DIAZ: Hello. I`m Carlos Diaz in for A.J. Hammer with big news breaking tonight - the Casey punked mystery.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that it appears someone tried to pull the wool over our eyes by putting a coat over someone`s head and leading us to believe that Casey Anthony had done something really stupid, like returning to Orlando where the Casey hate factor is still way off the charts.

But just who was that masked woman who dashed off on an airplane in what appears to be a cruel hoax? There are all kinds of conspiracy theories out there. And of course, we`re talking about the one who tried to punk us.

On SHOWBIZ TONIGHT we can tell you there`s even more talk that it may have been an attempt to help Casey cash in big time.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) After her big acquittal, Casey Anthony had the whole country seeing red. Now, Casey Anthony has the whole country seeing Casey Anthony.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE REPORTER: We`re trying to verify if this person could be Casey Anthony.

DIAZ: TV news stations went nuts over a possible Casey Anthony sighting at an Orlando airport.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE REPORTER: Is that her?

DIAZ: And today, we`re swamped with reports that this Casey Anthony sighting may have been a prank played by members of her inner circle.

JOSE BAEZ, CASEY ANTHONY`S ATTORNEY (through telephone): That is not her. That I can confirm.

JO PIAZZA, CELEBRITY REPORTER, "HUFFINGTON POST": Everyone seems to be in a complete tizzy over Casey Anthony sightings. There have just been dozens over the past 24 hours alone. In fact, I was mistaken for Casey Anthony walking over here today.

DIAZ: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT investigates how did this Orlando Casey sighting come about? Are we being punked by her defense team? And with everyone in the country reporting Casey Anthony sightings -

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE REPORTER: From a Tennessee Wal-Mart to a restaurant in Troy, Michigan -

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE REPORTER: In California, a Florida condo or even on Geraldo Rivera`s yacht.

WHOOPI GOLDBERG, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": From British Columbia to Palm Springs to Harlem -

DIAZ: Could Casey Anthony be the new Loch Ness monster, big foot or Elvis?

PIAZZA: Casey Anthony sightings are the new hot thing.

DIAZ: This is the last confirmed Casey Anthony sighting, Casey Anthony strolling out of an Orlando jail days after she was acquitted on charges she killed her two-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Casey`s attorneys refuse to say where she`s going to protect her privacy and her safety.

CHENEY MASON, CASEY ANTHONY`S ATTORNEY: She is safe and we are confident about that.

DIAZ: But hours after her release, Casey is reported to have left Orlando on a plane owned by her ex-lawyer, California-based attorney, Todd Macaluso. TV networks tracked that plane west to Arizona and possibly California.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE REPORTER: Breaking news - want to show you this video we just got in.

DIAZ: And it was that same plane that sent news crews into a frenzy when it returned to Orlando and dropped off someone, face covered, who appeared to be wearing the same pink shirt and skinny jeans that Casey wore Sunday. Macaluso, the attorney was there, too, but he wasn`t talking.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE REPORTER: Where is Casey today?

DIAZ: A reporter for an Orlando TV station that shot the video tells HLN`s Nancy Grace they got the shot by accident after they sent their helicopter to chase another possible Casey Anthony sighting elsewhere in Orlando.

KATHI BELIC, WFTV REPORTER: When we got back, we saw, as we were about to land, our photographer and operations manager noticed Todd Macaluso`s plane sitting there. It wasn`t there when we left. And so we started videotaping what was going on there around the plane.

DIAZ: But Casey`s defense attorney, Jose Baez, called into a local station to claim it wasn`t Casey that cameras caught deplaning in Orlando. He suggested the lawyer who owns the plane was punking the media.

BAEZ: I think it`s probably just Todd having some fun. Other than that, I presume maybe he just wants people to stop following his airplane around.

DIAZ: With TV networks reporting what might be solid leads about Casey`s whereabouts out west, did team Casey stage a fake Casey sighting back in Orlando to throw the media off her trail?

PIAZZA: It could have been anyone. Frankly, it didn`t even have to be a woman underneath that sweater. It could have been a very petite man.

DIAZ: One thing`s for sure, if the media is going to go this crazy every time a young brunette is spotted in Orlando, Snow White`s going to get a lot of airtime.

PIAZZA: Now, I feel like anytime anyone sees a woman like this, say, dancing on a bar, pounding shots, they`re immediately going to call their local news outlet and say, "Oh, my god. I saw Casey Anthony."

DIAZ: But even if this and the other Casey Anthony sightings are false alarms, one day soon, we`re bound to see the real thing.

PIAZZA: Everyone today has a camera phone equipped with an HD camera and an HD video camera. If Casey`s anywhere, we`re going to see very clear footage of it.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

DIAZ: So if this really was an elaborate hoax and we were all just punked, just what was the point? Why go to all that trouble and expense to create a fake Casey sighting?

In New York tonight is Jane Velez-Mitchell, who has been covering the Casey Anthony story since day one. Jane is the host of "ISSUES WITH JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL" every week night at 7:00 p.m. Eastern on HLN. Also in New York City is radio and TV journalist, Michael Billy.

Let`s take a closer look at the video, all right? You can see the woman is wearing the exact same outfit that Casey wore when she walked out of jail. So we have Casey`s first lawyer whisking that woman away from the private jet into car of another Casey defense attorney, which leads to the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Flashpoint , what was the point of trying to punk us? Jane, if this wasn`t Casey, what was the point?

JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL, HOST, "ISSUES WITH JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL": Well, it may be just to confuse us so that Casey can be off somewhere else living her life and nobody is searching for her somewhere else because we`re all looking at Orlando.

But it could also be to keep us talking about Casey the way we`re talking about her right now, Carlos. We know in the 24/7 news cycle, stories go off, the headlines, very quickly.

They still need to do a deal for Casey Anthony and get her the money that she needs to survive. And the only way to do that is to keep her front and center, keep the media talking about her. What better way than to pull this Loch Ness monster stunt.

DIAZ: Wow. Yes, Jane, that`s a very, very good point. When I look at the video, I kind of feel I`m having a flashback to when Michael Jackson used to hide his kids under blankets. Michael, why do you think someone may have tried to punk us?

MICHAEL BILLY, RADIO AND TV JOURNALIST: Well, look, it all goes back to the fashion cam. Clearly, it`s not her. You don`t get a plane, a private plane, and not get a change of clothes, OK?

DIAZ: Right.

BILLY: Now, this obviously looks like a tactical distraction, one that could possibly save her life because, as we know, a lot of people are sought out to find her.

So this looks like, as much of what we`re saying, punk. A tactical distraction, I think, is a more accurate description. If you`re asking me, I think she`s somewhere in a car, in an SUV, driving cross country somewhere.

DIAZ: Well, no matter what happens -

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Doubtful, doubtful. The first toll booth she`d hit - they`d call any of the tabloids -

BILLY: Tactical distraction, Jane. Tactical distraction.

DIAZ: Jane, good point. I do believe that she`s on the west coast someplace from all the reports. And no matter what you think happened on that tarmac in Florida, whoever was behind it added more confusion to the mystery of where Casey might be hiding.

But Casey`s defense told our affiliate, WKMG, in Orlando no matter - no one from Casey`s defense team had anything to do with this. Listen to this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BAEZ (through telephone): That is not her. That I can confirm. I will not say anything further as to her whereabouts, but I can absolutely 100 percent tell you that that is not her.

I didn`t want anyone to think that either her defense team or Casey had anything to do with what was going on at the airport.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

DIAZ: Well, you heard it. Jose Baez claims he had no idea what was going on at that airport. Jane, not everyone is buying that. If anyone from the defense team was behind it, what would possibly be their motivation?

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, first of all, let me say that the plane that was involved belongs to a former member of Casey Anthony`s defense team. And according to "People" magazine, the SUV that this individual, this Loch Ness monster-type person got into also is connected to the defense team.

So this is not something that`s happening that has no connection to the Casey Anthony case. Whether it`s a ruse, a joke or her herself, it`s not a coincidence. And I do feel that given that Cheney Mason attacked the media and called the media`s behavior inappropriate, that they should have put the kibosh on this kind of nonsense.

DIAZ: By the way, Jane, do you think this is another middle finger, you know, from the defense in a different kind of way?

VELEZ-MITCHELL: It could be. But they`re all asking us to respect her privacy. And we can`t respect her privacy if they`re pulling stunts like this so I think they`re talking out of both sides of their mouths. And I think it`s kind of outrageous.

DIAZ: All right. Jane Velez-Mitchell, Michael Billy, guys, thank you so much. I appreciate it.

More dramatic developments as the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Casey watch continues tonight. Casey and Nancy Grace? Should Casey Anthony do her very first interview with Nancy Grace? I`ve got explosive evidence that it could happen.

Paris is burning. Watch Paris Hilton walk off the set of "GMA" this morning.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Do you worry at times that the people who have followed in your footsteps, like Kim Kardashian, are overshadowing you?

PARIS HILTON, REALITY TV STAR: No, not at all.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Do you ever worry about your moment having passed? You want to wrap up?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

DIAZ: Come on, Paris. Really? Find out what set Paris off. And tonight, we`re asking, is Paris washed up for good?

And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with a dramatic new J-Lo breakup news. Tonight was J-Lo`s ex Ben Affleck asked to save Jennifer`s marriage by J-Lo`s own mother? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

TEXT: "Harry Potter" film breaks another record: highest IMAX opening weekend: $23 million. SHOWBIZ breaks news! "Entourage" stars tell SHOWBIZ TONIGHT there will be a movie.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ADRIAN GRENIER, ACTOR: I would hate to disappoint millions and millions of people that want to see a movie. I wouldn`t want to be the guy to deliver that news, so I`m going to say yes, we`re going to get a movie.

It`s just a matter of when, and we just want to do it the right way. We can just go and hammer one out, but we don`t want to end a successful eight-year run on a show with a crappy movie.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

DIAZ: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Carlos Diaz. Tonight, he`s playing what? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT confirmed today that Chris Brown is going to star as the romantic lead in a brand-new movie.

And considering his real-life romances have made not-so-nice headlines, is this just a ridiculous idea or a really good one?

With me right now is Sheryl Lee Ralph, who is an actress, activist and author. And from Hollywood, Rachel Zalis, who is a contributing editor for "Life and Style Weekly."

The name of the romantic comedy Chris will be starring in is "Think Like a Man," which is based on comedian Steve Harvey`s bestselling book, "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man."

It`s been two years since Chris was arrested for beating up Rihanna, who was his girlfriend at that time. Sheryl Lee, my friend, do you think enough time has passed, that people will be able to see Chris Brown in a romantic role on the big screen, or do you think this idea is ridiculous?

SHERYL LEE RALPH, ACTRESS, ACTIVIST AND AUTHOR: Carlos, my friend, let me tell you something. It is always great when a performer gets a job, and a good one. But this one at this time, for me, it still feels like yesterday when I first saw those photographs, when I first saw Rihanna`s face.

But I really hope that the two of them have gotten the kind of treatment that they need to deal with the issues both of them may have had. But seeing him romantically right about now - for me, not quite right now. But for somebody else, obviously, it`s a good choice.

DIAZ: Well, Steve Harvey wrote his book to advise women on what men really think about love, relationships, intimacy and commitment. No football in there?

And he just tweeted in his congratulations to Chris saying, "Congrats on landing a role in `Act Like a Lady,` the movie. I`m proud of you, man."

Rachel, I`ve got to point out that Chris Brown has a number one album. His fans love him. So do you think this is a good idea or just ridiculous?

RACHEL ZALIS, CONTRIBUTING EDITOR, "LIFE AND STYLE WEEKLY": I`m already on line to get my ticket because there is no one I want to get the male point of view from more than Chris Brown.

Seriously, it doesn`t really matter what we think because his fans - did you see the "Today" show? They were like knocking each other over to see him. They`ve obviously forgiven him and are willing to move on.

DIAZ: Now, the battle of the divas. Bette Midler is miffed at Lady Gaga for performing in a wheel chair while wearing a mermaid costume in Australia last week. Bette just tweeted she did that stunt back in 1980.

But Gaga tells "Access Hollywood" she had no idea, saying, "Maybe we`re just cut from the same cloth. I couldn`t hop around in that tail, so I just stuck myself in a while chair. I admire her."

Sheryl Lee, isn`t imitation the most sincere form of flattery?

RALPH: Listen, imitation is definitely the most sincerest form of flattery. But Gaga, come on, girl. Get real. You know that the original diva, Ms. Bette Midler did that act herself first, and we all know it.

Bette, girl, this is all good because nobody was talking about you yesterday, but they`re talking about you today. You go, girl.

DIAZ: Well, it all might be good in the end.

RALPH: Yes.

DIAZ: Bette Midler just said in another tweet saying, "Let`s drink this over at the Emmys in September. Fabulous mermaids can co-exist."

RALPH: Yes.

DIAZ: Sheryl Lee Ralph and Rachel Zalis, thank you guys so much.

Angelina Jolie`s kid eat bugs. Jolie`s brand-new ad for Louis Vuitton is out tonight. It was shot in Cambodia, the country where she adopted her eldest son, Maddox. And in the clip, Jolie talks about how Maddox and his brother, Pax, snack on crickets. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ANGELINA JOLIE, ACTRESS: It`s their favorite thing and they eat them like - when I first gave it to them, I thought I wanted them to understand - culturally, I wanted them not to be, you know, turned off by something that was of their culture.

And they ate them like Doritos and they wouldn`t stop. And they brought to-go boxes home. And I had to actually ban the cricket-eating at a certain point because I was afraid they were going to get sick from too many.

So as soon as we landed, we had a friend bring us two to-go boxes full of crickets and we all sat in the car eating them. But they`re good. They`re like a potato chip. We had a beetle. They call it cockroach. I think it`s more like a beetle.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

DIAZ: Oh, my god. It all sounds very tasty but definitely not something I could chomp down. I wouldn`t dig that too much.

Kim Kardashian wants to eat Old Navy`s lunch tonight. She`s absolutely furious with the clothing store because she says they purposely used a Kim K. look-alike in this ad to drum up more sales.

(MUSIC)

DIAZ: Kim is actually suing over this. But does she really have a shot here? Or should Kim just back off?

And Jessica Simpson pregnant? Tonight, why Jessica was forced to address the rumor again. And to the SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, why are people so obsessed with Jessica having a baby? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: No, I have to go.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: So tell us a little bit about yourself, Mr. Parker.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: He has an aunt and an uncle.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: You should know about that thing. It`s your dad`s.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: What are you doing here?

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: I have nothing.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: You don`t want to get into trouble, so don`t touch anything.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: Peter, what`s going on?

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

DIAZ: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m Carlos Diaz in for A.J. Hammer with big news breaking tonight - J-Lo and Marc Anthony`s split, the untold story.

We`ve learned shocking new details today about what may have led to the breakup of one of Hollywood`s most powerful couples. Were there really fights all the time? Was he really jealous of her success? And was her ex, Ben Affleck, really called on to give her advice?

In Hollywood tonight is Sheryl Lee Ralph, who is an actor, activist and author. And right now in New York Michael Billy, who is a TV and radio host.

OK. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained today an advanced copy of the new issue of "People" magazine. I`m telling you, they`re dropping bombshell after bombshell. So why did J-Lo and Marc Anthony ultimately call it quits?

"People" reports that both of them had big time cheating fears. For Marc Anthony, he had problems with jealousy and control. For J-Lo, sources tell "People" she suspected that Marc Anthony was cheating on her.

And "People" reports today that Marc had his own suspicions about J-Lo and the guy in her sultry "I`m Into You" video who has denied having an affair with J-Lo.

Sheryl Lee, does it make sense that fears about cheating would play into a role into the deterioration of this marriage?

RALPH: Absolutely. This is something that we have seen happen over and over. And J-Lo is not the first incredibly gorgeous woman to have this sort of stories swirling around her relationships.

But I will tell you one thing, I am so sad to see them split up because something in me said this one`s going to work and this one`s going to be forever. No seven-year itch. Seven-year split.

DIAZ: Yes, good point. And part of the problem here is you`ve got to very head strong people who are very successful -

RALPH: Absolutely.

DIAZ: Which brings us to next totally jaw-dropping brand-new divorce revelation, their success made them lock horns big time.

"People" magazine reported today that tensions really got high when J- Lo returned to "American Idol" and her popularity soared. And then when her dance anthem, "On The Floor," became a smash hit, "People" says J-Lo started to pull away from Marc and that`s when all heck broke loose.

Michael, I`m thinking if these two didn`t have the high pressure of fame on their shoulders, they might have actually made it.

BILLY: Possibly. I mean, fame can really - fame and jealousy can really eat up a relationship. Marc Anthony is incredibly popular but even more so popular outside of the United States.

With all the traveling and the jealousy, it was bound to happen. I myself not too upset. I like the good old Ben Affleck days.

DIAZ: You just want to see J-Lo single, but I appreciate it. If only J-Lo would take her own advice, by the way. Back in 2007 she told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT make your relationship work no matter what. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JENNIFER LOPEZ, SINGER AND ACTRESS: Somebody told me, which was really funny, what`s the key to a short marriage - what`s the key to a good marriage? And they said a short memory, which I thought was funny and true.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

DIAZ: But I guess the good thing is that it looks like it`s going to be a battle-free divorce. In another big new development today, "People" magazine reported that J-Lo will have primary custody of the kids in Los Angeles.

Marc Anthony will get to keep their home on Long Island in New York. And the two aren`t fighting at all about money or alimony or anything. Sheryl Lee, considering their two strong personalities, are you surprised there`s no fighting over the money?

RALPH: Listen, that is one of the greatest things that can happen to them. Probably, they believe like I believe - pre-nup. They had this all thought out in love before the rough times happened so that there would be no fights. Great for them, greater for the kids.

DIAZ: Yes. But you also have to understand they have a lot of money. So when you have a lot of money, you don`t mind splitting up that big portion of money. And they each have their own money.

Now, are you ready for another whopper? Get this - "Us Weekly" reported today that Ben Affleck gave J-Lo`s mom advice on her daughter`s pending divorce.

Ben, of course, is J-Lo`s ex. And "Us Weekly" says her mom has always really liked and trusted Ben and reached out to him via E-mail. Now, "Us Weekly" says Ben wrote back a nice note and offered her what he could.

We reached out to Ben Affleck for comment, but as of airtime, we didn`t hear back from him. Michael, given how close Ben and J-Lo once were - remember Bennifer - what kind of advice do you think he would have offered her?

BILLY: Look, the bottom line here is Guadalupe has been dying to E-mail Ben Affleck, trying to find some sort of reason. I mean, he`s Ben Affleck. Forget about the marriage. She just wants to friend him on Facebook. Let`s be honest.

DIAZ: So what you`re saying is, she was like, "Hey, I saw you with your shirt off. Can you give me some advice and possibly a picture?"

BILLY: Absolutely.

DIAZ: All right. I want to move on to Casey news right now. Big breaking news as the hunt goes on for Casey right now. There`s a great big Casey Anthony burning question tonight. Who should Casey Anthony give her first interview to?

Take a look at our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll where we asked Casey Anthony, who should she do her first TV tell-all interview with? A whopping 39 percent voted for HLN`s own, Nancy Grace. Trailing behind was Oprah with 20 percent and Diane Sawyer with 18 percent.

Sheryl Lee, I don`t want to be biased here, but I think Nancy Grace is a great idea. Now, the question is, would Casey Anthony dare to do it with Nancy Grace?

RALPH: Listen, Casey Anthony is not going to be talking to anybody for a very long time. She is in a bad predicament. We may not know what happened, but Casey knows what happened.

And if she`s smart, she`ll be taking a great deal of time away from the bright lights. Casey, shut up and sit down for right now.

DIAZ: All right. Michael Billy, you`re on fire big guy. What do you think? Casey Anthony, would she dare do it?

BILLY: Hey, man. Nancy Grace would be a perfect match for her. Who doesn`t want to see Nancy call her "tot mom" to her face?

DIAZ: That`s a good point.

BILLY: Yes. If I were Casey Anthony, I would be quiet. But you know what? Her psychological make-up, she`s going to want to talk sooner or later. This is a girl who loves attention.

DIAZ: Yes. It turns a county fair in Lexington, Kentucky is suffering some major backlash after offering up a Casey Anthony look-alike who with taunt fair goers to dunk her.

Well, today, the dunking booth has been shut down. It turns out there were so many complaints they had to shut down the dunking booth.

Sheryl Lee, the fair managers thought it would be a funny idea. I`m thinking they don`t really understand how much hatred there really is out there for Casey Anthony.

RALPH: Absolutely. And we live in the United States of America, government for the people, by the people, and a jury of her peers found her non-guilty.

We cannot have this vigilante spirit, no matter how we feel in America right now towards anybody. We`ve been through that and we know the results. We may not agree, but let`s just leave it alone because God`s going to take care of that. He always does.

DIAZ: All right. Billy, quickly, would you throw out the guilty or not guilty button in that dunking tank?

BILLY: Hey, not guilty. I go with the law. I put my trust in the justice system as well all should.

RALPH: Yes.

BILLY: She`s not guilty and she`s a citizen of the United States therefore she should be protected.

DIAZ: Michael Billy, Sheryl Lee Ralph, guys, thanks so much. Well, we all know Paris Hilton has never met a TV camera she doesn`t like.

But tonight, an astonishing sight. Paris Hilton having a complete meltdown on TV, storming off in the middle of an interview.

DIAZ: Whoa. A seriously peeved Paris Hilton storms off during a "Good Morning America" interview today. What the heck happened? I`ll tell you why Paris got so fired up and why Kim Kardashian might have something to do with it.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Carlos Diaz. Tonight, Paris is burning.

It is no secret that Paris Hilton`s reality show and the ratings for that show are basically in the toilet. Well, this morning, she was asked about that on "Good Morning America," and the reporter pretty much asked if she thinks Kim Kardashian is more successful than Paris. You have got to see what happened next.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE REPORTER: Do you worry at times that the people who have followed in your footsteps, like Kim Kardashian, are overshadowing you?

HILTON: No, not at all.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE REPORTER: There`s been some talk about the ratings on the show being low. Has that upset you?

HILTON: No.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE REPORTER: Do you have a feeling of - do you ever worry about - do you ever worry about your moment having passed? You want to wrap up?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What followed was a long, heated conversation with Hilton and her publicist.

HILTON: Well, I don`t want all these being used.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

DIAZ: Wow. Wow. She wants all of that cut out of the interview. But why not just say, "Hey, Dan, I`m doing great. Let move on"?

Kelli Zink, who is the host of "CelebTV.com." Kelli, talk about thin skin. Or do you think she had every right to blow up like that?

KELLI ZINK, HOST, "CELEBTV.COM": You know, absolutely not. And I spoke to an L.A. publicist who deals with celebrities. And they say they tell their clients there`s never any competition.

So Paris shouldn`t even think of Kim Kardashian that way. She should have said, "You know what? I`m fine. Let`s talk about my career, my reality show and just move on."

Getting up and leaving showed that she still has an attitude. And guess what? In life, we don`t all have publicists to consult. If you want to be respected as a businesswoman, then act like one.

DIAZ: You know, I`ve got to be honest. I`ve interviewed Paris who are than a half dozen times and I`ve got that look before. I`ve gotten look off camera -

ZINK: So have I.

DIAZ: Oh, yes? We all have.

ZINK: Oh, yes!

DIAZ: Oh, yes. It`s not pretty. Paris did return to the interview and finished with a smile on her face. But out to Rachel Zalis, contributing editor for "Life and Style Weekly."

Rachel, what do you think set her off? The Kim Kardashian suggestion? Or I`m thinking maybe it`s that it finally hit Paris that she`s not hot anymore.

ZALIS: It`s true. That`s what set her off, the absolute truth that the world according to Paris isn`t so fabulous anymore. You know, but she`s 30, it`s time to grow up.

She runs a billion dollar business. You cannot freeze up or storm out every time someone asks you a question that you don`t like. Even though I`ve got to tell you I do prefer Paris when she doesn`t speak, so maybe there is something good that comes out it.

DIAZ: Wow. I`ve got to move on now to Jessica Simpson and her baby bump mania. Could Jessica Simpson be pushing a baby carriage before her marriage? Ashton Kutcher bares all for his new role on "Two and a Half Men." And the First Lady gets into the extreme construction business. It`s all making big news in "The Buzz Today."

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

DIAZ: Michelle Obama`s makeover? ABC has just revealed the First Lady is headed to "Extreme Makeover Home Edition" to make her very first appearance on a network TV reality show.

Mrs. Obama is traveling to Fayetteville, North Carolina this week to tape the show and she`ll roll up her sleeves to help expand a building just outside Ft. Bragg which shelters homeless female veterans. The episode will air in October.

Two and a half naked men. Ashton Kutcher stripped nude alongside his co-stars in the first peek promo for CBS` revamped "Two and a Half Men." Kutcher and his cast mates hold a sign reading, "All will be revealed," teasing how they plan to write Charlie Sheen`s character out and Kutcher`s into the hit sitcom.

Kutcher replaced Sheen after Sheen was famously fired from the show earlier this year. "Two and a Half Men" returns for its ninth season September 19th.

Jessica`s baby-bump blowback. Jessica Simpson has just smacked down reports that she`s pregnant. Simpson was snapped by a paparazzi photo agency which published this shot and suggested in captions she looked like she had a baby bump.

The publicist fired back telling "HollywoodLife.com," "This photo agency is full of malarkey. She is not pregnant."

(END VIDEOTAPE)

DIAZ: So the big news, no, it not the use of the word "malarkey." Jessica`s not pregnant. That`s the big news, even though it seems a lot of people keep wishing she was pregnant. That leads to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, why are people so obsessed with Jessica having a baby?

This isn`t the first time unflattering photos of Jessica have surfaced sparking baby rumors. But this time, Jessica actually responded. Rachel, to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, why are people so obsessed with Jessica having a baby?

ZALIS: Man, could we give a girl a break. We all know Jessica`s weight fluctuates and we`re like obsessed with this. I mean, this is definitely going to be the billion dollar baby, though. That empire is enormous.

DIAZ: Yes.

ZALIS: But you know, let her put on a couple pounds and be happy.

DIAZ: And you know, maybe if you do, you don`t wear something that tight. Kelli, what do you think? Why is it such an obsession?

ZINK: Unflattering angle, first of all. And I think everyone just wants Jessica Simpson to be happy. And a lot of people equate happy with baby, so they want her to get pregnant, have the family that she clearly has spoken about and wants.

But please, the girl`s been working out for her wedding. Jessica should just lift up her shirt, take a picture of her flat stomach and tweet that as the answer.

DIAZ: OK. So Jessica Simpson lifting up her shirt is an answer. I`ve got that. OK, good. I did some research today and Jessica has been on the baby bump watch since November when she got engaged to Eric Johnson.

These two aren`t even married yet. So Rachel, quickly, do you think Jessica put the kibosh on all the speculation? Or did she stoke the fire?

ZALIS: Listen, I think Jessica loves to get media attention, so I think she`s always going to stoke the fire. But I just think at the end of the day, she does what she wants. I don`t think she`s as motivated by what the press is saying about her. She`s happy right now.

DIAZ: Rachel and Kelli, thanks so much. Thank you guys so much. We`ve got to leave it right there.

All right. Kim Kardashian outraged tonight. Kim`s suing Old Navy. She`s accusing them of using a Kim-postor.

(MUSIC)

DIAZ: Wait, that`s not Kim Kardashian? I`ve got to say there is a resemblance. But wait until you hear about how Kim says this ad has affected her bottom line. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

TEXT: "Grey`s Anatomy" star Eric Dane in rehab for addiction to painkillers. U.S. soccer stars Hope Solo and Alex Morgan react to World Cup loss.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HOPE SOLO: I don`t think the dust has settled quite yet. I think we`re all going to depart, go our separate ways and we`re going to find some alone time.

And we`re going to realize that, you know, we didn`t come back with the goals. And every true athlete has to go through that moment, but we know that we did excellent job, so you know, it`s tough but we`re OK with it right now.

DIAZ: This Old Navy ad had a lot of people doing a double take. It looks like Kim Kardashian, but it`s actually a look-alike. And tonight, we can tell you Kim is furious about this Kim-postor.

Kim K. is reportedly so mad at Old Navy for using a look-alike, she is suing the company. TMZ reports today that Kim is filing a lawsuit claiming Old Navy intentionally used the look alike to make people think she was affiliated with the company.

Now, here`s the kicker. Kim thinks this commercial caused her bank account to take a hit. How much? Wait for it - how about $15 to $20 million.

Joining me from Chicago is "CelebTV.com" host, Kelli Zink. And from New York is TV and radio host, Michael Billy.

I think this lawsuit is ridiculous. Michael, whatever happened to imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? Or do you have - you think Kim has the right to complain?

BILLY: I mean, I get it. Undoubtedly, this woman looks exactly like Kim Kardashian. But drop the lawsuit. I mean, $15 million to $20 million is a lot of money to anybody. If you`re asking me, I think Kim K. is jealous because Melissa is Kim K. without the annoying voice.

DIAZ: Wow. OK.

BILLY: I`m sorry. Just not a big fan of Kim K. at this point. Definitely jealousy.

DIAZ: You have the right to your opinion. That is great. Now, the Old Navy ad features Kim`s clone and it came out in February. So a lot of people are wondering, why is she suing now? Kelli, could it be that Kim found out her ex, Reggie Bush, is now dating that same girl that starred in the ad? Do I smell jealousy?

ZINK: I don`t think so, A.J. Kim has what she wants. She`s got a ring. She has a millionaire. You know, the only one who should be sued is Reggie Bush for not having any originality in the women that he dates.

This girl is not a Kim rip-off. I mean, Kim Kardashian does not own the rights to bad extensions and a booty.

DIAZ: All right. And for the record, I look nothing like A.J. Hammer. All right. So Michael weighs in right now about what the heck is going on with this lawsuit. Do you think that in court, they`re going to basically talk about, I don`t know, comparing the two and their assets?

BILLY: She does have a leg to stand on here and here`s why. The company sends out tweets about how funny it is that this woman, Melissa, looks like Kim K. They`re acknowledging it. It purposeful.

This is very clear. I mean, you can`t get it wrong. Kim does have a leg to stand on if she goes through with this lawsuit. Absolutely.

DIAZ: All right. Kelli is shaking her head. I think that is a no. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT reached out to both Kim Kardashian and Old Navy for comment. As of show time, they`ve not gotten back to us. Kelli Zink and Michael Billy, thanks so much, guys.

That`s SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Carlos Diaz. Remember you can catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusively Monday through Friday at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific right here on HLN.
