A.J. HAMMER, HLN HOST: Big news, breaking today, on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - Jesse James strikes back. The dramatic plea today from Jesse`s camp to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - leave Jesse alone.

But wait, there`s more. The take-no-prisoners great debates today. Do you have any sympathy for Sandra Bullock`s hubby? And is Jesse James` reported sex rehab a total cop-out?

Jennifer Aniston`s career crisis? Brand-new reports today that her latest movie is a flop. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask, is Aniston in trouble or in transition?

And can Rosie O`Donnell really replace Oprah Winfrey? Today, Donald Trump weighs in.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DONALD TRUMP, BUSINESS TYCOON: Oprah`s fantastic and an amazing woman. And Rosie is just not a good person. She`s a bully.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer, coming to you from New York City.

BROOKE ANDERSON, HLN HOST: Hi, there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - Sandra`s hubby strikes back.

For the very first time today, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is hearing at length directly from Jesse James` camp. And the message is this - leave Jesse alone. James is now a rehab clinic in Arizona that specializes in sex addiction.

And in a powerful statement to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, his attorney is basically saying there are much more important things to talk about than Jesse`s alleged serial cheating on Sandra Bullock.

And in another swipe not even America`s Founding Fathers could have imagined, James` attorney is making his case by citing the First Amendment.

And oh, did we mentioned that picture of Jesse James dressed as a Nazi?

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON (voice-over): It`s official. Sandra Bullock`s husband, Jesse James, now may be the most hated man in America since, well, the bank robber Jesse James.

Today, reports and innuendos about his alleged affairs are getting even more disturbing. And those pictures of Jesse James in "Us Weekly" giving a "Heil, Hitler" salute while wearing Nazi memorabilia are getting him slammed harder.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Jesse James two weeks ago was a dog that cheated on America`s sweetheart. And now, apparently, he`s a dog that cheated on America`s sweetheart wearing Nazi clothes.

ANDERSON: Now, today, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you this outlaw, Jesse James, is fed up with being a wanted man for his alleged cheating, Nazi posing, and general bad boy behavior.

He`s rustled up his posse and they`ve come straight to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT today to defend James, explain that Nazi photo and to send a message to all the Jesse haters out there.

KIM SERAFIN, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": He basically wants people to leave him alone.

ANDERSON: James` spokeswoman confirms to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that Jesse James is in a treatment facility to, quote, "deal with his personal issues and to help save his marriage to Bullock."

And in an expansive and blunt conversation with SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, James` attorney, Joe Yanny, tells us, quote, "I would request that his rights in regards to privacy and his medical matters be respected."

He adds, "I wish people would get on with the things contemplated by the drafters of the First Amendment and leave Mr. James alone already."

SERAFIN: It`s always a good thing when you`re defending your celebrity client to invoke the First Amendment and, certainly, to invoke the founding fathers.

ANDERSON: And about the Nazi photos featured in "Us Weekly," James` attorney, Joe Yanny, admits to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT it was in poor taste. But Yanny says the hat in the photo was, in fact, a gag gift given to Jesse James by his godfather, who happens to be Jewish.

Yanny tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT James is no anti-Semite and reveals James that he once spent more than a month in and Israeli kibbutz.

SERAFIN: I`m sure his lawyer`s explanation was correct, that these were meant to be a joke. They weren`t meant to go viral around the Internet. But people are going to read into this, even though it probably was a joke.

ANDERSON: One thing James` people are not talking about is the state of his marriage to Sandra Bullock who reportedly moved out of James` home the day stories of his alleged cheating broke.

Since then, this is the closest we`ve come to a Sandra Bullock sighting. This brand-new video from "Hollywood TV" shows a paparazzi mob scene as a car carrying a well-hidden Bullock arrives at the home of a reported Bullock family friend.

SERAFIN: The interest in her is clearly very high.

ANDERSON: The interest in Sandra Bullock and Jesse James` marital nightmare is also being fueled by all those lurid tales being told by James` alleged mistresses.

But, James` attorney tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, that 99 percent of what`s being published about the scandal is untrue. As for the attorney`s request that James get some privacy, he might not get his wish right away.

SERAFIN: The fact is, this the story right now. Next week, Tiger is going back to the Masters so that will be the story next week. But I think Jesse should probably expect some more scrutiny.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Oh, yes, you think? Well, we can certainly all admit it has been a brutal two and a half weeks since Sandra and Jesse`s marriage hit the fan. But I`ve got to say, Jesse`s desperate plea today for privacy has just ripped the lid off a whole new can of worms.

Right now, in Hollywood, Carlos Diaz - he`s a correspondent for TV`s "Extra." And here in New York, Sunny Hostin - she`s a legal contributor from "In Session" on our sister network truTV.

All right, guys. I did a little digging today because I wanted to find Jesse`s very first, and really until now, only statement. This one came right after his alleged cheating became public.

And it is just fascinating to me the contrast to the breaking developments today. This is what Jesse originally told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "There is only one person to blame for this whole situation and that is me. It`s because of my poor judgment I deserve everything bad that is coming my way."

My friend, Carlos Diaz, off to you. He said it right there - he deserves everything bad that is coming his way. So does Jesse really have any right to beg for privacy at this point?

CARLOS DIAZ, CORRESPONDENT, "EXTRA": Well, allow me to exercise my freedom of speech and freedom of the press right now by saying, no, he has no right.

And it is interesting to see, by the way, when Tiger Woods came out with his statement, he kind of chastised the press and said, "You know that my private life does not need a press conference or a press release."

So he kind of went one way and Jesse went the other with his statement saying, "I deserve everything that`s coming my way." Either way the press is going to have their way with you and they`re going to go after you when they see something has been done that is wrong.

HAMMER: Yes. I mean, Sunny, this is something that I took note of when he released that statement two and a half weeks ago because he obviously knew the firestorm that was coming. And now his statement today seems a little hypocritical to me.

SUNNY HOSTIN, LEGAL CONTRIBUTOR, "IN SESSION": It seems extremely hypocritical. I mean, let`s face it - he didn`t want privacy when he was shooting his television show. He didn`t want privacy on the red carpet with his Oscar-winning wife.

He didn`t want privacy at all then. He was there for all the cameras. Now, he`s been caught and now he wants privacy. It`s ridiculous for him to expect that. He`s a public figure and he knows that.

HAMMER: Yes. These words are ridiculous. Let`s take a look what Jesse`s attorney told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "I would request his rights in regards to privacy and his medical matters be respected. I wish that people would get on with the things contemplated by the drafters of the First Amendment and leave Mr. James alone already."

You know, clearly, this is supposed to be a big old kick in the gut to all of us who are covering the story. And, guess what? I`m not flinching one bit here, Jesse. That said, Carlos, do you feel any sympathy for him making this desperate plea?

DIAZ: He made his bed. Several women allegedly slept in it, so he has to sleep in it now, as well, all right? I`m sorry. I don`t feel any sympathy for the guy at all. If you want to be a player, be a player. I have no problem with that, OK? I`m not going to hate on you.

But if you`re going to get married to America`s sweetheart, no less, maybe you`d be faithful. I don`t know. Just off the wall there.

HAMMER: Yes. Sunny, do you see in any way that this is going to bring an onslaught newfound sympathy for Jesse James?

HOSTIN: Oh, no. Not at all - maybe from Tiger Woods but not from America, the public. You know, bottom line is - medical matters? I`m offended just by that for people that really have medical matters.

He doesn`t have any medical matters. That`s ridiculous. This whole sex rehab thing is really quite a joke when it comes, I think, to Jesse James.

HAMMER: Yes. And we are going to get into that and the cop-out. The overwhelming response to the sex rehab. People think this is just the biggest cop-out on the planet. That`s coming up in just a bit.

But right now, I want to move on to the video that was revealed today. Now, this was the very first video of Sandra Bullock leaving her home since her self-imposed isolation.

You can`t see it specifically in the video but I can tell you Sandra was wearing a giant hat covering her face. I feel so terribly for her. This melee, this onslaught of paparazzi that she`s going to have to deal with for some time to come.

I don`t think she owes anything to anyone right now. But there are some who think, you know, maybe she should have come out, head held high for the world to see. Carlos, she has nothing to be ashamed of, obviously. I mean, it`s really that rat of a husband who does.

DIAZ: Yes, I know. Sandra has done nothing wrong and that`s the reason why she shouldn`t come out right now because she`s the victim here. She was the person who was faithful in her marriage. She is the person that is truly the victim.

And you know what? You look at this situation. And if she comes out now, we don`t even know all the facts. If she comes out and makes a statement or else an appearance and says that she either supports him or doesn`t, then more facts could come out a week from now.

HAMMER: Well, while Sandra is out of hiding in a way, Jesse still in deep cover mode in rehab. And that sparked, as I said, a massive coast-to- coast debate today. A lot of people are saying his reported sex rehab - it is a total cop-out.

The whole idea of sex rehab is a ridiculous to a lot of people. We`ll be getting into that. Carlos Diaz, Sonny Hostin, stay right where you are.

Well, now, I`d love to hear from you on this. It is our exclusive SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll. Please sound off -"Sandra Bullock`s Husband: Do you have any sympathy for Jesse James? One of you? Two of you? Well, you can vote at CNN.com/ShowbizTonight. You can always E-mail us more of your thoughts at showbiztonight@cnn.com.

ANDERSON: Hey, I think Jennifer Aniston is extremely talented. But I`ve got to ask today, is her career in crisis? There are brand new reports out today that her latest movie is a flop. So we are daring to ask, is Aniston in trouble?

OK. So can Rosie really replace Oprah? Well, let`s ask our good friend, Donald Trump. Donald?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TRUMP: Oprah`s fantastic and an amazing woman. And Rosie is just not a good person. She`s a bully.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Come on. You didn`t expect him to be all warm and fuzzy, did you? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: Here comes the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Lindsay Lohan slams her dad on Twitter after he publicly asks her to go to rehab. Erykah Badu defends her shocking nude video, taped at JFK assassination site.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

ANDERSON: A.J., Oscar nominee Gabby Sidibe has a hot Saturday night dream date coming up while Heidi Montag and hubby Spencer Pratt tick off some Native Americans - really. It`s all making news in "The Buzz" today.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over): Brand-new Heidi-Spencer outrage. Some Native Americans are furious after reality show couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt announced they are adopting new Indian names, Heidi as White Wolf and Spencer as Running Bear.

The Rosebud Sioux tribe in South Dakota tells TMZ, quote, "Continued stereotyping such as this by people ignorant of our traditional ways is very disrespectful and only hurts our efforts to curtail these stereotypes."

From "Precious" to "Saturday Night Live?" Gabourey Sidibe will reportedly be hosting "Saturday Night Live." "E! News" is reporting the star of the movie, "Precious" will get the gig sometime next month. NBC says it can`t confirm that just yet.

Jennifer Hudson`s new weight mission. Weight Watchers has just revealed Hudson will be its new spokesperson. The Oscar winner will be featured in ads starting this Sunday.

JENNIFER HUDSON, SINGER: Winning at losing on Weight Watchers.

ANDERSON: Hudson tells ABC`s "Good Morning America" that she decided to lose some weight after giving birth to her son.

HUDSON: I made up my mind. You know, I want to go a different direction and find a better lifestyle and a better weight. And so I decided to do Weight Watchers and just like - I felt like - well, I felt like I`ve conquered the world.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: She certainly has, hasn`t she? Jennifer Hudson has gone from "American Idol" to award-winning actress with a new body to boot.

Joining me right now from New York is Cathy Areu, who is the publisher of "Catalina" magazine.

Cathy, when I saw Jennifer Hudson in the new Weight Watchers commercials out today, all I could say is, wow!

CATHY AREU, PUBLISHER, "CATALINA" MAGAZINE: Right.

ANDERSON: Just seven months after giving birth to her precious son, David, Jr., she looks absolutely amazing. And just this morning on "Good Morning, America," Jennifer said she`s always loved her curves but that she`s got new reason to slim down. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HUDSON: Although I was very comfortable with myself before - I`ve never had a problem with it - it`s just, OK, I have a child now and I want to set a great example for him.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Yes. Cathy, I think she is a great example -

AREU: Yes.

ANDERSON: Not only for her son but everybody out there wanting to get healthy, wanting to get in shape. What do you think?

AREU: Absolutely. And we trust her and we believe her and we love her. She`s a perfect spokesperson. I mean, Jenny McCarthy did this a few years ago but hard to relate to a "Playboy" bunny.

But Jennifer Hudson is just someone we relate to. And I`m a new mom. I gave birth nine months ago. And I can relate to wanting to get healthy to my little baby and wanting to turn over a new leaf and make healthy decisions. And I saw her this morning and I could relate and I believed what she said. Yes.

ANDERSON: Yes. Me, too. We`re all in the same boat, Cathy. I gave birth about 10 months ago. So there we go.

AREU: Congratulations.

ANDERSON: J. Hud looking fab. You, too. She`s an inspiration to women everywhere.

AREU: Right.

ANDERSON: Another story making news today. Gabourey Sidibe is proving Howard Stern wrong. Stern recently went on a rant on his radio show saying that Gabby`s weight would keep her from having success in Hollywood.

Well, Howard may be eating his words today because late today, NBC confirmed to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that Gabby will host an upcoming episode of "SNL." I could not be happier for her. Cathy, very quickly, do you think Gabby is saying, "Take that, Howard Stern"?

AREU: Good for Gabby. Absolutely. She`s pulling a Sarah Palin when people were mocking her. When Tina Fey was out there mocking Sarah Palin, Sarah Palin went on the show, showed she had a great sense of humor and poked some fun at people that were criticizing her.

So Gabby is absolutely telling Howard Stern, "I`ve got something to say. I`m witty. I have a great sense of humor. Watch me shine.

ANDERSON: Yes.

AREU: Watch me shine.

ANDERSON: I really am looking forward to her stint on "SNL."

AREU: Can`t wait.

ANDERSON: Cathy Areu, thank you so much.

HAMMER: All right. So you`ve got all these alleged Tiger Woods mistresses. You`ve got the Jesse James mistresses who are becoming famous. Interviews, photo spreads, TV shows - who knows what`s next? Spaghetti sauce?

I don`t get it. Why are these women being treated like Hollywood stars? It is mistress outrage.

Well, Jen Aniston is certainly a big Hollywood star for now. But is she having a career meltdown? Brand-new reports today that her latest movie is a flop. Her other recent films have tanked. So is Aniston in trouble?

And "True Blood", true confession today. Anna Paquin reveals all about being bisexual. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Miley Cyrus` movie, "The Last Song," tops Wednesday box office with $5.1 million in sales. "High School Musical" spin-off starring Ashley Tisdale to air on Disney Channel.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Hey, what`s going on at "FunnyOrDie.com?" Anybody? Anybody know what`s happening there? Justin Bieber has taken over the comedy site. Look at this. The 16-year-old mega-star has turned "FunnyOrDie" into "Bieber or Die." Let me tell you, this squeaky clean kid has gone totally bad ass.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JUSTIN BIEBER, SINGER: Hey, what`s up, Internet? Guess who? It`s Justin Bieber. And I`ve taken over "FunnyOrDie." It`s mine. I bought it. And now, it`s "BieberOrDie." Anything that`s not Bieber dies.

I`m a star. I do what stars do. I ride on yachts. I autograph lady rumps and I pay people to slap them. Sometimes, I don`t feel like walking so I make enormous people carry me around. Let`s go get a lollipop.

I talk loudly in libraries and I swim directly after I eat. I don`t care. I once ran into a club. They said, "Sir, you`re not old enough." So I bought the club and I made it a chuck E. Cheese. Now, whose old enough (EXPLETIVE DELETED)?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Doesn`t Bieber have a curfew or anything? It is pretty funny but it is a big joke, of course, today being April Fools` Day and all. I`m not joking about this, however. Justin Bieber has the number one album in the country right now, Brooke.

ANDERSON: Yes, he does. And A.J., this is no joke. A lot of our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook fans today think Kate Gosselin - well, they do think she is kind of a big joke on "Dancing with the Stars."

Christina H. writes, "I really wish Kate would stay off TV. She can`t dance and has a nasty disposition. If she`s on `Dancing` longer than next week, I`ll stop watching the rest of the season."

Now, we`re also getting tons of posts today about Jesse James checking into a rehab facility that specializes in sex addiction.

Cheryl H. writes, "Why is this the latest rage - sex addicts? Ever heard of self-control? I got one cure for them that seemed to work back some years ago, `the Bobbit cure.`" Cheryl does not go there.

Tiger Woods, Jesse James alleged treated in sex rehab? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT asks today, celebrity sex rehab - legit, or a total cop-out? The results of our exclusive poll.

Mistress fame outrage. Sleep with a married man, become a big star. But is that right?

And Rosie versus Oprah. Can Rosie O`Donnell really replace Oprah Winfrey? Oh, boy. Wait until you hear what Donald Trump tells us about that. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: Now, on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, a celebrity sex rehab showdown. Tiger Woods, Jesse James - they allegedly treated for sex addiction. But is it a real problem or a big cop-out? The shocking results from our exclusive SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll revealed today.

The new Jennifer Aniston bombshell. Brand-new reports today that her latest movie is a flop. Is Jen`s career in trouble or in transition?

Can Rosie replace Oprah? Donald Trump weighs in to us today. And big surprise, it isn`t pretty.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TRUMP: Oprah`s fantastic and an amazing woman. And Rosie is just not a good person. She`s a bully.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Plus, more stories breaking from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker."

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today. Is celebrity sex rehab one big cop-out?

HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. A great debate broke out today after Sandra Bullock`s husband became the latest celebrity to check into rehab after a cheating scandal ripped apart his marriage.

Jesse James is now pleading for privacy today, after checking into rehab. But is he just in hiding? Jesse struck back through his attorney today who told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that Jesse should be given privacy during his medical treatment.

This is just a day after Jesse pulled a Tiger Woods and checked into an Arizona treatment facility that specializes in sex addiction. So SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has got to ask, is sex rehab for real or just a big old cheating cop-out? We`ve got the heated debate and breaking news about an exclusive SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll on sex rehab.

And in more big news breaking today, the mistress fame game. An alleged Tiger mistress gets the Hollywood treatment. She`s got the hair, the makeup and a big photo spread in the brand new issue of "Vanity Fair." So I`ve got to ask, should mistresses be banned from cashing in on sleeping with married men?

Joining me right now in Hollywood is Dr. Lillian Glass, who is a psychologist. And in New York, Dr. Judy Kuriansky, who is a clinical psychologist and author of "The Complete Idiot`s Guide to a Healthy Relationship."

Well, let`s talk about an unhealthy relationship and begin with Jesse James striking back today and asking for privacy. I`ve got to say, the moment the news broke that Jesse was checking into rehab to save his marriage to Sandra Bullock, people everywhere were instantly skeptical because of the whole Tiger Woods thing.

Dr. Glass, let me start with you. Do you believe sex rehab is a big old cop-out?

LILLIAN GLASS, PSYCHOLOGIST: Absolutely. This is spin, spin, spin. And you can hear the spin with his attorney. He`s invoking his First Amendment right. This is ridiculous.

There are people out there that do have sexual problems and may very well need sex rehab, but he is not one of them. He is obviously using this to gain sympathy and to make people not be such haters towards him.

HAMMER: Dr. Judy, I`ve got to get your take on this. I know you have studied sex and relationships for years.

DR. JUDY KURIANSKY, CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST: Yes.

HAMMER: You are certainly an expert on this issue. Is the whole sex rehab thing a joke?

KURIANSKY: It is absolutely not a joke at all. It is a real issue. Lillian, I love you but I`ve got to disagree. I think Jesse has a problem, just like Tiger Woods has a problem.

And like you said, A.J., I was one of the people at the source of all of this sex therapy 30 years ago when all the experts were first figuring this out. And there was a clinic set up in St. Louis, Missouri, the Masters and Johnson, with the grandfather and grandmother of sex therapy who identified sex addiction as a real problem.

It has some physiological, biological issues and even more importantly, you`re out of control. You can`t stop and there are too many partners, too often. And you get into trouble about it but it`s just out of control.

Sure, you can use it to get out of jail and try a free card and try to fix your marriage. But it`s a real problem and Jesse James - if he doesn`t get treatment, he is going to be really in trouble. And even with that treatment, he`s going to be in trouble.

HAMMER: Well, everybody does think it is just a big excuse. Now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT conducted an exclusive poll on this. I couldn`t believe the overwhelming response - are these the latest results?

I have the very latest results. It came in late today, people responding to this question - "Celebrity Sex Rehab: Is it a cop-out?" Let`s put that up. Ninety-four percent say, yes, total cop-out. Only six percent out there think that sex addiction is a real excuse for these celebrities.

So, if so many people think that Jesse James did use sex rehab as a cop-out - Dr. Glass, they are siding with you here. What could he have done to save himself and his marriage to Sandra Bullock?

GLASS: He can`t. It`s totally a spin. The public is not stupid. We are so savvy. We`ve heard this before. We`ve seen this before. And I have love for Judy, too. I have such respect for Dr. Judy because she did write the book on it and is a pioneer in this field.

But I`m also a pioneer in the area of Hollywood spin and know what`s going on with toxic people. And in my book, he`s a toxic person.

HAMMER: Hey, Dr. Judy, I`m not ashamed to say I learned a lot of what know about sex growing up listening to you on the radio. We`ve talked about that before.

But if you think those results from our poll are overwhelming, this war that`s been going on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook page is unbelievable. Let me get to a couple of posts because everybody is sounding off on this.

This is and this is Aimee S., "I think this whole sex addiction counseling is a lousy excuse for those individuals who lack morals, commitment and character. These men are using sex addiction counseling as a method to sweep their immoral behavior under the rug."

And I actually think there`s something to Aimee`s argument. I mean, Dr. Judy, you can`t ignore that so many people believe this thing, sex rehab, is just a place for cheating celebrities to go and hide until the whole heat of the controversy and the media goes away.

KURIANSKY: I understand, and that`s definitely an issue because in Hollywood, they are tempted and they have the opportunity. But I`m telling you, it`s a real problem, too. Real people have it.

It`s the guy next door and the girl next door sometimes. It could be your grocer, your mailman, your taxi driver, whomever, because real people have this inability to stop the sex urge.

And it`s like drug and alcohol addiction. The reason is that sex is a real thing so people think, well, how can you be a food addict? How can you be a sex addict? How can you be a love addict? Because these are real things that we go through in life.

But when it crosses that line - and that`s the point, there is a line that`s crossed. Now, Jesse and lots of celebrities like - Lillian, I love you. You are right. Hollywood uses it but Hollywood has the opportunity more.

They have all these women who drool over them and so they have more chances to fall into this deep hole. And Steve Phillips, the former ESPN sports commentator said it well when he said there`s a hole inside. They try to fill that with the sex organs and it doesn`t work.

HAMMER: Well, from one expert to another, I think Dr. Drew, who everybody knows from his VH1 show, "Sex Rehab," he is certainly an expert in the field.

And he just appeared on CNN`s "LARRY KING LIVE." I think he had a great point. I want you to take a look what he had to say about the sex rehab debate. Charles, can you roll that?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DR. DREW PINSKY, HOST, "SEX REHAB": Tiger is a great example to me of somebody who really has suffered a lot. He damaged his family, his career, his children, a woman he loves. These are the people he built a life around and with. And he harmed them and wanted to stop.

LARRY KING, HOST, "LARRY KING LIVE": If he were single and the same golfer, would we even be talking about it?

PINSKY: We probably wouldn`t. But you know, the same thing is true of almost any addiction. When people come to see me in the hospital, they don`t walk in the door and go, "You know what? I decided today I`m going to stop drinking."

They may have been thinking about it for three years. But they came in that day because they had a DUI, they nearly died, their wife put them in or some other such consequence.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. I mean, that`s a great point and that is how it happens. So Dr. Glass, to that end, what is the difference between an alcoholic who ruined his life realizing he or she did something wrong and someone who ruined their life because of sex?

GLASS: Well, certainly people are sex addicted, alcohol addicted, food addicted. There`s no question about that. But in Jesse James` particular case, he didn`t have, obviously, this problem before that we know of. And we see that the timing is just uncanny. It just happens -

HAMMER: Well, yes.

GLASS: After his Nazi uniform is exposed. It just happens when he`s out there in the press making "Heil Hitler" signs.

HAMMER: It`s like a Hollywood checklist.

GLASS: So that`s very suspicious.

HAMMER: I`m right there with you. Let me move on now to the people responsible for Tiger and Jesse heading to rehab, the mistresses, of course.

Brand new outrage today over the fact that everywhere you turn, mistresses are being treated like Hollywood stars. Let me give you an example. This is the latest today.

Tiger mistress number - who knows at this point. She`s getting the full Hollywood treatment at "Vanity Fair" magazine, part of the magazine`s just revealed Tiger expose. We`re talking hair, makeup - the whole photo shoot. And we`re seeing examples of this over and over. And Dr. Judy, am I wrong to think it`s ridiculous these women are being glamorized?

KURIANSKY: It is a shame. It`s a travesty. It is really the magazine`s fault. I love "Vanity Fair" but they`re sinking down low by allowing these women to get publicity for it.

And I think - and all of us who were part of the beginnings of the women`s movement are outraged about this -

HAMMER: Yes.

KURIANSKY: Because all it`s doing is allowing women and giving them the stamp of approval, good housekeeping stamp of approval for being bad girls and for exposing them and using them.

HAMMER: I`m right there with you. I`m going to end it there.

KURIANSKY: Women, do teach your daughters not to use men.

HAMMER: That`s a great place to end it. Dr. Judy Kuriansky, Dr. Lillian Glass, thank you both.

ANDERSON: OK. Is Jennifer Aniston`s career in trouble? A brand-new explosive report out today reveals that Jen`s latest movie is a big flop.

So, a lot of people are asking, is it time for Jen to take a break from the big screen? Is Jen`s career in need of a major overhaul?

Rosie O`Donnell, one of the most powerful celebrities in Hollywood. But can she replace Oprah Winfrey? A lot of people - there are a lot of people who want Oprah`s talk show slot. So should Rosie get it? Donald Trump tells us today, no way.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TRUMP: Oprah`s fantastic and an amazing woman. And Rosie is just not a good person. She`s a bully.

ANDERSON: And Anna Paquin`s shocking bisexual secrets revealed. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: This is the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Upcoming Palin Fox News special drops L.L. Cool J after he complained interview was from 2008. Julianne Moore returns to "As the World Turns" for guest spot before show ends.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: How are you?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, sweetheart.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Did you see this? It`s only the best invention since scratch-and-sniff stickers. I`m talking about the first ever flavored newspaper. Yes. Sounds yummy, right?

Well, today`s U.K. "Sun" Newspaper enticed its readers to lick a white square on one of its pages promising a tasty treat. Let me take a little a gamble here. I`m betting that the folks who actually did decide to take a little taste test were sadly disappointed. Sounds to me like nothing more than an April Fools` joke but pretty, pretty funny one.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. And today, we`re asking if a brand-new headline today about Jennifer Aniston is actually an April Fools` joke.

ANDERSON: That`s right, A.J. Is the joke on Jen or is she really in the middle of a movie crisis? A new report today is suggesting her new film, "The Bounty Hunter," is a bona fide flop. Is Aniston`s sizzling career is stalling?

Also just in today, Donald Trump`s explosive comments to us today in a brand-new interview about whether Rosie O`Donnell has what it takes to replace Oprah. And as you can imagine, the Donald wasn`t kind to Rosie. Wait until you hear what he told us.

Right now from New York, Ben Widdicombe, who is a celebrity journalist. Also in New York, Cathy Areu who is the publisher of "Catalina" magazine.

Ben, Cathy, I`ve got to begin with a brand-new report in the "New York Post" with the screaming headline, "Snickers as Jen Bombs Again." It suggests that Jennifer Aniston should actually take a break from her career to reassess things after her later movie, "The Bounty Hunter."

And that movie has made only $41 million since its release almost three weeks ago. So Ben, should Jen be concerned here?

BEN WIDDICOMBE, CELEBRITY JOURNALIST: Well, you know, she`s not doing terribly. I do think she belongs to that unusual category of actors like Ashton Kutcher and Nicole Kidman who remain terribly popular even though their films don`t necessarily do great box office.

People have a lot of affection for Jen. She`s a bona fide celebrity. But maybe she`s not a movie star. I think her fans really want her to get back on television, honestly. I think there, she could be perhaps more successful.

ANDERSON: They want Rachel Green again. Well, I`ve got to tell you. We pulled out all the stops today, charting and graphing Aniston`s film releases for the past year. And I want to break things down for you in terms of how they did in the U.S.

In February of last year, "He`s Just Not That Into You" took in $94 million, very respectable. May of last year, her movie, "Management" pulled in just under $1 million, but that was in limited release.

In September, "Love Happens" really tanked, took in just $22 million. As I mentioned, "The Bounty Hunter" has taken in $41 million so far.

Cathy, Aniston is one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood. So should her movies be doing better than this?

AREU: Well, she`s done some great movies. She`s a great actress. But the problem is, she`s a better tabloid star. I mean, we just read about her every single day. I thought that Gerard Butler thing was actually a tabloid story.

I didn`t realize she was making a movie with the guy. It`s very hard for us to suspend reality at this point. Are we watching her in real life? Are we watching her play pretend? We`d rather see the real life than the pretend on screen. And unfortunately, she (UNINTELLIGIBLE) in tabloids, I think.

ANDERSON: We took this burning question to our fans on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook page today. And Jen did have a whole lot of defenders.

Dawn P. wrote on our wall, "There are tons of stars who have made movie flops. I think she`s entitled to a few bad ones herself. I think she will be fine when the right script comes her way."

But Margaret M. said this, "I don`t care if her movies are flops or not. I`d watch her in anything. She is the best."

Well, she does have countless dedicated fans and followers. She is probably going to be just, just fine.

I got to move now to Donald Trump`s brand-new comments to us today about whether Rosie O`Donnell could be a good replacement for Oprah Winfrey when Oprah`s talk show ends in 2011. Watch what he told us.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TRUMP: Well, you can`t pit her against Oprah. You are talking about two different people. Oprah`s fantastic and an amazing woman and Rosie is just not a good person. She`s a bully.

The fact is that I think that you have a lot better replacements for Oprah than Rosie. But I`m not sure that Oprah can be replaced by anybody. She`s a great person. She`s a friend of mine. I think she`s fantastic.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Ben, what about that? What you just heard from Donald, that Rosie doesn`t have the same kind of presence that Oprah has and just would not be able to fill Oprah`s shoes.

WIDDICOMBE: Well, there`s no question that Oprah Winfrey is the American institution. And she would be very hard to replace by anybody.

But can I just say, I`m so over the Rosie-Donald feud. It`s so last decade. And we`re hearing those two go off against each other. It`s like listening to distant foghorns. Enough already, Donald. Get over it.

ANDERSON: Cathy, what do you think about Rosie and Oprah? Do you think that they are that different? They both entertain people in their own special way. And when Rosie had her show on, she was a hit. I loved it. People loved her show.

AREU: She`s great. She`s known by one name just like Oprah. She would be great. The Donald just hates Rosie. You want them to already make out already. Just kiss. Get a room. I think they are in love with each other. They`re just putting on a show.

WIDDICOMBE: Oh -

AREU: Right?

ANDERSON: And that`s what it is, they really love one another.

WIDDICOMBE: Oh! Love that image, thank you.

ANDERSON: OK. Well, Oprah is irreplaceable. We all know that. And Rosie has even acknowledged that herself. They each bring something unique to the table, I think. Ben Widdicombe, Cathy Areu, thanks, guys.

HAMMER: There`s your pay-per-view special right there, Rosie and Donald making out.

All right. Today, a "True Blood" star`s new confession. The brand- new shocking announcement from Anna Paquin. Anna shares her bisexual secret with the world today. Anna`s stunning confession revealed today. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: Did you see this? A major league baseball player goes up to bat, takes a swing and nearly strikes out his own mother.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What?

HAMMER: Yes. Minnesota Twins center fielder Denard Span fired off a foul ball into the stands during Wednesday`s spring training game against the New York Yankees. Now, Span says he knew something was wrong because he heard a woman scream from the stands.

(SCREAM)

I said a woman. The shocking shriek came from Span`s mother. Now, Span says his mom was really mad, mad that he left the game to rush into the stands to check on her. Well, I am happy to tell you she was treated on the scene and today she is A-OK.

ANDERSON: Good to know. OK. Anna Paquin`s shocking and surprising confession today. She`s bisexual. The "True Blood" star reveals a new side of herself in a brand-new star-studded public service announcement.

It`s called the "Give a Damn" campaign. Elton John and Whoopi Goldberg and host other stars are speaking out today in support of equal rights for gays, bisexuals and transgenders.

The "Give a Damn" campaign folks say they were absolutely floored when Anna made the decision to reveal to the world a personal secret of her own.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m straight.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m gay.

ANNA PAQUIN, ACTRESS: I`m bisexual.

WANDA SYKES, COMEDIAN: And I give a damn about equality.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Want to know why?

PAQUIN: Because one hate crime is committed approximately every hour of every day in this country.

ELTON JOHN, MUSICIAN: Imagine walking down the street and wondering if this is the day you`ll get beaten up or even killed simply because of who you are.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Because many gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender teens who come out to their parents are thrown out of their homes.

WHOOPI GOLDBERG, ACTRESS: Imagine confiding in the people you trust most only to be rejected and tossed out with no place to go.

SHARON OSBOURNE, TV PERSONALITY: These are just a few of the reasons why we care about equality.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Is it time for things to change.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Now, organizers say they had no idea Anna was going to declare that she is bisexual. They go on to say that they support her brave decision to do so.

Right now, Anna is engaged to her "True Blood" co-star, Stephen Moyer. She was obviously very courageous to reveal this very personal aspect of her life and we wish her well.

HAMMER: That is one of my favorite shows, "True Blood." On Wednesday, we asked you to vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll. The shocking final results right now - "Celebrity Sex Rehab: Is it a cop-out?"

Today, the overwhelming response - and I`m being overwhelmed by this. Ninety-four percent of you said yes, celebrity rehab a cop-out. Only six percent of you said no.

Here are some of the E-mails we got. This is Russ in Tennessee who is not buying it, "Jesse going to rehab is a joke! Sandra, you deserve better because Jesse is a fool!"

Sheila from Alabama writes, "I am sick of cheating husbands using rehab as an excuse for their bad behavior."

Now, we really had to look hard to find some Jesse supporters. But James from Oklahoma says this, "There is no reason to beat up on Jesse. He made a mistake. He should not be punished."

ANDERSON: What?

HAMMER: I don`t know. That is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thanks for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

HAMMER: And now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is live at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Monday through Friday.

ANDERSON: And don`t forget, every night, we are still TV`s most provocative entertainment news show at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific.
