(MUSIC PLAYING)

ANDERSON: Hi there. I`m Brooke Anderson, coming to you tonight from Hollywood. And tonight, big news breaking - Charlie Sheen, the star of the biggest sitcom on television, has entered rehab and left the show for now. The latest from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom on this still breaking story in just a moment.

But first, the Johnny Depp murder mystery breaking today. It is a story with a plot so bizarre you might think Johnny Depp was considering starring in a big-screen version of it.

Three boys, all eight years old, killed in a satanic ritual. Three teenagers convicted of murdering them in such a gruesome way it`s hard to describe. I don`t want to describe it. It`s so horrific.

Today, we learned that Johnny Depp is not only fighting to get the convicted men released from prison. But the normally very private star will be going on national television to make his case.

It is a dramatic story packed with nonstop bizarre twists and turns. And now that Johnny Depp is personally involved, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you it made for big news breaking today.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

JOHNNY DEPP, ACTOR: I firmly believe that Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley are totally innocent.

ANDERSON (voice over): It might be Johnny Depp`s most shocking appearance yet. The notoriously private actor is making an extremely rare appearance on a TV news magazine show, CBS News` "48 Hours Mystery" for a cause he`s passionate about, freeing three prisoners dubbed the West Memphis Three. Depp says they were wrongly convicted of beating three small boys to death.

KIM SERAFIN, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": It`s very odd to see Johnny Depp, an A-list celebrity who does not talk to the press - he is very famously private - appearing in this special -

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: The crime was horrific because of the victims and how innocent they were.

ANDERSON: Saturday`s edition of CBS` "48 Hours Mystery" titled "A Cry for Innocence," recounts the sickening crime that horrified the nation. In 1993, the bodies of three eight-year-old boys were found in a creek in West Memphis, Arkansas. One of the boys was dismembered.

SERAFIN: It was a very brutal murder.

ANDERSON: Three teenagers, Jason Baldwin, Jessie Miskelley and Damien Echols they were soon arrested and charged with the killings which the prosecutors painted as a satanic ritual. But Depp tells "48 Hours" there was a rush to judgment.

DEPP: There was a need for swift justice to placate the frightened community.

ANDERSON: Still, in 1994, the three teens were convicted of the crime. Jason Baldwin and Jessie Miskelley were sentenced to life. But alleged ringleader, Damien Echols, received an even harsher penalty - death.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We, the jury, find Damien Echols guilty of capital murder.

ANDERSON: In the 16 years since their conviction, the West Memphis Three had gained a steady stream of supporters who say their trial was unfair and the physical evidence against them was nonexistent. Their cause soon reached Hollywood.

SERAFIN: Some celebrities had come out and supported these three men.

ANDERSON: The case was profiled in an HBO documentary, "Paradise Lost." And stars, such as the Dixie Chicks and Pearl Jam`s Eddie Vedder have come out in support of the West Memphis Three.

LARRY KING, HOST, "LARRY KING LIVE": How does that make you feel?

DAMIEN ECHOLS, CONVICTED IN "MEMPHIS THREE" KILLINGS: Grateful, appreciative, thankful, more so than I could ever begin to articulate.

ANDERSON: Back in 2007, Damien Echols, who is on death row for the killings, told CNN`s Larry King live from prison that he`s happy to have the celebrity support.

KING: Do you think you`re going to be free someday?

ECHOLS: I believe that, yes. I`m absolutely convinced of that.

DEPP: The urgency on this is Damien Echols is on death row and to be killed by lethal injection.

ANDERSON: And now, Johnny Depp, who is making the media rounds to promote his new Disney film, "Alice in Wonderland," is taking the cause of the West Memphis Three to another level.

SERAFIN: Obviously, advocating for the release three alleged murderers convicted in a satanic ritual is probably not a Disney strategy for promoting movies. Johnny Depp knows that when he goes out to promote this movie, people are going to pay attention.

ANDERSON: But Depp and his fellow West Memphis Three supporters have an uphill battle. Authorities insist the West Memphis Three are guilty. And courts have repeatedly rejected appeals for a new trial, most recently last month. But the question is, could a high-profile boost from a superstar like Depp make the difference?

SERAFIN: Obviously, putting more attention on the case could help release these three men. He understands that as a huge box office star, as a huge movie star, he can make a difference.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: Well, a lot of people just don`t get why Johnny Depp is going to bat for three convicted murderers. And there`s also big news breaking tonight, Charlie Sheen enters rehab. Let`s get to it all.

Joining me tonight in Hollywood is Hyla who is an entertainment journalist for "5DollarPrep.com." Also tonight in New York, Midwin Charles, who is a legal contributor for "In Session" on our sister network, Tru TV.

Hyla, Midwin, this is pretty darn astonishing to me. Johnny Depp, notoriously private, and yet, here he is stepping up and on CBS` "48 Hours" calling the case of the West Memphis Three to be reopened. Watch this -

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DEPP: I firmly believe Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Miskelley are totally innocent. There was a need for swift justice to placate the frightened community.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: I`ve got to say, I was pretty shocked today to hear that Johnny`s going out on a limb like this. Midwin, could Depp`s star power really help the West Memphis Three here?

MIDWIN CHARLES, LEGAL CONTRIBUTOR, "IN SESSION": It`s entirely possible. I mean, he`s not particularly going out too much on a limb. Other stars have also aligned and come to support these three guys.

So I think what he`s doing is kind of just falling in, lock and step. But I think he`s such a huge star, has so much wattage that I think just drawing attention to the issue might help out their case or at least let people know about it.

ANDERSON: Well, it certainly gripped a nation. It was a disgusting, disgusting crime. Three little boys brutally, brutally murdered.

I do want to move now to a bombshell development in the Charlie Sheen saga breaking today. Late today, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT learned Charlie Sheen, star of TV`s biggest comedy, "Two and a Half Men," has entered rehab.

This is absolutely stunning. And in a brand-new statement to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Charlie Sheen`s spokesperson says this, "As a preventative measure, Charlie Sheen has entered a rehabilitation facility. He will take some time off the series `Two and a Half Men.` He has asked that his privacy be honored. No further statements are planned."

Hyla, what a remarkable about-face for Charlie who has been insisting that he`s been fine since his arrest on charges that he allegedly beat his wife who`s also in rehab.

HYLA, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST, "5DOLLARPREP.COM": When you`re facing the possibly of eight years of jail time, it`s amazing the kind of revelations you can have. This doesn`t surprise me and this doesn`t shock me.

I mean, Charlie Sheen`s track record is there for all of us to see. And you know what? Hopefully, this is a rock-bottom situation for him, because it`s not just him now. It`s a family. It`s twins, his baby twins, like he needs to step up and figure this out. They both do. They need to figure out what the hell is wrong with them and fix it.

ANDERSON: Yes. If not for themselves, for the sake of those nearly one- year-old precious twin baby boys. And you guys, this is all happening at the very same time more big news is breaking involving Charlie`s wife and her stay in rehab.

In yet another shocking new development today, Sheen`s wife, Brooke Mueller, checked out of rehab after claims that a staffer leaked personal details about her. Her attorney tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - you`ve got to listen to this - quote, "A lawsuit is being planned against The Canyon Rehab Facility because of their breach of client confidentiality and their total lack of professionalism in their treatment and care of Brooke. I`m going to make them pay like you can`t believe for screwing over my client. You can quote me on that."

If this is true, I certainly do not blame him for being so outraged. Now, Midwin, Canyon has not commented as of show time. But are you with me when I say that it would be an atrocious violation of privacy if this indeed happened, if details were leaked?

CHARLES: It is. I mean, at the end of the day, the people that go to Canyon and facilities similar to it are suffering. They`re in trouble. The last thing they want is for the entire world to know about it. And frankly, Canyon has a duty here, to everyone that goes to them, to keep that information confidential.

I hope Yale Galanter goes ahead and sues them if the allegations are correct and gets a ton of money because this cannot continue.

ANDERSON: No, Hyla, this cannot continue. Are you with me, if, indeed this is true, they should pay. No one - no one should enter a rehab facility and worry that their personal information is going to be leaked?

HYLA: I agree with you on that, but to me, it`s secondary. I mean, the reality is, if you don`t want your information leaked, you don`t put yourself in the position to go to rehab. She put herself there.

(CROSS TALK)

CHARLES: I disagree. I disagree.

ANDERSON: She`s trying to fix herself.

CHARLES: Yes, exactly. A rehab facility is akin to going to get medical care. And that does not necessarily mean that people who get medical care -

ANDERSON: You`ve got to go - you`ve got to go if you`ve got a problem. Hyla and Midwin Charles, thank you both for your insight. We appreciate it.

Wow, Lindsay Lohan making explosive new revelations today about her sex life and drug use. Get this - she is blaming her dad for first getting her started on cocaine. And I can`t believe what she`s saying about her lesbian love life. Will she ever date men again?

Also, big "American Idol" bombshells just in today. Simon Cowell finally setting the record straight once and for all - is he getting married?

And a furious booted "Idol" contestant demands to be put back on the show. But does he have a shot?

DE VITO: I`m the troll guy. This is Anderson cooper`s office? I thought he`d have a bigger office.

MINEO: What`s in a beautiful foot?

DE VITO: Who said it was beautiful? It`s a troll foot, for crying out loud. What do you expect it to be? As pretty as your feet?

MINEO: This is CNN Money.

DE VITO: Really?

MINEO: It`s not.

DE VITO: You could touch it if you want.

MINEO: I don`t want to touch it.

DE VITO: Clean as a whistle.

MINEO: Thank you for the offer, but -

DE VITO: You could eat off that foot.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

ANDERSON: We welcome you back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m Brooke Anderson, coming to you from Hollywood.

And tonight, the big news breaking today about Lindsay Lohan`s drug and lesbian confessions. Lohan, making some absolutely explosive confessions today about her cocaine use and her sex life.

I`ve got to tell you, my jaw dropped when I read this no-holds-barred interview out today that Lindsay did with the British newspaper, "The Sun." Wait until you hear what she`s got to say about abusing cocaine and the dramatic connection to her own father, Michael Lohan.

And also breaking today, the incredible Facebook fury over Tiger Woods` alleged mistresses asking for an apology. We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the unprecedented outrage we saw today after SHOWBIZ TONIGHT reported on the growing demands by Tiger`s alleged mistresses. And he also told them, he`s sorry.

Joining me tonight from Hollywood, Hyla who is an entertainment journalist with "5DollarPrep.com." In New York is Midwin Charles who is a legal contributor for "In Session" on our sister network, Tru TV.

Hyla, Midwin, I`ve got to begin with Lindsay Lohan`s brand-new revelations today about how she claims her father, Michael, first introduced her to cocaine.

Lindsay told the "Sun," quote, "I was only aware of cocaine because of my dad. I was terrified of it. But I tried it because I was stubborn, stupid, and wanted to see what it was like. It`s not something I ever want to do again. It made me feel like (EXPLETIVE DELETED). It became uninteresting to me. I`m hyper anyway and I have that kind of personality, so I don`t need something like that."

Let us all remember Lindsay got arrested, went to rehab several times and this is the very first time that she is revealing such specific details about her drug use.

So Midwin, granted, Michael Lohan has not been a great father. But is it wrong to point fingers at him and not take responsibility for your own actions?

CHARLES: Well, I don`t know. I mean, I think she has taking responsibility for her own actions just by admitting that she has a problem. I mean, that`s the first step, right, getting over the denial.

But I just can`t believe that her father would introduce her to drugs. I mean, fathers are supposed to raise their children and protect them and leave them so that they can become contributing members of society, not introduce them to a life of drugs.

ANDERSON: Well, speaking of that, we did reach out to Michael Lohan and he didn`t address Lindsay`s claim directly but, instead, suggested this was all somehow related to his nasty divorce from Dina Lohan.

In this brand-new interview out today, Lindsay also opens up about going to rehab saying, "I went to rehab three times. The first time I checked myself in because I had taken Ambien. It`s a sleeping aid, but it makes you hallucinate. I`d run a bath and fallen asleep on the floor and the bath had overflowed. When I woke up, I was so scared. I called my therapist and said, `Can I just go somewhere for a month?`"

She really seems to be talking here about hitting rock-bottom. Again, she`s never revealed this kind of stuff before. Hyla, I`m wondering, why now? And why make these revelations to a British tabloid? I don`t get it.

This is somebody who used to be getting calls from "Vanity Fair" to do this sort of in-depth interviews.

HYLA: That`s the very first question I ask myself. It`s why "The Sun?" I mean, this is a tabloid magazine has written a lot of nasty stuff about her, stuff that`s probably a lie.

While she`s sitting there, I`m sure, Oprah would take her, right? Or Barbara Walters or someone like that. This makes no sense.

ANDERSON: But would they take her? That`s the question.

HYLA: Yes. Of course, they would. I mean, come on. She`s still on the cover of all tabloids all the time. We talk about her on this show. She`s very, very relevant.

I mean, her career is stalled out. But Lindsay Lohan as a person, we still want to know what`s going on.

ANDERSON: Yes. Interesting choice for her to sit down and reveal all of these things to the "The Sun." And it wasn`t just drugs that Lindsay talked about. For the very first time, she is talking openly about her turbulent love life with her on-again, off-again girlfriend, DJ Samantha Ronson.

In the new interview today, Lindsay says, "I never really thought about women before. It just kind of happened with Samantha. It surprised me. If I wasn`t with Samantha, I would probably be with a boy next. She`s the only woman I`ve been attracted to. We love each other. We might reconcile the relationship, maybe."

Midwin, is this just too much, maybe, too much information from Lindsay? I mean, come on. Get back to work. Make a movie, Lindsay. Focus on the talent. Tap into the talent that we know is there.

CHARLES: You know, Brooke, that`s interesting. You`re right. She should go back to acting. At least, that`s what she`s known for. And it`s her money maker. Lord knows she probably hasn`t made a lot of money since she kind of dropped out of acting.

But she could be at a point in her life where she just needs to talk about what she`s been through for the past two, three years. Let`s face, it has not been an easy ride for her. So I actually commend her for coming out and talking about these things. Albeit it may have been to "The Sun" and it might not have been on Oprah`s couch, as I always say, which is the path to redemption. But nonetheless, she probably just needed, at this moment, to be a chatty Cathy and get it all out.

ANDERSON: Yes. Maybe Oprah`s couch is the next step. This could be therapeutic for her. I commend her as well. But also, I don`t want her to let personal drama distract her from her career and from really getting her life back on track.

OK. I`ve got to move now to the Facebook fury today over Tiger`s mistresses who are calling for him to apologize publicly to them. We had a steamy-hot debate right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with Gloria Allred, who`s client, Joslyn James, claims she was one of Tiger`s mistresses and Carolina Bermudez, who is a senior editor with "In Touch Weekly." You`ve got to watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GLORIA ALLRED, ATTORNEY FOR JOSLYN JAMES: When he tells her he loves her and there is no other and he lies, yes, he needs to apologize to her.

BERMUDEZ: She needs to take responsibility for her deplorable behavior and for how she`s being treated. Now, she was a good-time girl. It lasted for however long it did. Now, she needs to move on and maybe go back and try to reassemble whatever kind of a career she had.

But to expect an apology from someone because you got into a relationship with them, knowing that they were married and that they had children, you don`t deserve anything from anyone.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Wow. OK. Well, also this sparked a really unprecedented response on our Facebook wall. Glendene G. writes what I feel and what a whole lot of other people feel, actually, quote, "Sorry Gloria, when a woman is cheating with a married man, she does not deserve a thing from him. She needs to go to church and pray for forgiveness. She was a mistress, not a girlfriend" - exclamation point, point, point.

Hyla, do you get why people are so riled up about this?

HYLA: Yes, absolutely. First, props to Carolina. She put her feet down on Gloria Allred. I want to say, well done there. And you know what? I completely get what everyone`s saying. It`s a gray area, though.

I mean, Tiger`s first priority is his wife, Elin, and, of course, his kids. That`s priority number one but does that automatically dismiss a two or three-year relationship with someone else? That`s, I think, where everyone is kind of getting confused on, like, where do we fall on this?

ANDERSON: So are you saying the mistresses deserve an apology, Hyla?

HYLA: She`s a porn star. It`s really hard for me to see her and defend that.

ANDERSON: Well, you know, besides the hundreds of comments we did get on Facebook, we asked in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day if he should apologize to his mistresses. Take a look at this - a whopping 88 percent said no.

CHARLES: Wow.

ANDERSON: Midwin, do you think all these alleged mistresses will ever hear an apology from Tiger Woods? By the way, that 12 percent who said yes - I`m surprised it was actually that high. I think it may have been the actual mistresses weighing in with their votes.

CHARLES: I think it will be a long day before they hear an apology from Tiger. Look, I`m not particularly sure that I understand what the apology ought to be. Is it going to be, "I`m sorry that you were not the only one?" Hello? They already knew that. He was married and had children. So what is the apology that they`re looking for?

HYLA: It doesn`t really matter. Elin will not allow it.

ANDERSON: I`m pretty confused, too, all based on lies and deception.

HYLA: He can`t do it because of her.

CHARLES: It doesn`t make any sense. Their relationship was predicated on a lie.

ANDERSON: Midwin, Hyla - you hit the nail on the head. Doesn`t make any sense. OK. Thank you both, guys, Hyla and Midwin Charles. We`re going to leave it there.

And tonight, breaking "American Idol" news. An outraged former "Idol" contestant calls up the media to put pressure on the show to take him back. Chris Golightly, who made the top 24 but got the boot, is demanding another chance. Well, this is a first. But will it work?

Plus, are Simon Cowell`s bachelor days really numbered? Tonight, we settle this once and for all. Is Simon getting married?

Tonight, wrestling`s biggest star engulfed in flames. It`s the startling incident that happened on TV as millions watched. The Undertaker on fire. It`s a video you`ve just got to see and we`ve got it.

Plus a big "Jersey Shore" smackdown today. Major fireworks on the "The View."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BEHAR: I`d like to point out Snooki is not Italian.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: What - OK.

BEHAR: They`re not all Italian-Americans.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: HLN`s own Joy Behar grills the cast of "Jersey Shore." The controversy on how they make Italians look, their sex life. even their hair. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: "Heroes" star Adrian Pasdar charged with drunk driving after January arrest. Miley Cyrus named as a presenter at this year`s Academy Awards.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Tonight, big news about Ryan Phillippe getting dumped by the one he allegedly left his wife for. Has Simon Cowell put a ring on it? And freaking Kardashian news, - Kim, Kourtney and Khloe are all making history today. It`s all making for big news in the buzz today.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice over): The Kardashians are kings. Ratings just in revealed the season finale of the fourth season of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" on E! was a record-breaking blockbuster.

Nearly five million viewers watched the finale. That`s an all-time record for any show ever on E! And just as the show was breaking records Kourtney Kardashian is denying she is breaking up with Scott Disick, the father of their two-month-old child.

Kourtney is contradicting reports the two are over saying, "It`s not true."

Ryan`s over Abbie. Or is it the other way around? Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish have both just confirmed they have split up. Cornish`s rep says she`s ending her more than three-year relationship with Phillippe which went public after Ryan left his ex-wife, Reese Witherspoon. Abbie`s rep says Abbie ended the relationship, but Ryan`s rep claims he was the one who broke things off.

Did Simon Cowell put a ring on it? Cowell`s rep is setting the record straight about all those reports the "American Idol" judge has just gotten engaged to his girlfriend, Mezghan Hussainy.

Cowell`s rep tells "People.com" that Simon is not engaged, yet. He says that`s what Simon told him. But also, wouldn`t be surprised if Simon did pop the question pretty soon.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

And Simon Cowell`s not the only big "Idol" news creating big buzz today. It`s fireworks as the cast of "Jersey Shore" go on "The View" today as well. HLN`s own Joy Behar attacked the self-proclaimed guido cast about their sex lives, their hair and even whether they`re really Italian.

And an outraged "American Idol" contestant who was disqualified for having a record deal held a news conference today demanding to be let back into the competition. This is absolutely unprecedented.

Joining me tonight in Hollywood, Rachel Zalis, who is a contributing editor of "Life and Style Weekly." Also tonight in Hollywood, Ken Baker, who is the executive news editor for "E! Entertainment." Good to see you both.

And hey, tonight was the night "American Idol" started putting out there the final 12 male contestants. But one guy not there was a very outraged Chris Golightly. He recently sang his heart out on "Idol" and made it to the top 24 and then promptly disqualified. TMZ was at his presser today where he actually sang. Listen to this.

(SINGING)

ANDERSON: He is good. Now, Chris was kicked off the show because he had signed a record deal. He says it was not a current contract. But it`s a big no, no, no for "Idol" contestants.

But today, he says that contract was only for a month. Rachel, does he have a right to be outraged here?

RACHEL ZALIS, CONTRIBUTING EDITOR, "LIFE AND STYLE WEEKLY": Absolutely. I mean, his last name might be "Golightly" but he certainly is not. And I mean, if I were him, I would also be doing everything I can to get back on that show.

His story cannot help but pull your heartstrings. He was orphaned. He was passed around to foster care. He had a failed boy band. He finally gets the biggest chance of his life and it`s slammed in his face, that door. And his contract did legally let him out by the time he auditioned. So I`m campaigning for him, too. They let 13 in before. Why not now?

ANDERSON: Ken, let`s face it. We know that "American Idol" loves seizing the opportunity to generate publicity. So is there a chance that "Idol" would take him back?

KEN BAKER, EXECUTIVE NEWS DIRECTOR, "E! ENTERTAINMENT": Well, I don`t think so. I mean, look, they won`t even take Paula Abdul back. A lot of people loved her.

ANDERSON: Oh, bummer.

BAKER: They`re not going to take this guy back. And I have to say this press conference, you know, it wasn`t exactly the Tiger Woods press conference.

I heard there were like three members of the media there. So I mean, I think this guy was just trying to get his 15 minutes and he really only got 15 seconds, so he`s done.

ANDERSON: But that three members of the media that may be some other aspiring singer didn`t have.

(CROSS TALK)

And you know, if he`s ineligible, he`s ineligible. Rules are rules. But if they can find a loophole, I say, get him back on the show.

OK. I want to move now to another explosive new story today. HLN`s own Joy Behar takes on the cast of "The Jersey Shore." Snooki, The Situation, the whole crew appeared on "The View" today.

But Joy didn`t give them an easy time. She didn`t believe they were all Italians. She even grilled them about their sex lives. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BEHAR: When you have sex on this show - I see there`s a lot of sex. Do you use condoms?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes. Just so you know I`m 100 percent Italian, just from that other question before. And I do use protection as well.

BEHAR: In the hot tub?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes.

BEHAR: (INAUDIBLE) the thing can come off in a hot tub.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Rachel, we know the "Jersey Shore" has had a whole lot of critics. But I don`t think I`ve actually seen them get grilled like this. I say, "Go, Joy." What do you think?

ZALIS: Oh, no way! Come on. This is not McCain back on the couch. I know they`re trying to get more contentious and more political. But these are a bunch of crazy kids on a reality show. They never signed up to be, you know, the poster children for Italian. They`re just having a wild summer on the beach.

ANDERSON: And they`ve never presented themselves as anything serious. Well, Joy also took issue with the fact many of the self-proclaimed guidos are not actually Italians. She even called Snooki out. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BEHAR: I have to point out that Snooki is not Italian.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: What - OK.

BEHAR: They`re not all Italian-Americans, I`d like to just say that.

ELISABETH HASSELBECK, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": Are you Italian?

NICOLE "SNOOKI" POLIZZI, CAST MEMBER, "THE JERSEY SHORE": Sicilian, but more of a Chilean.

(CROSS TALK)

BEHAR: Well, you`re Sicilian. That would make you Italian.

POLIZZI: But not that much.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: OK. I`ve got to point out, Joy is Italian-American herself. And Snooki - mostly Chilean. Ken, I`m thinking the cast of "The Jersey Shore" just was not expecting the wrath of Joy. Quickly, did they deserve it?

BAKER: Well, look, it`s the spirit of the game. You know what? Don`t let the facts get in the say a good story. They`re living the lifestyle. That`s what it is all about.

And I have to say, you know, as far as the show goes - "The Jersey Shore" is sort of like ice dancing at the Olympics. You either get and you love it. Or you don`t get it at all and you think it is the strangest thing you never want to see it again. So I think that people just (INAUDIBLE) wildly different sides of that. Yes.

ANDERSON: Yes, one extreme or another. I`ve got to say the cast are kind of growing on me. All right. Rachel Zalis, Ken Baker, good to see you guys. Thanks.

And tonight the wrestling world`s biggest star engulfed in flames. It is the startling incident that happened on TV as millions watched. What`s really even more remarkable is what happened afterwards. It`s the video you`ve got to see and we have it. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Michael Jackson`s movie musical, "Captain EO," returns to Disneyland. Court to reconsider fine for Janet Jackson`s 2004 "wardrobe malfunction."

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ANNOUNCER: Everyone, the champion.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Just into today, the WWE`s biggest star, The Undertaker, is burned in a freak accident. The alarming incident happened during a pay- per-view event as millions of people watched and what`s really remarkable is what happened after.

WWE fans know The Undertaker always enters the wrestling ring in dramatic fashion through a huge ring of fire. But at Sunday`s match, something went horribly wrong. The Undertaker was engulfed in a fireball when the fire effect went off a little too early.

His jacket went up in flames. As you can see, The Undertaker took off the jacket, jumped into the ring, and believe it or not, continued with the fight. The Undertaker was not severely burned.

In fact, listen to this - the doctor at ringside says that The Undertaker`s burn from those giant flames was not any worse than getting a bad sunburn. Holy smokes. Seriously, though, kids, never play with fire. Too dangerous.

Tonight, Woody Harrelson`s Oscar confessions. Woody nominated for an Academy Award for his fantastic performance in "The Messenger." Woody, who has been an outspoken war opponent, has said publicly playing a soldier really changed his life.

For the first time, Woody reveals that it has also been life-changing to be nominated for an Oscar. Woody tells Ellen DeGeneres in a brand-new interview that his mom put it all into perspective.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ELLEN DEGENERES, HOST, "THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW": Are you the kind of person that you just, like, are glad to be nominated? Are you thinking -

WOODY HARRELSON, ACTOR: Yes, I look at nominated - being nominated as a win. I have to think that way. I think that my chances of winning are probably about less than one percent.

DEGENERES: Less than one percent?

HARRELSON: Yes.

DEGENERES: So if you win, you`ll be flipping out?

HARRELSON: Oh, yes.

DEGENERES: You`re different.

HARRELSON: You`re lucky just to be nominated with all these guys. In fact, I got a note from my mom. And she said, "You finally arrived. You`ve been nominated in the same category as Christopher Plummer."

DEGENERES: Wow.

HARRELSON: So I got my mom`s approval, which is enough, you know what I mean?

DEGENERES: Yes, that`s sweet.

HARRELSON: She`s happy.

DEGENERES: That`s sweet.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: That`s really cute. You can see Woody`s entire interview on "Ellen" Wednesday. And of course, you will find out if Woody wins best supporting actor on March 7th.

Here are some the E-mails. Gwen from Texas, "Not only no, but hell no."

Lucy from Maryland, "No way should Tiger apologize to his mistresses for anything."

Teresa from Wyoming, "Tiger should not talk or even respond to these women. Go on with your life and learn from this."

That`s it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thanks so much for watching. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Take care.
