A.J. HAMMER, CO-HOST: Big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - Rimes and reasons. Today, LeAnn Rimes` very first TV interview about cheating on her husband with a married man. Does she have any regrets?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LEANN RIMES, SINGER: It happens every day to so many people.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: The SHOWBIZ Flashpoint today - is it time to forgive LeAnn?

BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: A startling Oprah-Michael Jackson controversy. Anger today over Oprah`s interview with Michael`s kids because of a child molestation connection.

HAMMER: Kanye`s sorry again. Kanye West`s incredible apology today to George Bush for accusing him of being a racist.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KANYE WEST, SINGER: George Bush doesn`t care about black people.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: And here we go again. Taylor swift gets dragged into this.

ANDERSON: Bristol`s big oops. What Bristol Palin forgot to do that Mama Sarah can`t possibly be happy about. Is Bristol in big trouble?

HAMMER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.

ANDERSON: Hi, there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. And there`s big news breaking today - big star marriage meltdown.

HAMMER: And we begin today with Rimes and reasons. For the very first time, LeAnn Rimes looked straight into a television camera and gave her reasons for cheating on her husband with a married man, her co-star.

Yes, LeAnn has defended what she did before, but SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you never like this, not on national television and never in such detail. She is saying today that it all comes down to love. So what`s love got to do with it?

ANDERSON: With us right now, from New York, Lauren Lake, who is an attorney and author of the fine book, "Girl, Let Me Tell You." And with me now in Hollywood, Carlos Diaz, who is a syndicated radio host.

OK. Lauren, Carlos, LeAnn`s first big TV interview was with ABC`s Robin Roberts. And I`ve got to say LeAnn did not duck the tough question about why she and Eddie Cibrian hooked up when they were both still married. LeAnn says it`s no different than anybody else out there who has gone through the same thing. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RIMES: This happens every day to so many people. And if I take away my album sales, my words, you have just another couple. You have two couples whose marriages didn`t work who really stumbled upon each other and fell in love. And never, ever was I thinking of hurting someone.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: People do, do it every day. She`s right. But that does not make it OK. They made a conscious choice that caused a whole lot of people pain. Lauren, she`s saying she just stumbled into love, just stumbled right into it. She couldn`t help herself. So should we cut her some slack?

LAUREN LAKE, ATTORNEY AND AUTHOR: Well, at the end of the day, unfortunately, the girl is right, it does happen all the time. And it doesn`t make it right and it destroys lives and it hurts other people. But at the same time, you know, let us not be the first to cast a stone when it`s going on all of the time.

Unfortunately the timing of it, the fact that they maybe couldn`t hold off and end their marriages first before they got into a relationship -

ANDERSON: Right.

LAKE: Is unfortunate, and for that, she must take the heat.

ANDERSON: Yes, really poor timing. Well, according to LeAnn, speaking of those other marriages, Eddie`s marriage to make-up artist Brandi Glanville was not working. LeAnn also says her marriage to her former backup dancer, Dean Sheremet, was not working. So Carlos, do you think people should cut them some slack?

CARLOS DIAZ, SYNDICATED RADIO HOST: No. And let me (UNINTELLIGIBLE) by saying both of them - they`re both great people, but they handled this -

ANDERSON: So poorly.

DIAZ: Incredibly wrong, because they`re at that bar where they were caught on a surveillance camera totally like being flirtatious, holding hands and kissing and the whole thing. If your marriage is not done and you are a star of their magnitude - they`re not A-listers but they`re stars.

ANDERSON: People are watching them.

DIAZ: People are watching. You`ve got to be more discreet, and they weren`t. And if a girl - if a woman is going to watch Eddie Cibrian on TV or on a movie and go, "Oh, he`s dreamy," now, you really can`t if you know that he cheated on his wife.

And with LeAnn Rimes, how are you going to believe one of her sad love songs when she broke this guy`s heart?

ANDERSON: I know. (UNINTELLIGIBLE) it`s genuine, exactly. Well, Eddie Cibrian was right there by LeAnn`s side for last night`s TV tell all. And he reveals in this brand-new interview that he hopes people will finally accept that what started as an affair between two people who were married to other people is indeed a really solid relationship. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

EDDIE CIBRIAN, ACTOR: The truth is that, you know, we`re human beings. We make mistakes and we learn from them, but we`re human. We fell in love. We`re talking about something that`s over a year - a year and a half old, really.

And we`re still together and, you know, we`re madly in love. And I think people are finally seeing that. But it doesn`t mean that, you know, people will accept it or the tabloids will stop trying to print, you know, lies and try to tear us apart or tear us down.

RIMES: We`re really happy and what we feel privately we hope one day I think people will feel publicly.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: And leads us to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - is it time to forgive LeAnn? Lauren?

LAKE: Well, I`ll tell you what. At the end of the day, it`s going to blow over and there are going to be two new stars that are having affairs and we`re not going to even be thinking about them.

But I will say this really quick Brooke. I remember seeing Sting talk about the same thing on Oprah years ago about him meeting his wife and he was still married at the time - I think his wife now, Trudy.

They were more sympathetic towards him. So I don`t know if we`re villainizing LeAnn because she`s the woman. But I don`t see, you know, the husband taking as much heat. I don`t know. We`ll wait and see. But I think, at this point, it`s going to blow over.

ANDERSON: Carlos, what do you think? Is it time to forgive LeAnn? I actually think forgiveness is healthy but at the same time, I don`t think adulterers should mistakenly think that it`s OK.

DIAZ: Yes. And I love the fact that she said, "take away all my albums, if you take away (UNINTELLIGIBLE)" - yes, they`re going to work for those people, you know. In my small town, where I grew up in Indiana -

ANDERSON: Home wreckers, yes.

DIAZ: If you do that, the entire town is pointing fingers at you -

ANDERSON: Yes.

DIAZ: And now, your town is America because you`re a worldwide star. So, yes, if we take away all your albums and you`re a celebrity, we`re still going to say what you did was a bad thing.

So do you forgive and forget? Eventually, you have to. But are they big enough stars that we should care about them anymore?

ANDERSON: And it`s hard to justify what they did.

DIAZ: Yes, exactly.

ANDERSON: And I`ve got to wonder, you guys, whether Eddie`s ex forgives LeAnn herself, A.J. She was also speaking out today.

HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. Eddie`s ex, Brandi Glanville, went on national TV on "The Talk" today. And she revealed that she`s actually extended her own olive branch to LeAnn, reaching out to LeAnn through, of all things, Twitter. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BRANDI GLANVILLE, EDDIE CIBRIAN`S EX-WIFE: I reached out to her because I don`t have a home number for them and I`m not allowed to go to their house. I don`t have a way of reaching LeAnn so I went on Twitter and I said, you know, I just want to have dinner with her. And I don`t follow her on Twitter.

SHARON OSBOURNE, HOST, "THE TALK": Twitter is an awful thing.

GLANVILLE: I know. I agree with you, but I had no other way. I didn`t -

(CROSS TALK)

OSBOURNE: Post a letter to her house.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes, obviously, that made it very public. But Lauren, are you OK with that? Hey, she says she didn`t have their number, so why not Twitter?

LAKE: This is ridiculous. As if it wasn`t immature and ridiculous enough for your husband to leave you and you`re married and you get with another married woman. And now, you`re talking to the person that stole your husband on Twitter. Stop the madness, lady.

No, that`s not how you go about it. Let it have time. I`m sure there will be enough time for she and LeAnn to be in the same room. Get a grip.

HAMMER: Well, a lot of people have something to say about this. That`s why we`re asking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll this - "LeAnn Rimes Says She Cheated for Love: Is it time to forgive her?" Go to CNN.com/ShowbizTonight to let us know what you think.

But right now, on to that other big star marriage mess. Charlie Sheen`s soon to be ex-wife now saying she was blindsided by Charlie`s decision this week to file for divorce.

Her attorney is telling TMZ Charlie humiliated Brooke - that`s Brooke Mueller, his current wife whom he`s divorcing - because he didn`t give her the heads-up that he was filing for divorce.

Carlos, if that`s true, it would seem to me that after all they`ve been through, he could have given her some advance notice before, you know, it was front page news. What do you think?

DIAZ: I don`t want to side with Charlie on this because he`s done a lot of weird bad things in the past few days. And I don`t want to side against Brooke because I know her and I like her.

But Brooke, come on. You guys did the paper work back in May. The date on the paperwork is December 25th. You said on "TMZ.com," you know - when a paparazzo came up to you, you said "I`m separated" before he filed for the paperwork on Monday.

HAMMER: Right.

DIAZ: So you knew it was coming. I honestly think, Brooke, in this situation, is looking for a little bit more cash in this situation.

HAMMER: OK. So you`re saying, "Yes, what`s the big deal?" Got to leave it there -

DIAZ: There`s a motive behind it, A.J.

HAMMER: All right. Carlos Diaz, Lauren Lake, thanks, guys.

ANDERSON: All right. Moving on to this, there`s a startling Oprah Winfrey-Michael Jackson controversy today - anger today over Oprah`s interview with Michael`s kids because of a child molestation connection.

HAMMER: Well, I can tell you Bristol Palin just made a very big boo boo. You know what? I`m thinking Mama Palin is not going to be all that happy about this today. Is Bristol in big trouble?

ANDERSON: Hey, William Shatner might be in trouble, might get a time-out for the words coming out of his mouth. He`s singing. And if that`s not bizarre enough, he`s using some very naughty words.

(SINGING)

ANDERSON: Captain Kirk has become Captain F-word. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: Let`s roll out the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - these are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Aretha Franklin ordered to cancel her upcoming concerts due to hospitalization. Lenny Kravitz and TNT partner on new single "Come on Get It" for NBA season.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LENNY KRAVITZ, SINGER: It`s a new track that I just finished actually a couple weeks ago. Oh, come on. Get it?

(MUSIC PLAYING)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SANDY LEE, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT PRODUCER: There`s a lot of issues with celebrities and tabloids these days. What is the message you want to give to people about tabloids and their -

BRAD PITT, ACTOR: I don`t know. I don`t watch them. I don`t look at them. No, life`s too short.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Sandy knuckled. That`s SHOWBIZ TONIGHT producer Sandy Lee getting Brad Pitt to reveal if he reads all those tabloid stories about him and Angelina Jolie. Sandy caught up with Brad at the premiere for "Megamind." Brad does the voice of "Metro Man" in the brand-new movie. It is out this Friday.

And you know, Brad Pitt may not pay attention to the tabloids but there is a new controversial Web site that is watching his every move.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood, A.J. Hammer in New York. And now, a SHOWBIZ special report, stalking the stars.

HAMMER: Well, Brooke, there is brand-new star outrage today about "JustSpotted.com." This is a new Web site to track celebrities and their every move. And now. stars are speaking out to us about it and they are really scared. But the people behind the site are fighting back. They`re saying "JustSpotted.com" just plain fun. Here`s SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

KAREEN WYNTER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): Kanye West tangling with photographers at LAX.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Bye, Britney.

WYNTER: Britney Spears hitting a tanning salon in L.A. Star sightings snapped by the paparazzi offer fans the ultimate celebrity fix.

But now, can you forget waiting for a picture or video to post online or a magazine. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you if you really want to track a star`s every move in real time, a controversial new Web site, "JustSpotted.com," offers fans a chance to do just that. And its founder, A.J. Asver, tells us the access to the stars is unprecedented.

A.J. ASVER, CO-FOUNDER, "JUSTSPOTTED.COM": Totally up-to-the-minute sightings of celebrities around the world. We want to bring fans closer to celebrities that they really love.

ANDERSON: Celebrities tell us it`s a little too close for comfort. Pussy Cat Dolls` Nicole Scherzinger says the site crosses a line.

NICOLE SCHERZINGER, SINGER: That`s horrible. That sounds really scary.

WYNTER: "Lost" actor Jorge Garcia, seen here in character for the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" calls "JustSpotted.com" downright creepy.

JORGE GARCIA, ACTOR: I`m thinking yikes - that`s what I`m thinking. I mean, that`s really the whole reason I don`t Twitter, you know. It`s like up-to-the-minute is a bit too close, you know, for what I`m doing.

WYNTER (on camera): And if you want to see what a star is doing right now on "JustSpotted.com," just punch in their name. For example, Kevin Bacon. When we checked, Kevin was spotted just four minutes ago hanging out on the streets of New York in wife, Keira.

ASVER: We`ve actually had celebrities that have, like, E-mailed us and said, "Hey, can you make sure that I`m on the site. This is my schedule the rest of the week."

WYNTER (voice-over): And it`s that technology, Asver says, that`s keeping fans and stars connected like never before. "Just Spotted" isn`t the first star-tracking site. Like other sites, such as the now-defunct "Gawker Stalker," fans can post pictures of celebrities. The difference? "Just Spotted" also pulls information from social networking sites like Facebook and links it to a Google map that shows the stars` exact location, when they were spotted there and what they were doing.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: That makes it pretty scary.

WYNTER: Police tell SHOWBIZ TONIGHT sites like this one could turn curiosity into something more sinister. LAPD detective, Jose Viramontes, who handles celebrity stalking cases tells us he fears "Just Spotted" could easily become a dangerous hunting tool for obsessed fans.

DET. JOSE VIRAMONTES, LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT: Fixated individuals on certain celebrities have gained information from Web sites like this, have flown from across the world to actually go to that location and meet.

WYNTER: "Just Spotted`s" founder tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that`s nonsense since they`re just posting info that`s already public.

ASVER: With any site that`s out there, I mean, there`s a danger some very small minority can use it in the wrong way.

WYNTER: The folks at Twitter are even backing away from "Just Spotted" after initially agreeing to link its celebrity tweets to "JustSpotted.com." Now, Twitter`s rep tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "JustSpotted.com" is not the product we licensed and we have terminated their agreement." Still "Just Spotted" says Twitter`s backtrack hasn`t hurt business.

ASVER: We actually stopped using that data feed anymore and we are using a publicly available data feed.

WYNTER: And so far Asver says "JustSpotted.com" is feeding fans` appetite, serving up a healthy dose of voyeuristic celebrity entertainment. And right now, it seems a lot of people are eating it up.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Well, since "Just Spotted" launched last month, it`s been really busy. The co-founder said the site got more than 100,000 hits in its first week alone, Brooke.

Also our "Showbiz on Call" phone lines getting a lot of hits. A lot of people calling in about 17-year-old Miley Cyrus kissing a 26-year-old guy in a new music video.

ANDERSON: Yes, that`s right, A.J. We`ve got a call on to "Showbiz on Call" from Jessica from Idaho. And Jessica says, whatever. No big deal.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

JESSICA, CALLER FROM IDAHO: I don`t think it`s wrong that Miley is kissing a 26-year-old. My husband is about 15 years older than me and she turns 18 in less than 20 days anyway. So I don`t see the big deal.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Thanks, Jessica. Call us at "Showbiz on Call" and let us know what you think about this or anything else that is on your mind.

HAMMER: The "Showbiz on Call" phone lines are always open.

ANDERSON: The number is 1-888-SBT-BUZZ; 1-888-728-2899. Simply leave a voicemail. We will play some of your calls right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

HAMMER: All right. Here we go again. Kanye West says he is sorry again. His incredible apology today to George W. Bush for accusing Bush for being a racist during the whole Hurricane Katrina controversy.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

WEST: I definitely can understand the way he feels to be accused of being racist in anyway because the same thing happened to me.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: And get this - Kanye is even dragging Taylor Swift into this whole thing.

ANDERSON: And this really surprised me. Partridge family star, David Cassidy, arrested.

HAMMER: Here`s my question for you today. What are you going to do when Hulk Hogan tries to rap to Notorious BIG. I think we should all be very scared.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HULK HOGAN, REALITY TV STAR: No, this is dedicated to you, big, small, big straight up brother. It was all a dream. It`s all about me and big or small. Keep it real. I`ve been hustling my whole life, too, dog.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That`s not the whole thing. Hulk apparently flashes his privates in front of his own daughter. Nice. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Arrest Warrant issued for `70s/`80s TV host Gary Collins after he left accident scene. New book claims Billy Joel`s "Uptown Girl" about Elle MacPherson, not Christie Brinkley.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT will name the most provocative celebrity of the week on Friday. This week`s nominees, teen star Demi Lovato who shockingly checked into treatment for emotional and physical problems. Portia De Rossi and her explosive anorexia confession. Or LeAnn Rimes saying she doesn`t live her life with regrets after cheating on her husband.

Who do you think is the most provocative celebrity of the week? Send a text to 45688. Type SBT1 to vote for Demi Lovato; SBT2 for LeAnn Rimes; SBT3 for Portia De Rossi. Or you can vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook page. We`re "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT HLN" there.

Standard text messaging rates do apply. And we will reveal who we name and see if it matches up with your pick on Friday.

HAMMER: Now, Brooke, I`m thinking we may need to add Hulk Hogan to the mix of nominees for most provocative celebrity for seemingly exposing himself in front of his daughter.

Did you see this? This is a brand-new ad for the videogame for "Def Jam Rap Star." And in this thing, Hulk tries to do his best Notorious BIG. But I think he makes a very BIG no-no had he appears to be flashing his privates in front of his long-time wrestling buddy, Jimmy Hart, and his 22- year-old daughter, Brooke. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

H. HOGAN: I`m Hulk Hogan, the greatest of all time and I`m an unexpected rap star. And if you don`t know, well now you know.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: (UNINTELLIGIBLE), but either way, it is Hulk-a-mania running wild and way too wild at that.

ANDERSON: Yes, way too wild, A.J. OK. I just checked our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook page. Already, we are getting tons of posts for our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - is it time to forgive LeAnn rhymes for cheating on her husband with a married man?

Debbie C. writes this, "Time to move on, people. Stuff happens. Things happen exactly like they are meant to happen."

But Ginger H. adds, "Note to self: send LeAnn a scarlet letter for her forehead so she can quit bringing up this entirely personal and private matter."

HAMMER: Time now for the SHOWBIZ lineup - here`s what`s coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

Kanye is sorry again. Kanye West`s incredible apology today to George W. Bush for accusing Bush of being a racist.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

WEST: I think we`re all quick to pull, like, a race card in America. And now, I`m more open and the poetic justice that I feel is that I feel the same thing that he went. And I pretty more connect with him on a humanitarian level.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Bristol`s big oops. What Bristol Palin didn`t do that Mama Palin can`t possibly be happy about. Is Bristol going to get yelled at?

And finally, the very first same-sex "Dancing with the Stars" couple. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

It`s time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Keith Richards confirms Rolling Stones to record new album and tour. Mariah Carey to sell line of jewelry, shoes live on HSN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - a startling Oprah Winfrey-Michael Jackson controversy. Anger today over Oprah`s interview with Michael`s kids because of a child molestation connection.

Bristol`s big bombshell oops. What did Bristol Palin not do that may have made her mom very, very upset?

William Shatner sings really dirty. It`s Shatner`s shocking (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

(MUSIC PLAYING)

What the - plus, breaking today from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - Lindsay Lohan working from rehab? And millions for a fake Lady Gaga?

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - Michael Jackson fans are mad at Oprah.

HAMMER: Oh, yes, Brooke. Big Oprah outrage today just days before Oprah airs her big exclusive interview with Michael Jackson`s family, including his three children.

Now, that`s going to be fascinating. The special airs on Monday, but it`s just days after Oprah`s two-day special about child molestation. So what`s the big deal here?

Well, A Michael Jackson fan group is actually accusing Oprah of scheduling the Jackson interview near the molestation special on purpose. But is that just a ridiculous thing to say?

Right now, in New York, Lauren Lake, who is an attorney and author of "Girl Let Me Tell You." And right now, from Hollywood is Carlos Diaz, who is a syndicated radio host.

OK, guys, the group that is furious with Oprah today is called the Official Michael Jackson Fans of Southern California. And in a statement to TMZ today, this is what they`re saying, "We`re both angry and disappointed in Oprah`s constant need to reference child molestation shows prior to airing Michael Jackson-related episodes. Her tone seems to speak volume."

Quite frankly, I think this is ridiculous. I cannot imagine for a moment that Oprah Winfrey would intentionally schedule a molestation special because she was also airing a Michael Jackson special. Carlos, to you first, are you with me that the fan club`s claim is just nuts?

DIAZ: A.J., I`m 100 percent with you. What is Oprah`s, you know, motive here? I mean, what does she have to gain by that? Oprah`s way too classy to pull a stunt like that. I mean, you know, it`s a great get that she got the Jackson family to sit down.

You don`t want to muddy that by creating controversy around that. I honestly believe - I believe what Oprah is saying it is purely coincidental. And the fan club needs to chill out a little bit.

HAMMER: Yes. I do get why super Michael Jackson fans could be upset by something like this, reading into it like this. But quite frankly, unless Michael`s name is mentioned in connection to the molestation topic, I think people are just over-thinking it. Lauren, ridiculous to you?

LAKE: I agree. I`m going to rename them the Official Knuckleheads of California. I`m tired of this already.

HAMMER: OK. Lauren Lake, everybody.

LAKE: From a criminal defense perspective, he was found not guilty in a court of law for all of those charges. Nobody was even thinking about that.

But now since you brought it up, official knuckleheads, guess what everybody`s thinking? Let the man rest in peace. If his children are going to be interviewed, let`s celebrate the children and let`s quit bringing up negativity when I believe Oprah is trying to do something positive.

HAMMER: Yes, I agree. You know, what she`s talking about with the molestation special is obviously an important topic. She`s not doing her big programming grid, placing Michael Jackson right after that for any reason other than, I would imagine, pure coincidence.

And I have to wonder if perhaps this group is stirring the pot because Michael Jackson`s brother Randy made the same suggestion. He actually went off on Twitter over how M.J. would actually never want Oprah near his kids after she aired a show on pedophilia during the Michael Jackson`s 2005 molestation trial. Brooke, what is Oprah saying about this today.

ANDERSON: You know, A.J., SHOWBIZ TONIGHT reached out to Oprah today. But a spokesman told us there is no connection whatsoever between the two shows. And that`s what we`re all thinking here.

OK. I`ve got to move on now to more big news breaking today in another shocking feud, this time between former president George W. Bush and Kanye West. And get this - today, Kanye is now dragging Taylor Swift into the whole thing.

In a brand-new interview, Bush is slamming Kanye`s famous Katrina moment during that Hurricane Katrina telethon back in 2005. Watch this to refresh your memory.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MYERS: The destruction of the spirit of the people in southern Louisiana and Mississippi may end up being the most tragic loss of all.

WEST: George Bush doesn`t care about black people.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: A.J., clearly Kanye was furious at George W. Bush. But we didn`t know what president Bush thought of that moment until now. What`s he saying?

HAMMER: Yes. Well, Bush`s book is about to come out. And he spoke with Matt Lauer about the book. And during this interview, Bush said this about Kanye West, "It`s one thing to say, `I don`t appreciate the way he`s handled his business.` It`s another thing to say, `This man`s a racist.` I resent it, it`s not true and it was one of the most disgusting moments in my presidency."

Carlos, do you think the president does have every right to still be angry at Kanye even five years later?

DIAZ: At the time, he called it the most disgusting moment of his presidency. I`ve got news for you, President Bush. As someone who was in New York City on 9/11, the morning of 9/11 - really?

That some rapper calling you a racist, that`s what you`re going to take away from your presidency? Give me a break. I cannot - I`m so mad at this comment that - how you`re disrespecting the memory of the people who lost their lives in 9/11 and you`re focusing on Kanye West? Give me a break.

ANDERSON: Yes. A lot of people were shocked, Carlos, because President Bush was criticized for a number of issues during his presidency, you know, 9/11, the war, taxes, the economy, all sorts of things - Hurricane Katrina.

DIAZ: Weapons of mass destruction.

ANDERSON: But Kanye did call him a racist, essentially. So do you understand how that did -

DIAZ: I understand what he`s saying, but he`s overcompensating, because he`s saying, "Oh, I`m not a racist and I`ll prove it to you by saying this was the darkest moment."

ANDERSON: It was the all-time low, yes.

DIAZ: You had so many all-time lows in your presidency. I`m not saying you caused them. But there were so many things that happened in the eight years you were in office. To look at Kanye West -

ANDERSON: Maybe it was a poor way to address it. He does say (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

DIAZ: Imagine that, President Bush addressing something in a poor way.

ANDERSON: He does say he does address a lot of tough issues in that book. And I`ve got to say Kanye West is also speaking out today responding to President Bush saying that he, Kanye, can actually relate to the president`s frustration.

In a brand-new interview on Houston`s 97.7, The Box, Kanye compared calling Bush a racist to cutting off Taylor Swift at the VMAs. Listen.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

WEST: I definitely can understand the way he feels to be accused of being a racist in any way because I - the same thing happened to me, you know. With him it was lack of compassion, with him not rushing, you know, and not taking the time to rush down to New Orleans.

With me, it was the lack of compassion of, you know, cutting someone off in their moment. You know, I think we`re all quick to pull like a race card in America and now I`m more open and the poetic justice that I feel to have went through the same thing that he went and I really more connect with him on just a humanitarian level.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

ANDERSON: OK. It sounds to me as though Kanye does feel badly about the whole thing. But Lauren, is it a fair comparison? And poor Taylor Swift. What did she ever do to be dragged into this mess again?

LAKE: Taylor`s like, "People, I got a new album out."

ANDERSON: Yes, leave me alone.

LAKE: You know, at the end of the day, I have to give Kanye a little bit more credit than George Bush. I`m with Carlos. What in the world? Are you really talking about this on your book promotion tour? Why do we even want to buy this book?

On the other hand, I have to say from a character like Kanye, from a person that has gone from being a person that speaks way before he thinks, I think what he`s trying to say - that`s a long way.

But I think what he`s trying to say now is, "You know what? I can understand how when people put a label on you, you have to live with it."

ANDERSON: Yes.

LAKE: And whether it`s really true or not, at the end of the day, they`ve already stuck it on you. And so I commend Kanye for thinking before he spoke.

ANDERSON: He said he can relate and he`s learned a whole lot from the experience. Lauren Lake, Carlos Diaz, thanks, guys.

HAMMER: All right. As we move on, there`s a Bristol Palin bombshell oops today. I`m pretty surprised about this. What did Bristol not do that may very well make her mother Sarah Palin hot under the collar?

ANDERSON: There`s a new mug shot hanging in the celebrity mug shot hall of shame today. Wait until we tell you why teen heartthrob, David Cassidy, got busted by the cops.

HAMMER: Hey, did you see this? William Shatner channeling his inner hip- hop star.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

Why is William Shatner singing Cee-Lo`s foul-mouthed hit? What`s going on? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Time for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Real gun found on the scene during filming of a "Law and Order: L.A." episode. Madame Tussauds spending $2.4 million to create eight Lady Gaga wax figures.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

ANDERSON: A.J., there`s big news breaking in "The Buzz Today." Bristol`s big bombshell. Oops. You may be shocked when you find out what Sarah Palin`s daughter did not do on Election Day.

A Celine triplet revelation. Celine`s emotional new baby confession today. And Taylor Swift super-sales. Her new album is a real record breaker.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) Taylor Swift`s super sales. Swift just landed on top of the Billboard album chart selling more than a million copies of her newest album, "Speak Now." It`s the biggest album debut since 50 Cents` "The Massacre" five years ago. She`s only the fourth female artist over the last 20 years to sell a million albums in a week.

Celine`s triplet shocker. Celine Dion just revealed devastating news that she lost a baby. While Dion is overjoyed to have new twin sons, she tells "People" magazine she was actually pregnant with triplets.

In early visits to the doctor, she heard three heart beats. But then, tragically one of them disappeared. She says, "That little baby decided to leave the space for the two others and to say goodbye to us. It happened very early in the pregnancy but still, it shocks you."

Bristol`s ballot bombshell. Bristol Palin just revealed she forgot to vote and now she`s answering to her mom, Sarah Palin. Bristol tells "Inside Edition," "I did not send in my absentee ballot in Alaska. I`m going to be in trouble. Sorry, mom."

Maybe Bristol`s been working to hard on "Dancing with the Stars" but you can bet she won`t forget in 2012 revealing she`d love to see her mom run for president saying, "I know that she`s great and she`d be great for our country."

(END VIDEOTAPE)

Oh, to be a fly on the wall in the Palin household today. Sarah Palin`s potential presidential hopes make it all the more shocking that Bristol actually admitted that she did not vote. So is mama bear Palin scolding her cub today?

Right now, in New York, is comedian Chuck Nice. And with me, in Hollywood, is Kim Serafin. She is a senior editor for "In Touch Weekly."

OK. Chuck, Kim, we all know that Bristol is very busy practicing her dance moves. She`s on "Dancing with the Stars." But I`ve got to say that`s really no excuse for not voting, especially when Bristol is in the public eye and has the platform to stress the importance of voting.

Kim, I`m thinking Mama Palin may be a little bit upset with her daughter right now.

KIM SERAFIN, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": Well, yes. In some ways, this is a big election in Alaska. It was the tea party candidate that Sarah Palin endorsed, the write-in candidate.

But I think the mother, Sarah, will be much more upset if Bristol forgets to vote in the Wasilla mayoral election with Levi running. And hopefully, she will vote against Levi.

ANDERSON: She`s giving her a pass for this one?

SERAFIN: Yes. I think it`s OK if disheartened with Alaska politics right now, that Levi is allowed to run.

ANDERSON: Well, somebody not giving Bristol a pass is Meghan McCain, the daughter of Sarah Palin`s old running mage, John McCain. Meghan`s not happy about Bristol`s confession. You got to hear what Meghan told Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" last night. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MEGHAN MCCAIN, DAUGHTER OF SEN. JOHN MCCAIN: If you didn`t vote in my family, that was like bad news. I`ve been voting since I turned 18. I guess it`s only important to Bristol Palin to vote for "Dancing with the Stars." I don`t know.

I think a lot of women worked really hard to give us the right to vote. And I think anyone that doesn`t vote - it`s just ridiculous.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Meghan is really going after Bristol. But Chuck, is she being too hard on Bristol?

CHUCK NICE, COMEDIAN: Absolutely. That`s sour grapes, if I ever saw it. Come on. No one cares if a grizzly cub votes. We only care if grizzly cubs dance. And that`s what she`s doing and that`s what we want. So God bless her for that. Plus Bristol probably knows -

ANDERSON: Every vote counts, Chuck Nice, grizzly cub or not. All right -

NICE: I think what Bristol Palin really feels is this - "How can my one vote make a difference?" So -

ANDERSON: Oh, don`t say it. Well, listen to this irony. You know, viewer votes are keeping Bristol on "Dancing with the Stars." So, A.J., do you think Bristol`s dancing fans may get wind of this whole thing and say, "No more vote for you?"

HAMMER: Yes. That would be ironic, Brooke. I don`t see it happening but she would certainly get the message that she sent a bad message by not voting on Election Day. I think it`s a lost opportunity for her to impress upon young people how important it is to vote, no matter how busy you are, Bristol.

Got to get to another story making big news today. Former "Partridge Family" star and teen heartthrob, David Cassidy, charged with DUI. Now, according to a police report, Cassidy was pulled over yesterday. He failed a sobriety test and cops found a half empty bourbon bottle under his seat.

Kim, it has been a very long time since David has had public problems. I`ve got to tell you, it really bums me out to hear the news that Keith Partridge got busted for DUI.

SERAFIN: Yes. I guess Danny Bonaduce is not the only troublemaker from that point. Yes, look - look, hopefully, he`s right. He`s apparently going to fight this. His lawyers put out a statement saying he would never put anyone in jeopardy.

But yes, he did admit to having a glass of wine and then taking a pain pill a few hours before this happened. So hopefully, it was a misunderstanding. He is going to challenging. But you know, we all hope that he is OK.

HAMMER: If it does turn out to be true, do people learn nothing by the things we report here each and every day? My goodness, it just seems to never end. Chuck Nice, Kim Serafin, thank you guys so much.

ANDERSON: Well, David Cassidy isn`t the only Cassidy making big news today. We set the "way back machine" to 1977 and look what we found. David Cassidy`s younger half brother Shaun. From number hits to starring on "The Hardy Boys Mysteries," Shaun was the man.

Thousands of teenage girls all over the world used to scream his name. And today, lots of grown women were screaming and hollering for Shaun today. Did you see this? Shaun Cassidy was one of the guests on Oprah`s show today all about teen heartthrobs.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SHAUN CASSIDY, FORMER TEEN HEARTTHROB: I have no book to pitch. I have no record coming out. I have no movie. I don`t have a sex tape. I literally only have gratitude to you for the last 25 years and gratitude -

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

To you guys for sharing that experience with me because it is a communion, you know. And I had my experience and you all had your experience. And it`s a very different experience but it`s wonderful.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Moving on now, William Shatner plays a dirty-word spewing dad on TV. But did you see this today? William Shatner sings dirty, too.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

HAMMER: I`ve got to wonder, what the bleep is William Shatner singing about? Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Rapper Lil Wayne released from New York`s Rikers Island jail. Lindsay Lohan is reportedly working on her line of handbags while in rehab.

ANDERSON: It`s time now for the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT buzz list. Now, here is what the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT staff is buzzing about this week.

We love VH1`s dance cam slam. People across America are dancing in front of their Web cams for a chance to win $5,000.

"Waiting to Exhale" author Terry McMillan`s new book, "Getting to Happy," is making us happy.

And `tis the season to get Mariah. Her new "Christmas to You" CD drops soon.

Oprah`s final season really heating up. We can`t wait to see the return of Oprah`s favorite things.

And hey, this is no dream. We love Nelly`s hit song "Just a Dream." This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

HAMMER: "Dancing with the Stars" breaks new ground today. Take a look at this. It`s your very first look at the very first same-sex couple to ever appear on the popular show.

The couple appears on the Israeli versus of "Dancing with the Stars." It airs in 75 countries, so who knows? It may not be too long before same- sex couple will appear on the U.S. version.

William Shatner sings Cee-Lo? Did you see this? Shatner actually has some stuff in common with hip-hop star, Cee-Lo. For example, Shatner plays a foul-mouthed Mr. Cranky Pants on his new CBS show, "(EXPLETIVE DELETED) My Dad Says." Cee-Lo has a foul-mouthed hit, "(EXPLETIVE DELETED) You." I`m not even going there by trying to say those titles, but Shatner is going there.

Shatner is not only saying the bad words; he`s singing them, too, on George Lopez` late night talk show. Check it out.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

ANDERSON: There is something so wrong about that, A.J. He obviously feels it`s OK to drop the F-bomb if you kind of sort of sing it.

HAMMER: You know, Bill Shatner has a great sense of humor. I`m just surprised he wasn`t singing better because, believe it or not, he`s a recorded singing artist, so I`m just a little surprised.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT will name the most provocative celebrity of the week on Friday. Will it be teen star, Demi Lovato, who checked into treatment for emotional problems? Portia De Rossi, her explosive anorexia confession? Or LeAnn Rimes saying she doesn`t live her life with regrets after on her husband? Enter your vote on our Facebook wall.

All right. Moving on, Wednesday, we asked to you vote in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll. Just moments ago, we got the final results. Look at what happened here - Miley Cyrus Music Video: Was it wrong for her to make out with a 26-year-old?" Fifty-nine percent of you say yes. That surprises me. Forty-one percent of you, like me, say no. Nothing wrong with it.

Fans on the SHOWBIZ Facebook page fired up today over Miley. Now, Crystal A. thinks that Miley`s headed towards a messy life if she is doing things like this at 17, "Imagine what she`ll do next. She`s not a good role model and is setting a very bad example."

We also heard from Shelby S. who says, "Actresses kiss even women in movies. Sixteen-year-old Dakota Fanning made out with Kristen Stewart in a movie. Was that blown out of proportion? No. Leave Miley Cyrus alone."

Yes. I was saying on the show yesterday, Brooke. I really don`t think it`s a big deal. She`s almost 18 and it happens all the time in movies.

ANDERSON: A lot of strong opinions.

HAMMER: Well, that is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is live at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Monday through Friday.

HAMMER: And we`re still TV`s most provocative entertainment news show seven days a week at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific.
