THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.

A.J. HAMMER, CO-HOST: Right now, on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, the brand-new Tiger Woods bombshell. One of the women who says she had an affair with Tiger now says she`s sorry. Jamie Grubbs apologizes to Tiger`s wife for allegedly sleeping with her husband for two years.

But will this only hurt Tiger and his wife even more? Plus, with Tiger in the middle of this hung scandal, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to dares to ask, do you feel sorry for him?

Brand-new Jon and Kate drama in court. Jon battling the network that used to air "Jon & Kate Plus 8." Plus, why Kate says the kids are absolutely devastated since the camera crews went away. Are you kidding me?

And Adam Lambert`s return to ABC on "The View." For first time, Adam is back on the network after his controversial performance at the American Music Awards. Tonight, why the fireworks flew when Adam sat down with the ladies of "The View."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ADAM LAMBERT, "AMERICAN IDOL" RUNNER-UP: It`s not a TV reality contest, singing competition anymore. It`s my career.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Hi there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson, coming to you tonight from Hollywood. And tonight, the Tiger apology shocker.

HAMMER: You know, Brooke, there is certainly no shortage of drama surrounding Tiger Woods. It seems like every day, a brand-new explosive development pops up and guess what? Today is no different.

ANDERSON: That`s right, A.J. Tonight, one of the women who says she had an affair with Tiger is all over TV, the Internet, the magazines just spilling her guts about this alleged romance.

Cocktail waitress Jamie Grubbs is not just revealing the steamy details of what she claims happened between Tiger and her. She`s also got a stunning message for Tiger`s wife. Are you ready for this? She says she`s sorry. No doubt this Tiger apology shocker made for big news breaking today.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over): Jamie Grubbs is sorry, so sorry.

JAMIE GRUBBS, ALLEGED MISTRESS OF TIGER WOODS: I have no words to explain, you know, what I have done to her, her family.

ANDERSON: Tiger Woods alleged mistress of 2 1/2 years tells "Extra" she feels really bad for Tiger`s wife. Want to hear the rest of her apology? Cue the violins.

GRUBBS: I guess I would be deeply sorry for never considering her during the whole process.

JO PIAZZA, CNN.COM CONTRIBUTOR: I think the fact that she`s apologizing now just falls a little bit short. And it shows that Jamie pretty much will do anything to keep her name in the press.

ANDERSON: Jamie is no strange stranger to drama or cheating. Watch Jamie as he acts her little heart out in the VH1 reality show, "Tool Academy," facing off with the girlfriend of a man she`s been sleeping with.

GRUBBS: He told me, like, you know, he broke up with you. You were a psycho. You didn`t want anything to do with (UNINTELLIGIBLE). You kept calling him -

(CROSSTALK)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I`m disgusted when he told me about you.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I want you to know there`s so much more detail about your sex life that`s it`s disgusting.

PIAZZA: Jamie is a girl that wants attention, that craves attention. And now, she`s doing absolutely everything she can to milk these five minutes of fame.

ANDERSON: Her five minutes of fame include constant hounding by TMZ, stories in all the tabloids and interviews - lots of interviews.

GRUBBS: I feel like I`m betrayed. I felt like, you know, he cared about me.

ANDERSON: In this dramatic and emotional interview with "Inside Edition," Jamie tells chief correspondent, Jim Moret, she is simply devastated to learn that Tiger reportedly had many mistresses. Cue that violin music again.

GRUBBS: It`s just hurtful. And like going through this, I understand why people see me as a bad person because this is what I did to his wife.

PIAZZA: I think she really believed she was the only one and that she was special. And once she found out she was one of many other women, Jamie got upset and decided to talk to the press.

ANDERSON: Jamie first made the headlines when she revealed this voicemail message supposedly of Tiger calling her and warning that his wife was onto their affair.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE (alleged to be Tiger Woods): Hey, it`s Tiger. I need you to do me a huge favor. Can you please take your name off your phone? My wife went through my phone and may be calling you.

ANDERSON: It`s hard to believe, the deception could have gone that far when you look at these touching photos of Tiger and his wife Elin as they lovingly welcome their newborn child. And it`s hard to believe Jamie`s next whopper of a claim to "Extra."

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Do you ever think, "My god. I`m with a man who has two babies and this can destroy their family"?

GRUBBS: I never - I guess I never took that in consideration as much as I should have.

ANDERSON: Tiger so far has remained silent about the voicemail and all of Jamie`s claims. And it remains to be seen if this blond bombshell and her bombshell could actually sink Tiger`s empire.

PIAZZA: We also have to remember that Tiger chose to do this. Tiger chose to sleep with Jamie Grubbs. So Tiger is Tiger`s own downfall. .

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: OK. So what does this apology mean for Tiger Woods and his wife? Does it just do more harm than good?

Joining me tonight from Atlanta, Vinnie Politan who is a host with "In Session." From Hollywood tonight, Tanika Ray, who is an entertainment journalist.

All right. So this woman, Jamie Grubbs, who is Tiger Woods` alleged mistress, is now apologizing to Tiger Woods` wife, Elin, after carrying on this affair with him for more than two years.

Tanika, are you thinking, the nerve of this woman. I mean, has she not done enough damage already?

TANIKA RAY, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST: I`m thinking so many things I don`t even know where to start yet. This is the apology we`ve been waiting for with bated breath. Who cares, Jamie? Get a life.

When it comes down to it, she`s begging for the attention. As soon as the "Us Weekly" story broke, she went out to, not the paparazzi hounding her. She went to where the paparazzi were so she can get her face on camera.

It`s just enough. And these television shows need to stop interviewing her, because it`s just propelling her fame and making her feel like she has even more to say, which obviously, she doesn`t. The only other woman is the full-blown oxymoron, chica. Get over it.

HAMMER: You heard it right there, Tanika Ray saying she doesn`t care. But do you think that Tiger`s wife even cares about this woman`s apology? You`ve got to wonder what Jamie Grubbs thought she was accomplishing by speaking out.

VINNIE POLITAN, HOST, "IN SESSION": Well, here`s the thing, though. She is speaking out. Who isn`t speaking out? Tiger Woods.

RAY: Exactly.

POLITAN: Give her some credit here. She`s doing more than Tiger is doing. She`s putting her face out there and she`s apologizing publicly to Mrs. Woods. And she didn`t think everything.

RAY: What does it mean?

POLITAN: She didn`t have the power in the relationship. She didn`t have the power. She`s a cocktail waitress. He`s a billionaire. Who do you think had the power in the relationship? Put the blame where the blame should be, one place and one place only, and that`s with Mr. Woods, if it took a place.

HAMMER: Yes. Well, a lot of people are certainly questioning why is this woman speaking out, why is she talking to everybody, why is she apologizing -

RAY: Fame, attention.

POLITAN: Why not? Why not?

HAMMER: But hey, separate from that, that being accepted that she`s done it, at least she attempted to appear contrite in her apology on "Extra." Let`s watch that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GRUBBS: I have no words to explain, you know, what I have done to her, her family. I guess I would be deeply sorry for never considering her during the whole process. I`m not going to ever say what I did was OK.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. At the very least, Jamie did admit that what she did to Tiger`s wife, Elin, will never be OK with her. Tanika, I want you to take a deep breath here. Do you think that she saved some face by saying that? Or is there just no face to be saved at this point?

RAY: There`s no face to be saved. When it comes down to it, she said - everybody knows who Tiger Woods is. She Googled him and then she kind of figured out he was married, but she kept it going.

And like you showed before, on "Tool Academy," she was involved with another guy that was a cheater. So it seems to be a pattern with her. You don`t get any points for apologizing after you get caught. That`s all I have to say about that. She needs to get over it.

HAMMER: All right.

POLITAN: There`s only one person married in the relationship and it wasn`t her. What did she get caught doing? It`s not your birth control. It`s him.

RAY: You`re right, but it`s not about what`s right and what`s wrong. What it`s really about is, get off the television. You win no points. You`re not going to get your own realty show because you cheated with a married man.

And that`s what`s despicable here - is she`s trying to win points for that and get the sympathy of America when nobody cares about her any way. There are 12 other girls in this story.

HAMMER: Get the sympathy of America and perhaps get some exposure right now. You should see what the writing on the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook page which exploded with comments today about this apology from Grubbs.

Here`s what Sarah D. writes saying, "Grubbs` apology is worthless. She knew that he was married with children and didn`t care. The only reason she was with Woods was to get what she could get out of him monetarily. And now that the affair is over, she`s looking to capitalize."

RAY: Absolutely!

HAMMER: "This is the greatest opportunity that`s ever come her way!"

RAY: Sarah D. -

HAMMER: Quickly, Vinnie. Do you -

POLITAN: You could say that about any woman that dates Tiger Woods. They`re just after - you could say that about his wife, but it`s not necessarily true. We don`t know what happened. Maybe she really liked him. Maybe he really liked her. Maybe he told her whatever she wanted to hear, you know.

HAMMER: Yes.

(CROSSTALK)

We`ll leave it there. Tiger is a player. Vinnie Politan, Tanika Ray, thanks, guys. I know you`ve got more to say, so please don`t go anywhere.

Coming up right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, the Tiger Woods scandal hits Congress? Yes, you heard me right. That`s coming up. Do not go anywhere.

Now, over to you. Here`s our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day - "Tiger Woods Scandal: Do you feel sorry for him?" Please let us know at CNN.com/ShowbizTonight or E-mail us at showbiztonight@cnn.com.

ANDERSON: Tonight, brand-new drama for Jon and Kate Gosselin as Jon battles the network that used to air their show. Kate says the kids are devastated it`s over.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KATE GOSSELIN, REALITY TV STAR, "JON & KATE PLUS 8": They`re asking, "Where`s the camera crew. We miss them." And I said, "Our show is over." And they - eight sobbing kids driving home from school.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Really? The kids miss the camera crew? Tonight, the brand-new Jon and Kate drama you have to hear for yourself.

Adam Lambert, back on ABC. The network canceled a bunch of his performances after a shocking performance at the American Music Awards. But he was back today on "The View." So did the fireworks fly?

We`ll also have this -

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JEANNE MOOS, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): We`ve all heard those stories of people seeing the shape of Jesus in a Cheeto, or the Virgin Mary in a grilled cheese. Holy cow. We`ve never come across the sign of the cross on a newborn calf.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Holy cow, indeed. Wait until you hear the story of crossing paths with crosses in the most utterly unlikely places. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

HAMMER: Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

TEXT: Lindsay Lohan in India to shoot documentary on human trafficking. Billboard names Taylor Swift and Kanye West top artists of the year.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Well, it looks like those White House gatecrashers are going to have to appear before Congress whether they like it or not. The House Homeland Security Committee has voted to subpoena the Tareq and Michaele Salahi who are accused of crashing the White House state dinner.

The Salahis may have to show up at the hearing on January 20th, but that doesn`t mean they necessarily are going to talk. Get this - they say they`ll take the Fifth Amendment.

When they were invited to voluntarily answer questions about how they got into the state dinner, the Salahis declined.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

ANDERSON: Did you see this? Holy cow! No, really, a holy cow. Moses, a calf born last week in Connecticut is getting a lot of attention for his unusual forehead marking, a cross.

The calf is now being called a sacred cow and its owners think the prominent cross marking is a symbol of hope.

Here`s CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

MOOS (voice-over): We`ve all heard those stories of people seeing the shape of Jesus in a Cheeto or the Virgin Mary in a grilled cheese. But holy cow. We`ve never come across the sign of the cross on a newborn calf.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It was quite an eye opener.

MOOS: Moses was born on a Connecticut farm December 1st. They`re trying to find a home for him where he won`t be eaten. The fairly religious owner is praying for desperate farmers to get higher milk prices and believes there maybe a sign in this divine bovine.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I think that he maybe here to open people`s eyes and maybe to get a message across.

MOOS: But if the idea of a sacred cow was something you question, meet Question Mark. Surely, he`s agnostic. We first met Question Mark more than a decade ago in an animal sanctuary in Westtown, New York.

(on camera): Does she have any other punctuation marks on her - periods or exclamation point?

(voice-over): No. But Mickey Moo here bore the likeness of Mickey Mouse on his flank and was acquired by Disney. He eventually died of natural causes, bless his soul. Right, Moses?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Isn`t he in love?

MOOS: And speaking of finding crosses where you don`t expect to -

MARTHA BOGGS, CREATOR, CHRIST-MAST TREES (through telephone): It does have a name. It`s called the Christ-mas Tree.

MOOS: Think of the Christ-mas Tree as a cross between a cross and a tree, only $399. "It`s not just a tree, it`s a movement," says the Web site selling them. Its Christian creator, Martha Boggs, got annoyed at references to holiday trees. She prefers -

BOGGS: Putting Christ back into Christmas. That`s actually our trademark.

MOOS: Joining others at war against the war on Christmas.

(MUSIC)

(on camera): The cross is sort of like the trunk.

BOGGS: The cross is the trunk.

MOOS: The artificial tree comes in pieces and is adjustable in height, just add or leave out sections of the cross. All of this symbolism is enough to leave you cross-eyed. Skeptics, hold your tongue.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: That was CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

HAMMER: So Brooke, the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines have just been inundated with people calling in about the Tiger Woods cheating scandal.

ANDERSON: That`s right. Yes. We`ve got a call into "Showbiz on Call" from Cathy in California who says she is completely disappointed in Tiger.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

CATHY, CALLER FROM CALIFORNIA: I just think that it`s really disgusting what he has done to everybody. He`s let everybody down - his fans, everybody. And he`s not - and everybody keeps calling it a mistake. It`s not a mistake. It`s choices he made on and on and on again. He`s just a very (UNINTELLIGIBLE) person.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Thanks for your call, Cathy.

HAMMER: We also heard from Robert calling into "Showbiz on Call" from California. And Robert says maybe everyone is giving Tiger too hard of a time.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

ROBERT, CALLER FROM CALIFORNIA: I don`t agree with what Tiger Woods did. I think what he did was wrong. However, he did, you know, man up to what he did and he admitted that what he did was wrong.

And I think that takes a lot of courage. And I don`t - you know, I think that, unfortunately, people won`t look at what he did as something that was positive. But hopefully, this would pass and they`ll see him as a golfer and not as a womanizer.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK, Robert. I don`t know if that`s going to happen. But remember, you can call the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines anytime. They are open all the time.

ANDERSON: Yes. Give us a ring - 1-888-SBT-BUZZ; that`s 1-888-728-2899. Leave a voicemail. We will play some of your calls right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

HAMMER: Tonight, Tiger`s alleged mistress breaks down on TV.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GRUBBS: Going through this, I understand why people see me as a bad person because this is what I did to his wife.

HAMMER: One of Tiger`s alleged mistresses crawls out of the woodwork for a tearful televised breakdown. Tonight, her shocking claim that Tiger lied to her, too.

Also, brand-new drama for Jon and Kate as Jon Gosselin battles the network that used to air "Jon & Kate Plus 8." Kate says the kids are absolutely devastated that the camera crews are gone. Are you kidding me here?

WILL SMITH, ACTOR: I was going to be the first African-American president.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What happened along the way?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: His wife said no.

(LAUGHTER)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith joking about why it isn`t President Will Smith. Tonight, Mr. and Mrs. Smith go to Norway.

Will and Jada were in Norway today to attend the ceremony where President Obama accepted the Nobel Peace Prize. And as you may know, the Smiths have quite a connection to the Obamas.

President Obama has said that if there was a movie about his life, he`d want Will to play him. In an interview with CNN, Will said that he wouldn`t necessarily want to be president, but he`d absolutely love to play President Obama in a movie. Take a look at this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

W. SMITH: Now, that - I can do that. Yes.

(CROSSTALK)

JADA PINKETT-SMITH, ACTRESS AND WIFE OF WILL SMITH: They have ears quite alike.

W. SMITH: That`s what it is. It`s like Americans historically have been attracted to the ears, you know. It`s like, Abraham Lincoln and -

J. SMITH: Oh, yes -

W. SMITH: Goofy, Mickey Mouse -

(CROSSTALK)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Is it a bad thing?

W. SMITH: I mean, it`s like the chicks don`t dig that.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Apparently, it`s all about the ears. Very interesting. Tomorrow, Will and Jada are hosting the Nobel Peace Prize concert. The concert is in Oslo and it`s going to feature performances including Wyclef Jean, Donna Summer and Toby Keith.

ANDERSON: And everybody is talking Tiger on the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook page. People really passionate here. Here are just few of the comments we got today.

Tina C. writes, "Tiger`s multimillion dollar meal ticket was cashing in on his good guy image. And now it is destroyed. He`ll still have followers, just not those who once loved him for his character."

Sally D. takes issue with the apology from Tiger`s alleged mistress, Jamie Grubbs. She writes, "She knew he was married with children and didn`t care. The only reason she was with Woods was to get what she could out of him monetarily. And now that the affair is over, she`s looking to capitalize."

Plus, more stories breaking from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker."

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson, coming to you tonight from Hollywood. And tonight, brand-new Tiger Woods bombshells. Tiger`s tale has taken yet another turn for the worse after one of his alleged mistresses claims Tiger lied to her.

HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. This is just ugly. The woman who claims that she was having an affair with Tiger for 31 months comes forward again. And I can tell you it is making for big news breaking today.

In a brand-new interview today, 24-year-old cocktail waitress, Jamie Grubbs, breaks down in tears, talking about her alleged relationship with Tiger Woods. Wait until you hear why she says Tiger deceived her and why she feels betrayed.

And brand-new reports say that Tiger and his wife, Elin, plan to leave the country together to fix their marriage. But should Elin take a page from another famous woman scorned who sent her man packing?

And Tiger`s big congressional dishonor. A congressman has dropped legislation to honor Tiger Woods and his barrier-breaking work in golf over Tiger`s transgressions. But is that just unfair to Tiger?

Joining me tonight is Jim Moret, the chief correspondent for "Inside Edition." Jim just sat down with Jamie Grubbs. Also tonight in Hollywood is Tanika Ray, who is an entertainment journalist.

So the Tiger Woods drama just heated up yet again today. Jamie Grubbs, one of Tiger Woods` alleged mistresses not only publicly apologized to Tiger`s wife, but today, she`s slamming Tiger for cheating on her. Are you kidding me?

Now, Jim Moret, you just spoke with Jamie for "Inside Edition" and she actually told you that she feels betrayed. Let`s watch what she said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JIM MORET, CHIEF CORRESPONDENT, "INSIDE EDITION": If he were here right now, you wouldn`t yell at him? You wouldn`t say, "Why did you do this to me?"

GRUBBS: I would - you know, I wouldn`t yell. I would just express that I`m hurt, like - you know, I feel like I`m betrayed. I felt like, you know, he cared about me. And I felt that, you know, all of these other women - it`s just hurtful.

And like going through this, I understand like why people see me as a bad person because this is what I did to his wife.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. This is the same woman who claims - hold on a second here.

RAY: I`m sorry.

HAMMER: This woman claims that she has been involved with Tiger for over two years. Now, Jim, at the risk of repeating myself, are you kidding me? I mean, you sat there with her. How does she justify feeling betrayed when she was allegedly having an affair with a married man?

MORET: Well, first of all, Tanika, you shouldn`t laugh. She was crying, OK?

RAY: Jim, I love you. And you get even more respect for keeping a straight face, man. That was brilliant.

MORET: And maybe - you know, maybe it`s because I`m a guy and maybe it`s because I have two daughters. But when a woman cries - look, I believed a lot of what she said. I think she was very naive.

RAY: OK.

MORET: Wait, wait, Tanika. I know you`re going to jump in. She claims, believe it or not, that she did not know that Tiger Woods, one of the most famous athletes in the world, was married.

RAY: Yes. Right.

MORET: Now, I could give that to her. Fine. Maybe she didn`t. She was only 21 when she met him - extraordinarily naive. But more importantly, I don`t think she wanted to know that he was married and she fell for him.

Do I believe she was hurt? Look, she was very nervous sitting down for this interview. And she does not like being vilified and being called the home wrecker, the gold digger. And I really believe those tears were real.

HAMMER: No, I don`t doubt that they are real. And Jim, you know, actually, I was right there for a moment with you. I hated seeing any woman cry. Do you at all buy that she didn`t know about Tiger`s wife?

MORET: She found out a year into the relationship. And by then, she didn`t want to know because Tiger kept sending her text messages saying, "I love you. You`re the only one." She feels betrayed just like these other women because she didn`t know about the other women.

RAY: She needs to take responsibility.

MORET: Yes, I agree.

RAY: When a man is married, all of the rules are off. He can do whatever he wants. As far as when he says he`s dating you and you assume you`re the only other mistress, you can`t hold him to any standard.

He`s cheating on his wife. You have no say in whether or not he`s going to cheat with one, 25 - it doesn`t matter. You`re doing something wrong.

MORET: Right.

RAY: And yes, she wasn`t the one that was married. But still, she is partly responsible for him leaving his wife and cheating on her - one- twelfth responsibility, actually, or maybe there`s more. We`ll have to see.

But for her to act like - poor her and - oh, my god. It`s so hard and her wiping away an invisible tear, I just cannot feel that much sympathy for her. And if she was Elin and she`s crying - yes, my heart is aching for Elin right now because she had no idea.

Her husband, the father of her two kids, was stepping out on her in such a disgusting manner. And I love Tiger, but this right here during the Christmas holidays, is the saddest Christmas holiday and ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho.

HAMMER: OK. All right. Now, listen. However many women allegedly were involved with Tiger Woods, you know, this woman, Jamie Grubbs, reportedly or she says she did not know about them, listen to what she told "Inside Edition" about how the news of all of these other women affected her. Roll that, Charles.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MORET: Did you know anything about any of these other women?

GRUBBS: I had briefly, at times, asked if there were other women. And -

MORET: What did he say?

GRUBBS: He would always say, "I didn`t have time." He`s like, "I don`t have time for that. I`m too busy." And you know, I just left it at that. I didn`t pry and, you know, that`s a good feeling to think that, you know, he`s making you believe you are the only woman.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. She says that Tiger made her feel like she was the only one. And I`m thinking, are you serious here?

RAY: The only other woman.

HAMMER: Let me ask you this, Jim, because you were sitting there across from her, and you used the naive woman before. Do you think she`s naive or do you think that maybe Tiger was just that good at lying to her?

MORET: I think maybe both. I think - look, Tanika`s right. This woman is also responsible and she took responsibility, and on camera, apologized to Tiger`s wife. She knows that what she did was wrong. She knows what she did was hurtful. But she did it any way.

Was she naive? Yes. Look, she was 21 when she met him. And she was probably looking at this guy, thinking, "He`s rich and powerful and he`s paying attention to me." It was foolish and she admits that. It was a huge mistake and now, she`s paying for it.

HAMMER: Well, I think a lot of people are obviously thinking about Tiger`s wife, Elin, right now, wondering if she`s going to stay by Tiger`s side or if she`s going to leave him.

Now, she might want to hear the brand-new interview of another famous woman scorned. You remember Gov. Mark Sanford, right? He`s the guy who lied about hiking the Appalachian Trail while he was cheating on his wife.

Well, his wife, Jenny, was just selected as one of Barbara Walter`s most fascinating people and told Barbara there was no way that she was sticking around. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BARBARA WALTERS, HOST, "10 MOST FASCINATING PEOPLE": When your husband gave his press conference, did he ask you to stand by his side?

JENNY SANFORD, WIFE OF GOV. MARK SANFORD: No, he didn`t.

WALTERS: And you didn`t want to?

SANFORD: No, I wouldn`t have. Definitely, I would have said no.

WALTERS: It is very important to you not to be seen as a victim.

SANFORD: Well, certainly, his actions hurt me and they caused consequences for me. But they don`t, in any way, take away my own self-esteem. They reflect poorly on him.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. So she told her cheating husband to hit the road and doesn`t blame herself at all. And Brooke, I`m thinking that those are words Tiger`s wife should be paying close attention to right now.

ANDERSON: Yes. Listen, Jenny Sanford sounds like a very wise woman. But if what everybody says about Elin is true, she is going to be fine. She is said to be a very strong, smart, tough cookie.

And she`s going to handle this however she`s most comfortable handling it, whether in the future to stand by Tiger during an interview or a presser, or leave him high and dry which is what I think he deserves.

But on top of her priority - she has her children to consider in all of her decisions and how the actions are going to impact them. I feel for her in every regard in this situation.

HAMMER: All right. I agree with you, Brooke. And we`re going to end it there. Thank you very much, Jim Moret and Tanika Ray, I appreciate you joining us tonight.

ANDERSON: Kate Gosselin`s startling revelations about her eight kids and their new life without cameras following their every move.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

K. GOSSELIN: They kept asking, "Where`s the camera crew? We miss them." And I said, "Our show is over." And they - eight sobbing kids driving home from school.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: The Gosselin kids are crying, but their dad may be about to shed a tear or two himself. Tonight, Jon Gosselin`s new court smackdown with his former network bosses at TLC.

Adam Lambert`s return to ABC on "The View." For first time, Adam back on ABC after his too-hot-for-TV performance at the American Music Awards. Oh, I wonder what he had up his sleeve for ladies of "The View."

Plus, Kanye`s big diss for dissing Taylor Swift at the VMAs. It was a moment that no one will ever forget. But now, Kanye`s got a title that I`m sure will stick around just as long. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

HAMMER: Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

TEXT: Man portrayed as "terrorist" in move "Bruno" sues film`s star Sacha Baron Cohen for $110 million. David Hasselhoff`s ex, Pamela Bach, charged with DUI after arrest last month.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Tonight, brand-new Jon and Kate drama.

ANDERSON: A.J., the war over "Jon & Kate Plus 8" isn`t over yet. Just in today, Jon Gosselin`s new battle with TLC goes to court. So why is Jon still at it with the network that made him famous? And get this, Jon didn`t even show up for his big court date.

Also in today, Kate`s stunning revelation that the kids are just devastated. But why?

Jon and Kate aren`t the only ones making big news tonight. Today, Adam Lambert returns to ABC. Today, Adam Lambert appeared on ABC`s "The View", his first performance on the network since that controversial racy display on the American Music Awards. So did Adam redeem himself or relight the fire?

Joining me tonight in New York, Steven Smith, who is a music and pop culture expert. And in Hollywood tonight, Melanie Bromley, who is the west coast bureau chief for "Us Weekly."

Steven, Melanie, let`s start with Jon and Kate`s new drama. Jon Gosselin scheduled a face-off in court today against his former employer, TLC. The network says Gosselin violated his contract by making appearances on other shows.

Jon, of course shot back, countersuing TLC, accusing the network of violating child labor laws. Steven, here`s my question. Could you have ever imagined that this battle would have gone this far, dragged on this long? To me it`s gotten to the point of absurdity.

STEVEN SMITH, POP CULTURE AND MUSIC EXPERT: Yes. It has gotten way, way redundant, the fact that these people are still clawing on to whatever pop culture significance they think they have. It just shocks me he didn`t show up in the courtroom because he figured there`s probably cameras there, too. And he loves to be on them.

I have no idea why it`s still going through and why he countersued them for child labor laws since he, in effect, kind of is the children`s proprietor.

ANDERSON: Yes. Seems a little bit hypocritical. But hey, everybody has the right to change their mind. I suppose one of the latest chapters in the Jon and Kate drama has people on our Facebook page really fired up.

Jennifer G. writes on our wall - this is to your point, Steven, "It`s funny how Jon is suing but wasn`t worrying about child labor laws when he was getting paid. He`s such a loser and I hope he gets what`s coming to him. Grow up, Jon and get a real job."

Jennifer does bring up a great point. If you ask me, Jon`s priorities still seem out of whack. Melanie, what do you think it will take for Jon Gosselin to just settle this dispute already, put his focus back on the family?

MELANIE BROMLEY, WEST COAST BUREAU CHIEF, "US WEEKLY": I think Jon would love to settle this dispute. This is absolutely incredibly embarrassing for him today in court. One of exhibits was a picture of him with bikini clad girls.

This is something that he doesn`t want out there. And also, while this is happening, he`s also not being paid. You know, sources have told "Us Weekly" that he can`t even pay his bills at the moment. He`s having huge problems.

So Jon would love this to go away. He would love it to go away so he could go back to earning money, selling interviews to TV shows and magazines and opening nightclubs in Vegas. Whatever it is, he has to pay the bill. I think Jon would do it right now.

ANDERSON: Well, he is trying to quiet his critics by saying that he is focused on his kids and that`s why he pulled the plug on the show in the first place. Well, last night, his ex, Kate Gosselin, appeared as one of Barbara Walters` most fascinating people. She told Barbara that the kids are still devastated that the show is over. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

K. GOSSELIN: They cried in the van on the way home from school the other day. I finally admitted to them - they kept asking, "Where`s the camera crew? We miss them." And I said, "Our show is over." And they - eight sobbing kids driving home from school.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Clearly, these children going through a whole lot right now. So Steven, shouldn`t Kate consider this maybe a blessing that they don`t have cameras following them around? Is Kate missing the point here?

S. SMITH: I don`t know. It sounds like eight other father figures walking around with booms and mike stands. The kids probably needed that. I find it very, very odd that most kids nowadays are just, you know, hoping for their parents to maybe, you know, get a job for Christmas. The recession is so hard.

And here she is, just sobbing to death that, "I had to tell the children the show was, indeed, over." I remember when I told my kids that, it was devastating.

ANDERSON: Devastating. Well, late tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT got word that Jon Gosselin lost this round with TLC.

A network rep tells us, "We are pleased with the court`s ruling today. The court has validated our view that Mr. Gosselin has a valid, binding contract and that he has breached it repeatedly. Any further breaches going forward will be violations of a court order. We look forward to the next phase of the litigation, which is to pursue our claim for damages resulting from Mr. Gosselin`s numerous breaches."

Another story just in today, Adam Lambert`s pre-taped appearance on "The View" today. Now, Barbara Walters explained they taped this segment in advance after ABC had canceled three - count them - three of Lambert`s performances due to the uproar that he caused with that sexually-charged act of his on the AMAs.

Just this morning, when Lambert he sat down to talk with the ladies of "The View," he made no excuses still for his controversial performance. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LAMBERT: This is exciting. This is my career. This is music and it`s original now. It`s not a TV reality contest, singing competition anymore. It`s my career.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: It is his career. He`s right about that. But Melanie, do you think that Adam is doing the right thing here by standing by that performance and telling people, "Hey, this is what you`re going to see from me from now on as a performer"?

BROMLEY: Honestly, I do. I think, actually, he`s been incredibly graceful about this whole situation. He has admitted he got carried away.

ANDERSON: What?

BROMLEY: And admitted that, you know, he got carried away with his performance. But at the end of the day, this is what pop stars do. They do controversial things. And while I think if he could turn back time, he maybe wouldn`t have gone so far.

I think we have to accept, this isn`t a controlled reality TV star any more. This is a pop star. Look at Madonna. Look at Lady Gaga. These people do these things. This is what pop stars do. He`s not Brad Pitt.

ANDERSON: Well, he is a rookie, though. And I think he`s risking alienating a lot of his fans who loved him - a lot of young fans who loved him from "American Idol." But hey, that is his choice. Steven Smith and Melanie Bromley, thank you both.

HAMMER: Tonight, Kanye, the king of failure? Rapper Kanye West has just won the devious distinction of becoming this year`s king of fail. That`s for trampling all over Taylor Swift`s winning moment at the MTV Video Music Awards.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KANYE WEST, SINGER: Yo, Taylor. I`m really happy for you. I`m going to let you finish. But Beyonce has one of the best videos of all time.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes, yes, yes. Well, the Web site, "FailBlog.com" asked fans to vote on the most blatantly stupid moves by celebrities this year, and Kanye came out on top. Or is it the bottom? Anyway, I totally agree with them.

In the number-two spot, Jon Gosselin who, of course, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT just named as the most provocative celebrity of the year.

ANDERSON: Tonight, was Levi Johnston`s racy "Playgirl" spread a big bust? We`re searching for the naked truth about the controversial pictorial that made Levi several thousand dollars richer. But was it a huge waste of money for the online magazine? We`re getting to the bottom of this one. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

TEXT: Judge to rule next month on whether or not MJ`s dad will get money from son`s estate. Oprah Winfrey`s network to feature monthly documentary showcase.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Did you see this? An Ohio family fawning all over their a pet deer. The family adopted Dilly the Deer after nursing her back from the brink of death. Well, now, she`s a part of the family, sleeping with them and eating with them, including her favorite ice cream with coffee and Sweet `N Low.

Dilly happens to be potty-trained, by the way. And I`m thinking now I`m not going to be able to get that image out of my head for days. Thank you so much.

Well, speaking of disturbing images, was Levi Johnston`s nude photo shoot for "Playgirl.com" a total bust?

According to "PopEater.com," not enough people signed up on the site for the $19.95 fee to see Levi take it almost all off to cover the reported $150,000 he got to pose.

The folks over at "Playgirl" wouldn`t confirm how much they paid Levi but they did say they got their money`s worth from Levi and more.

Here`s what "Playgirl" told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "We were overjoyed at the amount of people who signed up for `Playgirl.com.` And in the first two hours of Levi`s footage being uploaded, we had surpassed all record for signups for an entire day."

HAMMER: Good for them. Tonight, Regis Philbin is speaking out for the first time since having hip surgery. The 78-year-old co-host of "Live with Regis and Kelly" says he`s feeling just fine after going under the knife.

He called in to his morning show today with a big update. Now, Reg got a new hip, but his old funny bone`s working just fine. Regis told Kelly Ripa and fill-in host, "Survivor`s" Jeff Probst, that he`s following doctor`s orders, walking around to get that hip in gear.

He`s walking around the house and up and down the halls at his New York City apartment building. But all of that walking sometimes made for some awkward moments with his famous neighbors. Take a look.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KELLY RIPA, CO-HOST, "LIVE WITH REGIS AND KELLY": Have you been walking around? I heard you took nine laps around your living room the other day.

REGIS PHILBIN, CO-HOST, "LIVE WITH REGIS AND KELLY" (through telephone): The trick is to keep walking. And so you walk, you walk, you walk. And then, one day, I`m down there - in fact, it was yesterday. The elevator door opens down there and out comes Alan and Arlene Alda.

RIPA: Right.

PHILBIN: And they want to talk to me.

RIPA: Right. Were you in your jammies?

PHILBIN: No. I wasn`t in my jimmies, no. But -

RIPA: So you were nude?

PHILBIN: Arlene should get so lucky.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. And Regis should be back on TV and fully clothed, we assume, next month.

ANDERSON: On Wednesday, we asked you to vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. Moments ago, we got the final results. We asked, "Saving Tiger Woods: Is his image beyond repair?" Take a look. Pretty close here - 53 percent of you say yes, it is; 47 percent say no, it`s not.

Here are some of the E-mails we received. Jo from Texas says, "I only started watching golf because of Tiger. I guess I will not be watching anymore. He should have had more respect for himself and his family."

Linda from Toronto, Canada, "He`s just a man. He is not perfect. He didn`t commit a crime. Leave him alone, people." We do appreciate your E- mails.

HAMMER: And we appreciate you checking in with us tonight. That is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. You can catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on the 11:00s - 11:00 p.m. Eastern, 11:00 p.m. Pacific, and in the morning, that`s at 11:00 a.m. Eastern on HLN. Take care.
