THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.

BROOKE ANDERSON, HLN HOST: Big news breaking right now on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - should Tiger Woods apologize to his mistresses? First, Tiger apologizes to his wife.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TIGER WOODS, GOLF CHAMPION: I`m deeply sorry for my irresponsible and selfish behavior.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: But now, dramatic new demands today that Tiger say he`s sorry to all his alleged mistresses. The former porn star -

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JOSLYN JAMES, ALLEGED MISTRESS OF TIGER WOODS: I really feel that I deserve to look at him in person, face to face, in his eyes because I didn`t deserve this.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: The Vegas cocktail waitress. Tonight should Tiger tell his mistresses, "Oops, sorry about that?"

The startling Angelina Jolie family reunion. Angelina, her estranged father Jon Voight. Tonight, the dramatic pictures out today of them hanging out in public. But why the sudden, dramatic, out-of-the-blue reunion?

Caught on tape, when stars attack. Sean Penn facing serious jail time today for getting into a very nasty fight. But what set him off? Tonight, will Sean Penn be thrown in the jail pen?

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.

(MUSIC)

ANDERSON: Hi, there. I`m Brooke Anderson coming to you from Hollywood. And tonight, what about the mistresses? Yes, what about those mistresses, Tiger? They were brand-new explosive demands today that Tiger Woods needs to also call all the women he slept with and apologize to them.

Now that Tiger has gone before the world to acknowledge that he is really is sorry, no-good, rotten cheater, the women he cheated with are furious he didn`t apologize to them.

A lot of people were saying today, hey, that`s nuts. They should get an apology for helping destroy Tiger`s marriage? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that this emotional debate made for big news breaking today.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

WOODS: I`m deeply sorry for my irresponsible and selfish behavior.

ANDERSON (voice over): On Friday, millions of people watched as a tearful Tiger Woods apologized to, well, just about everyone, including his wife Elin, his friends, his fans, his sponsors, his charitable foundation, the kids of America and the parents of America.

WOODS: I am so sorry.

ANDERSON: But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you one group is conspicuously missing from Tiger`s apology list, his mistresses. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you some of Tiger`s alleged ex-mistresses are demanding that Tiger apologize to them, too.

JAMES: I would be open to a telephone apology from Tiger.

ANDERSON: The charge is being led by ex-porn star, Joslyn James, who held a press conference immediately after Tiger`s address to ask, "Where`s my apology?"

JAMES: I`ve had to deal with a lot and too much from him and because of him.

HAMMER: Another alleged ex-mistress, Jamie Junger, said the same thing to "E`s" Ken Baker.

JAMIE JUNGER, ALLEGED MISTRESS OF TIGER WOODS: She should apologize also to the people - like myself, his mistresses, the ones that are out here, because we`re dealing with a lot of stuff, too.

ANDERSON: And "Playboy" model, Loredana Jolie Ferriolo, tells the "New York Post," "I think he should have mentioned something in regards to the girls, an apology or something."

So is America rallying to support these brave women who say they were wronged by Tiger`s misdeeds? In a word, no.

JOY BEHAR, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": She wants a personal apology from Tiger, because she claims that she lost work during the period that he dumped her.

ANDERSON: This morning on "The View," the audience laughed as Joy mocked Joslyn James` apology demand.

DAPHNE BROGDON, COMEDIAN: You are a big girl and you know you did a little bit of a naughty thing. So why would you need an apology for that?

ANDERSON: That`s a good question. Why do Tiger Woods` alleged ex- mistresses feel they deserve an apology? One, some of the women say they suffered career damage from their alleged Tiger affairs, especially the ex- porn star who claims she left the business for Tiger.

BROGDON: Couldn`t she put out some videos - you know, this is how I did it with Tiger?

ANDERSON: Tiger`s mistresses also demanded an apology because they say Tiger lied to them. In fact, some of them seem to suggest Tiger was cheating on them, too.

GLORIA ALLRED, ATTORNEY FOR JOSLYN JAMES: He led her to believe that she was the only woman in his life other than his wife.

BROGDON: You`ve got to feel sorry for them because, of course, when you meet a married man who picks you up at the club, of course you think that`s the one.

ANDERSON: Finally, some of these alleged mistresses feel they deserve an apology from Tiger for dragging them into firestorm, a firestorm that, it should be noted, the women continue to fan with their various press conferences and major media interviews.

JUNGER: I just don`t want to be known as Tiger Woods` mistress my whole life.

ANDERSON: So far, Tiger Woods is not showing any inclination to even mention the women he had affairs with, much less apologize to them. And comedian Daphne Brogdon tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT this can serve as a cautionary tale to any would-be mistresses out there.

BROGDON: Here`s a lesson to the ladies. Next time you want to have sex with somebody, let`s try not-so-famous, not-so-married and not-so- prolific.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: Like those mistresses who say Tiger`s not done apologizing, we`re not done with this story. Attorney Gloria Allred insists her client, ex-porn star, Joslyn James, absolutely deserves an apology. And that is coming up in our great debate. Should Tiger apologize to his mistresses? Gloria will be right here.

And Tiger may be handing out the big apologies but is he any good at it? Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT brings you the bombastic sex confession showdown. How did Tiger Woods` sex confession stack up to other infamous scandalous sex confusions? We are pitting Tiger in a head-to-head combat with other sex scandal confessions.

Joining me tonight in Hollywood, Howard Bragman who is the founder of Fifteen Minutes PR and the author of this fine book, "Where`s My Fifteen Minutes?" And in New York, Carolina Bermudez, who is the senior editor for "In Touch Weekly."

Hey, Howard, Carolina, I want to begin tonight`s sex confession showdown by pitting Tiger Woods against the one, the only, David Letterman. Now, you may remember that messy extortion plot back in November.

Well, David Letterman fessed up on his show to sleeping with women who worked for him. Howard, Carolina, watch carefully. We`ll play Tiger`s response then David Letterman`s. Here we go.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WOODS: I want to see to each of you simply and directly, I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible and selfish behavior I engaged in.

DAVID LETTERMAN, HOST, "LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN": I have had sex with women who work for me on this show. Now, my response to that is, "Yes, I have." I have had sex with women who work on this show.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Howard, let the smackdown begin. Who delivered their sex scandal confession better, Tiger or Letterman?

HOWARD BRAGMAN, FOUNDER, FIFTEEN MINUTES PR: Now, we know why Tiger`s a golfer and not a TV star, don`t we Brooke? You know, Tiger did something that nobody else did other than maybe Bill Clinton. That is, he stopped the world for 20 minutes to really look at his confession.

But David Letterman`s was better written, better delivered, more sympathetic audience. This one goes to Letterman.

ANDERSON: And yes, Carolina, Letterman definitely gets points for making people laugh while he fessed up, don`t you think?

CAROLINA BERMUDEZ, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": Definitely, he did what he does best. And I think that`s the reason why his audience was so willing to forgive him. Anyone like David Letterman who is going to come out and talk about a scandal, he has to add a little punch to it. And well, I think it was appropriate for him to do that instead of the top 10 list. And people accepted his apology.

ANDERSON: Yes, it certainly was effective. I want to move now to our next big smackdown tonight - Tiger Woods versus Bill Clinton. In `98, President Bill Clinton, after vehemently denying sexual relations with that woman, Monica Lewinsky, finally confessed. Again, watch Tiger`s apology carefully, then Bill.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WOODS: I want to say to each of you, simply and directly, I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible and selfish behavior I engaged in.

BILL CLINTON, FORMER UNITED STATES PRESIDENT: I did have a relationship with Ms. Lewinsky that was not appropriate. In fact, it was wrong. I told the grand jury today and I say to you now, that at no time did I ask anyone to lie, to hide or destroy evidence, or to take any other unlawful action.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Howard, who was better?

BRAGMAN: Well, you have to understand, Tiger Woods was really trying to get back on his game. Bill Clinton was trying to keep from getting impeached. And they had different agendas.

But I think, again, Clinton has got a little better delivery, little better use of the camera, again, better writers. You know, I wasn`t a big fan of Tiger Woods, obviously, in terms of this speech. I think it could have been cut down at least in half. He could have delivered it with more sincerity. He did a lot of things wrong and Bill Clinton did a lot of things right.

ANDERSON: Yes. It was certainly a long speech Tiger gave, about 13 minutes. Carolina, Bill Clinton or Tiger Woods?

BERMUDEZ: I`ve got to go with bill on this on. I mean, there really isn`t any contrition when it comes to the Tiger Woods` confession or for his apology.

You look at Bill Clinton and he says, "What I did was wrong. I did have inappropriate relations with her." But did Tiger even address the issue of his 14-plus or however many mistresses? No. He never even went there. So I feel like there was a lot more sincerity in Bill Clinton`s speech.

ANDERSON: He went there, but it was quick.

BERMUDEZ: Yes.

ANDERSON: "I had affairs. They were unacceptable," basically. OK, next we pit Tiger Woods against New York Governor Eliot Spitzer. He was caught red-handed having an affair with a prostitute. Watch Tiger. Watch Spitzer.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WOODS: I want to say to each of you, simply and directly, I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible and selfish behavior I engaged in.

ELIOT SPITZER, FORMER GOVERNOR OF NEW YORK: I acted in a way that violates my obligations to my family and that violates my or any sense of right and wrong. I apologize first and most importantly to my family. I apologize to the public whom I promised better.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Howard, very quickly, Tiger Woods or Eliot Spitzer.

BRAGMAN: Again, Gov. Spitzer did a better job. An apology is supposed to be a game changer. He left office so he changed the game. So Spitzer wins.

ANDERSON: Carolina?

BERMUDEZ: Yes. You know what? Tiger may be a golf pro, but he is not a pro at making apologies or making public statements. So I`ve got to give this one to Spitzer. It was nice that he had his wife there backing him up, too. That added a little extra.

ANDERSON: Yes. He got points for that. And next time Tiger has to talk to the public, maybe he should sit down with you, Howard Bragman, for a few minutes ahead of time. We`ve got to leave it there for now. Howard Bragman, Carolina Bermudez, thank you, both.

Tonight, the startling Angelina Jolie family reunion. Angelina and her dad, Jon Voight, haven`t really spoken in the past few years.

All right. I`m sugarcoating it. Angelina has been in a battle with her dad. But I can tell you there are dramatic new pictures out today of them hanging out in public.

Also this -

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SEAN PENN, ACTOR: Get out. Get out. Get (EXPLETIVE DELETED) out.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: When stars attacks, caught on tape. Sean Penn goes nuts on a paparazzo and he`s facing serious jail time today for getting into this very nasty fight.

And just in today, the brand-new Sarah Palin-"Family Guy" smackdown. Now, the actress who played the character with Down Syndrome in the episode Palin is furious about is speaking out. You won`t believe what she says about Sarah and her son. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PENN: Get out. Get out. Get the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) out.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Tonight, Oscar winner, Sean Penn, is in some major hot water after this October attack on a paparazzo.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

Tonight Sean Penn`s paparazzi problem is just one of two big stories just in today. Tonight, the video of Penn`s shocking run-in caught on tape posted today on TMZ.com. And now, Sean Penn has been formally charged with a crime.

And more of big news just in today, Charlie Sheen may plead not guilty in the Christmas Day assault against his wife. And she may not even agree to a plea deal. Bad idea?

Joining us tonight in New York is Midwin Charles, who is a legal contributor for "In Session" on our sister network, truTV. Midwin, good to see you.

I want to begin with Sean Penn. He`s been just been formally charged with misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor vandalism after attacking a photographer back in October. Just today, TMZ posted the entire incident caught on tape. It`s pretty disturbing. You`ve got to watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PENN: Get out. Get out. Get the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) out!

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Clearly, Sean is annoyed. And we know that paparazzi can be very aggressive and they can invade your personal space. But this isn`t the first time Penn has had a run-in with a photographer.

He actually served jail time in `87 for another incident. So based on that history, Midwin, do you think that Sean should be worried that he could go back to jail?

MIDWIN CHARLES, CONTRIBUTOR, "IN SESSION": Well, it`s difficult to say. I mean, as you said, it happened in 1987, over 20 years ago. So that might play - it might be an impact but it may be a small one. Difficult to say.

I think one of the most disturbing things about this particular case is that it was caught on video. This camera man was clearly trying to retreat and Sean Penn was clearly the aggressor. I think that, in and of itself, will be more damaging than his past history.

ANDERSON: Well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT reached out to Sean Penn`s spokesperson but did not hear back as of show time. Maybe he needs some anger management classes.

CHARLES: Yes.

ANDERSON: I`m just saying. OK. Yes, I want to move to some more big news breaking, just in today. Charlie Sheen will reportedly plead not guilty after that Christmas Day incident when he allegedly held a knife against his wife`s throat.

And on top of that, he`s apparently not willing to plea bargain. He`s already been charged with third degree assault, criminal mischief. He faces up to eight years if convicted. Midwin, without a plea bargain, is Charlie - is he asking for more trouble here?

CHARLES: I don`t know. I think one of things - he wants to just roll the dice, right? We all know celebrities who often go to trial tend to be favored. You know, jurors tend to love them.

And so I think he`s rolling the dice because, after all, if he takes a plea deal, these are felonies he`s facing. He could be known or will be known as a convicted felon much like Chris Brown - Chris Brown who took the deal for beating his girlfriend, Rihanna. So at least, for now, the attorneys are saying they`re not interested in taking the deal. Who knows, Brooke, the tables can turn?

ANDERSON: Yes. Could change. Well, we reached out to Sheen`s spokesperson about Sheen`s possible plea in court, but did not hear back by show time. Midwin Charles, thank you so much for your insight. We appreciate it.

CHARLES: Sure.

ANDERSON: Dramatic new demands today that Tiger Woods say he`s sorry to all of his alleged mistresses, including the former porn star.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JAMES: I would be open to a telephone apology from Tiger. But I really feel that I deserve to look at him in person, face to face, in his eyes because I didn`t deserve this.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Of course, there are all the cocktail waitresses, too. But do they deserve anything from Tiger? Does he owe them an apology? It`s the great Tiger debate.

Also, just in today, the startling Angelina Jolie family reunion. Angelina and her estranged father, Jon Voight. Tonight, the dramatic pictures out today of them hanging out in public. But why the sudden, dramatic, out-of-the-blue reunion?

And really? Did Stephen Baldwin really call President Obama - his words, not mine - "homey?" That is just so wrong. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Martin Scorsese`s "Shutter Island" wins weekend box office, debuts with $40.2 million in sales. Roman Polanski wins "best director" award at Berlin Film Festival for "Ghost Writer."

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: You probably saw the Tiger Woods TV apology. It was hard to miss, right? Well, right now I`m going to show you the other Tiger apology, this one you may not have seen.

It`s the Tiger who mauled Roy from the famous Vegas act "Siegfried and Roy." Take it away, Jimmy Kimmel.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JIMMY KIMMEL, HOST, "JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE": I would like to apologize to my fans and wife and cubs and I`m deeply sorry for eating Roy. But he was delicious. No questions.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Oh, gosh, that`s terrible. A real white Tiger nearly killed Roy in 2003. And "Siegfried and Roy" show was canceled after that attack.

Well, we`ve been asking stars what they think about Tiger Woods apologies. We just caught up with Wesley Snipes and Don Cheadle while they were out promoting their new movie, "Brooklyn`s Finest." I cannot believe what they said. Take a listen.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: One last question if you choose to answer it. Now, that Tiger Woods has come forward, do you think it`s behind him now?

DON CHEADLE, ACTOR: Hell no. Do you? No. I mean his activities may be behind him, but it`s not behind him. But you know what? He`s going to come back and smash anyway, so whatever. It`s all fuel now.

WESLEY SNIPES, ACTOR: I`ve got no comment at all, man.

CHEADLE: Now, you dry up.

WESLEY: You know how I feel, man.

(CROSS TALK)

Tiger is supposed to be a Tiger. Tiger is supposed to be true to Tiger.

CHEADLE: That`s actually a comment. That`s actually a comment.

SNIPES: I wasn`t supposed to say that.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Wait a minute. Hold on. Is Wesley Snipes saying all of Tiger`s disgusting cheating is no big deal, that he`s just being a Tiger? Oh, no he didn`t. Even if Wesley is kidding, that`s not right.

There is no kidding around on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook wall right now. Look at this. We are getting hundreds and hundreds of posts about Tiger Woods` apology and whether or not he should say he`s sorry to all of his alleged mistresses.

Vanessa C. likes what Tiger had to say, "I believe Tiger Woods` apology was good enough. He was emotional and really talked from the heart."

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

ANDERSON: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m Brooke Anderson, coming to you from Hollywood.

And tonight, the great Tiger debate. Mistress apologies? There is a brand-new call for Tiger Woods to publicly apologize to his all alleged mistresses now that he has apologized to the world for everybody else he offended.

And the call is coming from the women claiming to have had affairs with Tiger, including former porn star Joslyn James who`s claiming her relationship was about more than just sex.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JAMES: I would be open to a telephone apology from Tiger, but I really feel that I deserve to look at him in person, face to face, in his eyes, because I didn`t deserve this.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Joslyn`s attorney, Gloria Allred, is here with us to debate if Tiger really does need to apologize to all his mistresses. She joins me in New York.

Also from New York, Carolina Bermudez, who is a senior editor for "In Touch Weekly." Also, Carolina is co-host of "Elvis Duran and the Morning Show."

Gloria, I want to begin with you. You`re representing Joslyn James whose real name is Veronica, whom we just saw in a press conference with you right after Tiger Woods made his public apology.

I`ve got to ask you, point blank - why do you think she is owed an apology, a direct apology from Tiger?

ALLRED: Well, very simply - because Tiger pursued her. He entered into a three-year relationship - intimate, romantic relationship with her. And during that time, he told her that he loved her, that she was the only one.

He even didn`t want her to be with anyone else during that relationship. And then, when it got tough, he decided that, to protect himself, he would dump her like a hot potato. And then, he has not even called to say he was sorry that he broke her heart and that he lied to her.

BERMUDEZ: Oh, come on.

ANDERSON: Yes. But I think, you know, a mistress` relationship is based on lies and deception. So why would she not think that Tiger was lying to her all along? Well, Carolina, do you buy with Gloria is saying that Joslyn is owed an apology here?

BERMUDEZ: No. I think we need to keep it real here. We`re not looking for an apology. We`re looking for a pay day. All of these women are coming out now because they want to keep their name in the spotlight. They want that fame, that notoriety.

In fact, they should be the ones going around and apologizing to Elin for knowingly going into a relationship with someone who was married and had children. What about that apology? Where do they stand on that issue?

ALLRED: Well, first of all, when you say we`re looking for - I don`t know who you represent. As far as I know, you don`t represent anybody.

BERMUDEZ: I don`t represent anyone. I`m talking about the mistresses out there.

ALLRED: Well, let me just finish. And I represent someone so I`d like to speak for her.

BERMUDEZ: You represent a porn star. There`s no skills out there. I`m sorry, Gloria. It`s hard to be sympathetic.

ALLRED: May I speak without being interrupted? Or do you want to continue to be rude?

ANDERSON: Go ahead, Gloria. Go ahead, Gloria, please.

ALLRED: Let me tell you something. This is a young woman who was pursued by Tiger Woods. He told her he loved her and as recently as September, "I want a lifetime of this." He told her in October of 2009 in a text that, "You please me like no other has or ever will."

When he tells her he loves her and there is no other, and he lies, yes, he needs to apologize to her. And women need to be apologized to when they have their hearts broken by men and when they are lied to.

And I don`t care if they are porn stars, waitresses, secretaries, television commentators or anchors or wives. Men need to take full responsibility for their wrongs.

BERMUDEZ: She needs to take responsibility for her deplorable behavior for how she is being treated now. You know, she was a good-time girl. It lasted for however long it did. Now, she needs to move on and maybe go back and try to reassemble whatever kind of a career that she had.

But to expect an apology from someone because you got into a relationship with them, knowing that they were married and that they had children? You don`t deserve anything from anyone.

BERMUDEZ: So you think that a man should have a license to lie to a woman? He`s having an affair with her -

BERMUDEZ: Gloria, there are men that need to apologize to me if that`s the case, honestly.

ALLRED: You want to defend Tiger not taking full responsibility, acknowledging his responsibility and then apologizing because he has hurt and devastated a young woman. I don`t agree with that. I think he needs to say, "I want your forgiveness and I apologize for how I insulted and lied to you."

BERMUDEZ: Why should he want their forgiveness?

ANDERSON: But at the same time, you know, a mistress is consenting, really, to potentially destroying a marriage and a family. So a lot of people would say, "Why would a mistress deserve an apology for participating in something like that?"

And Gloria, I do want to look at one point in your press conference with Joslyn, a.k.a. Veronica, when you said that Tiger`s rehab would not be effective. This is interesting. Let`s watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ALLRED: Whatever rehab Tiger participates in will not be meaningful or effective unless he acknowledges the relationship that he had with my client, Veronica. He must call her, and better yet, meet with her in person to apologize to her and explain why he lied to her over and over again.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: No doubt that is probably true. And Gloria, she does claim she had a relationship with Tiger. I would argue, you know, that relationship based lies. I personally think Tiger is probably seeking therapy to figure out why he lied over and over again to his wife Elin, not to your client Joslyn, with all due respect. How do you respond to that?

ALLRED: OK. Well, you know, I think he needs to have lying rehab, betrayal rehab -

BERMUDEZ: Probably.

ALLRED: And a course on how to be honest with any woman and every woman in his life. It isn`t, "OK, be honest with your wife and lie to any other women." It`s, "Be honest with every woman in your life and take responsibility." If you acknowledge what you`ve done wrong then say you`re sorry if you`ve done wrong. It`s as simple as that.

And just because someone has an affair doesn`t mean that she should be treated like a doormat and like garbage. They still have to have honest communication. If they don`t have it, the person who`s lied to them needs to say I`m sorry.

BERMUDEZ: How can you have honest communication when your relationship is based on lies? That`s what I`m not understanding. This is Tiger`s world that we`re living in right now. And for him to even address the mistresses, he`s opening up a whole other can of worms.

So you know, personally, I don`t know if they`re ever going to get what they are looking for because, right now, Tiger needs to concentrate on his marriage and salvaging whatever is left of it.

ALLRED: Well, you know what? It is not all about Tiger. It`s not all about golf and his future and his business partners and his sponsors. He`s left this trail of destruction.

He has hurt a woman and that`s why he needs to say he`s sorry. He had enough time to be with her. Now, he can make time to say he`s sorry as well.

ANDERSON: Well, because probably Elin is saying, "Over my dead body will you apologize or contact these mistresses.

BERMUDEZ: Right.

ANDERSON: And you know, Joslyn is not the only alleged mistress asking for an apology today from Tiger. In a brand-new interview with "E," Jamie Junger says that Tiger owes an apology to all of his mistresses. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JUNGER: I think that he should have apologized also to the people that - like myself, his mistresses, that ones that are out here because we`re dealing with a lot of stuff, too.

And yes, that was - I don`t even know how to say how I`m feeling. It`s almost like a joke. An apology to me is crap.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Carolina, very quickly. Should we be sympathetic if she doesn`t get her apology?

BERMUDEZ: It`s difficult to be sympathetic to people who have wrecked a marriage. No, I don`t think that we should be. And I think that these girls are really looking for something that they`re never going to get. Good luck.

ANDERSON: It is hard for me because the same rules to me do not apply to mistress, that do apply to wives. Gloria Allred, Carolina Bermudez, we thank you both for your time. We appreciate it.

ALLRED: We`re not looking for sympathy. We`re looking for an apology.

BERMUDEZ: And money and a payday.

ALLRED: No, we`re not looking for money. Don`t put words into my mouth. That`s false.

ANDERSON: We`ll continue this later. OK, she did not say money. And I can tell you, this war of words between Sarah Palin and Fox`s "Family Guy" really getting uglier today. Sara Palin came out swinging against the show for using her son, who has Down Syndrome, as a punch line.

And now, there`s a brand-new Sarah smackdown today from the actress who played the Down syndrome character on the episode Palin is furious about. You`re not going to believe what she`s saying about Palin right now.

And we`ll have this -

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

STEPHEN BALDWIN, ACTOR: I pray for President Obama every single day. But to tell you what, homey made this bed. Now, he`s got to lay in it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Stephen Baldwin talking smack about the president calling the leader of the free world "homey?" What the heck is this all about?

Plus, the startling Angelina Jolie family reunion. We`ve got the dramatic pictures out today of Angelina`s big reunion estranged dad, Jon Voight. Is this the beginning of a beautiful new relationship after years and years of anger and heartache? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Yes, you heard that right. Stephen Baldwin calling President Obama "homey?" What was he thinking?

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. The outrage today over Baldwin`s bombastic Obama slap in a moment. But first, Angelina`s shocking reunion. I was really surprised when I heard this news today. Angelina finally getting back together with her long estranged father.

Yes, take a look at that. Angelina`s father, Jon Voight with the Jolie Pitt clan over the weekend as they toured Italy. Voight was along for the ride as the family of eight took a boat tour of the Grand Canal in Venice.

All right. Let`s talk about it. Joining me from New York, Midwin Charles, legal contributor to "In Session" on our sister network, TruTV. And from Hollywood, Hyla, who is an entertainment journalist for "5DollarPrep.com."

Midwin, Hyla, I don`t know about you, but this really came as a shock to me, because Angelina and her father have been estranged for the better part of a decade. So when we got this picture for a moment - I was looking at it wondering if it had been Photoshopped.

I think it`s terrific they appear to have patched things up. Hyla, when Angelina and Brad go out, they know there will be cameras. So were you as surprised as I was to see this?

HYLA, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST, "5DOLLARPREP.COM": Absolutely. Because even recently, I still heard them kind of chattering about Angelina in the press which surprised me if he really wanted to get with his daughter.

But everything that Brangelina does is very calculated. There`s a reason for this. There`s a reason for this photo op.

ANDERSON: Yes.

HYLA: I can`t figure out what the reason is quite yet. I`m sure it will reveal itself soon. But there`s a reason why we saw him with them together in Italy.

ANDERSON: Yes. In due time, I`m sure it will all be revealed, Hyla. Well, the last time that I chatted with Jon Voight, it was shortly after Angelina adopted her third child, Pax, from Vietnam. I asked him where his relationship with Angelina was at that point. Watch what he told me.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JON VOIGHT, ACTOR: I send my daughter my love and certainly my prayers. And she does a lot of wonderful things on behalf of other people. I`m impressed with that aspect of her life. And I always wish her well with Brad and their child and their children - I wish them well, too.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Now, Jon Voight never been shy to talk about his he estrangement from Angelina. She, on the other hand, never talked about it. Midwin, I`m guessing that Voight now knows he needs to tread lightly, really earn Angelina`s trust.

CHARLES: I think so too. And I think, look, what`s at work here at the end of the day is family. I`m hoping that Jon Voight is reconciled with Angelina so that he could be around his grandchildren. Lord knows, he has a whole bunch. And so I think that`s one of the reasons why we`re probably seeing this photo. Perhaps, it`s not as calculated as Hyla has suggested. It could just be that they reconciled.

HYLA: Of course it is. Everything they do is calculated.

(CROSS TALK)

ANDERSON: Maybe those kids just wanted a grandpa in Jon Voight.

CHARLES: Yes.

ANDERSON: You`re right. OK. I think it`s great they have settled their feud. But let me tell you about another feud that flared up again today. I`m talking about the word wars between Sarah Palin and "Family Guy."

Palin is furious that "Family Guy" seemed to use her nearly two-year- old son Trig, who has Down syndrome, as a punch line. Well, today, listen to this. We`re hearing from the actress who voiced the part of the Down syndrome character in the episode.

That actress also has Down syndrome and she tells "The New York Times," "I`m like, `I`m not Trig. This is my life. I was making fun of Sarah Palin but not her son.`"

And she also says, quote, "My mother did not carry me around under her arm like a loaf of French bread the way Former Governor Sarah Palin carries her son Trig around looking for sympathy and votes."

Midwin, accusing Palin of carrying Trig under her arm like a loaf of French bread, looking for sympathy and votes. That is arguably as offensive as the "Family Guy" episode.

CHARLES: Well, I certainly see her point. Look, I think - you know, kudos for "The Family Guy" for hiring a real actress with real Down syndrome and for playing that part.

You know, I saw the clip and wasn`t offended by it. I thought the woman or the character was very strong and opinionated. You know, it wasn`t as though they were poking fun with people with Down syndrome. Rather, the opposite.

They were showing someone with Down syndrome who has a normal life. I mean, I`m sorry for Sarah Palin, but there are people out there with Down syndrome who have a normal life and they ought to be shown on television.

ANDERSON: They are strong people. Yes. I interpreted it a little bit differently and thought it did cross the line. And in terms of Palin carrying her son, Trig, around, I hope it`s to be close and shower him with love and affection, because boy, that would be wrong if it were not.

Well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has reached out to Sarah Palin for her reaction. As of show time, we have not heard from her.

Somebody else making some outrageous remarks today - Stephen Baldwin. The reality TV star just showed up at the Conservative Political Action Conference. You`ve got to hear what he said about President Obama. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BALDWIN: I mean, (UNINTELLIGIBLE). I`m not happy about the way things are. I pray for President Obama every single day. But to tell you what, homey made this bed. Now, he`s got to lay in it. So -

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Homey being President Obama?

BALDWIN: That`s correct. That`s correct.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Hyla, what do you think? Was he just trying to be cool by referring to President Obama as homey? Or did he just stick his foot in his mouth big time? Very quickly.

HYLA: Yes. This is old people trying to be cool. And sometimes, you get really ugly results. And this is a perfect example. Listen, I`m all about people and freedom of speech. And you can say whatever you want about the president. But with that responsibility comes the chance you can sound really stupid and of course, homey -

ANDERSON: Yes. You`ve got to think before you speak and show some respect for the president of the United States. Midwin Charles, Hyla, thank you both. Good to see you.

ANDERSON: So tonight, is Simon Cowell`s heart melting? There are brand new reports the famously cold-hearted "American Idol" judge is about to pop the question to his girlfriend.

We fired up the SHOWBIZ truth squad for this one. Simon`s rep tells "People" magazine the couple has known each other a long time and they`ve been dating for the past year. So has Simon found the one?

The SHOWBIZ truth squad can tell you, the answer is no, at least for now. Simon`s rep, who is himself engaged, tells "People" magazine he recently asked Simon if there might be two weddings this year.

And here`s how he describes the conversation with Simon, "Normally he would say, `Don`t be so ridiculous,` or `In your wildest dreams.` But he said, `Who knows?`"

Wow. Such a cagey answer from the normally blunt Simon. I guess we are all just going to have to wait and see if Simon does tie the knot.

On Friday, we asked you to vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. Moments ago, we did get those final results. "Tiger Breaking His Silence: Are you ready to forgive him?" Forty-six percent, yes; 54 percent of you say no.

Here are some of the E-mails we received. Sue from Oklahoma, "Tiger`s problems are not my business. His wife and family members are the ones to forgive him."

Denean from Pennsylvania writes, "Who are we to judge another human being for their behavior when each and every one of us has done something in our lives that has been very shameful? I forgave Tiger Woods from day one."

We do appreciate your E-mails. Please keep them coming.

And that is a wrap for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thanks for watching. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Don`t forget, you can catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on the 11:00s - 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific, also in the morning, 11:00 a.m. Eastern here on HLN.
