(MUSIC)

Hello. I`m Carlos Diaz in for A.J. Hammer with big news breaking tonight -- who`s afraid of Nancy Grace?

I don`t know, let`s see. Could it be Conrad Murray? It sure seems that way tonight because SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you his lawyers are demanding that jurors be prohibited from watching "NANCY GRACE" right here on HLN when Murray goes to trial on charges he was responsible for Michael Jackson`s death.

And if you thought it could not get any stranger, Murray`s lawyers are even tapping into the so-called Casey Anthony factor to try to prove they have a point.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) Michael Jackson`s personal doctor, Conrad Murray, is about to face trial on charges of involuntary manslaughter for allegedly giving Jackson the anesthesia that killed him.

But as Conrad Murray faces the prospect of four years in prison if convicted, there`s one person he may fear more than any other. Is it the judge? A prosecutor? A member of Jackson`s family who may think he`s getting off too easy?

No, Conrad Murray fears someone even more dangerous --

NANCY GRACE, HOST, "THE NANCY GRACE SHOW": Dr. Conrad Murray in an L.A. courtroom --

DIAZ: HLN`s Nancy Grace.

NINA PARKER, PRODUCER, TMZ: The attorneys for Dr. Conrad Murray want the jurors to not watch "NANCY GRACE."

DIAZ: That`s right. Conrad Murray`s attorneys appear to be so afraid of what Nancy Grace may say on her show, they have just asked the judge to consider sequestering the jurors in his upcoming trial so that they won`t be able to watch her show on HLN.

PARKER: the attorneys know that it kind of impossible to tell jurors not watch TV just because they simply will. So the attorneys` idea is to have the jurors sequestered for the remainder of the trial, all because of Nancy Grace.

DIAZ: Now, we here at SHOWBIZ TONIGHT work with Nancy Grace and we find our HLN colleague to be a perfectly warm and nice lady. So why on earth are Dr. Murray`s attorneys so scared of her?

GRACE: What a crock of BS.

DIAZ: It all has to do with Nancy`s coverage of the trial of Casey Anthony, who was acquitted on charges she murdered her two-year-old daughter, Caylee.

GRACE: Let me just say the devil is dancing tonight --

DIAZ: Nancy was unflinching --

GRACE: Tot mom uses and abuses her parents, George and Cindy --

DIAZ: Combative.

GRACE: Live it up, Casey Anthony. Go ahead!

DIAZ: And blunt with her opinion about Casey`s alleged role in little Caylee`s death.

GRACE: What I think is outrageous is, number one, a killer walking free.

DIAZ: And Dr. Murray`s attorneys fear that during his trial, Nancy will take aim at him.

GRACE: Was it an accident? You hooked him up.

DIAZ: Conrad`s attorney, Michael Flanagan, argues if jurors watch Nancy Grace`s show here on HLN, it will be like they`re watching a nightly final argument by the prosecution.

He says, quote, "How many final arguments do we have to face in this case? Are we going to face the one in the courtroom and the one when they go home?"

In the past, Nancy has made her opinions about Dr. Murray well-known.

GRACE: He doped up Michael Jackson until he was a zombie and let him die.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Nancy, we actually agree here --

DIAZ: TMZ tells Nina Parker Dr. Murray wants no part of Nancy.

PARKER: They definitely could be concerned about nicknames, of interviews that she may do with people in Dr. Murray`s past and any type of commentary that she may have.

DIAZ: On her show last night here on HLN, Nancy Grace herself addressed the new claims from Murray`s attorneys.

GRACE: The doctor charged in the death of music superstar Michael Jackson wants the jury sequestered from me, from us, claiming watching "NANCY GRACE" will prevent a fair trial, that the jury will be biased. So I guess that makes us the good guys.

DIAZ: So will the jury deciding if Murray killed Michael Jackson be cooped up?

PARKER: Right now the judge feels the sequestering is unnecessary and very expensive. He`s still allowing them to go ahead and file a motion if they want to. But you know, the judge obviously isn`t a big fan of doing the sequestering.

DIAZ: So for now, we`ll have to see if a court will protect Dr. Murray from what he fears will be the wrath of Nancy.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

So does Conrad Murray have good reason to be running scared? All right. Here`s our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint. Should the lawyers for Michael Jackson`s doctor be afraid of Nancy Grace?

Joining me right now in Hollywood is investigative journalist, Pat Lalama. Also in Hollywood tonight is Alan Duke, who is the CNN Wire Entertainment editor.

I`ve got to think that defense lawyers around the country are terrified of the way HLN`s Nancy Grace speaks out so fearlessly like she did during the Casey Anthony trial.

But I want to point out that Nancy spent a lot of her life working inside the justice system as a prosecutor. And she has always said she has a great respect for jurors and the sacrifices they make.

Pat, to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, should the jurors -- should the lawyers for Michael Jackson`s doctor be afraid of Nancy Grace?

PAT LALAMA, INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALIST: This is crazy. I`m changing Conrad`s name to "Comrade Murray" because, clearly, these people want a police state and a state-controlled media that dictates what we hear.

How ludicrous is this? And as someone who occasionally fills in for Nancy, I find this particularly interesting. The backbone of America is freedom of speech. We must maintain that.

She is a qualified person. She is allowed to express her opinion. She doesn`t pretend to be a journalist. People can turn it off.

And by the way, if we`re so worried about the jury system that these people can`t separate what their preconceived notions might be from being able to weigh the evidence fairly, then we need professional jurors. We need to dismantle the whole system as it appears right now.

DIAZ: Well, Pat, I can see why you fill in for Nancy Grace. All right. Alan, to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, should Conrad Murray`s lawyers be worried about Nancy Grace?

ALAN DUKE, EDITOR, CNN WIRE ENTERTAINMENT: First of all, they`re not trying to muzzle Nancy Grace. Who would want to try to do that? She`ll still be on the air.

But what they`re trying to do is the basic right of a jury that`s untainted. And of course no jury, whether sequestered or not, in any case, should watch any coverage of it, and they just want to ensure that. That`s why they`re considering asking for them to be sequestered.

DIAZ: Well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can reveal the judge in the case against Michael Jackson`s doctors said sequestering the jury O.J. Simpson style would be way too expensive, and he just doesn`t see any reason to do it.

And guess what? Nancy Grace agrees. Watch what she said on her show right here on HLN.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: The doctor charged in the death of music superstar, Michael Jackson, killing him allegedly with an overdose of powerful propofol anesthesia wants the jury sequestered from me, from us, claiming watching Nancy Grace will prevent a fair trial and that the jury will be biased. So I guess that makes us the good guys.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

DIAZ: Pat, you heard what Nancy said right there. Is it absurd to think that watching Nancy Grace could get in the way of a fair trial?

LALAMA: I think these are desperate people. I hate to say it. I`d like to see this trial proceed. I`d like to see it be fair. But she is a person who is absolutely qualified to assess a trial as she sees fit.

She is not pretending to be a journalist. She is a prosecutor. Are we going to stop the broadcast of any show that has an opinion in the United States of America?

And, look, I`ve been called for jury duty on August 29th. I might get a high-profile case. I probably already have a preconceived notion about this case.

But the question is, can I separate that from being able to go into a courtroom and assess the evidence fairly and make my judgment?

A lot of the jurors in the Casey Anthony trial said they were aware of the case. Some had opinions, but they promised the court "I can separate." And that`s all it boils down to.

DIAZ: Alan, quickly, you`ve been a guest with Nancy Grace before, correct?

DUKE: Yes, several times.

DIAZ: OK, so yes. You know that when you`re on Nancy Grace, you`ve got to know your facts because if you don`t, she`s going to call you on it.

I mean, Alan, isn`t Nancy basically the one person out there who wants to dig and wants to get as much of the facts out there as possible?

LALAMA: Yes.

DUKE: Yes, but the judge is limiting the facts as they`re presented in the courtroom. And I promise you there would be a mistrial if the judge finds out any one of those jurors hear one minute of Nancy Grace talking about the Conrad Murray case. And that`s what they`re trying to avoid.

DIAZ: All right, guys. I really appreciate. Pat Lalama, Alan Duke, thanks so much. And don`t forget the wall-to-wall coverage of the Conrad Murray trial starts right here on HLN September 8.

All right. Tonight, the SHOWBIZ legal team takes on J-Lo and Kim Kardashian. Kim K.`s big bucks lawsuit over a look alike in Old Navy commercials. Does Kim really have a shot at winning?

And J-Lo`s split from Marc Anthony. Will there be a nasty battle for their estimated $250 million empire? The SHOWBIZ legal team gets the work.

And Snooki doing the samba. We may find out if that`s true. There are brand-new reports tonight that she could end up on "Dancing with the Stars." Our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint coming up, would this be a first pumping good time or just a total mess? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" -- more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

DIAZ: Tonight, worshipping Wendi, the remarkable worldwide buzz about Rupert Murdoch`s wife jumping to his defense when a man tried to smack him in the face with a pie during the tabloid phone hacking hearing.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Carlos Diaz, and it`s the seen and heard across the social media landscape tonight.

Wendi Murdoch`s right hook has become all the rage. And today, Wendi`s fans multiplied so fast as a result of her coming to her husband`s rescue that she`s even got Facebook pages, plural, dedicated to her.

With me right now in New York is Midwin Charles, who is a criminal defense attorney and my good friend.

Midwin, this really is remarkable. Murdoch is seen as such an evil villain these days --

MIDWIN CHARLES, CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Right.

DIAZ: But his wife, a total hero. Take a look at this. On one of Wendi`s Facebook pages, Ann R. wrote, "You go, girl. You showed him who to mess with. You are strong. You are bold. You are woman. Keep standing by your man. I am for you."

So she`s become a hero, Midwin. So many people hate her husband right now. A lot of people would have loved to see that pie smack Rupert Murdoch in the face. Why has Wendi become such a hero?

CHARLES: Well, talk about crouching tiger, hidden dragon. I mean, she gives a new definition to "stand by your man," right, Tammy Wynette`s famous song.

I think her actions -- what they did was humanized Rupert Murdoch because, like you said, he`s been seen as this kind of mean, old villain and the hacking scandal. And the manner in which he`s run news corporations, I think some people will find questionable.

But by doing that, she humanized him and said that, look, this is a normal human being who is under attack and he deserves to be defended.

DIAZ: Well, there are some Web sites today calling Wendi everything from "tiger woman" to "Charlie`s Angel." One of my friends in Tampa called her "ride or die."

CHARLES: That`s right. Ride or die chick.

DIAZ: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT did a little digging to find out who Wendi is besides Rupert Murdoch`s wife. All right. The 42-year-old is a former volleyball champion.

She likes to bike. She has famous friends including Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman. She lives the good life with her 80-year-old husband, Rupert. And they own a whopping eight homes including a $44 million penthouse on 10th Ave.

Now, naturally, many people see a 42-year-old woman married to an 80- year-old dude and they think gold digger. But Midwin, they`ve been married for 11 years. They`ve got two kids together and Wendi jumped up and slapped down her husband`s attacker quicker than you can say "gold digger." If that`s not love, I don`t know what is.

CHARLES: Well, I mean, there`s love and then, like you said, there`s the eight properties and $44 million penthouse. So you know, what`s not to love?

DIAZ: Oh, come on!

CHARLES: She clearly is a woman who is standing by her man. I don`t think anyone can dispute that. If she loves him, hey, albeit, go for it.

DIAZ: Midwin, I can`t believe you don`t believe in love. I`m thinking that maybe --

CHARLES: I didn`t say that. I didn`t say that.

DIAZ: You`re implying that she loves the houses --

CHARLES: I`m just saying there`s a lot to love. He probably has a wonderful heart as well as those eight properties and the $44 million Fifth Avenue penthouse.

DIAZ: And I think we`ll leave it right there, Midwin. You`re amazing. Thank you so much. I know you`d come to my defense if someone threw a pie at me.

CHARLES: I most certainly would. I`d slap them.

DIAZ: All right. You are right with that. Plenty of calls coming in to "Showbiz on Call" tonight about Casey Anthony. There are no signs of them slowing down at all. Elizabeth from Virginia thinks Casey has a right to cash in.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

ELIZABETH, CALLER FROM VIRGINIA: I want to see Casey in interviews, in magazines, movies, books. Casey has a right and we, as a public, have a right to hear from Casey.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

DIAZ: Wow. Not a popular opinion but Susan calling from Alabama disagrees.

SUSAN, CALLER FROM ALABAMA: I think Casey Anthony is enjoying all the media coverage and all the status that she`s obtained. I think that the world should boycott anyone that offers to pay Casey Anthony any money to show up on any program.

DIAZ: Thanks, Susan. All right. What do you think? Call us on our "Showbiz on Call" line about anything else that might be on your mind.

(MUSIC)

DIAZ: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m Carlos Diaz in for A.J. Hammer with breaking news tonight -- Casey 911.

New tonight -- the wife of one of Casey`s defense attorneys calling 911 after being harassed with threatening phone calls. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained the audiotape of Cheney Mason`s wife, Shirley, calling 911. Got to listen to this.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

SHIRLEY MASON, WIFE OF CHENEY MASON: I`m sorry. I`m trying to get a telephone number where I can contact someone from the Seminole County Sheriff`s department. Every number that I can get from information says that their offices are closed.

911 OPERATOR: OK. What is going on?

S. MASON: I`m just getting a lot of threatening phone calls at my home. And I`m trying to get the telephone company to cooperate.

I`m trying to get someone to -- if not, I mean, I hate to call you, but every number that I have is not answering. They say their offices are closed. I would just like an officer to respond so I can get something done.

911 OPERATOR: No problem, I`ll get one out there.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

DIAZ: Wow. Seminole County Sheriff`s Office tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT this is now a criminal investigation. Now, according to TMZ, one of the threats that came in went like this, "Your scumbag husband and Baez (Casey`s other attorney) better sleep with one eye open."

First, Casey gets death threats. Now, people are going after her lawyers. But here`s my question -- should they even be surprised?

Joining me now in Hollywood is my good friend and investigative journalist, Pat Lalama.

Now, I don`t want to make light of all this. People should leave these guys alone. But Pat, does this 911 call clearly show that the Casey haters are real, that they`re scary and that they should not be taken lightly?

LALAMA: They are real. They are scary. I don`t think there are that many of them. I think the issue is this -- it is irrational. It is illegal. And these people should be afforded the same kind of protection -- I`m talking about he lawyer and his wife -- as any law-abiding citizen.

It is completely out of control. I`ve got to tell you, if I made a threat against someone every time I found an injustice in the world, no one would be safe.

There are injustices. We can be very unhappy about this verdict, but it is wrong to behave this way. And I hope that they get protection. I`m very concerned for them.

But I do believe it`s a handful of irrational people who actually need therapy. These people are not well if they`re this incensed about a verdict. There`s a lot of verdicts we disagree with in America.

DIAZ: Well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT reached out to Cheney Mason and his wife. We did not hear back from them as of show time. But Cheney Mason has remained adamant about defending Casey.

And after she got out of jail, he spoke with CNN Orlando affiliate WKMG and they made it clear they were concerned about Casey`s safety.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CHENEY MASON, CASEY ANTHONY`S ATTORNEY: The good part is she`s gone. She`s safe. She`s protected. Nobody will find her.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You say gone. Gone from Central Florida?

C. MASON: I`m not going to tell that you either. She`s gone from the jail. She`s not here and she`s not in my house.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

DIAZ: All right. This is one of those things where you have to wonder. We`ve got 20 seconds. Should Casey worry about her safety now?

LALAMA: Of course, she should. But I think, again, it`s just a matter of a handful of lunatics, but you`ll never know where that one lunatic may show up.

And I think as long as she`s acquitted and she abides by the law, she deserves protection, the kind of same lawful protection like anyone else. Not special attention, but lawful attention.

DIAZ: Pat Lalama, thank you very much. All right. Let`s shift gears now. Moving on to Bristol Palin`s big sex bombshells tonight.

In a brand-new explosive interview with HLN`s Dr. Drew Pinsky, airing tonight, Bristol reveals some startling details about her birth control slip-up with Levi Johnston.

She says that when she was on the pill, she got pregnant. Bristol on the pill? And what does she really think about the night Levi allegedly got her drunk and had sex with her?

Dr. Drew joins me right now in Hollywood, and his show airs each and every night at 9:00 p.m. and midnight Eastern right here on HLN.

Now, Dr. Drew, this really was an unbelievably fascinating interview with Bristol Palin. I`ve watched the thing and it`s amazing. We`ve heard her talk about her sex regrets as a teen, but never quite like this.

Let`s watch when Bristol revealed to you that she was on the pill when she got pregnant. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PINSKY: In your book, you say it`s more than -- you didn`t practice safe sex after a while. You got on the pill, though, if I got that right.

B. PALIN: Yes, I was on birth control and I got pregnant. And I had stopped taking it for, like, three or four days. And then --

PINSKY: You left that out of the book.

B. PALIN: No, that`s in the book.

PINSKY: I didn`t see that.

B. PALIN: That`s in the book. It really is in the book.

PINSKY: Because if you miss a pill, you`re not taking the pill the way you`re supposed to.

B. PALIN: Yes, it wasn`t used effectively. But I was on birth control and it wasn`t used effectively at all.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

DIAZ: It wasn`t used effectively or just wasn`t used correctly. Dr. Drew, were you shocked to hear her say that? Was she being delusional when she thought that she was protecting herself?

PINSKY: No, I mean, it the way so many teenagers think. It`s "Look, I`m on the pill. I`m on contraceptives. However, I`m only taking it every so often."

And you know, just a reminder out there to every young person watching, these things have to be done the same way every day, used precisely as they`re designed to be used or they are not effective.

DIAZ: Well, Dr. Drew, I watched your interview with Bristol. It seemed to me that Bristol was pretty matter-of-fact about the whole thing. And she was smiling when you called her out on that.

What do you make of all the smiling that she did during your interview with her when you were talking about some pretty deep issues?

PINSKY: You`ve got to remember this is a 20-year-old. And so 20-year-olds are not necessarily emotionally open books. It`s not easy for them to access emotions. They tend to be somewhat blunted.

But she was particularly so. I called her out on that a number of times. You know, she`ll describe something very, very painful and then brush over it with this delightful little smile.

And I say, you know, "Bristol, that`s got to have hurt." I could see pain behind her eyes. And as we started talking, it became increasingly clear that while she loves her family, and they seem to have a nice stable family system, there`s what we call enmeshment where everybody is tightly wound together, which is, you know, not a horrible.

But it could be a liability particularly in your teen years when you don`t have a clear sense of yourself. And then, mom gets pulled away, say, by a busy job like governorship. And that`s when the teens act out and that`s what happened in this case.

DIAZ: Well, I have to get to the next Bristol bombshell in your exclusive interview which we can see your show tonight on HLN.

We`ve heard Bristol talk about the fact that she thinks her ex, Levi Johnston, stole her virginity by getting her drunk one night one wine coolers.

She says she`s over that and she didn`t want to call it date rape. But you spoke to her about guys like Levi Johnston taking responsibility in situations like that. Let`s watch what she said to you.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

B. PALIN: When a girl gets pregnant as a teen, it`s her and her family that are going to have to deal with the consequences. Usually, the boy and his family don`t have to deal with them.

PINSKY: That`s interesting. So we need to raise our buys a little differently.

B. PALIN: We need to raise the standards for them, yes.

PINSKY: Because Levi`s behavior was reprehensible, frankly.

B. PALIN: Yes, definitely. And I --

PINSKY: He got you drunk underage. And then, in this state, it would have been a rape. I would not want my sons doing that, thank you.

B. PALIN: Yes.

PINSKY: I hope they wouldn`t.

B. PALIN: I don`t want my son doing that.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

DIAZ: Now, Dr. Drew, she didn`t disagree with you at that point, when you said what you did -- about Levi -- about Levi getting her drunk and sleeping with her and how that would be considered rape in some states. She nodded her head and smiled. What does that tell you?

PINSKY: Yes, you saw they`re getting that delightful smile. Earlier, I raised the same issue because I`ve not really heard that story told quite the way she told it. She was in a blackout. She didn`t remember the next morning.

And in California, you have to be of a mind to able to render consent. And if you`re intoxicated and you actually can`t give consent -- so I brought that up to her and said, "In California, you know, that`s considered rape."

And she said, "Well, no, no. In our case, I never would have thought it as a rape because we had a sustained relationship afterward and got engaged."

Think about that kind of teenage thinking. It`s like, "No, no. What he did was OK because we got engaged." It`s like, no, it doesn`t make it OK.

DIAZ: Yes.

PINSKY: But you know, she`s only 20 and she`s out there struggling, like every teen mom, trying to make the best of a very cautionary tale.

DIAZ: Dr. Drew Pinsky, thank you so much. All right, you can catch Dr. Drew every night at 9:00 p.m. and again at midnight Eastern right here on HLN.

All right. Tonight, J-Lo and Kim Kardashian, their big money legal battles. The SHOWBIZ legal team is on the case.

STEVE WILLIAMS, FORMER CADDY OF TIGER WOODS: Well, I mean, as I just said, it`s not disappointing to get fired. I understand the nature of this business. That`s the way it is.

But you know, given the fact of my loyalty and the way that I am, I mean, the timing of it is pretty poor, really. As you`ve just pointed it out, I`ve stood by this guy through thick and thin. And the timing of it is very poor, from my perspective.

DIAZ: Jennifer Lopez may be in the middle of an emotional divorce from Marc Anthony, but she still made time to celebrate someone else`s marriage.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT learned today that J-Lo just performed at a wedding in the Ukraine and reportedly got paid a whopping $1 million. Maybe money eases the pain.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Carlos Diaz. Back to J-Lo in a moment. But first, Kim`s counterattack. Kim Kardashian has just filed a lawsuit against Old Navy for using a Kim Kardashian look alike in their commercials. The similarity is actually pretty shocking. Check this out.

(MUSIC)

All right. So what`s Kim suing about? Well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained the court documents today. And we have the lawsuit right here. Let bring in the SHOWBIZ legal team right now, shall we?

In New York tonight is Midwin Charles, who is an attorney for Midwin Charles and Associates. Also in New York, Vikki Ziegler, who is a family attorney.

All right. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT learned new details about the lawsuit today when we got our hands on the complaint. Kim Kardashian`s lawyers have filed this complaint over the whole fiasco.

They say Old Navy is making bucks off Kim`s image without her consent. Let`s take a look at the big part of the complaint.

Right here, in Article 38 of this very lengthy complaint, Kim`s lawyer`s got a big beef and the big beef is, quote, "The use of the plaintiff`s name, likeness, identity and persona by defendants` misappropriation was purposely designed and intended to confuse, to cause mistake and to deceive the public into believing the plaintiff was appearing in the infringing ads and/or the plaintiff sponsored, endorsed or was associated with defendants` products, services and performances."

Midwin, those are fancy schmancy legal mambo-jumbo fighting words right there. Kim makes millions off her image. If she won this thing, what could she get?

CHARLES: Oh, she could get some serious damages. I mean, I understand that the complaint was filed and the damages requested are unspecified.

Usually, what you would do -- there would be an accounting to determine how much would she normally be paid if she were asked to sponsor or be a sponsor for this particular business. And then, that`s how you would decide damages.

But I think she`s has a viable claim here. She`s incredibly popular. Her image is worldwide. She`s recognizable.

She`s got about nine million followers on Twitter. So this is a woman who, if she is sponsoring a product, she`s going to sell that product.

DIAZ: All right. So Midwin says that she`s kind of looking at Kim Kardashian`s point of view. We reached out to Old Navy today and they had no comment.

But listen, there`s another uncomfortable element here. Kim`s doppelganger is, of course, in that Old Navy commercial, and she`s also dating her ex, Reggie Bush.

Melissa Molinaro is weighing in today and taking a jab at Kim. She tweeted today, "We`re still talking about this? It`s July. This aired in February. Some people have too much time on their hands."

Oh, snap. Vikki, I`m thinking an all-out war is brewing between Kim Kardashian and her look alike. How do you see this legal mess winding up?

VIKKI ZIEGLER, FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY: Well, it`s very interesting, Carlos. And the timing is a very important point here. This aired five months ago, this ad for Old Navy.

Now, the litigation was filed, so that`s curious to me, why it didn`t happen when it first came out? But put that aside for a second, look, I think it`s a 50/50 talk. There have been people, celebrities in the public eye, that have won lawsuits like this.

Jackie Onassis. Vanna White. They have stopped look-alikes from appearing in ads. The question is, did Old Navy intentionally try to deceive the public and use Kim Kardashian`s asset, her face, everything about her?

DIAZ: Well --

ZIEGLER: That`s the question. Did they or didn`t they? And I think it`s going to be a legal battle. I can`t really determine what the answer is. Maybe settle it out of court.

But these Kardashians litigate. Remember, their deceased father was an attorney.

DIAZ: OK. I don`t think Kim Kardashian`s asset is her face. It could be something else.

ZIEGLER: I said other assets -- other assets.

DIAZ: All right, SHOWBIZ legal team. Let`s look at the Jennifer Lopez- Marc Anthony divorce mess. J-Lo is still raking in big bucks.

Here`s a video someone posted on YouTube of J-Lo dancing her gorgeous behind off at a Ukrainian wedding and she got paid $1 million. And she can add that million to her already enormous estate.

Now, "People" magazine is reporting the financial split between she and Marc Anthony is totally amicable. But Midwin, let`s face it. I mean, there`s around $250 million. Can`t you see there being some kind of clash of the empires?

CHARLES: I mean, they may decide that it`s not worth it to do that. Remember, they had twins, a boy and a girl. And they may decide that fighting over their assets is not in the best interest of these little kids.

And also, remember, both of them have the capacity to continue earning. J-Lo just proved it by performing at this wedding for $1 million.

And Marc Anthony is the bestselling salsa artist of all time. So he can still continue to generate his own income. So hopefully, they decide it`s not in the best interest of the kids to fight over it.

ZIEGLER: Carlos, I`m a divorce attorney --

DIAZ: We`re out of time. We`re out of time. I`m sorry.

ZIEGLER: Oh, no!

DIAZ: You hold that thought. We`ll get to you at a different time. All right. Vikki, Midwin, thanks so much.

DIAZ: Could Snooki become the next dancing queen? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you there are reports today that Snooki is in talks to join the next "Dancing with the Stars" season.

And that leads to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint -- would it be a good idea for Snooki to join "Dancing with the Stars"?

Right now in Atlanta, Jenn Hobby who is the co-host of radio`s wildly popular, "The Bert Show," possibly the best show ever on radio.

All right. ABC is remaining tight-lipped on the stars that they`ve got lined up for season 13 of the show. But Jenn, to our flashpoint, would it be a good idea for Snooki to join "Dancing with the Stars"?

JENN HOBBY, CO-HOST, "THE BERT SHOW": Carlos, absolutely. This would be a great idea for Snooki because it helps her redefine her character. Now, that is if she works hard and she`s not lazy. You know, we know her --

DIAZ: Well, hold on. Hold on. That might knock her out of the equation right there. Working hard and not being lazy. Snooki`s "Jersey Shore" buddy, The Situation, was on "Dancing with the Stars" last season.

And you`ve got to check out what Snooki told "Access Hollywood" when they asked her if she would ever do the show. Watch this.

NICOLE "SNOOKI" POLIZZI: I feel like "Dancing with the Stars" is for, like, celebrities that fell off and they need a way to get back in.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You just took a dig at your boy, The Situation.

POLIZZI: Well, he made a bad decision but he did good anyway.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

DIAZ: He did good.

HOBBY: Wow. Wow.

DIAZ: I thought (UNINTELLIGIBLE) he did good. All right. Jenn, she thought doing the show was a bad move for The Sitch and she dissed the show. Why would they want her on the show now?

HOBBY: Well, you know, she does bring that name value and "Jersey Shore`s" been a popular show so they know those younger viewers are going to tune in. And if she works hard, she can really turn her image around, so I think it`s a great idea for her.

DIAZ: All right. Cool. I just, you know, think of all the things that - - you know, the dance moves you could do. She`s so tiny.

HOBBY: That`s true.

DIAZ: You know, she`s a spinner and the whole thing. All right. I`m sorry. Another story making news tonight, Katy Perry trumping Lady Gaga. What?

HOBBY: Wow.

DIAZ: It was just announced that Katy Perry got nine MTV Music Video Awards but Gaga only got three. Jen, Gaga was the big winner last year. What`s going on here?

HOBBY: This is Katy Perry`s year, especially with "Firework." I mean, that video is so touching. It`s compelling. It`s got these incredible storylines and it gives you goose bumps every time you see it.

So I`m thrilled for Katy Perry. She absolutely deserves it. And now, it is a bit of Gaga snub, though, don`t you think, Carlos?

DIAZ: Yes, and does -- real quick, does Katy Perry try to trump Gaga knowing that she has to bring it at the awards show?

HOBBY: Oh, she`s not afraid to bring it. You know, she`s bubblegum, candy, pop and not afraid to make fun of herself either as she saw in last Friday night`s video. She`s got the headgear on, so she`s going to take it over the top, that`s for sure.

DIAZ: All right. Jenn Hobby, thank you so much. Go back to your amazing radio show.

HOBBY: Thank you.

DIAZ: All right. That`s SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Carlos Diaz. Remember, you can catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusively Monday through Friday at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific right here on HLN.
