(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Breaking news in the case of 27-year-old Dalia Dippolito, accused of trying to arrange her husband`s murder.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Honestly, you think it`s worth getting killed over that much money?

DALIA DIPPOLITO, CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER: It`s not even over the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) money. Like, you don`t (EXPLETIVE DELETED) get it.

There`s no changing -- no, there`s no, like -- I`m determined already.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: (INAUDIBLE)

DIPPOLITO: I`m positive. Like, 5,000 percent sure.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The judge presiding over the Dippolito divorce case has granted a stay (INAUDIBLE) divorce proceedings at the request of prosecutors, who fear it would interfere with their criminal case against Dippolito.

DIPPOLITO: All right, so he wants to get paid before then.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: As soon as he brings the paper, you know he`s dead, you`re going to have to pay him.

DIPPOLITO: All right.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Seriously...

DIPPOLITO: What paper`s he going to bring me? I`m going to know he`s (EXPLETIVE DELETED) dead. Like, the cops are going to come to my house.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Newspaper, whatever.

DIPPOLITO: OK.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: ... whatever (INAUDIBLE)

DIPPOLITO: OK.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Dippolito allegedly tried to set up her husband`s murder, including giving an alleged hitman $1,200...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I was going to get 3,000 from you today.

DIPPOLITO: Right.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: ... and 3,000 when it`s all done.

DIPPOLITO: Right.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK? So since I`m not going to collect all of it at once, you know, just throw in maybe 1,000 more...

DIPPOLITO: OK.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: ... 1,000 or 2,000. So 7,000 or 8,000 once it`s done?

DIPPOLITO: Just 7,000. Is that OK?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK, 7,000 cash.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And weeping uncontrollably when told by cops that her husband was dead...

DIPPOLITO: Please!

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You want to help your husband, you need to go (INAUDIBLE)

DIPPOLITO: No! No!

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Problem was, her husband was sitting at the police station.

DIPPOLITO: Oh, my God!

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He`s alive.

DIPPOLITO: Come here, please! Come here! Mike, come here!

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And the hitman? He worked for Palm Beach police.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Don`t worry. It`s straight. He just needs the price of a gun. That`s (INAUDIBLE)

DIPPOLITO: And you`re sure everything else is OK?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes.

DIPPOLITO: You`re sure, sure?

(END AUDIO CLIP)

GRACE: Ellie Jostad, our chief editorial producer, on the story -- what about it, Ellie?

ELLIE JOSTAD, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER: Well, Nancy, it looks like Michael Dippolito and Dalia Dippolito are going to have to stay married for a little bit longer, even though prosecutors allege that she tried to have him killed. Now, it was actually the husband, the would-be victim, Michael Dippolito, who asked the judge to put a hold on the divorce proceedings. They have both filed for divorce against the other. But that`s going to be on hold now because Michael Dippolito was told that his divorce case is actually interfering with the criminal case that prosecutors are trying to build against his wife.

So here is the evidence that they have against Dalia Dippolito -- allegedly. She talked to a friend, sometimes described as possibly her lover, about wanting to have her husband killed. She said that she would give him $1,200 to buy a gun and hire a hitman. Now, this undercover -- or I should say, rather, confidential informant went to police, told them that Dalia Dippolito was trying to have her husband killed. So Boynton Beach police arranged to have an undercover police officer meet with Dalia Dippolito.

The undercover officer was told he would get $3,000 on completion of the deal, and Dalia Dippolito told him that she could also have the $10,000 she said her husband would have in his pockets. So she also agreed to try to set up some sort of alibi. She said she`d go get her hair done, something like that. They eventually decided she should go to the gym the morning the alleged hit was supposed to take place. She also discussed various possible exit routes. She gave the hitman her husband`s photo, told him his schedule. They got this all worked out.

So what police did is as soon as she left for the gym that morning that the alleged hit was supposed to go down, they -- she goes to the gym. Police staged a crime scene. They set up the house to look at though the hit had happened and her husband was dead. They strung crime scene across their condo. They had an evidence technician actually dusting for fingerprints in front of the house. And the whole thing is caught on tape when Dalia Dippolito gets back from the gym and is told that her husband is dead.

Now, officers said that although she burst into hysterics, started crying, they said the whole thing seemed rehearsed, as if she knew she was going to be told that her husband was dead. She did start crying, bawling, screaming that she couldn`t believe her husband was dead. But when they took her to the police station, she was actually confronted by her husband, who was alive and well.

Now, Dalia Dippolito still pledges (ph) her innocence. She says that she did not try to have her husband killed. She is currently charged with conspiracy to commit murder. She is on house arrest. And although she allegedly tried to kill her husband, she`s going to stay married to him for now.

GRACE: A Florida beach beauty marries her dream man, the newlyweds all set to live happy ever after until death does them part. What the 26- year-old beauty didn`t plan on was the hitman she hires to murder the new husband is a cop. The cops sting the bride, and of course, it`s on video.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

DIPPOLITO: Hey, what`s up?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: (INAUDIBLE)

DIPPOLITO: I love you, too.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes, you love me, too. Honestly, you think it`s worth getting killed over that much money?

DIPPOLITO: It`s not even over the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) money. Like, it`s not even about the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) money. Like, you know that money, we`ll spend it, like, in the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) blink of an eye. It`s not about the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) money. Like, it`s about, like (INAUDIBLE) friends, all that other (EXPLETIVE DELETED). Like, the thing is, is, like, OK, with his wife, like, she didn`t have anything. They were, like, renting. So like, divorcing her, it didn`t matter. Like, me going and (EXPLETIVE DELETED) filing for divorce, like, he`ll come after my (EXPLETIVE DELETED) ass, period. You know what I mean?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK, well, all I`m trying to say is...

DIPPOLITO: And all his friends -- like, he ran into another guy today at Target that was, like, organized crime or whatever, also on probation. Like, he keeps running into all these (EXPLETIVE DELETED) people, is what I`m saying to you. Like, he knows a lot of people.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: All I`m saying, this guy, you know, he`s on (INAUDIBLE) the street, you know? He`s -- this is all he does. He don`t want nothing to do with you after.

DIPPOLITO: Good.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK? And, like, you know, you don`t contact him, he don`t contact you, and he might tell you to get out of town or something for a day, you know?

DIPPOLITO: Yes, but the problem is that I never go out of town. So now all of a sudden, this (EXPLETIVE DELETED) is going to go down, and I`m going to go out of town.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: (INAUDIBLE)

DIPPOLITO: Like, I`ll go to Boca or I`ll go somewhere else, but like...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You need, like, an alibi to be somewhere...

DIPPOLITO: Right. Right.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: ... where they can verify when it happens.

DIPPOLITO: Yes. I`ll go get my hair done or something, or I`ll -- I`ll be somewhere, but I mean, to go out of town? I never go anywhere. Right away, everyone`s going to be, like, Oh, what a coincidence. You never (EXPLETIVE DELETED) go anywhere, and the day you leave, this (EXPLETIVE DELETED) happens.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK. Did you give me the address and a picture of him or...

DIPPOLITO: I have a picture of him right now.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK. And just right now, I guess -- you`re right here, right behind these town homes right here, the two-story town homes?

DIPPOLITO: Not these, the other ones on the left. If you want, follow me home. I`m right here. I`m right down the corner, if you want.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No, I`m late as hell. I`m going to do (INAUDIBLE) you told me he goes to LA Fitness, right?

DIPPOLITO: Yes, but he just had surgery done, so he hasn`t been going to the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) gym.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK, so let`s say he stalks your house for a day or two. Will he step outside to, like...

DIPPOLITO: He walks the dogs.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK. That`s fine.

DIPPOLITO: Like, he goes, and you know what I mean, like, he walks the dogs or whatever. But like, when`s he doing this? Because this other (EXPLETIVE DELETED) that you (EXPLETIVE DELETED) said before, I gave all this (EXPLETIVE DELETED) money and nothing was done.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I had nothing to do with that. I told you to stay away from them.

DIPPOLITO: I didn`t give them anything.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I told you...

DIPPOLITO: What are you talking about?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: (INAUDIBLE) when you walked into the clothes store, I told you...

DIPPOLITO: I didn`t give them any money.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Oh, they told me you did. You told them that you were going to give them my Range Rover or something like that.

DIPPOLITO: No, that was (EXPLETIVE DELETED). That still calls me, but I told him -- I told him...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yo...

DIPPOLITO: ... I`m out of town.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: ... they`re trouble. I`m telling you, they do it -- they`re going to get you in trouble.

DIPPOLITO: They don`t even know about this. They don`t know about this. They don`t know (EXPLETIVE DELETED) anything.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I haven`t talked to them.

DIPPOLITO: The other guy that wasn`t with them...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No, don`t...

DIPPOLITO: ... he called me...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: (INAUDIBLE) I got nothing to do with this.

DIPPOLITO: Right. I don`t talk to them. They don`t even ask me about you. Not the other guy, the other one is the one because he wanted to help with some sort of Web site (EXPLETIVE DELETED), but I haven`t talked to him in, like, a couple months.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK -- so OK, after he kills him or whatever, your mom and all them are not going to, like -- his mom is not going to, like, be suspicious of you or anything like that?

DIPPOLITO: Why me? Like, do you know what (EXPLETIVE DELETED) killing somebody is?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Didn`t you say that...

DIPPOLITO: Yes, but killing somebody? Come on. I mean, that`s (EXPLETIVE DELETED) -- you know, nobody`s going to be able to point a finger at me. But I need to him to say, like -- remember you were asking me who`s his enemy, who`s this, who`s that?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes, I was trying to (INAUDIBLE)

DIPPOLITO: All right, there is this guy -- there is this guy that, like, (EXPLETIVE DELETED) hates him, hates him, hates him. Like, he snitched him out, and now that family is doing time right now.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK, now, if he doesn`t have no direct contact with you other than...

DIPPOLITO: Look at that hoochie!

(LAUGHTER)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK, he`s not even going to collect from you until after he`s (INAUDIBLE) shows you, you know, he`s dead. That`s the way he works (EXPLETIVE DELETED).

DIPPOLITO: Right.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: So if you (EXPLETIVE DELETED) him over, he`ll come after you.

DIPPOLITO: How the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) would I (EXPLETIVE DELETED) him over with $3,500?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m just telling you that`s how he is.

DIPPOLITO: I know, but...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He`s a dirty guy.

DIPPOLITO: No, that`s fine. That`s fine, like, but how -- you got to tell him, too, like, you know, I can`t go (EXPLETIVE DELETED) meeting Buddy and giving him money. Like, he better send someone and then I`ll send someone.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No, this is going to be after it`s done.

DIPPOLITO: All right.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He`s not taking it, like, before. It`s going to be after it`s done. It`s on my word, OK? I know him, you know, like, back in the day (INAUDIBLE) he does a job...

DIPPOLITO: Right.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: ... and all this (EXPLETIVE DELETED). So he`s good at it.

DIPPOLITO: OK. But now, how am I supposed to know what day he`s going to do it?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He`s going to give you a couple of days notice. He`s not...

DIPPOLITO: Like, for example, like, Wednesday, he`s going to Boca. He`s got, like, a dentist appointment in the morning.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Listen, we can`t put it on his schedule. He`s going to know the best time, where, furthest place from your house. He`s going to have everything organized.

DIPPOLITO: OK.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK? It`s going to be within -- before Tuesday, Wednesday, something like that, because he`s going to Costa Rica Thursday.

DIPPOLITO: All right. So he wants to get paid...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: So he wants to get...

DIPPOLITO: ... before then. Right.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: As soon as he brings you the paper, you know he`s dead, you`re going to have to pay him.

DIPPOLITO: All right.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Seriously...

DIPPOLITO: What paper is going to bring me? I`m going to know he`s (EXPLETIVE DELETED) dead. Like, the cops are going to be at my house...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Newspaper, whatever.

DIPPOLITO: OK. That`s fine.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: As long as you get the proof, you know, then, you know, you`re straight. But like I said, you promised me...

DIPPOLITO: Why don`t I just (EXPLETIVE DELETED) give you the money and you give it to him.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No. No.

DIPPOLITO: OK...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m not going to do that. I`m doing -- giving him the deposit, whatever, and -- I`m being straight honest with you. Like, I`d really appreciate if you could help me out a little bit with, like, the bill, that bill, the one (INAUDIBLE) an extra $200 on that. I`m not getting nothing out of it.

DIPPOLITO: What are you talking about?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Like, you know, just throw me two bills because I`m, like, behind on some stuff. Not 2,000, just, like, 200. I`m not making nothing...

DIPPOLITO: I brought 1,200. Like, that`s all I brought. He`s asking for 1,200?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes. You can`t -- you can`t pull out the ATM or debit or anything?

DIPPOLITO: I withdrew money today to (EXPLETIVE DELETED) get this. Let me see if it`ll let me take it. If it`ll let me take it, I`ll take it for you.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK. Want to check and see?

DIPPOLITO: And so what are you asking me for afterwards? Like, I`ll give you 20 once it`s done.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: That`s it. I`m not greedy. I just want to be able to catch up on, you know, things (INAUDIBLE) You say he has 100,000 in the bank account, whatever. Just give me 20, but cash, like (INAUDIBLE)

DIPPOLITO: Right. Right. No, of course. I`m not going to write you a check. I know that.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

DIPPOLITO: But yes, everyone`s going to think it`s related to that (EXPLETIVE DELETED) (EXPLETIVE DELETED) because I`m going to tell them, I`m going to say, you know, like, (EXPLETIVE DELETED). I`m just going to tell them, like, these guys went in -- like, he`s been bumping into guys. I`m going to tell them about the guy at Target that we ran into, the weird guy that lives in our (EXPLETIVE DELETED) neighborhood, too, that`s on (EXPLETIVE DELETED) probation for something else. I`m going to throw all their (EXPLETIVE DELETED) names in it. I don`t care. I`m just going to start naming a whole bunch of stuff. I`m going to say, you know...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK, that`s enough. I don`t want to talk about it. Let`s just get this (EXPLETIVE DELETED) done with. I don`t want to hear from this guy after. That`s it. It`s done.

DIPPOLITO: I know, and we never talk about it again, ever, do we talk about it again.

And you`re sure, like, we can trust this guy and everything`s OK with this guy, right?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yo, the people that he`s done, trust me, he`s known for that. What`s good about it, like, he doesn`t have no (INAUDIBLE) too much because he isn`t legally here, so it`s, like -- you know? (INAUDIBLE) deport his ass.

I swear, my wallet`s empty because I`ve been going through all this (EXPLETIVE DELETED) with my work. That`s why I asked you to (INAUDIBLE)

DIPPOLITO: Really don`t care.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: ... grab a couple just to get...

DIPPOLITO: Like, I`ve known you for (EXPLETIVE DELETED)-ever. I brought pictures. I`ve known you forever. It`s, like, you know?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No, just give me one picture. I don`t want to carry too much (INAUDIBLE)

DIPPOLITO: I know. No, I know, but let me see...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m late for work. Let`s do this, get this done with.

DIPPOLITO: Hold on.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I got to meet him, too, and...

DIPPOLITO: And he knows the truck and everything like that?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He knows the truck.

DIPPOLITO: And I have a picture of the Porsche. Like, he doesn`t need that, then, is what you`re saying.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He just needs to see him once outside your community, walking the dog, whatever.

DIPPOLITO: My grandfather, he`s, like, dying.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: This is him?

DIPPOLITO: My grandfather?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No, this is your husband?

DIPPOLITO: Yes.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK. Just give me this.

DIPPOLITO: Yes, but take my grandfather (EXPLETIVE DELETED) out of the picture! Can`t you (EXPLETIVE DELETED) cut him up?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Here.

DIPPOLITO: Here, here, here. Is this a good picture or no?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes.

Well, if you`re still getting your life straight after this, seriously, don`t ever do this (EXPLETIVE DELETED) again, you know?

DIPPOLITO: You know what? You (EXPLETIVE DELETED) start getting your (EXPLETIVE DELETED) together, too. Don`t (EXPLETIVE DELETED) lecture me!

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: That`s what I`ve been trying to do! I`m just trying (INAUDIBLE)

DIPPOLITO: These are what the homes look like where I live.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Just leave that. That`s it.

DIPPOLITO: All right. OK. So you`re fine.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No extra information you can give to him, nothing? That`s it? And you don`t have nothing to do with...

DIPPOLITO: I`m not -- I`m not seeing him, right?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Just when it`s done, give him the...

DIPPOLITO: Right. But right now, I`m not seeing him. I`m not anything. Wipe my (EXPLETIVE DELETED) prints off those (EXPLETIVE DELETED) pictures. Really, you`re going to give him something with my (EXPLETIVE DELETED) fingerprints all over?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m going to show it to him. He`s not going to keep it.

DIPPOLITO: All right. OK, let me see if I can pull this out right now.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I can give him the 1,000, then give him 200 later, and just give me this 200. Seriously, I was supposed to be at (EXPLETIVE DELETED) work.

DIPPOLITO: But you`re sure, though, that this (EXPLETIVE DELETED), like, it`s (EXPLETIVE DELETED) solid? Like, it`s not going to...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yo...

DIPPOLITO: Oh, he left or...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: This guy is (EXPLETIVE DELETED) cute, yo, man...

DIPPOLITO: Because you were, like, Oh, he`s on the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) list. You know, he`s not on no (EXPLETIVE DELETED) list for anything because I had him looked up. So it`s, like, you know, that was (EXPLETIVE DELETED). He wasn`t on any (EXPLETIVE DELETED) watch list.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yo, this guy`s a professional. It`s not (EXPLETIVE DELETED). He doesn`t charge 10 grand to do it because all he does is get it done and that`s it, you know?

DIPPOLITO: All right. When are you going to give him the money and (EXPLETIVE DELETED)?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Today. He`s coming by the store.

DIPPOLITO: All right.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We`ll give him 1,000 and then...

DIPPOLITO: All right, let me take this out right now.

It won`t let me do it. Follow me to Bank of America.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Bank of America? Where`s that?

DIPPOLITO: (INAUDIBLE) I told you withdrew money...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I know, but how far is Bank of America?

DIPPOLITO: At Boynton Beach. And then if you want, you could take 95 from there.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It`s that far?

DIPPOLITO: Huh?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It`s that far?

DIPPOLITO: It`s, like -- it`ll take us five minutes to get there. But then you can take 95 from there instead of Gateway.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK, no. What I`ll just do, take 800 and you give him the extra 400 when you see him because I`ll be able to -- I`ll just take the 8. I`ll give him the 8, you know what I`m saying, and then you give him...

DIPPOLITO: Yes, but that doesn`t look (EXPLETIVE DELETED) weird, like...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No, because I`ll grab it for him. I`ll grab it for him.

DIPPOLITO: Are you sure?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes. Yes. Don`t worry. It`s straight. He just needs the price of the gun. That`s why (INAUDIBLE)

DIPPOLITO: Are you`re sure everything else is OK?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes.

DIPPOLITO: You`re sure, sure?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What more sure could you want? You`re planning a murder. Come on! Stop!

The door was open, and they told me that Mike was dead. And they told me that I couldn`t see him. I couldn`t see the dogs. I couldn`t see anybody. They said to me, please -- I wanted to call you. I wanted to call his mom. I wanted to call everybody, and they told me no, no.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: They told you that Mike was dead?

DIPPOLITO: Yes. They told me Mike was dead.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: How come they`re saying that you met somebody in the gas station?

DIPPOLITO: No! No! They told me Mike was dead. They were at my house this morning! And then I left with the officers to help them try to see who did it and...

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: How many times did I told you to leave that guy! How many times did I tell you that, Dalia?

DIPPOLITO: Mom, I know. I can`t talk about this now! Can I just...

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: OK, I understand. I understand, all right? We`re taking care of it, OK?

DIPPOLITO: When`s Mike coming?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Everybody`s coming. Everybody`s coming.

DIPPOLITO: When is he coming?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Everybody`s coming now, Dalia. Everybody`s coming now.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: He asked for 3 grand. (INAUDIBLE) anymore once it`s done?

DIPPOLITO: I didn`t ask him. That`s all he said to me was, was, I`m going to need 3 grand flat. So it`s, like, what the (EXPLETIVE DELETED), you know what I mean? Like, he said to me -- he`s, like -- oh, he`s, like, I`m going to need 3 grand from you up front, and he`s, like, and a key to your house. Why do you need a (EXPLETIVE DELETED) key to my house, like, for that (EXPLETIVE DELETED). You know what I mean? I`ll (EXPLETIVE DELETED) handle my own (EXPLETIVE DELETED).

DIPPOLITO: Do we really have to --

(LAUGHTER)

DIPPOLITO: I know my right to remain silent.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Let`s just get this (EXPLETIVE DELETED) done with. I don`t want to hear from this guy. You don`t want to hear from this year. That`s it. It`s done.

DIPPOLITO: I know. And we never talk about it again. Ever.

NANCY GRACE, HOST: The bride wears white. The groom has a tux. The wedding cake is delicious. The only thing missing? The hit-man that cops say the bride hires to murder the groom.

Back to you, Ellie Jostad.

ELLIE JOSTAD, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER, COVERING STORY: Nancy, even though Dalia Dippolito is accused of trying to have her husband Michael Dippolito killed she cannot get a divorce from him even though she`s facing criminal charges.

Now a judge ruled that he`s going to put the -- rather, the divorce proceedings on hold while prosecutors build their criminal case.

Michael Dippolito, the husband and would-be victim, actually is the person who asked for the delay. He was told by prosecutors that their evidence gathering was being hindered by the divorce case so he asked a judge to put a hold on everything and the judge will do that for now.

Now Dalia Dippolito allegedly gave a confidential informant $1200 to buy a gun. He was supposed to hire a hit-man with it which he told her he did. However, that would-be hit-man was really an undercover Boynton Beach Police officer.

Now she allegedly told the officer she would give him $3,000 on completion of the hit and she also told him that he was welcome to take any money that her husband had on him after he was shot and killed. She said he usually carried about $10,000 on his person.

Now police have also said that this is not the first time that Dalia Dippolito has tried to have her husband killed. She allegedly tried to hire hit-men on the street one time, but these people who said they were hit-men and agreed to do the hit apparently took off with her money.

Another time she allegedly spiked her husband`s tea with antifreeze which also didn`t work. He tasted it and spit it out. And although he felt sick for a couple of days, he apparently didn`t realize that that was an attempt on his life as police claim.

Now right now Dalia Dippolito is on a house arrest. She`s staying with her mother. She is still in the Boynton Beach area. She`s forced to wear an electronic monitor and there is a restraining order which keeps her away from her husband but although they are living in different places, she`s accused of trying to keep him -- have him killed.

They are going to stay married while the divorce is on hold as the criminal case proceeds, Nancy.

GRACE: Tonight, more of the stunning undercover surveillance video.

DIPPOLITO: Giving him, you know, what I mean, like whatever.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No, no.

DIPPOLITO: All right.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: All right.

DIPPOLITO: OK. Will you smile?

DIPPOLITO: What do I need to smile about? It`s not easy to smile about.

DIPPOLITO: (EXPLETIVE DELETED) up all this time.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No.

DIPPOLITO: You haven`t smiled in forever.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: (EXPLETIVE DELETED) I`ve been through divorces and problems, and I can`t believe I`m even doing this.

DIPPOLITO: And who the hell told you never to (EXPLETIVE DELETED) get married?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes. (EXPLETIVE DELETED) happens.

DIPPOLITO: I know. I know. (EXPLETIVE DELETED). I ended up in the same boat as you. You`re right, we are a lot alike.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: All right.

DIPPOLITO: So that`s it. So we`re not --

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Let`s stay in contact the next day or two. Let`s stay in contact the next day or two. Like don`t call me, don`t call. Like just --

DIPPOLITO: No, but you`re saying for sure by (EXPLETIVE DELETED) Wednesday, right?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It has to be by then.

DIPPOLITO: OK.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: So.

DIPPOLITO: All right. Good.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: All right?

DIPPOLITO: OK.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: God forgive me. All right.

DIPPOLITO: Talk to you later. Hello?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Hey, can you talk?

DIPPOLITO: Yes.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: All right. I got word. I`m giving you a call so I`m going to head down your way, all right? I`m going to need $3,000 up front. All right. And I`m going to need the key to your house. You heard me?

DIPPOLITO: Yes. Where are you?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: All right. I`m heading out from Miami and I`m going t be there in about an hour, all right?

DIPPOLITO: OK.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m going to meet you somewhere. We`ll go off 95 by your spot.

DIPPOLITO: OK.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You live off -- along Gateway, right?

DIPPOLITO: Yes.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: All right. I`ll call you when I get there by the Gateway.

DIPPOLITO: All right, bye.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And remember, $3,000 Key to the house. All right?

DIPPOLITO: All right. Bye.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Good.

DIPPOLITO: I`m going to give you a call. He`s like in about an hour. He`s like so we can go ahead and we can meet up. He`s like, but remember, he`s like I need the -- he`s like I need the three grand up front. Like he said it to me like twice. I`m like, all right, bye.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Well, you don`t have his phone number?

DIPPOLITO: Yes, I have the number from where he called from on caller ID, but I don`t know how to use 3-way on this phone.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Well, tell him since you know where I live, you`re not going to be running away. You know, obviously, I`m going to pay you, I mean.

DIPPOLITO: So, it`s like all this (EXPLETIVE DELETED) just being dropped on the phone. You don`t think that I should just met him and (EXPLETIVE DELETED) talk to him face or face or what I should do because that`s not --

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: (INAUDIBLE)

DIPPOLITO: All I`m saying is like what if in the end nothing gets done and now there`s a key (EXPLETIVE DELETED) floating to my house and I get robbed?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What?

DIPPOLITO: I said how do I know now like it`s going (EXPLETIVE DELETED) get done and like my (EXPLETIVE DELETED) house doesn`t get robbed instead? I don`t know.

(CROSSTALK)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: As much as you`re scared, he`s even more scared. He probably wants the key to you house to enter your house or something like, I don`t know.

DIPPOLITO: Yes, but why does he want the key to my (EXPLETIVE DELETED) house. I thought you said this (EXPLETIVE DELETED) wasn`t going to get personal?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It isn`t. I`m saying he probably wants to like, I don`t know.

DIPPOLITO: I can`t keep doing this anymore. You know how I feel about that. I`ve already been down that, through that (EXPLETIVE DELETED) road. I can`t just give and nothing gets done and not have the money anymore. You know that. You know I can up with (EXPLETIVE DELETED) 12. What the hell was that for then?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: That was for the weapon.

DIPPOLITO: So it`s like -- and then, you know, we came to the agreement, OK, after the fact, you know, whatever, like, what we said after the fact which is fine. I mean nobody like --

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m just doing you a favor and you`re putting me on the phone between all this and like (INAUDIBLE).

DIPPOLITO: OK. So now what?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: (INAUDIBLE)

DIPPOLITO: And how do I know, like I told you now I`m (EXPLETIVE DELETED) floating a key to my (EXPLETIVE DELETED) house. Like you know? There`s more (EXPLETIVE DELETED) than that like I have a (EXPLETIVE DELETED) alarm, you know? It`s like -- it`s (EXPLETIVE DELETED). I have motion detectors.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Well, explain that to him.

DIPPOLITO: Huh?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Explain that to him.

DIPPOLITO: I have motion detectors like it`s not just like I live in some (EXPLETIVE DELETED) basic house.

Anyway, all right, well, are you going to be like around here?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Honestly, like (INAUDIBLE)

DIPPOLITO: What?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You don`t want to call him and say (INAUDIBLE)

DIPPOLITO: I`m just going to talk to him, I guess, when I see him. I don`t like talk all of this (EXPLETIVE DELETED) over the phone. Like it`s already (EXPLETIVE DELETED) up.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Your phone is not hot wired because they would need (INAUDIBLE). They can`t (INAUDIBLE)

DIPPOLITO: What?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I said your phone is not tapped. They need a search warrant and whatever, you know?

DIPPOLITO: I don`t know. I`m just telling you I`m like, I don`t want to talk about this (EXPLETIVE DELETED). You know what I mean? Over the phone or whatever. Like this isn`t like how it`s supposed to roll.

UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: An alleged murder-for-hire plot. A lawsuit filed by husband Michael Dippolito claims the informant who tipped off cop to the scheme was actually Dalia Dippolito`s lover.

The report says the two met several times in a parking lot at a CVS and at a gas station. When the officer asked if she was sure she wanted it done, she replied, quote, "I`m not going to change my mind. I`m 5,000 percent sure I want it done."

Although they had evidence against her taken days earlier, Boynton Beach Police clued Michael in and staged a murder scene at the couple`s town home capturing the grieving wife and then minutes later flipping the script on her.

GRACE: Problem. The hit-man is a cop.

UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: In a lawsuit filed by the would-be victim husband Michael Dippolito claims he signed over ownership of his quarter of a million dollar town house. The same day an informant told cops Dalia Dippolito wanted her husband murdered.

(LAUGHTER)

DIPPOLITO: I invoke my right to remain silent.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Between now and when it`s done, you know, you`re not going to have an option to change your mind. Even if you change your mind --

DIPPOLITO: No, there`s no changing -- no. There`s no like, I`m determined already.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You definitely want to do this.

DIPPOLITO: I`m positive, like 5,000 percent sure.

GRACE: OK. She`s walking up. She`s got a call at the L.A. fitness center to come home immediately. OK, look at the other cops. This is what I like. They all know he`s not dead.

Oh, god. No. No.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Then he what, asked for three grand?

DIPPOLITO: What?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He asked for three grand. Did he ask for any more once it`s done?

DIPPOLITO: I didn`t ask him. That`s all he said to me, was I`m going to need three grand up front. So it`s like what the (EXPLETIVE DELETED)? You know what I mean, like he said to me, he`s like, I`m going to need three grand up front and he`s like and a key to your house.

Why do you need a (EXPLETIVE DELETED) key to my house? Like for that (EXPLETIVE DELETED), you know, what I mean? I`ll (EXPLETIVE DELETED) handle my won (EXPLETIVE DELETED).

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: (INAUDIBLE) security system house, though?

DIPPOLITO: All I`m saying to you is that how the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) do I know like you`re not just going to (EXPLETIVE DELETED) wait a week and rob my (EXPLETIVE DELETED) house.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It`s what they do for a living. I don`t think you need to worry.

DIPPOLITO: Right, but the reality is that like why are they asking me for money up front when like you told me it was 12, and then afterwards like it was going to (EXPLETIVE DELETED) --

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Well, (INAUDIBLE)

DIPPOLITO: Yes, but I don`t know -- you know what I mean? I can`t (EXPLETIVE DELETED) give that money. Like right now I`m holding on to like every (EXPLETIVE DELETED) dime I have in case this (EXPLETIVE DELETED) doesn`t (EXPLETIVE DELETED) fly.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You already wasted some of it so you might as well give him a thousand and then --

DIPPOLITO: But how do I know it`s going to go through? Like I want them to look at me (EXPLETIVE DELETED) face to face and tell me, OK, fine - -

(CROSSTALK)

DIPPOLITO: What?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Aren`t you going to meet him face to face?

DIPPOLITO: Yes. Yes, I`m going to meet him right now but I`m (EXPLETIVE DELETED) you know, until this (EXPLETIVE DELETED) gets cleared up. I`m not (EXPLETIVE DELETED) bringing anything with me.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Let me get off the phone so I can start getting dressed then.

DIPPOLITO: All right. OK.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: But even if you do have the three grand, hide like two of them on the side pocket or something. Don`t --

DIPPOLITO: I don`t have that with me. I don`t have it. I don`t (EXPLETIVE DELETED) sit there like with (EXPLETIVE DELETED) cash in my bag. And I can`t keep pulling (EXPLETIVE DELETED) from all these (EXPLETIVE DELETED) accounts. I can`t do it.

Like you don`t catch somebody off guard and say, hey, I need a couple thousand.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Don`t even waste your time. He`s not going to do it with no money down.

DIPPOLITO: You didn`t tell me that. You told me -- I`m going by what you told me.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I told you that was for guns. Look, I don`t want to talk about this over the phone. I`m just trying to help you (EXPLETIVE DELETED) getting me more involved.

DIPPOLITO: That`s fine. We`ll see what the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) happens when they call. Try to be down here in like 40 minutes, all right?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Which car are you taking?

DIPPOLITO: The Tahoe.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: All right. Then the worst thing comes to worst, you know, he`ll have to give you back the 1200 if he doesn`t accept the thousand down payment.

DIPPOLITO: All right. OK. Or just give me the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) that they were going to use. I (EXPLETIVE DELETED) paid for it, didn`t it?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You don`t want to do that.

DIPPOLITO: All right. All right, well, I don`t know. I`m going to have to, like, get my own men, like, with this whole project if they`re not going to do it for the one because I`m not going to -- I`m not going to do it. I can`t.

So I`m just going to call somebody or whatever that like I know and just getting my own.
