THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.

A.J. HAMMER, HOST: Big news, breaking right now on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - too fat to fly? The unbelievable story today of the big-time Hollywood director kicked off a plane because he was told he was too fat to fly.

Heidi Montag`s brand-new plastic surgery shocker today.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HEIDI MONTAG, REALITY TV STAR: It is who you are on the inside that really matters.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Wait, rewind that, please. Did you really just say it is who you are on the inside that matters? And in the next breath reveal plans for even more plastic surgery? Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the Montag madness.

Plus, Octomom madness. It`s the Octomom dating game. Tonight, Nadya Suleman goes on national TV to play "The Dating Game." And don`t you laugh at reports she could be hosting "The Dating Game," really.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

HAMMER: Hello, I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City. And tonight too fat to fly. There was big-time fallout today after a big-time Hollywood director, Kevin Smith, was told he was too big to fly and it was time for him to get off an airplane.

Smith, who has directed such cult classics such as "Clerks" and "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back," was anything but silent and tweeted his dilemma for all the world to see and hear. And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that what happened next made for big news breaking today.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice over): A massive air war is lighting up the sky. The aerial combatants - a big-time movie director and a major airline in a fierce dog fight filled with drama, danger and F-bombs dropped by the ton.

KEVIN SMITH, DIRECTOR: I know I`m fat, but I`m not that (EXPLETIVE DELETED) fat.

HAMMER: It`s Kevin Smith versus Southwest Airlines in too fat to fly. Director Kevin Smith known for playing Silent Bob in his films "Clerks" and "Chasing Amy" is striking back against Southwest Airlines after the airline kicked him off a flight for being too big for his seat.

JO PIAZZA, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST: Kevin Smith was taking a Southwest Airlines flight. He usually buys two tickets when he`s flying Southwest so that he has a little breathing room next to him on the plane. This time, he was flying standby and he only got a single seat.

HAMMER: In his podcast, Smith says a Southwest employee came to him and booted him from the full flight.

SMITH: She goes, "The captain says you can`t sit here." And she goes, "Well, no, it`s a safety issue, a security measure." So, I`m like, "But ma`am, I`m fine, I`m sitting down." She`s like, "Well, it`s just - if you can`t lower the armrests then we`re not - we can`t let you -"

And I was like, oh - I literally said, "Please, don`t do this to me. Are you serious, like, are you telling me to get up?" And I was like, "But, ma`am, the armrests - look. I put them both down. I was like, they were just up - they were up when I sat down.

HAMMER: After getting kicked off that flight, Smith finally did get another flight home. And when he landed, he went straight to his Twitter page to blast Southwest in front of his 1.6 million followers. He wrote, quote, "Fair warning, folks. If you look like me, you may be ejected from Southwest Air." To Southwest, Smith says, "You (EXPLETIVE DELETED) with the wrong sedentary processed-foods eater."

PIAZZA: Now, it`s become a Twitter war between Kevin Smith and Southwest Airlines.

HAMMER: On its own Twitter page and on an online blog titled "Not So Silent Bob," Southwest apologizes to Smith but it defends its customer of size policy. The airline says, quote, "The spirit of this policy is based solely on customer comfort and safety. If a customer cannot comfortably lower the armrest and infringes on a portion of another seat, a customer seated adjacent would be very uncomfortable and a timely exit from the aircraft in the event of an emergency might be compromised."

This whole mess is now making headlines everywhere. And it just so happens, Smith`s new movie, "Cop Out," with Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan, hits theaters in just two weeks.

PIAZZA: Let`s be honest, we have not been talking about Kevin Smith in some time. This is definitely generating publicity for the movie.

HAMMER: Smith denies he`s fattening up this controversy for publicity for his movie. On Twitter he writes, quote, "Yes, that`s how I want to sell my movie, `Hi, I`m the fat-ass, hack-ass, loud-mouth clown who dresses like a 12-year-old and is too fat to fly. Go see "Cop Out."`"

And the strangest part about this air war, Kevin Smith is now an advocate for overweight fliers who feel they`re often discriminated against on flights.

SMITH: I`m not saying you`ve got to respect me because I`m fat. I`m saying that you`ve got to respect me because I`m a (EXPLETIVE DELETED) paying (EXPLETIVE DELETED) customer.

PIAZZA: People think that it`s wrong for an airline to profile someone because of their weight. There are people who are divided on the issue because they don`t like to sit next to fat people on planes. And they`re like, "Look, I would kick Kevin Smith off the plane, too."

HAMMER: So the air war continues and the F-bombs continue to fall and a national debate marches on over how fat is to fat to fly?

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: OK. What is going on here? Is Kevin Smith standing up against discrimination or is he just using his celebrity to get his way?

Joining me tonight in New York Megan Alexander who is a correspondent for "Inside Edition." Joining me from Hollywood tonight, Carlos Diaz, who is a correspondent for "Extra."

Wow, did Kevin Smith ignite a firestorm with his angry tweets over the whole airline weight drama. Look, he`s angry, he`s got a platform and he`s using it, Megan. Is there anything wrong with that?

MEGAN ALEXANDER, CORRESPONDENT, "INSIDE EDITION": I think there is. I think this is impatience and rudeness. This is not discrimination against an obese person. What happened to civility?

I think the way he attacked Southwest Airlines who clearly - if you go to their Web site and do some research, they say if you want to purchase two seats, which he has a history of doing, and then he goes standby an on earlier flight knowing there was a chance he may not get two seats and he only gets one, I think he knew what he was up against.

And I think to go off so strongly when your record shows that you`ve always purchased two tickets - I think, A.J., it`s the slippery slope of throw a tantrum and get rewarded for it.

HAMMER: Well, yes. And now, we`re going to have people speaking out and reacting much like you just did. He did want to bring attention to the issue - mission clearly accomplished with that.

But, Carlos, what do you think? With the way things have taken off, with the fact that there are some people out there who may not have even known who Kevin Smith was before are saying some not such nice things about him. Did he make things a whole lot worse for himself?

CARLOS DIAZ, CORRESPONDENT, "EXTRA": I`m a big fan of Kevin Smith so I know who he is. I just didn`t know he was that fat, you know.

(CROSS TALK)

HAMMER: I didn`t either, quite frankly.

DIAZ: You know, the weird thing is I have actually taken a southwest flight with Jay from "Jay and Silent Bob," Jason Muse. Jason Muse - so he and I have been on a Southwest flight.

HAMMER: But he`s a really skinny guy, though.

DIAZ: Yes. There was no problem. Armrest was down the entire time. But here`s the thing. What you need to do in the future, Kevin, is you get around B30, OK, in the whole Southwest thing.

That way you can pick where you sit because you`re right in the middle of everyone getting on the plane. And you pick a couple and they`re next to each other anyway. They`re kind of like - they`re scrunched against each other. So you`ve gotten more space if you find a couple to sit next to. These are just suggestions I`m making right now.

HAMMER: All right. Let me back up to my question. You can just give me a yes or no answer, Carlos. Did he make things worse for himself by speaking out? Hey, it`s the modern age. People use the social networking to sound off and he has over one million followers.

DIAZ: I think he made things worse because it`s kind of an embarrassing situation and he brought light to this embarrassing situation where maybe he should have kept quiet about it.

HAMMER: Well, let`s move on now to another big story breaking today - Howard Stern slamming Ellen. Obviously, there`s been tons of buzz over the possibility of Howard replacing Simon Cowell when Simon leaves "Idol" after the season.

Now, Stern hasn`t said for sure whether or not he is actually in talks for the gig or whether he would actually take the spot on "Idol." But now, he is fired up over the reports that are out there claiming that Ellen wouldn`t want him on the show.

You`ve got to hear what he had to say about the ordeal on his Sirius XM radio show. Listen to this.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

HOWARD STERN, RADIO TALK SHOW HOST: She`s going to ruin "American Idol." Everyone goes, if Howard Stern takes over "American Idol," Ellen DeGeneres might leave. Well, yes, that`s the whole (EXPLETIVE DELETED) idea. I`m not going to sit there with her - that dummy."

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Now, it is important to point out, Ellen has never come forward and said she didn`t want Howard on "Idol." Howard, of course, has never been afraid to make enemies and I`m thinking, look, there are two totally different audiences for Ellen and for Howard.

But Megan, there are some people who might say Howard is making a mistake by taking on somebody as popular and beloved as Ellen.

ALEXANDER: I think Howard Stern is doing what he does. He is being crass. He is being rude you. You hit it. There`s completely different demographics from "Idol" and Howard Stern.

Howard Stern is rated R material. He has a mature audience. "Idol" - we`ve got preteens, kids, adults watching this show. Remember the whole Adam Lambert controversy that maybe that was too adult when he performed at the awards show?

HAMMER: Right.

ALEXANDER: Keep "Idol" what that is. And Ellen fits that demographic so well. Howard Stern - no, thanks.

HAMMER: Well, Howard did not end his Ellen bashing there. He also took a swipe at Ellen for her other job as a Covergirl model. Listen to this.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

STERN: Ellen DeGeneres looks like somebody punched her in the face. She gets on that Covergirl and you`d think she`s Heidi Klum."

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Now, Howard speaks his mind. He calls it like he sees it. But how do you see it, Carlos? Does Howard run the risk of potentially alienating "Idol" fans before he even gets a shot at getting this gig if he`s even interested in the gig?

DIAZ: A.J., he`s done. There`s no way. There`s no way that they would bring him on "American Idol." Even Ellen, you know, by chance, isn`t around next season - I mean, they`re not going to bring him on because he is proving he can`t be a team player.

And I`m sorry, Howard. If you`re going to make the transition back to playing nice and, you know, maybe getting back on the rest of radio and maybe getting on a primetime TV show, you`ve got to prove that you can get along with others and he`s doing exactly the opposite of that with his statements.

HAMMER: Well, another story that is making big news today has to do with former "Idol" judge Paula Abdul. She answers the burning question, will she reunite Simon Cowell any time soon. That`s got us wondering, should she? Would she?

Megan Alexander, Carlos Diaz, stay where you are. We will get to that possible controversial reunion in just a bit.

But first over to you. Here`s our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day - "Paula Abdul: Should she reunite with Simon Cowell?" Here`s where you vote CNN.com/ShowbizTonight. You can also E-mail us at showbiztonight@cnn.com.

Wow, you have got to hear this brand-new Heidi Montag plastic surgery shocker today.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MONTAG: it`s who you are on the inside that really matters, and this is just a shell at the end of the day.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Wait a second. Are my ears going here? Did Heidi really just say it is who you are on the inside that matters? The Heidi who just had 10 plastic surgeries and now says she wants more? It is Heidi Montag madness.

Also this Octomom madness.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JIMMY KIMMEL, HOST, "JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE": Our bachelorette tonight is - the Octomom, Nadya Suleman.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Oh, good. It`s the Octomom dating game. Yes, Nadya Suleman goes on national TV to play the dating game. Does she find love? Who will baby-sit for her 14 kids if she was out on a date? And check out this big blockbuster - will Nadya host a dating game of her own? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

TEXT: Fox`s "24" shuts down so Kiefer Sutherland can have surgery for a ruptured cyst. Star-studded, but poorly reviewed "Valentine`s Day" number one at box office pulls in about $67 million.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(MUSIC PLAYING)

HAMMER: Tonight, it is the brand-new version of "We are the World." The original came out 25 years ago to benefit African famine relief. This new one helps Haitian earthquake victims. But today, there is already controversy over the star-studded remake.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer. All right. So the new "We are the World" is out today. Check out all of the stars in this thing.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

HAMMER: But tonight, Jay-Z is revealing that even though he is big on helping the people of Haiti, he didn`t want to be a part of the remake because he thinks "We are the World" should have been left alone.

Listen to what he`s saying, "I appreciate the efforts and everything. But `We are the World` is musically untouchable like `Thriller` is untouchable. Some things are just untouchable. It was a valiant effort, but for me, it`s going to be untouchable."

Well, what do you think? Should "We are the World" have been left alone? Which version do you like better? Take a listen to the original version from 1985.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

All right. I want you to tell me on Facebook right now - what do you like, the original? The remake? Go to Facebook.com/ShowbizTonight and stay put because we`re going to show you more of the brand-new, star- studded "We are the World 25" video in just a bit.

And now, it`s an Angelina Jolie exclusive. CNN`s Christiane Amanpour just sat down exclusively with Jolie who was in Haiti as part of her work as a United Nations goodwill ambassador. She does some wonderful things over there, helping out with the devastation and all the homeless children.

But Angelina did reveal something that I found very surprising. You know, she has six kids that she is raising with Brad Pitt - three of them are adopted. Well, Angelina is actually telling people not to adopt right now from Haiti.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ANGELINA JOLIE, ACTRESS AND UNITED NATIONS GOODWILL AMBASSADOR: I think we have to - we have to enforce the law and work with the government. I know there is a new child protection cluster that is formed that is doing everything they can to coordinate.

They`re talk a lot about reunification, talked to ICRC about this reunification program because that`s the most important thing, to try to track everybody. But as we said, it`s very difficult without birth registration.

It is a huge problem. Trafficking has been a huge problem in this country for a very long time and a very, very real problem. So I think everybody that means well needs to really take that very seriously and not get frustrated, but really work with the country.

And for myself, as somebody who is an adoptive parent, I understand the urge to assist in that way. But now is not the time. An emergency is not the time for new adoptions in any way.

I`m personally going to assist in country, organizations like SOS that, in fact, do raise orphans in country with widows. It`s an extraordinary program and they do it. And they raise them for life.

And it`s one of the programs that`s in 134 countries and it should be scaled up with one of the best ways to help a child without removing a child from its home country. So, the more we can scale up in country, the better.

CHRISTIANE AMANPOUR, HOST, "AMANPOUR": Look, you raised the prospect of yourself as an adoptive parent. Obviously, there has been a lot of speculation as to whether you will adopt from Haiti. Obviously, you`re saying not now. But will you? Is that something you`re looking at?

JOLIE: I`m always open to children around the world with that kind of a family. Brad and I talk about that, but that`s not what we`re focusing on at this time, by any means. We`re not here for that. We`re here to see how we can help protect the children in the country and scale up the needs here.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Well, details of Jolie`s trip were top secret for security reasons. If you want to watch the rest of Christiane Amanpour`s incredible interview with Angelina Jolie, just head on over to "Amanpour.com."

All right. So we know Madonna has done many things - a singer, movie star - you name it. But marriage counselor? Really? She`s been married twice. That didn`t work it. She is reportedly dating a guy that`s young enough to be her son. So who is letting her dish out marriage advice today?

All right. So we told you how Paula Abdul was hinting that she was going to be reunited with Simon Cowell on his new show "The X-Factor." Well, now, today, she`s saying not happening. I mean, Paula, come on. Make up your mind here already.

Fox`s "Family Guy" pretty much equal opportunity offender. They go after everyone and everything on that show. But tonight, did they go too far by making fun of Sarah Palin`s son who has Down syndrome? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

Now, it`s time for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

TEXT: Madonna to direct new film about King Edward VIII. Chris Brown walks the runway at Naomi Campbell`s charity fashion show for Haiti.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Big bombshell allegation today from one of Farrah Fawcett`s closest friends, her "Charlie`s Angels" co-star, Kate Jackson. In an interview with "Radar Online," Jackson claims Fawcett`s ex, Ryan O`Neal and another one of Farrah`s friends, Alana Stewart, kept her from seeing Farrah in her dying days.

Fawcett died last June. And Jackson is also suspicious of O`Neal and Stewart getting control of Farrah`s documentary, "Farrah`s Story." Jackson doesn`t believe Farrah was coherent when she signed control over to O`Neal and Stewart for that. We reached out to Ryan and Alana`s rep who says all the allegations are not true.

And now, the top 10 women in Hollywood who are turning 40 this year. They are gorgeous. They are successful and they are hitting the big 4-0 in 2010. "More" magazine is just out with its list of Hollywood`s fabulous women turning 40 in its February issue.

Check this out. We`ve got Minnie Driver. Queen Latifah, Uma Thurman, Tina Fey, Audra McDonald, Giada de Laurentiis, Claudia Schiffer, the lovely Taraji P. Henson, Kelly Ripa, Jennifer Connelly.

"More" magazine contributing fashion editor Susan Swimmer reveals why these women are the cream of the crop.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SUSAN SWIMMER, CONTRIBUTING FASHION EDITOR, "MORE" MAGAZINE: The women on this list are all - who are turning 40 this year - really show us that you stick with your career, you put in the time. You are going to find success and hold success.

And I think what is most interesting about all the women on this list is they are hard workers. They are dedicated to their careers. They are dedicated to making their lives the best that they can be. And that sets them apart.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Moving on tonight, there is still a raging debate going on right now on our Facebook wall all about john Mayer`s shocking use of the N-word in a "Playboy" magazine interview.

Look at this. They`ve been going on all day long. Carmen H. writes, "If we take everything a celeb has to say to heart, then all celebs will suffer in their careers. Get over it, people. He said something stupid. Everyone does now and again."

We`ve also been getting tons of calls into our "Showbiz on Call" phone lines as well. Shermany from Georgia says she is dumping Mayer from her iPod.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

CALLER: I think John Mayer should think about his younger fans. As a young black woman, I feel very disrespected and will never listen to his music again because he is not a good role model for people. Other people listen to him. I hope that other artists can learn from his mistake.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Thanks, Shermany. The "Showbiz on Call" phone calls are open all the time at 1-888-SBT-BUZZ; the number again is 1-888-728-2899.

Now, the SHOWBIZ lineup. Here`s what`s coming up on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. The Octomom on the dating game, looking for love. Will she actually end up hosting a dating game, too?

Also this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MONTAG: It is who you are in the inside that really matters and this is just a shell at the end of the day.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Hang on just one second. Heidi Montag is saying today that it`s what`s on the inside that counts? Didn`t you just get 10 plastic surgeries, Heidi?

And Paula Abdul, please make up your mind. First, you say you`re going to reunite with Simon on TV. And now, you`re not? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

It`s the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker." These are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

TEXT: Doug Fieger, lead singer of the Knack, which gave us "My Sharona," dead at age 57. Country singer Trace Adkins` tour bus involved in fatal crash, he was not on the bus.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MONTAG: It`s who you are on the inside that really matters and this is just a shell at the end of the day.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Now, on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Heidi Montag`s brand-new plastic surgery madness. After 10 plastic surgery procedures, Heidi proclaims today beauty comes from within. Oh, and it gets worse. Heidi reveals she wants to get more work done. Is she for real?

Madonna, the marriage counselor? Startling news today that the twice- divorced super star is said to help other couples avoid splitsville.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KIMMEL: Our bachelorette tonight is - the Octomom, Nadya Suleman.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: It is the Octomom dating game. Will an octu-boyfriend make 15? And get a load of this - could Nadya Suleman actually host a TV dating game?

Plus, more stories breaking from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker."

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

Tonight, it`s Heidi Montag and Octomom madness. And when I say madness, I mean knocked off their rocker, cuckoo for Coco Puffs, stark- raving mad, madness. How low can they go? Well, when I tell you the big news breaking today, you will agree, it turns out, pretty, pretty low.

Tonight, we begin with our train wreck spectacular and a brand-new Octomom sighting. She is looking for an octudad, on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," no less, doing the dating game. Will the mother of 14 breed again?

And Heidi Montag picks up the madness ball from Octomom and takes it home in a brand-new interview with "Radar Online" that we got our hands on today. This 22-year-old plastic surgery diva is actually preaching the importance of inner beauty. And it gets better. She says she is going to reveal all of that inner goodness in a new "Playboy" photo spread.

Joining me tonight in New York is Megan Alexander who is a correspondent for "Inside Edition." Also tonight in New York is Lawrence Cooper who is a psychologist and author of this fine book, "The Cult of Perfection."

All right. Let`s start off the first part of our truly spectacular Monday madness today with the Octomom. It`s just refreshing to say her name again - Nadya Suleman. She appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" all decked out in her little red dress, looking for love, doing this whole classic revival of the TV classic, "The Dating Game."

She told Jimmy Kimmel it has been a long time since she has gotten any love. Take a look.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KIMMEL: Nadya, when was the last time you went on a date?

NADYA SULEMAN, OCTUPLET MOTHER: A little bit over 10 years ago.

KIMMEL: It must be very difficult to meet people, right, with like 90 kids or whatever you have, right? I would think so.

SULEMAN: Yes.

KIMMEL: And you ever get a chance to meet people?

SULEMAN: I avoid people.

KIMMEL: You avoid people?

SULEMAN: Yes.

KIMMEL: Well, you`ve got more than enough people living in your house.

SULEMAN: I`m having a little bit of agoraphobia.

KIMMEL: I got you. OK. So are you ready to do this?

SULEMAN: Yes, I am.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Oh, I missed that laugh. All right, Cooper, off to you first. You know, we haven`t seen Octomom in a while. What do you think is going on here? Because I`m trying to figure this out.

Did she play the dating game because she knows how to laugh at herself in a way only she can? Or are you with me that she is still a big old narcissistic fame-monger?

COOPER LAWRENCE, PSYCHOLOGIST AND AUTHOR: Oh, she`s a huge fame-monger. You know, that`s the only thing about fame addiction. That`s the only addiction people encourage. Nobody says it`s like alcoholism and you should stay away from it. They think fame is a wonderful thing.

And I think she took advice from a publicist who said, "Step back. People hate you. Let them forget about why they hate you. And then come back big, looking hot and do something bizarre like laugh strangely on "Jimmy Kimmel."

HAMMER: Yes. Well, yes. And I have to say it is all strangely charming to me. And I don`t even believe that I`m saying that, but that`s how I feel.

Well, after six long minutes of the Octomom asking these three clueless bachelors questions like, "Is your turtle fertile?" Or, "Is your chimp limp?" Well, one sorry cad did make the cut. It was bachelor number three. The question is, "Were there sparks?" Take a look.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KIMMEL: What a love connection.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m glad that it`s someone that I know.

KIMMEL: Can I ask, what is going through your head right now?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Shock.

KIMMEL: Do you think you could date someone who has 14 children?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It would be a challenge.

KIMMEL: Are you up to that challenge, Greg?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I guess we`ll find out.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. Look at that, the happy couple. Well, the Octomom was really kind of a natural playing the game there. There have actually been reports floating around that the game show network is considering hiring Octomom to have a role on a new dating show. It seems that everybody`s gut reaction today, Megan, was, "Oh, no. Don`t put her on TV. Don`t let her do that." But really, why not?

ALEXANDER: It`s time for a confession first, A.J. You wanted to be one of those three bachelors, didn`t you?

HAMMER: Yes, sure. Right. OK.

ALEXANDER: I think the star of that program was bachelor number three. He seemed like a nice guy. The poor thing comes around the corner and then he sees, wow, one plus - how many children does she have? I thought he seemed like a nice guy and he was completely shocked.

HAMMER: But what about putting her on her own show? No?

ALEXANDER: I don`t think it`s a good idea at all. I think it encourages, as Cooper was saying, this whole crazy fame thing for her. And she`s got too much responsibility at home.

HAMMER: All right. But we`re responsible, too. And that`s why we`re warning people that these talks are apparently and reportedly in progress with, you know, television programs and we`ll see. Octumom may be on the move.

All right. Let`s move on to another great big mess in Hollywood. Heidi Montag - we call her the plastic surgery boob princess. "Radar Online" posted today a truly outrageous and really a mind-boggling interview with the 23-year-old remade reality show diva.

After 10 procedures nipping this and tucking that, Heidi now tells "Radar" - well, watch for yourself.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MONTAG: I don`t think anyone has ever done what I have done and talked about it. So I knew, going into it, that it would be quite the - you know, havoc and everything. But, you know, all that matters is that I`m happy and I feel great.

And, you know, it`s who you are on the inside that really matters and this is just a shell at the end of the day.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Huh? What? Did I hear that correctly? Can we play that back one more time, Charles. Is that possible?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MONTAG: It is who you are on the inside that really matters.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Hold on a second. It is who you are on the inside that really matters. Really? In the same interview, she talks about having more work done.

Cooper, I am really having a hard time finding any logic in what Heidi is saying here. This is a woman who has said she is so unhappy with her appearance that she had all this work done.

LAWRENCE: A.J., you are going to love this. She and I have a mutual friend - don`t judge me. And I asked, "Is she crazy? Has she lost her mind?" The friend said, "Yes, she has completely lost touch with reality. She doesn`t realize what she is doing is bizarre." And they think comments like that just show how out of touch with her own reality she has become.

HAMMER: Well, Heidi didn`t stop there. She dropped another whopper in the brand-new "Radar" interview when she announced she has decided to take that shell of hers and flaunt it on a couple pages of "Playboy" magazine. Again, watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MONTAG: I cannot wait to show off my new assets. I`m very excited, yes.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You seem pretty happy with it.

MONTAG: This is the best decision of my life and it really was amazing. And everything has come out so well and I feel very blessed.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. See, this goes to that point. I don`t get why she doesn`t realize how ridiculous this makes her all look. I mean, Megan, is "Playboy" her only option at this point? Should she be very, very worried?

ALEXANDER: I think you`ve absolutely got it right. Look she said that she underwent this extreme surgery to expand her career options, to promote her new album, which only sold a few hundred copies.

I think, instead, "Playboy" is the only venue that has come calling for her, and she`s putting herself in a box. Let me tell you something - this girl is looking at short-term options instead of long-term.

Those pictures are going to be around forever, A.J. Someday, she may not want her kids to see those.

HAMMER: Yes. No question about that. I just don`t - I really understand what is going on here. And I`ve said all along, you know, if she`s not getting some counseling for all of this, perhaps she should be.

Well, if all of that was not boobilicious enough for one day in terms of the bombshells, we have more. Heidi is not done with her plastic surgery. Take a look at this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MONTAG: Eventually, I`d like to get my breasts redone because I didn`t get them the size I wanted. They couldn`t fit. So that`s it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Cooper, she says she`s not addicted to plastic surgery. Beauty is on the inside. But then again, triple D not big enough. She really does have a problem here, doesn`t she?

LAWRENCE: Yes, it`s same thing if you talk to somebody who is a drug addict, "I don`t have a problem. Fine. I do drugs. I can handle it."

I mean, plastic surgery is her drug. But remember, also, they took all of their money - she and Spencer - and spent it on her album. So she`s going to take, as Megan was saying, every short-term opportunity possible because she doesn`t have any money left and she`s going to need all that plastic surgery.

HAMMER: See, I want to believe for a second, Megan, that she really is just not thinking out what she means to say. You know, can she really be this far off base saying, you know, beauty is important inside and then go on to say, "I need bigger breasts"?

ALEXANDER: I think somebody is telling her to say that because she doesn`t understand what she`s doing. And I`m wondering what her circle of influence is. What is her husband doing to get her to do these options? And why isn`t he speaking up and her close friends and advisors? I would be cautious of who I`m hanging with.

HAMMER: Yes. Her husband - well, he feels blessed to be with her. That`s what he`s saying. Megan Alexander, Cooper Lawrence, thanks so much, guys. I appreciate it.

All right. I have to say I never thought I`d live to tell this one. Madonna, the marriage counselor? Yes, the startling news just out today that Madonna, who is twice-divorced and reportedly dating a guy young enough to be her son, is going to be relationship guru on TV. I know, Madonna is the queen of reinvention, but come on here.

Paula Abdul`s big return to TV. Will she or won`t she team up with her old frenemy, Simon Cowell? What`s going on? Does she have something else straight up her sleeve?

"Family Guy`s" Sarah Palin outrage. The Fox show makes a shocking slam against Palin`s son with Down syndrome. It is the alarming new controversy tonight. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

TEXT: Barbara Walters ending her Annual Academy Awards Special after 29 years. Sean Penn, Kate Winslet and Penelope Cruz among presenters at Academy Awards.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

Tonight, Catherine Zeta Jones` ugly fashion fury. The big mystery surrounding Paula Abdul`s big return to TV. And Madonna`s shocking new gig - marriage counselor? It`s all making big news in the buzz today.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: The fur flies over Catherine Zeta Jones. The animal rights group PETA has named Zeta Jones as the worst dressed celebrity of 2010 for wearing fur and leather. PETA calls her fur clothing crimes of fashion and compassion.

Other stars on PETA`s worst dressed list include Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Lopez and Kate Hudson.

Paula Abdul`s TV comeback. Abdul has just confirm that she will be coming back to TV but she won`t say what she`ll be doing. In a radio interview, Paula danced around questions about whether she`ll be reunited with Simon Cowell on his U.S. version of "X-Factor." But she dropped some big hints saying, quote, "I`m going to be going back to my roots," saying, "I`m going back to doing some teaching on television." But she wouldn`t confirm anything specific.

Madonna offering marriage advice? It`s just been confirmed that the twice-divorced superstar will be appearing on Jerry Seinfeld`s new show, "The Marriage Ref." The NBC show will feature married couples having their arguments settled by celebrity judges. "The Marriage Ref" will debut after the Olympics.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: OK. So Madonna is giving marriage advice. And get this - we also got proof today that she is also making up and making out with her 23-year- old boyfriend. We will show you that video.

Joining me tonight from Hollywood, Kim Serafin who is a senior editor with "In Touch Weekly." Also tonight from Hollywood, Carlos Diaz who is a correspondent for "Extra."

Well, we all know Madonna is the queen of reinvention. But the twice divorced Madonna as a marriage counselor? Really? Carlos, what`s wrong with this picture?

DIAZ: Hey, man, I based my entire first marriage on the teachings of Madonna, which is why that didn`t last.

(CROSS TALK)

But really, here`s the thing, though - in all honesty, come on, I`d watch. I mean, Madonna as a marriage ref - I`m so tuning in. I mean, just for the simple things. You want to know what kind of advice she is going to give because, in all honesty, she really has not talked at length about her relationships. So I am dying to see how Madonna would handle everyday tours, if you will - everyday perils that they have in marriage.

HAMMER: Well, maybe there`s some brilliance in casting, too, with Madonna and Alec Baldwin. Kind of like, don`t do what I do. And maybe things will work out unlike Carlos Diaz.

More Madonna relationship drama just in today. In a brand-new video posted on "YouTube," a Brazilian TV channel captures the 51-year-old Madonna partying hard at a club in Rio de Janeiro - look at her - with her 23-year-old boyfriend, Jesus Luz.

Now, there were reports earlier this month saying that these guys split up. I`m looking at this video - I`m sure you are, too - thinking break up? What break up? Kim, this really is Madonna just showing that she could care less of what people think of her dating someone 29 years younger, right?

KIM SERAFIN, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": Right. She does not care. And I think she wants to show off her 23-year-old boyfriend who happens to be an underwear model, because if you look at those shots, he looks pretty good with his shirt off.

So I`m saying if she is judging this show, "The Marriage Ref," or she`s on this show, "The Marriage Ref," I think that`s really a good idea because if she can`t solve the crisis of whoever is married, she can certainly point out how to get a really hot significant other if they can`t work out their marriage. That works for me.

HAMMER: Quite frankly, she has just never been one to care at all what anybody thinks or says about her. Let`s move on to the Paula Abdul news that`s breaking today. Paula Abdul speaking out in a brand-new interview about what her next TV gig will be now, of course, that she is done with "American Idol."

Is it going to be on "X-Factor" with Simon Cowell as has been rumored? Or maybe even "Dancing with the Stars?" Well, Paula went on the "John Jay and Rich Radio Show" and dropped some big hints. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PAULA ABDUL, FORMER "AMERICAN IDOL" JUDGE: Well, that`s what people are writing about, but you`ll just have to hear it from me. And I`m not trying to sound like - I mean, I hate having to say that.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No, we get it.

ABDUL: You know, there are a lot of factors in.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Factors? X-factors? Drop a clue.

ABDUL: Drop a clue. I`m going to be going back to my roots and doing a TV show that has something to do with my roots.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I`m happy to hear that she sounds pretty consistent with how she has always sounded. Something to do with her roots. Paula also said it has something to do with what you call teaching. Carlos, let me turn to you, my friend, as our interpreter now. Interpret this, please.

DIAZ: It is so obvious. On the "X-Factor" the judges mentor the singers. That`s what she`s saying. She`s going to be mentoring these singers. She`s going to be teaching them.

When I interviewed Paula Abdul about two weeks ago, I asked her the same question and her face lit up when I asked about "X-factor." I think she`s going to "X-Factor."

HAMMER: All right. But then, again, she also was a choreographer. Perhaps there`s some teaching involving dancing, although the judges don`t really teach dancing on that show so much, so maybe not.

Let`s move on because another big story just in today. Brand-new outrage today over Fox`s TV show, "Family Guy," which last night seems to make fun of Sarah Palin`s son who has Down syndrome. You`ve got to watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You haven`t asked me anything about myself.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Oh, sorry. So, what do your parents do?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: That`s better. My dad is an accountant and my mom is the former governor of Alaska.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Oh, that`s cool.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It`s real cool. Now, get up and come over here and give me a shoulder massage.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK. Boy, you`re tougher than a doggy dominatrix.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right, Kim. "Family Guy" is known for doing and saying some pretty outrageous things. But did the show just cross the line here potentially going after Palin`s son?

SERAFIN: You know, it`s interesting because, obviously, they don`t use her name and it`s obviously a girl that is depicted in this. But clearly, it was meant to go after Sarah Palin.

I think there might be some more outrage because people - even going back to Letterman, people got upset when it wasn`t Sarah Palin but when it was going after the son or daughter. You know, the daughter or son of someone who is in the public eye.

So I think that`s why maybe people might think this went too far. And of course, you have the Rahm Emanuel incident that just happened.

HAMMER: Yes.

SERAFIN: And you know, I think it sort of comes off of that.

HAMMER: Yes, exactly. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT did reach out to Sarah Palin for a comment. We haven`t heard back from her as of show time. But I would be surprised if we didn`t hear something from her before too long. Kim Serafin, Carlos Diaz, thank you, guys. I appreciate it.

All right. Tell us what you think for our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day on Paula Abdul. She should reunite with Simon Cowell as has been suggested she might do. Keep voting at CNN.com/ShowbizTonight. Or E-mail us at showbiztonight@cnn.com.

HAMMER: That`s the incomparable Naomi Campbell ripping the runway to benefit Haitian earthquake victims. The supermodel had plenty of help from Hollywood`s A-list. Naomi put together a charity fashion show for relief as a part of New York`s fashion week which is going on right now.

Kelly Osbourne, singer Estelle and Chris Brown were among the big stars who volunteered to strut their stuff in clothes that will auctioned off to raise money for Haiti. The extraordinary show also featured fashion for relief Haiti t-shirts. Proceeds going to the Clinton Bush Haiti fund.

Naomi is not done yet. She`s doing another star-studded show Thursday in London. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Here it is. Would you be my blue shirt bride? Look at that.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Oh, what could be more romantic? A Valentine`s Day proposal on a jumbotron at a hockey game in New York City`s Madison Square Garden. He shoots. He scores, right? No. More like a slap shot to the face. You have got to see how this whole thing played out.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Here it is. Will you be my blue shirt bride? Look at that. Oh, you just have to think about it. Let`s talk about a pre-nup.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Ouch. Now, today the big question is, did she really diss that guy in front of thousands of people. Well, tonight I can tell you we don`t know for sure. Some say it was a huge hoax. The couple hasn`t come forward to say whether or not they punked everyone watching the Rangers game.

Well, that is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thank you so much for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. We will see you right back here tomorrow at 11:00 p.m. Eastern.

But before we go we are leaving you with more of that spectacular remake of "We are the World" benefiting the Haitian earthquake victims.
