(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Disturbing claims today that the show may be breaking child pornography laws. Our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint today - is "Skins" too hot for TV?

TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City with big news breaking today - too hot for TV?

The steam is coming out of the ears of outraged groups today who are furious about MTV`s hot new show and I do mean hot. The show is called "Skins." It features teenagers doing things that, well, let`s just say parents would not want their teenagers doing, including sex and drugs.

And it comes across as all too real. And now, there`s talk it might even be breaking child pornography laws. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the late breaking developments in the "Skins" outrage.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I only like really great narcotics, understand?

HAMMER (voice-over): They do drugs. They have sex.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It`s girl-on-girl. It`s like live porn, man.

HAMMER: And then they do more drugs.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: So we`re doing a lot of drugs. Better buy now.

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you MTV`s new hit drama, "Skins," about a group of hard-partying, sex-obsessed teenagers, is now causing an orgy of criticism.

MELISSA HENSON, PARENTS TELEVISION COUNCIL: Who is your target audience? Pedophiles?

HAMMER: And most shocking of all -

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Thanks, Tony. I`ll add it to my porn stash.

HAMMER: "Skins" is so racy it`s reportedly making executives at MTV nervous.

LINDSAY POWERS, "THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER": Network executives have ordered producers to tone it down.

HAMMER: Which is why SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can also tell you that a show is so naughty that it causes headaches at the network that brought us raunch fests like "Jersey Shore" -

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Tonight, I definitely want to touch his (EXPLETIVE DELETED).

HAMMER: That`s saying something. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the latest news today about the show that may be too hot for MTV.

MTV premiered "Skins" this past Monday and it was a huge hit -- 3.3 million viewers tuned in.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We need to sort out some weed or I`ll stand here in the do-do and steal it.

HAMMER: But even before the kids from "Skins" lit up their first joint, parents` groups were jumping on the show.

HENSON: It has potential, if it is successful, to change the face of television, to make it OK to present high school-age actors and actresses in these highly eroticized environments.

HAMMER: Unlike most teen shows like "Glee," where most of the teen characters are played by adult actors, the misbehaving characters we see in "Skins" are played by actors between the ages of 15 and 19.

And Melissa Henson of the Parents Television Council tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT her group is asking the federal government to investigate "Skins" to see if it violates child porn laws.

HENSON: We have, in this country, very strict laws regarding depiction of minors in sexually-suggestive materials. And the fact that they`re showing these teenage actors and actresses in these highly eroticized scenarios, they run the risk of running afoul of those laws.

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT learned today that even Taco Bell has decided "Skins" is too spicy for them. The fast-food chain confirms to us that it is pulling their commercials from the show.

POWERS: They say that the subject matter on "Skins" is just not a good fit for their brand.

HAMMER: And apparently, not just sponsors are worried. The "New York Times" is reporting today that executives at MTV are also worried the show may be violating child porn laws and ordered the producers of "Skins" not to show so much skin.

POWERS: According to a report, executives are especially worried about a scene that appears in the third episode in which one of the actors, played by a 17-year-old, runs down the street naked and he`s shown from behind.

HAMMER: But publicly, MTV is standing by the show, telling SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "We review all of our shows and work with all of our producers on an ongoing basis to ensure our shows comply with laws and community standards. We also have taken numerous steps to alert viewers to the strong subject matter."

POWERS: MTV is defending the show saying they`re only airing it after 10:00 p.m. Eastern.

HAMMER: "Skins" is rated TV-MA, a red flag that is supposed to signal it may not be suitable for anyone under 17 years old. Still, a third of those who watched the first "Skins" episode were under 18.

POWERS: As we know, kids don`t exactly go to bed early and turn off their television.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I will accidentally lose control of my (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

HAMMER: With "Skins`" huge ratings and a chance at becoming MTV`s next super-hit show, it`s clear that all the protests may not be enough to be a buzz kill on "Skins."

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Well, the jury is out on whether or not the protest will be a buzz kill for the show or actually just attract for viewers, as often happens.

So with this great debate today going on, here`s our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, is "Skins" too hot for TV?

I want to bring in Sheryl Lee Ralph. She`s an actress, producer and AIDS activist. Sheryl Lee, what do you think? Is "Skins" too hot for TV?

SHERYL LEE RALPH, ACTRESS, PRODUCER AND AIDS ACTIVIST: Look, it`s on TV so we know it`s not too hot for TV. And everybody loves to push that envelope. My only problem is that right about now, our kids are in the envelope and we are pushing them right off the edge. Parents, you`d better wake up and start talking to your kids.

HAMMER: Well, I think the point that`s made, too, in an argument against the show is the fact that these actors and actresses don`t have any consequences. You do what they`re doing in real life, there`s going to be trouble.

Rachel Zalis, contributing editor for "Life and Style Weekly." "Skins" too hot for TV? What do you think?

RACHEL ZALIS, CONTRIBUTING EDITOR, "LIFE AND STYLE WEEKLY": I don`t think so. I mean, this is MTV. They create controversy. Now, this show has actually been a huge hit in England for five years. And they`ve even toned it down a little.

And by the way, "Gossip Girl," every week - sex, drugs, 9:00 p.m. on a youth-oriented show, so I`m not sure of the big difference.

HAMMER: But the argument - the argument there is those are mostly adult actors, where most of the actors and actresses in "Skins" are under the age of 19.

ZALIS: Yes. But there are plenty of films where you have younger actors and actresses in inappropriate situations. They`re actors. That`s what they do.

HAMMER: All right -

ZALIS: The hard part about it is - the reality is this is really happening across this country to a lot of kids. We need to wake up and start loving our kids in a better way.

HAMMER: Yes. And I don`t want to be too hopeful here, but maybe it will spark some conversations if the parents are also watching these shows and saying to their kids, "Hey, is this what`s going on?"

Right now, though, I want to move on to the other breaking news about "American Idol." Late today we learned last night`s second episode of the new season was down 16 percent from last year. The first episode down 13 percent, all this despite all the hype over new judges J. Lo and Steven Tyler.

Tyler making more headlines today about the way he`s been leering at the young female contestants on the show. They`re really in a field with this on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Check this out.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JIMMY KIMMEL, HOST, "JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE": This judging - I don`t know if it`s going to work. You know, J. Lo likes everybody she sees and Steven Tyler wants to have sex with everyone he sees.

JENNIFER LOPEZ, "AMERICAN IDOL" JUDGE: Whenever you`re ready.

STEVEN TYLER, "AMERICAN IDOL" JUDGE: Take a deep breath.

LOPEZ: I love the skirt.

TYLER: Oh, yes. Just the right amount showing. Yes.

KIMMEL: I think we just found out why Janie got a gun.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Sheryl Lee, certainly, Jimmy is having some fun there. But do you think the producers over at "Idol" are cringing at this, or they loving the attention?

RALPH: You know something? Everybody loves the attention, whether it`s good or bad. But I think with this group of judges, the mix is just a little bit off.

HAMMER: Yes.

RALPH: I don`t think they`ve really hit their stride yet, but everybody loves attention. Look at him. Oh, yes -

HAMMER: Well, we`re only in the first week. All right. You have to wonder if "Idol" is regretting losing Simon Cowell right now.

Take a look at the results of our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll. We asked if the "American Idol" revamp with J. Lo and Steven Tyler would work for you guys. Thirty-eight percent said they`re so much better without Simon. A whopping 62 percent said they miss Simon.

And there is a report today that Simon Cowell turned down an incredible $130 million to stay on "Idol." That startling revelation comes from the controversial new book, "American Idol: The Untold Story."

Richard Rushfield wrote the book. He joins me now from Hollywood in a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview. Richard, this is an astonishing claim. Simon turned down $130 million? What the heck happened?

RICHARD RUSHFIELD, AUTHOR, "AMERICAN IDOL: THE UNTOLD STORY": And when you think - it`s even more astonishing to think about the fact that that`s $130 million. And to be a judge on "Idol" is all of two afternoons a week work for four months a year.

HAMMER: Yes.

RUSHFIELD: So per hour, that might be the biggest offer anyone`s ever got in entertainment. But the end, even all that money wasn`t enough for him.

He told me at the end of his contract that he was just tired of just being the star on the show and he wanted to be the master of his house and have the name on his door. He`s gone off to do that with "The X Factor."

HAMMER: Yes. And I guess you can understand if you have all the money you already need, you should follow bliss. Good for you, Simon.

Well, in your new book, you also reveal the real reason that Paula is no longer with "Idol." It is because she was fired. So what happened here?

RUSHFIELD: Well, for all the drama you saw of Paula on the air, there was a lot of drama backstage. I mean, there was a sort of constant battle of handle - holding to sort of get her on the air.

And a new regime had come along at Fox who decided that they were just - just had had enough that. At the time, she was getting paid $2 million a year and she wanted $5 million.

She said, "Give me $5 million or I`m walking." And they said, "Well, we just can`t find the $5 million." But we know now two years later, that they`re paying $12 million - upwards of $12 million each for Steven Tyler and J. Lo. So if they had wanted to find that money for Paula, it could have been found.

HAMMER: Yes.

RUSHFIELD: But I think they lost sight of her connection with the (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

HAMMER: Yes. And the bigger picture, to be sure. And it`s going to be really interesting to see if the new judges can make up for, you know, Paula and Simon`s absence.

You make one terrific and I thought very funny revelation in this new book about the show and the show`s obsession with making sure they had four judges just like the British version of the show.

And the idea apparently was tossed around that one of the judges might not have to be human? What is this about?

RUSHFIELD: Well, exactly. When they came over from England, Fox`s rule was, don`t change anything from the British show which had four judges.

So they tried a lot of people in that seat. But when they finally went to air, they filmed it with a fourth judge on the first episode of "American Idol," and that judge was actually a chimpanzee.

HAMMER: What?

RUSHFIELD: And his reign - they filmed - there was a chimpanzee judge on the first episode of "American Idol," never seen. And his reign came to an end shortly after he bit Paula Abdul in a dispute.

(CROSS TALK)

HAMMER: Well, who doesn`t want to bite Paula Abdul. That`s unbelievable. I do need to point out we did reach out to Fox today about all of this. They said, of course, no comment.

But Richard Rushfield, thank you very much. Good luck with your new book "American Idol: The Untold Story."

Got to move on right now. Sandra Bullock blindsided? Did Sandra Bullock know her ex, Jesse James, was getting married again? And I want to know your engagement for Jesse today - good luck or good riddance?

The new, nasty Kim K-"Teen Mom" smackdown today. Kim Kardashian attacking the show about teen pregnancy, while teen mom Amber Portwood says, "Hey, look who`s talking, Kim. You made a sex tape."

Also, this -

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. There`s big news breaking today at the Sundance Film Festival about Robert Redford`s future.

Is most one of the most legendary actors and directors of our time all ready to hang it up? Redford is, of course, the founder of the Sundance Film Festival.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Brooke Anderson is covering Sundance in Park City, Utah. So Brooke, what is Redford saying?

BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Well, we were right there, A.J., at the opening day press conference for the festival when Robert Redford was asked if he plans to retire.

You know, with so many Hollywood legends like Larry King, like Regis Philbin announcing their retirement, does Robert Redford consider it as well? Listen to what he said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ROBERT REDFORD, ACTOR AND FOUNDER OF THE SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL: I had not thought about retiring. I`m going to die, but I haven`t thought about retiring.

But I did - I would - to sort of answer your question, I would like to put a nod to somebody.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: All right. So the Sundance kid, who is still, A.J., as rugged and handsome and charming as ever at age 74, as no plans of dialing back soon, which is great news for everybody, because he is the heart and soul of the Sundance Film Festival.

HAMMER: Yes. I can`t imagine Robert Redford retiring. But of course, I know there`s a whole new generation in Hollywood just trying to make their presence known at Sundance this year, Brooke, right?

ANDERSON: Yes. You`re right. A lot of the actors who are being talked about, who are being raved about here at the festival weren`t even born when Robert Redford founded the Sundance Institute.

It`s really the invasion of young Hollywood actors who have major star connections. For instance, Emma Roberts, niece of Julia Roberts, has a Sundance film. It`s called "Homework." It`s a coming of age story.

That movie also stars Sasha Spielberg, daughter of Steven Spielberg. And A.J., who knew that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have a younger sister who is an actress, Elizabeth Olsen, who looks so much like Mary-Kate and Ashley that she could be a triplet, has two movies here.

I`m going to speak with her, have an interview with her when she`s here at the festival. But two movies - one is a horror movie. It`s called "Silent House." The other is "Martha Marcy May Marlene" - I hope I got that right - about a woman who escapes an abusive cult.

A.J., it`s not that the Sundance Film Festival needed a facelift, because it surely did not. But it is a new generation that is really taking the festival into the future.

HAMMER: Wow. And I had no idea that Mary and Kate - the Olsen sisters had another sister. I mean, that`s something -

ANDERSON: Right.

HAMMER: That`s like big breaking news right here. All right. Thanks so much, Brooke. Brooke Anderson right there at the Sundance Film Festival.

Next week, be sure to stay with SHOWBIZ TONIGHT for continuing coverage of all the hot headlines from chilly Park City, Utah.

So the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines keep ringing today. A lot of you have been calling in about the premiere of "American Idol" and the new judges of course, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez. Well, Nadine calling in from Pennsylvania, not a fan.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

NADINE, CALLER FROM PENNSYLVANIA: I find it very painful to watch the show the last two nights. There was absolutely no chemistry between J. Lo and Steven Tyler.

It was painful because there was no chemistry going on between any of them and I found myself switching to the Food Channel to get away from it because it was very boring.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right, Nadine. Thanks for your call. Now, Annette from Kentucky says the "Idol" haters are all wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

ANNETTE, CALLER FROM KENTUCKY: I love, love, love the new judges on "American Idol." I think it was very positive, very upbeat. I love the vibe. I love the chemistry. I think it was smart and funny. And Steven Tyler was good.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Annette, thank you for your call. Let`s keep this train moving. Did Sandra Bullock get totally blindsided by Jesse James yet again? Did Sandra know her ex was going to propose to Kat Von D?

And today, I want to know, what`s your message for Jesse? Good luck or good riddance?

More unbelievable pain for Camille Grammer today. You`ve got to check out what happened when she tried to get into the New York City apartment that she shared with Kelsey Grammer.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CAMILLE GRAMMER, REALITY TV STAR, "THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS": When I got to our apartment building, the doorman looked at me and asked me who I was. And I said, "OK, I`m Mrs. Grammer." And he looked at me, and I said, "I`m Mrs. Grammer." And he said, "No, you`re not."

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: What? The doorman thinks someone else is Mrs. Grammer, the woman Kelsey left her for. Brooke Anderson is really fired up. We`ll hear about that, next.

And SHOWBIZ caught on tape, snow-pocalypse edition. The most incredible icy car wrecks that prove man is no match for Mother Nature.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Oh, (EXPLETIVE DELETED). Here comes another one. Oh, (EXPLETIVE DELETED).

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Bam! This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Kim Kardashian says she has no plans to release a full-length album. Minnie Driver tells Ellen she helped a young star with her wardrobe at the Golden Globes.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MINNIE DRIVER, ACTRESS: Her dress was tucked in her knickers. And I did stop and help her. And I believe I said, "I`m just glad you`re wearing knickers."

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Well, Snooki was right here, just steps away, from SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s world headquarters in New York City doing a book-signing. Well, today, we have to call her Snooki, bestselling author. Her book is actually on the "New York Times" bestsellers` list.

Brooke, let me say that one for time, slowly, so it really sinks in - "Jersey Shore`s" Snooki is a "New York Times" bestselling author. Yes.

Her novel, "A Shore Thing," now number 24 on the hardcover fiction list today. Snooki insists she actually put pen to paper and co-wrote this thing.

I`ve got to bring in SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Brooke Anderson right now. Brooke is covering the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

Brooke, there are no words. There`s no need to pinch yourself. This is not a dream.

ANDERSON: I could not believe it when I heard it, A.J. But yes, you`re right. It`s black and white. She`s right there on the list. She`s ahead of Stephen King and Nicholas Sparks, if you can believe that.

Who is buying this book? I have no idea. No one has yet has admitted to me that they are reading the book. She`s obviously getting some good business advice on how to take advantage of her newfound inexplicable fame.

HAMMER: I want to remind everybody I said this was going to happen, for better or worse - possibly only for worse. When it was first announced she was releasing this book, I`m thinking maybe I`m going to curl up with "The Shore Thing" this weekend when it`s like 10 degrees here in New York.

Now, Brooke, I want you listen to this disturbing clip from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season finale as we move on. It just aired.

Camille Grammer, Kelsey`s soon-to-be ex, with the painful revelation of how she was totally humiliated when she tried to get into their New York City apartment before they officially split up.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

C. GRAMMER: When I got to our apartment building, the doorman looked at me and asked me who I was. And I said, "OK, I`m Mrs. Grammer." And he looked at me. I said, "Yes - no. I`m Mrs. Grammer." And he said, "No, you`re not."

So I had to show my ID. How mortifying is that? I was just devastated because somebody`s in the apartment as Mrs. Grammer. It`s just not me.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Quickly, Brooke. I mean, she`s got my sympathy now, completely.

ANDERSON: Well, have I to tell you, thus far in the show, Camille has been portrayed as an out-of-touch, self-serving, unkind person.

HAMMER: Yes.

ANDERSON: But watching the episode last night, I really did feel for her. She`s dealing with pain, worry for her children and public humiliation. It`s sad. It`s unfortunate.

HAMMER: No question about it. All right. Brooke, thanks so much.

Now, we`ve got to move to the SHOWBIZ lineup - here`s what`s coming up on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

A shocking revelation today from the homeless man with the golden voice, Ted Williams, about using booze and drugs.

Plus, breaking today from the SHOWBIZ News Ticker - is Kim Kardashian`s brother getting naked? And Mrs. Obama`s Oprah moment.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City with big news breaking today - Sandra Bullock blindsided?

Sandra`s ex, Jesse James, just revealed to the world he is now engaged to tattoo artist and reality star, Kat Von D. But the question everybody`s asking today is this - did Sandra know it was coming or was she blindsided yet again.

And this is almost exactly a year after she learned Jesse cheated on her. A brand-new report today says Jesse James told Sandra about the engagement ahead of time. And now, there are reports today that say Jesse will marry Kat as soon as next month, virtually the anniversary of his cheating being exposed.

I think for one that`s pretty cruel. But let me go to Rachel Zalis who is a contributing editor for "Life and Style Magazine." Rachel, would that be the ultimate insult to Sandra at this point?

ZALIS: Well, at least Jesse`s finally being honest with her about something. But I mean, come on. He is screaming from the rooftops that this is the happiest year of his life. That is just like kicking her and punching her.

I think it`s awful. But hey, Sandra`s probably like, "Good riddance. You`re on someone else`s hands right now."

HAMMER: Yes. See, that`s kind of how I feel. Maybe she just doesn`t care and is happy that somebody else will have his attention.

And as you mentioned, Jesse has revealed his love to Kat Von D in "People" magazine. Listen to what he said specifically, "I have never met anyone so kind and loving and committed to making the world a better place every day. My love for her is beyond description, so honored that she said yes. Growing old with her is going to be an (EXPLETIVE DELETED) blast."

I`m thinking a - I don`t know - "we`re very happy" would have sufficed. It seems to be a dig at Sandra to say he never met anyone so kind and loving.

So here`s the SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - Jesse James: Good riddance or good luck?

Over to "PopEater.com" columnist, Rob Shuter. What do you think?

ROB SHUTER, COLUMNIST, "POPEATER.COM": I think it`s like kind of shocking that this is really going on, like somebody told "Pop Eater," a source, that he did have the decency to let Sandra know. However, it`s still a kick in the teeth, like it was a surprise that this is happening.

HAMMER: Yes. Unbelievable. Rachel, what do you think? I mean -

ZALIS: Listen, there`s always a shot they could still ride off in a Harley heaven - Jesse and Kat Von D. So I think Sandra is much better off.

HAMMER: Let`s send them on their way. Now, we don`t know what Sandra is really thinking about Jesse`s engagement, of course.

But today, we did learn what the woman who claimed she had an affair with Jesse James is thinking. You remember her, Michelle "Bombshell" McGee? Yes, she sent this message to Kat Von D today on "Radar Online."

Here is what she said, "Kat, what in the world are you thinking? I was with Jesse during his marriage. The guy`s not faithful. He doesn`t have a faithful bone in his body. If he did it to me, if he did it to Sandra, he`s going to do it to you. Once a cheater, always a cheater."

Consider the source. Rob, I`m thinking that Kat Von D should be paying attention to Michelle "Bombshell" McGee and I can`t even believe I`m saying that.

SHUTER: I think it`s shocking to us all, but finally, she said something smart. I think that this is a really shocking thing to do. And the way he went about it is bad. It`s bad news. And goodness knows what`s going to happen with these two. I want to keep the receipt for the wedding gift I`m giving.

HAMMER: I`m not optimistic. All right. I`m going to put that out there. All right. Well, we`re asking about this in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll today, "Sandra Bullock`s ex, Jesse James, getting remarried, good riddance or good luck?" You can vote at CNN.com/ShowbizTonight. You can also E-mail us, showbiztonight@cnn.com.

We`re going to get on to more big news breaking today. Kim Kardashian`s fired-up feud with MTV`s "Teen Mom." Britney Spears does it again, breaking another big record. And Beyonce is set to make music with Clint Eastwood. All of this making big news in "The Buzz" today.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) Clint and Beyonce`s dream team. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has just learned that Clint Eastwood and Beyonce are in negotiations for a musical remake of "A Star is Born."

Eastwood would direct the Grammy Award-winning singer and actress in what will be the fourth remake of the beloved story.

Britney`s big debut. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can reveal that Britney Spears is making Billboard history. Britney just became only the second singer to have multiple songs debut at number one on the Hot 100 Singles chart.

The brand-new single, "Hold It Against Me," is her second number one debut after her song, "Three." Mariah Carey has debut at number one three times.

Kim`s "Teen Mom" smackdown. Kim Kardashian just declared war on the cast of MTV`s "Teen Mom." In a blog, Kardashian writes, "It seems that shows like `Teen Mom` are all of a sudden making teen pregnancy seem cool in the eyes of young girls."

"The kids from these shows are all over the news, even on the covers of magazines and have become almost look celebrities. But, girls, these are not people you should idolize."

Now the teen moms are fighting back. Amber Portwood tells "UsMagazine.com," "Last time I checked, Kim Kardashian had a sex tape floating around on the Internet and I`m pretty sure she made a lot of money off of it. She made a sex tape when she was younger and she wants to bash the girls on `Teen Mom`?"

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I see Kim Kardashian`s point about being careful to not get pregnant as a teen. But did "Teen Mom" star, Amber Portwood, really hit the nail on the head when she called Kim out on her sex tape? Rob, is Kim being hypocritical here, do you think?

SHUTER: I don`t think so she is. Let me tell you why. I was with Kim just by chance when we were backstage at a morning show, and she saw this report on the show.

She was visibly shocked when she found out 90 teens at one school were pregnant. Kim was really stunned, and I think she just reacted. It was just a gut reaction. It wasn`t a press release. She wasn`t trying to cause trouble. Somebody asked her about it, and she said it`s just a bad state of affairs we`re in, which I think we all agree with.

HAMMER: Yes. And I think you can almost say it might be apples and oranges. Certainly, that was not a great example to set by releasing a sex tape.

SHUTER: Right.

HAMMER: But this is a very serious issue. Now, despite the sex tape, Kim has obviously gone on to become extremely successful for a lot of right reasons, including the fact that - let`s face it, we don`t want to own up to it, but she works really hard at it.

Rachel, is teen mom, Amber, way out of line for calling Kim out?

ZALIS: No, I don`t think so. I mean, I think Kim made a good point. I think she`s the wrong person to make it. I mean, this was a woman who became famous because she made a sex tape.

And she is calling out the teen mom for being famous for being pregnant as teenagers. I`ve seen that show. I wouldn`t want to mess with those moms. I`m not sure why Kim does.

HAMMER: Yes. I mean, think about what happened. But to look at both of them here, Amber called Kim out, and yet Amber is somebody who beat up her boyfriend in front of her child and there were consequences.

So Rob, would you say and I`m guessing you`re going to side with Kim here that there is a role model in this war of words going on right here?

SHUTER: I think Kim would be the first to say she`s made mistakes. And I think Kim knows what she did is something she`s not proud of. She`s told her fans that it`s not behavior she believes in.

And I think once you`ve made a mistake, you can admit up to it and really move on. So I`m with Kim on this one. I think Kim is doing a great thing telling these teens having babies is really serious and it`s something they should think about.

HAMMER: Well, then, to step that forward as far as Kim admitting to her mistakes, do you think now she completely regrets the fact that that sex tape was out and wishes it had never happen?

SHUTER: Oh, she said so. Kim thinks that tape is the worst thing she`s ever done. It was totally embarrassing. She doesn`t want to talk about it. She wants to put it in her past. And now, Kim is trying really hard to be that role model. She knows she`s got a lot of young fans.

HAMMER: Well, she`s working hard at it and I wish her luck. Rob Shuter, Rachel Zalis, thank you both.

And let us now move from the "Teen Mom" smackdown to the most controversial mom in America. You know who I`m talking about. Octumom, caught on tape in a skin-tight dominatrix outfit whipping a man-baby. This is the most disturbing video I`ve ever seen.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TATTOO: Tattoo wants spanking! Tattoo wants spanking!

SULEMAN: One time. One time.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. I think I`m going to be sick. Today, the octumom may be regretting all of this, saying, "Oops, my bad." But are you buying it?

The octumom`s shocking behavior makes her a nominee for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s most provocative celebrity of the week. Also nominated, Howard Stern for calling Jay Leno a crook. Or will we name Ricky Gervais as an unapologetic, take-no-prisoners host of the Globes.

SHOWBIZ caught on tape. Sliding cars on ice gone wild. I dare you to look away.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JEANNE MOOS, CNN NATIONAL CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): This cocky pickup thought it could go where no one else was able to.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That`s not good. The most spectacular winter wipeout ever, coming up next. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Kim Kardashian`s brother, Rob, offered $45,000 to pose for "Playgirl." "Glee`s" Valentine`s Day show to feature love songs by Michael Jackson and Katy Perry.

HAMMER: Antoine Dodson`s "Bedroom Intruder" song is the most the most viewed YouTube video last year. And now, he`s reportedly getting his own reality TV show.

TMZ says Antoine`s show is about leaving the housing projects of Alabama behind and moving to the hills of Beverly. Well, not quite. He`s actually moving to West Hollywood. Antoine`s show does not have a name right now and it hasn`t been picked up by any network just yet.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with big news just in today - a golden confession.

The man with the golden voice, Ted Williams, has just admitted to Dr. Phil that he got drunk and high on Dr. Phil`s watch while he was getting set to go to rehab.

Just two weeks ago, Williams went from homeless and panhandling on the street to overnight YouTube sensation after a reporter posted a video of Ted and his golden voice online.

Last week, Ted Williams, who has a history of drug and alcohol abuse, told Dr. Phil he was willing to go to rehab to help get his life back in order. But he said he just needed a few days in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio before he went to rehab, you know, to see the grandkids.

Well, today SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you while Ted Williams was there, he says he not only drank. He smoked pot. This guy has been telling the entire world these been clean and sober for over two years and then he admitted that he had only been clean for one year, and now this.

I want to bring in actress, producer and activist Sheryl Lee Ralph.

Sheryl Lee, a lot of people are really mad and they kind of feel like they`ve been bamboozled by this guy. But I have to wonder, is it even fair to be mad at someone who is acting out like a classic addict in denial?

RALPH: It is absolutely wrong to be mad at this man. I often think to myself, how many times are we going to look at what is obviously someone who is mentally ill and start to call it what it is?

This man had issues long before he came to our television sets. And these issues and problems are not going to be cleared up in two weeks just because we want great TV.

HAMMER: Yes.

RALPH: You want to help him? Give him a year on Dr. Phil because he needs years of therapy to fix what`s gone wrong in his life.

HAMMER: That`s right. And while he hasn`t revealed to any kind of mental illness in his past, he certainly did cop to the fact he`s had a history with drug and alcohol abuse.

And Ted just spoke to Dr. Phil from rehab and he admitted that he got drunk and smoked pot just last week. But he tells Dr. Phil this, "I wasn`t staggering around in the hallways or anything or behaving badly. I was a little tipsy, a celebratory tipsy."

"I know that doesn`t make sense, but you`re probably waiting for me to say, `Yes, Dr. Phil, I got drunk.` I was really composed." You know, sadly, again, that`s really typical addict behavior.

Celebrity journalist, Ben Widdicombe, do you think that he can get his life together?

BEN WIDDICOMBE, CELEBRITY JOURNALIST: You know, I think he can. It`s been very difficult for him. Remember, this is not some Hollywood celebrity with a big public image and a PR team.

RALPH: Right.

WIDDICOMBE: It`s just him and he`s been taken from his situation literally living in a tent by the roadside and dropped into the national spotlight.

So I have a great deal of sympathy for him. I think it`s hard for him to tell his whole story all at once. And I hope he gets the help he needs.

HAMMER: Yes. I don`t think we have any place being mad at the guy. And again, hopefully, he is getting that much-needed help.

Let me move on right to more shocking developments just in today. This time, oh, yes - it`s with octumom, Nadya Suleman.

This just released naughty octumom fetish video that she said she made as a joke with a radio personality named Tattoo has a lot of people outraged and quite frankly, including myself, just disgusted with the whole thing.

Well, today Nadya now says she has big regrets about making this. Her lawyer tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - get ready for this - Nadya was tricked, tricked I tell you, into, well, dressing in a bustier and whipping that man-baby who is wearing a diaper.

Tricked? Sheryl Lee Ralph, does your heart just go out to the octumom for being so wrongly victimized here?

RALPH: Oh, she is such a victim. I feel so sorry for her. Girl, you need to get over yourself. You`ve got 14 kids and you need to figure out how to pay those bills and raise those children with something that they can look back and say, "Look at my mommy. She makes me proud," instead of "Who is that big 15th baby, Mommy?" Girl, wake up!

HAMMER: She`s trying to raise money by whipping the man-baby. I mean, I would have done the same thing.

RALPH: How many women - there are many women around this world with 20 kids not whipping man-babies.

HAMMER: Maybe a few people are whipping the man-babies. I don`t know. Take a look at what the octumom`s lawyer tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT about all this.

Now, first of all, he cleared himself. He said, "I personally had nothing to do with it and find it disgusting, unfunny, bizarre and just plain dumb."

"I believe Nadya was somewhat tricked into filming the video and I know, for certain, she no longer believes the video is worth a laugh and deeply regrets her actions." So there you have it. Ben, buying that?

WIDDICOMBE: You know, this thing here is just disturbing. No, I don`t buy it. It`s clearly something she did, presumably for the money. And what`s most disturbing about it is that she`s using her kids` toys. I hope she throws away some of those things after she used them. It`s disgusting.

HAMMER: Right. It`s creepy. I think she needs to boil everything at least. Well, it is because of that hideous video the octumom is now once again one of our nominees to be named SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s most provocative celebrity of the week.

Or will we name Howard Stern for calling Jay Leno insane and a crook when Howard appeared on CNN`s "PIERS MORGAN TONIGHT"? Or will it be Ricky Gervais for his brutal, take-no-prisoners and make-no-apologies Golden Globes hosting gig?

We asked to you text your vote and also to vote on the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook fan page.

Check this out. Ricky Gervais won the text vote with 49 percent. And on the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook fan page, the octumom won with 53 percent of the vote.

Out to you Sheryl Lee Ralph, who has your vote?

RALPH: I think it`s going to have to be Ricky Gervais. I mean, he went all the way out. When you say "take no prisoners" - oh!

HAMMER: All right. I don`t disagree. And by the way, I think he got a raw deal with how badly he got slammed all week long.

RALPH: I agree with you.

HAMMER: But the time has now come for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT to name the most provocative celebrity of the week. May have I that drum roll, please? The winner is - Ricky Gervais.

Sheryl Lee Ralph, you got it right. Ben Widdicombe, do you agree?

WIDDICOMBE: I was going to say Ricky Gervais until 2:00 this afternoon when I saw the octumom video. Then I changed my vote to her.

HAMMER: Yes. I can certainly understand that. I mean, you know, Howard Stern - I don`t blame him one bit for saying what he`s been saying all these years on the radio when he told Piers Morgan that he thought Leno was a crook and insane.

But Sheryl Lee Ralph, you know, octumom certainly a very close second.

RALPH: Yes. But Ricky - he was right on it, but the winner.

HAMMER: Yes. Let me tell you something. You`re always going to make our list if you`re whipping a man-baby. Ben Widdicombe, Sheryl Lee Ralph, thank you very much.

HAMMER: And apparently, I just can`t get enough of saying "man-baby."

Moving on to SHOWBIZ caught on tape. The most spectacular winter wipeouts ever - cars and trucks careening down the hill, totally out of control with only one way to stop, and it isn`t pretty.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Oh (EXPLETIVE DELETED) here comes another one. Oh, (EXPLETIVE DELETED).

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I promise you will not be able to look away. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views. Man-baby.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Paris Hilton`s boyfriend, Cy Waits, faces felony DUI charges after Las Vegas arrest. First Lady Michelle Obama to be on "Oprah" on Thursday.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Thursday, we asked you to vote in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll. Moments ago, we got the final results.

"American Idol Revamp: New judges J. Lo and Steven Tyler." Thirty- eight percent of you say they are so much better than Simon Cowell, but 62 percent of you say, "I miss Simon."

Well, everybody loves "Dancing with the Stars." How about the new YouTube sensation "Sliding with the Cars." Yes, today, SHOWBIZ caught on tape. We`re talking about the incredible can`t-take-your-eyes-off car crashes that happen when man tries to tango or, I should say, tangle with Mother Nature. Here`s the white-knuckled CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

JEANNE MOOS, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): It`s become almost a winter sport. No, not ice-skating. Car sliding, like this almost- choreographed ice dance down a hill in Spokane, Washington, or this pickup picking up speed, headed backwards in Colorado Springs.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Watch out, watch out.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Oh, my God.

MOOS: The pickup truck drivers who think they can beat any hill, no matter how icy. And now that everyone has a camera phone, like Liz Smith(ph), we`re all able to see the carnage.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: This sucks, dude. Look at your car. Is this your car?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: This is your car. Oh, my God.

MOOS: Ian shot pile-ups that damaged more than 20 vehicles.

IAN SMITH, AMATEUR VIDEOGRAPHER: It was really cool to see all the crashes. Thank God nobody got hurt. That`s the bad thing. It`s really cool.

MOOS: And it`s paid off for Ian. His video has attracted advertisers like Cheapo Auto Quotes for insurance. TV outlets have licensed his video. A tire company might use it in a commercial. What was the street called where all this happened?

SMITH: South Carefree and Powers.

MOOS (on camera): Carefree?

SMITH: Yes, Carefree.

MOOS (voice-over): Oh, it`s Carefree, all right.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Oh, my God!

MOOS: We thought we`d hand out some medals for some of the most nerve-racking slides.

(on camera) For the best spin we award the bronze medal to this pickup in Spokane.

(voice-over) Kind of reminds us of a spinning skater.

(on camera) For speed and elegance, we award the silver medal for this Jeep.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Oh, (EXPLETIVE DELETED). Here comes another one. Oh, (EXPLETIVE DELETED).

MOOS: For dumbest attempt and for striking more than one vehicle, the gold goes to -

(voice-over) This cocky pickup -

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Oh, damn.

MOOS: Who thought it could go where no one else was able to. But the truck didn`t stop there. It kept on sliding.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I tried to tell him. What an idiot.

MOOS: Did we mention the guy who shot this video performs hip-hop? This pickup was on its way, all right.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE (singing): I`m on my way.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: (EXPLETIVE DELETED). Damn it!
