Aired December 21, 2010 - 23:00   ET

THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.

A.J. HAMMER, CO-HOST: Big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - Lindsay`s shocking new fist fight. Brand-new explosive reports that Lindsay got into a nasty battle while in rehab. The police called. Could Lindsay be thrown back in jail? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT investigates this startling new Lindsay Lohan drama today.

BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Hollywood fame and fury. The unbelievable jaw- dropping things stars have done that have made them both famous and infamous. Like Palin power - Sarah, Bristol, even Levi. The nonstop frenzy about their soap opera lives.

HAMMER: And mistress mayhem. The incredible fury and fascination with the women behind the biggest star cheating scandals.

ANDERSON: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.

ANDERSON: Hi, there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - Lindsay the suspect?

HAMMER: Yes. Big trouble brewing today for Lindsay Lohan. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can confirm that police are investigating Lohan for an alleged fight that went down at the Betty Ford Clinic. Leave it to Lindsay Lohan to find trouble even while she was in rehab.

Now, the Palm Desert Police department tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Lohan is the target in a battery investigation involving another woman who is reportedly a staff member at Betty Ford. And TMZ is reporting the woman wants Lindsay prosecuted.

Now, Lindsay is in rehab under judge`s orders, that after a long list of alcohol and drug-related legal problems. And this explosive new case we learned about today could put Lindsay back in a jail cell.

Right now, from Atlanta, Carlos Diaz, who is a syndicated radio. And tonight, he is also the guest host on HLN`s "Prime News." With me, in New York today, Cooper Lawrence, who is a syndicated radio host and author of the fine book, "The Cult of Celebrity."

Well, police are telling us today that the alleged fight happened on December 12th at the Betty Ford Clinic. TMZ is reporting that Lindsay mixed it up with a female staffer who tried to make her take a drug-alcohol test after Lohan broke curfew.

Now, we haven`t confirmed that. But I`m one of those people who really held out hope that this time Lindsay was finally turning things around. And I was actually surprised to hear this news. Carlos, what about you?

CARLOS DIAZ, SYNDICATED RADIO HOST: Yes. You bring a great point, A.J. People are surprised to hear this and it doesn`t matter if this violates her probation. It doesn`t matter if there`s going to be charges pressed.

What we`re hearing is fighting. We`re hearing the word "bars." We`re hearing "breaking curfew." See, those things, if you want to get back into the actual game of Hollywood, back into acting, back in the scene, those are not good things to hear.

HAMMER: No, not at all. And again, all these things are as of yet unconfirmed and Lindsay hasn`t commented on the investigation. But TMZ is quoting sources who claim to have Lindsay`s side of the story, which is that the Betty Ford staffer, not Lindsay, was the instigator.

Now, again, we haven`t confirmed anything but it`s clear something happened at the clinic and someone there got the cops involved. She`s in rehab because she got in trouble. And now, she may be in trouble while she`s in rehab.

And Cooper, if any of this is true, it sounds like Lindsay Lohan has an awful lot of work yet to do to get her life back on track, and that`s disappointing.

LAWRENCE: The latest research on rehabilitation shows that there`s at least nine times that people relapse. So you have to build in the fact that it`s not - you know, the first time never takes.

HAMMER: Sure.

LAWRENCE: It rarely takes with anybody.

HAMMER: Sure.

LAWRENCE: But here`s the thing - if it was a staffer, think about who is in rehab, the most vulnerable, the most angry, the most - the people that are in the worst possible pain. So if it was staffer who instigated it, they should know better and not instigate something with a patient, let alone the fact that it was Lindsay Lohan.

HAMMER: Certainly, and again, all speculation. Nothing about this has been confirmed. And you say, you know, people often relapse up to nine times. Well, by our count this is Lindsay`s fifth time in rehab.

LAWRENCE: Four more to go.

HAMMER: Yes. In court, this summer, she did say she`s finally getting serious about fixing herself. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LINDSAY LOHAN, ACTRESS: I`m not taking this as a joke. It`s my life and it`s my career and something I`ve worked for my entire life. And you know, I`ve learned from my experiences. I take responsibility for my actions.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: So with Lindsay being a rehab five-timer now and now that we`re hearing today that Lindsay is being investigated for some kind of a fight in rehab, it really seems that rehab and Lindsay don`t mix very well. But Carlos, what`s left?

DIAZ: I mean, really, you said it best in the open. She had to be scot- free. She had to be crystal clean to get out of this and go right back into acting. There is nothing left.

If you can`t handle this rehab - and she has until January 3rd before she`s officially out. If you can`t handle this stint without any drama, no one is going to hire you for their multimillion dollar motion picture.

HAMMER: Yes. I mean, you know, if she was uninsurable before, if any of this proves to be true, who the heck is going to put her on their payroll?

LAWRENCE: Right. It`s stupid, too. And besides that, you know, she obviously has some issues that the rehab is not getting to. I think the best place for her would be jail. She would have to be clean there. She wouldn`t be able to escape, even though jail is probably a horrendous place to be. That`s what she needs.

HAMMER: But that`s already happened. She`s been to jail a few times.

LAWRENCE: What, for five seconds? No, no. She needs real jail time because she needs to really rehabilitate.

HAMMER: You know, it`s so funny that we`re having this conversation. And again, this is old news, the fact that jail didn`t work. Everybody said she should be in rehab.

LAWRENCE: She wasn`t there long enough.

HAMMER: And right now, it seems that that is not working. Well, police did tell us today that their investigation is only for a misdemeanor. But still, it really could turn into a big legal headache for Lindsay because she`s still on probation. One more violation could send Lindsay to jail for a long time.

Let`s go to the SHOWBIZ news line. It`s time we get a look at her probation problems. August 2007, Lohan was sentenced to three years of probation for a pair of DUI arrests earlier in the year. She pleaded guilty to being under the influence of cocaine and no contest to driving above the legal limit.

October 2009, Lohan`s probation was extended for another year because she didn`t go to the substance abuse classes that she was ordered to go to. July this year, a judge sentenced Lindsay to jail for violating probation after she didn`t go to her required alcohol education classes.

I`m getting breathless telling you all of this. And just last October a judge found, once again, that Lohan violated probation when she failed a drug test before - the month before, didn`t send her to jail, but he warned her one more violation could send her to jail for six months.

So Carlos, it sounds like maybe that`s what could be happening. And if I`m Lindsay Lohan, I`m pretty worried about this police investigation possibly leading to another probation violation that sends me back to jail.

DIAZ: And it`s scary we`re not hearing anything from Lindsay Lohan. And if I`m Lindsay`s people I`m like, "Let`s get a statement out there." I would get in front of this story. But you know, you were breathless reading that.

You go down the list of all the things that she had done wrong, all the probation violations. Now, you have drama with this. It doesn`t matter if, you know, in the reports, that, you know, there were no alcohol or drugs found in her system. That doesn`t matter. It`s the fact that there`s more drama involved with Lindsay Lohan.

HAMMER: Yes. And as of show time, we have not received any kind of a statement from Lindsay Lohan or the people who represent Lindsay Lohan.

But we`ve got to get to some other big stories that are breaking today. Brooke Anderson, what is going on?

ANDERSON: A.J., you`ve heard of love triangles. Well, I don`t know what geometric shape this is. Shania twain is now engaged to the ex of a friend who allegedly had an affair with Shania`s ex. Also, rocker and ladies` man, Bret Michaels, has popped the question on his reality show. And Chris Brown reaches a milestone in his sentence for beating Rihanna. It`s all making big news in "The Buzz Today."

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) Shania`s engaged. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has learned that Shania Twain`s boyfriend, Swiss business executive, Frederic Thiebaud, popped the question to the country superstar.

The couple caused controversy when they first started dating and here`s why. Thiebaud is the ex-husband of Twain`s former best friend. And some people claim that best friend had an affair with Twain`s first husband ending Twain`s marriage. Twain`s best friend has denied those accusations to "People" magazine.

Bret Michaels is also engaged. The rocker finally proposed to his on again/off again girlfriend of 16 years, Kristi Gibson. Michaels just did it on the finale of his VH-1 reality show "Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It."

BRET MICHAELS, SINGER: I want you to be my wife.

KRISTI GIBSON, BRET MICHAELS` FIANCEE: Are you sure?

MICHAELS: I`m sure. Just say yes because rejection will kill me right now if you reject me.

K. GIBSON: Of course, I will.

ANDERSON: Class is over for Chris. Chris Brown has graduated if his required domestic violence training course. The singer even tweeted a picture of his completion certificate and added, "I have enough self- respect and decency to be proud of accomplishing this DV class. Boys run from their mistakes. Men learn from them."

Brown was required to take the one-year class as part of his plea deal for attacking Rihanna. Brown remains on probation until 2014.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

I have to tell you Brown raised some eyebrows for seeming to congratulate himself for completing a domestic violence course. He even tweeted a photo of his diploma. But I think he should be proud. And the judge in Brown`s case has praised him for the way that he is working to fulfill his sentence in the Rihanna beating case.

Cooper, what do you think? I mean, what Chris Brown did to Rihanna was horrible. But now, do you think he`s genuine about working to become a better person?

LAWRENCE: Who the hell knows with him? You know, I have to say, this is a reaching out in general. This is a reaching out in general. You know, you want to say, well, he`s doing it to - you know, his fans going through the exact same thing. He`s trying to bond with them.

But he`s so arrogant and so narcissistic that I feel like this is just another thing that he`s done and say, "Hey, look how fabulous I am." That`s not what`s it`s about.

ANDERSON: OK. So you`re skeptical.

LAWRENCE: Of course, I`m skeptical. It`s Chris Brown.

ANDERSON: I think this is more than just an effort to repair his image. I hope that he is being sincere here. And you know, things, in a way, are looking up for Chris Brown. He was just nominated for three Grammy Awards. Now, he`s finished his domestic violence classes.

Carlos, do you think it`s possible that things are finally turning around for him?

DIAZ: Yes. I think people are trying to forgive him. Things like this don`t help. I mean, doing things you ought to be doing. I mean, "Yay, you don`t hit girls." What?

Listen, I`m proud that the judge likes you. I`m proud that you`ve made steps. But you don`t need to put up a big banner saying you`re not a woman beater anymore. It`s not cool.

LAWRENCE: Right.

ANDERSON: Well, I definitely don`t think that this is a diploma that he wants to frame or put on his wall. Or maybe he does and it can be a reminder that he needs to continue to better himself.

All right. I do have to ask you guys now about another big story we were talking about that`s breaking in the buzz today. Shania Twain marrying again. She and her new husband-to-be have something in common.

Their ex-spouses reportedly had an affair with each other, a charge that the two exes deny. But Cooper, quickly, as a psychology expert, do you think marrying the ex of the woman who allegedly broke up your marriage can lead to a long, successful relationship with Shania?

LAWRENCE: Yes. There is always (UNINTELLIGIBLE). When you think about it, you hang out with people who are the most like you. You hang out with people that you trust and you know. So there must be some trust there with at least the ex-husband of the friend.

ANDERSON: Well -

(CROSS TALK)

LAWRENCE: Yes, you know what I`m talking about. It`s all convoluted.

DIAZ: It`s the ultimate country song.

LAWRENCE: Right. Expecting a Grammy out of this for her.

HAMMER: All right. Moving on, which reality star bugs you the most? How about "Jersey Shore`s" Snooki, Heidi and Spencer? What about the accused White House party crashers, the Salahis?

ANDERSON: A.J., a lot of people were furious at Miley Cyrus for appearing in this music

(MUSIC)

Yes, that`s pretty racy. But Miley`s smooching wasn`t the only issue. It had a lot to do with how old Miley was when this video came out. But was this really such a big deal?

HAMMER: And lots of stars and non-stars do it and then regret it, getting inked with their boyfriends` or girlfriends` or husbands` or wives` name. The relationship ends and then, yes, you`ve got a tattoo sitting right there. So we`ve got to ask today, is love tat a good idea or just unfortunate ink?

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: "Barney Miller" actor Steve Landesberg dies after a long fight with cancer. "30 Rock" star, Tracy Morgan is recovering from a kidney transplant.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TRACY MORGAN, ACTOR: How can no one go to Ken`s party? He`s such a great dude.

TINA FEY, ACTRESS: Will you come, please?

T. MORGAN: Oh, I can`t. I only go to A-list events.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: We welcome back to this special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Fame and Fury." I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with A.J. Hammer in New York.

HAMMER: And Brooke, I think you should call the Centers for Disease Control, get those scientists working on a vaccine or something, because SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has declared an unofficial epidemic of mistress-itis.

ANDERSON: Yes, A.J. From Jesse James to Tiger Woods, the number of women claiming to be the mistresses of famous men has gotten so out of control we cannot even keep track anymore.

HAMMER: Yes. And as it turns out, being a mistress to a famous married man can actually be a good career move. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has put its team of investigative producers on the case to get to the bottom of all this mistress mayhem.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over): The economy continues to struggle to escape from a painful recession. But there`s one industry in this country experiencing major growth.

JOSLYN JAMES, ALLEGED MISTRESS OF TIGER WOODS: I was in love with Tiger.

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you as the Sandra Bullock-Jesse James marital crisis and the Tiger Woods are scandal showing us alleged celebrity mistress business is booming.

NINA PARKER, TMZ: It`s the popular thing. It`s the new black.

HAMMER: It`s a job that requires lots of shamelessness but no college degree. Claiming you slept with a married celebrity can get you national headlines.

Tiger Woods` alleged mistresses have all but written the book on how to ride an alleged celebrity affair to fame. Lots of women got lots of TV air time with their claims of an affair with Woods. And some of them have parlayed that attention into lucrative careers including one who snagged an online commercial.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I decided to do some shopping online.

HAMMER: And on an interview on HLN`s "ISSUES WITH JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL," Joslyn James didn`t rule out using her newfound fame to return to her old career, porn movies.

JOSLYN JAMES: I`m keeping myself open to the possibility of doing some again. But that`s not my main focus.

JO PIAZZA, CELEBRITY JOURNALIST: There`s so many people making money off of these scandals these days. And the magazine sales are way up. So the magazines are making money. The mistresses are getting paid for their story.

HAMMER: And entertainment journalist, Jo Piazza, tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT the instant fame and fortune one can get by claiming an affair with a married celebrity sends a bad message to girls everywhere.

PIAZZA: It`s saying, "Don`t bother going to school. Just be a skank."

HAMMER: But the upside - if America`s extremely profitable mistress mayhem continues, the recession will be over pretty quickly. Now, that`s an economic stimulus plan.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

And I think it`s fair to say there has been some mayhem in David Arquette`s life since he split up with Courteney Cox. David has even denying that he`s having a nervous breakdown.

He spilled the beans about his sex life with and without Courteney. He was photographed partying like a rock star in Miami. And David admits he`s boozing it up big time. So all of this got some people thinking, including Howard Stern, is Arquette losing it? Listen to what he told Howard on his Sirius radio show.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

HOWARD STERN, RADIO TALK SHOW HOST: Are you having a nervous break down?

DAVID ARQUETTE, ACTOR: I believe so - yes.

STERN: I`m being serious.

ARQUETTE: No, I`m being serious, too. Everybody`s worried and concerned about me.

STERN: Are you seeing a psychiatrist?

ARQUETTE: Yes.

STERN: OK. You`re talking to someone?

ARQUETTE: Yes.

STERN: You going a couple days a week?

ARQUETTE: No.

STERN: No?

ARQUETTE: Just one day a week.

STERN: All right. When you say you think you`re having a nervous breakdown -

ARQUETTE: Yes.

STERN: What did you say to him?

ARQUETTE: I said that to him. And he says, "Oh, I don`t think you are.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Well, as serious as that conversation sounded, David says he was just joking. And he got on Twitter to say he`s just fine. This is what he tweeted, "It is being reported I`m having a nervous breakdown. I assure you I am not. This stemmed from a joke I made on `The Howard Stern Show` and like many things in the media, it was misreported and sensationalized. I always speak my mind and I really don`t care what people that don`t know me may say."

So David says he`s not having a nervous breakdown, which I`m glad to hear. It just really didn`t sound like a joke to a lot of people.

ANDERSON: Well, there`s no joking around when I say that the Palins are huge. They are super-famous and they sparked a lot of fury, too. The reality show, the Sarah, Levi, Bristol fiasco.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I think that they are a soap opera come to life. The stuff that happens to this family, you couldn`t put this together if you were a writer for "All My Children."

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: You can say that again. So why are the Palins so successful? That`s next.

HAMMER: Fame and fury caught on tape. A passerby comes to the aid of a police officer who is being attacked. It`s totally incredible. I`m playing all this for you and some other incredible fame and fury caught on tape.

ANDERSON: So what`s happened to other provocative celebrities of years past? Well, Tiger`s now ex-wife Elin Nordegren kept her mouth shut until ink was dry on her divorce papers.

Then she opened up to "People" magazine. Her dramatic tell-all reportedly sold nearly two million copies. That is the biggest seller for "People" since Brad and Angelina and their twins were on the cover.

So where is Elin now? No one really knows but a friend tells "People" magazine that Elin is healing and is making a new life for herself. You are watching a special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Fame and Fury," on HLN news and views.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We will now reveal that the couple in third place is Bristol and Mark.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. So Bristol Palin didn`t win "Dancing with the Stars," but she did a lot better than most people thought she would. I actually was pretty impressed with her the end and the fact she got so far, well, that`s definitely Palin power at work.

Bristol, her mom Sarah, the entire Palin family - they have plenty of fame, obviously. But there`s also plenty of fury directed at them as well.

ANDERSON: A.J., despite all their controversies, though, just about anything with the name Palin on it sells. Some even say that the Palins are the biggest celebrity family ever. Here`s SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter with a revealing look at Palin power.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

KAREEN WYNTER, CNN ENTERTAINMENT CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): It`s the kind of unscripted drama that only Sarah Palin can create.

FMR. GOV. SARAH PALIN (R-AK): I`m honored, though, that she thinks I`m a celebrity. That`s funny.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You`re certainly not.

WYNTER: Americans can`t seem to get enough of this provocative political family.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: To be part of the political process instead of becoming a celebrity so you could - (UNINTELLIGIBLE). If that is the best you can do, good for you.

ROY SEKOFF, FOUNDING EDITOR, "THE HUFFINGTON POST": Part of it is sort of just watching this train wreck happen. Oh, my god. What are they going to do next? No, not that.

WYNTER: "The Huffington Post" founding editor, Roy Sekoff, says the Palins are cashing in on their 15 minutes of fame.

(on camera): What is it about the Palins - America`s obsession. People just can`t seem to get enough of this family?

SEKOFF: Well, I think they are a soap opera come to life. I mean, the stuff that happens with this family, you couldn`t put this together if you were a writer for "All My Children." You have the people who love her. You have the people who hate her. But everybody is talking about her.

WYNTER (voice-over): And that includes Levi Johnston, the Palin`s most famous former son-in-law to be.

LEVI JOHNSTON, BRISTOL PALIN`S EX-FIANCE: It`s happening in a relationship where (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

WYNTER: Sekoff says it`s the limelight that propelled the Palins and Johnston to celebrity status. The headlines about Levi`s and Bristol Palin`s love child, their two broken engagements, the buzz about Johnston shopping his own reality show. And oh, that music video that Johnston just appeared in that had tongues wagging because many said it poked fun at the Palins which Levi denied.

JOHNSTON: Watch the video. It`s going to be hot.

WYNTER: But when it comes to the media firestorm over this family, Sekoff says it`s Palin`s persona as a political lightning rod that`s fueling the public`s appetite.

SEKOFF: People are interested in the Palins.

WYNTER: And it`s the interest that`s creating a gravy train for this family, proving it pays to be a Palin.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: And that train`s not stopping. And now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT lineup - here`s what`s coming up on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, fame and fury caught on tape. A jaw-dropping school board shooting. The reality star who bugs you the most - Heidi and Spencer, Snooki, maybe even the accused White House party crashers, the Salahis.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: But you didn`t sit down for dinner?

MICHAELE SALAHI, ALLEGED WHITE HOUSE PARTY CRASHER: Right.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Is that because there was not a seat for you?

M. SALAHI: No, it was because they had a lentil soup. I can remember it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. So it`s the soup. And unfortunate ink. Stars getting tatted up with their significant others` name. But with so many star splits, is this really a good idea? Really? This is a special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Fame and Fury," on HLN news and views.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Now, on this special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Fame and Fury," the unbelievable jaw-dropping things stars have done that have made them both famous and infamous.

ANDERSON: The reality stars who bug you the most. I`m talking about Snooki, the Kardashians, even the alleged White House party crashers, the Salahis.

HAMMER: Unfortunate ink? Big stars - their one-time honey`s name tattooed on their body. But do they now regret it? A special edition of TV`s most provocative entertainment news show, "Fame and Fury," continues right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to a special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Fame and Fury." It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.

ANDERSON: I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. And today, it is the best of the worst reality stars. I`m talking about the most controversial, the most infuriating and, yes, the ones that you just secretly love to get mad about.

So which reality star bugs you the most? Like Snooki from "Jersey Shore" and the beautiful and mysterious Kardashian sisters. What about plastic surgery queen Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt in and "The Real Housewives of D.C.," of course, including those pesky alleged White House party crashers, the Salahis.

Right now, in Hollywood, Laura Saltman with "Dish of Salt" for "AccessHollywood.com." Also, right now, in Hollywood is Maggie Furlong. She is the west coast editor for AOL Television and Movie Fone.

OK, ladies, let the loving and the bugging begin. First up in our reality star bonanza, the one, the only Snooki from "The Jersey Shore." She`s had quite a year, right? She was actually tried in a court of law for being annoying. .

She drank so much she was arrested, got in a vicious fight with her roommate, Angelina. The list goes on and on. So Maggie, how does Snooki stack up for you in this list of reality stars that really bug you? She`s kind of high on my list.

MAGGIE FURLONG, WEST COAST EDITOR, AOL TELEVISION AND MOVIE FONE: She`s high on my list, too. But you have to think about it. She`s so small and so tan and has so much hair, it`s hard to hate her that much. There`s so much happening -

ANDERSON: That cute little thing packs a punch, though.

FURLONG: Packs a punch. But there`s so much going on that you kind of have to laugh. She`s a perfectly put together nightmare.

ANDERSON: Laura, are you loving or bugging on Snooki?

LAURA SALTMAN, "DISH OF SALT," "ACCESSHOLLYWOOD.COM.": You know, actually, I feel bad for her because when she`s like, you know, 10 years older, she`s going to look back at all of this footage and she is going to be absolutely horrified by everything she`s seeing - the partying, the drinking, the making out. So I kind of feel bad for her.

ANDERSON: Hopefully, she`s building up future children`s college funds. Hopefully, something good will come out of this embarrassment and humiliation for her.

Let`s move on now to the Kardashian sisters, shall we? Kim and her sisters are usually sweethearts, but they got on this list. A lot of people love to watch their reality show, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

But Kim Kardashian reportedly made $6 million in 2010 and that fact has a lot of people asking, for what? What did she do? Truth is she is a very successful business woman.

But Maggie, do you get why so many people absolutely rank the Kardashian sisters as reality stars that bug them the most?

FURLONG: Oh, yes, especially the other sisters. I mean, at least with Kim, she`s kind of taking this famous for being famous and knowing famous people thing and parlayed it into more of a business.

The sisters just seem like, oh, yes, we`ll do that. We`ll put our name on a horrible debit card. We`ll totally open another store with you. Absolutely -

ANDERSON: Luckily, they cancelled that agreement with the debit card.

FURLONG: Thank god. But they`ll pretty much stamp their name on anything. And all are just about making money. At least Kim, you can understand. she works hard for it. But the other ones, come on.

ANDERSON: They work hard, too. They certainly know how to capitalize on their reality show fame. A.J., I personally think the Kardashian sisters are the least of our worries

HAMMER: And that, Brooke, because there are so many more salacious and outrageous reality stars. And one of those reality star couples that just gets under your skin, you just can`t help but totally be fascinated with them at the same time, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.

Now, Heidi completely changed the way she looked through scores of surgical procedures. She made a big deal about it and then said, oops, it was all a big mistake. Laura, how does Heidi Montag and on-again, off- again partner, Spencer, rank on your list of reality stars who bug you the most?

SALTMAN: OK. Number one, I don`t understand why these two are still around. They just need to go away. I think I`ve been saying this now for like a year that they can go away.

And you know, it really bothered me that, you know, she went into getting the plastic surgery of her own accord. And then, now, she`s bashing this plastic surgeon who, you know, passed away -

HAMMER: Yes.

SALTMAN: In a tragic accident for saying that, you know, he kind of pushed her into getting things that she didn`t really need or want. So I think it`s really sad on their part.

HAMMER: Well, maybe they have gone away for good. Let`s let that happen, shall we? Here`s the icing on the controversial cake - the Salahis from "The Real Housewives of D.C." They got people really fired up. These are the folks who allegedly crashed a White House dinner but then said, "Oh, no, we were totally invited."

I`ve got to say, there aren`t many people who buy their story, especially after they explained it on "The Real Housewives of D.C." reunion show why it is that they actually didn`t stay for dinner. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You didn`t sit down for dinner.

M. SALAHI: Right.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Is that because there was not a seat for you?

M. SALAHI: No, it`s because they had lentil soup, I can remember it.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You didn`t like what they were serving?

(CROSS TALK)

M. SALAHI: I can remember the whole night.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Where are you going?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: This is like - just not getting any answers.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You know what? We`re hearing their side of the story for the first time actually.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: No, no, it`s totally (EXPLETIVE DELETED).

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Well, you know what? Let`s hear it. So you weren`t - you left because you didn`t like the food?

M. SALAHI: No. I was - no, I left because I wasn`t feeling well.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: She blamed the lentil soup. Who did SHOWBIZ TONIGHT name the reality star who bugged us the most this year? Drum roll, please. The Salahis win.

We`re crowning them with this honorable title. You know what, Maggie? I think they`d be tickled pink about this. What do you think?

FURLONG: I think that Michaele might even do a little cheer. You know, she may or may not have been a Redskins cheer leader. We`re still not really sure on that one either.

HAMMER: Yes. I think they love any bit of attention, including this particular honor. And we`ll leave it there. Maggie Furlong, Laura Saltman, thank you both.

ANDERSON: All right. Reality TV has made a lot of people big stars and incredibly famous, right? While others - they`re simply born famous. Famous kids of famous parents. Will and Jada Pinkett Smith`s kids, Madonna`s daughter, Lourdes. These celebrity offspring have huge careers of their own already. And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask now, could they become bigger stars than their parents?

Here`s SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

WYNTER (voice-over): From Will and Jada Pinkett Smith`s daughter, Willow, to their movie star son Jaden, to Madonna`s designing daughter, Lourdes, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you children of stars are stepping out of the shadows of their uber-famous parents more than ever and creating hot spotlights of their own.

(MUSIC)

Willow`s very first song, "Whip My Hair" whipped up a frenzy online with more than 10 million views on YouTube.

Willow`s 12-year-old brother, Jaden, flexed his movie-making muscle into a blockbuster remake of "The Karate Kid," a film that earned an incredible $360 million worldwide.

And Madonna`s daughter, Lourdes, bypassed the big screen and went straight for the runway with her own fashion line inspired by none other than her megastar mom.

LOURDES LEON, MADONNA`S DAUGHTER: It`s like about her and like her style of the `80s, which is amazing. I mean, we both have very strong opinions about what we like and what we dislike.

MADONNA, POP STAR: What a shocker.

LEON: I mean, that`s how she raised me.

WYNTER: The real shock is how many of Hollywood`s new generation of stars come with a celebrity pedigree. "Us Weekly`s" Dina Sansing tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, there`s no better way to prepare for stardom than growing up with famous parents.

DINA SANSING, "US WEEKLY": For these young children getting into the business, they really have the best kind of supervisors, their parents, who understand it way more than a parent who isn`t in the business.

It`s natural that these kids, even at a young age, want to get into the business themselves.

WYNTER: Natural, and in some ways, unavoidable. Comedienne and TV host Daphne Brogdon tells us the obsession with the children of stars also plays a part in pushing kids into show business.

DAPHNE BROGDON, COMEDIENNE AND TV HOST: I think that fetish fascination with celebrity kids is why they get a start so young in their celebrity careers. They can`t even wait until they get through adolescence.

WYNTER: Jennifer Lopez has seen that fascination firsthand. She and hubby Marc Anthony work hard to keep their kids, Max and Emmy, out of the spotlight. Still, Lopez was willing to bend the rules for a charity photo shoot with her kids.

SANSING: Most recently, we saw J. Lo`s twins, just two-and-a-half years old, modeling for Gucci. This is a situation that she saw an opportunity. The proceeds went to charity. She thought it was a good time for them to have beautiful pictures of them.

WYNTER (on camera): As celebrity kids look for a good time to make their moves, they can learn from past stars like Michael Douglas whose careers were so successful their famous roots are practically just a footnote.

(voice-over) Douglas cashed in big time on "Wall Street" and in Hollywood with an incredible 40-year career that includes two Oscars. There is little doubt he caught the acting bug from his dad, big screen legend, Kirk Douglas.

Academy Award winner Angelina Jolie rocks Hollywood`s red carpet and despite her rocky relationship with her dad, actor Jon Voight, he may get some credit for giving her a jumpstart.

Like Angelina, Sophia Coppola can thank her famous dad for her start in showbiz. Coppola is the daughter of "Godfather" director, Francis Ford Coppola. But now, Sophia is an Oscar-winning screenwriter who`s made Hollywood history of her own.

Only time will tell whether the new generation of celebrity kids will make history, too. But it`s safe to say they`re off to a pretty good start.

ANDERSON: That was SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter.

HAMMER: And we move on to a dramatic fury over a gunman`s shocking caught- on-tape shooting rampage. I`m going to show you frightening real-life dramatic moments.

Also this -

(SINGING)

ANDERSON: Heidi Klum, her husband Seal, two famous married stars both naked. So will this help Seal sell records?

HAMMER: You know, love can be painful, especially if you get the name of your boo tattooed on your body and the relationship falls apart. Ouch. So with so much heartache in Hollywood, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask, is a love tattoo a good idea or is it unfortunate ink?

Well, we are catching up with some of the most outrageous, provocative all-stars of 2009. Balloon Boy dad Richard Heene. You remember him. He caused a national panic by telling cops his kid was missing and might be floating in this helium-filled balloon. Turns out the Heene story was, of course, full of hot air, but where is Balloon Boy dad now?

Well, you have got to check out Heene`s newest creation. It`s the Heene backscratcher.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RICHARD HEENE, FATHER OF THE "BALLOON BOY": Order at "BearScratch.com." The secret is in this natural textured wood and all these tiny knots. This gives a deep, deep penetrating scratch. Oh, man. That feels good. This thing`s strong. Ah, god! Now, that`s a bear scratch! That is a bear scratch!

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. I see that and I think it`s such a shame he essentially has gone away. This is a special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Fame and Fury," on HLN news and views.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(MUSIC)

ANDERSON: That`s Erykah Badu`s eye popping video for her song, "Window Seat." Now, Badu touched off a fury for not only stripping down naked, but for pretending to be shot in the very same place where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated back in 1963.

We welcome you back to this special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Fame and Fury." I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with A.J. Hammer in New York. And now, Miley Cyrus fury.

HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. Miley caused a major fury in a steamy music video. And the thing is it`s not even for one of Miley`s songs.

ANDERSON: No, it`s not. It`s Rock Mafia`s "The Big Bang." And Miley is doing some pretty provocative stuff in it and she wasn`t even 18 at the time. Take a look.

(MUSIC)

ANDERSON: By the way, the guy that Miley is making out with in the video is "Gossip Girl" star Kevin Zegers.

HAMMER: And now, caught on tape drama. There have been so many truly unbelievable, outrageous real-life moments that played out on video and ignited fury worldwide.

We`re talking about a horrifying gun battle, a made-for-Hollywood casino heist and wild police rescue - all dramatic moments that defy the imagination, all dramatic moments that were caught on tape.

And I do have to warn you, some of this video is very disturbing.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over): A dramatic standoff with a crazed gunman at a school board meeting.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`ve got a feeling that you want the cops come in and kill you.

HAMMER: A straight out of Hollywood casino heist in Las Vegas.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Call it Ocean`s one.

HAMMER: And a cop under attack by a violent suspect who`s joined in his fight for his life by a unidentified passerby.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: A roadside tag team match.

HAMMER: The big news shows today are filled with these shocking real life adventures, each of them involving ordinary people in extraordinary and horrifying situations.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Please don`t.

HAMMER: And each of them caught on camera and played around the clock today for the entire world to see.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He`d already told us that he was going to die.

HAMMER: First, you`ve got to see what happened when these Florida school board members survived an armed standoff after a gunman appeared at their meeting and took them hostage. Afterward, the school board members appeared on all the major morning news shows to share their terrifying story.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m just so thankful to be able to be here and talk with you.

HAMMER: A live Internet feed of the school board meeting caught the whole chilling-scene, including the strangest part of the story, school board member, Ginger Littleton, sneaked back into the room after the gunman had let her go and tried to knock the gun out of his hand with her purse.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No, Gin.

HAMMER: Fortunately, he didn`t harm Littleton. On CNN`s "American Morning," Littleton revealed what was going through her mind at that super- scary moment.

GINGER LITTLETON, BAY DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD: My thought was that plan A had failed, and I didn`t have a plan B, which was probably not one of the smartest things I ever did.

HAMMER: After Littleton`s heroics, cameras also caught the standoff`s disturbing conclusion when the gunmen started firing at the terrified school board members. He didn`t hit anyone. Seconds later, he was shot by a security guard, and he later killed himself with his own gun. The survivors told CNN`s "AMERICAN MORNING," they`re grateful to be alive.

WILLIAM HUSSFELT, BAY DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD: It`s a miracle. There`s no other excuse for it. I mean, God blocked those bullets, and I have no doubt about that.

HAMMER: Morning shows today also had field day with this brazen casino heist caught on surveillance cameras.

KIRAN CHETRY, CNN ANCHOR: The Bellagio is down technically about $1.5 million in chips

HAMMER: Police say a thief robbed the ritzy Bellagio Casino in Las Vegas of at least $1.5 million in chips.

GEORGE CLOONEY, ACTOR: You`re either in or you`re out, right now.

HAMMER: Forget the high tech, highly-choreographed casino heist George Clooney and his all-star thieves pulled off in the movie "Ocean`s 11." All this alleged casino robber needed was a gun, a helmet and his getaway motorcycle.

TV news shows also couldn`t get enough of this too-wild-to-believe story, straight from the dash cam of an Ohio police officer. A suspect pulled over for a burned out taillight Saturday turns on the police officer, and even appears to grab at his gun. Then, a passerby, a woman, comes from out of nowhere and helps the cop subdue the suspect.

This officer she helped save appeared on "Good Morning, America" and expressed his appreciation to the mystery hero.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I would like to say thank to you her.

PIAZZA: The woman that helps off the cop would make an awesome crime fighting duo with the woman who smacked the shooter.

HAMMER: It`s these stories of real life horror and heroism that makes for the most exciting television.

PIAZZA: I think it`s because everyone has a camera these days. We all have a camera on our phone or we`re carrying around a flip cam that we`re able to catch these crazy moments that can only happen in real life.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: Now to tattoo taboo. Big stars are advertising their relationships on their bodies by getting inked. With so many terrible breakups here in Hollywood, is this a good idea or are those love tats unfortunate ink?

HAMMER: Well, Sandra Bullock`s world imploded when she found out about Jesse James` mistress madness. Just weeks after the high of winning her first Oscar, Sandra`s marriage imploded with the news that her husband, reality star, Jesse James, had a string of alleged mistresses. Where`s Sandra now? America`s sweetheart is taking care of her new co-star, her son. This a special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Fame and Fury," on HLN news and views.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: That is supermodel Heidi Klum and her rock star husband, Seal - two really cool people. It`s Heidi and Seal in next to nothing in this music video for the song, "Secret."

And Brooke, what is certainly not a secret is that Seal and Heidi are both in amazing shape.

ANDERSON: Yes. They are, A.J. And Heidi, who has the body of a goddess, is the mother of four kids.

HAMMER: That`s right. And Heidi even shared that there are au-natural pictures of her and her husband in their private bedroom. So I am not at all surprised to see Heidi and Seal get sort of kind of naked in his music video. Oh, let`s watch some more, shall we?

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Well, I guess they`re nom completely naked. They are, after all, wearing jewelry.

ANDERSON: Yes. I saw a watch, some rings, some necklaces. And you know, Heidi Klum has some arm jewelry herself. She`s got a tattoo of Seal`s name on her arm. But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has to ask, are love tats a good idea or can they become unfortunate ink?

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over): They`re trendy. They`re hip. And sometimes, they last longer than love. Think of all the heartache in Hollywood these days. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has got to ask, is a love tattoo a good idea, or is it unfortunate ink?

Pamela Anderson had it easy. She once had her ex-husband Tommy Lee`s name inked on her ring fever. But when the love was no more, that tattoo went from "Tommy" to mommy to gone for good.

Angelina Jolie didn`t have it as easy. Back when Angelina was hot and heavy with Billy Bob Thornton, she tattooed her name where everyone could see it. But after they broke up, this love tat went from this to this to this. Geographic coordinates of where her six kids were born. That had to hurt.

Christina Aguilera thought there ain`t no other man when she married Jordan Bratman. She had "I love you forever" in Spanish and his initials in Hebrew inked on her arm. Christina later filed for divorce. So those tattoos probably sting more now than when she got them.

Eva Longoria is probably having some ink remorse after she filed for divorce from Tony Parker. Eva has the roman numerals of their wedding date tattooed on her wrist and Tony on his ring finger. Eva reportedly even got his initials on a private part of her body. Talk about unfortunate ink.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Thanks for watching this special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Fame and Fury." I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: and I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Take care.
