Hi, there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today -- the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Charlie Sheen exclusive making headlines around the world.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is bringing you more brand-new revelations today from the reality show doctor who helped get Charlie Sheen to the hospital and snuck him out of it following Sheen`s alleged porn star and drug bender.

Dr. Paul Nassif who stars with his wife, Adrienne Maloof, on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" revealed all to me, including whether he has ever seen Charlie Sheen out of sorts.

Dr. Nassif is the guy who called 911 that night to get Charlie to the hospital. And late this afternoon, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained that 911 call. Listen.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

NASSIF: Yes. Hi, my name is Dr. Nassif. I just got a call from the residence of Charlie Sheen, from his secretary. Apparently, what she`s saying is he`s intoxicated.

911 OPERATOR: All right.

NASSIF: And he`s saying "Don`t call 911." She got him on the phone, and he`s very, very intoxicated. Also, apparently in a lot of pain. It`s kind of weird, the phone call I received. Did they call, by the way?

911 OPERATOR: No, not yet, sir.

NASSIF: These people are like afraid to call.

ANDERSON: I want to bring in HLN`s own Jane Velez-Mitchell, host of "ISSUES WITH JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL" and also the author of this great new book, "Addict Nation." Jane, in Dr. Nassif`s 911 call, he says Charlie is, quote, "very, very intoxicated."

But in my worldwide exclusive interview with Dr. Nassif just yesterday that I did with him, he said that he could not tell if Charlie was under the influence the morning he called 911. Listen.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

(on camera) How did he sound?

NASSIF: Well, when I spoke to Charlie, he sounded like he was in a lot of pain -- severe pain.

ANDERSON: Did he sound in pain and inebriated? Or could you tell?

NASSIF: I couldn`t tell if he`s inebriated. You know, I only spoke to him for a very brief moment because as soon as I heard him say he`s in a lot of pain, I wanted to get on the phone with the assistant so we could just immediately dial 911.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: OK. I reached out today to Dr. Nassif for his clarification on his contradiction. Jane, I spoke to him right before we came on, right before the show. And he said, bottom line, he was trying to protect his friend.

JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL, HOST, "ISSUES WITH JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL": Exactly.

ANDERSON: When he was on the 911 call, he was, as a doctor, trying to provide all the information necessary for the paramedics to help Charlie.

Jane, to me that seems to be a natural response for a friend who is talking about Charlie having issues. It seems to be a natural response to me, and I buy it, but do you buy it?

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Look, addicts put their friends and their neighbors -- and he is both -- into terrible jams, OK? They are always crossing boundaries. They are always getting into trouble.

And the friends and the neighbors who are in a position of either sort of outing them for their bad behavior or trying to protect them and maybe fudging a little bit.

And this is why it is so hard to interact with an addict. Sometimes, you just have to leave them alone because they`re impossible to deal with. Addicts lie. And addicts then kind of put their friends in a position of having to lie for them.

It`s no fun. I really feel this doctor was trying to be a good friend to Charlie Sheen, but let`s be real. Nobody can embarrass Charlie Sheen at this point any more than he has already embarrassed himself.

ANDERSON: Well, speaking of embarrassing, Jane, I want to show you a very disturbing photo of Charlie that TMZ revealed today. Take a look at it. It shows Charlie last Tuesday just before this whole alleged drug binge at a friend`s house, looking pale, looking shockingly thin, some say under the influence as well.

When I look at this photo, to me, it really drives home the point that Charlie needs some serious help.

I want to bring in Ken Baker right now. He`s the chief news correspondent for E! Ken, do you find this photo as disturbing as I do?

KEN BAKER, CHIEF CORRESPONDENT, E!: Well, I mean, we`ve seen a lot of Charlie Sheen over. I would say, he`s been backsliding for several months now. If you look back to the fall when we saw him in Las Vegas partying and the video of him -- I mean, he has not looked good.

He has not looked healthy. He`s dropped a lot of weight. You look at the picture there, and it looks like some sort of frat boy partying. And this is a 45-year-old man with, you know, four very young kids and an older daughter, by the way.

So this is a guy who`s clearly out of control. We know that. The picture, you know, if anything, it looks like he might be troubled because it`s missing a blonde.

I mean, he has this -- I mean, this is a guy who just, you know, he had that night -- was hatching his fantasy of having some sort of porn- star commune. And it just gets more disturbing and bizarre with everything we see every day.

ANDERSON: Yes, we talk about his four younger children. Can you imagine the humiliation his older adult daughter is experiencing right now? Poor thing.

And I`ve got to tell you that in my exclusive interview with Dr. Nassif, he told me that he had never seen Charlie take a drink and that they`ve known each other for years. Listen.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

NASSIF: Always been, you know, very relaxing. It`s never been -- you know, he`s never had anything to drink in front of me. We`ve always had a ball.

ANDERSON: He`s never had a drink in front of you?

NASSIF: He`s never had a drink in front of me. Never.

ANDERSON: Did that surprise you? Or did he ever talk about why?

NASSIF: Well, I mean, you know, he just told me at that point he didn`t drink. We all know about the problems in the past.

ANDERSON: Right.

NASSIF: And so, you know -- no drugs, no alcohol, nothing.

ANDERSON: OK.

NASSIF: And we had a blast all the time.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: All right. Jane, does this revelation surprise you as much as it surprised me, especially considering all the wild partying stories that we`ve heard about Charlie over the last few years?

VELEZ-MITCHELL: It doesn`t surprise me at all given what we`ve just heard in your segment, Brooke. Look, when I was out there as an alcoholic and I blacked out, if somebody had approached my friends, "Oh, does she have a problem?" They`d probably say, "Oh, no, she`s just a lot of fun."

Unfortunately, addicts create this front, and they make everybody who`s in their world co-conspirators in the phony front. And if you are going to break that wall and tell the truth, you`re going to be shut out 100 percent.

So that, once again, is why it`s so difficult to be friends with somebody who is deep in their disease.

ANDERSON: Yes, you`re right. They put them in impossible situations. Addicts put friends in impossible situations. And I`ve got to say, all of these brand-new revelations came on the same day that Whoopi Goldberg made her own extraordinary drug addiction confession on "The View" as she was talking about Charlie Sheen today.

Whoopi shocked her co-hosts when she suddenly revealed how she hit rock bottom. This is powerful stuff. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GOLDBERG: I was a functioning drug addict. I went to work because I knew if I didn`t show up, a lot of people would be out of work, and I wouldn`t get a check and would not have the lifestyle that I needed to buy my drugs. So now -- huh?

BARBARA WALTERS, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER AND CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": How did you get out of it?

GOLDBERG: I ended up sitting on a bed for three or four days scared there was something under the bed. Yes, OK? I wet the bed. I pooped the bed. I did all kinds of stuff. And my roommate came back and said, "What is going on?" I said, "There`s something under the bed."

ELISABETH HASSELBECK, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": OK. So go back in time to then, OK? And look at Charlie Sheen now, if he`s going back to work, is it a choice? If you have to choose one, "I need to get help" and go back to work at the same. Or I need to choose one or other.

GOLDBERG: You can do both.

SHERRI SHEPHERD, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": He can do both and maybe take a little responsibility.

GOLDBERG: No, it is not -- listen. This is not his boss` responsibility. This is Charlie`s responsibility. And until Charlie makes a decision that he is ready and willing to stop doing what he`s doing, because he can`t do it anymore, he will do that. But he`s not there yet.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Ken, do you agree with Whoopi that when it comes to Charlie hitting his rock bottom and deciding himself that he needs help, he`s just not there yet?

KEN BAKER, CHIEF NEWS CORRESPONDENT, E!: Yes, obviously. And I think that one person that Charlie Sheen could use sitting in his living room rehab right now is Whoopi Goldberg. She can have a testament to what she went through.

But the bottom line is this. I interviewed the porn star, Casey Jordan, who was one of the porn stars with Charlie that night before he went to the hospital. And she said all he talked about the whole time was retiring.

It seemed like he had already started to see the end of the road. And in some ways, subconsciously or not, he knows that if he kept doing what he was doing, that he could not continue. And that`s pretty much where he`s at right now.

ANDERSON: Jane, very quickly, what is his rock bottom?

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, we don`t know. But I have to say hats off to Whoopi Goldberg for being so incredibly honest in that interview because perhaps we`ll have a chain reaction of honesty.

Sometimes people are afraid of hitting bottom because they`re embarrassed. But nothing could be as embarrassing as what you`re doing as an addict. That`s the irony.

ANDERSON: Right. I, too, applaud Whoopi Goldberg for her honesty in that confession. And late today, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT got the very first statement from Charlie Sheen since this all began.

And he says this, "I have a lot of work to do to be able to return the support I have received from so many people. I want to say thank you to my fellow cast members, the crew of `Two and a Half Men` and everyone at CBS and Warner Brothers, especially Les Moonves and Bruce Rosenblum for their concern and support."

"And to my fans, your good wishes have touched me very much. Like Errol Flynn, who had to put down his sword on occasion, I just want to say `thank you.`"

All right. Elton John is giving Billy Joel some tough love today. You will not believe Elton`s stunning new warning to the Piano Man over alcoholism.

Kim Kardashian`s belly-baring brand-new ad in the same week that she cried over a nude photo shoot. The SHOWBIZ Flashpoint -- is it OK for Kim to cash in on her sexy image?

And you will not believe what the father of Halle Berry`s child is saying today in the battle over their baby. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" -- more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

ANDERSON: The great Lindsay Lohan jewelry heist? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT confirmed late today that Lohan is being connected to the robbery of a one- of-a-kind necklace valued at $2,500.

The Los Angeles Police tell us a search warrant was issued for Lindsay Lohan`s house, but the necklace was mysteriously returned already. The LAPD added that the case is currently under investigation.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

And just in today, Halle Berry`s baby battle heats up today. Halle Berry`s ex is firing back, sounding off for the very first time today as their nasty battle over their baby goes into overdrive.

Gabriel Aubry is slamming Halle for implying that he`s an unfit dad to their 2 1/2-year-old daughter, Nahla, and he adamantly proclaims he`s not the bad guy here.

Plus, today, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained an advanced first look inside Halle`s explosive baby battle. It`s detailed in the upcoming issue of "People" magazine.

First, I`ve got to bring in SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter now. What can you tell us right now about this sad, unfortunate baby battle?

KAREEN WYNTER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT: It is getting quite explosive, isn`t it, Brooke? Well, we`ve just learned that Halle -- she quit a movie. That`s right. She quit the movie she was set to start shooting to wage this war against her ex, Gabriel, who, by the way, filed for custody because he reportedly -- he was not on the birth certificate.

And then, Halle -- she fired the first shot here in the nasty battle. She released a statement saying that she had, quote, "concerns about her daughter when she`s in her dad`s care."

Now, today Gabriel -- he has his own ammo. Here`s what Gabriel`s rep just told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "While Gabriel is disappointed in Halle`s decision to falsely malign him publicly and for her own purposes, he refuses to be pulled into her dispute over a canceled film production."

"Gabriel also refuses to air their issues in the press as he believes this may ultimately harm their daughter. He will always defend his right as a father and will always consider Nahla`s best interest. Halle`s continuing allegations in the press are untrue and irresponsible."

ANDERSON: Oh, Gabriel not taking this lying down. Thank you, Kareen. I want to bring in now Jen Garcia here with me. She`s "People" magazine`s assistant editor. Jen, the cover story this week is all about Halle`s baby battle. Jen, what has "People" learned about how this custody battle got so nasty so quickly?

JEN GARCIA, ASSISTANT EDITOR, "PEOPLE" MAGAZINE: Wow. I mean, it`s really unfolding in a way no one could have ever expected. I mean, things started to take a turn for the worse around Christmastime.

And that`s when the mudslinging really started to happen behind the scenes. Now, Gabriel had filed court papers so that he could be legally recognized as Nahla`s father in an attempt really to just make sure that he wasn`t shut out of her life.

Now, since then, there have been allegations on both sides. The most explosive really is that sources tell us that Aubry -- Gabriel Aubry, that is -- was verbally abusive towards Halle and used racial slurs against her and their daughter, Nahla.

ANDERSON: So things began around Christmastime, and they have just since escalated each and every day, it seems.

GARCIA: Oh, beyond. Absolutely.

ANDERSON: Well, yes. "People" magazine also hinted the fact that Halle and Gabriel`s post-split romances may have been the trigger that lit this custody powder keg. Jen, what is that all about? Jealousy?

GARCIA: You know what? There certainly is some jealousy involved there, according to sources. You know, it`s not a pretty situation. This past summer is when Halle met Olivier Martinez, her current love.

And they met on the set of a movie. And lo and behold, Gabriel was actually there on the South African set taking care of Nahla.

So a little bit of a weird situation. Now, up until that point, he had been living in their Beverly Hills home together with Halle, co- parenting, even though they had split.

So things were seemingly amicable at that point. Now, this fall, he began dating Kim Kardashian, something that sources tell us did not make Halle happy whatsoever.

ANDERSON: Well, you know what I hope, Jen? I hope that both sides can just simmer down and try to settle it all amicably. I hope they are not too far gone. Jen Garcia, thank you so much.

GARCIA: Absolutely. You`re so welcome.

ANDERSON: And the new issue of "People" goes on sale Friday. Check it out.

Moving on now to my SHOWBIZ TONIGHT worldwide exclusive, the reality show doctor who called 911 for Charlie Sheen sets the record straight with me on how Charlie acts as a dad.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

(on camera) Seemed like a doting dad.

NASSIF: Of course. He`s a wonderful dad.

ANDERSON: Because the picture that`s being painted, he`s not acting like that.

The series had been dropped by the History Channel, reportedly due to historical inaccuracies. Reelz Channel CEO, Stan Hubbard told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "We believe in the business we are committed to, movies, the celebrities making them and how and why they influence our cultural universe."

ANDERSON: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today -- the SHOWBIZ Sheen exclusive.

Right now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is breaking even more news today from my exclusive headline-making interview with the reality show doctor who called 911 to get Charlie Sheen help after Sheen was allegedly partying for two days straight with porn stars and doing drugs.

Dr. Paul Nassif and his wife star in "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and are friends of Sheen`s. I spoke exclusively with the doctor in the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom here in Hollywood.

He was dressed in scrubs because he had just come from surgery, and he told me he was the one who drove Sheen out of the hospital. And he revealed to me how they managed to avoid everybody, including the paparazzi.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

NASSIF: Yes, I drove Charlie home.

ANDERSON: And you were able to avoid all the paparazzi that were at the hospital. How did you do that?

NASSIF: Well, there`s different, you know, routes where the doctors park in the hospital, obviously. So I got him in the car and we drove home.

ANDERSON: And at that time, did he say, "I need help, Paul?"

NASSIF: You know, I mean, there`s certain things that were said between both sides, which I really don`t feel comfortable discussing.

ANDERSON: Sure. OK.

NASSIF: He is my friend.

ANDERSON: Right.

NASSIF: Friendship is first more than anything.

ANDERSON: Have you seen or spoken to him since you took him home from the hospital Thursday?

NASSIF: I have not spoken or seen him since.

ANDERSON: OK. How did you leave it that night when you left his house? What did you say to him as you said goodbye?

NASSIF: Well, I gave him a hug and I said, "You`d better take care of yourself," you know. And I said, you know, let`s have dinner immediately.

And obviously, I knew that something was going to happen, whether it`s rehab or this and that, so I left it very light-hearted and soft with no pressure.

ANDERSON: Do you think he`s serious this time?

NASSIF: I do think he`s serious. You know, but obviously time will tell. You know, we all hope so.

ANDERSON: Prior to Thursday morning, when was the last time that you had seen him?

NASSIF: Prior to Thursday, I spoke to Charlie about a week previously.

ANDERSON: And did you have any indication that his life was heading in this direction?

NASSIF: You know, I mean, you always hear things, obviously, that things are happening and you read the media reports.

One thing I did not do is I never called Charlie and said, "You know, what`s going on? You know, why are you doing this?" Or "What happened in there?"

Obviously, you hear things. You think things. But every time I`ve spoke to him, he`s always been absolutely wonderful.

ANDERSON: What are your thoughts when you see someone come out and say the things that are being said about Charlie Sheen and the descriptions and oh, he was asking a porn star to baby-sit his children. Is that the Charlie that you have ever had a glimpse of?

NASSIF: I`ve never seen that side of Charlie. I mean, apparently the reports are out there. I mean, I know there`s been some more media where someone was apparently at the house the other day. I`ve never seen it.

Maybe it has happened. Maybe it hasn`t happened. But at this point, you know, I`ve only seen one type of Charlie.

ANDERSON: What`s he like around his kids?

NASSIF: He`s wonderful. You know, we bring -- I have three kids. He has his girls and now, he`s got the babies, the twins. And we all have fun. We all go out and have dinner. We would do fun things together. He`s great. He`s wonderful around his kids.

ANDERSON: Seemed like a doting dad.

NASSIF: Of course.

ANDERSON: The picture that`s being painted, he`s not acting like that.

NASSIF: Again, I haven`t been around that behavior. And obviously, I`m sure he`s not going to do anything crazy or anything that would possibly harm his children.

ANDERSON: Thanks for being so forthcoming about that. I do want to talk about "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

NASSIF: Go ahead. It`s a great show.

ANDERSON: Are you doing another season? Are you and Adrienne going to be participating in another season?

NASSIF: We have not been told if there is another season.

ANDERSON: There will be another season, I`m sure.

NASSIF: I mean, I`ll be surprised if there`s not another season, you know. But obviously, I think Adrienne and I, would, you know -- since we have a wonderful experience, I think we`d be fine.

ANDERSON: What has the experience been like? And is Camille really crazy?

NASSIF: I`ve been asked that question many times. And Camille and Kelsey were friends of ours before the show. We used to go out and have dinner all the time and do things and go to parties.

And you know, they both were wonderful. Some things came out in that show were maybe a little inappropriate by a lot of people. But it did make a good show, though.

ANDERSON: It did.

NASSIF: It did make a good show.

ANDERSON: It made a great show.

NASSIF: And it was all real.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: Dr. Nassif and I clearly covered a lot of ground in my exclusive interview with him. And there was one thing he really wanted to drive home. The good doctor says that Charlie is a good father to his five kids. Watch again.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

NASSIF: Wonderful. I mean, we bring -- you know, I have three kids. You know, he has his girls, and now he`s got the babies, the twins. And we all would have fun. We`d all go out and have dinner. We would do fun things together. He`s wonderful around his kids.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: I was happy to hear Dr. Nassif say that Charlie is a doting dad because his kids definitely need their father.

I want to bring in Rachel Zalis of "Life and Style Weekly."

Rachel, I realize, sadly, addiction can become the priority over children for addicts. But he`s got five kids, four of them very, very young. Shouldn`t that be solid motivation for him and his recovery?

RACHEL ZALIS, CONTRIBUTING EDITOR, "LIFE AND STYLE WEEKLY": Yes. I think he was being quite diplomatic there.

ANDERSON: Of course, he was.

ZALIS: But the truth is -- I mean, it`s one thing when Charlie`s behavior -- the drugs, alcohol, binges -- were affecting himself.

But I mean, there`s a lot more people to think about now. He`s the dad with all these kids. He`s asking porn stars to baby-sit them. There`s a woman cowering in his bathroom.

There`s 300 people whose livelihood is on the line at work because it`s undetermined whether he`s going to show up or not.

ANDERSON: Reportedly asking a porn star to baby-sit his children is outrageous. I want to bring in Ken Baker right now who is the chief news correspondent for E!

Ken, you heard what Dr. Nassif told me in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive interview. But clearly, Charlie caring about his kids has not been enough to set him straight yet.

BAKER: Well, it`s one of those stunning dichotomies about him is that we hear on one hand he`s abusing alcohol and drugs and has these wild binges.

And then, when you talk to people who work with him, who spend time with him, they all say he`s a really great guy. So I think it really is this kind of split personality that he has.

And by the way, someone can do very bad, destructive things and not be a bad person, and no one`s really saying that. But I think clearly what he`s doing, his behavior has repercussions that are very serious for a lot of people.

ANDERSON: And yes, impact a lot of people. Being self-destructive is one thing, but when you`re hurting other people, that`s quite a different story.

And you know, I think tough love would do Charlie some good. And tough love, you guys, is exactly what Elton John says that Billy Joel needs.

"Rolling Stone" today revealed a shocking new interview with Elton who has toured with Billy Joel. Elton says that Billy needs to get more serious about dealing with his alcoholism, claiming they had to cancel some of their concerts because of Billy`s troubles.

Elton tells "Rolling Stone" this. "I love you, Billy. And this is tough love. Billy, you have your demons, and you`re not going to get rid of them at rehab light."

"You`ve got to be serious. People adore you. They love you and respect you. You should be able to do something better than what you`re doing now."

Rachel, were you as shocked as I was that Elton was so blunt about his friend Billy Joel?

ZALIS: I mean, clearly, the Michael Lohan disease is contagious because Elton has caught it. I mean, what is wrong with him? There is a phone. There`s text. There is Facebook. There are plenty of ways to get your message across.

ANDERSON: Maybe he`s tried that and it hasn`t worked, though?

ZALIS: Still no reason to air your public dirty laundry.

ANDERSON: All right. Well, if Billy Joel is peeved at Elton for what he said, he`s not saying so publicly. I want you to take a look at what he told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT this afternoon, "I`ve worked with Elton for such a long time, and I`ve enjoyed our relationship too much to let something as random as these comments change my affection for him. Elton is just being Elton."

Well, I`m happy to hear that there appears to be no hard feelings here. But Ken, is this just Elton being Elton? Or should Billy Joel be taking what Elton said a little more seriously?

BAKER: I wish we had a Billy cam on Billy when he saw those remarks in "Rolling Stone," because I would bet he actually took his hand and smashed his hand all over his piano keys. That had to upset him.

But I do give him credit for taking the high road. That was a very high road kind of statement to make, particularly when someone betrays you like that.

ANDERSON: Yes. Maybe some inspiration for a new song.

BAKER: Exactly.

ANDERSON: And if he has issues, hopefully, he will get help for them. Who knows? Rachel Zalis, Ken Baker, thanks, guys.

Moving on to Kim Kardashian cashing in again. Kim`s super-sexy Super Bowl commercial just after she cried over a nude photo spread. Is there anything wrong with Kim cashing in on her sexy image?

Jennifer Aniston`s stunning revelations today about her showdown with Perez Hilton. You will not believe what happened when Jennifer confronted Perez.

Plus, Rihanna`s S and M shocker. Watch.

ANDERSON: The global outrage today over Rihanna`s racy new music video. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" -- more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: The White Stripes announce they have broken up. Kyle Richards tells Ellen if her sister Kim will return to "Real Housewives."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ELLEN DEGENERES, HOST, "THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW": Of course, Kim is not here, we should mention. Kim is not here. Is she OK?

KYLE RICHARDS, REALITY STAR, "THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS": You know, I think that, you know, she doesn`t really like being around crowds that much. I think she`s a little gun-shy now.

DEGENERES: So she won`t be back next season? That`s safe to assume.

RICHARDS: I don`t know. I don`t know yet.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: Hi, there. Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

Right now, selling sexy. Kim Kardashian is taking that motto to the bank. Still, just this week, we`ve seen Kim have an on-camera meltdown over a nude photo spread fearing it was too revealing.

And then, on the other hand, she`s revealing a first look at her hot, new, super-sexy Super Bowl ad. Sounds like it could be a contradiction to me.

But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you despite Kim`s rants, she`s willingly cashing in on her sexiness. And we`ve got to ask, is there anything wrong with that?

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

KIM KARDASHIAN, REALITY TV STAR: Oh, my god, I`m more naked here than I was in my "Playboy."

ANDERSON (voice-over): Everyone is talking about Kim Kardashian`s meltdown in this week`s episode of her reality show "Kourtney and Kim take New York."

KIM KARDASHIAN: I feel so [ bleep ] bad you have no idea.

ANDERSON: Kim absolutely freaked out when she first saw her nude photo spread that appeared in the November issue of "W" magazine.

KIM KARDASHIAN: Like I am so upset. I was told that artwork was going to be covered on top of me and they weren`t going to show my ass crack or my nipples. This is (EXPLETIVE DELETED) porn.

ANDERSON: Now, today, "W" magazine is responding to Kim`s accusation that it duped her. In a new statement to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "W" magazine says, "Kim Kardashian`s cover was conceived as an artistic collaboration and was a meditation on the influence that reality TV has on contemporary culture."

BONNIE FULLER, EDITOR-IN-CHIEF, "HOLLYWOODLIFE.COM": To see her meltdown over her "W" photographs is surprising.

ANDERSON: The "W" controversy comes as we get our very first look at Kardashian`s sexy new Super Bowl commercial. "E! Online" posted a brief shot of Kardashian`s new ad for Skechers. So while Kim Kardashian says she doesn`t want to be nude anymore --

KIM KARDASHIAN: I don`t want people to be, like, all she`s good for is, you know, being naked.

ANDERSON: Being sexy? Well, that`s something else entirely.

FULLER: I don`t think that Kim has a problem being sexy.

KIM KARDASHIAN: I feel so (EXPLETIVE DELETED)!

ANDERSON: Complaining about nude photos while posing nude and selling a sexy image? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is asking, is Kim Kardashian trying to have it both ways?

Ever since a mysterious sex tape launched Kardashian into fame, Kim has marketed herself to the hilt. She was recently named TV`s highest-paid reality show star, pulling in an estimate $6 million last year.

KIM KARDASHIAN: I would absolutely say that marketing is a skill.

ANDERSON: Kim Kardashian recently told CNN`s Piers Morgan that she`s all business now. And about that sex tape?

KIM KARDASHIAN: I feel like I`ve dealt with it and now I move on from it. And I don`t really go there.

FULLER: Kim wants to change her image. She wants her "Playboy" pictures and her sex tape to be in the past. She has worked hard to present herself as a hardworking, serious career woman.

ANDERSON: But "HollywoodLife.com`s" Bonnie Fuller tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Kim`s not afraid to use sex to sell herself. And really, is there anything wrong with that?

FULLER: Kim has used her sexy side very effectively to market herself. I think there is a great distance between being the "Playboy" centerfold and between being a sexy, voluptuous, very self-actualized woman who embraces her sexuality.

ANDERSON: So Kim Kardashian is showing that complaining about --

KIM KARDASHIAN: I`m so (EXPLETIVE DELETED) mad!

ANDERSON: Than embracing --

KIM KARDASHIAN: I`m happy with it at the end of the day.

ANDERSON: Nude photos that you pose for can get you great TV ratings. Those same nude photos can get you on the cover of a major magazine.

A sexy image can get you a Super Bowl commercial. And most importantly of all, having it both ways can get you very, very rich.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

Oh, boy. And that brings us to the SHOWBIZ Flashpoint -- is there anything wrong with Kim cashing in on her sexy image?

Right now in Hollywood is Gwen Flamberg. She`s the beauty and lifestyle director for "Us Weekly."

And you know, even a blind man could see how sexy Kim Kardashian is. No one`s disputing that. She`s a hot girl. She`s made a career out of it.

And Gwen, she makes no apologies for that. But to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, is there anything wrong with her cashing in on her sexy image?

GWEN FLAMBERG, BEAUTY AND LIFESTYLE DIRECTOR FOR "US WEEKLY": Well, she`s got two young sisters. Girls all over America look up to Kim. So I don`t really think it`s so great that she`s cashing in on it.

But on the other hand, once you`ve done a sex tape, all bets are off. And at least, Kim has a womanly body. She`s not super waif-y. She looks real and people can relate to that.

ANDERSON: And I love what you just said about the message she is sending to young girls. She is trying to put that sex tape behind her, but steamy, sexy, provocative photo shoots really do nothing for that effort.

FLAMBERG: It seems a little bit contradictory, absolutely.

ANDERSON: It certainly does. Well, I want to ask Maureen O`Connor. She`s a writer for "Gawker." I want to ask her the same question. Is there anything wrong with Kim cashing in on her sexy image?

MAUREEN O`CONNOR, WRITER, "GAWKER": You know, it doesn`t bother me that Kim uses her body as part of her career and part of what makes her famous.

What bothers me, though, is the way she`s in this vicious cycle where every time she`ll do a sex tape, and then she`ll feel terrible and give interviews and say she feels awful.

Then she`ll pose for "Playboy" and then afterwards, she feels horrible shame about that, too. I think what`s dangerous is this idea that, to get ahead, a woman must be sexy, but then she has to feel bad about it afterwards.

And to me, that cycle is honestly worse than any individual act or any individual picture of her. It`s the sort of the attitude to that.

ANDERSON: Yes, she`s got to think ahead of time, like, "How is this going to make me feel afterwards?" And you know, as we mentioned, Kim did become infamous after her sex tape was released in 2007.

In less than four years, she has turned that shame into an empire that now includes at least three reality shows. She is a staple on magazine covers like yours, "Us Weekly." She even gets paid to tweet.

Gwen, quickly, does it blow your mind, what she has accomplished? $6 million, the girl made last year.

FLAMBERG: It`s pretty amazing. And she shot a cover for "Vogue" magazine. Make no mistake. Kim is A-list now. I mean, she has really raised the bar on what it means to be a celebrity.

ANDERSON: And she`s smart and she`s strategic with her marketing ability.

FLAMBERG: Super savvy.

ANDERSON: I don`t want to take that away from her. She is super savvy.

FLAMBERG: Yes.

ANDERSON: All right, Gwen Flamberg, Maureen O`Connor, thank you both.

And I`ve got to move now to Jennifer Aniston`s stunning new revelation today. Jennifer talks to Ellen DeGeneres about her dramatic showdown with this guy, Perez Hilton.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ANISTON: I ran into Perez Hilton in a garage. It was one of those moments you just don`t ever expect to happen.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: You won`t believe what happened when Jennifer confronted Perez. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" -- more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray join cast of "Dallas" remake. GLAAD upset "SNL" mocked transgender people in a skit.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: You deserve to be in the body you want. Most hormone replacement therapies require you to take five estrogen supplements a day -- five.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(MUSIC PLAYING)

ANDERSON: Making news today, Rihanna banned? According to the U.K.`s "Daily Mail," Rihanna`s brand-new music video "S and M" is banned in 11 countries. Riri`s "S and M" has also been flagged on YouTube to keep underage eyes off the risque video.

In Britain, officials say the lyrics are so provocative, Rihanna`s "S and M" can only be played on the radio after 7:00 p.m. So what will MTV do about Rihanna`s racy music video? Late reports today say MTV will air Rihanna`s "S and M" music video as is.

All right. Jennifer Aniston`s dramatic showdown now. In a brand-new interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Jen tells Ellen about her face-to-face encounter with cheeky gossip columnist, Perez Hilton. She says they faced off in, of all places, a parking garage.

Jennifer told Ellen when she realized it was Perez Hilton, she had to confront him, and she says she had some pretty choice words. At issue, why in the world did Perez use his Web site to slam her and other A-listers?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ANISTON: I ran into Perez Hilton in a garage. It`s one of those moments you just don`t ever expect to happen. I was -- had finished dinner with a girl friend. And we were driving out.

And I saw this very tall, long -- I hope I can make this quick -- lean person. And I say, who is that? She said, "I think that`s Perez Hilton." And I said, "No. I have to say something to him, like I have to."

So I pulled up. It was sort of like this. We were scoping each other out as I was pulling the car up. And I just rolled down the window. And I went, "Hi."

And he went, "Hi." We stood there like two deer caught in the headlights. And I just said, "Come here. Just talk to me for a second."

And it was one of those just great moments. It was a lovely meeting. And I was just, like, why are you so mean? There was something really great about just putting a human being in front of another human being, and then the reality that -- those words do, even though it`s for humor and just for effect or whatever, there`s a human being behind all of that.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: All right. She says it was a great encounter, great conversation. And Jennifer Aniston`s encounter with Perez actually happened at the height of the national bullying crisis.

Perez announced on Ellen`s show he was giving up talking smack about celebrities on his Web site. And so far, Perez continues to keep his word.

Tuesday, we asked you to vote in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll. I was just handed the shocking final results. Katie Couric reportedly working on a talk show. Would she be a good replacement for Oprah?

Only 23 percent say yes, that Katie`s a great choice. A whopping 77 percent of you say nobody can replace Oprah.

And that`s a wrap for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thank you so much for watching. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is live at 5:00 a.m. Eastern Monday through Friday. And we`re still TV`s most provocative entertainment news show seven days a week, 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific.
