THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL, HOST (voice-over): Tonight, breaking news: Charlie Sheen is raced to the hospital. Witnesses say the actor was taken from his home on a stretcher. Now his family`s by his bedside. Who else was seen leaving his home? And have Charlie`s hard-partying ways have finally caught up with him? We`ll have the latest.

Plus, a family`s desperate hope. A beautiful Michigan mom missing since Monday, but cops say they think she`s still alive. What do they know that they`re not telling us? Now it`s a race against time to find Amy Hensely (ph) before it`s too late. Could she have been kidnapped by someone she trusted? And why is her husband taking a polygraph?

And hot for students? Cops say they caught a Denver teacher and a 16- year-old boy naked in a car with alcohol. And why is the school saying there could be other victims? I`m taking your calls.

ISSUES starts now.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

CHARLIE SHEEN, ACTOR: If you`ve got expensive tastes, you`ve got to be prepared for expensive losses. So it is what it is. A guy has one bad night and everybody goes insane and panics, and you know, I`m not panicking.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Hmm. But others might be. Tonight breaking news: Charlie Sheen rushed to the hospital, reportedly with severe abdominal pains after a reported three-day party binge complete with porn stars. This time it`s nothing to shrug off like he did last November. You just heard him there on the TV show "Extra."

TMZ reporting now Charlie and an assortment of women were partying into the wee hours at his home last night and that neighbors could even hear them inside singing Red Hot Chili Peppers songs.

Then, at 6:45 this morning, an emergency call to 911, reportedly from Charlie`s home address. TMZ reports the "Two and a Half Men" star was loaded onto a stretcher at about 7 a.m., with a towel partially covering his face. At the same time he`s brought out. TMZ say two young women scamper out of the house.

Meantime, TMZ claiming one of the women partying with the almost $2 million-an-episode star, 22-year-old porn star Kacey Jordan. She was reportedly contacted by a third person on Charlie`s behalf because he was a fan of hers. TMZ says that when Jordan showed up at Charlie`s party pad, there were already four other women there and that his shirt was stained with wine.

Now, as we all know, this is the second emergency trip for Charlie Sheen in three months. There was that infamous blowout, meltdown, whatever you want to call it at New York`s Plaza Hotel three months ago, when he reportedly trashed his room and had yet another porn star cowering in fear.

Now, cops did not arrest him then, the way they would most of us. Instead they took him to a New York hospital. After that debacle, just a couple of weeks ago, Radar Online reported claims that Charlie went on a drug, booze and porn star bender in Las Vegas.

What do you make of Charlie Sheen`s latest drama? I`m taking your calls: 1-877-JVM-SAYS. That`s 586-7297.

Straight out to entertainment correspondent for CNN Kareen Wynter, who is live on the ground outside Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. That is precisely where Charlie Sheen is reportedly hospitalized right now as we speak.

Kareen, Charlie`s parents and his ex-wife, Denise Richards, reportedly converged on Charlie`s bedside. What is the very latest in this breaking news story?

KAREEN WYNTER, CNN CORRESPONDENT: One can only imagine, Jane, what went down inside Charlie Sheen`s home early this morning. What could have sent the actor to the hospital?

You know, that incident that you alluded that happened in October at that very, very swanky upscale New York hotel. You know, at that time, they said that Charlie Sheen had some sort of allergic reaction to medication. And you can only wonder what happened this time around. Was that another scenario? Could it have been drugs? Could it have been alcohol? We just don`t know.

And, Jane, you`ve worked stories out there in L.A. so many times in your career. You know how difficult it is penetrating this hospital, Cedars-Sinai behind me. It`s really the hospital to the stars so they`re like Teflon.

They first of all, won`t even confirm if Charlie Sheen is there, if he is in fact receiving treatment, never mind what his condition is.

But Los Angeles Fire, the fire department did confirm with us earlier today saying that they responded to a call at a home. We believe it was Charlie Sheen`s home address. And that it was a medical run. There was a truck that was dispatched to the scene that transported one individual to a hospital. Again, we believe that it is Cedars-Sinai. And...

VELEZ-MITCHELL: I`m sure you`re there with a bunch of paparazzi there, as well, right? I mean, I`m sure you`re not the only reporter there. I`m sure there`s tons of reporters.

WYNTER: And you know what happens on a story like this? Security has been trying to kick us out left and right. There`s media descending on the other side. We`re here. But again, they`re not releasing any information, but again, it just sounds like this -- this latest scenario, Charlie Sheen got himself into...

VELEZ-MITCHELL: How serious is it?

WYNTER: We`re really curious into what condition. We don`t know.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: All right. Yes, yes. I want to -- I want to get into this. I want to get into this. As a recovering alcohol, Kareen and the rest of our panel, I will hopefully celebrate 16 years sober come April 1. Knock on -- is there wood around here? I know addiction.

I predicted this would happen just a couple of weeks ago here on ISSUES after Charlie Sheen`s last bender in Las Vegas. Listen to what I said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: I`ve got a warning for Charlie Sheen, because I am a recovering alcoholic. Eventually, the rubber hits the road, the you know what hits the fan, and something really bad happens.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Charlie Sheen first talked about battling substance abuse 21 years ago. He has been to rehab four times. Not that means he should not be using any mood-altering drugs or alcohol. Now that means ever.

Here`s my big issue. As Teflon Charlie finally melted, people have enabled him for years, repeating the whole "it`s no big deal" excuse. They say, hey, he shows up for work on time. But guess what, people? That`s not the only definition of a functional life.

Last Christmas, Charlie`s estranged wife, Brooke Mueller, accused him of holding a knife to her throat and threatening to kill her. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault. Ex-wife Denise Richards before that publicly accused him of inappropriate behavior involving drugs, alcohol and prostitutes.

This guy has five kids, including two young twin boys.

Dr. Reef Karim, addiction specialist, this is officially out of control. But what can we do with somebody like Charlie Sheen? What will work when four rehabs haven`t?

DR. REEF KARIM, ADDICTION SPECIALIST: Well, you know, one of the things that we talked about all the time is that you can be out of control but be functional -- and that`s what we`ve seen in this case -- for a long time. But eventually, as you said, there`s going to be either a medical consequence, a legal consequence or a financial consequence, and we`re seeing medical up front now.

You can`t party at the age of 45, 46 like you do at 25. Your body does not respond the same way. Cocaine, acute cocaine intoxication or withdrawal can lead to abdominal pain. So we don`t know where the abdominal pain is coming from. It might be speculation on a lot of different things. But drugs are definitely in play in regards to where these symptoms came from. So taxing the body at that age is really a problem that`s going to catch up to you.

And like you said, you can be functional, get by, be on a hit TV show, but then where does that put you in regards to being a father, being a husband, being a care giver, all those other things that you do in your life?

When somebody fails rehab over and over and over, eventually there`s going to be a bad consequence that puts them into a mind state where they will be motivated for treatment. And let`s hope this is the thing that did it for him.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Now, porn stars are playing again a starring role in this latest Charlie Sheen health care/scandal. TMZ reporting Charlie was a fan of 22-year-old porn star Kacey Jordan and actually requested that she join the party through a third party. TMZ says Kacey showed up Tuesday night. That`s two days ago, people. And when she left Wednesday, Charlie was still partying.

Now, Radar Online is reporting a second porn star, Melanie Rios, who`s 19 is telling friends that she was with Charlie at the time the 911 call was made early this morning. Melanie`s modeling agency reportedly listed her as being available for whatever. I`m not going to even go there right now.

Here`s my question. Debra Opri, defense attorney, we have all covered so many of these crises with stars. My -- my personal opinion is that Charlie is triply addicted. He almost O.D.-ed on drugs in 1998. He admitted to being one of Heidi Fleiss, the Hollywood Madam`s, clients back in 1995. So I personally feel he`s addicted -- addicted to alcohol, drugs and sex. That`s a triple threat, Debra.

DEBRA OPRI, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: You`ve got your book "Addiction." People should read it. I`m going to ask you for an autographed copy, please. But as far as Charlie goes, somebody has to give him the motivation to get help, because it`s not working.

Maybe a family law court judge, because there are custody issues outstanding with his prior divorce matters. Maybe a family law judge should order him to have an evaluation, find out what`s going on with him, and stop custody and visitation until he gets it (UNINTELLIGIBLE). Somebody`s got to take control.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes, well, you know what? They had him. They had him in New York, when they could have charged him and they didn`t. They said, "Sir, would you care to go to the hospital or the doctor? Or jail?"

OPRI: Jane, you`re in California.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: And he says the hospital.

OPRI: No. One of his ex-wives, let`s go to today. One of his ex- wives, whatever it is, custody and visitation with any of these children, that ex-wife, mother, can go into court and say, "I want you to order an evaluation, a 730. I want to know what`s going on with him, with drugs, alcohol or anything else." And that includes sex addiction, to the point where it will stop custody until he fulfills his requirements. And I think that`s the best way for a mother to go at this point.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: All right. Yes. I think it`s got to be a legal thing. I don`t think he`s just going to Kumbaya, see the light. Although I hope I`m wrong. I want to be wrong.

All right. More on Charlie Sheen in just a bit. Brooke Anderson, "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT" host, is going to answer some of your questions in a moment. We`re taking your calls: 1-877-JVM-SAYS.

Also later, cops say they caught a female teacher naked with a 16- year-old male student who was also naked, and they had booze on them. Why is the school saying there could be more victims?

But first, what happened to Charlie Sheen?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: One great thing about Charlie is everything he`s ever done bad, he`s admitted that he`s had substance abuse problems. He`s admitted that he likes to pay talent, so to say.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

NATALIE THOMAS, "US WEEKLY" MAGAZINE: Charlie has a very good record of work, believe it or not. You know, he goes on these crazy benders, and then he shows up, and he is the consummate professional. He nails his lines, and that`s part of the reason, you know. We know that addicts have this denial aspect, and that`s going to fuel that. You know, he can say, "Look, here I am. I`m showing up. I`m doing what I -- you know, I need to be doing, and I`m doing it well. And I`m fine."

(END VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Charlie Sheen rushed to the hospital early this morning with reportedly severe abdominal pain. This after he, according to published reports, partied with porn stars over the course of three days.

Listen to what his co-star, Jon Cryer, said on Conan O`Brien`s show.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JON CRYER, ACTOR: I`m checking TMZ, as I do every day, to know if I have to go to work at all. And -- and he said, "Well" -- I said, "How are you doing, man?"

He said, "I`m doing OK, except that somebody stole my car and ran it off a cliff last night." And normally, you would not believe that...

CONAN O`BRIEN, HOST, TBS`S "CONAN": Yes.

CRYER: ... from somebody.

O`BRIEN: That just sounds like such a -- yes.

CRYER: But from Charlie Sheen, you believe that, because that happened to him.

O`BRIEN: It did happen.

CRYER: Twice.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT" host Brooke Anderson, what is Jon Cryer saying between the lines there?

BROOKE ANDERSON, HOST, "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT": I think he`s saying that Charlie Sheen has problems and has issues, but he was doing it in the kindest way he knew how and trying to be funny at the same time.

And we`ve addressed the fact that, yes, Charlie Sheen continues, despite his personal questionable behavior, to show up on set and to read his lines and to be functioning on set and to do what he`s supposed to do for "Two and a Half Men."

But recently, Jane, the president of CBS publicly said -- and this was the first time anyone in his circle in a long time has actually said, "Yes, we have concerns for Charlie Sheen on a personal level. He is a father; he has young children. Yes, we have concerns, but the job is still being done."

The TV show, which by the way, brings in about 15 million viewers every week. It`s still a hit, so they are proceeding as planned. And Jane, until something really devastating happens, that`s probably not going to change, because...

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes, money talks.

B. ANDERSON: ... money is the bread and butter not for himself but for hundreds of people.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Money talks.

Denise, Florida, your question or thought, ma`am. Hey, Denise?

CALLER: Hello.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Hi there.

CALLER: Hi.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Hi. Your question or thought?

CALLER: My question is I`m a big supporter of families, and I feel very badly for his family over and over again, including his wife and his children. And so this is just the perfect example of one person bringing down a whole bunch of people.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Absolutely. And Charlie is no different from other Hollywood stars with addiction who have challenged their families.

We remember Britney Spears. She had her infamous meltdown back in 2007. She had to be committed under a 5150 involuntary psychiatric hold. Her dad was put in charge of her finances. And he`s still in charge of her finances.

And then, of course, Lindsay Lohan in and out of rehab. Boy, her dad, Michael Lohan, begging, begging for her to get sober. And hopefully, now that she`s finally gone through Betty Ford and is out, maybe she`ll stay sober. We hope so.

Kim Serafin, as long as his show is a hit and the network puts up with his behavior, is that going to be the predictor of his behavior, that he will continue because he can?

KIM SERAFIN: I think that`s a big part of it. You mentioned Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan. We watched as everything was happening with them. But we also saw their careers take a big dive. We saw repercussions. We`re not really seeing that with Charlie Sheen at all. Even when the president or the entertainment chief over at CBS made these comments, Charlie`s lawyer responded and said he has -- Charlie has honored all of his contractual obligations. He has shown up for work on time every day. He`s not only just functioning; he`s actually doing well. They`re paying him almost $2 million an episode. He`s -- the ratings are great.

After the incident with his ex-wife, Brooke, over Christmas last year, the ratings on his show went up after that. It just seems like he is Teflon. I know we say this over and over again. But it doesn`t seem like there`s any repercussions. Because after this happens, he goes back to work and he jokes about it on TMZ.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes, and it`s important to note that this is the third reported meltdown in the last few months. In October, at New York`s Plaza Hotel, he reportedly trashed his room and caused porn star companion Capri Anderson to cower half naked in the closet in fear because she claims he was throwing lamps at her. Let`s listen to Capri talk about that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Do you think Charlie should maybe check into some rehab? Does he need it?

CAPRI ANDERSON, ADULT FILM STAR: I agree. That would be the best bet for Charlie.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You think?

C. ANDERSON: I would say so.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Do you have any comments to make on Charlie`s latest bender in Las Vegas?

C. ANDERSON: What do you think about Charlie Sheen? Tell the girls to watch out for any lamps flying through the air.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: All right, Brooke, your reaction?

B. ANDERSON: Well, Jane, I actually just wanted to tell you that I`m in communication with Charlie Sheen`s publicist, and he just let me know that Charlie is in stable condition in the hospital. I know we had heard reports otherwise, but I am being told that he is currently stable in the hospital. We have heard reports that family members are there with him, including his dad, Martin Sheen, including his ex-wife Denise Richards.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: You heard it here first. Stay with us.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

YALE GALANTER, ATTORNEY: There are these rumors that Charlie had cocaine all over his face.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Right.

GALANTER: Now can you imagine law enforcement officers introducing themselves to Charlie Sheen and seeing coke on his face and not arresting him?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: That was Charlie Sheen`s lawyer explaining what he says didn`t happen at New York`s Plaza Hotel. But to answer your question, Yale, yes, I can. Because the law enforcement community does not treat stars the way they treat the rest of us.

Brooke Anderson, you`ve got breaking new, just in to ISSUES. Tell us.

B. ANDERSON: Hi there, Jane. Yes, Charlie Sheen`s representative just told me that he is in stable condition in the hospital. I asked him which hospital? Because right now he is reportedly at Cedars-Sinai Hospital, but that`s unconfirmed through his representatives. And they told me that he never comments on location, and of course, that is understandable, because he wants to protect the privacy as much as he can of his client.

But at this point, Charlie Sheen, according to his representative, is in stable condition.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes, you might say that Charlie Sheen is on location, but I don`t want to make light of this, because it could be very serious. Even though you are saying he is in stable condition.

Dr. Reef Karim, that doesn`t say a lot. From the many reports that I`ve read over the years, stable can mean anything.

KARIM: Yes, stable can mean all sorts of things. It doesn`t give us really any indication of what`s going on. This whole thing does not surprise me. As you said, it`s one of those things where he`s defying the odds, and the odds, as in Vegas and any other place, are going to catch up to you.

Eventually it`s going to be taxing on the body enough that you have some kind of medical complications. And whether this is direct medical confrontation of the drug use or it`s just the body eventually, like, breaking down because of all of the partying and all of the drug use that you have.

Either way, it`s another signal. It`s another sign. It`s another warning saying stop doing what you`re doing. You`re out of control. And you can -- I bet you...

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes. Kareen Wynter, jump in please.

OPRI: This is Debra Opri. Jane, very honestly, Sheen is to the report back to work on Monday. His hiatus is over. Time will tell. We will know on Monday how serious this episode was.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, hold on a second. Kareen Wynter, how long -- you`ve been tracking this -- is he on hiatus just until Monday?

WYNTER: Yes, just for the week. We were able to confirm with his production company. So he could be back to work next week.

And this is what really boggles my mind. Talk about an actor who`s been to the well one too many times. Charlie Sheen doesn`t have nine lives. He has 90 lives. If he is, in fact, in stable condition and he`s going to pull through, you know what? It`s going to be like another badge of honor that he`s wearing now. "Look at me, I`m Teflon. I`m a Superman." And he`s going to have more legions of fans. And this is going to really continue. Where does it end, Jane?

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes. And to that point, here`s a little clue on attitude.

Radar Online reported porn star Kacey Jordan, who was hanging out at Charlie`s mansion, reportedly, as early as yesterday afternoon, tweeted a photo that`s apparently so racy we can`t show it to you. But from Charlie`s mansion she also tweeted, quote, "It`s officially 24 hours of drinking, he he." And then this next one will give you inside, as well. She then reportedly tweets before coming to Charlie`s house, "Rehab is for schmucks" -- can I say that? -- "and AA is for quitters."

Brooks, one last comment.

ANDERSON: Yes, Jane. There`s another TMZ report that says that Charlie was treated for a hernia in his stomach. That is unconfirmed, of course. Everyone is protecting patient, protecting client. So that`s unconfirmed. We`re going to...

VELEZ-MITCHELL: More in a moment.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: A family`s desperate hunt, a beautiful Michigan mom missing since Monday, but cops say they think she`s still alive. What do they know that they`re not telling us? Now it`s a race against time to find Amy Henslee before it`s too late. Could she have been kidnapped by someone she trusted? And why is her husband taking a polygraph?

And hot for students: cops say they caught a Denver teacher and a 16- year-old boy naked in a car with alcohol. And why is the school saying there could be other victims? I`m taking your calls.

But first, we have breaking news in to ISSUES: new information coming in about why Charlie Sheen was rushed to the hospital early this morning after a party that reportedly began on Tuesday, went into Wednesday and all the way up through the wee hours of Thursday morning, that is this morning.

Straight out to Brooke Anderson, "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT" anchor who is tracking all this breaking information. What is the very latest, Brooke?

BROOKE ANDERSON, HLN HOST, "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT": Well, Charlie Sheen`s representative tells me that Charlie is in stable condition at the hospital. He`s reportedly at Cedars Sinai Hospital though that is unconfirmed and his representative will not comment on his location.

A TMZ report has just crossed that Charlie is being treated for a hernia in his stomach and his representative did tell us that he was suffering from severe abdominal pains, but at this point, he`s in stable condition and we will continue to dig deeper and bring you the very latest as we have it.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Thank you so much, Brooke, for that excellent report and we`re going to stay on top of that case here on ISSUES.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DETECTIVE BILL LUX, SHERIFF`S INVESTIGATOR: Someone knows something. It`s very obvious that she left the house, took her coat and shoes and someone knows something.

According to her husband, she never goes for walks, she`s afraid to open the door if a stranger comes to the door. She won`t do that if it`s not somebody that she knows.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: And tonight we have got breaking news just in, in another story, this one a horrific story, HLN affiliate WZZM reporting now that investigators have found a pool of blood in a trailer home belonging to a relative of missing Michigan mother Amy Henslee.

Thirty-year-old Amy, a mother of two, there she is, vanished from home after putting her two kids on the bus. Look at this beautiful young lady. She has nothing with her, no purse, no wallet, no phone. But she did lock the door behind her prompting cops to say she may have left the home with someone she knew.

Well, tonight, here`s the breaking news just in. Search dogs have traced Amy`s sent from her home to a relative`s nearby trailer where they have reportedly discovered a large amount of blood. You are looking -- in a second, there it is, at the street where we think police made this gruesome discovery.

The trailer is in the back of a heavily-wooded property is owned by Amy`s husband`s male cousin -- Amy`s husband`s male cousin. Amy`s husband is not a suspect. He even offered to take a polygraph test.

Listen to this from CBS`s "The Early Show".

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JAMES HENSLEE, AMY`S HUSBAND: Just hoping things get better, detectives finally said they have a lead and they think it`s a good one, but that`s all the information I have. And so hopefully it follows through and something for the good happens because I haven`t had any good news.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: That`s the husband of the missing woman. Now we`re reporting tonight police have just found large quantities of blood both inside and outside the trailer of the husband`s male cousin. They`re not sure if it`s animal or human because the trailer seems to have been used for hunting animals.

According to our affiliate, that cousin has now been taken in for questioning, and he was allegedly -- allegedly, according to this affiliate -- spotted at Amy`s home the day she went missing. This is crucial, big, big news.

Can police find this mother of two alive before -- let`s hope not, but we have to ask -- it is too late. Call me, 1-877-JVM-SAYS.

Straight out to Mike Brooks, HLN law enforcement analyst; I know you`ve been tracking this case. Wow, this is big news breaking. Tell us the significance.

MIKE BROOKS, HLN LAW ENFORCEMENT ANALYST: Well, I tell you what, Jane, this blood, they should be able to tell right there on the scene, all you need is a little kit. I used to carry one in my cruiser when I was on the FBI general (ph) response team. They can tell right then and there whether it is animal or human blood.

But again, they`re not going to say right now. I think they`re holding their cards very close to the vest.

But apparently a vehicle was seen right around the time she disappeared from her home, a vehicle was seen nearby there and apparently it was her husband`s cousin. And we`re not talking about a neighborhood here, this is a very rural area, Jane. And if in fact it is true about the scent evidence of the dogs leading from her house to his house, not looking good.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: It doesn`t look good, especially with all that blood. Now there was no sign of forced industry at the home. It was locked from the outside. Police Amy may have answered the door and oh, recognized somebody and left with somebody she knew.

Listen to this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LUX: She doesn`t go for jogs, she doesn`t exercise. Therefore common sense tells you that if she left with her coat and with her shoes, and went outside and went with someone, she obviously didn`t go for a walk, according to the information we have got, she didn`t go for a jog, because she never does those things, that she left with someone, possibly.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Police have now named this property-owned -- reportedly, anyway -- by Amy`s husband`s male cousin as an active crime scene, another ominous indicator. Now, this trailer -- this is a Google ground view -- this trailer deep in this wooded area in the back of this cousin`s property.

Casey Jordan, criminologist, even if this is animal blood because there`s hunting going on in this area, why would the canines looking for Amy trace her scent back to this remote trailer?

CASEY JORDAN, CRIMINOLOGIST: Well, they wouldn`t and the police would not be calling it a crime scene if it were just animal blood.

This is quite a turn of events because until a few hours ago, the police said there`s no evidence whatsoever of foul play. But we do know that the cousin, the blood hounds had traced her scent to this trailer earlier. And apparently I heard gone crazy when they got to that trailer.

This is what we really know about these really bizarre disappearances -- 90 percent of the time, the ruse or the con or the reason for the person leaving the house is because they trust the person who lures them outside, they know that person. And really the cousin is perhaps one of the few people that would make her leave without her purse. Whatever story he told that might make her get into the car with him that is just what we know about these sorts of things.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Amy`s friends are pleading for her safe return. Listen to this from the CBS "Early Show".

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WENDY BOYD, FRIEND OF MISSING AMY HENSLEE: First I want to talk to Amy. Amy, if you are anywhere that can see a television, we will not stop searching for you. We are dedicating our time and effort only to find you, Amy. Call us. Call me, call the authorities.

And to whoever may have you, Amy, please, let her come home. She has two boys and a husband that love her very much.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: And tonight, just in, breaking news, local affiliate reporting that authorities have targeted this remote trailer in a wooded area, there is blood, lots of it. They have declared it a crime scene, it is owned by the male cousin of the husband of a missing woman.

Mike Brooks, you have covered so many of these cases, we don`t want to jump to any kind of conclusions. We invite anybody involve even remotely in this case to tell their side.

But sometimes people can develop, hypothetically speaking, an obsession with somebody and it can be a secret obsession and it can be something that they, especially if they`re disturbed in some way, feel a need to carry out and if they`re rebuffed, they can become angry.

BROOKS: Oh, absolutely, we see it all the time, Jane, and you know, Casey, she sees it, too. But the circumstances here, they just don`t add up. She wasn`t home like she normally is; when the two boys ages 8 and 10 got home, she wasn`t there. And that`s what seemed very unusual to her husband.

And again I want to state that her husband is not being looked at, at all having any involvement in this right now. He even offered to have to take a polygraph. But the major case task force which includes the FBI and the FBI evidence response team, they are also working on this, so I`m sure they`re there at what is now being considered a crime scene, Jane.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Barbara, Georgia, your question or thought, ma`am.

BARBARA, GEORGIA (via telephone): Actually I guess my question was answered. I was just trying to find out if the authorities had says looked or if there`s any record of domestic violence or any domestic situation in the home?

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, apparently, what we`re hearing is that this husband is not a suspect.

And Casey Jordan, now that police have gone to the husband`s male cousin`s trailer and there`s blood there, what are the emotions that are likely running through this poor husband who went off to work, leaving his beautiful wife safe and sound, only to come home and find her gone and now to hear that the cousin -- his own cousin -- his trailer has become a crime scene?

JORDAN: Jane, in the clip you just showed, where her friend was beseeching anyone with information to come forward you saw her husband. And you saw that he was stoic but numb. He is in complete disbelief, the range of emotions, the desperation, the panic, but also that need to stay calm because the husband knows he`s a suspect. He`s cooperated. He offered to take a polygraph. He wants to get himself excluded so they can move on to find out who did this to his wife.

All right. Coming up, the alleged teen sex slave`s mom speaking out about her daughter`s time chained to a toilet in a house of horrors.

Plus a female teacher does the unthinkable. Cops say they found her and a student naked --

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: One less applicant for "Teacher of the Year". That story in a bit but first "Top of the Block" tonight.

Tonight the mother of the alleged teen sex slave in Detroit speaks out. She`s providing shocking details about the terrifying kidnapping and rape of her brave daughter. The mom that just hours before LaMarsh Moore went on a shooting rampage at a police precinct, her daughter who`s double jointed managed to wriggle free and escape.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Little hands came right over with handcuffs, she got her feet move and if it wasn`t for that, she might not be here. I`m like, yes, that sick SOB didn`t count on you being double jointed.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: In a new twist, the dead suspect`s fiance is defending him. She says the sexual assault on the child never happened. So is this is a case of well, love is blind; or is she trying to protect herself from being called an accomplice. We don`t know.

But that is tonight`s "Top of the Block".

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Why don`t you say something that`s (INAUDIBLE) who you are. You don`t want to say anything? Do you feel sorry for the child at least? Courtney? Do you feel sorry for this child?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Do you want to say anything?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Courtney? Courtney? Isn`t talking. She is a high school teacher, the child in question, a 16-year-old boy. Courtney Bowles accused of having sex with a student in the backseat of her car and giving him booze.

Now the principal of the school is now telling parents there could be more victims. Police in Colorado noticed the suspect`s car at a park late Friday night. And when the officer went to check things out, she got a shock. Quote, "a fully naked male and a fully naked female".

The officer said the woman quickly jumped off the male when she saw my flashlight shining into the vehicle. Police say the boy initially lied and told them he was 20 years old. But when asked for his ID, he whips out his high school student ID card which revealed he is just 16 years old, a minor. He also admitted to cops that he and Courtney, a teacher, have been having sex for about 10 minutes before the officer got there.

Police found a bottle of Vodka and some Sprite in the car but Courtney insisted the boy had only had a sip. The 31-year-old Courtney is married with two children of her own. Boy, I feel sorry those kids tonight.

Will she lose her kids over this? And why is the principal concerned that there could be more victims?

Straight out to my dear friend, defense attorney Anne Bremner. And Anne is famous for successfully defending police in the Mary Kay Letourneau civil trial. Of course, that`s a famous case, a similar case where a teacher had sex with a student.

ANNE BREMNER, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Yes.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: What was your reaction when you heard about these wild charges?

BREMNER: Well, it`s great to be on with you again Jane, my dear friend, and all the time we spent together I missed. I hope to see you again soon.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes.

BREMNER: And you know, to me it was like deja vu all over again. It was so much like Mary Kay Letourneau even in this prohibition from seeing her own kids. That happened to Mary Kay Letourneau`s case. That got struck down by the courts on appeal.

These kind of cases where they say these women are predators. I don`t know. They usually have one victim. They usually say they`re in love. They usually -- the women get -- the men are demonized, the women are diagnosed. I mean these cases are very, very strange. But deja vu all over again because it`s so much like Mary Letourneau. And you wait, she`ll come and say, you know, we had something special together. This is not some predator. At least I don`t think yet.

(CROSSTALK)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes. And Mary Kay Letourneau, if I remember correctly, was also in the car, that`s where she was caught in the car.

BREMNER: She was.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes. She was caught in a car.

BREMNER: Yes.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Tell me about that.

BREMNER: Yes. They`re so similar in so many ways. I mean with the windows fogged up and everything else.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Oh, ouch. Could the suspect have used booze to help ply her alleged victim? Maybe she brought it so he would think she was cool. Or could she simply have been -- well, could she have a drinking problem, if she`s an alcoholic that could certainly explain her enormous lapse in judgment -- allegedly.

Listen, she hasn`t been convicted yet. We don`t want to convict anybody and we invite her and her attorney to come on at any time to tell their side of the story.

But Michelle Ward, everybody`s wondering why would a 31-year-old married mother have sex with a 16-year-old boy?

MICHELLE WARD, PSYCHOLOGIST: You know one thing you see with these women over and over again is a severe immaturity. I don`t know if it`s an attachment to the ultimate guy they can`t have, or somehow they get deluded into thinking they are part of that high school culture. But these women are very immature and are often a bit delusional and think that they`re actually having a love affair with these young children.

And you know what? The perception of a female sex predator is far different than a male sex predator. I mean there are boys and men who will high-five this teenage kid for what happened.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Now, when asked in court if she had anything to say, Courtney Bowles simply replied, "I`m sorry." First of all I want to know, is that an admission of guilt?

Now, when Mary Kay Letourneau was accused of raping a student -- and we`ll find out what relationship transpired with her and the student -- Mary Kay Letourneau made this emotional confession in court. Check this out.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MARY KAY LETOURNEAU, CONVICTED TEACHER: I am sorry. I give you my word that it will not happen again. Please help me. Help us all.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: But Anne Bremner, it did happen again.

BREMNER: Oh, it did.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: And what extraordinary thing happened between Mary Kay Letourneau and the boy that she had sex with in that car.

BREMNER: Yes. They ended up together again in a car and she got pregnant again. She had two children with Billy when he was 13 years old. And she promised that she would never do it again. She did it again. She served seven years in prison. We know how the story ends, they`re married.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: They got married.

DEBRA OPRI, FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY: Can I say something here Jane?

(CROSSTALK)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes. Debra Opri --

OPRI: Ok. Jane, if you look at the current Denver teacher, the things that concern me are two-fold. First, when the principal comes out and says there may be other instances, that is troubling to me because, you know, she may be heading into a criminal situation. Mary Letourneau is maybe different.

The second thing that bothers me is she`s got two minor children. She`s headed to a family law court where she will lose custody because her self-esteem problems, whatever emotional problems she has, she`s going to wind up in two jurisdictions --

VELEZ-MITCHELL: I don`t know if they should take it out on the kids. The kids are innocent. And they want their mother.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Your picture`s going to be on it. Wouldn`t you rather say something? You want to say anything. Courtney, can you tell us about the student at least?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Courtney? Courtney? Courtney is not talking. She`s a trusted teacher and a mother of two, allegedly, busted in the back seat of a car, with a 16-year-old boy. They were both naked, say cops. What in the world was she thinking?

Tracey, Colorado, your question or thought, ma`am?

TRACEY, COLORADO (via telephone): Yes. Hi, Jane.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Hi.

TRACEY: I was just calling to say, is she allowed to be around her own kids since they have said that she cannot be around anyone under the age of 18, and has any other children come forward? Or is her husband supporting her or, you know, backing her up on this?

VELEZ-MITCHELL: She is not allowed to be with her own kids. And I think more is going to be revealed, because the school is saying, could there be other -- other -- students.

Now, here`s my big issue. Are we still dealing with that old double standard? I mean if this were a guy teacher and a teenage girl, would we be using the words like sicko and pervert?

There`s no better example of this gender double standard than the infamous Debra Lafave case. Here`s her attorney back in 2005. Listen to this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JOHN FITZGIBBONS, DEBRA LAFAVE`S ATTORNEY: Placing an attractive young woman in that kind of hell hole is like putting a piece of raw meat in with the lions. I`m not sure that Debbie would be able to survive.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes, see this beautiful woman? She pleaded guilty to statutory rape of a 14-year-old student. And there were no shortage of guys saying, oh, wow, I wish I had a teacher like that when I was in school. This kid is the luckiest kid on earth.

And I feel, Michelle Ward, psychologist, that that is really a double standard. And I wonder if it`s going to apply in this case.

WARD: It`s absolutely a double standard. And since when do looks have anything to do with somebody`s sentence. I mean that`s bizarre. It`s a double standard.

(CROSSTALK)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: It`s crazy.

WARD: You know, you better be born pretty so you don`t ever go to jail. No, it`s ridiculous. And what`s also ridiculous is it is a double standard. I`ve heard people talking about it today. They`re like, oh, well, she`s pretty too. And I`m sure the student didn`t mind. It doesn`t matter if the student minded, it`s illegal, it`s wrong. He`s a child.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Here`s my theory about why these women -- again she hasn`t been convicted. I want to hear her side. Tell it. Talk to me, Courtney.

WARD: Start talking.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: But here`s my theory. I feel that these women get married and they have children. And their marriage is not as sexually charged perhaps as it has been in the past. And this is hypothetical. I`m not talking about anybody in particular, in general. And then these teachers are at school and there are these strapping young, very hormonal boys who flirt with them, and give them attention.

And it can be seductive, Anne Bremner. You covered a case involving Mary Kay Letourneau. Does my hypothesis have any validity?

BREMNER: Absolutely. And I think there`s also (INAUDIBLE) arrested development. And there`s those mores we have, hot for teachers, summer of `42. Homework was never like this.

All of those kinds of things kind of play into this too in making it a little more ok. And you know, Mary Kay Letourneau said Billy was a genius, that he was the smartest person in the world. She was the second smartest and she said she was the Joan of Arc of forbidden love.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Grandiosity.

(CROSSTALK)

BREMNER: That people were jealous of the love they had. Right but it was so special.

(CROSSTALK)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Thank you, fabulous panel.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Thanks to you at home for joining in our debate. We`ve been talking about addiction. And it`s not just alcohol, drugs and sex.
