ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show breaks news right now.

(MUSIC)

Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.

BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Hi, there, everyone, I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive, Charlie Sheen`s comic catastrophe.

Right now, for the very first time, you are going to hear from the guy who got the absolute worst gig in show business. He`s the comedian who opened for Charlie Sheen at Sheen`s debacle in Detroit when he kicked off his "Violent Torpedo of Truth" tour.

And this guy was booed so badly, so viciously, that Charlie had to come to his rescue. Yes, Charlie Sheen had to end the boos. And I`m not talking about that kind of boos. Let`s watch the boom-bardment.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

FOX: Charlie`s going to be here in a second. We`ve just got to get together as a team. Let me just get through this story. If I get through these stories, Charlie will be here in one second.

(BOOING)

I haven`t even gotten to the joke and you`re already booing. Oh, my god -

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: ouch. That had to hurt. With me in Hollywood is comedian Kirk Fox who got a boo-boo to remember. Kirk, just watching that, I`ve got to say it`s brutal. On stage, there you were, thousands of people booing you. What were you thinking? What was going through your mind?

FOX: Actually, as I watch it, it doesn`t seem as bad as I thought it was.

ANDERSON: It felt worse at the time, huh, than it actually was?

FOX: No. The truth is I didn`t get booed off stage. I just got booed on stage. Off stage, everyone was very nice to me. And it really wasn`t a catastrophe -

ANDERSON: Everybody was cool off stage.

FOX: And it wasn`t really a catastrophe. I mean, the way you guys set it up, you make it like it was the worst gig. I actually - I enjoyed it. You learned a lot from it and because of that I`m here. If it had gone well, I don`t think I`d be on CNN. Right?

ANDERSON: Well, I`m sorry that it took your enduring that to get here. And Kirk, next time it won`t take something like that for you to be here, I just want you to know that. And technically, you`re right, you didn`t get booed off stage. It was on.

But, Kirk, I just want everybody to know you`re not some sort of beginner here taking the stage for the first time. You`ve done the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" - no booing there.

You`ve got that recurring role on NBC`s "Parks and Recreation." You`ve got a Comedy Central appearance coming up this month. You are no slouch. So why do you think the crowd reacted to you like that?

FOX: Listen - well, first of all, I am a bit of a slouch. And they went after me because they wanted Charlie. That`s all there is to it. I don`t think anybody could have gone out there and not received that welcome that I got. I`m a mere mortal and they wanted a warlock.

ANDERSON: Ah -

FOX: They wanted him immediately.

ANDERSON: Usually, crowds are more generous to the opening acts. They were just brutal to you. At one point during your opening act, speaking of Charlie, he came out himself on stage before his show to try to help you with your disaster with the crowd. Let`s take a look at that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

FOX: Charlie said he`s not going to pay me if I don`t do at least 15 minutes.

CHARLIE SHEEN, ACTOR: This man is here to help. Please let him do so. I have to change into something sexier and do my (EXPLETIVE DELETED) hair or not. Celebrate this man. I`ll be right back, I promise.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: All right. But you continued on stage after Charlie Sheen came out. You stayed on. Kirk, you should win a medal for bravery for that. Did his appearance at that point make things better or worse?

FOX: Well, listen, they were happy to see him. They knew he was in the building. But then, they wanted more of Charlie. So he came out, he gave me a Snickers, which was very nice but it was a mini-Snickers.

I probably needed a bigger one or maybe 5,000 of them for the audience. But he gave it a shot but it fired them up. They didn`t want to laugh at my stuff.

Most of my stuff takes a while - takes a while - some of my stuff is probably funny to Detroit now. It takes about three or four days. I`m a delayed reaction on most of my jokes.

ANDERSON: Oh, I see. Well, it just seemed like a no-win situation for you.

FOX: See, that one -

ANDERSON: Yes. It was with me, too, I guess. But Kirk, I`ve got to tell you, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter was at Detroit`s Fox Theater for that show. She saw firsthand what happened to you up there. And Kareen, you saw every painful second. Was it as bad as it looked?

KAREEN WYNTER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT: Brooke, I have to say I`ve never, ever experienced anything like this. I was cringing in my seat along with fans.

There were people all around me, not just booing, but - remember, this is a crowd and Detroit`s a really tough city. They had been drinking all night long and I could feel the tension building.

ANDERSON: And you`re talking about Charlie, right, not Kirk? You`re talking about Charlie?

WYNTER: Absolutely. I`m talking about Charlie. But before Charlie hit the stage and Kirk was, you know, doing his thing, you could feel the tension building, Brooke. And I kept thinking, is this going to get violent? Are people going to start throwing things at him? It was just a really sorry display.

FOX: It was the "Violent Torpedo of Truth" tour.

ANDERSON: That`s true. That was the name of the show. Well, Kareen and I have chatted. She`s got a really burning question for you, Kirk. So Kareen, ask away.

WYNTER: You know, Kirk. You`re such a personable guy. I actually like you a lot better on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT than I did on Saturday.

Saturday, buddy, was just not working, but this wasn`t your first show. And it seemed just like Charlie`s performance that night, he didn`t put any effort into it at all. It seemed as if you did not even put any effort as well. Was that really the best material you could come up with?

FOX: I didn`t know if I had come up with any material. Did I even get to a joke? I don`t remember.

WYNTER: I don`t think so. I don`t think you got to anything.

ANDERSON: Poor guy. Well, Kirk -

FOX: Well, then we don`t know if it was good material or not.

ANDERSON: That`s right. You didn`t even get to use your material.

(CROSS TALK)

FOX: So it was my best material at that moment.

ANDERSON: That you didn`t get to use.

FOX: But half a joke is tough to see.

ANDERSON: Well, I`ve got to ask you this -

FOX: But I like -

ANDERSON: If Charlie called you back right now, Kirk -

FOX: OK.

ANDERSON: And he said, "I want you back. I want you to be my opening act," would you do it?

FOX: Of course. I love Charlie.

ANDERSON: All right. Very quickly -

FOX: Why wouldn`t I?

ANDERSON: What were some of the jokes that you were trying to tell, but nobody heard you? Here`s your chance. Take it away.

FOX: Listen, if I tell a joke now and it doesn`t work and you boo, then Detroit`s correct. So I`m going to try not to tell any jokes here. But I will say that I look good. I will say that. I don`t really have any jokes. Maybe -

ANDERSON: How did you and Charlie get together in the first place? How did you and Charlie get hooked up in the first place? Are you friends with him?

FOX: Listen, we`re both athletes. I think we have that kindred spirit. And I`m good at baseball and tennis and I think he respected the athletic nature of me.

ANDERSON: OK. All right.

FOX: Maybe I was funny. I used to be funny before Detroit.

ANDERSON: Was that a joke? I think you`re funny.

FOX: No, that wasn`t a joke.

ANDERSON: OK. All right, Kirk. We will leave it there. Really nice to meet you. And I do want to say, again, comedian Kirk Fox is making a return appearance this month on NBC`s "Parks and Recreation."

He will be on the April 21st episode of John Oliver`s New York standup show on "Comedy Central." So Kirk, best of luck in everything you do. Good to meet you.

FOX: OK. Thank you. You were great as well.

ANDERSON: Take care. Hey, Joy Behar and Star Jones face to face for the very first time since Star`s explosive "View" exit. So would Star ever return to the "View"?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JOY BEHAR, HOST, "THE JOY BEHAR SHOW": Would you come back as a guest if you were invited?

STAR JONES, FORMER CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": Right now, in the middle of "Satan`s Sisters"? Somebody should read the book so that you`d know what you`re talking about.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Joy is right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Have she and Star really buried the hatchet?

HAMMER: The shocking new Paris Hilton-Kim Kardashian showdown. Explosive claims coming from Paris` mom that Kim copied Paris. Our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint today - who is the biggest star, Paris or Kim?

ANDERSON: Christina Aguilera`s blockbuster new confessions about overcoming her terrible year. Her Super Bowl bomb. Her divorce. Her arrest. What Christina is saying today, ahead. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: It is time for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Angelina Jolie travels to Libya-Tunisia border to support refugees. Ashley Judd reveals why she wrote about abusive childhood in her book.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ASHLEY JUDD, ACTRESS: That section of the book for me is about hope, resilience and recovery. But it doesn`t make any sense to share my recovery unless I`m also willing, you know, to share some of the uncomfortable things that set me up to need help.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

S. JONES: Something`s been on my heart for a little bit. And after much prayer and counsel, I feel like this is the right time to tell you that the show`s moving in another direction for its 10th season and I will not be returning as co-host next year.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Star Jones stunned everybody, including co-host Joy Behar, when she announced on live TV she would be leaving "The View." That was in June of 2006. And for the first time since then, Joy and Star come face to face.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood, A.J. Hammer in New York. And today Star`s "View" revelations.

HAMMER: Yes. Brooke, for the very first time since Star Jones` dramatic departure from "The View," which was just great TV when it was all said and done, HLN`s Joy Behar sat down with her former "View" co-host for a riveting face-to-face interview.

Joy joining me right now from the set of the fabulous "Joy Behar Show." I want to get right into this, Joy. Were you at all nervous when you had to get on your show and rehash Star`s controversial exit from the show considering, hey, you still got a job there on "The View"?

BEHAR: No, I was not nervous in the least. I mean, we`ve come a long way. It`s about - almost five and a half years, some kind of - we had a fight over how many years it is, so I don`t even remember now.

But I think it`s around five years or four and a half. And we - basically, we`re in different places now. So I wasn`t nervous at all.

HAMMER: I mean, it was such a dramatic exit when she left "The View." I don`t think anybody expected her to go on live TV that day and announce that she was leaving the show.

BEHAR: Including us.

HAMMER: Yes. And you asked Star why she was so angry when she left "The View." I want to look at what the she told you about that.

BEHAR: OK.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

S. JONES: For the week, two weeks, three weeks prior, the network was leaking out little stuff to the media and paparazzi was at my house and ringing my doorbell and contacting my neighbors.

And it was really probably the most emotionally-destroying time of my life. I honestly was not sure that I could take it. Do you know I actually lost an additional 20 pounds?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Looking back on it all now, did you realize that was all going on at the time?

BEHAR: Maybe I`ll try that diet.

HAMMER: Might cost you a job, but go ahead.

ANDERSON: Well, I believe that she told "People" magazine ahead of time, so that`s how it went down. We did - I did not know she was leaving that day. She was supposed to announce that she was leaving further down the week or the following week.

So that`s why I said I was shocked because I had - sort of knew she was going to be gone, but I didn`t know she would say it at that point. So -

HAMMER: So what was it like actually sitting down with her and speaking with her for the first time in five years? Because, quite frankly, I know what it`s like to interview Star. And she will be as sweet as pie to get exactly what she wants out of an interview.

You know that, except you have that kind of history so she`s not going to play that kind of game with you, I don`t think.

BEHAR: Well, we do have a lot of history. And you know, here`s the thing - I was there, she was there. I was there. I wasn`t here at the time.

HAMMER: Right.

BEHAR: So I know exactly what happened. So it`s very hard to have a conversation with somebody and from her point of view and say things that maybe were not true.

HAMMER: Yes.

BEHAR: She was very good. I thought she was very forthcoming. She`s come a long way.

HAMMER: Yes. She can`t go after (INAUDIBLE).

BEHAR: She looks much better. She`s lost all that weight. She admitted to me that, you know - that she was lying about being comfortable being an overweight - morbidly-obese woman. She uses those words, "morbidly obese."

HAMMER: Right. You know, it was very interesting to see how candid she was about stuff that, quite frankly, she had told differently to me when I had spoken to her back in that time.

But you asked her the question that everyone wanted the answer to. Will she ever be a guest on "The View." Let`s watch what she told you about that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BEHAR: Would you come back as a guest if you were invited?

S. JONES: Right now, in the middle of "Satan`s Sisters," somebody should read the book so that you`d know what to talk about. But of course, I`d come. You invite me, I`ll be there.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right -

BEHAR: That book -

HAMMER: Listen, I know you don`t book the guests on "The View," Joy.

BEHAR: I do not.

HAMMER: But now that you`ve sat down with her here on HLN and spoke with her, do you think it would be a good idea to have her on? Because, personally, I think it would be a fantastically tense show.

BEHAR: It would be tense and would you enjoy it.

HAMMER: Yes.

BEHAR: But would I?

HAMMER: But your audience would enjoy it. I don`t know if you`d enjoy it, but do you think it`s a good idea?

BEHAR: Look, I want to go back to what I said. I really do not book that show. We have had people on that show. Donald Trump wrote something nasty about me in his book. We had him back, OK?

Perez Hilton said nasty things against Elisabeth. We had him on. So she`s no different from everybody else, not that she said nasty things.

HAMMER: Yes.

BEHAR: I`m just saying there`s water under the bridge -

HAMMER: OK.

BEHAR: And we have them back. It`s really not that big a deal -

HAMMER: But here`s the thing -

BEHAR: But I`m not the one who is going to book her -

HAMMER: I know that. I know that.

BEHAR: So keep me out of this.

HAMMER: I`m going to put you on the spot. No, I`m going to keep you on the spot. I`ve got to go. If you would raise your hand and say, "Yes, have her on `The View,`" would you?

BEHAR: I will take that question under advisement.

HAMMER: OK. I`ll talk to you about that in the elevator. Joy Behar, thank you so much. Tonight, you have a great interview - I can`t wait to see it - with Kate Gosselin.

BEHAR: Yes.

HAMMER: We`re going to find out all about if she`s ready to date or not and what ideas you have for that, live 10:00 p.m. Eastern here on HLN. Thanks, Joy.

BEHAR: Thank you, A.J., and bye-bye.

ANDERSON: A.J., you tried. OK, Charlie Sheen spoofs Charlie Sheen. You know, I really have to hand it to Charlie. At least the guy can laugh at himself. Check out this take on his bizarre "ABC News" interview.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ANDREA CANNING, ABC NEWS CORRESPONDENT: Are you on anything right now? Are you willing to take a drug test? You love to party. Tell me about the last time you took drugs?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Is this Sheen spoof funny or just plain sad? Life after "Twilight." I go one-on-one with "Twilight" star, Robert Pattinson. His revelations today about what he will miss as the "Twilight" movies come to an end, next.

ANDERSON: Rosie O`Donnell`s shocking defense of Chris Brown today. Listen to what she just said.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

ROSIE O`DONNELL, MEDIA PERSONALITY: I can name 25 stars who trash dressing rooms, who trash hotel rooms. I just don`t know why this kid seems to be held to a different standard than anyone else.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Rosie`s even saying there might be racism here. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Miranda Lambert working on TV drama based on her childhood.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: Right now, my revealing SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview with Robert Pattinson. Robert`s starring in a new film with Reese Witherspoon. It`s called "Water for Elephants."

He`s also wrapping up the "Twilight" saga, "Breaking Down." It`s a two- part movie that will be the end of the film series. So I had to ask him how does he feel about finishing the series that really made him a huge star.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

(on camera) A lot of people are sorry to see the "Twilight" franchise come to an end. What will you miss about it and what won`t you miss about it? I read that you won`t miss the contacts, trying to put them in every day.

ROBERT PATTINSON, ACTOR: Yes. That`s like one of the biggest things. I mean, just doing it may be like this when you can actually have your face - like, your face and your eyes are fairly important being in movies.

I mean, it`s actually taken away from you in the "Twilight" things quite severely. So yes, it`s going to be - it`s nice doing without that. But I don`t know. I mean, I know the people so well. It`s so familiar to me.

Yes. I think I`ll miss the people a lot. And also it`s just like going to school, doing that. I mean, I`ll miss a lot of things.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: He was a really nice guy. "Twilight: Breaking Dawn" hits theaters in two parts, part one this November and then part two in 2012. And "Water for Elephants" is out, April 22nd.

HAMMER: Right now, SHOWBIZ breaks news from the orange carpet at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. Mariah`s munchies. Now, Mariah`s expecting her twins any day now. But her husband Nick Cannon left her side for just a little bit to be a presenter at the Kids Choice Awards.

Well, we asked the dad-to-be what has Mama Mariah been craving lately?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

NICK CANNON, MARIAH CAREY`S HUSBAND: Candied apples in the middle of the night. That`s a different one, right? That`s just a little strange.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Is she making you go out and get those?

CANNON: I had to. I think we`re past the whole craving stage now. Now, she don`t even want to eat anything.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Nick just told "People" magazine that he and Mariah have been overwhelmed with gifts, mostly stuffed animals of all shapes and sizes. In fact, he says their nursery looks likes Noah`s ark.

ANDERSON: Oh, well. That`s appropriate. They came two by two.

OK. And now, the SHOWBIZ lineup - here`s what`s coming up on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

Charlie spoofs Charlie.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CANNING: Are you on anything right now? Are you willing to take a drug test? You love to party. Tell me about the last time did you drugs.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Charlie Sheen`s unbelievable new spoof of himself. We`ve got to ask today is this funny or just plain lame?

And Miley Cyrus` shocking admission today. She is back on Twitter to follow Charlie Sheen. Pretty cool or not?

And the new Paris Hilton-Kim Kardashian showdown. Explosive claims, reportedly from Paris`s mother, that Kim copied Paris. So who is the bigger star, Paris or Kim? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: It`s time for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Lady Gaga to give part of profits from "Born This Way" country mix to gay rights group. SHOWBIZ first look! Michael Buble`s wedding pictures.

HAMMER: Big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - Charlie spoofs Charlie. Charlie Sheen`s hilarious spoof of his wacky "20/20" interview.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CANNING: Are you on anything right now? Are you willing to take a drug test? You love to party. Tell me the last time you took drugs.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: But is Charlie really winning? Is this thing funny or just plain sad?

ANDERSON: The shocking new Paris Hilton-Kim Kardashian showdown. Explosive claims from Paris` mom that Kim copied Paris reportedly. Our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint today - who is the bigger star, Paris or Kim?

HAMMER: Christina Aguilera`s blockbuster confessions today about overcoming her terrible year. Her Super Bowl bomb. Her arrest. Why it`s all making Christina laugh.

Plus, breaking today from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker," your first look at Britney Spears` new video. And the SHOWBIZ truth squad sets the record straight. Is Justin Timberlake dating Olivia Wilde?

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - Charlie spoofs Charlie.

HAMMER: Yes. Sheen taking on Sheen, Brooke. Today, in a brand-new, and I`ve got to say, pretty bizarre new video spoof his now-infamous interview on ABC`s "20/20." You remember that, right?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CANNING: When was the last time you used?

SHEEN: I do not remember.

CANNING: A week ago? Two weeks ago?

SHEEN: A month ago. Six weeks. I don`t know.

CANNING: Are you willing to take a drug test?

SHEEN: Sure. You`ve got a cup? I have nothing to hide.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. Remember that? Yes. That was the first time everybody got a taste of Charlie Sheen`s explosive new persona as the winning warlock. But now, in a brand-new online spoof that Charlie posted on YouTube, he pokes fun at his chain smoking and his bizarre catch phrases during that interview. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CANNING: When was the last time you used?

SHEEN: Whoa, whoa, whoa, reminder. Tiger blood, Adonis DNA. You, booger blood. Poo-poo DNA.

CANNING: When was the last time you used? When was the last time you used? Are you on anything right now? Are you willing to take a drug test? You love to party. Tell me about the last time you took drugs. Tell me about the last time you took drugs.

SHEEN: Well, it was when I was (EXPLETIVE DELETED) Wall Street. We were doing "Two and a Half Men." (EXPLETIVE DELETED). What the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) is that? (EXPLETIVE DELETED) that. (EXPLETIVE DELETED) that.

CANNING: Are you willing to take a drug test?

SHEEN: That`s about the dumbest question in the world. Obviously, I`m Batman.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. I mean, I`m laughing, but at the same time it`s a little sad to me. And if you thought that was all ridiculous, he actually gets into a little synchronized swimming later in the video, if you can believe that.

I`m glad Charlie is having a good time at his own expense. He can poke fun at himself with all that is going on in his life.

But let me bring in radio and TV host, Michael Billy. OK, Michael, having sat here with me and watched that video, and you were laughing through it.

But do you get the impression that Charlie knows exactly what he`s doing with the whole tiger blood and Adonis DNA, that he`s like the magician behind the curtain? Or do you think that he`s really, really definitely showing how messed up he is?

MICHAEL BILLY, TV AND RADIO HOST: When it comes to the videos, I think he absolutely has an idea or people around him have a good idea. When it comes to the stage show, absolutely not.

But look, you don`t have to be brilliant to be on the Internet. I love Keyboard Cat, OK? Keyboard cat is hysterical. Everybody loves Keyboard Cat. That doesn`t mean it`s terribly funny or great.

Him poking fun at himself is the best way to get out of this. Just let people in on the joke.

HAMMER: I guess so. And by the end of our show today, I`m sure Keyboard Cat will be playing Charlie Sheen out. The video is something that Charlie is playing during his "Violent Torpedo of Truth" tour, a tour that he`s bringing to Cleveland tonight.

And the tour, quite frankly, did get a lot better after his last stop in Chicago. I want to go out to Chicago right now. Kelli Zink is the host of "CelebTV.com."

And Kelli, you spoke with Charlie Sheen in Chicago. When you look at this video and what happened in Detroit, which was a mess, what do you make of what Charlie is doing here? Do you get it?

KELLI ZINK, HOST, "CELEBTV.COM": I get that he`s trying to sell more tickets because ticket sales are going down the drain. New York has lowered their prices, even Chicago. The theater wasn`t all full.

So I think, now, he`s kind of desperate to do anything and get that tour rolling. He still has, what, 19 more shows. So he`s got to make those tickets go.

HAMMER: Well, let me get to some more Charlie Sheen world domination news right now, because it keeps on coming. It is reportedly that Charlie is going to try and trademark some of his now famous catch phrases, you know, "Duh, winning," "Vatican assassin," tiger blood," "rock star from Mars." That`s just to name a few, something I`m not surprised by.

But as we know, when you apply for a trademark, one of the reasons you do it is you expect that it`s going to be around for a while. Michael Billy, I quite frankly have a hard time believing people are going to be saying "duh, winning," you know, coming up in a year from now. I certainly hope not.

BILLY: Yes. I think remember Paris Hilton trying to do that with "That`s so hot" or something along those lines.

HAMMER: Right.

BILLY: Look, when people do think, I have to think they`re creating the hype. And if anything that we can credit Charlie for, it`s creating hype out of nothing, out of something that`s kind of really sad. So let`s give him that.

HAMMER: I`m with you on that. Brooke Anderson, there is so much more buzz going on today.

ANDERSON: Absolutely. And Michael, A.J., Kelli, Charlie Sheen really is his own inspiration, right? But is Charlie inspiring Miley Cyrus, too? Did Miley just rejoin Twitter because of Charlie Sheen?

Also Keanu Reeves is gearing up for a brand-new excellent adventure. And Kirstie Alley gives SHOWBIZ TONIGHT the behind-the-scenes scoop on her dancing fall. It`s all making big news in "The Buzz Today."

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) Kirstie Alley`s dancing disaster. It was a wipeout for alley on last night`s "Dancing with the Stars" when her partner, Maksim Chmerkovsky`s leg gave out during their routine.

They quickly recovered and finished the dance, earning a score of 21 out of 30 from the judges. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there after the show and the pair revealed to us that the show just had to go on.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KIRSTIE ALLEY, ACTRESS AND "DANCING WITH THE STARS" CONTESTANT: It was him. I didn`t know what to do. And he just said, "Keep dancing. Let`s dance." So I sort of felt like, yes! Keep dancing.

ANDERSON: Bill and Ted`s new adventure. Keanu Reeves just revealed a new sequel to "Bill and Ted`s Excellent Adventures" may be weeks away. He told MTV the writers are just six weeks away from finishing up their first draft on the new film.

Reeves starred in the original 1989 film and in the 1991 sequel, "Bill and Ted`s Bogus Journey."

Miley`s Twitter comeback for Charlie Sheen? Miley Cyrus is back on Twitter under her Gypsy Heart Tours account. Miley says, "Duh, it`s because of Charlie Sheen." She tweeted, "Yo guys, it`s M.C. P.S., I am taking over the Gypsy Heart Twitter. Got to keep you posted on tour. Come see me."

Then she tweeted, "Do not fear. The Sheenius is here! I`m not going to lie. I came back to Twitter for two reasons, my fans and to follow Charlie Sheen. #Winning."

(END VIDEOTAPE)

OK. So Miley`s back on Twitter because of Charlie Sheen? Really? Michael Billy, do you really think the sole reason Miley Cyrus decided to rejoin Twitter - well, in addition to her fans - but mainly was because of Charlie Sheen? What?

BILLY: Hey, Miley, bad role model. Geez. It`s like ever since she was dancing in that bird cage, then the salvia thing with the bong - just stop it. Get off the Twitter. Learn from Charlie and take a step back. You`re going on tour. How much attention do you need?

ANDERSON: Well, let us not forget that Miley left the Twitter verse because she wanted privacy. But I think she`s calling a whole lot of attention to herself linking herself to Charlie Sheen here.

So our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint is this - Miley Cyrus back on Twitter, a bad idea? Kelli Zink, I think I think Miley needed a break, so she took one. I say, you know, for whatever reason, she`s back, so welcome back. But do you think it`s a bad idea?

ZINK: Brooke, it`s a horrible idea. I mean, I was at that after-party with Charlie Sheen. I watched the kind of people that wanted to come hang out with him. He showed up with gold teeth and some porn stars.

If that`s who Miley wants at her show, this kind of crowd, that kind of vibe - I don`t think it`s who she wants. She has to go back to those fans who loved her in the first place. And she`s got to get that wholesome vibe back, wholesome with a grownup twist. But still, she needs to go back to the fans who made her famous to begin with.

ANDERSON: We may have gone a little too far for that, Kelli. I don`t know if there`s any turning back at this point, unfortunately. I hope so. I`m with you, though.

Michael, do you think that those are the sort of people that Miley wants to associate herself with at her shows, to Kelli`s point? Or do you think maybe she just wants to be entertained by Charlie and by his tweets?

BILLY: Well, you know, she`s young still so maybe she still wants to be entertained by Charlie like the rest of us. But I`ve got to be honest - it`s been a dark year for all those Miley fans. Today alone, I learned she had chicken by the pool.

ANDERSON: We`ll leave it there. Michael Billy, Kelli Zink, thank you both.

HAMMER: Yes. The old chicken by the pool. All right. Moving on to Paris Hilton versus Kim Kardashian. So is Kim a big old copycat? The explosive claims from Paris` mom today. Plus, our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - who is a bigger star, Paris or Kim?

ANDERSON: Christina Aguilera`s blockbuster confessions today about her terrible year. Her Super Bowl fumble. Her late-night drinking arrest. Why is it all making Christina laugh?

HAMMER: Chris Brown`s surprising new fan - Rosie O`Donnell. Yes. Rosie defending Chris after his outrageous and violent "GMA" outburst.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

O`DONNELL: I can name 25 stars who trash dressing rooms, who trash hotel rooms. I just don`t know why this kid seems to be held to a different standard than anyone else.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I`ve got something to say about that. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: "Glee" creator regrets insulting Kings of Leon in Twitter tirade. SHOWBIZ first look! Britney Spears video for "Till the World Ends."

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. A.J. Hammer is in New York. And this just in today, Paris versus Kim.

HAMMER: Yes. The battle of the century here, Brooke. It`s Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian and a big old showdown today with a twist. So how did this battle even start?

Well, I think Whoopi Goldberg explained how it all went down very well this morning on "The View." So watch Whoopi.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WHOOPI GOLDBERG, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": (INAUDIBLE) I can just tell you, girls, that I read in the "New York Post" that Paris Hilton`s mom, Kathy, was overheard saying her daughter is the original reality star and that Kim Kardashian copied everything that Paris has ever done?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Wait a second. There`s even more to report. According to this report, Paris` mom made sure to point out that Kim used to work for Paris as her stylist back in the day and that she and all of the other reality stars should basically be kissing Paris` feet for paving the way.

Let me bring in entertainment journalist, Taryn Winter Brill. Taryn, do you think that Kim should be thanking Paris Hilton for her career, or is that just absurd?

TARYN WINTER BRILL, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST: I think it`s a little absurd and it`s a little cuckoo. Clearly, Mrs. Hilton has a case of sour grapes. I think she`s a little envious of Kim`s career hoping that Paris would have followed in her footsteps. Perhaps, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" should have been "Keep Up with the Hiltons."

But I do think we have to, you know, give Kim a little credit. Sure, Paris may have introduced her to the red carpet. But Kim, then, capitalized on that fame -

HAMMER: Yes.

BRILL: And created this empire.

HAMMER: Yes.

BRILL: Paris hasn`t done that and she has her niche, so to speak.

HAMMER: You ask me, no feet-kissing necessary at all between these two.

BRILL: Yes. No feet. Right.

HAMMER: Well, HLN`s own Joy Behar, I think, put this whole Paris-Kim smackdown into a very interesting perspective this morning on "The View." Watch what happened.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BEHAR: So wait a minute, Kim Kardashian - Paris Hilton`s mother is saying, "My daughter made a sex tape before yours." She`s a proud mother.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I mean, you know, where`s the lack of pride there? Late today, we received this statement from Paris` mom Kathy.

Here`s what she says, "We`ve known Kim since she and Paris were young girls playing together. We are all proud of all that Paris has achieved and we are pleased that Kim has also become very successful."

OK. So Kathy not addressing reported comments there and she`s not exactly denying the comments at the same time.

Let me bring in Brian Balthazar who is an editor with "PopGoesTheWeek.com." Brian, I`m putting you on the spot right now. Who is the biggest star, Paris or Kim?

BRIAN BALTHAZAR, EDITOR, "POPGOESTHEWEEK.COM": The reason Kim is the bigger star is because of Paris. Paris is a - for lack for a better - she is pioneer because she made less stigma attached to a sex tape. I`m just going to say it. Kim is now the bigger star, and it is somewhat due because of Paris.

HAMMER: OK. So you`re giving them both credit.

BALTHAZAR: I`m giving props. Kim is the bigger star.

HAMMER: All right.

BALTHAZAR: She doesn`t have the arrest problem.

(CROSS TALK)

HAMMER: You said.

BRILL: She`s got the bigger booty.

(CROSS TALK)

HAMMER: I`m going to move on from that because we`re not voting on her booty tonight in the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll.

However, this is the question we`re asking, "Paris Hilton`s Mom Reportedly Disses Kim Kardashian: Who is the biggest star?" Not the biggest booty. Paris or Kim Kardashian? Keep voting at CNN.com/ShowbizTonight.

But right now, I must move on to this. Just in today, Christina Aguilera`s blockbuster new confessions today. Brooke, what is going on here?

ANDERSON: A.J., Christina really opens up about overcoming the rough patches that she`s had this year. In a brand-new interview with "Us Weekly" magazine, Christina seems to be addressing all of her recent public missteps.

She says this, "I`ve gone through a really hard divorce and anyone who has gone through a divorce will speak about how hard the journey is from start to finish."

"It`s a life uprooting time and there have been hiccups along the way that unfortunately the whole world gets to witness and judge. I can laugh by my own hiccups and own experiences in life because I`m getting through it."

OK. Christina was not clear which hiccups in particular she was talking about. But we know one of her very public missteps included a recent trip to jail for public intoxication.

So Taryn, do you think that Christina needs to publicly be a little by more direct, take more straightforward responsibility for her mistakes?

BRILL: Well, I think she realizes like, you said, we all know what these hiccups were. And hiccups is a nice way of being able to say, "I did something wrong. I just don`t want to specifically, you know, reiterate it."

I am surprised though, Brooke, that NBC is keeping her on the upcoming show, the singing competition, because, frankly, getting arrested for public intoxication is a big hiccup.

But perhaps, they`re saying, you know, "Christina, come out. Say you`ve done wrong. And when you do mentor these kids, you know, upcoming, you can speak from your personal experience," as in her hiccups, so to speak.

ANDERSON: Yes. And she says she wants to use her own life in her mentoring of these contestants to help them in a way. And in this new interview, you know, Christina is clearly admitting that her life has been turned upside down since her divorce.

So hopefully, she is handling the changes in her life well and, of course, we wish her the very best. I`m looking forward to "The Voice," her new reality show. We`ll see how it goes. Taryn Winter Brill, Brian Balthazar, thank you both.

HAMMER: Moving on, Chris Brown`s got a new fan, Rosie O`Donnell. But what she`s saying today might actually tick off some of her fans. You`ve got to hear what Rosie is saying on the radio and on Twitter about Chris`s "GMA" outburst.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

O`DONNELL: I can name 25 stars who trash dressing rooms, who trash hotel rooms. But I just don`t know why this kid seems to be held to a different standard than anyone else.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Rosie even says there may be some racism going on here. That is next.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: SHOWBIZ truth squad: Justin Timberlake and Olivia Wilde "just friends." Sarah Silverman finds love with a unicorn?

(MUSIC)

ANDERSON: Wow. And it is time now for the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT buzz list. Here`s what the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT staff is buzzing about this week.

We`re mad for "Mob." The extraordinary reality show about flash mobs has been picked up by Fox. "Essence" magazine is searching for the next R & B star. The winner debuts at the Essence Music Festival.

Play ball. Major league baseball is back. Check out your favorite teams on the MLB on TBS. They`re part of our family.

And we`re totally sucked in. The new "Green Lantern" trailer has been released. It looks amazing. And time to get wild again. The "Real Housewives of New York City" are back. The new season starts Thursday on Bravo. And this is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You have a perception of reality that`s completely skewed.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: No, I just see what I see.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Wow.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes, wow. I don`t understand what you`re talking about. We don`t speak in (INAUDIBLE).

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: New right now, Rosie O`Donnell defends Chris Brown today, and what she says is very controversial. Chris sparked major outrage after trashing a room backstage at "Good Morning America."

He was ticked about an interview that included questions about beating up Rihanna. Well, now, Rosie O`Donnell is sounding off about it on her Sirius XM Radio show and on Twitter. Rosie and her radio show producer feel the color of Chris` skin may be influencing the backlash.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

O`DONNELL: I can name 25 stars who trash dressing rooms, who trash hotel rooms. But I just don`t know why this kid seems to be held to a different standard than anyone else.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: And you know, I can`t help but go, is there a racist thing here? Because I think so.

O`DONNELL: I totally think there is. And I also think it`s why he felt he was safer with Robin Roberts.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: I think Rosie is missing the point here. Chris is prone to that standard because he was very violent towards a woman not that long ago who happens to be a beloved star.

And his violent "GMA" outburst happened because he didn`t like the perfectly reasonable questions he was asked, not questions to dredge up the past but to see how he`s doing with it all now.

Rosie did tweet this, "I have compassion for both he and Rihanna. It is not a simple discussion. He`s a victim, too." No, it`s not simple at all, Rosie.

ANDERSON: No, it`s not. All right. The royal wedding is just three weeks away. The wedding plans are top secret. But the folks over the Lego Land are giving us a preview of the whole shebang.

HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. This is pretty cool. Take a look at this. Prince William and Kate Middleton on the balcony of Buckingham Palace after they say "I do."

Check it out. They have styled Kate wearing gloves. That`s what the white Legos on her arms are supposed to be there. For more royal wedding secrets, go to CNN.com/UnVeil.

ANDERSON: And now, here`s your chance to enter to win a trip for two to cover the excitement of the wedding. So send us a video of why you think you should be CNN`s royal wedding iReporter like this video from Joe from Chicago, Illinois.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JOE, IREPORTER FROM CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Why would I be the perfect guy? I`m able to speak fluent English. Hello, chap. How are you? Don`t you look fine today, dapper I would say. What a lovely time it is. Would you like a spot of tea? I am also fairly familiar with the queen, of course, too.

Hello, people. Welcome to London for this most joyous, joyous occasion. It`s simply - it`s joyous, I tell you. It`s fabulous. And I`m so glad you`re all here. Thank you all.

I think I can do a pretty good interview, too. Hey, Will. Hey, buddy. Come on. Give me some dish on Kate.

Well, I think she`s fabulous. I love her. She`s a gem, I tell you, simply a gem.

ANDERSON: I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Take care.
