Plus, Jennifer Aniston, love guru? Jen`s startling claims about why she says lots of women have the recipe for love all wrong.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Hi there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson coming to you tonight from Hollywood. And this is a special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Love and Heartache in Hollywood."

So many high-profile marriages and so many nasty bitter divorces. Tonight, we`re taking you on a rollercoaster ride of the love struck, the heart broken and the toxic. We start with some of the most toxic men in Hollywood because tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is naming the most toxic bachelors ever.

I`m talking about those love-them-and-leave-them single men in Hollywood who seem to have a different woman on their arm every week - Jon Gosselin, Levi Johnston - the list goes on and on. They are just a few of the many men SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is naming the top toxic bachelors in Hollywood.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over): Careful, ladies. They may look handsome and sweet, but these men are toxic. Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is rating the most toxic bachelors in Hollywood. So who is the most toxic bachelor of them all?

We start with a classic Hollywood bachelor, musician, John Mayer.

BEN WIDDICOMBE, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST: He has one of the most successful reputations in Hollywood as a ladies` man.

ANDERSON: It seems John Mayer`s second career after a fabulous musician is heartbreaker. From Jennifer Love Hewitt to Jessica Simpson to Jennifer Aniston, this guy`s a major wooer.

PIAZZA: There was the big thing where he famously talked about Jennifer Aniston and his relationship with TMZ, talked about their breakup.

JOHN MAYER, MUSICIAN: Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I`ve ever met. I ended the relationship to be alone because I don`t want to waste somebody`s time if something is not right.

ANDERSON: Gabbing about a public breakup? Bad move, John. And so, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT declares John Mayer`s toxic bachelor rating a mighty three broken hearts out of five.

John, if you want to improve your record, keep your mouth shut. And come to think of it, so should another Hollywood bachelor, the one and only Levi Johnston.

He is the father of Sarah Palin`s grandson, the ex-fiance of Bristol Palin and a hunka- hunka burning love - that is until he opens his mouth.

LEVI JOHNSTON, EX-FIANCE OF BRISTOL PALIN: I think all teens or most of them are sexually active. So I mean -

PIAZZA: Levi Johnston - I like to call him the toxic bachelor that will do absolutely anything for money.

ANDERSON: Aside from scores of TV interviews, there is a shirtless photo spread with his naked son in "GQ" and an interesting commercial selling pistachio nuts -

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Now, Levi Johnston does it with protection.

ANDERSON: So how does Levi stack up on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s toxic bachelor reader?

PIAZZA: Levi Johnston, just because he is so toxic, I am giving him four toxic hearts.

ANDERSON: And if you want to talk toxic, you`ve got to talk Bobby Brown. His ex-wife Whitney Houston revealed bombshell after bombshell of his outrageous behavior while they were married.

WHITNEY HOUSTON, SINGER: He`d spit on me. He`d actually spit on me.

ANDERSON: And now that he is divorced, ladies, he is eligible.

WIDDICOMBE: So Bobby really began to look like a pretty terrible husband. However, he at least took the high road. He spoke to the media himself and he did not lash out on Whitney. So to his credit, he at least did not make it worse.

ANDERSON: So how does Bobby Brown rate on the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT toxic bachelor scale?

PIAZZA: Since he has not been that big of a bachelor this year, he is probably getting two toxic bachelor hearts.

ANDERSON: And now, for the biggest toxic bachelor of them all, relatively new to single life, this man has been wreaking havoc one lady at a time. So who is this masked man?

PIAZZA: The most toxic bachelor of 2009 has to be Jon Gosselin, mainly because he was going out and gallivanting with pretty much with anything with (EXPLETIVE DELETED).

ANDERSON: Aside from his soul mate, 22-year-old Hailey Glassman, who now claims Jon is emotionally abusive, Jon has also has been connected to his babysitter, some questionable types in Vegas, and former "Star" magazine reporter, Kate Major. She told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT in an exclusive interview that Jon is a major player.

KATE MAJOR, FORMER REPORTER, "STAR" MAGAZINE: And we held hands and kissed in a car. And this was all.

HAMMER (on camera): It was on the first night?

MAJOR: Yes.

HAMMER: You kissed on the first night?

MAJOR: Unfortunately, yes.

ANDERSON: Jon has to do something to fix his tarnished reputation and fast. But until that day happens, Jon Gosselin is officially named the most toxic bachelor of them all. Jon, you get five broken hearts out of five. Congrats.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: So, did we get it right? Is Jon Gosselin the most toxic bachelor of all time?

Right now, in New York, Suzanne Rozdeba who is a senior editor for "Star" magazine. And in Hollywood, Kim Serafin, who is a senior editor for "In Touch Weekly."

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(on camera): Let`s get right to it. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is naming Jon Gosselin the most toxic bachelor. But Jon has been teaming up with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, claiming he`s a reformed man who is now moral, working to get on more civil terms with his soon-to-be ex-wife, Kate. Suzanne, are you buying it? Or once a toxic bachelor, always a toxic bachelor?

SUZANNE ROZDEBA, SENIOR EDITOR, "STAR" MAGAZINE: I am so not buying this. I mean, he is obviously being on his best behavior because he`s got something called finalizing a divorce coming up. And he`s got a custody battle, so he is trying to be really good lately.

He is even releasing statements saying that he misses part of Kate and he made mistakes, and you know, he is an adult now. But the thing is, is that once a bachelor always a bachelor. Jon is still going to have his little flings. They are going to be a little bit quieter.

But it`s still going to happen. And he broke Hailey Glassman`s heart. He told her to her face, over and over, that he didn`t have his other flings on the side. Jon is the number one toxic bachelor.

ANDERSON: He certainly does seem to love the playboy lifestyle. And we`ve got some pretty - some other pretty on-target votes for most toxic bachelor.

Holly H. writes on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook wall, "Jude Law! He is always cheating on his woman. He is cute though! LOL!"

Hey, Holly`s got a point there. He was caught cheating on his wife with the nanny and his very brief girlfriend has given birth to their child. Kim, what do you say? How does Jude stack up against the other toxic bachelors?

KIM SERAFIN, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": Yes. I mean, of course, I would be very worried about dating him. He doesn`t seem to be able to be faithful to the women that he`s with. But you know, he is good-looking. He`s a good actor.

And you know, he`s up there with John Mayer - same thing, you know. You know what you`re getting with John Mayer. He is a player, but he looks like he`s a lot of fun. So you kind of walk into it and knowing what you`re getting.

ANDERSON: Yes, you have to be very careful with those types.

(CROSSTALK)

SERAFIN: Yes. John Mayer, if he`s listening, he can call me. So that`s fine.

ANDERSON: You will be prepared. OK. Well, Sherry M. writes on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook wall, "Chris Brown! You guys, he`s oozing toxins!" Amen, Sherry. I agree with you. After admitting to beating up Rihanna, Suzanne, I think it`s safe to say Chris Brown is a toxic bachelor. What do you say?

ROZDEBA: Absolutely. You know what`s the most annoying thing about him? Rihanna starts releasing things about her album, about how excited she is. She`s doing all this new work. Chris Brown has to come out, stomp all over her parade, do the same thing, start promoting his album.

I mean, this is a guy who, you know, issued this faux apology. And you know, it`s just trying to rebuild his public image and it just really isn`t working.

ANDERSON: You know, I agree with you. Time will tell with that one. Interestingly, many people wrote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook wall that both George Clooney and Gerard Butler should be called toxic bachelors.

But Mary J. is having none of it. She writes, "Toxic is the keyword here. George Clooney - not toxic. Gerard Butler - not toxic. Jon Gosselin - very toxic."

Kim, very quickly. Is it fair to crown Jon Gosselin the most toxic bachelor of them all?

SERAFIN: Yes, exactly. Again, George Clooney, a little bit of a player, but Gosselin - if you`ve dated him, you would never know who is showing up at your door. Would it be Jon Gosselin in Ed Hardy with BFF Michael Lohan? Would it be Jon Gosselin with octumom? Would it be Jon Gosselin with the spiritual adviser? You`ll never know.

ANDERSON: You never know. He does seem like a real womanizer these days. Suzanne Rozdeba and Kim Serafin, thank you both. Good to see you, ladies.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Well, it certainly has been a tough year for love in Hollywood, maybe most notably the hell that Rihanna went through when Chris Brown beat her.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RIHANNA, POP STAR: And I`ll say that to any young girl who is going through domestic violence, don`t react off of love. F love.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: But Rihanna and Chris are certainly not the only ones who have had a rough year. There, of course, is Hulk and Linda Hogan. And don`t forget Jon and Kate. Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT names the worst case of love and heartache in 2009.

Jennifer Aniston, love guru? Well, she has been called unlucky in love herself. Now, why Jen says most women have the recipe for love all wrong.

And the outrageous inside story of the guy who stood up in a crowded room. He stripped down and he asked George Clooney for a kiss. Wait until you hear what George said. This is special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Love and Heartache in Hollywood," on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to this special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Love and Heartache in Hollywood." I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

Tonight, the other woman. Divorce of course is never easy. But imagine going through it in public after your husband leaves you for Tori Spelling.

Well, that`s exactly what Mary Jo Eustace faced more than years ago when Dean McDermott dumped her for Tori. Mary Jo speaks about it in her book, "Divorce Sucks."

And on "Good Morning America," she talked about the day that she learned the bad news in a hotel room with her newborn baby.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MARY JO EUSTACE, AUTHOR, "DIVORCE SUCKS": I was feeding my daughter in the hotel room. And he came back from his golf game and he seemed a bit tense. I thought, you know, maybe he had a bad score or something. I wasn`t exactly sure what it was.

But my intuition said something was a bit off. And I said, "What`s up? You`ve been acting weird in the last couple of days. Have you met somebody?" And he said, "Yes." And I said, "Is it Tori Spelling?" Because they had just done this movie together.

And he said, "Yes." And I said, "Did you sleep with her?" And he said yes. He said, "She`s my soul mate. She loves me unconditionally." And I said, "What conditions? You`ve known each other two and a half weeks."

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Wow. Mary Jo also has some advice for women and number one on her list is, don`t marry an actor.

ANDERSON: Of course, not all Hollywood guys are like that. If we`re talking love, we`ve got to talk about some of the hottest, hunkiest men in Hollywood women love. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT teamed up to name the top men over 40 who had their act together or at the top of their game and women love them.

I`m talking stars like the hunky Daniel Craig and hilarious Steve Carell. They`re only getting better as they get older. Tonight, our exclusive look at those hunky men over 40 whom women love.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice over): They`re sexy, successful and they`re all over 40. I`m talking about "More" magazine`s pick for the top 10 men women love over 40. Oh, my.

LESLEY JANE SEYMOUR, EDITOR-IN-CHIEF, "MORE" MAGAZINE: I think what women love about men over 40. They`ve lived a little. And I think there is something charming and something really appealing about a man who has something deeper to offer.

ANDERSON: We start with George Clooney. Ever the wooer, George Clooney typifies the Hollywood bachelor that will pretty much make any woman melt.

SEYMOUR: He is hot. He`s still hot. Wonderful actor.

ANDERSON: The same can be said of "Grey`s Anatomy" star, Patrick Dempsey. You can`t deny it. This man earned his nickname, McDreamy. The dimples, the wavy hair - who would have thought this awkward teen from the `80s movie "Can`t Buy Me Love" would grow up to be this guy?

SEYMOUR: He is kind of charming and funny and sweet. And I think that`s what comes across.

ANDERSON: And what comes across in SHOWBIZ TONIGHT and "More" magazine`s next pick is the smile. Oh, that smile. We`re talking about the strong, sexy, silent Denzel Washington. He`s been on the big screen for years and he has yet to disappoint.

DENZEL WASHINGTON, ACTOR: I don`t choose films. They choose me usually.

ANDERSON: Well, Denzel, we chose you as one of "More" magazine`s top men women love over 40.

"More" magazine also put Clive Owen on that list. His latest movie, "The International," showed off his rugged good looks, piercing eyes and an accent that makes women swoon.

But his co-star, Naomi Watts tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Clive has no idea he is so sexy.

NAOMI WATTS, ACTRESS: What makes him attractive is that he doesn`t have an awareness of his looks, and in a really authentic way.

ANDERSON: When Clive found out we named him one of the 10 men over 40 women love, he was humble. He told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT he`s loving his 40s.

CLIVE OWEN, ACTOR: The 40s for me have been, you know, beyond my wildest dreams that I could have hoped for 20 years ago or whatever. So you know, I am having the best time of my life at the moment.

ANDERSON: Another heartbreaker having the time of his life, the king of reinvention, Robert Downey, Jr.

ROBERT DOWNEY, JR. ACTOR: I was acting!

ANDERSON: Oh yes, he`s an actor and a bad boy who we have watched grow up. We have known him through a gamut of great `80s movies, tough times with drugs and the slammer, and now, a big comeback with "Iron Man" and "Tropic Thunder," a movie that got him an Oscar nomination.

DOWNEY: There is no way I could have read the script and said "It`s Oscar time."

ANDERSON: And now, it`s funny time. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT and "More" magazine calls comedian Ricky Gervais one of the 10 men over 40 women love.

RICKY GERVAIS, COMEDIAN AND WRITER, "THE OFFICE": Really?

ANDERSON: He`s the hilarious comedian and a writer for the hit show "The Office."

SEYMOUR: He`s the new Robin Williams as far as I`m concerned.

ANDERSON: We`re redefining Gervais from funny man to sex symbol.

GERVAIS: It`s not working, is it? Should I just do a song?

ANDERSON: Let`s hold off on that for right now and move to another "More" magazine favorite, comedian Steve Carell.

SEYMOUR: I love Steve Carell and I think, you know, in the last few years, he has really made his mark.

ANDERSON: He`s at the top of his game. And not only does he do great comedy, like "40-Year-Old Virgin," but he`s also proven he`s got a real knack for drama like his role in "Little Miss Sunshine."

STEVE CARELL, ACTOR: Oh, how about that?

ANDERSON: If there is an actor over 40 out there who knows a thing or two about crossing from comedy into drama, it is Will Smith. He drives female fans of all ages to scream. It`s hard to believe Smith is over 40. Remember him during his years on the "Fresh Prince of Bel Air."

WILL SMITH, ACTOR: What are you, robo-butler?

ANDERSON: Since then, he`s established himself as a true blooded, two-time Oscar-nominated actor with a long, beautiful career ahead of him.

But if you are looking for an international man of mystery, how`s about Daniel Craig? We say this hunky Bond character drives women gaga. So what is it about this incredible James Bond character that drives women wild?

DANIEL CRAIG, ACTOR: I have no idea. I don`t know.

ANDERSON: We do.

SEYMOUR: He`s kind of rocky and kind of craggy.

ANDERSON: Rocky, craggy, and just plain handsome. And you can say the same of the steamy , sultry Spanish actor Javier Bardem.

SEYMOUR: You know, he`s so incredibly sexy.

ANDERSON: He`s a dreamboat, all right. He won an Oscar in 2008 for his role in "No Country for Old Men" and keeps going strong. His latest film, "Vicky Christina Barcelona" has been hailed by critics. So what`s next for this spicy Spaniard?

JAVIER BARDEM, ACTOR: As an actor, as every actor, what I do want to do next is work.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: Well, it looks like these days, Javier has found important work as the man main for Latin beauty, Penelope Cruz. What a couple.

HAMMER: Tonight, Jennifer Aniston`s love confessions.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JENNIFER ANISTON, ACTRESS: Love brings up everything unlike itself. I think you just relinquish control.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Jen opens up to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT about her love life. She`s been called unlucky in love, but she says lots of women are making the wrong moves when it comes to relationships. Plus, does she blame herself for her break-ups with Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn and John Mayer?

Also, when Ellen met Portia. Ellen DeGeneres` wife, Portia De Rossi, opens up about how she and Ellen fell in love and why Portia was really, really nervous.

And a tough year for love. Rihanna and Chris Brown. Hulk and Linda Hogan. Jon and Kate Gosselin. Think about it - all those names. Well, tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT names the worst case of love and heartache in 2009. This is a special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(MUSIC PLAYING)

HAMMER: Remember this? The wedding party that danced down the aisle to Chris Brown`s "Forever." They actually inspired a scene on "The Office." Fans of "The Office" finally got what they were waiting for when Jim and Pam got married. And when the time came to start the wedding, Jim and Pam`s officemates borrowed the moves from that YouTube video. Watch what happened.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

HAMMER: That was pretty funny, actually, one the best "Office" episodes ever. Now, Jim and Pam knew the wedding was going to be full of chaos and they actually ran out and officially got married at Niagara Falls before all of this went down.

ANDERSON: Now, love confessions from Ellen DeGeneres` wife Portia De Rossi. Portia stopped by Oprah`s show and spoke very candidly about how she felt for Ellen. They got married in 2008. Portia also revealed the exact moment when she realized Ellen was the one. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

OPRAH WINFREY, HOST, "THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW": When did you know that she was the one for you?

PORTIA DE ROSSI, WIFE OF ELLEN DEGENERES: When I first laid eyes on her. But it took me three years to actually tell her how I felt about her, because I was on "Ally McBeal" at that time and I was not living as an openly gay person.

I was closeted and very, very afraid that if I talked about being gay, it would be the end of my career. So I was not about to then date the most famous lesbian in the world. At one time that was the most significant was during photo shoot, actually.

I just walked over to say hello to her and I couldn`t believe it. But she turned around and it was like an arrow was shot through my heart. I felt weak at the knees and I was overwhelmed with how I felt.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Portia adds that it took her 10 months after that to ask Ellen out.

HAMMER: And now, the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT lineup. Here`s what`s coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

A tough year for love in Hollywood. Let`s start out with Jon and Kate, plus, the other Kate.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MAJOR: He called me the new Kate and referred to Kate Gosselin as his ex- Kate or the old Kate. And he`s just - I fell for him. I completely believed everything that he said.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Jon and Kate are just the beginning. You`ve got Chris brown and Rihanna, Hulk and Linda Hogan. Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT names the worst case of love and heartache in `09.

Jennifer Aniston, love guru? Why Jen says most women have the recipe for love all wrong.

And the outrageous inside story of the guy who stood up in a crowded room, stripped down and asked George Clooney for a kiss. This is a special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Love and Heartache in Hollywood," on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Right now, on a special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Love and Heartache in Hollywood."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RIHANNA: And I say that to any young girl who`s going through domestic violence. Don`t react off of love. F love.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: A tough year for love. Chris Brown and Rihanna. Jon and Kate. And of course, Hulk and Linda. Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT names the worst case of love and heartache in 2009.

Jennifer Aniston`s explosive love confessions. Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT goes one on one with Aniston about finding love. Does she really blame herself for her break-ups with Brad, Vince, John?

Also this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MAURO CASCIARI, ITALIAN TV PERSONALITY: I am gay George.

GEORGE CLOONEY, ACTOR: Here it comes.

CASCIARI: I think I`m in love with you. George, please, take me. Choose me, George. Please.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: How did George Clooney respond to this wacky guy stripping down and revealing his love for him?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

HAMMER: Welcome back to the special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Love and Heartache in Hollywood." It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson, coming to you tonight from Hollywood.

Tonight, who will SHOWBIZ TONIGHT name the worst case of love and heartache of 2009?

HAMMER: I mean, looking back, Brooke, 2009 really has been a rollercoaster year for euphoric marriages, bitter breakups and all the drama in between. Let`s look at some of our nominees.

We have Chris Brown and Rihanna, of course. This young stars had a dramatic split after Brown brutally beat Rihanna back in February. Will their tragic love affair make them the worst case of love and heartache in 2009.

And you certainly cannot talk drama and not talk Jon and Kate Gosselin and the highs and lows of their very public divorce. Jon turned bad boy bachelor. Kate turned bitter soccer mom. Are they the worst case in 2009?

Or could it be Hulk and Linda Hogan. LeAnn Rimes and Dean Sheremet? Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo? So who will SHOWBIZ TONIGHT declare the worst case of love and heartache in 2009?

Let`s bring in the judges. Joining me tonight from Hollywood, Whitney Casey, who is a relationship expert and author of this fine book, "The Man Plan." In New York tonight, Ericka Souter who is a staff writer for "Us Weekly."

HAMMER: Let`s look at one huge case in my mind of love and heartache in 2009. Of course, Jon and Kate Gosselin. Really, when you think about it, the epitome of drama here. Whitney, this is about as bitter as a Hollywood divorce gets, isn`t it?

WHITNEY CASEY, RELATIONSHIP EXPERT AND AUTHOR: Oh, yes. You put eight kids, two ill-equipped parents, a ton of cameras, a lot of viewers and a really bad hair cut, Kate, into one big place. And you`re going to have a divorce.

The problem is, I think, with this couple is that with all these cameras and with all these big show and the celebrity, I also think - and this is inherent to all these reality shows.

Because look at the Kardashians. They`ve got a lot of trouble like this, too. You should also give them a stint on "Dr. Phil" because they are - they`re ill-equipped. I mean, they`re ill-equipped as parents to handle eight kids. It`s going to be hard for them to do that. But with all these eyeballs, they really do need a good therapist.

HAMMER: Yes. And that sums it up very well. And one thing that really sets these guys up as a big time case of love and heartache is really how dramatically Jon has changed over the year.

I mean, think about it. He went from this doting father of eight to this all-out playboy. Right away, when he and Kate split up, he started dating 22-year-old Hailey Glassman and even called her his soul mate. He told Chris Cuomo on ABC`s "Primetime" that he despised Kate. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JON GOSSELIN, REALITY TV STAR, "JON & KATE PLUS 8": I can`t sit on the sofa with that woman. I can`t sit with someone right now that I despise.

CHRIS CUOMO, ABC NEWS ANCHOR: Despise?

J. GOSSELIN: I despise because she`s not speaking from the heart. Please, the stuff you tell me in private should be the stuff you tell me on TV.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. Well, there`s a big red flag right there. Now, of course, he was connected to a slew of other women and that includes his former baby sitter and "Star" reporter, Kate Major. And in a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive, Kate Major told me that Jon Gosselin was one sweet-talking liar. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MAJOR: Jon told me he was falling for me. He called me the new Kate and referred to Kate Gosselin as his ex-Kate or the old Kate. And he`s just - I fell for him. I completely believed everything that he said.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. Now, Jon claims he`s changing his bachelor ways. But Ericka, I have to imagine his antics have really done permanent damage to his relationship with his ex and even the kids, wouldn`t you think?

ERICKA SOUTER, STAFF WRITER, "US WEEKLY": Oh, absolutely. And he started out as this great dad, very sweet. All the world was watching as Kate kind of picked on him and he was the hen-pecked husband.

And then, he turned around and he`s kind of like dad gone wild. And it can`t be helping, obviously, his relationship with Kate, his soon-to-be ex. And his kids are going to look back at everything he`s done and wonder, "What were you thinking, Dad?"

HAMMER: And what a year of transformation for him. Brooke Anderson, come on back in here, because I have to get your take as someone who, with me, has covered the trials and tribulations of Jon and Kate all year.

Really, when you look at it, I think you`ll probably agree with me that Jon of the two of them really brought the most heartache into this very bitter and public divorce, wouldn`t you say?

ANDERSON: Well, yes. But I think that both Jon and Kate bear some responsibility for this fiasco.

HAMMER: Oh, yes.

ANDERSON: But yes, Jon certainly hasn`t done anything to help matters - the gallivanting across the country, the dating the younger women, showing up at the clubs and the restaurants like he`s some sort of celebrity.

All the while that his poor, beautiful eight children are probably at home wondering where their father is. And I hope he makes serious changes, A.J., and says he will. But I hope he makes them before he does irreparable harm to those kids.

HAMMER: All right. Let`s move on now to another very dramatic case of love and heartache in 2009. We have Hulk and Linda Hogan. Now, they finalized their divorce this summer, but not before all kinds of very dramatic and really outrageous behavior between the two of them.

As a matter of fact, the week that they settled, Linda actually wanted Hulk thrown in jail because he didn`t return her motorcycle. Whitney, this is a bitter divorce battle to be sure. And I personally think they have Jon and Kate beat. What do you think?

CASEY: Oh, yes. I`ve been wrestling with this one. All right. I had to. First of all, you`re bringing in like, Cougarville. She`s dating 19-year- olds. He`s dating her doppelganger. I don`t understand why you want to get a divorce when you continue to date somebody who looks just like your ex-wife.

Besides that, then, you`ve got criminals involved. You`ve got Brooke who seems so - you know, hates her mom, then hates her dad. It`s dysfunction at its best. What I like, at least these are all adults.

I mean, Jon and Kate have eight kids, so we`re talking about irreparable harm to them. But you know, when you`re talking about adults like this, it was all drama from the beginning. When you date a wrestler or marry a wrestler, the only sad thing about it is two decades of marriage. They`ve got two decades of marriage, which is a lot to say for a celebrity couple for two decades. And it`s just hard to see that kind of go up in flames like this.

HAMMER: Yes. Another big piece of the drama to add to your big list right there - and Hulk`s in the book. He actually said he considered suicide when he and Linda first split. You know, this is a couple that had been together over 20 years.

And then, as Whitney mentioned, Linda is now in a serious relationship with her kid`s 20-year-old friend. Ericka, I mean, you can`t make this stuff up.

SOUTER: I know. I mean, it`s been drama with this couple from the beginning, from the moment he found out that Linda was divorcing him. I mean, a reporter showed up on his door and wanted to ask questions about their break-up. And until now, I mean, it`s just been a crazy, crazy whirlwind for this couple and their entire family.

HAMMER: Let`s move on to another nominee as SHOWBIZ TONIGHT names the worst case of love and heartache in 2009. LeAnn Rimes and Dean Sheremet.

Now, they divorced after seven years of marriage. LeAnn was spotted with another man, Eddie Cibrian. That affair ended his marriage as well. Whitney, this has got to be one of the most shocking examples of a hot celebrity affair that really played out right before our very eyes.

CASEY: That`s what I`m saying - you know, I love how they really tried to deny it the whole time. You know, they always say love is blind, but we`re not. We saw the video. I mean, and that was a hot affair.

I mean, what the sad part is, is that, you know, she was so young when she met her husband. And they had such a great love affair. And he supported her and he loved her through her celebrity.

And now, she finds this hot stud. And what I think is even worse is now this hot stud is completely upset about how the tabloids are saying that he`s having an affair on his mistress.

HAMMER: Yes. It`s bizarre.

CASEY: It`s confusing.

HAMMER: It`s bizarre.

CASEY: It was OK when he was having an affair on his wife. But when he has an affair on his mistress?

HAMMER: Yes.

CASEY: Yes, no you didn`t.

HAMMER: That`s rough. Let`s move on now because, really, one of the most shocking and jaw-dropping cases of love and heartache this year has to be these guys - Chris Brown and Rihanna. Of course, Brown pleaded guilty to brutally beating Rihanna right before the Grammys back in February.

Chris has since apologized. Rihanna gave a very dramatic interview to Diane Sawyer on "20/20" talking about that horrible night. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RIHANNA: I`ll say that to any young girl going through domestic violence. Don`t react off of love. F love. Come out of the situation and look at it third person and for what it really is and then make your decision. Because love is so blind.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: What do you think, Ericka? I mean, this is one of the most disturbing examples of love and heartache in 2009, don`t you think?

SOUTER: This might be the most tragic that we`ve seen in a long time. And they`re both very young. They`re both kids, essentially. And they fell hard for each other. And then it ended in such a public, embarrassing, you know, criminal way.

HAMMER: Well, Chris Brown and Rihanna were involved in such a dramatic difficult and really heartbreaking relationship in 2009. As we saw, the whole thing was so, so public. And that is why SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is officially declaring Chris Brown and Rihanna the worst case of love and heartache in 2009. Whitney, are you with us on our decision is there? Was it even a choice?

CASEY: I feel like it`s devastating, but in some ways empowering. Because this isn`t a topic that`s talked about a lot in Hollywood and it happens a lot. And so for young women out there to see that one of their heroes has recovered from this and has been able to see through all of this and say, you know, love is blind and wake up and smell the coffee, this is really great.

I mean, I think it`s great that Rihanna has come out and empowered young women. So we can make something great out of it.

HAMMER: Taken some - it`s a good takeaway. Good silver lining. Whitney Casey, Ericka Souter, thanks so much, guys.

ANDERSON: Tonight, the unbelievable story of the guy who confessed his love for George Clooney by stripping down and asking him for a kiss in a crowded room.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CASCIARI: I am gay, George. And.

CLOONEY: Here it comes.

CASCIARI: I think I`m in love with you. George, please take me. Choose me, George! Please. Please choose me. George, may I kiss you, please? Just one kiss.

(END VIDEO CLIP) B

ANDERSON: SO how did George Clooney respond to this wacky guy stripping down, asking for a kiss and revealing his love for him? You just have to see what happened next.

HAMMER: And welcome back to this special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Love and Heartache in Hollywood." I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

Tonight, we have Jennifer Aniston`s love confessions. Now, we`ve struggled with Jennifer many times over the years. But I`ve got to say, this is the most open I have ever seen her talking about love, why it works, why it doesn`t and why men and women everywhere need to pay attention to what she`s saying right now.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over): Bye-bye, Oprah. See you, "Millionaire Match Maker." Dr. Phil, the doctor is out. Hollywood now has a new expert on love. And her name is Jennifer Aniston.

ANISTON: Love brings up everything unlike itself.

HAMMER: Jennifer Aniston is opening up to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, sharing with us her recipe for finding love.

ANISTON: I think you have to relinquish control.

HAMMER: Keeping love.

ANISTON: Women can do too much. I mean, over-doting on somebody.

HAMMER: And surviving love`s end.

ANISTON: It`s not the longevity of a relationship that shows its success.

HAMMER: You may ask, what are Aniston`s qualifications to expound on the subject of love? Well, there is the string of super-famous men she has been linked to such as Vince Vaughn, John Mayer and Gerard Butler, not to mention the guy she was married to. Plus, she starred in no less than a billion romantic movies.

VINCE VAUGHN, ACTOR: You said on our very first date that you don`t like flowers, that they are a waste of money.

ANISTON: Every girl likes flowers, Gary.

HAMMER: Such as "The Breakup," "He`s Just Not That Into You," and "Love Happens," where she plays an unlucky-in-love florist alongside Aaron Eckhart.

ANISTON: My life is a day-by-day experiment in really bad decisions.

HAMMER: So since Aniston stars in "Love Happens," SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is asking Aniston what it actually takes to make love happen.

ANISTON: People have ways that, well, it`s supposed to look like this. And you know, they have of these rules already, sort of preset ideas of what the person is supposed to be, how it`s supposed to be, when it`s supposed to be, all of these plans. I don`t think it`s something you can control or really choose. It sort of chooses you.

HAMMER: Aniston`s second job as a Hollywood love guru is already making waves. In the new Australian edition of "Harper`s Bazaar," Aniston says women often do too much in relationships, saying, "Women complain that men don`t do enough, but it`s your own fault. You train your man to do nothing. You can`t blame someone for not knowing what his or her job should be if you don`t ask for it right off the bat. Don`t expect your mate to read your mind."

So SHOWBIZ TONIGHT had to ask Jen face to face, "Hey, Jen, what did you mean by that?

ANISTON: I think you need to know that if you are going into, you know, a rental situation, you are going to either - you`re going to maybe paint the walls a little bit. But ultimately, the structure is what it is. And if you go into anything thinking that you`re going to change them, that`s not really fair.

HAMMER: Aniston also reveals to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT the number one enemy of romance. She says it`s laziness.

ANISTON: I think like anything, if you are lazy with it, it dies. You also have to realize that it evolves. It changes. I mean, everybody knows this. This is not anything new.

HAMMER: Of course, now, people must decide if Jennifer Aniston is qualified to give love advice. If she is, maybe we found her a new career she can fall back on in case that whole actress thing doesn`t work out.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: You know, I really do think that Jennifer Aniston is going to find the right guy. I`m thinking maybe she just needs a nice, simple accountant to date.

ANDERSON: Now, to the man who professed his love to George Clooney, and it was all caught on tape. A guy stripped down and wanted to kiss George Clooney. We knew there had been to be a wild back story to this. So here`s CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with all of those juicy details.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

JEANNE MOOS, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): What do George Clooney and tennis star Rafael Nadal have in common? Men out to kiss them.

CASCIARI: I am gay, George. And.

CLOONEY: Here it comes.

CASCIARI: I think I`m in love with you. George, please take me. Choose me, George. Please. Please choose me. George, may I kiss you, please. Just one kiss.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE NEWS ANCHOR: A male stripper crashed his press conference.

MOOS: "Gay reporter strips to his underwear." Underwear with "George, choose me" scrawled front and back at the Venice Film Festival.

(on camera): Hey, we`ve got news for you. The guy is not gay. It was just a stunt.

(voice-over): Mauro Casciari, an Italian TV personality ...

CASCIARI: Por tanto.

MOOS: ... who does things like dress up as a beggar to show how authorities treat beggars outside an Italian church. Only this time, he was undressing.

CLOONEY: You know the tie looks good and it`s just long enough.

MOOS (on camera): Well, you are not really gay though. This was just a shtick. This was just a joke.

CASCIARI: Yes, yes. Just a joke. Yes, yes, yes.

MOOS (voice-over): This one was more along the lines of two guys pretending to make out behind a CNN correspondent.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: As the subsidiaries basically wind down.

MOOS: Or Sasha Baron Cohen playing gay fashionista, Bruno, dancing suggestively on Conan O`Brien`s desk. This, on the other hand, may actually have been a real fan who got arrested for running on to the court to kiss tennis star Rafael Nadal at the U.S. Open Tuesday night.

RAFAEL NADAL, TENNIS STAR: The guy was really nice. He said, "I love you" and he kissed me.

(LAUGHTER)

MOOS: Although, George Clooney likewise laughed. He put down a dinner loafer.

CLOONEY: It`s always embarrassing when you take one real swing for the fences and it just falls flat.

MOOS: But the Italian reporter didn`t think the joke fell flat. He thought it was a great success. But only one other outcome could have been better. .

CASCIARI: The more it would have made if George would have kissed me in the mouth.

MOOS: Tell that to Clooney`s date.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: That was CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

HAMMER: Well, tonight, are there problems with Ellen DeGeneres` marriage to Portia De Rossi? Why Portia is saying she`s sorry she married Ellen on tape. You`ve got to see that video. This is a special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Love and Heartache in Hollywood," right here on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to the special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Love and Heartache in Hollywood." I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

So tonight, is Portia De Rossi calling her marriage to Ellen DeGeneres a huge mistake? Just months after they tied the knot, De Rossi apologized to those that she has hurt by her nuptials. She unveiled the shocking PSA on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DE ROSSI: Hi, I`m Portia De Rossi. When I got married, all I was thinking about was my own joy at committing to love my partner for the rest of my life. I didn`t think about all the people I was hurting by getting married. That was selfish. So, I want to apologize to all those people whose lives have been affected by me getting married.

To Elaine Suttler, who suffered painful and debilitating paper cuts from holding up her simple message of intolerance. To Amanda Mulch, who came down with pneumonia while protesting my marriage in the rain. To George Binder, whose mind was so tragically blown by the idea of gays getting married he has to spend the rest of his life wearing this hat. To Buddy the dog, who was forced to wear this ridiculous sign, even though he himself is gay.

Thanks to Proposition 8, good people and animals like these will never again be subjected to the horrors of gay people getting married. But for me, it`s too late. I know there is no way I can make up for the pain I have caused. All I can say is - I`m sorry.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Paid for by married gay people who are sorry.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That was fantastic. I`m happy to report that DeGeneres and De Rossi are still very much in love. And although they have shot down baby rumors, De Rossi says that she does want to have a family someday.

ANDERSON: OK. So we`re going to end this love and heartache show with some love. You know, Beyonce`s "Single Ladies," right? She did this great video, of course.

But what`s really interesting is that Beyonce isn`t a single lady.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

So when Beyonce accepted the MTV Europe Award for Best Video, she had to give props to the person that made her an un-single lady.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BEYONCE KNOWLES, SINGER: There`s only one person I want to thank. And that is Jay for putting a ring on it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Beyonce, of course, talking about her hubby rapper Jay-Z.

HAMMER: Well, that is it for this special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Love and Heartache in Hollywood." Thank you for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Don`t forget, you can catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on the 11:00s - 11:00 p.m. Eastern and 11:00 p.m. Pacific, and in the morning, 11:00 a.m. Eastern on HLN.
