(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer, coming to you from New York City.

BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Hi there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - Kate Gosselin`s revenge.

HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. Kate is lashing out at her ex-husband, Jon, silencing her critics and really turning what has become an incredibly bitter battle into sweet success.

ANDERSON: A.J., Kate says all of her drama is giving her the fuel to win this fight. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT talked to Kate just after she won the praises of the judges on "Dancing with the Stars" for the very first time this season.

Now, Kate is basking in the glow of that newfound praise and revealing what she really thinks about Jon`s accusations that she`s more interested in fame than their eight kids.

Watch out, world, Kate may have the moves to take down Jon and anyone else who gets in her way.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

Her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, may have declared the custody war over their eight kids. But today, Kate Gosselin is taking that war to the air - the airwaves, that is, battling Jon on primetime TV -

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: If you fail this week, he wins.

ANDERSON: On morning TV -

K. GOSSELIN: I`ve got to work harder now than ever because I am a single mom.

ANDERSON: And on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

TONY DOVOLANI, KATE GOSSELIN`S DANCING PARTNER: Don`t ever mess with her kids, obviously.

K. GOSSELIN: Don`t mess with me.

DOVOLANI: That`s right.

ALBERT LEE, DEPUTY EDITOR, "US WEEKLY": She can kind of use this media platform to kind of, you know, get a few digs in at Jon and kind of attack him. It`s sort of like she`s getting the last laugh.

ANDERSON: It`s Kate`s public payback against Jon Gosselin as she proves that revenge is a dish best served on TV.

MEREDITH VIEIRA, CO-HOST, THE "TODAY" SHOW: He says that you`re an absentee mom, that you`re more interested in fame than you are raising your children. What`s your reaction to that?

ANDERSON: This morning, on the "Today" show, Meredith Vieira asked Kate Gosselin about the charges her ex-husband made in his new court petition for primary custody of their eight children.

(MUSIC)

Jon said Kate`s time on "Dancing with the Stars" in L.A. is turning her into an absentee mom to their kids in Pennsylvania. This morning on the "Today" show, Kate responded to Jon`s claims saying that she`s doing it for the kids.

K. GOSSELIN: I have to work. I have to provide for them. And it`s a struggle that we, working moms, especially single moms, go through. And I`m really feeling it now and it`s really hard.

LEE: I think a lot of mothers can sympathize with that.

ANDERSON: On "Dancing with the Stars," Kate showed she`s not above using her appearance to respond to Jon`s court filing and describe the pain she says he`s putting her through.

K. GOSSELIN: I wake up and check the news first thing in the morning to see what my day is going to bring me today, what hell I`m going to go through. I mean, this is custody stuff playing out in public.

ANDERSON: Kate tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT the custody battle distracted her from her dancing.

K. GOSSELIN: It took two days away from my practice. I was physically present, but I was absolutely mentally absent.

ANDERSON: On "Dancing with the Stars," we even saw Kate`s dance partner using her ex to motivate her.

DOVOLANI: You`re there to prove a point. If you fail this week, he wins. Does that make sense to you? Will you let that happen?

K. GOSSELIN: No.

DOVOLANI: Exactly.

ANDERSON: As for Jon Gosselin, he`s flying under the radar.

LEE: The guy has like virtually fallen off the face of the earth. Part of that difficulty, of course, is after that lawsuit with TLC and he settled with them, you know, he hasn`t been able to do the same kind of media appearances that he had before.

ANDERSON: His lawyer appeared on "NANCY GRACE" last week to plead his custody case.

ANTHONY F. LIST, ATTORNEY FOR JON GOSSELIN: Do you realize that today, the way that the order stands, Kate Gosselin has sole discretion to determine whether or not Jon is able to see the eight children?

Do you know of any other custody agreement that provides for such, you know, a lopsided arrangement?

ANDERSON: But it`s clear Jon has nowhere near the media reach of his ex.

LEE: She`s got a new book coming out. She`s got a new TLC coming out - "Twist of Kate." She`s got "Dancing with the Stars." You know, she`s sort of this multiplatform, multimedia star.

ANDERSON: And as their custody battle rages on, it`s clear that Kate`s not shy about using her star power as firepower against her ex.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Yes. And Kate is definitely firing on all cylinders. I`ve got to tell you, it looks like she is winning this battle. So is Kate`s success her best revenge?

Right now from Hollywood is Mary Murphy, who is an entertainment journalist. And in New York, Sunny Hostin, who is a legal contributor for "In Session" in our sister network, Tru TV.

I`ve got to tell you, I think that Kate is just transforming herself before our eyes. Honestly, to me, the more she distances herself from Jon, her ex, the more people seem to like her.

Sunny, really, after all that Jon and the critics have put her through, is Kate`s success really her ultimate revenge?

SUNNY HOSTIN, LEGAL CONTRIBUTOR, "IN SESSION": There`s just no question about it. I think that the best thing that has happened to her is that she broke up with Jon, because before, she was this scary momzilla type.

Now, she`s the single mom who has been wronged by her ex-husband. Every woman out there, I think, is secretly rooting for her.

HAMMER: Yes. And certainly, they`re enjoying her - pulling no punches when it comes to Jon, because I think the tables are certainly turned, if anybody was really in Jon`s court before.

And today, Kate has shot back at Jon`s claims that Kate is an absentee mother because she`s competing on "Dancing with the Stars." In fact, watch what she said about that this morning on the "Today" show.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

K. GOSSELIN: I`m on the first flight as soon as the show lets me out. I`m on the plane and that`s my night of sleep. And I get home and I dance. And I`m done by the time they`re home from school and I spend the rest of the week with them.

I have to work. I have to provide for them and it`s a struggle that every working mom, especially single moms, go through.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: You can`t really argue with that. And let`s not forget, Kate was raked over the coals for keeping her kids on TV. But now, I give her credit for bringing home the bacon, providing for her kids.

Mary, is it crazy to think that Kate`s actually become a role model for single mothers everywhere now?

MARY MURPHY, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST: No, I don`t think it`s crazy to think that. In fact, I`m not sure she`s a role model, but she`s certainly emblematic of single working mothers in America. She`s just doing it in public with eight kids. I don`t know - in my Irish Catholic neighborhood, that was a small family.

HAMMER: Yes.

MURPHY: But I have to say that Kate Gosselin - what is her alternative? She could work two 12-hour shifts at a hospital as a nurse, and make - I don`t know how much money.

And the reports are that, you know, people on "Dancing with the Stars" are making, you know, six figures. I think she`s doing the right thing for her kids. She`s practicing at home. And I think she`s kind of a gutsy single mother and it`s great she`s standing on her own.

HAMMER: Yes. It seems like she`s on the right trajectory. But at the same time, there are a lot of people who are telling us today they`re not quite ready to embrace Kate as a role model.

In fact, here`s what we are asking in our exclusive SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll - "Kate Gosselin: Is she a good example for working moms?" And the early results just came in. Look at this. I`m surprised how lopsided this is. Eighty percent say no, she`s not a good role model and 20 percent say yes.

Honestly, Sunny, I thought more people would be siding with Kate at this point. Does this surprise you?

HOSTIN: It does surprise me, because, you know, I mean, I`m a working mother - granted I`m not a single working mother. But I admire her. I think that she`s doing what she needs to do for her family.

And I`ve got to tell you, I think there`s a lot of those Kate - you know, team Kate people out there. They`re just a little bit under cover.

HAMMER: Yes. I think people are not speaking up just yet. I think that`s the point. Obviously, there`s a lot of pressure with all the work she`s doing and there`s no question the pressure of all of the Jon and Kate drama is starting to get to her.

Watch what she revealed on "Dancing with the Stars" about how she`s handling all the stress. Roll that, Charles.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

K. GOSSELIN: Every day, there is something to do. I wake up and check the news first thing in the morning to see what my day is going to bring me today, what hell I`m going to go through. I mean, this is custody stuff playing out in public.

DOVOLANI: You`re there to prove a point. If you fail this week, he wins. Does that make sense to you?

K. GOSSELIN: Yes.

DOVOLANI: Will you let that happen?

K. GOSSELIN: No.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes, pretty clear to me Kate is not going down without a fight. Mary, quickly, role model or not, you got to give her credit for that.

MURPHY: Oh, you`ve got to - first of all, I`d tell her not to wake up and look at the Internet. I would say that for sure. But I think she`s going to be a success. The judges don`t think she`s going to be a dancing success. But I have to say that I give her an A for courage, for getting up and doing this. And you`re right, A.J. Distancing herself from Jon is her best dance step.

HAMMER: Smartest move she can make. Mary Murphy, Sunny Hostin, I thank you both. And make sure you tune in to HLN`s own Joy Behar. Yes, Joy is going one-on-one with Kate Gosselin and she will pull no punches. That happens Wednesday, 9:00 p.m. Eastern on HLN.

ANDERSON: A brand-new bombshell apology to Sandra Bullock. Yes, Jesse James` alleged mistress, Michelle "Bombshell" McGee publicly says she`s sorry to Sandra Bullock. But does she seriously think Sandra is going to accept her apology?

And Jim Carrey getting some big-time heat after tweeting about Tiger Woods` wife and calling her a willing participant in Tiger`s cheating ways. Now, why Jim Carrey says he`s not having a breakdown. He`s having a breakthrough.

And Jessica Simpson`s brand-new makeup mess today. Jessica sets the record straight on the controversy over her makeup-free magazine cover. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - these are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Is everything OK?

JENNIFER LOPEZ, ACTRESS: Yes. You know, just showing them who`s the pack leader. You idiot.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Jennifer Lopez has got a big baby crisis in her new movie, "The Backup Plan." But really, it`s nothing compared to her real-life baby war with the paparazzi. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT goes inside the celebrity baby obsession.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

ANDERSON: A.J., there really is a shocking new reality for celebrity parents today and that is the feeding frenzy to get a photo of their babies.

In these days, taking their kids to school, going to the park on play dates or just picking something up at the grocery store can really be a harrowing experience for famous parents like Jennifer Lopez, Tobey Maguire, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner.

In a brand-new investigation today, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT takes you inside the celebrities` baby obsession.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over): (UNINTELLIGIBLE) madness about motherhood. The intense spotlight on all things celebrity baby begins with those very first photos and continues for some with a childhood spent dodging the cameras.

The pictures appear on countless blogs and magazines, analyzing what they`re wearing, who they look like and detailing their latest play date like that of Gwen Stefani`s son, Kingston, and Tobey Maguire`s daughter, Ruby.

For the kids of some stars like Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner`s four-year-old daughter Violet, something as simple as a preschool pickup can even involve a police escort.

Many star parents like Jennifer Lopez plead for privacy. Lopez, whose twins Max and Emmy are two, slams the paparazzi for actions she says are intrusive like being chased by cars.

LOPEZ: That`s dangerous, you know, when cars are chasing you and the baby`s in the car. You know, the minute you become a mom, you become ultraoverprotective.

ANDERSON: Ken Baker, who`s the executive news editor for "E," tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that paparazzi aggression can cross the line.

KEN BAKER, EXECUTIVE NEWS DIRECTOR, "E": When you see the paparazzi cross that line and get in their faces, block their cars, block them from opening up their doors, that`s when it gets out of hand.

ANDERSON: But there are no laws in the United States protecting star kids, unlike in parts of Europe where it`s against the law to show the faces of celeb children without their parents` permission.

FRANK GRIFFIN, CO-OWNER, BAUER-GRIFFIN PHOTO AGENCY: I know they can somewhat sometimes look or sound like being wolves. But the reality is there`s a demand for those pictures.

ANDERSON: Frank Griffin is co-owner of the paparazzi agency Bauer-Griffin. He says their policy is generally not to chase the kids of stars and understands the concerns of celebrities, but argues they are better off accepting the inevitable public interest.

(on camera): What are your thoughts about the kids who unwittingly become celebrities themselves? Suri Cruise for one?

GRIFFIN: I think it`s probably the best they`re dealing with them. They`re going to be in the limelight. And I think it`s better to have the children become comfortable with that. They`re a lot safer.

ANDERSON (voice-over): Many stars even negotiate deals with major magazines to introduce their family to the world, hoping to defuse the intensity of the paparazzi.

"E`s" Ken Baker tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT the laser focus on little ones comes with the territory. And when you`re a star, it`s impossible to have it both ways.

BAKER: Celebrities will bring their children out on the red carpets, "Look at us. We`re one big happy family." It incites interest and curiosity. And it might inspire paparazzi to come up to them and say, "Well, we saw them on the red carpet. I want to get them in real life now."

So once you open that up and turn on that faucet, you, as a celebrity, can`t decide when to turn it off.

ANDERSON: So why the insatiable appetite for all things celebrity including their bambinos.

BAKER: I`m a big believer that people are interested in celebrity because they`re really looking to see themselves or maybe a more famous, more beautiful, more rich version of themselves.

ANDERSON: A number of stars like Matt Damon have been able to successfully shield their youngsters to some extent.

MATT DAMON, ACTOR: The attention paid to celebrities` kids I think is a little misplaced and problematic, to tell you the truth. And I think we have just been very lucky.

ANDERSON: Lucky for now, but the public hunger for more images of cute famous kids shows no signs of letting up, hitting the stars and their children in a never-ending game of cat-and-mouse with the paparazzi.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

Frank Griffin also told us these days, there is so much competition between dueling paparazzi agencies that an exclusive photo is rare. So candid photos, candid shots may only fetch a few hundred dollars.

HAMMER: Moving on tonight, Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon have been divorced for, what, almost three years now. But today, people are still slamming Ryan as the bad guy in the relationship.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

RYAN PHILLIPPE, ACTOR: I`m tired of getting (EXPLETIVE DELETED) on. I don`t feel like I deserve it, really.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What did you do?

PHILLIPPE: Nothing. Things happen.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Ryan Phillippe unleashed. Wait until you hear what he`s saying now in a brand-new relationship rant.

And a bombshell apology to Sandra Bullock. Jesse James` alleged mistress, Michelle "Bombshell" McGee is saying sorry to Sandra today. But does she really think Sandy is going to accept this apology? I mean, come on. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TINA FEY (as Sarah Palin): "Man in a Helicopter with a Sniper Rifle Versus Wild." "So You Think You Can Make Me Fill Out The Census." "Dateline: To Catch a Levi Johnston." "That`s So Palin."

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Tina Fey versus Sarah Palin round two. Fey brought her famous Palin`s spoof brought her back to "Saturday Night Live." But how did her "SNL" co-stars think she did this time?

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Tina Fey`s return to "Saturday Night Live" as Sarah Palin is still getting big buzz today. It seems like everyone loved it.

But do her "SNL" co-stars think she pulled it off? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was with the cast at an evening with "Saturday Night Live" and they all said Fey was fantastic.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SETH MEYERS, ACTOR: Fey - you know, it was so exciting last year. And you know, we knew when she was coming back to us. The big pressure was just having to do another one because we were so proud of the ones we did.

FRED ARMISEN, ACTOR: It`s great. That was so cool. And the audience right away picked up on it. They loved it all the way through. She does sound exactly like her and look like her, so -

JIMMY FALLON, FORMER, "SNL" CO-STAR: It`s great. I mean, Tina just does the best impression of Sarah Palin. It`s great. So it`s like - her hosting "Saturday Night Live," it was like, "Great, we get to see it again," you know.

And she didn`t know if she could get it back. She was like, "I haven`t done it in so long. I hope I don`t forget it," you know. But she came right in and just nailed it right off the back, of course, like she always does. She`s superwoman. I love Tina.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Superwoman indeed. I think Sarah Palin probably got a little bit of a kick out of Tina`s spoof, too.

HAMMER: Well, Brooke, a fired-up debate broke out on our Facebook page today after Jim Carrey tweeted that he thought that Tiger Woods` wife actually knew about Tiger`s cheating ways.

In fact, Ellie B. thinks that Carrey might be right. Listen to what she writes, "Who is to say that Elin didn`t know what her husband Tiger was doing? Ninety percent of the time, there are warning signs when a husband is cheating."

ANDERSON: A.J., Susie called in to our "Showbiz on Call" phone lines from California. She thinks Carrey should just butt out.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

SUSIE, CALLER FROM CALIFORNIA: He knows nothing about the situation. Elin did not baby sit Tiger Woods every single mile that he went out touring playing golf. So how could she know that he was screwing around? This is ridiculous. Shut your mouth.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Thank You, Susie. Our "Showbiz on Call" phone lines are always open, so give us a ring. Here`s the number, 1-888-SBT-BUZZ; that`s 1-888- 728-2899.

HAMMER: And now, the SHOWBIZ lineup. Here`s what`s coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

A bombshell apology to Sandra Bullock from Jesse James` alleged mistress. Michelle "Bombshell" McGee tells Sandy she`s sorry. But does she really think Sandra is going to forgive her?

Jessica Simpson`s brand-new controversy. Did she or did she not wear makeup for a makeup-free magazine cover?

And Sigourney Weaver`s "Avatar" outrage. She`s slamming the Academy saying "Avatar" lost the Oscar because James Cameron doesn`t have breasts. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

HAMMER: Now, on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, a bombshell apology to Sandra Bullock today. Jesse James` alleged mistress, Michelle "Bombshell" McGee makes a public apology to Sandra. And today, Sandra`s possible plan to finally break her silence.

Jim Carrey`s confession. Jim takes to Twitter again, this time to defend his controversial claim that Elin should have known about Tiger`s cheating.

Ryan Phillippe`s in-your-face relationship rant. Today, Ryan takes on all his critics to try to paint him as the bad guy in relationships. Ryan`s fighting mad and fighting back.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

PHILLIPPE: I`m tired of being (EXPLETIVE DELETED) on, man. I don`t feel like I deserve it, really.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What did you do?

PHILLIPPE: Nothing. Things happen.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Plus, more stories breaking from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker."

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today. Sandra, I`m sorry. It`s a bombshell apology today from the woman who claims she had an affair with Sandra Bullock`s husband, Jesse James.

HAMMER: Yes. Michelle "Bombshell" McGee`s claims about her affair with Jesse James first exploded on the pages of a tabloid magazine. And now, yes, she`s saying sorry to Sandra for all the pain and public embarrassment she has caused.

And that`s not all McGee is speaking out about. In a brand-new interview today, we have her fiery words about famous men who cheat and why she thinks mistresses are getting a bad rap. Yes, she said it.

And also making big news again today - Jim Carrey is at it again. This time, he`s tweeting about the swipe he took at Tiger Woods` wife, Elin. He`s saying he`s having a breakthrough, not a breakdown. Really, Jim?

Right now, from Hollywood, Lisa Guerrero, who is a special correspondent for "Inside Edition." And Lisa landed the new interview with Jesse James` alleged mistress. In New York is Sunny Hostin, from "In Session" on our sister network, Tru TV.

I`ve got to begin with the brand-new interview with Michelle "Bombshell" McGee. Now, Lisa, you sat down with McGee for "Inside Edition." And she wanted to make it perfectly clear she never wanted the alleged affair she claims to have had with Jesse James to go public.

I`ve got to tell you, based on how she`s milked it, I find that kind of hard to believe. But Lisa, what did she tell you about that?

LISA GUERRERO, SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT, "INSIDE EDITION": Well, I sat down with her for two hours on Sunday. And what she said was truly shocking on so many levels.

First of all, she claims that she never knew that Jesse James was married to Sandra Bullock. According to her, she said Jesse James duped her and said that they were separated.

When I said, "If you could say anything at all to Sandra Bullock right now, today, what would you say?" And she said, "You know, I would apologize to her. I didn`t know that they were married and, you know, I`m sorry for destroying your marriage." To me, you know, that`s a day late and a dollar short.

HAMMER: Yes.

GUERRERO: She also said that she never went to the media, that the media found out about their relationship. And "In Touch" went to her and cornered her. That`s what she claims.

So she didn`t really take ownership of her part in this affair at all. She just said that she was duped just like Sandra was duped.

HAMMER: Yes. Like I said, nothing to me has made it appear that she didn`t willingly tell her story.

GUERRERO: Right.

HAMMER: And really, you mentioned what I think is one of the most incredible parts of this interview, Bombshell McGee and what she had to say to Sandra Bullock. And Brooke, she actually apologizes is what she was saying.

ANDERSON: She did, A.J. When Bombshell was asked by Lisa, you know, what she would say to Sandra if given the chance, she responded with this, "I would like to tell Sandra I am so sorry this happened. A heartfelt apology. That you`re going through this - you must be feeling embarrassment, painful. To anybody, to see their husband like that, I feel bad for her."

OK, I read it. As I`m told, she said it, grammatical errors and all. Lisa, when she said this to you, did you get the impression that this was really a heartfelt apology?

GUERRERO: No, I felt she was doing spin control. You know, I think she knows she`s the most vilified woman in America. She`s broken up the marriage of America`s sweetheart.

She knows people hate her. And "hate" a strong word, but you know, there`s a lot of negativity directed at her right now from all corners. And I think she`s doing spin control. I think that she wants to blame somebody else for her behavior.

I think, you know, on some level, she feels bad. I think she wanted to become famous. I think - you know, she is, after all, a stripper. And you know, shockingly, she`s got two young boys at home.

One of my questions for her was, "How are you going to explain this scandal to your children someday?"

HAMMER: Yes.

GUERRERO: And that`s the one part of the interview where she actually got emotional and she started crying. And so that`s the only time I really felt like I kind of broke through that veneer of that tough girl image and really got her to be real for just a minute.

HAMMER: Yes. But back to that apology for a second, Sunny, I mean, I don`t think that Sandra Bullock cares one bit about anything that Michelle "Bombshell" McGee has to say. So should she, in any way, accept Bombshell`s half-apology there?

HOSTIN: Well, no. She shouldn`t accept it and she`s not going to accept it. And the bottom line is there is a special place in hell for women like Bombshell McGee -

HAMMER: Oh, no!

HOSTIN: Who like to sleep with married men. To try to like push it off, you know, to the men and say, "Well, they`re the married ones. It`s not my fault. It`s just such nonsense. And it just goes to show you the true skank that she is.

HAMMER: Well, to that end, in the brand-new interview today, Bombshell does go on to say that she does think that cheating men have to take responsibility for their actions and there`s a double-standard for the mistresses.

OK. Now, Brooke, I think this is going to get so many people just fired up and riled up.

ANDERSON: It certainly is and amen to everything that Sunny just said. Listen to what Bombshell McGee said when asked if women like her target famous men, "I do not target famous men. But it`s the man`s responsibility. They`re the ones in the marriage. They need to keep their vows. It`s very easy to say, "You know, what? I`m a married man. They can easily walk away. Why are these men getting off scott free? I think it is a double standard."

Hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up - Bombshell, last time I checked, it takes two to tango. So, I really think you need to take responsibility for being a home wrecker here.

And Lisa, you really challenged her on this point. Were you just flabbergasted by what she told you?

GUERRERO: Well, I was angry because after a certain amount of time, I said to her, "Look, you are one in a long line of women using the fact that you are breaking up these marriages to further your careers, for 15 minutes, so you can go pose for "Vanity Fair" or get a gig on "Extra" or get more money for your next stripping gig, you know, near Augusta.

She kind of stood to me for every single woman that - basically I called her a fame whore. You know, I was angry because I`m married to an athlete myself. And I see this happening all the time. I covered sports for 13 years. I saw these kinds of women target famous men.

And by the way, she wouldn`t be dating Jesse James if he wasn`t a famous man - bottom line.

HAMMER: Yes. No kidding. No kidding. I mean, I don`t think any of us can question that, what we have been hearing from all of Jesse`s alleged mistresses.

We`re still not hearing from Sandra Bullock. But today, there`s brand-new report about when Sandra may actually break her silence. There are talks today Sandra may actually appear on her friend George Lopez` talk show, "Lopez Tonight." That may happen in November when Conan O`Brien is set to make his debut on TBS, the network Lopez is on.

I`m thinking that`s a great move. It would be a safe place if she chooses to speak out. I think that would be probably the best place for her and a comfortable way to do it.

But right now, let`s move on to Jim Carrey`s brand-new Twitter comments today about his earlier post about the Tiger Woods scandal. Jim Carrey implied that Tiger`s wife, Elin, was a willing participant in Tiger`s cheating.

Everybody started saying, wow. It sounds like Carrey`s having a breakdown. Listen to what Jim is tweeting now, "No one has ever won the Tour De France while backpedaling. I do not plan to bow to expectations or to be confined by the fear of losing altitude in the `statusphere!`"

He goes on to say, "Some folks out there are worried that I stay up too late. This is no breakdown. It`s a breakthrough. And if you`ll just loosen these straps, I will show the difference."

What do you think? Sunny Hostin, is Jim Carrey having a breakthrough here with those words?

HOSTIN: He`s having a breakdown. I mean, he`s just a weirdo. You know, Jenny`s no longer with him to sort of normalize him. And now, we are seeing who he really is.

How could anyone say that Elin would have known about that? There was no way that she knew that he was getting on with porn stars. That is completely ridiculous, just way, way out there, even for Jim Carrey.

HAMMER: Well, and there are some who are saying, hey, would we be talking about Jim Carrey if he wasn`t tweeting? Maybe he`s just trying to stay relevant. I`m just saying that`s what people are suggesting. Sunny Hostin, Lisa Guerrero, I thank you both.

Today, Jessica Simpson is speaking out to defend her looks again. Why Jess continues to gets flak from her fresh-faced photo shoot for "Marie Claire" magazine.

And Ryan Phillippe is really fired-up. His explosive new fiery comments about relationships. Ryan says he`s getting a bum rap when it comes to relationships. And today, he says he`s fed up. He`s not going to take it anymore.

Lady Gaga is certainly no stranger to controversy. But new Gaga sex shocker took a lot of people by complete surprise. Is Gaga going celibate? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, this is the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Gosselin relatives to testify at Pennsylvania child labor laws hearing Wednesday. Twitter to allow companies to pay for their "tweets" to appear first in searches.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Jessica Simpson is rocking air-dried hair and a naked face on the cover of the brand-new "Marie Claire" magazine. But there is talk today that it`s all fake. Does Jessica have something to hide?

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. And just in today, Jessica`s no-makeup mess.

ANDERSON: New controversy today over Jessica`s naked face. Critics outraged saying Jessica may have had a little help for her au naturale shots. Well, today, Jessica is firing back.

Also just in today, Ryan Phillippe`s raw deal. Ryan says he`s sick and tired of being made out to be a monster years after his split from Reese Witherspoon. Is Ryan right or is he just being a whiner?

And today, Sigourney Weaver`s Oscar slam. The star of "Avatar" blasting the Academy saying the director James Cameron, only lost because he didn`t have breasts. Say what?

Right now, from New York is Ben Widdicombe who is a celebrity journalist. Also in New York is Kim Serafin. She is a senior editor for "In Touch" magazine.

OK. Ben, Kim, I`ve got to tell you, when I first saw Jessica Simpson`s makeup-free photos, I thought wow, that`s really brave. She is gorgeous, no doubt a natural beauty.

But I did have a sneaking suspicion that she may have had maybe a little bit of tinted lip gloss on. Kim, you work for a magazine. You know what goes into photos, what goes into retouching.

I don`t think there was airbrushing because there are imperfections. It`s not perfect. But do you think that Jessica`s critics could be on to something here?

KIM SERAFIN, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH" WEEKLY: Yes. You know, it`s admirable what she`s doing, and I think it`s great she`s trying to make people not feel bad about themselves. She`s trying to say, "Look, this is what I look like without makeup."

But you know what? She`s gorgeous without makeup so it kind of made me feel worse about myself. I put so much makeup for a TV appearance. But you are right. In a professional photo shoot, you have a professional photographer. You have people there to make sure nothing is out of place, you have good lighting.

ANDERSON: Excellent lighting - yes.

SERAFIN: Yes, exactly. I think you have a better representation. She took the pictures of herself on Twitter on an airplane. That is more normal because nobody was studying airplane lighting. So I think she is trying to do something good, though.

ANDERSON: Yes, I do, too. And honey, I wish I looked like that when I wake up every morning. Well, Jessica firing back today at those critics who do say that she may have had a little help.

Jess tells "Us Weekly" this, "I absolutely was not wearing makeup. My nose has been broken a couple of times. If you look at a retouched cover of me and you look at the `Marie Claire` cover, you could see there`s a big difference."

And you know what? We are going to let Jessica have the last word there because she deserves it.

All right. Moving to this now, just in today, Ryan Phillippe`s raw deal. Ryan is furious that he`s still being made out to be a bad guy after his split with Hollywood golden girl Reese Witherspoon months after she won her Oscar back in 2006.

But today, Ryan`s so over it. He tells Howard Stern on Stern`s satellite radio show that everybody else needs to get over it, too.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

PHILLIPPE: I have been dumped on in the press for relationship stuff over the past -

HOWARD STERN, RADIO TALK SHOW HOST: Right.

PHILLIPPE: You know, since Reese and I divorced.

STERN: Because that`s America`s sweetheart and how could you come off looking good in that?

PHILLIPPE: Right. But I`m tired of getting (EXPLETIVE DELETED) on, man. I don`t feel like I deserve it, really.

STERN: What did you do?

PHILLIPPE: Nothing. Things happen.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Things happen? The reason Ryan is being dumped on is because he allegedly cheated on Reese. I`ve got to say, I don`t really feel sorry for him one bit. I think he needs to suck it up. Kim, quickly, what do you think?

SERAFIN: Yes. I think out of all of the husbands of America`s sweethearts, he`s not really the one on everyone`s mind right now as being the bad guy. So I think he should just drop it and not even talk about it.

ANDERSON: Ben, we need a man`s perspective here. Do you think he`s being a big whiner? Or do you think he`s getting a raw deal?

BEN WIDDICOMBE, CELEBRITY JOURNALIST: Well, Brooke, from the man`s perspective, he is such a smarmy little drip. I mean, good lord, what happened to the marriage allegedly was that he cheated with Abbie Cornish. And he has denied cheating, Brooke, on Reese with Abbie Cornish.

However, they were a couple from long after he denied they were together. So I think he just really needs to get over it. I mean, what happened was that he was perceived of not being supportive of Reese when she won the Oscar.

He seemed that he wanted more out of the relationship and wanted to be a big-enough guy and he was intimidated by her success. So no, I have no sympathy for him.

ANDERSON: Yes. Maybe needed his ego stroked a little bit. All right. Also making big news today, a shocking new slam by the star of "Avatar," Sigourney Weaver. In a brand-new interview out today with a Brazilian Web site. Sigourney claims "Avatar`s" director, James Cameron, did not win the Oscar for two very interesting reasons.

She says, "Jim didn`t have breasts, and I think that was the reason. He should have taken home that Oscar." She is referring, of course, to Kathryn Bigelow who made history as the first woman to win the Best Director Oscar.

Ben, I`m hoping this got lost in translation. Because if it`s true - what do you think? Does it blow your mind that Sigourney would slam a woman like this?

WIDDICOMBE: It blows my mind that Sigourney doesn`t realize that her character died in "Avatar" so she can`t be in the sequel. The (UNINTELLIGIBLE) did not work on her. So there`s no point in sucking up to James Cameron.

It`s ridiculous. No woman ever won the Best Picture Oscar before. You can`t say the Academy has a bias towards giving the Oscar to women. So to me, the comment makes to sense whatsoever.

ANDERSON: And Kathryn Bigelow was very, very deserving of that Oscar. Ben Widdicombe, Kim Serafin, thank you both.

HAMMER: Today, the brand-new Jake Gyllenhaal interview. The Oscar nominated actor reveals new details about life in the spotlight and of course, his next big movie project. Jake is the new cover boy for the May issue of "GQ" magazine.

In it, Jake talks about his new role as an action adventure star. This month, Jake stars in "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time." He says the role is a dream come true.

Well, Jake also shared some personal reflections about "Brokeback Mountain" co-star Heath Ledger, telling "GQ" about Heath, "He was very sensitive. He didn`t always have a sense of performance in his everyday life. He knew who he was. I think he was just really sensitive. We often used to do a lot of things together and I think we felt safe together."

For more of Jake Gyllenhaal`s new interview, check out the May issue of "GQ" magazine on newsstands, April 20th.

ANDERSON: A Lady Gaga sex shocker. People all over the world just go nuts for Gaga. They love her music. They want to dance like her, even dress like her. But what will they think about Gaga`s new sex advice? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford backs out of "Footloose" remake. Fifty-third annual Grammy Awards to air live on CBS February 13, 2011.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Pam Anderson just floated across the dance floor, didn`t she last night on "Dancing with the Stars?" And the judges heaped large amounts of praise on Pam for her fancy footwork.

But I have a sinking feeling dancing is not the only thing on Pam`s mind. The former "Bay Watch" beauty could be in big trouble with the taxman. California officials claim that Pam failed to pay $493,000 in personal income tax.

She also made the California franchise tax board`s list of delinquent taxpayers. Pam`s attorney declined to comment on Pam`s current asset problem.

ANDERSON: Lady Gaga`s celibacy shocker. The always provocative and outrageous Gaga talking about sex. She`s not having any and she`s calling on her fans to just say no to sex, too.

Plus, a scary medical emergency for a rocker and reality TV star Brett Michaels. The brand-new details about Brett`s surprising surgery. It`s all making big news in "The Buzz" today.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over): Brett Michaels` emergency. The Poison front man, who is currently competing on "Celebrity Apprentice," had to be rushed to the hospital Monday for emergency surgery.

Michael Johnson leaves "Apprentice."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MICHAEL JOHNSON, "CELEBRITY APPRENTICE" CONTESTANT: Unfortunately, I`ve got some bad news, a family - personal situation. I`ve got to head back to San Francisco to take care of my son.

ANDERSON: Olympic sprinter, Michael Johnson, abruptly left "Celebrity Apprentice," telling Donald Trump on the show that his son is fine, but his departure was unavoidable.

Lady Gaga sex shocker.

(MUSIC)

Lady Gaga, known for racy performances and for talking bluntly about sex. But this time, the singer is telling fans to be celibate.

"MTV.com" reports Gaga told fans at an AIDS awareness event in England, quote, "I can`t believe I`m saying this - don`t have sex. It`s OK not to have sex. It`s OK to get to know people. I`m celibate. Celibacy`s fine."

She added, "It`s not really cool anymore to have sex all the time. It`s cooler to be strong and independent."

HAMMER: I say good for Gaga. Well, on Monday, we asked you to vote in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s exclusive poll. Right now, these are the shocking final results.

"`Jon and Kate` Part 2: Should they do another show together?" Look at this. A mere seven percent of you said yes. A whopping 93 percent, no way.

Some of the E-mails included this from Bridget in Wisconsin, "First. Jon complained Kate is an absentee mom. Now, he wants to do a show with her. Jon is a broke joke. Kate doesn`t need him."
