Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City with big news breaking today - Hollywood`s heartache.

Today, everyone is obviously just horrified and heartbroken by images of the devastation caused by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you celebrities - they`re also feeling the pain.

Today, some of the world`s biggest stars are springing into action and using their fame to help those directly affected by the tragedy. But for some stars, seeing the unimaginable damage in Japan is actually reviving their own painful memories of a catastrophe that changed their lives forever.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

NEMCOVA: To see them on Friday morning was horrifying, so hard to imagine without going through -

HAMMER (voice-over): Supermodel Petra Nemcova doesn`t have to imagine what the tsunami victims in Japan are going through. This morning on "Good Morning America," she remembered her horrifying experience as a survivor of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami that killed more than 200,000 people, including her boyfriend, Simon Atlee.

Nemcova survived by clinging to a palm tree for eight excruciating hours with a broken pelvis. This morning on "Good Morning America," Petra said seeing the horrors unfold in Japan is bringing it all back for her.

NEMCOVA: The power is so enormous. You feel powerless. You feel you can`t do anything, but there is a degree of broke trees and doors. And everything is crashing on you and you are under debris trying to catch your breath and fresh air and you can`t. It`s something you cannot do anything about.

HAMMER: Like Petra, TV host Nate Berkus also survived that 2004 tsunami and also lost a loved one, his partner, Fernando Bengoechea.

NATE BERKUS, TV HOST: Really, the scariest part of surviving a tsunami is what you`re in the water with. It`s like a soup of bodies and babies and the most horrible things that you can imagine.

HAMMER: In a report that aired this morning on the "Today" show, Berkus said he couldn`t help but think about his ordeal when he sees what`s going on in Japan.

BERKUS: For me, when I see the footage of what`s happened in Japan, the sounds and the smells come back to me.

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you, like everyone else, stars are being affected by what they`re seeing in Japan. On "Saturday Night Live," they stopped joking long enough to ask viewers to help out.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: On a serious note, if you would like to contribute to the relief efforts underway in Japan, please make a donation to the Red Cross.

HAMMER: In fact, stars like P. Diddy and Conan O`Brien are using their popular Twitter feeds to ask people to text donations to the Red Cross.

ALAN DUKE, CNN CORRESPONDENT: So far, in the first couple of days since this crisis happened, the Red Cross text messages have raised $1.1 million.

HAMMER: Stars are also helping out in more creative ways. Today, Katy Perry announced she`s donating proceeds from some of her online merchandise sales to tsunami relief. Other stars are doing the same.

DUKE: Lady Gaga has designed a wrist band that she`s selling on her Web site for $5 each. "We pray for Japan," it says. All proceeds going to the Japanese earthquake/tsunami relief effort.

HAMMER: Even Charlie Sheen is taking a break from his 24/7 online side show.

CHARLIE SHEEN, ACTOR: The Condor of Calabasas, the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) warlock of your jealous face that`s before you.

HAMMER: To try to help out Japan. He announced today that $1 from each ticket he sells from his upcoming tour will go to tsunami relief. In his own Sheen-esque call to action, he tweets, quote, "Warlock edict, pain and devastation in Japan demands us all to dig deep and love them violently. Dogspeed my cadres of the Far East.

DUKE: As I surveyed around with different celebrities and their publicists, we found that there are plans being made. We don`t know what those are yet.

HAMMER: And CNN`s Alan Duke tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT we may soon see the kind of celebrity telethon or benefit concert that we saw for disasters like the 2004 tsunami or last year`s devastating earthquake in Haiti.

DUKE: Much bigger things, perhaps some kind of a big event - a telethon, a concert or more - could be announced in the next days.

HAMMER: It all shows that when is there`s a major crisis like we`re seeing in Japan, celebrities also feel the need to stop the nonsense and do their part.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

I want to get right to a star who is very quick to spring into action to do his part. It`s a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsmaker interview with entertainment icon, George Takei, best-known, of course, as Mr. Sulu from "Star Trek."

George has been taking a very active role in the crisis in Japan. George, it`s always good to see you, unfortunate under these circumstances, of course. But first of all, how of your friends and family in Japan? Is everyone safe?

GEORGE TAKEI, ACTOR: We were concerned first thing Friday morning, and they have all checked in well, particularly friends that were scattered all over the central area and Tokyo.

Most of my relatives are in the southern part, so they were all right. So it`s gratifying to get that kind of information. But when you see the pictures on our television screen, it is horrific.

And then, to know that thousands of people have lost their lives and many thousands more are still unaccounted for. And then countless people are without food, clean water, shelter and heat in that bitterly cold winter. So we`ve got to get going and send them all the assistance that we can.

HAMMER: Well, let`s talk about that and what you`re doing, George. You began tweeting about the crisis very early on Friday. In fact, in one of your first tweets that I saw you wrote, "Today, we are all Japanese." How did you rally your fan base to help disaster victims in Japan?

TAKEI: Well, the "Star Trek" fan base, plus the others, are all very socially concerned people. They`ve engaged with me in equality for the LGBT community, as well as various other issues. So I knew that they would respond.

And they have been internationally supportive, a great deal of support coming from Germany and Britain and certainly from the United States. And so I`m very gratified by that.

I`m told that we helped raise approximate $7.75 million for the Red Cross as of Sunday afternoon. I`m sure that it`s much more than that now.

HAMMER: Wow, that`s unbelievable, George. And that`s what you`re doing, directing your fan base to donate to the Red Cross? How are you doing that?

TAKEI: I`ve been suggesting that they do it both by E-mail, texting 90999, and whatever other way that they can find to send some financial aid to the people of Japan, particularly those that are surviving. It`s a bare survival -

HAMMER: Yes.

TAKEI: Because that winter in the northern part of Japan is so bitterly cold.

HAMMER: Well, George, it is, as I said, always good to see you. And I`m so glad you`re doing everything you`re doing right now. It is easy to say not enough can be done. So, George Takei, thanks so much. Great to see you.

TAKEI: Thank you for giving us this opportunity.

HAMMER: All right. We do want to move on right now because we do have more big news breaking today. In Mel Gibson`s court drama, a brand-new report says Mel`s battle with his ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, is not over yet.

TMZ claims that Oksana is threatening to take her abuse claims against Mel to civil court now and that Mel already has a battle plan in place. Now, the report says if Oksana goes through with her lawsuit, Mel will counter- sue her for extortion.

Let me go right to Megan Alexander, correspondent with "Inside Edition."

Megan, it`s been a messy battle already. And would you be surprised at all if Mel`s big plea deal on Friday wasn`t the last of all of the drama here?

MEGAN ALEXANDER, CORRESPONDENT, "INSIDE EDITION": Well, first of all, let`s also say he handled himself fairly well in court compared to some of the other stars we`ve seen of late. He dressed well. He drove himself, which looks very low-maintenance. I believe he showed up on time and he was respectful to the judge -

HAMMER: Paid attention -

ALEXANDER: So kudos to him for that. That being said, though, I find it interesting if she sues and he counter-sues, why? Why did they want to continue to let this play out in the media?

HAMMER: Yes.

ALEXANDER: Many high profile stars that we know about have settled outside of court. But it seems, from the beginning, he`s been passionate to continue to fight this out in the courts and why is that?

HAMMER: Yes. I think it`s because he`s not interested in ever admitting any wrongdoing, if there is wrongdoing here or not wrongdoing. He just doesn`t want to say it. And as we mentioned, it was just this past Friday that Mel pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery.

But there is controversy that`s brewing today over the fact that Mel was even able to enter that no-contest plea before a judge. You`ve got to listen to what Judge Jeanine Pirro has to say about that when she was a guest on "The View" today. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JEANINE PIRRO, LEGAL ANALYST AND TV PERSONALITY: As far as I`m concerned, when I was a judge in my courtroom, you`re either guilty or you`re not guilty. Don`t give me this hogwash, no contest. You`re either guilty or you`re not. You smacked her or you didn`t. You`re going to jail or you`re not.

JOY BEHAR, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": You`re strict.

PIRRO: Yes. Domestic violence is unacceptable.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. Jeanine thinks that Mel got off easy. I`m thinking Mel has to be in a hurry to put it all behind him. But Ken, with the possibility - going to Ken Baker now, "E! News" chief correspondent - the possibility of more legal action, is Mel ever going to come back as Mel the movie star or is it just Mel the tabloid star from here on out?

KEN BAKER, CHIEF CORRESPONDENT, "E! NEWS": I think it`s really hard to say. And I bet that Mel Gibson can answer that question and he would like to answer that question. But what is clear is that he really is moving on in the sense of not completely moving forward to have the point where people forget about this.

But I have to say I was at the courthouse on Friday. He floated in. He floated out and it just seemed to be just eons ago that we were listening to all those audiotapes -

HAMMER: Yes.

BAKER: Where he was allegedly talking to Oksana and he was just saying all these vile, hateful things. And it really seems like so long ago, and he seems to be working on his issues. He hasn`t gotten in any trouble since.

And I think that he`s definitely making the right steps. And I think him being accountable, even if people think he should have gone to jail and he didn`t, the fact is, he did receive a sentence and he is going to have to answer to the court.

HAMMER: Yes. And we` going to leave it there. Megan Alexander, Ken Baker, thank you much. We move on now to more shocking Palin attacks. Sarah Palin taking on Julianne Moore today. Her explosive words about Julianne playing Palin in her new movie.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

FMR. GOV. SARAH PALIN (R-AK): Well, I am all about job creation, and I guess I could provide some of these girls who pretend like they`re me some job security.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Sarah not sounding too happy about this. We`re asking in the SHOWBIZ Flashpoint today, is Julianne Moore the right choice?

Usher is the latest star reportedly caught up in a sex tape scandal today. Do these stars ever learn, you make a tape, it`s going to get out? The big debate today, could Usher`s alleged sex tape actually hurt him?

And Alec Baldwin sent a message to Charlie Sheen today, "Go beg for your job back." But will Chuck listen to Alec? That`s next. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Man charged with burglary after breaking into Madonna`s London home. Justin Bieber and Rascal Flatts debut music video for "That Should Be Me."

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: This is pretty cool. Did you see this? The real Lady Gaga shocks everyone by showing up at a Gaga impersonator show.

This video is from our friends over at TMZ today. Now, after playing the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Gaga stopped by a bar called "Connection," stepped right on stage right in the middle of "Born This Way." That had to have been pretty cool for the other Gagas in the house.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Alec Baldwin`s stunning message to Charlie Sheen today, you can`t win, Charlie.

Yes, the star of"30 Rock" posted a shocking letter on "Huffington Post" over the weekend telling Charlie, "You`ve got to sober up and you`ve got to get back to work stat." I`ve got to say Alec didn`t sugarcoat this one bit. None of his advice to Charlie was sugarcoated.

He said, "You should not only apologize to the creator of "Two and a Half Men," Chuck Lorre, but you`ve got to apologize to your fans as well.

Here is some of what Alec wrote, "Take a nap, get a shower, call Chuck. Go on Letterman and make an apology and then beg for your job back. Your fans demand it. You will never win."

I want to go to Bonnie Fuller, the president and editor-in-chief of "HollywoodLife.com." Alec says that Charlie will never win. Do you agree with that?

BONNIE FULLER, PRESIDENT AND EDITOR-IN-CHIEF, "HOLLYWOODLIFE.COM": I think he`s right, but I think he can win if he follows Alec`s advice. You know, everybody in America loves a comeback.

And you know what? Those people at Warner Brothers and CBS - they want to make more money, too. So if Charlie plays it right and especially apologizes like crazy and begs - I agree, begging is important - he could land back on that sitcom.

HAMMER: Yes. Of course, he`ll never do that. Not going to happen. But I do think Alec hit the nail right on the head. And that`s not all he wrote. Let me get to a little bit more this.

He went on to say, "Sober up, Charlie and get back on TV, if it`s not too late. This is America. Do you want to really piss off Chuck and Warner Brothers and CBS? Beg for America`s forgiveness. They will give it to you. P.S., buy co-star Jon Cryer a really nice car."

That`s sound advice. Let me go to Brotha Fred, syndicated radio host from 103.5 Kiss FM in Chicago. All right, Brotha Fred, do you think that Charlie would even take advice from Alec Baldwin seriously at all?

BROTHA FRED, SYNDICATED RADIO HOST, 103.5 KISS FM: No, I think he deserves a lot more money, more like that $3 million number that he put out there. I, on the other hand, will do it for half.

And I can be a crack-head or whatever you want me to do for half the money. That`s fine. I`ll wear a clown outfit - I mean, whatever. $1.5 million sounds good for me. $1.75 million -

HAMMER: Yes. I don`t see that happening, Brotha Fred. No disrespect intended by that. You know, that`s a good pitch anyway. Maybe they`re paying attention over there at CBS.

But of course, with all the excitement going on around Charlie and all the drama in his life, apparently, he missed out on his twin boys` birthday over the weekend.

Now, according to "People.com," Sheen`s twins with his soon-to-be ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, spent the day with their mom. We saw how upset Charlie was when he had to hand over the boys last week to Brooke during that whole custody dispute.

So what do you think, Bonnie, are you surprised that Charlie didn`t see them on their birthday? That did seem a little strange.

FULLER: Well, not really. If Brooke`s got custody, she`s got custody. She can do whatever she wants, including throwing the twins a birthday party.

However, what I expect, as soon as Charlie - because I believe they`ve made a deal. As soon as he has those twins back in his hands, you`re going to see a much bigger birthday party with all kinds of celebrities coming by.

HAMMER: Yes. Oh, good. More chaos to surround all the chaos that`s going on. All right. Bonnie Fuller, Brotha Fred, I thank you both.

Got to move on. New star wars to talk about today. An unbelievable battle is breaking out today. First up, we have Star Jones and Lisa Rinna. You`ve got to check this out.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LISA RINNA, REALITY TV STAR: You threw me under the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) bus and I won`t take it. You want to see tough? Girl, you can see tough.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. Things get pretty ugly on "Celebrity Apprentice." Another star furious with Star Jones. How come Star just can`t play nice in that sandbox?

Plus, Sarah Palin slams Julianne Moore today. Sarah`s explosive words about Julianne playing Palin in a new movie. Here`s our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - is Moore the right choice?

Well, someone`s sleeping in Justin Bieber`s bed and it`s not the Bieb. Wait until you hear the scare that Justin just got. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: "Battle: Los Angeles" tops weekend box office, pulls in $36 million. Kanye West to perform at South by Southwest Music Festival.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: All right. Listen up Charlie Sheen, Mel Gibson, Lindsay Lohan, Ryan Phillippe has some good advice for you. Ryan stars alongside Matthew McConaughey in "The Lincoln Lawyer."

So when we caught up with Ryan when he was out promoting the film, we just had to ask him about all of the out-of-control stars right now. So how would he handle a personal or public crisis?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RYAN PHILLIPPE, ACTOR: I would just take a step back and take a breath and try to, you know, see something from the outside rather than allow yourself to be wrapped up and so within it. I think you need perspective in order to handle a crisis the right way. If you`re aware of the way - the effect you have on people or the way you`ll be perceived, that kind of modifies your behaviors.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Sounds like a pretty good plan. By the way, "Lincoln Lawyer," which looks like a pretty good film, opens up on March 18th.

McConaughey is a lawyer who runs his whole business out of the back of an `80s-era Lincoln town car. Phillippe is a Beverly Hills playboy accused of attempted murder and McConaughey defends him.

Well, now, it is the SHOWBIZ royals watch. If you`re even thinking about heading to the U.K. for the royal wedding, but maybe you can`t afford a hotel room or even find one, you can just bring a tent and camp out.

Clapham Common, a park in London, will host the big royal wedding sleepover. That`s from April 28th through May 1st. Kind of like the Woodstock of the royal wedding, I guess.

It costs about $128 or $120 for three nights. It`s not a bad deal because you get your hot showers, big screen TVs to watch Prince William marry Kate Middleton, and even get some free tea.

That`s not Buckingham Palace, but you certainly could do worse. Now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Brooke Anderson will be in London for the royal wedding.

We are teaming up with "People" magazine for the best coverage, so stay right here with HLN for all of that. And Brooke, we are springing for a hotel room for you, but you`re going to miss out on the campfire s`mores. Maybe there are crumpets.

A lot of posts on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook wall coming in today about Mel Gibson`s domestic violence plea deal. Mel will get no jail time in his case involving his ex-girlfriend. He`s pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery and is sentenced to community service and counseling.

Let me get to a couple of them. Lynne R. writing, "No surprise here. The Hollywood justice system is too chicken to give them what they deserve. Money talks, famous walks."

But Kelli A. thinks, "He needs rehab/therapy instead of jail time."

HAMMER: Lisa Rinna`s star smack-down today. Lisa`s nasty battle with Star Jones on "Celebrity Apprentice." what`s the deal with Star? Why are so many stars having problems with Star?

Plus, breaking today from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker," it`s a girl for a former Spice Girl. And James Blunt`s royal engagement.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.

We`ve got big news breaking today - Sarah`s movie star slam. Sarah Palin now speaking out for the very first time about Oscar-nominated actress, Julianne Moore, getting cast as Palin in the upcoming HBO film, "Game Change."

And you can imagine Pain is not really happy about it at all. In fact, check out what she just told Fox`s Sean Hannity.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PALIN Well, I am all about job creation and I guess I could provide some of these girls who is pretend like they`re me some job security.

I would ask, though, if they`re of the mind of spreading the wealth around that perhaps they want to spring for one of my kids` sets of braces or something as they capitalize on pretending to be me. I think I`ll just grit my teeth and bear whatever comes - what may with that movie.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Look, I`m not at all surprised that Palin is gritting her teeth over this film. I happen to love Julianne Moore. She`s one of my favorite actresses out there. I think she will absolutely nail the role.

I want to bring in "Inside Edition" correspondent, Megan Alexander.

Now, Megan, Palin kind of went after Julianne there with that whole job security comment. I thought it was actually kind of uncalled for. I mean, I see where Sarah`s coming from. But do you think it was fair game?

ALEXANDER: I do. I mean, come on, A.J. Sarah Palin will not be happy unless a Republican actress plays her. And in Hollywood, they`re few and far between. I think Angie Harmon would be the only possibility.

This is a win-win, if you ask me. Yes, Julianne Moore is an excellent actress. She`s also a serious actress, unlike Tina Fey, who does a parody.

HAMMER: Right.

ALEXANDER: And Sarah Palin is back in the headlines and gets to comment. As the film comes out, she can tear it to shreds if she wants to.

HAMMER: Yes. And it`s all publicity.

ALEXANDER: It`s a win-win for everybody.

HAMMER: Good point there. And the film now is based on the bestselling book, "Game Change," so I get why Palin would be upset. This book did not make Sarah look particularly great.

Let me go to Cathy Areu who is the publisher of "Catalina" magazine.

You know, Cathy, this movie is getting made whether or not Sarah Palin likes it. I think she should be flattered that an A-lister - Republican, Democrat, it doesn`t matter -that an A-lister like Julianne Moore is playing her.

CATHY AREU, PUBLISHER, "CATALINA" MAGAZINE: Flattered but afraid, very afraid. I mean, Julianne Moore can make it look true. It`s going to be embarrassing. They`re going to show the ugly side of Sarah Palin.

Tina Fey never showed the funny side. She showed the funny side. So I think she should be very afraid that Julianne Moore is going to nail it and show the ugly side of Sarah Palin for everyone to see.

HAMMER: You know, and of course, as we`ve been discussing, the greatest all-time impersonator of Sarah Palin is Tina Fey. It`s not supposed to be an impersonation when does the serious role.

But Tina Fey is actually giving Julianne Moore her stamp of approval. I love this. Tina Fey actually told "Access Hollywood" that Moore is a great choice. She even offered Moore her Sarah Palin wig. Don`t know if she`ll wear that in the movie.

But Megan, you know, shouldn`t Palin be glad that this isn`t going to be that kind of a Tina Fey spoof? Or actually, would it be better if it was?

ALEXANDER: Well, I can see it both ways. Again, I think a serious actress like Julianne Moore - we`re hoping that she will do her homework and get the role right, again, depending on your political view if she does an excellent job or if she does a horrible job.

A.J., you know, politics will be brought into it. We`ll have more debate. I just see it no matter what the fact that Sarah Palin gets to comment every step of the way, remain in the headlines - that to me is the win-win. I do like the fact it will be serious, though.

HAMMER: Yes.

ALEXANDER: I mean, Tina Fey was all laughs, but politics is, you know, serious stuff.

HAMMER: And again, as the point was just made here, the fact that you have somebody as great as Julianne Moore playing this role, you know, some people look at movies as what history actually is. They don`t quite have a separation if it`s not exactly how thing went down.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: True. Right. Very true.

HAMMER: Maybe she does have a lot to worry about though. All right. I want to hear from you about this right now. It`s our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll - "Julianne Moore to Play Sarah Palin in an HBO Movie: Is it great casting?"

Here`s how you vote - "you betcha" or "nah, I don`t get it." You can text your vote right now to 45688. Text SBT1 for "you betcha," or SBT2 for "nah, I don`t get it." Standard text message rates apply.

You can also vote at CNN.com/ShowbizTonight. And you can E-mail us as well with your comments. Showbiztonight@cnn.com is our E-mail address.

Moving on right now to more big news breaking today. A shocking new smack- down between Lisa Rinna and Star Jones. Is Star behind Lisa getting the ax on "Celebrity Apprentice"?

Also, Justin Bieber gets really creeped out by his own fans today. And a pregnant Jewel survives a frightening car crash. All that is making big news in "The Buzz Today."

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) Jewel`s crash drama. Soon-to-be-mom, Jewel, has just been released from the hospital after a fire truck smashed into her car in Texas.

And now, she`s revealing the scary details tweeting, "Hey, everyone, just got released from the ER and my doctor`s office. Everything is fine. Me and the baby are OK. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers."

She added, "One thing I do know is my car saved my and baby`s life. Definitely going to get another Cadillac SRX. It absorbed all the damage and kept me safe."

Bieber creeped out. Justin Bieber reportedly furious after his security team found two obsessed fans in his London hotel suite dressed as maids.

U.K.`s "Daily Mirror" is reporting two teen girls swiped housekeeping uniforms from the Liverpool hotel and sneaked into Justin`s private suite.

The girls weren`t caught until a member of Justin`s team heard them giggling and walked in on them trying to get into his bed taking pictures of Justin`s personal items. The paper says Bieber was so creeped out that he slept in his tour bus instead of the hotel.

Lisa Rinna fired. Lisa Rinna has just become the second celebrity apprentice this season to get the boot by the Donald.

DONALD TRUMP, BUSINESS TYCOON: Lisa, you`re fired.

HAMMER: The Trump sent Lisa packing after she mangled being team leader in challenge to create a children`s storybook in play. In the boardroom, Lisa blasted back angrily in her defense that she was set up by the other members of her team, in particular Star Jones.

RINNA: You threw me under the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) bus.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I actually happened to watch this last night for the first time in years. Things are getting really nasty on "Celebrity Apprentice."

I`ve got to say a whole lot of fireworks on the show seemed to be sparked by one person, Star Jones, I mean, after just two appearances on the show, "Apprentice." And "Real Housewives" star Nene Leakes said that she wouldn`t even spit on Star if Star caught on fire. Nice. La Toya Jackson told us right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Star has been a diva and you just saw Lisa Rinna cursing at Star.

Off to Megan Alexander again. I`m thinking Star is really not doing herself any favors as far as her reputation is concerned unless she enjoys her reputation as a person people love hate.

ALEXANDER: Well, and she`s an attorney. She loves to argue. She loves to win her case. But I was frustrated, too.

And many people, when I put this on Facebook, A.J., were saying, Lisa Rinna - Donald Trump, what were you thinking? You should have kept her. She was obviously ganged up on. But that`s exactly why he`s keeping Star Jones -

HAMMER: Yes.

ALEXANDER: Because she`s continuing to stir the pot. She loves a good fight. But I`m telling you, in these types of situations, don`t forget about the underdog, the quiet one in the corner, somebody like a Niki Taylor. I just think it`s waiting to (INAUDIBLE).

HAMMER: I want to talk about Lisa, because Lisa was just fuming this morning. She was talking about the whole thing on Ryan Seacrest`s radio show. She seems baffled by Star`s behavior. Listen to what she told Ryan.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

RYAN SEACREST: it`s almost like it`s personal with her.

RINNA: Well, I think it is, to be honest with you. And I don`t understand that. And you know, you`d have to talk to her about that.

SEACREST: Yes.

RINNA: I`ve had situations with her before and I didn`t understand, you know, what the vibe was. But you know, sometimes, as Donald said, he goes, "Some people just don`t like each other and I don`t think you and Star like each other and that`s OK." You know, she`s a tough competitor, man.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Well, a lot of people say, you know, Star does whatever Star needs to do to try and succeed, which, quite frankly, is why she was perfectly cast for "Celebrity Apprentice." Cathy, do you get the sense that it is personal with Star?

AREU: No.

HAMMER: That it`s business? She`s playing the game or sort of a little bit of all of that?

AREU: I think it`s a little bit of both, but it`s definitely business. She`s going to win I think. I think a strong character like "Survivor" - in this game, you`re going to outwit, outlast and outplay. And I think she is playing to win.

HAMMER: Yes.

AREU: She got rid of Lisa. Lisa was major competition. Lisa was annoying last week. Got rid of her this week.

HAMMER: Right. Megan, I mean, it does seem like Star is kind of putting on a show -

ALEXANDER: Yes.

HAMMER: And playing this game really hard and plowing over anybody who gets in her way.

ALEXANDER: I think it will come down to if Donald will allow that to continue, because we`ve seen that sometimes he will jump in and give some advice, if you will.

HAMMER: Yes.

ALEXANDER: So it depends if he lets her keep going.

HAMMER: That`s going to be very interesting to see. All right. Megan Alexander, Cathy Areu, I thank you both.

Just in today, is there really an Usher sex tape? Wow. Don`t you know the cardinal rule celebrity sex tapes always, always get out? I`m asking today, could this actually ruin Usher`s career or help it?

Jake Gyllenhaal`s bathroom brawl. You`ve got to hear what happens when one of Jake`s fans makes the most shocking mistake of a lifetime in the bathroom.

And Justin Timberlake, back together with his ex, Cameron Diaz? Wait until you see what these two are up to now. That is coming up. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Time for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. And today, an Usher sex tape scandal. Yes, there are explosive brand-new reports today that a sex tape starring Usher was somehow stolen and leaked publicly.

Today, TMZ is reporting the reported sex tape contains explicit intimate moments between Usher and his ex-wife, Tameka Foster.

Let me bring in Bonnie Fuller. She is the president and editor-in-chief of "HollywoodLife.com."

Bonnie, I`ve been asking this as long as I`ve been doing the show, when will celebrities learn, you do a sex tape, put it in a vault - I don`t care - it`s going to get out?

FULLER: It`s amazing. I just don`t know why celebrities do sex tape anymore and to leave it in a car, apparently. Apparently, the thought is that it was left in his car and the car was burgled.

I mean, why would you leave it there? It`s like you want it to get found.

HAMMER: Well, that`s what I`m always thinking. You know, when the Kim Kardashian sex tape came out, you know, I don`t think she was all that upset about it even though she acted all upset about it. And that`s the thing, because there was a time when a celebrity sex tape obviously could ruin a star`s career.

Let me go to Z100 radio host, Trey Morgan. Trey, if there is an Usher sex tape out there, personally, I don`t think it would really hurt him. He is a big sex appeal type of image. Probably, it would help him. I don`t know.

TREY MORGAN, RADIO HOST, Z100: I think it would help both of them actually. I think it will help her, Tameka Foster, get a little more notoriety, and it helps Usher with his whole sexy, very romantic guy - well, as long as it`s a romantic kind of sex tape.

HAMMER: Yes. Yes. We don`t know exactly what`s going on in this thing.

MORGAN: But yes, I think it helps both of them, actually. I think it`s a good thing for both of them.

HAMMER: There`s often that sort of collateral - I don`t know - acceleration somebody else`s career when these things get out there.

Now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT did reach out to Usher. As of show time, we have not heard back. And I have to get to another SHOWBIZ star shocker that`s making news today - Jake Gyllenhaal`s bathroom brawl.

Listen to this. Jake was out promoting his new movie in Austin when nature called. So Jake went to the bathroom, only to get ambushed by a fan who was snapping a photo. Now, Jake reportedly confronted the fan. The picture is now deleted. And look, I understand that fans get very excited, but this is just way over the line.

I mean, Bonnie, taking a celebrity`s picture in the bathroom, you know, getting very happy to do that and excited and you break out the cell phone cam. Really? I mean, come on.

FULLER: That is crossing the line. That is just going too far. But you know, Jake handled it the right way. He confronted fan. He spoke to them. They didn`t really have a brawl.

And after some discussion, the picture was deleted. And later, he laughed about it. He was open and he laughed about it.

HAMMER: Yes. Jake`s a good guy. I`m happy to hear that he handled it exactly as you would expect from him. But you know, Trey, you`re around some big music stars sometimes. You`re around other celebrities. Would you ever consider walking into a bathroom and say, "There you go, it`s Usher"?

MORGAN: There`s guy code, and there are two places where guys keep their eyes up. That`s the locker room and bathroom.

HAMMER: Yes.

MORGAN: And that includes camera lenses. So absolutely not. I think bathroom always off limits. Always.

HAMMER: And by the way, don`t even take your camera or your phone out in the bathroom. I actually see people, you know, when nature calls on the phone - never mind. I don`t want to get into any of that at all.

Just when we thought we had reached the pinnacle of shocking, we have a hair-raising shocker today. Can we put this up, please, Chris?

It`s Kate Winslet and Katherine Heigl. Here they are, showing off their new shorter and blonder `dos. Personally, looking at this, I think they both look just amazing.

But I`ve got to ask if these `dos are great, or if they`re huge don`ts. So Bonnie, let me start with you. Please analyze for us, because, you know, women in particular, when other women change the hair, I have noticed - I`m just saying. I don`t want, you know, to cast generalities - that they`re very quick to criticize and say, "Oh, I don`t like she did that."

FULLER: I think they`re both fantastic and I can tell you that the "HollywoodLife.com" readers, they love Kate Winslet`s `do. We had it up on the front page of the site, and people were clicking like crazy.

I think it reenergizes her image. She`s 35 years old - time for a makeover. Same with Katherine Heigl. You know, you want to get people thinking about you again? Cut off your hair.

HAMMER: Yes, that`s an easy way and people talk about it. So you didn`t get anybody on there on "HollywoodLife.com" saying, "Oh, bad idea?"

FULLER: No, they`re running to their own hair salons with those pictures and saying, "Give me a Katherine or a Kate `do."

HAMMER: All right. Trey, off to you for a man`s perspective here. I know you`re a great hairstyle expert yourself. So please fill us in. What do you think?

MORGAN: Well, I think Kate Winslet looks hotter than ever with the new `do. I think this is a big hit for her. And I think Katherine Heigl looks great. And I think much like Jennifer Aniston`s "Friends" - that hairdo then, I think we`re going to see a lot of people will be cropped, blond `do this summer.

HAMMER: Yes.

MORGAN: I think that`s going to be the hairstyle, yes.

HAMMER: See, he knows exactly what he`s talking about. I think the guy is - I have no idea. I do think they both look great. And it will be very interesting to see if people do, in fact, start copying these new `dos. Thank you very much, Bonnie Fuller, Trey Morgan. I appreciate it.

All right. Did you see this? The ladies of "The Talk" get slammed by "Saturday Night Live." Now, my buddies over at "The View" have gotten the "SNL" treatment for years now.

I guess it`s only fair that they`re taking on "The Talk." There are similarities between the two daytime shows. So you have to watch as the "SNL" cast members and hilarious host Zach Galifianakis went to town on that very fact that they`re similar.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: There`s a ton of interesting things going on in the news that we could discuss, but we won`t because this is "The Talk."

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes, we leave all the politics and relevant crap to that other show, which I won`t mention, the frigging "View."

ZACH GALIFIANAKIS, ACTOR: Excuse me. Excuse me. I have a question.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes, what`s your question?

GALIFIANAKIS: When are Barbara Walters and the girls coming out?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Unfortunately, this is not "The View." It`s "The Talk."

GALIFIANAKIS: Well, you should consider calling your show "The Trick," because you trick people, and in one case, ruined their birthday!

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That`s pretty good. By the way, Zach is getting rave reviews for hosting "SNL." He`s actually being compared already to two of the show`s all-time favorite hosts, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin.

OK. Justin Timberlake, obviously another huge star who always kills on "SNL." He`s so talented. Well, J.T. is making news today. He`s hooking up with his ex-girlfriend, Cameron Diaz, again.

I said it - they`re hooking up. You`ve got to see what they`re up to, coming up next. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Here comes the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

HAMMER: Well, Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz are reuniting. No, not exactly. The newly-single Justin isn`t really rebounding with his ex. But Cam and Justin are hooking up on the big screen in a hilarious new comedy. Here now your SHOWBIZ TONIGHT first look at "Bad Teacher."

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: So stupid.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Hey, Elizabeth You want to like grab a bite sometime?

DIAZ: You`re still a gym teacher?

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: I am, yes.

TIMBERLAKE: Hey, guys!

DIAZ: So did you and your wife just move to town?

TIMBERLAKE: I`m not married. I actually just got out of a relationship. She has such a big heart.

DIAZ: Enormous. If I get a new pair of boobs, he`d be all over me, but they`re really expensive.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: You`ve got to get two of them.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: Who knows? Maybe you`ll win the bonus.

DIAZ: What bonus?

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: Which ever teacher has the highest scoring class gets a bonus.

DIAZ: Things are about to change around here. Recess is over.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: We`re having our carwash this weekend. Last year`s carwash raised $6,000.

DIAZ: Let`s do this.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Whoa.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Laura Listen`s(ph) dad called. He said we should have a carwash every weekend.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: There is no way that LeBron will ever beat Jordan. Call me when LeBron has six championships.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: That`s your only argument?

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: It`s the only argument I need, Sean.

DIAZ: Who has the answer to my question?

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: You.

UNIDENTIFIED CHILD ACTOR: Oh, man.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Oh, wait. "Twilight" - what did we talk about in class? Don`t throw at her. Throw through her.
