ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.

HAMMER: Hello, I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City with big news breaking today - the Lawrence Taylor rape claim shocker.

There were dramatic claims today that former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Lawrence Taylor is not only innocent but that he was set up. The football legend has been accused of raping a teenager who was brought to him by a pimp.

But today his agent and lawyer went on national TV for the very first time and flat out denied the claims. Well, almost all of the claims. However, a major diet company decided today, maybe it`s not such a good idea to have an accused rapist, namely L.T., as its spokesperson. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT now with all of the late-breaking developments.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(MUSIC)

(voice-over): NFL hall-of-famer Lawrence Taylor was loved on "Dancing with the Stars" and feared back in his football-playing days.

ALICIA QUARLES, ASSOCIATED PRESS: He was a bad boy of the field and one of the all-time great football players.

HAMMER: But today, Lawrence Taylor is playing defense once again, fighting a very disturbing charge that in this hotel outside of New York City, Taylor allegedly raped a 16-year-old prostitute who police say was forced to go to Taylor`s room by a pimp who had beaten her.

QUARLES: Lawrence is charged with third-degree rape, which is basically when the victim is underage.

ARTHUR AIDALA, LAWRENCE TAYLOR`S ATTORNEY: Don`t judge a book by its cover.

HAMMER: This morning, in an interview with the "Today" show`s Matt Lauer, Taylor`s attorney tried to shoot down all of the claims against his client one by one.

MATT LAUER, CO-HOST, THE "TODAY" SHOW: Did Lawrence Taylor have sex with this young lady, a 16-year-old, in his hotel room?

AIDALA: No.

LAUER: Did he have consensual sex with her?

AIDALA: No.

LAUER: Did she go to his hotel room?

AIDALA: I`m not going to get into those facts. Those facts will be litigated in the courtroom.

HAMMER: Today, this horrifying case led the weight loss company, Nutrisystem, to cut ties with Taylor.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Did you have sex with this woman?

LAWRENCE TAYLOR, NFL FOOTBALL PLAYER: No.

HAMMER: But people close to the football star are taking to the media to defend him.

LARRY KING, HOST, "LARRY KING LIVE": Now, his wife was booked to appear on this show.

HAMMER: Taylor`s wife, Lynette, was scheduled to defend her husband on "LARRY KING LIVE" last night, but she backed out at the last minute. Instead, she left a message for King with an incredible accusation.

KING: She believes that he was set up, that this was all of a plot to kind of nab him by enemies. She didn`t go into detail.

QUARLES: That claim that he was set up is really far-fetched.

HAMMER: But Alicia Quarles of the Associated Press tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Taylor`s troubled-fill past might make it hard for people to believe claims of a setup.

QUARLES: Lawrence has had a lot of problems with the law. He`s been arrested many times. And he was busted for buying crack cocaine a couple of times. This is a guy that admitted going to prostitutes in the past.

TAYLOR: I go to the door. You open the door and you`ve got two beautiful women sitting there, like, waiting for you. And like, you`re in the right place.

HAMMER: In a 2003 interview ON "60 Minutes," Taylor told Mike Wallace that back when he played football, opposing players would send prostitutes to his room and he did not turn them away.

MIKE WALLACE, ANCHOR, "60 MINUTES": They were sent to tire you out?

TAYLOR: And they did a pretty good job.

HAMMER: But this morning, on the "Today" show, Taylor`s attorney said Taylor`s history with prostitutes is just that, ancient history.

AIDALA: He was telling me about things that happened 30 years ago. That`s what I would like to classify the old Lawrence Taylor, not the recent Lawrence Taylor who has been - 12 years he`s been sober.

HAMMER: Sobriety led to a career resurgence for Taylor. Last year, he competed on "Dancing with the Stars." He was knocked out in the seventh week but his fancy footwork helped America forget all about his past troubles, at least for a while.

QUARLES: He was this big guy who could actually move. And yes, he had a charisma. America really fell in love with him.

HAMMER: But now, any image rehab Taylor may have hoped for is in serious danger as he becomes the latest star athlete involved in an ugly situation.

QUARLES: The details are just so tawdry and so disturbing if they are in fact true. It`s just sad all the way around.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Yes, the whole story really is so disturbing. And given Lawrence Taylor`s past, you have to wonder how all of this is going to ultimately fall out.

Right now, in Hollywood is Pat Lalama, who is an investigative journalist. Right now, right here in New York, Midwin Charles who is a criminal defense attorney and a legal contributor to "In Session" on Tru TV.

So Taylor`s wife, Lynette, defending him today, claiming he was set up. Now, she didn`t specify what she meant exactly by "set up." But Midwin, if he actually did have sex with this 16-year-old girl, is a claim of any kind of a setup going to make any kind of difference here?

MIDWIN CHARLES, LEGAL CONTRIBUTOR, "IN SESSION" ON TRU TV: It won`t. It absolutely won`t. This is third-degree rape, which is statutory rape, which means sex with a minor. No such thing as consent. No such thing as yes, no, maybe so. If you do it, you are guilty of statutory rape and that`s it.

HAMMER: And what is really hurting him in the court of public opinion at least is the fact that there`s no doubt Lawrence Taylor`s reputation absolutely precedes him.

Let`s run down a bit of his messy track record. Back in 1988, the NFL suspended him after he tested positive for cocaine. In `95, he checked into drug rehab twice. In `96, arrested for trying to buy crack cocaine from undercover agents.

Now, Pat, even though he is absolutely innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, given all of that history, I`ve got to say that it`s pretty easy to understand how people could automatically come to the conclusion this guy must be guilty and not give him the benefit of the doubt today.

PAT LALAMA, INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALIST: Well, we must give him the benefit of the doubt. But Midwin is absolutely right. Let me just go back to that point. It doesn`t mean about setup. You can`t have sex with a minor.

Now, when you look at his history and the fact that this is a man with all his troubles who still had that sense of entitlement in him because of his great athletic prowess, his personality. He was forgiven by fans and coddled by coaches and managers.

And yet, he still had this very, very, very disruptive and negative history. And I can see where people go, "Oh, yes, Lawrence. You just got yourself in a bit of trouble again." It doesn`t look good, but we have to withhold judgment until we know the facts.

HAMMER: Yes, absolutely. I`m doing that 100 percent. The interview on the "Today" show got heated today. Taylor`s attorney adamantly denying the charges against Lawrence Taylor. I want you to take a look at his response, the attorney`s response to Matt Lauer`s rapid-fire questions on the "Today" show this morning. Roll that.

LAUER: Did Lawrence Taylor have sex with this young lady, a 16-year-old, in his hotel room?

AIDALA: No.

LAUER: Did he have consensual sex with her?

AIDALA: No.

LAUER: Did she go to his hotel room?

AIDALA: I`m not going to get into those facts. Thos facts will be litigated in the courtroom when she`s on the stand and she`s cross-examined by me at a trial.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. We all noticed Taylor`s attorney would not answer that last question about whether or not the girl actually showed up at Taylor`s hotel room.

Midwin, he denied the other question, everything else. It really did look a little strange to me that he didn`t also deny that. I don`t know what was going on there. But it was odd, wasn`t it?

CHARLES: It did look odd. And that`s why, as an attorney, you ought to be very careful when you start to answer questions from a reporter about what it is your client did. Because now, the burden shifts. Now, the burden is on that attorney to say exactly what happened and not on the prosecution or the state to prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt.

HAMMER: Yes. It seems to me you start off right away saying, "We`ll discuss that in court, not until trial."

CHARLES: Exactly.

HAMMER: And somehow, in the course of that -

CHARLES: And my client is a wonderful husband -

HAMMER: Try to spin it positively - exactly.

CHARLES: He has been trying to get his life back in order. He hasn`t been in trouble in about 10 years. You go down that road.

HAMMER: Well, I can`t get over how in that "60 Minutes" interview, way back in 2004, Lawrence Taylor revealed how he reacted when call girls were sent to his hotel room by a rival football team so could wear him out before game date. Take a look at this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TAYLOR: Knock on the door. You open the door, and you`ve got two beautiful women sitting down, like, waiting for you. I`m, like, "Hey, you`re in the right place."

WALLACE: Come in.

TAYLOR: Hell yes. Have a seat.

WALLACE: They were sent to tire you out?

TAYLOR: And they did a pretty good job.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. He copped to it all with a smile on his face. That old interview getting a lot of play on TV today. But Taylor`s attorney is saying that`s the old Lawrence Taylor and you`ve got to give people at least the benefit of the doubt there.

But, still, I`ve got to say, this can`t be a good thing to have this interview floating around out there now. Pat, could this interview come back to haunt him in a trial?

LALAMA: No, I don`t think so. I mean, look, it`s great for the media to be able to dig that up and go, "Oh, look, he loves prostitutes." You can`t - I don`t believe - make the legal connection today. This is a separate case. And we`re talking about a minor.

We don`t know what the previous "prostitutional" situations might be - if that`s even a word. We`re talking about a minor. That`s what`s important here. The best thing his defense can do is go before a jury and say, "Look, Lawrence Taylor had every reason to believe that this person was of age."

That`s their best defense, to say she looked the age, she acted the age, and he didn`t think that he was doing anything wrong.

HAMMER: If this happened at all. Got to end it there. Pat Lalama -

LALAMA: Right.

HAMMER: Midwin Charles, thanks, guys. I appreciate it. All right. We`ve got to move on to another troubled athlete right now. Mike Tyson versus Barbara Walters, round two today. Tyson`s explosive new revelations about whether he really abused his ex-wife, Robin Givens.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TYSON: If I assaulted her, I must have really traumatized her a lot. Twenty-two years later, she`s still a strong advocate for it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I have never seen a reaction like this to something that we have done our show. The debate over Sandra Bullock adopting a black baby. We got a record number of posts on Facebook in a really short time. So many of you right fully outraged today at critics who are slamming Sandra

And rotten Apple? Why is Ellen DeGeneres apologizing to Apple?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ELLEN DEGENERES, HOST, "THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW": Everybody at Apple - Steve Jobs, Mr. Macintosh - I apologize.

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. And right now, rotten Apple? Well, stars are taking on Apple, the computer company.

I`ve got to tell you, our executive producer, Dave Levine, is not going to like this one bit. He loves his iPod and his iPad. He is an I fanatic. And quite frankly, so am I. But what is with all of this I- hating going on? Here`s CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

JEANNE MOOS, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): When Ellen DeGeneres poked fun at the iPhone by poking her fingers at a finicky touch screen in a spoof commercial -

DEGENERES: I should have my glasses on.

MOOS: It was like poking Apple in the eye.

DEGENERES: You know who didn`t think it was funny?

MOOS: Ellen pretended to struggle to send a message to her partner.

DEGENERES: Oh, my fingers are so much thicker than I remember. Everybody at Apple, Steve Jobs, Mr. Macintosh, I apologize.

MOOS: Apple wouldn`t comment to CNN on the brouhaha.

(on camera): The question is, is Apple acting rotten? Jon Stewart seems to think so.

JON STEWART, TALK SHOW HOST: Apple, you guys were the rebels, man, the underdogs. People believed in you. But now, are you becoming the man?

MOOS (voice-over): The man, because police raided a tech bloggers home after he paid $5,000 for the next model iPhone that someone who found it left behind at a bar.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: The officers bashed into his front door while he was at dinner.

MOOS: Jon Stewart called them Appholes, even though he says he loves their products. Folks love doing parodies, using the lower case I for instant iCoffin.

When a vibrator called the iGasm was introduced a few years back, it had Apple moaning with a cease and desist letter. Comedians can usually get away with making fun of iProducts.

DAVID LETTERMAN, TALK SHOW HOST: It`s the iPhone Nano. I understand it`s also a breath mint.

MOOS: And bloggers enjoyed torturing products like the iPad.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Answer my question!

MOOS: One guy gave it a cigarette and a blindfold then shot it. It has been water-boarded, turned into a skateboard and even worse, shoved into a blender.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I think I`ll press the iBlend button.

MOOS: iPad puree. Peewee Herman used it as a tray. Letterman licked it. Yet even those who tease it profess to love it.

DEGENERES: I love my iPad. I love my iPod. I love iHop. If you have anything to do with that.

MOOS: At least Apple hasn`t gone after iHop. Confusing iHop with iPad would be like comparing apples to oranges.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: That was pretty good. That was Jeanne Moos with SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Make fun of Apple all you want but Steve Jobs and company have sold a million iPads already. And quite frankly, our executive producer Dave - he`s having an affair with his.

All right. Right now I can tell you that Sandra Bullock is not giving up on showbiz. Now, "People" magazine reports today that despite everything that has happened to Sandra, she is definitely ready and going to get back to work soon.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City with big news breaking today - Tyson versus Barbara, round two.

Former boxing champ, Mike Tyson, went face-to-face today with Barbara Walters for the very first time since her interview 22 years ago with him and his then-wife, actress Robin Givens.

In that now legendary confrontation all the way back in 1988, Givens` claim on national TV that Tyson abused her. How could we ever forget this?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ROBIN GIVENS, ACTRESS: He gets out of control - throwing, screaming.

BARBARA WALTERS, TV JOURNALIST: Does he hit you?

GIVENS: He shakes, he pushes, he swings.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: With me right now, in Hollywood, Pat Lalama who is an investigative journalist. In New York, Midwin Charles, who is a legal contributor for "In Session" on Tru TV.

So for 22 years now, everybody`s been wondering why Mike Tyson didn`t react at all to Robin Givens when she made those incredible accusations. He wasn`t expecting that. He just sat there with a straight face, didn`t say anything.

Well, today, on "The View," Barbara Walters did ask him why he didn`t defend himself or say anything? Watch what Tyson said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TYSON: I don`t know. I was a young kid back then and I got - what do you call it - shanghaied (UNINTELLIGIBLE). And then, I didn`t know them. And at that stage of my life when I felt that I was vulnerable and dangerous, I just started thinking, and there`s going to be some fireworks in the moment, you know.

WALTERS: So you contained yourself? You controlled yourself?

TYSON: Yes, absolutely.

JOY BEHAR, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": But is it true that the next day, you threw a chair?

TYSON: Oh, I raised hell. Yes.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Well, Tyson didn`t exactly come right out and say, "Yes, I did assault Robin Givens." But, Pat, he didn`t deny anything either. Should he have?

LALAMA: You know what, I`m going to say something that I`m sure will not be perceived as politically correct. This man, unfortunately, is going to remain the poster boy for domestic violence in perpetuity. People are just not going to let it go.

But I`m going to tell you this. I think this man is far more self- reflective than Tiger Woods will ever be. I think this is a man, without having to come and apologize to us, knows what he may or may not have done wrong in his heart. I think he tries hard to resurrect himself. And I think he`s a lot more intelligent than the media portrays him and I think we need to give him a break.

HAMMER: Well, it did take him a long time to get there. We`re going to see a bit of that in just a moment here. But I agree with you that a lot of this introspection he now shows much greater than so many stars. But, yes, Pat, it did take him a long time to get to that place.

In this round two interview today with Barbara Walters on "The View," Tyson did allude to the fact that Robin Givens became this crusader against domestic violence over the years. Watch what he says.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GIVENS: She has a crusade to look after women and I guess good guys. I guess if I assaulted her, I must have really traumatized her a lot. Twenty-two years later, she`s still a strong advocate for it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. He says, "if I assaulted her." Midwin, you know, I don`t know - do you think maybe this is his way of saying, "I did it without saying it?" He almost seems confused about the whole issue.

CHARLES: He definitely seems a little bit confused. And I`m not even sure if this is the best forum for him to admit to any sort of wrongdoing.

I mean, I understand Pat`s comments about him trying to rehabilitate his image and the like. After all, domestic violence is very serious and we take it seriously today in society. But I just don`t know if this is the right forum for him to say yes or no to a violent crime.

HAMMER: Yes. Or if he`s even thinking it through that much. And let`s not forget. This is a guy, Mike Tyson, once worth hundreds of millions of dollars. He has been through drugs, rape conviction, prison time. Watch what he said to Pat`s point earlier about where he is now.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TYSON: Hammering a man down is just as much power as building him up. You know, I had to tear myself back down to be the man that I am now, you know. Just think about a guy like me with $300 million. I`m a big shot but I can`t stop cheating on my girlfriend and my wife.

WALTERS: Do you have money today?

TYSON: I`m totally destitute and I`m broke.

WALTERS: Are you?

BEHAR: Really?

TYSON: Yes, I have no money. But I have an awesome life. I have an awesome wife and awesome kids.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. And I hear that and I think, wow, here is a guy - he had it all. He was on top of his game. And now, he can look back and reflect. He can admit that even though he had it all, he still couldn`t be faithful to his wife. He squandered away $300 million.

Pat, I am thinking to your point earlier, a lot of famous cheating man right now could learn a whole lot from Mike Tyson.

LALAMA: Well, I hate to keep drawing back old poor Tiger. But every time I see Tiger, I see a man who is saying, "What can I say that will help me? What can I say that will help me?"

When you see Mike Tyson, what you see is what you get. This is a man who knows that he has demons, who knows he has struggled with anger issues. But this is a man with a soul and a brain.

I implore everyone go out and see the documentary that was made a couple of years ago called "Tyson." I went to see it. The filmmaker and he took questions at the end. And I was incredibly compelled by this person. And I think people need to really look at him rather than looking at the headlines.

HAMMER: All right. Good point. Pat Lalama, I appreciate that. I want to move on now to the new outrage over critics who slam Sandra Bullock`s adoption of a black baby.

Now, after SHOWBIZ TONIGHT first reported this story, we got the biggest response we have ever gotten on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook page. The comments are still coming in and you can continue to write yours.

I want you to take a look at what David B. wrote on our wall today. He wrote this, "I love Sandra for the fact that she adopted an American black child. There is nothing wrong with this on any level."

And almost everybody we heard from agreed absolutely with David despite critics accusing Sandra of adopting Louis because it`s fashionable, maybe even a publicity stunt. Midwin, when you hear this, what do you think?

CHARLES: Well, I can certainly understand where some of that criticism comes from. After all, there was a point in time in Hollywood where adopting a brown baby was clearly the latest accessory for a lot of Hollywood women.

But I actually don`t think that that applies to Sandra Bullock. After all, she did this in secrecy. She was not necessarily running around, traipsing around the world, different airports with paparazzi following her around. She was not at all looking for that attention.

HAMMER: Right.

CHARLES: Rather, she was sticking to her commitment of New Orleans` Katrina victims and adopting a child in that area. So I think kudos and thumbs up to her.

HAMMER: Yes. And the timing, obviously, was unfortunate, that this happened right around the time that the bombshell exploded literally with Jesse James, her allegedly cheating husband. But this process was in place long before apparently that ever happened.

CHARLES: (UNINTELLIGIBLE) and very secretive.

HAMMER: We`ve got a ton of calls that are still coming in to "Showbiz on Call." This one from Denise in New York who wanted to give her two cents. Listen to Denise.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

DENISE, CALLER FROM NEW YORK: I`ve always loved Sandra and I am an African-American woman. And I think any parent who has to give love, I don`t care whether they are white, black, yellow, or green, if you have love to give any child, you have that right. So to heck with the naysayers.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. Denise, thank you so much. To heck with the naysayers. I mean, I don`t see how anybody can argue with that. It`s 2010, for goodness sakes. Pat Lalama, Midwin Charles, thank you so much for being here.

Well, there is obviously a major case of cheating fever going on in Hollywood. And apparently, the vaccination is nowhere in sight. Today, alleged Tiger Woods` mistress, Rachel Uchitel - she is sounding off about another explosive star cheating scandal.

Or will we name Elisabeth Hasselbeck for outrageous slam against Erin Andrews and her sexy costumes on "Dancing with the Stars?" Or will it be Jesse James` alleged mistress, "Bombshell" McGee for her brand-new outrageous attack on Sandra Bullock`s husband?

And why rock star Pink`s husband makes her see red. It`s her startling confession about her mean streak. Didn`t know she had that in her. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

The angry wife - David Boreanaz` wife. She`s speaking out for the first time since his public confession that he cheated on her. His wife, Jaime Bergman, tells "People," quote, "I`m still angry. Now, there have been reports that Tiger Woods` alleged mistress, Rachel Uchitel, is the former lover who tried to blackmail Boreanaz.

Well, today, Uchitel tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that`s not true. Here`s what she tells us, quote, "I have made no claims against him and did not plan to assert any. Any statements to the contrary are false and I hope this statement will finally end any speculation about this issue."

Well, that is not the only big-time marriage cheating scandal that`s generating big buzz today. Michelle "Bombshell" McGee, the alleged mistress of Sandra Bullock`s husband just gave a brand-new and really outrageous interview to Howard Stern on his Sirius XM Satellite Radio show and came out swinging at Bullock`s husband.

Right now, in New York, Sunny Hostin who is a legal contributor for "In Session" on our sister network, Tru TV. Also in New York is Ben Widdicombe who is a celebrity journalist.

So Michelle "Bombshell" McGee is speaking out and claiming to set the record straight about her supposed affair with Jesse James. And the bombshell stripper launched a couple of new bombshells of her own. She tells Howard Stern she actually feels bad for Sandra Bullock. Listen to this.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

HOWARD STERN, RADIO TALK SHOW HOST: I feel bad for Sandra Bullock.

MCGEE: I do, too.

STERN: Right?

MCGEE: I feel bad for her.

STERN: Has Jesse called you?

MCGEE: No, no.

STERN: Do you think he`s mad at you?

MCGEE: Oh, I think he hates me. He has to.

STERN: Why would he hate you? You didn`t break the story.

MCGEE: No, but I`m sure he blames me for coming out and, you know, throwing him under the bus.

STERN: Right. So he hasn`t called you?

MCGEE: No.

STERN: Do you think Sandra Bullock tried to leave him? Or should she give him another chance.

MCGEE: Oh, I think she should absolutely leave him.

STERN: Were you aware that they secretly adopted a kid together?

MCGEE: No idea.

STERN: That ought to blow your mind, too.

MCGEE: I felt horrible, horrible.

STERN: Yes, I bet.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: She feels horrible. Horrible. Now, I`ve got to tell you something. It sounds like she believes what she`s saying. But I find it hard to believe a word that comes out of this woman`s mouth.

SUNNY HOSTIN, LEGAL CONTRIBUTOR, "IN SESSION" ON TRU TV: I think she`s a sociopath. I mean, first of all, you know, she`s got the whole tattoo on her face going for her. And now, she`s just talking about this affair over and over and over again and actually says she feels sorry for her. Why doesn`t she just shut up then?

HAMMER: Yes. There`s a whole lot of rationalization going on here is what I think.

HOSTIN: Come on.

HAMMER: She doesn`t even know what she`s saying. Well, Michelle "Bombshell" McGee revealed that she was watching the Oscars the night that Sandra won. You remember that speech. Sandra thanked Jesse. He got all teary-eyed. Well, you`ve got to hear McGee`s reaction to that. Listen to what she tells Howard Stern.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

STERN: Hey, did it blow your mind when you saw the Academy Award speech and she`s pointing to him and he`s crying and looking -

MCGEE: It seemed so fake. I was like, is this guy for real right now? Like, he just texted to me a week ago telling me he missed me and he`s crying for his wife on TV?

STERN: Yes.

MCGEE: I was so disgusted by it.

STERN: And she`s giving the speech, (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

MCGEE: And that`s the first time I saw them together ever.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: This was a great interview. Now, Michelle said she was totally duped by Jesse and really honestly thought that he and Sandra were secretly separated. Ben, are you buying any of this?

BEN WIDDICOMBE, CELEBRITY JOURNALIST: A.J., you know, I`ve had enough of this awful woman and her crocodile tears and her fake concern for Sandra Bullock. Now, I believe that Jesse was lying to her and saying that he was separated when he clearly wasn`t. So in that sense, I think she was lied to. But really, if she had any sense of decorum, she would get off the stage and stop giving interviews.

HAMMER: All right. You know, this was something astonishing that was revealed. She really cleared this up. You know the swastika that Michelle has on her back - Howard Stern had to ask her about that as well. She said she got it in her late teens at a time when she was running with a rough crowd. Watch this.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

STERN: Were you a white supremacist for a while?

MCGEE: No. Never a white supremacist. No, no. More like white pride stuff.

STERN: Right.

MCGEE: You know, stuff like that.

STERN: Were you like a skin head for a while?

MCGEE: Oh, yes.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. So to be clear, not a white supremacist, she was a skin head. So now at least we understand that. Sunny, can you explain any of this to me?

HOSTIN: I can`t explain it. I don`t understand it. It makes me question Jesse James even more. I mean, she apparently has a tattoo with a WP like on each leg or something. I mean, he obviously saw that, what did that mean.

HAMMER: Yes.

HOSTIN: It just is unfathomable that this woman is being given her 15 minutes of fame. I think we take it away from her.

HAMMER: Maybe this is the last we`ll hear from her after our next segment. Because Michelle McGee`s claims are so outrageous, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is officially nominating her as the most provocative celebrity of the week. So should we choose Michelle "Bombshell" McGee as most provocative?

Should we choose Elisabeth Hasselbeck for her explosive comments about Erin Andrews and her sexy costumes on "Dancing with the Stars?" Or should we choose "Bones" star, David Boreanaz, for his explosive admission about cheating on his wife?

Sunny, Ben, stay where you are. We will have that in just a moment. Right now, we have the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Showbiz movie news: "Planet of the Apes" prequel set for June 2011. Showbiz movie news: Tom Cruise`s "Mission: Impossible 4" to open December 2011.

HAMMER: Right, now it`s the showbiz salute to moms. And Happy Mother`s Day, Mommy. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT going one on one with actress and rapper Queen Latifah.

Now, long before Queen Latifah was an Oscar-nominated star, she was just Dana Owens, a woman who wanted to launch her rap career. And her biggest cheerleader then and now was her mother.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

QUEEN LATIFAH, RAPPER AND ACTRESS: If it wasn`t for my mother, I wouldn`t even be a rapper. You know, she introduced me to the D.J. who wanted to produce my demo. And the whole group of friends that wound up becoming the Flavor Unit, my whole rap crew.

And she used to go to the shows with me back in the day. My mom is actually very, very cool. Hey, this is Queen Latifah wishing my Mommy, Rita, a Happy Mother`s Day. I love you, Mom.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Nice to hear how supportive she always was. Queen Latifah`s new movie, "Just Wright," opens May 14th. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Oh, finally. You guys all ready? All right. Well, not much of a response in here. But it is the moment we`ve all been waiting for. Time to name SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s most provocative celebrity of the week. You`re ready, right, guys?

HOSTIN: Ready.

HAMMER: All right. We`re back with Sunny Hostin from "In Session," Ben Widdicombe, who is a celebrity journalist. And I`ve got to say tough call this week.

But here are the nominees to be named SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s most provocative celebrity of the week. First, there`s Jesse James` alleged mistress, Michelle "Bombshell" McGee, for her explosive new interview about Sandra Bullock`s husband, slamming Jesse James here.

Also nominated was Elisabeth Hasselbeck for dissing the sexy clothes of "Dancing with the Stars`" Erin Andrews. Then TV star David Boreanaz for confessing he cheated on his wife. Sunny, before we announce it, who do you think deserves to get it?

HOSTIN: It`s a really tough call for me, but because you know how I feel about mistresses and their special place in hell, I`m still going to go with "Bombshell." I`m going to go with "Bombshell."

She`s got a tattoo on her face. She`s blaming Sandra Bullock for the fact that she slept with her husband and she`s a skinhead. She wins. Come on.

HAMMER: Fair enough. Can I please get a rousing, are we ready yet, guys?

CREW: Sure.

HAMMER: People are sleeping around here today. What`s going on? Must be the allergies. All right. Right now, may I have our drum roll, please?

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is naming Elisabeth Hasselbeck as the most provocative celebrity of the week. And I`ve got to tell you. As I mentioned, it was a tough decision because, of course, David Boreanaz and Michelle McGee did some terrible things.

But really, when you think about it, nobody got people talking this week like Elisabeth Hasselbeck and two days in a row on "The View." Ben, do you think we got it right?

WIDDICOMBE: Well, I would have placed her third, I have to say, in the list. But I agree with you. I mean, it was shocking, her opinions about Erin Andrews, especially when you think about everything Erin went through that another woman would have that really retrograde attitude about her clothes. I was surprised that she said those things.

HAMMER: Yes. Now, remember, what she said was maybe she should not have worn clothes as skimpy as she did because of the peephole stalker that`s now doing time in jail. And then he wouldn`t have had to go to jail. And I heard her saying this live on TV. I`m like -

HOSTIN: Yes.

HAMMER: Elisabeth, stop talking.

HOSTIN: Stop, stop.

HAMMER: You can kind of understand why she would certainly earn the award this week.

HOSTIN: Yes, I guess so. I would have placed her third as well because I think certainly David coming forward and saying he slept with someone else only because he was being blackmailed - that was sort of a close call for me.

HAMMER: Yes, absolutely.

HOSTIN: But I think Elisabeth said what a lot of people were thinking and it takes a lot of courage to say that no matter off-color and how unpopular it is. A lot of people were talking about that.

HAMMER: Yes. But the backlash was so intense and then to see her tearfully -

HOSTIN: And she cried.

HAMMER: Apologizing the next day and she called up Erin Andrews and she apologized and all because her daughter was saying, "Mommy, why do you look like you feel so bad?" And she said, "I hurt somebody`s feelings." And she started crying on the show.

HOSTIN: Yes.

HAMMER: And I give her a lot of credit for taking her words back and admitting maybe it wasn`t the best thing. There it is. Are we excited now everybody? Sunny Hostin, Ben, as always, I thank you guys very much for being here.

And that is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I thank you for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT now live at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Monday through Friday and still TV`s most provocative entertainment news show seven days a week, 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific here on HLN.
