A.J. HAMMER, CO-HOST: Big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - it`s official.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SNOOKI "NICOLE" POLIZZI, REALITY TV STAR, "JERSEY SHORE": I look slutty.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Snooki is legally a pest. Brand-new charges today against the "Jersey Shore" star. But can someone really be legally charged for being a pest?

"Real Housewives" weight and body confessions. Bethenny Frankel`s revelations today about how she lost her post-baby weight so fast. But what did she mean when she said "eat nothing"?

Michaele Salahi`s confession`s today. Is the White House gatecrasher turned "Real Housewives" star anorexic or just plain skinny?

Jennifer Aniston`s hits and misses. A startling new report today about Jen`s movie career. The SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - does Jen need to reinvent herself?

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.

BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Hi, there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today, and so much has to do with reality train wrecks.

Weight confessions, plastic surgery confessions, and, of course, Snooki.

And with us today to sort it all out is somebody who knows all about dealing with train wreck personalities, Jerry Springer, who is now the host of GSN`s hit show, "Baggage."

HAMMER: And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that Snooki has got a lot more baggage today than I think she ever expected - legal baggage. Because Snooki has just been basically charged with being a pest - really. She`s legally charged with the crime of being annoying. I love it.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can now reveal that as wild as that sounds, when it comes to this "Jersey Shore" star, it seems that nothing is too bizarre.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over): For two seasons now, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi of MTV reality show, "Jersey Shore," has been terrorizing law-abiding citizens with her mouth.

POLIZZI: You know what, I look slutty, but I don`t give a (EXPLETIVE DELETED). I can wear whatever the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) I want.

HAMMER: Her fighting -

POLIZZI: Then this one girl is like charging me like a (EXPLETIVE DELETED) hippo.

HAMMER: And worst of all, her dancing.

POLIZZI: I`m ready to just blow this out of the water.

HAMMER: But finally, the justice system is stepping up today to act against this verbal menace to society.

POLIZZI: If you`re going to hand me a bottle (EXPLETIVE DELETED) SoCo, something just comes over me like I just go crazy.

HAMMER: The MTV reality star now faces a charge for the heinous crime of being annoying. Yes, Snooki wanted for being annoying. Who knew that was illegal?

JO PIAZZA, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST: It was really only a matter of time.

HAMMER: The annoying charge, and yes, seriously, that is an actual charge, stems from Snooki`s arrest last month during a drunken afternoon on the beach in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

PIAZZA: They were filming the third season of "The Jersey Shore" when Snooki was arrested for disorderly conduct.

HAMMER: Snooki was charged with both disorderly conduct and creating a public nuisance. But now, Seaside Heights prosecutors have just slapped on another charge.

JEAN CASAREZ, CORRESPONDENT, "IN SESSION" ON TRU TV: It`s a municipal ordinance. It`s called annoying people on a beach.

HAMMER: If Snooki is found guilty of being annoying, she could be fined but won`t face jail time. "In Session" correspondent, Jean Casarez told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT it`s the disorderly conduct charge Snooki should be worried about.

CASAREZ: Disorderly conduct - that is actually a misdemeanor. And a misdemeanor can allow her to be compelled to serve 30 days in jail. Now, that`s discretionary, and it`s a first time offender situation. But still, the judge could sentence her to go to jail.

HAMMER: But it is the annoying charge that today had headline writers` fists pumping with glee. "Snooki charged as a pest," blares the "New York Post." "Snooki charged with annoying people for real," reads "E! Online." "Snooki is criminally annoying," mocks "People.com."

PIAZZA: Just looking at her, you`re a little bit annoyed.

HAMMER: Snooki has just pleaded not guilty to all charges, including, of course, the annoying charge. And we must point out, Snooki is considered innocent of being annoying until proven guilty of it in a court of law, which could happen at her trial which is set for September 8.

PIAZZA: This is going to the trial of the century. I feel like she`s going to walk into this courtroom and the judge is going to be like, "Just throw this girl in the slammer. Look at her, she`s annoying the crap out of me right now." How does she go into this courtroom and prove that she`s not annoying?

HAMMER: But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is wondering, is it constitutional to prosecute someone for the crime of being annoying?

PIAZZA: I think that there is a God-given right to be annoying.

HAMMER: Maybe it`s covered under the "pursuit of happiness" part. And then there is a larger question. If Snooki can be prosecuted for being annoying, what`s to stop authorities from going after other celebrities for the same crime?

Could the White House gate-crashing Salahis be next? Could Heidi Montag be wanted by the police? Could the Lohan family get a group-rate on attorneys who specialize in annoying law?

PIAZZA: Kate Gosselin should watch her back.

HAMMER: So Snooki`s annoying charge may come down to one simple question - do we want to live in a country where Snooki, or any other reality TV show star, can face charges just for being annoying? OK, that`s a tough one.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

Yesterday, on this show, I suggested that Snooki be charged with a crime against humanity or something like that. But I guess the whole legal pest charge is going to have to do. I`m not disappointed.

Right now in New York, Sunny Hostin from "In Session" on our sister network, Tru TV. In Hollywood, the great Jerry Springer. He, of course, is the host of his long-running syndicated talk show. And Jerry also hosts "Baggage," a great show on GSN.

So this "Jersey Shore" prosecutor just added this obscure yet delightful charge of annoying others on the beach to Snooki`s rap sheet.

All right. Now, Sunny, you are our attorney on retainer today. What do you think? Is this just piling on an unfair to the Snookster? Or are you with me that it`s completely appropriate?

SUNNY HOST, LEGAL CONTRIBUTOR, "IN SESSION": I`m with you. I`m totally with you. I think it`s completely appropriate. I mean, this is a beach town, and so they do have a law on the book that`s a municipal ordinance and it`s for people that are annoying others on the beach.

It could affect that town`s, you know, ability to attract tourists. I think it`s perfectly appropriate and I say, hey, anyone that wants to be annoying on the beach, you`d better watch out right now.

HAMMER: It is just funny because I think, myself included, everybody watching this right now thinks, "I didn`t know you could be charged with that." But there you go, and what an appropriate choice to be charged with it.

HOSTIN: Yes.

HAMMER: All right. Let me move on to the mind-blowing new Lindsay Lohan news today. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you Lindsay`s lawyers - they`re headed to court next week and they`re going to possibly going to work on a deal to spring Lindsay from rehab a lot earlier than her court-ordered 90 days. I think that`s a terrible idea.

But there`s a report she could get as much as $1 million for the first post-jail, post-rehab interview. So we ask in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll and let`s take a look at it - "Lindsay Lohan`s $1 Million Interview Offer: Does she deserve it?"

Late today, we got the results. Let`s put them up. Look at that. 55 percent say yes. 45 percent say no. Pretty even split there, Jerry. Our viewers are thinking, yes, maybe that`s not such a bad thing. But for me - as much as this may be capitalism at work, Jerry Springer, to me it sends a terrible message and rewards Lindsay for her bad behavior. Do you think she deserves this payday?

JERRY SPRINGER, HOST, "BAGGAGE": Well, sure, because we enabled her. I mean, the fact of the matter is we are all making money out of what`s going on in her life. I mean, we send cameras to the courtroom. We watch her cry as she`s being hauled off to jail and everything like that.

So you know, we made a business out of this. So at some point, if we`re all going to make money on what happened to Lindsay Lohan, you can`t be surprised if, at some point, someone`s going to offer her money for an interview.

HAMMER: Yes.

SPRINGER: I mean, the whole thing is stupid. We should probably just stop covering her.

HAMMER: Well, that`s another side, too, but that`s really a great perspective, Jerry. And as I said yesterday, I really think if she does get that kind of money, wow, what a bold move if she donated it to charity.

All right. With a possible huge payday, getting out of rehab early, Lindsay has our "Showbiz on Call" phone lines ringing nonstop. Now, I want to play a call for you here. You have to hear what Cass from Washington dialed us up to say about the possibility of Lilo cashing in.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

CASS, CALLER FROM WASHINGTON: $1 million? Whatever happened to not profiting from your crime? When she has 30 years sobriety and she`s been in a sober living house and she`s been in A.A., then maybe she can profit, but not now. I mean, that`s rewarding bad behavior. As it is, it`s an atrocity that she won`t serve her full term.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Cass, thanks for your call. There`s another Lohan family shocker today. Brooke, Lindsay`s father, Michael, has his own explosive new drama that he`s dealing with today, doesn`t he?

ANDERSON: Yes, he does, A.J. Michael Lohan is this close to completely getting off the hook for allegedly attacking his ex-fiancee, Kate Major.

We just learned that the judge dismissed the charges after Kate asked the judge to do so. A restraining order against him has been lifted and the judge said that Michael needs to stay out of trouble.

Sunny, very quickly here. Seems to you - seems to me he`s out of the woods. Does that seem that way to you as well?

HOSTIN: It does. I mean, it`s clear that she did not want to press charges against him. She didn`t want to testify against him. But I say shame - shame on Michael Lohan because you don`t go around beating up on people. You don`t go around beating up on women, and getting away with it.

ANDERSON: These are allegations and he was never convicted of any charges.

HOSTIN: True.

ANDERSON: I just want to make that clear. OK. But Michael Lohan`s court battle with Kate Major - that might be over.

But that doesn`t mean the fireworks are done because Kate blasted Michael today in a new interview with Nick Cannon on his radio show. And she slams Michael for those nude pictures of her that popped up on the Internet. Listen.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

NICK CANNON, RADIO TALK SHOW HOST: Are you sure that Michael Lohan is the one that put these pictures out of you?

KATE MAJOR, MICHAEL LOHAN`S EX-FIANCEE: I know 110 percent for a fact that he is the one because I know people that have told me that they were contacted from him to try to get money. It`s disgusting. He really, really is the scum of the earth, and I just want nothing to do with him.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

ANDERSON: OK. Michael Lohan has denied putting those pictures out there. I`ve got to say I`ve got sympathy for all these characters. I just want them to be happy and healthy, and that doesn`t seem to be easy for any of them.

Sunny Hostin, thank you so much. And be sure to catch Jerry Springer on the second season of his new show "Baggage" on GSN.

HAMMER: We`ve got to move on now to the startling new reports today about Jennifer Aniston`s movie career. Obviously, she`s had some major hits. But there are some undeniable misses as well. The SHOWBIZ Flashpoint today - does Jen need to totally reinvent herself?

"Real Housewives of New York" star Bethenny Frankel reveals an incredible bombshell today about her post-baby body. She lost a ton of weight. She says she did by eating nothing.

So who should Sandra Bullock date? Her cheating ex is reportedly dating tattooed reality star, Kat Von D. But today, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is playing matchmaker for Sandra. It`s the great dating debate today. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: IRS files $63,000 lien against supermodel Naomi Campbell. "America`s Got Talent" star Jackie Evancho`s album making splash on Billboard charts.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

ANDERSON: A.J., there is big news breaking in "The Buzz" today - Britney`s "Glee." Brand-new pictures today of Britney Spears from the set of "Glee." Hey, Bret Michael`s big lawsuit. Well, the rocker is suing for millions. Does he have a case? And a scary star Internet search warning today - look for Cameron, Jessica or Julia online only if you dare.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: Star danger. Warning - warning. Cameron Diaz, Julia Roberts, Jessica Biel. A Web security company has just warned, you`d better be careful when searching for them online. McAfee has just released its annual list of star names that cyber-criminals use to lure you to Web sites that can infect your computer with a virus. The number one - don`t go there - Cameron Diaz. Search her name and there is a 10 percent chance of your computer getting infected.

Bret`s big lawsuit. Bret Michaels has just sued a concert promoter for $5 million. Michaels claims he showed up to perform in Syracuse, New York on August 5th, but found the place completely dark.

The promoter claims that Michaels was also scheduled to appear on "America`s Got Talent" at the same time so the concert date was canceled. It turns out Michaels has taped the TV appearance before the scheduled concert.

Britney`s "Glee." Britney Spears has just begun shooting an episode of "Glee" devoted totally to her. And she has just hit Twitter to unleash the love with a picture of her onset.

Brits tweeted away, "What`s up, Gleeks? Having so much fun on set!" The show`s co-creator, Ryan Murphy, based a whole episode on Spears because he believes Britney might be as big or bigger than Lady Gaga, saying, "She is arguably the most important female, other than Lady Gaga, of the last 10 years."

So what "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy has to say about Britney Spears leads us to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - next to Lady Gaga, is Britney the most important female singer of the last 10 years?

Right now, in New York, is Ereka Vetrini. She`s the senior editor for "In Touch Weekly." Ereka, there is no doubt that when Britney Spears burst onto the scene - I`ll never forget it - age 17 with "Hit Me, Baby, One More Time," she changed the game forever.

But we can`t forget all that happened because of her head-shaving, all the paparazzi, the psych war drama. So Ereka, to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, next to Gaga, is Britney one of the most important female singers of the last 10 years, if not the most important?

EREKA VETRINI, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": I`m going to say yes, and this is why. I`m going to say that Britney is probably not the most talented vocal artist out there. But her music is memorable and it really resonated with so many people.

And the fact that I think that you can say "Britney" and we know exactly who you`re talking to says something about that. I mean, her music - everyone loves her. And I think in our heart, we`re still hoping she comes back big.

ANDERSON: And you say "Britney," not just in the U.S. but around the world -

VETRINI: Around the world -

ANDERSON: And everybody knows who you`re talking about. She`s always going to have a place in pop music history, no doubt.

OK. Ereka, I`ve got to move now to all the commotion about "American Idol." There are reports everywhere today that Aerosmith`s Steven Tyler will become a judge on the show next season, plugging one of the holes left by Simon Cowell or Ellen DeGeneres.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT reached out to fox. All we got was a big fat "no comment." Ereka, if true, though, I think this is a pretty good move for "American Idol." What do you think?

VETRINI: OK. This is how I feel. I love his music. I absolutely love him. But I`ve never really been very interested to what he had to say in interviews.

However, the way that I think about it is that I once knew a guy in high school who was a fantastic athlete, and he wasn`t very dynamic, not much of a conversationalist.

But when he talked about his sport, something he was passionate about, he was brilliant. So here, I feel like having a real pop - I mean, a real rock star on "American Idol," something we haven`t had before, will really be memorable.

And I think that we`ll really appreciate what he has to say. And I think he`ll be more dynamic than he has been in the past.

ANDERSON: And I think he`s pretty dynamic, though, in conversation. I`ve met him. He`s warm. He`s funny. You know, he`s a nice guy.

But hey, if you had your pick, your first pick, Ereka, very quickly, who would you choose to sit at that table?

VETRINI: I think the only one I would want there would be Madonna, and the old, edgy, opinionated Madonna, you know. Not the kind of polished one we`ve seen these days. But I`d like to see her in that form again.

ANDERSON: Maybe Madonna from the `80s.

VETRINI: Exactly.

ANDERSON: Ereka Vetrini, thank you so much.

HAMMER: Stealing from the stars. Cher, Anne Hathaway - they were all A-list clients at a posh Beverly Hills spa. And today, the feds say the spa owner stole thousands from them and others.

"Real Housewives" real shocking body and weight confessions. The White House gatecrasher and "Real Housewives of D.C." star Michaele Salahi stunning weight confession today. Is she anorexic or just skinny?

Bethenny Frankel`s body bombshell. She says she dropped her post- baby weight so fast by eating nothing. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Sherri Shepherd named new host of GSN`s "The Newlywed Game." Katie Holmes and her "The Romantics" co-star pose for new J. Crew ad campaign.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Did you see this? Kim Kardashian`s sexy new sneak peek. Kim K. just posted this picture from upcoming 2011 calendar on her Twitter page. But look fast, because if you want to see more of what Kim will look like next year, you`re going to have to wait until next year.

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star just tweeted this, "New Twitter background. It`s a sneak peek from an upcoming calendar shoot. It will be up only for one night."

HAMMER: Oh, that Kim is such a (UNINTELLIGIBLE). Stealing from the stars. Making news today, a Beverly Hills spa owner to the stars faces federal charges today for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from some of Hollywood`s biggest celebrities.

In fact, Cher calls Chez Gabriela spa owner, Gabriela Perez, the Michelangelo of skin care. But federal authorities today are calling Perez a crook. Perez is accused of running up fraudulent charges on her A-list clients` credit cards including Cher, Melanie Griffith and Anne Hathaway.

Jennifer Aniston used to attend this now-infamous spa. And today, on "Good Morning America," Aniston said she knew something was up.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JENNIFER ANISTON, ACTRESS: We had a situation that wasn`t cool, so I sort of just stopped going to her, paid the money and left. But it was - I knew that something like this would eventually happen because, you know, there is no way you can get away with that.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Well, bogus charges were also allegedly charged to Liv Tyler`s credit card to the tune of over $200,000. Gabriela Perez` lawyer insists that she`s innocent.

And there is more big breaking Jennifer Aniston news today. A shocking report just out about her movies. Her hits, her misses. Does Jen need a total career makeover? It`s the SHOWBIZ flashpoint, coming up.

There is brand new reaction today on the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook wall about Lindsay Lohan. There is a reported $1 million deal on the table for Lindsay to tell all about her jail and rehab experience.

But Linda S. says that Lindsay shouldn`t get a dime, "Getting $1 million from her little stint in jail is sickening. Who says crime doesn`t pay?"

But Becky T. thinks that Lindsay deserves the money, "If talking about her jail experience will help others stay out of trouble, then why not?"

HAMMER: big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Jennifer Aniston`s hits and misses. A startling new report today about Jen`s movies. The SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - does she need to totally reinvent herself?

Bethenny`s bombshell body confession. "Real Housewives of New York" star, Bethany Frankel, loses a ton of baby weight really fast. Why she`s telling women to eat nothing.

Who should Sandra date? Jesse James is reportedly dating tattooed reality star, Kat Von D. So who should his ex, Sandra Bullock, hook up with? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT playing matchmaker.

Plus, breaking today from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp take a trip together. And the surprise host of this year`s MTV Video Music Awards.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - Jen`s hits and misses.

HAMMER: Yes. Brooke, in an explosive new report out today, "The Hollywood Reporter" says that after 10 years of making movies, Jennifer Aniston has not proven her films can consistently make big money.

We know that Aniston is well-known for her high-quality chick flick romance romances. But does "The Hollywood Reporter" breakdown prove it is time for Aniston to switch things up?

That brings us to the SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - does Jennifer Aniston need to reinvent herself?

With me, in New York, Noelle Nikpour, who is a columnist for "South Florida Sun Sentinel." And right now, in Hollywood, Jerry Springer. Jerry is the host of GSN`s hit show "Baggage." And he also the host in his incredible 20th season - unbelievable, Jerry - of "The Jerry Springer Show."

SPRINGER: I`m sorry.

HAMMER: So "The Hollywood Reporter" says that Jen`s next movie is just one of so many romantic comedies that have been, you know, hit or miss.

You know the formula - likable woman seeking love, a romance blossoms, et cetera, et cetera. All right. Jerry Springer, to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - what do you think? Does Jennifer Aniston need to reinvent herself?

SPRINGER: No, I don`t. I think why - you know, that`s how America loves her. We loved her on "Friends." We see what we read on magazines that her personality is much like she played on "Friends." She`s in these movies.

So they`re not blockbuster hits - big deal. Unless she wants to try something new, I just think people are going to continue to go and see her in these movies. We love her in that role. And I don`t see what the problem is.

HAMMER: Well, some will make money, some won`t, but they keep hiring for them. So "Hollywood Reporter," by the way, I should point out - they didn`t include "Bruce Almighty" in their analysis of Jen`s movies.

That was a huge hit. I`m talking a whopping $242 million. They did include a lot of her smaller indy films. That said, Noelle, to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, does Jennifer Aniston need to totally reinvent herself?

NOELLE NIKPOUR, COLUMNIST, "SOUTH FLORIDA SUN SENTINEL": No, not at all. She`s America`s sweetheart. She is the real girl next door that you can relate to. What do people want? They don`t want to see her in a slasher film. They don`t want to see her in some serial killer deal.

They want to see her as a (UNINTELLIGIBLE) comedy girl, someone that has fun romances and, you know, boy gets girl. That`s what they like about Jennifer Aniston.

HAMMER: So even if the movies - some of them are making a whole lot of money, that`s OK. Let her keep doing it.

NIKPOUR: Yes, they will. Just like every celebrity, you have hits and misses. Not everything that you do is a total hit.

HAMMER: Yes. That`s the point I can`t disagree with you on at all.

NIKPOUR: Right.

HAMMER: Well, Aniston was on "Regis and Kelly" today. Regis just had to get Jen`s take on all this. He did ask her pointblank, why doesn`t she mix it up a little? Watch what she said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

REGIS PHILBIN, HOST, "LIVE WITH REGIS AND KELLY": What are you going to play next? You`ve got to put clips. Once in a while, you should play a bad girl, you know, a real bad girl.

ANISTON: Well, I actually just played a pretty crazy person. With this one called "Horrible Bosses," yes, I`m a dentist who is kind of sexually deviant.

PHILBIN: No kidding. Sexually deviant.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: That had to be so fun for you because everybody - I don`t know specifically if that`s one of your dreams in life, but everybody`s -

ANISTON: It`s always my dream to put people under nitrous and just have my way with them.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I love it. You know, a naughty dentist - I think that`s terrific. I`m happy to hear that Jen is going for something different. But Jerry, since you say that Jen should probably just stay the course, what do you think? Is it making a big mistake here if she is playing against type, or do you applaud her for that as well?

SPRINGER: She ought to do what she wants to do. I think America is going to love her anyway. And I mean, her personality comes through in whatever she plays.

You know, if she plays a different kind of role and, all of a sudden, it`s a great movie, good for her. But she doesn`t need to do it. You know, sometimes you can be so iconic in the culture that people refuse to see you in any different role. And that sometimes happens. She may be a victim of her own success, of her own fame.

HAMMER: Sure.

SPRINGER: We so think we know her that we can`t imagine her doing anything else.

HAMMER: Now, that`s a really good point. And Aniston, by the way, is standing up for herself in what I think is a really good way. She got very heated today with her feud with Bill O`Reilly.

Now, O`Reilly blasted her for saying women don`t need men to have babies. Well, today, she blasted O`Reilly right back when she was talking to George Stephanopoulos on "Good Morning America." Take a look at this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ANISTON: I never actually thought that name and that name would ever be in one sentence, I must say.

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS, CO-HOST, "GOOD MORNING AMERICA": And this was a - basically, he`s saying you`re glorifying single motherhood.

ANISTON: I was actually glorifying 12-year-olds going out there and getting knocked up and doing it by themselves, because that`s what I like to preach.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Noelle, here`s the thing. We usually don`t hear Jennifer Aniston responding to things that people about her. That`s her M.O. Why do you think this got so under her skin and she was lashing out like this?

NIKPOUR: Oh, I think because of the following that Bill O`Reilly has on Fox. I mean, let`s face it. He`s got a big following. And I think she wanted to set the record straight. Let`s face it. I think she kind of zinged him. That was a zing fact of Bill O`Reilly.

HAMMER: And she definitely had fun doing it. There is another brand new Aniston controversy that has caused absolute outrage. I`m pretty surprised by this.

Today, on "Regis and Kelly," when she was discussing her iconic photo shoot as Barbra Streisand, Jennifer Aniston used a word that a lot of people - probably most people - think she shouldn`t have. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Basically, you just did it. You just copied.

PHILBIN: That is one of her classic poses and that is Jennifer Aniston.

ANISTON: All these fun wigs and, you know, that`s "Funny Girl." It was just fun.

PHILBIN: You`re playing dress-up.

ANISTON: I play dress up. I do it for a living, like a retard.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. You heard what she said at the end there. And her comments, understandably, have upset a lot of people. Brooke Anderson, what are saying specifically?

ANDERSON: A.J., the Special Olympics tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, quote, "Special Olympics is always disappointed when the R-word is used, especially by someone who is influential to society. Pervasive use of the R-word, even in an off-the-cuff, self-deprecating manner, dehumanizes people with intellectual disabilities. We hope everyone will take our pledge to stop using the R-word at www.RWord.org."

Jerry, I don`t think it was Jennifer Aniston`s intent to be malicious in any way. I think she probably just didn`t choose her words carefully. Do you think she has anything to apologize, though, for?

SPRINGER: Well, I don`t know. Obviously, she didn`t do anything to - she didn`t say anything to try to hurt anybody. It probably was not a wise use of that word. It shouldn`t be used.

But I think what will happen, which is positive, is because of the publicity given to this now, there will be discussions at the dinner table tonight that parents will have with their children and saying, "See, you shouldn`t use that word."

ANDERSON: Yes, be sensitive.

SPRINGER: Because it is degrading.

ANDERSON: Yes.

SPRINGER: So I think we probably all learned something about it. But you know, it`s hard to beat her up for saying - you know, she had a slip of the tongue. It was the wrong word to use.

ANDERSON: Yes, and I`m sure she`s learned from it. OK. I want to move now to another explosive story today. The Sandra Bullock-Jesse James drama rages on today as tattoo artist and star of TLC`s "L.A. Ink," Kat Von D., speaks out about reports that she and Jesse James are an item. Listen.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

KAT VON D., REALITY TV STAR, "L.A. INK": I`ve known Jesse since I was 22, actually.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, wow.

KAT VON D.: Yes. And we`ve always been friends, you know, even when all that negative stuff went down. You know, I stay out of all that drama. It was funny, I was on Twitter the other day and I try to respond to, like, kids and fans and people on there all the time.

And this one girl goes, you know, "Are you with Jesse James? I think we`re entitled to know since you`re, you know, putting yourself out there." And then, I go, "Actually, no. I think that you`re not entitled to know because that`s a false sense of entitlement, you know."

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes. No kidding.

KAT VON D.: I know. I mean, just because I`m on TV doesn`t mean I need to report to people.

ANDERSON: OK. So since we`re talking about dating here, the big question today is, who should Sandra Bullock date? Because I think she deserves the best guy in the world. We`re looking for her to team up with a great guy, maybe become Hollywood`s next big power couple.

So let`s play matchmaker here. Should she start dating George Clooney? I know he`s dating an Italian supermodel. But they`re both so down to earth. It could be a good match.

What about Jimmy Kimmel? He`s the Hollywood every-guy. They would make each other laugh. How about Jake Gyllenhaal? Cute, available. And my favorite suggestion - the Old Spice guy because, well, he`s the Old Spice guy. Noelle, very quickly, what do you think?

NIKPOUR: Oh, my goodness, the Old Spice guy. No, you forgot about Justin Bieber. What about Baby Bieber? He`s my favorite.

ANDERSON: How could I forget?

NIKPOUR: I love George Clooney.

ANDERSON: I do, too, as well. OK. Nicole Nikpour and Jerry Springer, thank you both. And you can check out Jerry`s new show, "Baggage" on GSN every week night.

All right. Now, we want to hear from you in our exclusive SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll, "Jennifer Aniston: Does she need to reinvent herself?" What do you think? Vote at CNN.com/ShowbizTonight. E-mail us, showbiztonight@cnn.com.

Is "The Real Housewives of D.C." star, one of the White House gatecrashers, anorexic? Michaela Salahi`s unbelievable confession today about her body and plastic surgery.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MICHAELE SALAHI, REALITY TV STAR, "REAL HOUSEWIVES OF D.C.": At the funeral, that I have an eating disorder. That`s ridiculous.

BETHENNY FRANKEL, REALITY TV STAR, "REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW YORK CITY": I`ll take two of those. Sauteed mushroom medley, please? Salmon salad, too. I`m going to keep a menu.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Would you like your rolls to come out at the beginning of the meal? Or shall I (UNINTELLIGIBLE)?

FRANKEL: Whatever works. Food is porn.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Bethenny Frankel is singing a different tune today about food after revealing her big post-baby weight loss secret. She says eat nothing. But what the heck does she mean about that? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the Bethenny weight loss secrets that are stirring up big time controversy today.

And welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

So forget "Eat, Pray, Love" for a moment. Try eat, taste nothing. And Brooke Bethenny Frankel`s weight loss mantra could be putting some real housewives under pressure today.

ANDERSON: Yes, A.J. Eat nothing, says the star of "Bethenny Getting Married?" Bethenny`s lost her baby weight in record time. And she is showing off her new and improved bikini body just to prove it. But what the heck did she mean when she said she did it by eating nothing?

Right now, in New York, Ereka Vetrini, who is the senior editor for "In Touch Weekly." Also right now, in New York, Jen Hobby, who is the top radio co-host on "The Bert Show."

OK, ladies. I want to take a look at the stunning new photos of Bethenny Frankel just out today. It`s in a new issue of "Life and Style Weekly." She`s looking great, showing of her bikini bod. She says she`s lost 33 pounds of baby weight using this mantra: "Taste everything, eat nothing."

Ereka, you and I recently both had babies. I know for me it was really hard to take off the weight, and I did it in a healthy way. So mom to mom, do you have a problem with Bethenny here saying, "Eat nothing to lose that weight"?

VETRINI: OK. I`m going to - I don`t mean to criticize here. But I actually understand where she`s coming from. I didn`t have that hard of a time losing the weight because I kept the same routine I had before pregnancy, during pregnancy and after pregnancy.

I mean, really, what I think she`s saying here, the taste - it`s her way of saying - "taste everything, eat nothing" is her way of saying, "Ladies, look out for your portion control."

If you read some of her books, you`d understand she`s big about, you know, not overindulging and really eating what`s right for you and eating the right amounts of what`s right for you. So I`m on her side with this one. It is her business. It is what she does. I think she looked great. She ate well and she looked healthy throughout her pregnancy. And she still looks great.

ANDERSON: But "eat nothing" doesn`t signify to me that she ate well. And Ereka, I have friends like you. They dropped that weight naturally and it just melted right off. You are a lucky, lucky girl. Jen -

VETRINI: No, I`m not. I worked hard for it. I worked. I did.

ANDERSON: OK. Jen, I want to throw it to you. Is there anything wrong with what Bethenny is saying here? Or should she be careful considering that she was criticized for losing most of that weight three weeks - I`ll say it again - three weeks after she gave birth in May? That`s quick.

JEN HOBBY, CO-HOST, "THE BERT SHOW": I think she does have to be very careful about what she has to say because people follow her. They love her show. And typically, I really like her on the show.

She`s easy to identify with. But to me, saying "eat nothing" sends the wrong message to mothers. I mean, when you`re a mom. Your most important job is to just focus on your child.

If you`re eating nothing, you`re not going to be thinking clearly. You`re not going to be healthy and you`re not going to be able to pay attention to your child, which is your most important job. I think it sends a really wrong message to moms out there.

ANDERSON: But, yes. Food and healthy food was really important for me to keep that energy up because you`re sleep-deprived. You`re going to take care of that baby.

OK. I think it sends a destructive message. I do, but I can tell you that Bethenny Frankel is not the only real housewife in a weight controversy today. A.J., what`s going on with Michaele Salahi.

HAMMER: Well, Brooke, the infamous White House gatecrasher who is also one of the stars of "The Real Housewives of D.C." - she`s defending herself today after her co-star called her "too skinny." Take a look at this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I had mentioned to Hal Warner(ph) earlier that she was looking a little skinny.

M. SALAHI: That`s an insult to say I have an eating disorder. That`s ridiculous.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She said to me, "I`m going to see Michaele tomorrow." I said, "Great. While you`re at it, eat a burger and fries." Do you have a problem with that? I`m sorry.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Well, today, Salahi is fighting back. She posed for these bikini pictures. Can we put those up, Charles? This is from the new issue of "In Touch Weekly." She says she`s not anorexic. She`s always been skinny. Ereka, to you - she looks healthy to me. Do you think she looks too skinny?

VETRINI: Well, I don`t know. She does look healthy in that photo. In an interview with "In Touch Weekly," she talked about her daily diet which consisted of virtually nothing.

In the morning, she says she has hot chocolate, a little bit of cereal and some fruits, eats nothing all day and has a salad with broiled chicken on it. That doesn`t seem enough to sustain exercise and energy and all the running around she does in a day.

So I don`t know if she`s anorexic, but I think maybe she`s, you know, may be getting a little too caught up in this world.

HAMMER: Yes.

VETRINI: And maybe, it`s just - that`s why the pounds are coming off so much. I don`t know.

HAMMER: She also posted a brand-new blog on "BravoTV.com" where she says this about body image, "Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes and shines from within. My belief is to celebrate one another and empower women."

Shine from within - yet, she is also saying that she wants new boobs in this "In Touch Weekly" article. We do have to end it there. Ereka Vetrini, Jen Hobby, thanks, guys.

It has certainly been a day of incredible train wrecks. "Real Housewives" drama. You`ve got Snooki drama, Lindsay Lohan drama. But who is the biggest train wreck of them all? Jerry Springer joins us with his picks, next.

ANDERSON: Making news today, the married man "American Idol" star, Fantasia Barrino, allegedly had an affair with says don`t blame Fantasia.

Antwaun Cook`s lawyer just released this statement, "Antwaun would be remiss not to address the criticism and judgment that he has received. He knew Fantasia Barrino, but the failure of his marriage can, in no way, be blamed on anyone except the two people that were a part of the union, Paula and Antwaun."

"Paula and Antwaun expected their marriage to stand the test of time. Unfortunately, like many marriages, it did not turn out as planned. In late summer 2009, after years of discussion, the party separated with the intention of no longer being married."

Fantasia has said that she dated Antwaun but that he had split with this wife. Soon after the alleged affair scandal broke, Fantasia overdosed on medication.

It is time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Chelsea Handler to host MTV Music Video Awards on September 12th. Third season of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" returns to Bravo on October 4th.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: It is time for some deep SHOWBIZ thoughts with Jerry Springer. Back with me right now in Hollywood - hey, Jerry, you have seen train wreck after train wreck after train wreck over the years.

We talked about some of the biggest ones today including Snooki, a couple of the real housewives, even the Lohans. Who, in your opinion, is the biggest train wreck?

SPRINGER: Well, I would say that Lindsay Lohan is maybe not the biggest train wreck but it`s the most significant problem, in other words. Because with the other ones, if you talk about what Sandra Bullock had to go through, it`s a momentary event. It may hurt, but it`s momentary.

With Lindsay Lohan, you`ve got to hope that she can get her life together because she`s in real danger if she doesn`t. So I guess that`s the one I would really concentrate on.

She`s - you know, her parents, to be honest, don`t seem to have done the greatest job in the world. They always, you know - they`ve got to turn off the cameras. They`ve got to live a private life for a while without trying to always get publicity. Just stay away from the cameras, get your life together and save her life.

ANDERSON: Great advice. Great advice, Jerry. And you know, I want to ask you about something else today, because you were right there for the absolutely brutal roast of David Hasselhoff on "Comedy Central" that just aired.

SPRINGER: Yes.

ANDERSON: Do you think David deserved what he got?

SPRINGER: No. No. Believe me, that roast - it was - there were parts of it that were downright filthy. And I don`t think they showed them. I mean, if you were there, it was like oh, my - and this is me talking.

And I thought I had heard it all. That was pretty rough. No, I don`t think anyone deserves to be roasted like that. But parts of it were very funny.

ANDERSON: I cannot even imagine how bad it actually got judging from what I saw. So I can`t even imagine what it was that about -

SPRINGER: But David didn`t deserve that. I mean, some jokes, yes. But it was fun. Everyone was (UNINTELLIGIBLE) at that time.

ANDERSON: Yes. He was a good sport about it.

SPRINGER: He was a very good sport about it.

ANDERSON: All right. So now you`re hosting this great show called "Baggage" on GSN.

SPRINGER: Yes.

ANDERSON: Let`s go back to Michael Lohan for a second. How do you think that Michael Lohan and his ex-fiancee, Kate Major, would fare on your show?

SPRINGER: Well, not very well, because the idea of the show is you come on the show looking for a date. And you have three people to choose from, but they were one of the three to be chosen from.

Well, when they come on, they have to show what that baggage is. If you knew that baggage ahead of time, you would probably choose somebody else. So you know, that`s not -

ANDERSON: Too much baggage?

SPRINGER: Yes. I don`t think celebrities can go on my show, "Baggage," because everyone will know what it is and they`ll stay away from them to begin with.

ANDERSON: Oh, brother. All right. Too much baggage, you are eliminated. OK. Congratulations. "The Jerry Springer Show" now approaching its 20th season on the air. Jerry Springer, it is always great to have you here. Thank you so much.

SPRINGER: Thanks for having me. You, guys, are great.

ANDERSON: And his hit show, "Baggage," airs weeknights on GSN.

HAMMER: We love Jerry Springer. And congratulations again, Jerry - 20 years, amazing. That is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. We thank you for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is now live at 5:0 p.m. Eastern, Monday through Friday.

HAMMER: And don`t forget, we are still TV`s most provocative entertainment news show seven days a week. That`s at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific. And of course, that`s right here on HLN.
