BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: I`m Brooke Anderson live in London with breaking news on the royal wedding.

A.J. HAMMER, CO-HOST: I`m A.J. Hammer in New York and this is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - Trump`s reality check? Donald Trump gets his wish. President Obama releases his birth certificate today.

Our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, could this actually backfire on Trump? Plus, I am one-on-one with the celebrity appresident.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

(on camera) You asked the celebrities on the show if they would vote for you if you ran for president. Did you really expect any of them to say no?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: I`m live in London trying to solve the biggest royal mystery - what will Kate wear? Plus, some of Hollywood`s biggest stars tell us what they think Kate Middleton`s wedding dress will be like.

My royal interview with Barbara Walters. Why is Barbara talking about Kate`s sex life?

HAMMER: Plus, the frenzied, last-minute royal wedding preparations today. And our royal wedding contributor is here, "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Vanderpump.

ANDERSON: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show -

HAMMER: Breaks news right now.

(MUSIC)

Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: Hi, there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson, live in London. And we are talking tonight as Prince William and Kate Middleton get ready to spend their last full day as an unmarried couple.

And A.J., the big buzz here is about the remarkable secret behind Kate`s wedding dress, the dress that the world is waiting to see at the royal wedding. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is live in London all week long for this royal fairy tale wedding.

HAMMER: Well, Brooke, speaking of fairytales, it seems that a fairytale Donald Trump hung his hat on has now smacked him upside the head as a Trump reality check.

Yes, the fairytale was this, that President Obama may not have been a United States citizen, that he was born outside the country. Well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT now brings you the reality check that reality show host Donald Trump ran into today, President Obama publicly releasing his birth certificate.

It sent the Donald into major spin control and Trump got the news just as he was testing the presidential waters in New Hampshire for the very first time. I can tell you that I just spoke with Donald Trump. You`re going to see that in just a moment.

And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is also breaking news about which contestants on his show, "Celebrity Apprentice," also told me about the potential celebrity appresident.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) It`s the most dramatic television spectacle Donald Trump has been a part of since the last time he fired someone.

DONALD TRUMP, BUSINESS TYCOON: You`re fired.

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you Trump and President Obama went mano y mano today. President Obama released the long sought birth certificate that the birthers, led by Trump, have been demanding. He isn`t happy about it.

BARACK OBAMA, UNITED STATES PRESIDENT: We do not have time for this kind of silliness.

HAMMER: But Donald Trump is very happy - with himself.

TRUMP: Today, I`m very proud of myself.

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you this is the mother of all reality checks, the president of the United States taking on a fiery controversy revved up by a reality show star who may run against him in the next presidential election.

KIM SERAFIN, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": This is a pretty big deal.

HAMMER: In his speech that the nation watched live on TV this morning, the president never mentioned Trump by name, but he did leave pretty big lines for us to read between.

OBAMA: We`re not going to be able to solve our problems if we get distracted by side-shows and carnival barkers.

SERAFIN: You have to wonder who the carnival barker he was talking about was. Could it be Donald Trump?

HAMMER: And the president tweaked Trump in another way. He happened to begin his message at the exact same time news networks were carrying a Trump media event in New Hampshire. Guess who the networks stuck to.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We`re going to leave New Hampshire and go to the Washington and White House.

TRUMP: When you put a tax -

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: There`s President Obama in the briefing room.

HAMMER: Did the president bump Trump? Could have been just a coincidence, right?

SERAFIN: That was just kind of another little nudge, I think, to Trump - don`t mess with the president.

HAMMER: Still, the president`s birth certificate release has Trump doing a victory lap, lots of victory laps.

TRUMP: I am really honored. I am really proud. I am really honored. I feel I`ve accomplished something really, really important and I`m honored by it. Honestly, I`m very proud. I am really honored by this.

HAMMER: Looks like Trump, who likes to put his name on everything, is giving the same treatment to the president`s birth certificate.

SERAFIN: It`s classic Donald Trump.

TRUMP: Obama is unwilling or unable to show his birth certificate.

HAMMER: Trump`s thumping of the birth certificate issue has led him to near the top of the poll as he decides whether to run for president.

TRUMP: Meatloaf, should I run for president?

MEATLOAF, SINGER AND "CELEBRITY APPRENTICE CONTESTANT": Absolutely.

HAMMER: On Sunday`s "Celebrity Apprentice," he playfully asked the contestants if he should run.

TRUMP: Who would not vote for me? All right. Good.

HAMMER: When I caught up with Trump at a "Celebrity Apprentice" event in New York last night, he told me their answer wasn`t a surprise to him.

(on camera) Did you really expect any of them to say no?

TRUMP: Well, they`re intelligent so I would assume they would say yes.

HAMMER (voice-over): But when I spoke with some would-be celebrity apprentices, they sounded a little less committed than they did on show.

MEATLOAF: I want to hear more from him. I`m not going to blindly give him my vote.

HAMMER (on camera): Would you support and vote for Donald Trump if he were to run?

MARLEE MATLIN, ACTRESS AND "CELEBRITY APPRENTICE CONTESTANT": I don`t bring politics into my work.

HAMMER (voice-over): But today, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is asking, who won today`s birth certificate reality check?

SERAFIN: In all of the coverage about President Obama releasing his birth certificate, Donald Trump is mentioned as the second name. You have to say this was kind of a win for Donald Trump.

On the other hand, now that the birth certificate issue is not in play, does Donald Trump really have anything to run on? So in that sense, I think President Obama won.

HAMMER: So as everyone now pores over the president`s newly-released birth certificate, one fact jumps from the page, that it has Trump`s name written all over it.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

All right. Now, a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsmaker interview with CNN legend, Larry King. Today, Larry is revealing new details about his amazingly important special report on the Alzheimer`s epidemic.

More than five million Americans are struggling to live a normal life with the disease. Earlier, I spoke with Larry about all that. And I also got his take on the big news today about his old friend, Donald Trump.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(on camera) Donald Trump is very proud of himself today, Larry. He`s so proud that he`s bragging that he`s the one who got the president to give into his birth certificate demand.

Do you think he should be proud or should he be ashamed of himself for harping on something that CNN has repeatedly shown was just plain wrong?

LARRY KING, FORMER HOST, "LARRY KING LIVE": A.J., I`m a close friend of Donald`s. I`ve known him for years, so I say this on behalf of the American people, if I may speak for the American people, thank you, Donald. Thank you, for helping us to focus on this most important issue of our times, the birthplace of our president.

Health, secondary. Economy, down the road. China, forget it. Korea, we`ll take care of that. Afghanistan, forgotten. But through the leadership of this one man who we singly owe this debt to, thank you, Donald. Thank you.

HAMMER: I was speaking with Trump last night. And look, I get that he`s a charismatic guy and that`s why people seem to let him get away with this kind of stuff.

Larry, you have interviewed Trump more times than I can count. I want to take a quick look at what Trump said at a news conference in New Hampshire today after the White House released the president`s birth certificate. Let`s look at that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TRUMP: I am really honored, frankly, to have played such a big role in hopefully, hopefully, getting rid of this issue. And you have to ask the president why didn`t he do this a long time ago? Why didn`t he do it a long time ago?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right, Larry. The winner here clearly Obama then over Trump?

KING: I would say, and I`m using the word "hopefully" - he shouldn`t have used the word there - "hopefully." Of course, it`s gone. And as Donald once said to me, "Larry, let`s stop talking about me. Let`s talk about you. What do you think of me?"

HAMMER: Yes.

KING: Donald is just - that`s Donald. I like him very much. I`ve been close to him a long time. He - off the wrong track. Did he appeal to 10 percent of the public? Yes, the 10 percent of the public was wrong.

HAMMER: Well, we know that President Obama, Larry, is famous for keeping his cool. But just after Trump gave his press conference today, the president spoke publicly. And I`m telling you, you could almost feel him saying, "Come on, Donald. Give it a rest." Let`s take a look at what the president said about Trump`s wild claims. Roll that one.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

OBAMA: We`re not going to be able to do it if we just make stuff up and pretend that facts are not facts. We`re not going to be able to solve our problems if we get distracted by side shows and carnival barkers.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: So Larry, is the release of the birth certificate Donald Trump`s reality check? Would you say this would put him in check for good?

KING: Are you kidding? Donald? He`s off on something now. No, Donald is Donald. He is what he is. My belief is, much as I like him and feel him as a friend, I don`t think he`s going to run.

Similar to what he did today, I think in late May he will make an announcement that he forced the country to focus on many other issues. He was happy to play a part in it.

And now what he will do is back off because he doesn`t want it to be about him. He wants it to be about the issues and he will support the candidate of his choice who best expresses his wishes, which are the wishes of the American people.

HAMMER: I really want to hear about your ground-breaking new special, "Unthinkable: The Alzheimer`s Epidemic." It`s on CNN Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. It just looks riveting. And truly, Larry, it is great to see you back reporting on such an enormously important topic. Why should everyone be watching this?

KING: Because Alzheimer`s - of the 10 major diseases, Alzheimer`s ranked number six and it`s the only one of the 10 that`s on the rise. The horrific thought is that by the year 2050, 100 million people will be affected by this horrible disease.

It`s an important hour and I hope a lot of people watch it Sunday night because I think it will add to your knowledge. It will make you aware of yourself. You`ll think about whether you should take the test or not and you`ll be concerned about relatives of all ages.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: The great Larry King. Thanks so much. And make sure you tune in to Larry King`s special "Unthinkable: The Alzheimer Epidemic." It`s this Sunday at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on CNN. Brooke?

ANDERSON: OK, A.J. I`m live in London and I`m getting more and more excited by the minute for the royal wedding. So why is Barbara Walters talking about Kate Middleton`s sex life? Today, my one-on-one with Barbara Walters who is also covering the wedding, coming up.

HAMMER: We`re also trying to solve the biggest royal wedding mystery today. What will Kate wear? Some of Hollywood`s biggest stars tell us they think Kate`s dress is going to look like. Also this -

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KATHY GRIFFIN, COMEDIENNE: And I`m looking forward to anybody who`s drunk or in an altered state. I hear it may rain, which is heaven for me as a comedienne, because it sounds like an episode of "Bridezillas," but with beautiful accents.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Kathy Griffin sharpening her royal claws today. She tells us what she`s most looking forward to at the William and Kate wedding. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

TEXT: Hollywood stars fuel the excitement for the royal wedding!

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KYLE RICHARDS, ACTRESS: Kate`s a princess. Didn`t we all think of that when we were little girls, right?

PARIS HILTON, REALITY TV STAR: (INAUDIBLE) Princess Diana`s wedding. It was so iconic.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson live in London and I am right in the center of around-the-clock preparations as the entire city - no, make that the entire country - gets ready for the wedding of the century.

And I can tell you we are witnessing first hand today all the planning and preparing that really goes into a $30 million wedding. From the food to the security to the flowers, it is astounding.

All right. HLN`s very own royal wedding contributor, Lisa Vanderpump and her royally adorable puppy, Jiggy, are joining me now from New York. Lisa is also one of the stars of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

And Lisa, I want to kick it off with some video from a rehearsal last night that we caught on tape. It`s actually the rehearsal for the entire military procession. It began in the dead of night before daybreak. And it`s just a glimpse of the pomp and circumstance that we are going to witness on Friday.

And Lisa, I`ve got to imagine this is just the tip of the royal iceberg in terms of all the preparations that are going on behind the scenes.

LISA VANDERPUMP, REALITY TV STAR, "THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS": I know. Brooke, I`m jealous actually. I wish I was there. I miss it now. I`m jealous of you.

But yes, 30 years ago, they would have got away with it a little bit. But now, with all the video phones, they can`t get away with anything, a thousand cavalry marching through the city - unbelievable.

ANDERSON: Yes. Nothing secret about it. Well, let me talk a little bit about food now, Lisa, because that is very, very important. You want your guests to be happy and remember that the food was good after the whole party.

The royal chef is giving us a glimpse into what he`s preparing for the big lunch time reception on Friday. And to give you an idea of how lavish this is going to be, he and his staff of 21 people are working on 10,000 appetizers.

That works out to roughly 16 appetizers per guest at this reception. And the royal chef tells us that the devil really is in the details. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE ROYAL CHEF: Any canape is all about fine details at the last minute. It will be about double-checking, triple checking and checking it again and making sure that we`ve got everything in the right places.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Double, triple-checking. Lisa, how nervous, how stressed out do you think the royal staff is right now as they prepare for this monumental event?

VANDERPUMP: Oh, goodness. So much pressure. I mean, all those canapes. But I`ve heard that they`ve also ordered them that British chocolate cake, as well as the traditional wedding cake of fruit.

I`ve heard they`ve ordered a chocolate McVities cake, which is rather unusual. But I know William - he loves very down-to-earth food. Cottage pie is his favorite. I imagine some of the canopies are going to be things like little Yorkshire puddings with roast beef and things and keeping some of it quite basic.

ANDERSON: I am getting hungry just hearing about it. And yes, Prince William actually requested that chocolate biscuit cake specially because he grew up with that recipe and he does indeed love it.

VANDERPUMP: Exactly.

ANDERSON: Well, they`re preparing the abbey for the big day with flowers. They`re also going to have eight trees. Each one of them is going to be 20 feet tall. It`s going to be an enchanted forest.

Of course, security is checking every nook and cranny of the procession route, the Westminster Abbey. But the biggest question is Kate`s hair. What do you think? Up or down, Lisa? Quickly.

VANDERPUMP: You know what? I think it`s going to be down. Maybe a little up at the front but down, hopefully, so she looks how he loves her. And you know, I think with the tiara, please. Let`s not have flowers in her hair. Let`s get that Strathmore Rose out and put a tiara on her head.

ANDERSON: Oh, got to have that tiara. OK. Half up, half down. I like that. Lisa Vanderpump, see you later.

VANDERPUMP: See you later, Brooke.

ANDERSON: A.J.?

HAMMER: All right, Brooke. Yes. We`re all pretty sure Kate`s going to wear a tiara, even me. But what will it look like? This is an important question. So Brooke, I know you went to a jeweler who knows a thing or two about royal, sparkly things.

This guy`s company actually designed Diana`s engagement ring. Find out the amazing things Brooke learned, coming up.

Jessica Simpson gets a big award. She doesn`t think she deserve it. Also this -

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: It`s your very first look at Beyonce`s new video and the very special connection it has to First Lady Michelle Obama. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

TEXT: Hollywood stars remember Princess Diana as we countdown to the royal wedding.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GRIFFIN: I think a lot of it reminds people of Diana and a lot of us stayed awake for her wedding. No, I don`t think she could ever top Diana, and I don`t think she`s trying to and she`s nice.

But she seem really beautiful and poised. And she`s got that great blue dress. You know, I would just be happy in that blue dress, but that`s me.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson and I`m here tonight in London covering all the hoopla surrounding Friday`s royal wedding. And A.J., I really have some tremendous help.

HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. I know you`re talking about our official royal wedding iReporter. Jason Sauter and his girlfriend, Nancy, won the CNN contest. They won a trip to London. They`re there right now. And you`ve got to check out their very first iReport from London.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JASON SAUTER, WINNER, CNN ROYAL WEDDING IREPORTER CONTEST: We`re walking to get our press credentials in front of Buckingham Palace. And it`s crazy right now. You can see all the people in front of the mall.

They`re lined up and they`re waiting to get their perfect spot for the wedding. And we are approaching our (INAUDIBLE) right now. The media is set up here in all the tents and we`re going to be a part of it. So stay tuned. We`ll give you an update as soon as we can.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Great job. Great job, Jason. And on Friday, the day of the wedding, we will have Jason and Nancy right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

HAMMER: And Brooke, on this side of the pond - did you see this? Beyonce`s brand-new video out today. It`s called "Move Your Body."

Now, this is a tweaked version of Beyonce`s "Get Me Bodied." B remixed the song to help First Lady Michelle Obama in her "Let`s Move" campaign against childhood obesity. Take a look at this.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: That`s pretty good. You know, I think I`m going to get the HLN cafeteria moving with that. No? OK.

Now, the SHOWBIZ line up - here`s what`s coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Brooke Anderson live in London. She`s trying to solve the biggest royal wedding mystery - what will Kate wear? What will her wedding dress look like?

And another mystery, the tiara Kate will likely wear. Brooke getting the inside scoop from a guy who knows all about royal jewelry. His company designed Princess Diana`s engagement ring.

Brooke Anderson`s royal interview with Barbara Walters. Why is Barbara, the queen, talking about Kate`s sex life? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

TEXT: Hollywood stars give advice to Prince William and Kate Middleton!

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DR. MEHMET OZ, CARDIOTHORACIC SURGEON AND AUTHOR: (INAUDIBLE) for my wife after 25 years of marriage. My father-in-law said, "Give in on the small things so it won`t hurt so much when you give in on the big things, because you`re giving in no matter what."

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: I`m Brooke Anderson, live in London covering the royal wedding.

HAMMER: I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

ANDERSON: My exclusive interview with Barbara Walters. With is Barbara talking about Kate`s sex life today?

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is on the case today, trying to solve the biggest royal wedding mystery - what will Kate Middleton`s dress look like? Some of Hollywood`s biggest stars weigh in.

ANDERSON: And a shocking sight in the final stretch before the wedding. The whiplash-inducing couple that`s got everybody here talking today.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

ANDERSON: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson coming to you live from London for the royal wedding.

HAMMER: I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. We`ve got big news breaking today - Barbara Walters` royal exclusive.

ANDERSON: Yes, A.J. It is so hectic here but a few minutes before one of my live shots on HLN, I quickly was able to grab the veteran ABC journalist, Barbara Walters, for a quick chat.

She, of course, is here in London to cover Prince William and Kate Middleton`s wedding. But she also covered Prince Charles and Princess Diana`s wedding back in 1981. I spoke to her about her favorite memories from that time from that wedding.

And she also dished about what`s gotten her all riled up this time around. Take a look.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

Barbara, you, of course, covered the wedding of Prince Charles to Princess Diana. What is it like being here 30 years later to cover the wedding of their son?

BARBARA WALTERS, ABC TV JOURNALIST: Well, I also sadly covered the funeral of Princess Diana, which was at Westminster Abbey.

So to be here now and to see this young couple, it`s a very happy occasion. When we look back at the marriage of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, we were all excited then. But there were so many reasons perhaps why it couldn`t succeed - the age, the different experience and so on.

So this is very happy. I`m not thrilled with the fact that we go on air at 4:00 a.m., American - yes, New York time. And then, we`re on endlessly, then we do a special. I don`t get off the air until like 1:00 in the morning. So I`m sort of happy about that.

ANDERSON: It`s a long day, isn`t it?

WALTERS: For all of us, it really is.

ANDERSON: Well, you know, Kate is being constantly compared to Princess Diana.

WALTERS: Excuse me. Excuse me. We now call her Catherine.

ANDERSON: Oh, Catherine. She will be Princess Catherine.

WALTERS: Well, not princess - we don`t know. That`s another rule. We don`t know what she`s going to be called.

ANDERSON: She will be a princess.

WALTERS: So far, so good.

ANDERSON: The official title will be conferred by the queen. We will not know until the day of the wedding. But Catherine has been constantly compared to Princess Diana. How can she overcome that and carve out her own identity going forward?

WALTERS: You know she really is nothing like Princess Diana except in her beauty and style. First of all, she`s 10 years older than Princess Diana. Secondly, Princess Diana, at that time, had to be a virgin.

We don`t think about that now. I mean, Prince William and Catherine have lived together as many modern couples do. She went to university. Diana went to no university, wasn`t very good at that subject - those subjects.

They were two very different kinds of women. What they have in common - they`re both beautiful. They`re both very stylish and there, I think, the contrast ends.

ANDERSON: Do you have any favorite memories from covering the wedding in 1981?

WALTERS: Well, I think because of where we`re standing at Buckingham Palace, when Princess Diana and Prince Charles did that first kiss. It was very quick. It was like that.

ANDERSON: Too quick.

WALTERS: Too - wow, isn`t that interesting? Because, you know, they didn`t really know each other that well. She`d only met him a dozen times before they got married. So now, it doesn`t matter whether it`s a big smooch on that balcony.

We know these two people love each other and we are in modern times. But we still have the fairytale - the parades, the bands, the basking hats, the hoopla, what is she going to wear, you know -

ANDERSON: What are you going to wear on the wedding?

WALTERS: I`m not going to tell you. It`s a secret. You`ll find out that morning.

ANDERSON: I`ll look forward to it. Barbara Walters, great speaking with you.

WALTERS: Thank you for having me. Have a wonderful day.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: It was a pleasure speaking with Barbara. And A.J., I can`t wait to see what Barbara and everybody else wears on Friday morning.

HAMMER: I`m looking forward to seeing what you`re wearing, Brooke. Of course, most women are going to be wearing some kind of unforgettable hat. But what about the ultimate bling, a diamond tiara?

ANDERSON: Yes, A.J. Only one woman will be rocking head gear fit for royalty and that is Kate Middleton. Oh, yes, and of course, the queen and, of course, their royal counterparts, but I digress.

Anyway, I got a real thrill today when I was able to go to the jeweler that actually made the engagement ring that Princess Diana wore. It was such a thrill - diamonds, rubies, pearls, oh my. And, A.J., I got my hands on a couple of tiaras, too. Take a look.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

(on camera) Let`s take a look at some of these rings right now. Absolutely spectacular. And this one is very similar to Princess Diana`s engagement ring.

ERIC DEARDORFF(ph), JEWELER: It`s similar from the perspective of it is a classic center stone with surrounding cluster of diamonds.

ANDERSON: A lot of people may not realize but Princess Diana`s engagement ring of purchased here. Did Diana have any hand in choosing the style?

DEARDORFF: Prince Charles requested an assortment of Garrard-designed blue sapphire with diamond cluster engagement rings.

So a tray was sent to the palace and Prince Charles and Diana reviewed the selection. And from that selection of existing engagement rings, they chose their engagement ring.

ANDERSON: Can you imagine? Just send me a tray of jewels, I`ll take my pick. That`s nice.

Everybody is discussing Kate Middleton`s wedding dress. I really, really suspect she will be wearing heavy artillery as well. So what do you think in terms of jewelry that Kate will be wearing or that she should be wearing?

DEARDORFF: My first guess is going to be a tiara. A tiara is a big statement piece. The engagement ring is a big statement piece. So other supporting jewelry will be somewhat understated, yet classic and beautiful.

ANDERSON: Speaking of tiaras, can we take a look at some you have here? All right. This is my favorite part. It`s tiara time. Take a look at - spectacular.

DEARDORFF: Would you like to try this on?

ANDERSON: Would I like to try it on? Why, of course.

DEARDORFF: So you would place it on top.

ANDERSON: How do I look? I feel like a princess. Rock on Buckingham Palace. Totally kidding.

Eric, I also noticed that you have this gorgeous tiara, very stunning, with pearls. It looks like there`s some historical significance to this.

DEARDORFF: Well, this tiara was made - Garrard designed and made this tiara in 1901. It is a combination of white diamonds and pearls.

ANDERSON: I think there`s still time for Kate Middleton, though, before her wedding day to come in here. I think this would look beautiful -

DEARDORFF: We`re open. We`re open. We`re open all the way through the wedding. We`re open. You should try this one -

ANDERSON: You can assign a price for Kate Middleton. Yes, I would love to.

DEARDORFF: OK. This is - I`m afraid to.

ANDERSON: Don`t be afraid. Kate Middleton - if she wears a tiara on her wedding day, it will probably be given to her by the queen, yes?

DEARDORFF: If history repeats itself, it will be a tiara that is in the queen`s private collection that she either gives to the princess-to-be or loans to her as something borrowed on her wedding day.

ANDERSON: Eric Deardorff, great to meet you.

DEARDORFF: Thank you very much.

ANDERSON: Thank you for making me princess for a day. This was fun.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Brooke, I`ve got to say you always look beautiful but $2 million worth of jewels on your head kind of notches it up a bit.

ANDERSON: Oh, it doesn`t hurt, does it, A.J.? Thank you. Thank you. Yes. It was a day I won`t soon forget. And hey, Eric doesn`t like to reveal prices for these sorts of things, but he claims they`ve got something for everybody in there.

HAMMER: Yes. Bring home a little trinket, won`t you? All right. We are more than a day away from the royal wedding but not much. One huge mystery remains, however. What will Kate Middleton`s dress look like? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on the case, trying to solve the biggest royal wedding mystery.

Plus, some of Hollywood`s biggest stars like Kathy Griffin tell SHOWBIZ TONIGHT what they`re looking forward to on Friday.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GRIFFIN: And I`m looking forward to anybody who`s drunk or in an altered state. I hear it may rain, which is heaven for me as a comedian because it sounds like an episode of "Bridezillas," but with beautiful accents.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That`s not all Kathy`s telling us today. You`ve got to hear her spin on what she thinks is really going on behind the palace doors.

Jessica Simpson gets a big honor and laughs about it. In fact, she doesn`t think she deserves an award. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

TEXT: Hollywood stars remember Princess Diana as we countdown to the royal wedding.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GAYLE KING, TALK SHOW HOST: I was so smitten with Princess Diana for years. I got up in the morning to watch her funeral. I got up to watch her wedding. And of course, when she died, my first thought was for her boys, William and Harry.

So it`s so great to see him become the young man that he is. And she, Kate, seems perfect for him. Yes, I will be up early in the morning.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: We believe Kate Middleton and Prince William were in those cars tonight as they went to Westminster Abbey for a final rehearsal. Maybe they were going over their vows one last time together.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson, live in London where I am investigating one of the great royal wedding mysteries everybody here is talking about - Kate`s dress. What will Kate wear? What will it look like?

Well, we are less than 48 hours away from their big event. And still, the dress and the designer are shrouded in mystery. HLN`s very own royal wedding contributor, Lisa Vanderpump and her doggy, Jiggy, are joining me from New York.

Tell me how it`s been possible that this has been kept such a secret. Lisa is also a star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

And Lisa, we know that Princess Diana`s wedding dress was, what, kept in a safe and guarded 24/7. So how have they been able to keep Kate`s dress a secret?

VANDERPUMP: I don`t know. I`m mystified but that as well. But my money`s still on Sarah Burton. I don`t know what yours is, Brooke, I still think she`s going to win it.

Everybody was saying Libelula, but no. I think it`s going to be Sarah Burton. I think Kate`s going to stay true to herself. I think it`s going to be form-fitting with a train - probably a 10-foot train.

I think it`s probably going to go lace. She does favor low-cut. So I don`t know. She might have to cover up a little bit in the church - long sleeves. I think that is where we go. And the tiara - hope you picked up one for yourself there, Brooke.

ANDERSON: I was trying, Lisa. I was trying. So Sarah Burton - a lot of people have been talking about her. A lot of people have mentioned the young, little-known designer, Sophie Cranston -

VANDERPUMP: Yes.

ANDERSON: Oh, I guess we`ll just to wait until Friday to see. But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT did catch up with Carmen Electra and also Blake Lively. And those actresses gave us their take on what they think Kate`s dress will look like.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CARMEN ELECTRA, ACTRESS: Well, I would say probably something very, very classic, you know, very different from some of the Hollywood weddings. You know, we`ve seen dresses by Galliano. A lot of people that have dresses that have splashes of color in it.

I think she`s probably going to stay more traditional and I think that will be beautiful to see.

BLAKE LIVELY ACTRESS: I`m so excited to see her dress. Nobody knows who the designer is yet, right?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I heard it`s McQueen.

LIVELY: I heard it`s McQueen, too, but who knows? I can`t wait.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: OK. Lisa, a lot of people are saying that Kate may have designed her wedding dress herself. That would be a daunting thing to do and I don`t think that would be such a good idea.

VANDERPUMP: Well, I think she`ll have a lot of input. I mean, you`ve seen the way they`ve kind of dictated, you know, the whole thing in the wedding, you know, the whole green thing. I mean, it`s all kind of breaking boundaries that nobody`s done before, so I think she will have a lot of input.

ANDERSON: That`s true.

VANDERPUMP: And I think it`s going to dictate what a lot of brides are going to wear this year, absolutely. I`m very excited, Brooke.

(CROSS TALK)

ANDERSON: So whatever she wears, it will become iconic. Yes.

VANDERPUMP: Absolutely.

ANDERSON: No question about that. And one thing we do know for sure is that whoever designs the dress better get ready for the recognition that they are going to receive after the fact.

VANDERPUMP: Oh, yes.

ANDERSON: Take a listen now to what Princess Diana`s dress designer, Elizabeth Emanuel had to say about being given the duty of designing Diana`s dress. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ELIZABETH EMANUEL, DESIGNER OF THE PRINCESS DIANA`S WEDDING DRESS: You know, it still makes me a bit thrilled by just simply thinking about it. That was the moment that changed our lives forever, really. Nothing was ever the same after that.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Lisa, I`ve got to imagine the designer of Kate`s dress -

VANDERPUMP: I mean, it would scare me, Brooke.

ANDERSON: (INAUDIBLE) pins and needles, just waiting for the time see how - yes - how the world perceives it.

VANDERPUMP: Yes. You`re right. But it would scare me when I look back at Elizabeth Emanuel with hair like that, letting her design your dress. All right. Sorry, Brooke. You`re right. There`s a lot of pressure on that designer.

But as I say, I think Sarah Burton can handle it. Please let it be, because - I love Alexander McQueen, you know, and I think with what happened last year, it will be just what the house needs.

ANDERSON: Oh, yes. All right. Well, Lisa Vanderpump, thank you so much. And sorry about the cross talk. We have quite a bit of delay from London, so sorry about that. So good to see you

VANDERPUMP: Good to see you, too.

HAMMER: And we move now from stiff upper lips in England to one of the biggest mouths in Hollywood. I`m talking, Brooke, about Kathy Griffin, of course.

ANDERSON: Yes, A.J. She is covering the royal wedding for the TV Guide Network. And she promised SHOWBIZ TONIGHT 100 percent pure offensive, ridiculous comedy. Oh, boy.

HAMMER: What else would she bring us? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was on the red carpet at "Us Weekly`s" "Hot Hollywood Style" party in Los Angeles on Tuesday night. And that`s where Kathy told us what she`s looking forward to most on Friday morning.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GRIFFIN: I mean, yes. I`m looking forward to the dress but I`m looking forward to the person with the super-crazy hat. There`s going to be a lot of weird hattery. And I`m looking forward to anybody who is drunk or in an altered state.

I hear it may rain, which is heaven for me as a comedienne because it sounds like an episode of "Bridezillas" but with a beautiful accents.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Well, we`ve certainly seen that "Bridezillas" show. I`m pretty sure Kate Middleton wouldn`t have an epic meltdown if it rains. She seems, to me at least, more reasonable than that.

And speaking of royalty, we had to ask Kathy which Hollywood couple would possibly compete with William and Kate`s celebrity status right now.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GRIFFIN: Well, it`s interesting because they are true royalty. And yet, our royalty is, you know, Snooki and The Situation. So I would say Brangelina is right up there with William and Kate.

And yet, you know, they don`t let nearly as much coverage for their outings as I would like.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: A.J., if Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie got married, the media coverage might not be this huge, but it could come pretty close.

HAMMER: Well, Brooke, there is big news today about a Hollywood wedding in the works. A member of a legendary star family revealed today she is walking down the aisle. He didn`t lie. Arnold will be back.

Plus, the huge honor for Jessica Simpson. She doesn`t think she actually deserved it. All in "The Buzz Today."

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) Jessica Simpson`s style shocker. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT caught up with the newly-crowned "Us Weekly" style icon at the magazine`s "Hot Hollywood Style Party." The self-described jeans girl modestly revealed she doesn`t think she deserves the title.

JESSICA SIMPSON, ACTRESS AND SINGER: Style icon of the year - I don`t even know what that means. I don`t even feel like I`ve been stylish. I don`t know. Like, style icon of the year? I don`t really deserve it. I`m not that cool.

HAMMER: He`ll be back? Arnold Schwarzenegger is reportedly attached to a new "Terminator" film.

ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER, ACTOR: I`ll be back.

HAMMER: "Deadline.com" broke the news about a possible fifth film in the franchise that made the governator famous. The report says while there`s no screenwriter or script for the project, multiple studios are taking a hard look at producing this film with Schwarzenegger as the star.

Hudson`s ring bling. The pregnant star announced her engagement after her ring caught Matt Lauer`s eye during an appearance on the "Today Show."

MATT LAUER, CO-HOST, THE "TODAY" SHOW: Is this new?

KATE HUDSON, ACTRESS: It`s new.

LAUER: You`re engaged.

HUDSON: I`m engaged.

LAUER: Congratulations.

HUDSON: Thank you.

HAMMER: The actress didn`t reveal any details about her wedding to British singer Matt Bellamy. She says they plan to enjoy being parents for a while first.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: All right. Here we are less than two days before the wedding. And a shocking sight - Prince William, Kate Middleton, cruising by the tower bridge? Wait a second, what is this? Look closely. What`s going on here? We will explain next. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

TEXT: Hollywood stars give advice to Prince William and Kate Middleton!

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LALA VASQUEZ, ACTRESS: You know, it`s funny because I got my marriage advice from Khloe Kardashian and she said it best, which was, "Live in the moment. Have a moment and enjoy it." There`s so much craziness that goes on when you`re getting married. Sometimes we forget to just live in that moment and then when you look up, it`s over.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: And now, the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT star watch, presented by the NBA on TNT. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT spotted plenty of stars on hand last night in L.A. watching the Lakers take on New Orleans in game five of Western Conference playoff series.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT spotted diehard Lakers fan, Jack Nicholson. Jeremy Piven was there, so was Stephen Spielberg, and Khloe Kardashian, all there to watch the Lakers beat the Hornets in another exciting NBA playoff game as seen on TNT. Keep watching TNT for the best NBA playoff action.

So Brooke, yesterday, it was really cool. You showed us some of these really neat royal (INAUDIBLE) that are apparently flying off the shelves over there in London. But I know you`ve got news about one particular couple that probably has the ultimate royal souvenir today.

ANDERSON: Yes. I guess you could call it the gift that keeps on giving, A.J., being dead ringers for William and Kate. Take a look at this. Twenty will and Kate look-alikes from more than 10 European countries competed for the title of best Kate and William double.

And A.J., it wasn`t just about the looks. Oh, no, no. They had to do a fierce royal wave, act out a wedding proposal. And the fake Kate had to toss a bouquet.

The winners are Simon Watkinson from London and Ursula Rossi(ph) from Milan. They win a year`s worth of free flights on the airline Easy Jet. Congratulations to them. They look very, very happy.

And A.J., being a look alike is actually really big business. The "Sun" newspaper reports that in a day a look-alike can earn up to 500 pounds for an appearance for a photo shoot.

HAMMER: Wow.

ANDERSON: So that`s really great money.

HAMMER: Yes. And I imagine it`s going to be a big Halloween costume that year - that and Trump. And I`m thinking that maybe Kate Middleton will wear a Trump mask this year that will have Obama`s birth certificate on it.

ANDERSON: I hope not - no.

HAMMER: All right. Let`s move on right now to the ugly side of Hollywood. Yes. We all know some of Hollywood`s most glamorous stars have actually uglied up for their most memorable and often award winning role.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has teamed up with "More" magazine to name the stars who gave up the glam for the greater good. Of course, Charlize Theron gained 30 pounds, but she took home an Oscar for "Monster."

Nicole Kidman stuck on that fake nose for "The Hours," and her dowdy look won her an Oscar. Cameron Diaz ditched her perfect blond locks for a crazy frizzy do - one of my favorite movies of all time, "Being John Malkovich."

For more of the ugly truth, be sure to pick up your copy, the May issue of "More" magazine.

ANDERSON: And that is a wrap for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thank you so much for watching and keep it tuned to HLN and SHOWBIZ TONIGHT for more exciting royal wedding coverage. I`m Brooke Anderson.

HAMMER: Brooke, it`s been so fantastic watching you in London all week long. We`re only halfway through the week. I can`t wait to see the ginormous hat you`re going to wear on Friday. It`s going to be fantastic.

ANDERSON: Thank you. It is.

HAMMER: I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT live at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Monday through Friday. And of course, we are still TV`s most provocative entertainment news show at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific here on HLN.
