have a yellow pad - although I have a great memory, I have a yellow pad. I write certain things down, but nobody sees that other than me.

Now, during the course of saying hello to people, I will jokingly say, who should win? And the girls will blurt out names, et cetera, et cetera. That`s all fun. The girls loved meeting me. I loved meeting them. And I don`t know what Carrie is talking about.

ANDERSON: So she just misinterpreted the situation?

TRUMP: Well, sadly, because, you know, I have a good heart and I`m nice to people. And you know, the pageants have become so successful not because I`m a bad person. And I`m really nice to people. It`s like I`ll go a step further. The ones that I know can`t win, I`m nicer to them.

ANDERSON: Right -

TRUMP: I actually go out of my way. I don`t say I feel sorry for, but I actually go out of my way to be nicer to the girls that I know can`t win.

ANDERSON: Yes. Make them feel comfortable. Well, you are a very, very friendly guy. And I want to ask you about this now, Donald, because Larry also asked Carrie about the comments you made about her regarding the sex tape.

You told "Extra" she is trying to act like a nun. Maybe she should release the tape and people would see whether or not she is a nun. Here`s what Carrie told CNN`s Larry King.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PREJEAN: I have so much respect for him. I think that he was thrown into the middle of this. And I really respect him as a businessman. And I know that at the end of the day, he has to listen to the people who he hired and who work for him. But I really wish he would have done a little bit more of an investigation on what really went on.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Donald, does that just make you angry because she is intimating here that you listen to what people tell you and you don`t have your facts straight. And also, 89 percent of our viewers say that Carrie, in over her head here. What do you say to all that?

TRUMP: Well, maybe she is in over her head. And frankly, I have very good executives that really have taken this pageant to new levels of success of popularity. And in all fairness, all of this publicity inures to the benefit of the pageant.

Now, as far as the sex tape, I guess Carrie was the one that told people about the sex tape. She openly admits there is a sex tape. Maybe she should reveal the sex tape to see whether or not it`s horrendous or whatever.

ANDERSON: Do you plan to sue Carrie for what she is saying about you?

TRUMP: No, because she has been very nice to me, actually. She was very nice to me in the book. I`ve always felt warm toward Carrie. I think she is a nice person. I don`t know who is leading her down this path, but it`s unfortunate. \

But no, I don`t plan to sue Carrie. I think she really has been very respectful of me. The only thing I didn`t like is what she said when I lined the girls up. I think Carrie really needs a little bit of guidance.

ANDERSON: Well, you know a good opportunity when you see it, Donald. As far as getting attention, publicity, do you think you would ever consider Carrie as a contestant on "The Celebrity Apprentice?" After all, people would watch for the fireworks.

TRUMP: Well, we have such great people. We are shooting right now. And the people we have are just incredible. So I don`t know. That will be for next season. We`ll have to see where is Carrie in the next season.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: A.J., I`ve got to say, Donald really surprised me because he was very forgiving of Carrie. And you know, I just think she is out of her mind for going after Donald Trump like this. It`s so unwise because this is a man who stood by her, who defended her.

HAMMER: Yes. With his arm around her at the press conference we all remember. Brooke, it really takes some nerve. I`m thinking that if Carrie ever even had any credibility, she`s completely lost it by now.

And now that Donald has told us exactly what he thinks about Carrie`s claims about him, I want to know who won this verbal smackdown. It`s the hot debate.

Tonight, in New York, Whitney Casey, who is a pop culture expert and author of "The Man Plan." From Hollywood tonight, Carlos Diaz, who is a correspondent for "Extra."

Quickly, Carlos, were you surprised by anything that Donald told us today? I mean, I thought some of the things he said were a little shocking as far as how forgiving he was.

DIAZ: You know, he is being very classy throughout this because I think the thing that he said in the interview which is most telling was, "We`ll have to see where Carrie is this time next year." We could not know who Carrie Prejean is next year.

HAMMER: Yes.

DIAZ: And I think Donald`s going around for so long. He said, "Why am I going to waste my time on the lightweight?" You know -

HAMMER: Exactly. Whitney, quickly. What surprised you about this interview?

CASEY: Well, I think it`s really quite entertaining that the bunny rabbit is always thinking that the anaconda is entertaining her. So the bunny rabbit here being Carrie Prejean and the anaconda being the nice and congenial Donald Trump.

HAMMER: All right. There you go.

CASEY: It is a smackdown he won. Done.

HAMMER: All right. Well, I`ll tell you what also shocked me today. The results that came in late today for our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day all about Carrie`s credibility. Carlos, Whitney, do not move. We are getting ready to reveal that in just a moment.

ANDERSON: It`s finally done. Oprah`s big interview with Sarah Palin. And today, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT got a first look.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WINFREY: Final question about Levi. Will he be invited to Thanksgiving dinner?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Wait until you hear how Sarah Palin answered that one. This is huge news. And there was some more Levi Johnston news today that I had a hard time believing when I heard it. Get this - Levi reveals his startling personal connection to Jon Gosselin.

Plus, Kanye gets his butt kicked.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

Kanye gets taken down by some of the biggest names in country music as they stand up for Taylor Swift on her amazing historic night. Go Taylor.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

TEXT: Martin Scorsese to get Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award at Golden Globes. Jon Gosselin countersuing TLC for bad contract and violating child labor laws.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KING: What`s your comment about Donald Trump`s involvement in all this?

PREJEAN: Oh, my god. I have so much respect for him. I think that he was thrown into the middle of this. And I really respect him as a businessman. And I know that at the end of the day, he has to look at the people who he hires and who work with him. But I really wish he would have done a little bit more of an investigation on what really went on.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: That`s Carrie Prejean on CNN`s "LARRY KING LIVE" saying Donald Trump should do his homework. Just moments ago, you heard my exclusive SHOWBIZ TONIGHT interview with the Donald reacting to Carrie Prejean.

He says Prejean is headed down the wrong path. So who won the smack down between the beauty and the Donald?

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson Hollywood with A.J. Hammer in New York.

Tonight, the beauty versus the Donald. I`ve got the absolutely unbelievable results of the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll just coming in late today. So what do you think? Was Carrie Prejean simply out of her mind for attacking the Donald?

And in another big breaking smackdown, Taylor Swift versus Kanye West. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there in Nashville when Taylor made history, becoming the youngest Entertainer of the Year ever at the Country Music Association Awards last night. But the buzz was all about the guy who wasn`t there, Kanye West. You have got to see the bashing Kanye got.

And also making big news today, Levi Johnston revealing his very personal connection to, of all people, Jon Gosselin.

Joining me in New York is Whitney Casey, who is a relationship expert and author of this book, "The Man Plan." Also tonight in Hollywood is Carlos Diaz who is a correspondent for "Extra."

OK. Whitney, Carlos, you saw my SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive interview with Donald Trump today talking about Carrie Prejean. And I can tell you that we just got the late-breaking results of the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll.

Take a look at this. We asked - "Carrie Prejean Versus Donald Trump: Is the former beauty queen in over her head?" Look at it. A stunning 91 percent said Carrie is in way over her head. Only 9 percent said she`s not.

You heard the Donald tell me that Prejean is getting some bad guidance. Carlos, did our poll get that right? Prejean will regret the day that she picked a fight with Donald?

DIAZ: Definitely. In fact, you know, I thought Larry King last night was extremely gracious and extremely classy when she was calling him inappropriate over and over again. I can guarantee you, Carrie, that the Donald - he`d fight a little tougher than that, you know. I mean, that`s the thing that she has to realize.

She can`t go at the Donald like she would at Larry and expect the same kind of class that Larry gave last night. The Donald will take the gloves off.

ANDERSON: Larry was very patient and really took the high road in that interview. And speaking of the Donald, he says he was particularly upset and disappointed after Carrie claimed that he divided pageant contestants by their looks.

Whitney, seems like Carrie tried to lock horns with the Donald. Did she fail miserably?

CASEY: Yes. You divide the contestants, left, right and then the one in the middle gets what? She gets the crown. I mean, I don`t understand what the controversy is here. It`s a beauty pageant.

And furthermore, I thought it was horrible that she said that he needed to do his homework, because if he actually did do his homework on her, he would have found those saucy pictures and that sex tape. So come on, maybe it`s a good thing. Ignorance is bliss, girl. Go with the blond.

(CROSSTALK)

ANDERSON: A.J. - I want to bring you back in here, A.J. Donald says he is not going to sue Carrie for the claims he made. Do you think Carrie maybe just watched my interview with Donald and is wiping the sweat off her brow? Because you know the Donald does not like sore losers.

HAMMER: I don`t know. Maybe. And Carlos, maybe you`re with me on this that they`re on the phone right now, saying, "Hey, this is going pretty well, isn`t it?" And no, I actually think - I think she is pretty relieved.

ANDERSON: He`s the train rolling.

HAMMER: You don`t want to get sued by Donald Trump. I think she`s got to be relieved.

Let me tell you, no sore losers at the Country Music Association Awards last night. Taylor Swift did great. She swept up all the big awards including Entertainer of the Year.

And of course, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there with Taylor. Of course, Kanye West was not there, but was very much on people`s minds because it seemed like everyone, including Taylor, was taking swipes at him for the way that he dissed her at the MTV Video Music Awards. Watch happened. This is great.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

(MUSIC PLAYING)

TAYLOR SWIFT, COUNTRY SUPERSTAR: And I want to thank every single person in this room tonight for not running up on the stage during this speech. Thank you.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. You go. Taylor told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT backstage a wave of emotion came over her when she won the Entertainer of the Year award. Carlos, this really is a no-brainer, right? I mean, Taylor has clearly put Kanye West in his place by now.

DIAZ: I think everyone rallied around Taylor Swift last night and, you know, really kind of brought her out. It was kind of uncomfortable because Kanye just lost his mom and to say, "Mamas, don`t let your babies grow up to be like Kanye" is like shh for a second.

But you know what though? The rest of it, I thought, was really great. And hopefully, Kanye sees this for what it was, which was one big joke, and now, we can move on from this.

HAMMER: Yes. Whitney, let me get your take on this. Because even though we know Taylor Swift is one of the sweetest people on the planet, I have to think that Taylor did love kicking Kanye or seeing Kanye get kicked around in her house last night.

CASEY: It was great. It was great and it was great for many reasons because of the phraseology that`s now come out that "you`ve been Kanye`d."

You know, well, now, I`m going back to the 2004 election with John Kerry. I`m saying now Kanye has been Taylor Swift-boated away. Bam.

HAMMER: Yes. There you go. Now, let`s move on to another story making some big news today. Levi Johnston - and for once, he is not slamming Sarah Palin. Instead - and I don`t know that this is any better - he is defending Jon Gosselin and is feeling a personal connection.

One train wreck to another. Levi said he`s met Jon Gosselin. Here`s what he told "People.com," "He`s a good guy. He`s kind of in the same situation I am right now. He`s a good dad and he gets a lot of bad press. He`s getting the same bad image I am and it isn`t true. I can relate to that."

Carlos, quickly, is Levi the last guy Jon Gosselin needs relating to him in public right now?

DIAZ: Yes. Levi Johnston is defending - I can just see Jon Gosselin today. Somebody told Jon Gosselin that somebody is defending him and he is like, "Really? Who? Levi Johnston? Great. That`s awesome."

And by the way, Levi Johnston today - today was the first day of his "Playgirl" photo shoot. So that`s more good news for Jon Gosselin.

HAMMER: All right. Good timing all around. Whitney Casey, Carlos Diaz, thanks, guys.

ANDERSON: Tonight, Oprah`s big interview with Sarah Palin. Today, we got our hands on the very first look of what went down. Wait until you hear what Oprah asks Palin about Levi Johnston and how she answered. It is really good stuff. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

It is time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - these are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom. They are making news right now.

TEXT: Legendary singer-songwriters Carole King and James Taylor to tour together. Former Hootie and the Blowfish singer Darius singer wins country music award. Darius Rucker is second African-American to win CMA; Charlie Pride won in 1971.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Tonight, we have your first look at Oprah`s big interview with Sarah Palin. They`re both talking about how the interview went. I`ll get to that in just a minute.

But first, you`ve got to see what happened when Oprah asked about Levi Johnston. We just got our hands on this today. Check this out.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WINFREY: So one final question about Levi. Will he be invited to Thanksgiving dinner?

(LAUGHTER)

FMR. GOV. SARAH PALIN (R-AK), FORMER VICE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: You know, that`s a great question. And it is lovely to think that he would even consider such a thing, because of course - he is a part of the family. We want to bring him in the fold and kind of under your wing.

And he needs that, too, Oprah. I think he needs to know that he is loved and he has the most beautiful child. And this can all work out for good. It really can. We don`t have to keep going down this road of controversy and drama all the time. We`re not really into the drama. We don`t really like that - we`re more productive. We have other things to concentrate on and do including ...

WINFREY: Does that mean he is coming or no, he is not?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I really can`t picture Levi Johnston passing the mashed potatoes in the Palin household on Thanksgiving dinner night. But that was just one of many topics that Oprah and Palin talked about. Oprah posted this video on her Web site right after the big interview. Take a look.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

Palin just left and it was really an interesting interview. You know, lots of people didn`t want me to have her on, lots of people did. Lots of her supporters didn`t think that she should come here, but she did.

And we talked about everything. We talked about inside the campaign, about what it felt like when she was first asked to be vice president, the candidate. We talked about Bristol, the pregnancy. We talked about Trig, her baby.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: And on Sarah Palin`s Facebook page, Palin is said that Oprah was very gracious during the interview. Oprah`s exclusive interview with Sarah Palin airs on Monday.

ANDERSON: We have been asking you to vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day, which is this - "Carrie Prejean Versus Donald Trump: Is the former beauty queen in over her head?" I just checked the results. Ninety-one percent of you say yes; a slim nine percent say no.

Some E-mails - Kyle from Alabama, "Carrie is way out of her league. You don`t mess with the Donald. I mean, he has hair that doesn`t move!"

Wendy from North Carolina writes, "I don`t think she is in over her head, providing she is telling the truth. It is for someone to put Donald Trump in his place."

HAMMER: And on a personal note, tonight, as you probably have heard, Lou Dobbs announced his departure from CNN last night after nearly 30 years with the network.

Lou, I`ve got to tell you, your support here has always meant a great deal to me. And I`ll definitely miss our daily chats. Of course, I wish you nothing but the best for whatever is next.

ANDERSON: I echo those sentiments, A.J. Lou has made an enormous impact on CNN and its viewers. I enjoyed being on his show from time to time. The guy loves entertainment. "24" is actually one of his favorite shows. Lou, all the best.

HAMMER: And that is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. We thank you so much for watching. I am A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: And I am Brooke in Hollywood. Remember, you can catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on the 11:00s - 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific, and in the morning at 11:00 a.m. Eastern right here on HLN. Take care.
