HAMMER: Hello, I`m A.J. Hammer in New York, and we`ve got big news breaking tonight - Casey photo shocker. There is a massive firestorm brewing today over a doctored photo of Casey Anthony with a bullet mark on her forehead.

The crazy part is it apparently came straight from her legal team. This wild report comes today right as the judge spares Casey from having to return to Orlando, Florida once again, delaying the battle over her probation until next week.

Let me bring you up to speed on all of the craziness going on today. An emergency hearing was scheduled for earlier today in Orlando, the very same place, of course, that Casey was tried and cleared of charges involving the murder of her daughter, Caylee.

The hearing was supposed to determine whether Casey would serve a year of probation in connection of her 2010 conviction for check fraud. Now, this hearing delayed a previous order that would have required Casey to appear in Orlando Probation Office by 10:00 a.m. yesterday morning.

Casey`s defense attorneys now claim that Casey Anthony has already served her one-year probation sentence while she sat in jail, awaiting the trial for her daughter Caylee`s murder.

With me right now from Orlando is Jean Casarez who is a correspondent with "In Session" on our sister network, truTV. And from Atlanta, host of "HLN NEWS NOW," Mike Galanos. Great to have you here on the show, Mike.

MIKE GALANOS, HOST, "HLN NEWS NOW": Thanks, A.J.

HAMMER: So Jean, let me start with you here. Casey spared now yet again. Are you surprised that the judge didn`t make any decision today?

JEAN CASAREZ, CORRESPONDENT, "IN SESSION" ON TRUTV: No, not surprised. She`s spared for the moment, but Judge Stan Strickland`s order that she has to serve a year of probation - that still stands. It is stayed right now, but that is still effectively in place.

But the judge said, "We have no legal precedent here." And the judge said, "This is a mess, and I don`t know what to do." So he`s got to look at law from other states to figure out what is right legally.

HAMMER: Well, I`m looking at this thing, and this is what`s getting me a little angry and it`s getting a whole lot of people upset. Casey`s attorneys are claiming that Casey would need local police security if she was forced to return to Florida.

To prove the point, they reportedly showed the judge a doctored photo of Casey with a bullet mark on her forehead. Now, I`ve got to believe, yes, Casey is a marked woman in some way, wherever she goes.

But Mike, you witnessed firsthand the craziness, the frenzy when Casey first got out of jail. And then, this week, you even saw more frenzy when these pictures reportedly of Casey in Ohio popped up.

What difference does it make if she has to serve probation in Florida? I think it would be a bad situation anywhere.

GALANOS: You`re absolutely right, A.J., and I`ve seen that outrage firsthand. I was there when she was led out of jail. And really, a mild- mannered crowd turned on a dime. So there is that contingent of people that are upset regardless of where she is.

But you heard - and to Jean`s point - Judge Perry talking about security as he tries to meander his way through this legal mess, as he puts it. You know, he`s taking her security into account, maybe the security of probation officers who have to deal with her.

I know we think it`s not fair. It causes even more outrage. But that`s something. That`s a factor here for Judge Perry.

HAMMER: Yes. I guess it really is, and a lot of people probably need to calm down as far as they`re being too overly concerned with the fact that Casey`s getting any kind of special treatment.

I don`t think it`s necessarily a case of special treatment. They`re looking after her. They should be looking after, I suppose.

But let me run down what I think is a pretty interesting scenario, because if Casey does have to serve her probation period, she`d need to find a job. She`d prove that she was looking for one if she didn`t find one. She needs to report to her probation officer once a month.

She`d also have to submit to random checks at her home and her job. There is a possibility that she could serve the probation in another state. But that`s a whole other ball of wax, of course, Jean.

If the judge does order Casey to serve probation, she would be pretty exposed and possibly even in danger. Do you think that, perhaps, is reason enough for the judge to say, "You know what, time served here"?

CASAREZ: No, not directly. Maybe indirectly, if you read between the lines. But I think that could determine how she serves her probation. Does she have to report to the probation office? Will they come to her at an undisclosed location?

Could it be administrative probation that is actually handled by the courts? I think that would be the issue in regard to the safety.

HAMMER: Well, everybody is still fascinated with this case and very eager to see what is going to happen when the judge finally does make a decision as far as probation is concerned. We, of course, will be following it for you right here on HLN.

But right now, time to move on to even more big news breaking today about the Michael Jackson murder trial and some possible good news for Dr. Conrad Murray, who, of course, is charged in Michael`s death.

I find this absolutely fascinating. Now, this is a completely separate legal battle. Michael Jackson`s former dermatologist is now suing his ex-assistant over stolen money.

And now, the ex-assistant has just filed a response to the suit, making some pretty bombshell claims that accuse Dr. Klein of drugging Michael Jackson.

TMZ actually just obtained the legal documents, and this is what they posted on their Web site today. Dr. Klein provided, quote, "serious" drugs to Michael and that he was asked by Dr. Klein to help Michael down to the car because Michael was too drugged up to stand on his own.

Now, the ex-assistant also says that he voiced concern for Michael`s safety along with some of the nurses in the office because they were worried that Michael was being, quote, "overmedicated."

Mike, I`ve got to imagine that Dr. Murray`s defense team is looking at this and perhaps thanking their lucky stars right now that this other lawsuit has come up. It`s certainly a distraction.

It certainly may take some of the onus off of Dr. Murray. But do you think it could really help Murray get cleared of those involuntary manslaughter charges in the Jackson case?

GALANOS: You know, I think you`re making great points there, A.J., and it can`t hurt. I think that is going to be part of the defense strategy for Dr. Conrad Murray is that other doctors potentially overmedicated, over-drugged.

But you know, A.J., in looking at this story - we`ve been following it for how long? I can`t get past the timeline leading up to Michael Jackson`s death. You know, I dug up some old notes, when you talk about 1:30 in the morning, Valium by Dr. Murray given to Michael Jackson. 2:00 in the morning anti-anxiety drug.

3:00 in the morning, another sedative. 5:00, anti-anxiety drug. 7:30, a sedative. Topped off by propofol at 10:40. I just can`t get past that irresponsibility in that timeline. Yes, maybe Dr. Klein facing some charges may help some, but I think that timeline is a huge hurdle for that defense team.

HAMMER: Yes. And certainly, Dr. Murray and his team - they`re looking for anybody to say, "Hey, don`t just look at me. There are other people involved here."

And this may surprise some people, but it`s among Jackson`s family, a member of Jackson`s family, that is actually saying, "Well, maybe it`s not all about Dr. Murray."

In fact, back in June, Michael`s sister, La Toya told HLN`s Dr. Drew what she thought about the case against Dr. Murray. You`ve got to watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LA TOYA JACKSON, MICHAEL JACKSON`S SISTER: The fact that he was put in position, I truly believe, and no one can change my mind - I know this for a fact. I believe that Dr. Murray was simply the fall guy.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: The fall guy. Jean Casarez, La Toya right there saying Dr. Murray was the fall guy, not simply the only one involved in the death of her brother, Michael. Do you think at all that these new claims today by this ex-assistant to Michael`s dermatologist could actually help to bolster Dr. Conrad Murray`s defense here? Or is it just a completely separate issue?

CASAREZ: I think it`s a big challenge to help Dr. Conrad Murray, and I`ll tell you why. If this was a civil case, yes, it could come in to help him. But this is a criminal case. This is a case that Dr. Conrad Murray is charged with a reckless conduct causing the death of Michael Jackson.

And so with Dr. Arnie Klein - when did this happen? How did this happen? Can you say in any respect that that led to the actual death? And I think that`s a farfetched theory at this point.

And I think that the judge may say that it is not relevant to come in at all, because it is Dr. Conrad Murray on trial, not Dr. Arnie Klein.

HAMMER: Well, it will be interesting to see if it does have even the slightest impact. Of course, the Conrad Murray trial begins on September 8.

HLN will be your only source on this trial. Join me, Mike Galanos and Jean Casarez for all of the coverage right here on HLN. Jean Casarez, Mike Galanos, I really appreciate your input tonight. Thanks so much.

All right. We move on now to big burning "Jersey Shore" questions tonight. The brand new season - it just aired. The premiere was just on, but did the show live up to all of that outrage about Snooki and company heading over to Italy and possibly making a big mess of the place?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

NICOLE "SNOOKI" POLIZZI, REALITY TV STAR, "JERSEY SHORE": And the food was awesome. Like Pizza here - you eat pizza, you feel like such a fat. But when you eat in Italy, you gain like no pounds. It feels like you`re eating healthy.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Fat, huh, Snooki? Also, how about this burning question - what does the "Shore" crew think of the debt ceiling battle? I don`t know about you, I even want to know what they think of the Casey Anthony trial.

George Clooney`s new love drama. Tonight, big news about who George may be dating. But is there already possible trouble in paradise?

And just how well did Jennifer Lopez actually handle her split from Marc Anthony? We`ve got the SHOWBIZ spin doctor right here, coming up next. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

This is the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

TEXT: Heidi Klum denies reports that she`s leaving "Project Runway." "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner on dealing with fame.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TAYLOR LAUTNER, ACTOR: It`s difficult sometimes. It`s extremely important for me to surround myself with people that I love and that mean everything to me. So I keep my family close and my friends close, and they definitely help me stay grounded.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PIERS MORGAN, HOST, "PIERS MORGAN TONIGHT": What are you doing?

KATHY GRIFFIN, COMEDIENNE: I`m going to climb (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

MORGAN: Oh, my god. What`s going on? What are you - oh, my goodness. What is happening here?

GRIFFIN: That`s called a commercial bumper. You`re going to use that all weekend.

MORGAN: Actually, it`s quite enjoyable.

GRIFFIN: Of course, it`s me. Show some respect.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Oh, what do you expect when you have Kathy Griffin on your show, right? And show her respect, Piers. Hey, when the show is live, this is what`s going to happen. Kathy is going to come over and plant a couple right on you as she did with CNN`s Piers Morgan there during his show.

There were plenty of other wild Kathy Griffin moments, some of which I`m not even sure we can tell you about right here, so we`ll move on.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has the big spin on J-Lo`s big breakup revelations. We`re also calling in our resident spin doctor to get his take on how Oprah Winfrey should deal with her Oscar controversy.

You know, some critics are actually fuming over Oprah`s honorary Oscar saying she doesn`t deserve it. So does Oprah need to speak out and defend herself?

Right now, in Hollywood, it`s SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s spin doctor - it`s PR guru, Howard Bragman, founder of Fifteen Minutes Public Relations.

So for the very first time, Howard, we got to hear J-Lo revealing why her seven-year marriage to Anthony is ending in divorce.

Here`s what she tells "Vanity Fair," "Sometimes, we don`t realize that we are compromising ourselves to understand that a person is not good for you or that that person is not treating you in the right way or that he`s not doing the right thing for himself."

"If I stay, then I`m not doing the right thing for me. I love myself enough to walk away from that now." So Howard, I think she`s speaking out in a very candid way that doesn`t make her ex-husband-to-be look so great. Is J-Lo doing the right thing here? Go ahead and spin it within the minute, Howard.

HOWARD BRAGMAN, FOUNDER, FIFTEEN MINUTES PUBLIC RELATIONS: Absolutely, A.J. You know, we talked about this previously. When they announced the divorce, they did it together. They didn`t trash each other.

And I don`t think she trashed him. But what I did think she said was, "He did some things that I wasn`t comfortable with and it`s up to everybody to figure it out." But the whole divorce has played out quietly.

You see things in the tabloids in some of the weekly magazines that say things like he wants her back. He did things that were not good in the relationship. But it`s been very low-key and I think it`s good for their dignity. I think it`s good for the kids.

And the same thing goes to "Idol." You know, clearly, she`s in negotiations for the next season of "American Idol." All the reports are that she`s going to get $20 million, a raise from her $12 million.

But she hasn`t confirmed it and I think they`re playing it in the press very discretely, very well. And I`m proud of them. It`s nice to see them not trash each other, A.J.

HAMMER: I agree with you completely. And for the most part, people seem to think that it`s food for her image. We did ask in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll - "Jennifer Lopez: Is her breakup actually helping her?"

The edge went to the yeses at 55 percent, Howard. So what`s the bottom line for J-Lo?

BRAGMAN: You know, she`s beautiful. She`s talented. I`m seeing J-Lo as the next "Bachelorette," A.J.

HAMMER: I don`t that is actually going to happen. But all right, let`s move on because -

BRAGMAN: She loves reality TV. Come on.

HAMMER: We need to bring you in, our SHOWBIZ spin-doctor, to the Oprah controversy. Apparently, she`s getting this honorary Oscar. You think it would be good news, but some critics are calling it a ratings ploy.

A critic actually questioned why Oprah would be awarded an Oscar for her philanthropy in the movie community since it was greats like Liz Taylor and Charlton Heston who have gotten this award in the past.

We reached out to Oprah. Her rep tells us she`s unavailable to comment. But Howard, how do you think Oprah should spin this? Go ahead and spin it within a minute.

BRAGMAN: Shouldn`t the violins be going like - the sad opera music be going?

HAMMER: Yes.

BRAGMAN: I don`t feel bad for sad Oprah. I think this award, the humanitarian award - there`s almost nobody - she`s a Mother Teresa in the U.S., OK? There`s nobody who is more of a humanitarian than Oprah, and she`s part of the movie community.

She`s certainly in TV and other issues too. But she`s produced movies. She`s got an Academy Award nomination. And the most ironic is when they say it`s a ratings ploy, when she gets her award, it`s not even televised, A.J.

HAMMER: Yes. I don`t understand where that criticism is coming from. And you had 25 seconds to spare. Howard Bragman, PR guru and our resident spin-doctor. Thanks so much, Howard.

BRAGMAN: Thanks, A.J.

HAMMER: Got to move on now because the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines have been ringing nonstop tonight. So many people are calling in about the Kardashians, of course.

Kim Kardashian is planning her wedding. She`s been borrowing some of William and Kate`s royal ideas. We had to ask, are Kardashians American royalty?

We have Julian calling in from North Carolina to say no way.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

JULIAN, CALLER FROM NORTH CAROLINA: Royalty for what? Because their father, who passed away, was a famous lawyer? One of them had a sex tape, then they ran around with basketball players, then they married basketball players? That made them famous?

Royalty? Are you crazy? Royalty for what? They didn`t do anything. They`re famous for nothing.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. There you go. That`s why we ask you to call in, Julian. We appreciate it. You can calls us at "Showbiz on Call" to sound off on this or anything else.

The "Showbiz on Call" phone lines always open, 1-800-SBT-BUZZ; 1-888- 728-2899. That`s where you leave us a voicemail so we can play your call here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

Well, there`s more big Kardashian news tonight. Mama Kardashian, Kris Jenner, has been making explosive headlines this week for a reported sex tape, among other things. She`s already a grandma, thanks to Kourtney.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KRIS JENNER, MOTHER OF THE KARDASHIAN SISTERS: I have been looking forward to giving a baby shower for one of my children for as long as I can remember. Thank you for doing this for me.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: But tonight, Kris is pressuring her other daughters to have more kids. Is Kris crossing the line?

Speaking of crossing lines, Kelly Osbourne`s shocking new star slam. She calls Christina fat. Now, is she dissing Duchess Catherine too? Tonight, we`ve got to ask, what the heck is Kelly thinking here? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Time for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

TEXT: Joe Jonas will join Britney Spears on her European tour. Sarah Michelle Gellar talks about returning to "All My Children."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR, ACTRESS: When I heard that they were canceling it, I was just (UNINTELLIGIBLE). It seems like a rash decision for something that they will ultimately regret.

I called them when I heard it. I told them, you know, I don`t want to come back as Kendall because that`s Alicia`s role and I would never step on that. She`s done amazing things. But I want to mark the time that I spent there.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Tonight, headline-making SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview with Hugh Hefner. The eighty-five-year-old "Playboy" founder is speaking out to us revealing just how he`s doing since being dumped just days before his wedding.

The 25-year-old bride-to-be playmate Crystal Harris bailed out at the last minute. And as Hef tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter, he`s actually not too bummed about his runaway bride. In fact, he thinks everyone is better off. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HUGH HEFNER, FOUNDER, "PLAYBOY": It may not have been done in the right way, but I think it was the right decision. I don`t think - it was very clearly she was not into the relationship in the way she convinced me that she was, and that was the surprise.

And that was the answer to the rest of it. I think that, you know, one doesn`t want to be married to someone who doesn`t want to be married. And I think - what I was trying to do, quite frankly - you know, why was I thinking about getting married?

It was because I loved her and I wanted to give the relationship some continuity. And as I said at the time, you know, I really did it for her. When she had reservations, that was enough for me.

KAREEN WYNTER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT: We`ve all dealt with heartbreak. But with you, you have such a tough exterior that it seems like you bounce back quickly.

HEFNER: I have a remarkable support system.

WYNTER: Of course but -

HEFNER: (UNINTELLIGIBLE) on.

WYNTER: Is there a chance that maybe you and Crystal may reunite in the future?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: What does he say? Could Hef and Crystal actually get back together? Plus, what is Hef`s advice to Kim Kardashian about her wedding? You definitely do not want to miss the rest of our SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview with Hugh Hefner airing on Monday.

Over to Facebook - there has been a whole lot of fists flying over there over the fist-pumping season premiere of "Jersey Shore." Here`s what we asked - will it be the best season ever?

Now, Dee Dee W. says, forget about it, "I kind of hope it`s last season ever. Never watched and, yet, you can`t escape them."

But Cassie M. will be watching, "Ah, what the heck. I have a thing for train wrecks."

And we are answering some big "Jersey Shore" burning questions, coming up. Did the "Shore" premiere live up to all of the outrage that, you know, Snooki and the crew were going to trash Italy?

But Vinny and Pauly D. speak to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT about the debt ceiling battle? Really?

And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT names the most provocative celebrity of the week. The nominees - Kelly Osbourne for calling Christina Aguilera fat; Jennifer Lopez` stunning breakup revelations; Kris Jenner stealing daughter Kim Kardashian`s wedding thunder. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Here comes the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

TEXT: "Grease" actress Annette Charles, who played "Cha Cha," dies at 63. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen`s sister, Elizabeth, opens up about famous family.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ELIZABETH OLSEN, ACTRESS: Just growing up, whole (UNINTELLIGIBLE) from our parents is always to just do what you want to do and not be pushed by other people and continue to work regardless of what people have to say about things and just follow what you`re passionate about.

And I think that`s how my sisters have always been. And that`s why they now (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Big news breaking tonight on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - big burning questions for the "Jersey Shore" crew, a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsmaker interview. So how are Snooki and the gang really surviving the brand-new season in Italy?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

POLIZZI: And the food was awesome. Like Pizza here - you eat pizza, you feel like such a fat. But when you eat in Italy, you gain like no pounds. It feels like you`re eating healthy.

HAMMER: Plus, the new Kardashian baby drama. What`s driving Kim Kardashian`s mom to go baby crazy? She`s already a grandma, thanks to Kourtney.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

K. JENNER: I have been looking forward to giving a baby shower for one of my children for as long as I can remember. Thank you for doing this for me.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That was Kris Jenner going gaga at Kourtney`s baby shower. And tonight, Kris seems to be pressuring her other daughters to have more kids. Is Kris crossing the line here?

George Clooney`s new love drama. Tonight, big news about who George may be dating. But is there already trouble in paradise?

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

And we have big news breaking tonight - "Jersey Shore" burning questions. Yes, the brand-new season of "Jersey Shore" just made its debut last night. Blockbuster ratings for it. The train wreck in Florence was finally revealed. But did the show live up to all of the fired-up outrage?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I love this guy, yes?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, wow. He`s cute.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: He is freaking macho.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes, that`s my type.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Is this the sweater -

POLIZZI: Oh, my god. A Ferris wheel. Oh, my god - Ferris wheel. We`re going on the Ferris wheel. Faster, faster -

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. Ferris wheel. Actually, Snooki, we call that a carousel in these parts. Anyway, maybe in Italy, it`s different. I don`t know.

How did "Jersey Shore" and the crew fare in Italy? Well, we just caught up with the entire cast inside the shore house back in New Jersey. Wait until you see what we`ve got them talking about for the SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview. You`ve never seen anything like this before.

So yes, the numbers are just in. "Jersey Shore" debuted to a record 8.8 million viewers. That is astounding to me.

Now, as we all know, the citizens of Italy, including the mayor of Florence, were outraged, up in arms, that Snooki and the gang were invading their country. But Snooki tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT she loved Italy.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

POLIZZI: Italy was beautiful, actually. The cobblestone wasn`t really nice to our feet and heels when we go to the club. But Italy was beautiful and the food was awesome. Like pizza here - when you eat pizza, you feel like such a fat. But when you eat in Italy, you gain like no pounds. It feels like you`re eating healthy. And we ate a lot of pasta, pizza.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Wine.

POLIZZI: Yes. And we gained nothing. It was phenomenal.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Phenomenal indeed. They ate a lot of wine. Snooki didn`t feel like a fat. Sounds to me like they had a pretty good time. That leads to our first burning "Jersey Shore question" - did "Jersey Shore" Italy live up to the controversy?

Howard Stern reporter for "Howard 100 News" on Sirius XM Satellite Radio, Lisa G. -

LISA GLASBERG, REPORTER, "HOWARD 100 NEWS": Yes.

HAMMER: I know you watched the program last night. Were you pumping your fist in anger and outrage as you were tuned in?

GLASBERG: No. I wanted more fistfights. And only until the last two minutes did you realize the next episode you were going to get that with the fight between Mike "The Situation" and Ronnie.

But other than that, just a little bit. It`s just fun watching Snooki and the Situation. I think Snooki`s turning to pebbles, if you ask me. And I feel like if you watch the show, you should be kicking back with some wine coming out of a box, you know what I mean?

HAMMER: Yes. As long as she doesn`t feel like a fat, we`re all happy for her. But apparently, you don`t think it lived up to all the hype.

GLASBERG: No.

HAMMER: Let me go out to comic and editor of "PopGoesTheWeek.com," Brian Balthazar. Brian, I know you`ve been waiting for this for a long time, so please tell me what you thought. Did it live up to the outrage and all of the hype in your mind?

BRIAN BALTHAZAR, EDITOR, "POPGOESTHEWEEK.COM": Stupid is as stupid does, no matter where you put them. I thought it was the same situation on a different day. I thought, you know what? We`re all getting to know them so well that nothing really surprises us anymore, so I was disappointed.

HAMMER: Well, here`s where it gets really fun. Maybe you won`t be disappointed with this, Brian. I did enjoy watching the gang pontificate about the culture of Italy in last night`s episode. I`m sure you all did as well.

But did they know what was going on back here at home while they were over there filming? That leads to our next SHOWBIZ TONIGHT big burning question for the Jersey Shore gang - what did you think of the debt ceiling crisis, guys? Here`s what Vinny and Pauly D. told us.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PAUL "PAULY D" DELVECCHIO, REALITY TV STAR, "JERSEY SHORE": Man, we`ve got ourselves into some serious debt. I had no idea. I watched Donald Trump`s take on it and he`s like - he`s kind of like ashamed when he said America should never let us get that bad. But Obama is trying to do the right thing. I mean -

VINNY GUADAGNINO, REALITY TV STAR, "JERSEY SHORE": We were in Italy and the euro is so much stronger than the dollar. And we really realized once we traveled abroad - because it doesn`t - when you`re here and you just live here, it doesn`t really affect you that much.

I mean, it does. But when we`re over there, we`re like, oh, my god, like, this other country is so much stronger than ours, America. But -

DELVECCHIO: It`s a big issue.

GUADAGNINO: It`s a big issue, yes.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. Pretty profound words coming there from those guys. Let me bring in SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Andrea Mineo who was right there with the guys inside the "Jersey Shore" house.

First of all, Andrea, God bless you for asking those questions. I really appreciate that you went there with them. And the euro was stronger than the dollar, we just learned. But were you sitting there saying, "These guys have no idea what they`re talking about."

ANDREA MINEO, CORRESPONDENT, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT: I was sitting there saying many things, A.J. And of course, who else would you speak to about the debt crisis but Pauly D and, you know, Vinny from the "Jersey Shore"?

But I will tell you this I feel like they have become business people. They make so much money now. They kind of have to be clued in to the economy. So I wasn`t completely shocked that they seemed to know what they`re talking about.

HAMMER: Yes. Well, that`s true. It`s not like they were completely clueless about it. And I didn`t mean to put you on the spot. You spent time with these guys here. So you know, I don`t want you to say anything terrible about them.

MINEO: Yes. Well -

HAMMER: Lisa G., does the president need to be calling in Vinny and Pauly D to help figure things out?

GLASBERG: It`s not such a bad idea. They`re, you know, regular people from hardworking families. Vinny was going to apply to law school. All right. So they might be not book smart, but they`re street smart.

And they know what is going on. They know what it means to make a buck. They work hard. They do. And you know what? They`re making a lot of money. They`re not so stupid.

HAMMER: They`re making a lot of money, but look how it all happened.

GLASBERG: Yes, but they`re becoming a brand. Snooki is becoming a brand, so is the Situation.

HAMMER: All right. Listen, since the guys knew so much about the current events and debt crisis and all that, naturally, we wanted to ask them another big burning question.

Do they think what happened with Casey Anthony was so terribly wrong? Let`s see what they say about that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DELVECCHIO: I guess she`s hiding out because she wants to be safe and protected or whatever. And then, I don`t know if those pictures were real that came up, that they`d seen her in Ohio or whatever. But I don`t know. That`s -

GUADAGNINO: I thought she was guilty, you know? I mean, everyone does. But that`s the judicial system, you know what I`m saying? Like if you can`t prove something, you know, whatever, like, physically in front of you, then it`s messed up.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Andrea, again you were right there.

MINEO: It`s messed up.

HAMMER: We just heard Lisa G. saying that Vinny was thinking about pursuing his law degree.

GLASBERG: Right.

HAMMER: So sitting there with them, were you thinking pretty much the same thing? I mean I could hear him arguing in front of a court and a judge.

MINEO: Well, let me practice my answer with the fact that we were sitting in the smush-room. So that`s where all of the sex happens.

But I will tell you that Vinny - yes. Vinny did take the LSATs the day the show premiered. The first ever "Jersey Shore" ever on MTV premiered the day he took his LSATs. He told me that, so I believe him.

HAMMER: Yes. And then he said, "Oh, this looks a whole lot easier. A much better way to earn, you know, this kind of money.

GLASBERG: I`m sure that there are a lot of lawyers who are much worse. And you know, thank god he didn`t become a lawyer, so he`s not representing anyone.

HAMMER: Brian Balthazar, does Vinny need to run right out and complete the whole thing of getting his law degree and moving forward with it all?

BALTHAZAR: Yes. I`d say I`ve seen ventriloquist dummies who are a little more articulate than that answer. I`m not so sure Nancy Grace is going to book them for their opinion on this case.

You know what? I admire them for having an opinion and keeping up on world affairs. But I`m not so sure they`re going to be quoted in any magazines for this.

HAMMER: All right. We can`t deny the success of the show. But why is so successful? Well, check out what the Situation, who was seated with Deena, has to say about that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MIKE "THE SITUATION" SORRENTINO, REALITY TV STAR, "THE JERSEY SHORE": People can really relate to us. We`re honest. We`re genuine. Reality television has never seen, like, you know, these bold, you know, characters, you know, named Situation or Snooki.

You know, I kind of compare it to WWE where you get the Rock and you get those bold personalities. You don`t get those - this is the first time reality TV has seen these bold personalities with all these things and it`s turned into a pop culture phenomenon.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes, you know. All right. So you were sitting there, Andrea, with these guys. Did you get their appeal?

MINEO: No comment, but they live their life with no filter on television. Do you understand?

HAMMER: Yes, absolutely.

MINEO: You know, I think that`s what the appeal is. People are watching this.

HAMMER: And there`s something admirable about that, I guess.

MINEO: Yes, young kids having fun.

HAMMER: All right. Well, Lisa G., Andrea Mineo, great having you here as well. And Brian Balthazar, I appreciate you being with us as well.

Tonight, we`ve got to move on now. Kris Jenner, the tiger mom. Why is Kim Kardashian`s mom pushing to become a grandmother again? That`s hard to believe.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

K. JENNER: I have been looking forward to giving a baby shower for one of my children for as long as I can remember. Thank you for doing this for me.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That was Kris at her daughter Kourtney`s baby shower. And now, it seems she may be pressuring her other daughters to have babies. Is Kris crossing the line here?

And Kelly Osbourne launching a star slam fest, calling Christina Aguilera fat. And it seems that she may be taking on Duchess Catherine. What the heck is going on here? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Time for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Yes. Did you see this? That`s rapper Nicki Minaj. She had a little wardrobe malfunction during her live performance on "Good Morning America" today. Oops! And it happened again and again.

This thing went on for more than two minutes. I guess that wouldn`t be covered by a seven-second delay. ABC is apologizing. The network says it did take the naughty stuff out of later feeds.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. And tonight, new revelations about Amy Winehouse`s final recording.

Also, George Clooney`s new romance. Is George already off the market just weeks after his big breakup? And does she ever let up?

Kim Kardashian`s mom is pressuring her daughters again. Apparently, she wants them to make more Kardashians. All of that is making big news in "The Buzz Today."

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Amy`s last record. Tony Bennett has just revealed new details about the duet he and Amy Winehouse recorded just before Amy died.

The brand-new song called "Body and Soul" is the very last recording from Amy and Bennett had planned to release it later this year. But now, Tony is turning it in to a tribute, releasing it early and donating the proceeds to help others who suffer from drug addiction just like Amy.

In a new interview on the "Today" show, Bennett unveiled the details.

TONY BENNETT, SINGER: But what`s going to happen is that we`re putting it ahead of the album. And there`s going to be a foundation that her father started to teach all the young children not to take drugs. And all of the royalties of the record will go to that.

Clooney`s romance revelations? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you George Clooney may have moved off of the market again. He reportedly has been hanging out with WWE diva and ex "Dancing with the Stars" contestant, Stacy Keibler.

"Us Magazine" reports Keibler flew to Italy to be with George in his villa in Lake Como, and Stacy did have some mysterious tweets about a trip to Italy, "From heaven to Rome, I`m the luckiest girl in the world and I`m in love with Italy, every single part of it."

Kardashian baby desperation. Kardashian mom Kris Jenner has just put major pressure on her daughters to produce more grandkids.

In a brand-new interview with "Us Magazine," Jenner reveals that she desperately wants more babies in her life. Kris tell us, "I would love more grandchildren. Kourtney Kardashian`s son, Mason, is the love of our lives and he is so much fun, but there` only one Mason to go around. It would be nice if we had some more."

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Yes, is it just me, or is Kris Jenner always looking for more, well, everything? With me in New York, on-air reporter for Howard Stern`s "Howard 100 News," Lisa G. Also, radio and TV host, Michael Billy.

So Kris Jenner is the mother of six and grandmother to Kourtney Kardashian`s son, Mason. But now, in a brand-new interview just out, Kris is saying today that one grandchild, simply not enough.

Again, here`s what she`s telling "Us Weekly," "I would love more grandchildren. Mason is the love of our lives, and he is so much fun, but there`s only one Mason to go around. It would be nice if we had some more." Hint, hint.

Kris already catching an awful lot of heat for being overly involved in her kids` lives. Lisa G., let me start with you. Is this grandmotherly love and we should let it go? Or should Kris keep quiet?

GLASBERG: No. She`s thinking second generation making even more money.

HAMMER: That`s it, isn`t it?

GLASBERG: I mean, what doesn`t she want those kids to do? She`s made them a fortune. So now, all of a sudden, she`s thinking - oh, grandkids, even more money. And look, she got married young. She had a lot of kids. She wants more kids around. I think it`s as simple as that.

HAMMER: All right. Listen, no doubt that Kris is one baby-crazy lady, right? I want you to take a look at one example from "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" that reveals that. Please roll.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

K. JENNER: Kourtney`s doctor is the same doctor that delivered Kourtney, is delivering my first grandchild. This is, like, such a great day. Thank you. Is this a diaper?

I have been looking forward to giving a baby shower for one of my children for as long as I can remember.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Now, I don`t want to take away from it being sweet that she has this love for her children and wants grandchildren. I don`t know. Maybe it`s not about the Benjamins here.

But Kourtney Kardashian has her young child. Khloe has been open about her struggles to get pregnant. Kim`s not even married yet. Michael, do you think the Kardashian sisters at this point kind of need to band together and maybe quiet mom down from all this baby-begging that seems to be going on here?

MICHAEL BILLY, TV AND RADIO HOST: If I were one of the Kardashians, I would listen to everything that Kris is saying. I mean, Kris made those kids, literally and figuratively, OK? There`s spin-offs in order. There could be grandkid shows, little Kardashians. I`d love it.

HAMMER: But you don`t want to have kids for the reason of commercial success, do you?

BILLY: You don`t?

GLASBERG: It`s Hollywood. She does. I mean, the kids do tell her to shut up every episode.

BILLY: This is also true.

GLASBERG: And I sit there and cringe that they even talk to her like that. But she`s making them a lot of money.

HAMMER: And really earning their respect. Shut up, mom. Shut up.

GLASBERG: That`s not happening.

HAMMER: All right. Let`s move on to another story that`s got big buzz today. We`re talking about George Clooney`s love drama. Now, Clooney just coming out of a two-year romance.

Already, there are new reports that link him to former pro-wrestler "Dancing with the Stars" contestant, Stacy Keibler. Now, Keibler has been vacationing in Europe for the past month.

According to "Us Weekly," she`s been spending time with George. Here`s where the controversy comes in. Stacy has been tweeting. They`ve been pretty cryptic tweets, but they seem to be related to a possible Clooney love connection.

On July 8, Stacy tweeted, "I`m the luckiest girl in the world." A few days later, she tweeted, "You can`t believe anything you read and only half what you see."

Look, I have no idea if there`s actually a love connection going on here. But George Clooney is notoriously protective of his private life.

So Lisa G., I`m thinking that if there really is something going on here and George and Stacy are together, she`d better stop this right now and keep quiet. Don`t tweet. Don`t talk about it if she wants to keep George around.

GLASBERG: Oh, he definitely put his foot down. I read the first tweet, and she goes, "Oh, I`m in heaven." And I remember thinking, "Uh-oh. There`s going to be a problem."

HAMMER: Yes.

GLASBERG: It sounded like they slept together. She`s over the moon - George Clooney, the most handsome guy in the world. And then, the next tweet, you read, "Oh, we`re out picnicking with 19 other people." So it sounded like he got upset.

HAMMER: Yes. And we don`t know for sure if they`re actually together or not. But Lisa G., Michael Billy, I thank you for your take on all this.

Got to run, because coming up next, Kelly Osbourne taking on the Duchess of Cambridge? Wait until you hear why Kelly is blasting Duchess Catherine in some people`s minds.

And get this - Kelly is also slamming Christina Aguilera for her weight calling her fat. Kelly, what`s going on with the slam fest here? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

TEXT: And this is the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

TEXT: Roseanne Barr says she will run for president in 2012. SHOWBIZ first look: Anne Hathaway as "Selina Kyle"/"Cat Woman."

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Tonight, Kelly Osbourne slam fest. Kelly O`s got a beef with more than just Christina Aguilera. But is she really slamming royalty?

Joining me in New York, Erica America, who is an on-air personality for Z-100 New York and a psychotherapist.

So Kelly`s tirade started this week on an episode of E`s "Fashion Police." She`s slamming Christina Aguilera for wearing a tight black dress.

Here`s what she`s saying, "Maybe she`s becoming the fat (EXPLETIVE DELETED) she was born to be. I don`t know. She`s a (EXPLETIVE DELETED) to me! She called me fat for some (EXPLETIVE DELETED) years."

Fighting words, Erica. But listen, classlessness aside here, if Christina is really guilty of throwing out some nasty words to begin with, does Kelly have every right to be attacking her like this?

ERICA AMERICA, ON-AIR PERSONALITY FOR Z-100 NEW YORK AND PSYCHOTHERAPIST: You know, I love Kelly Osbourne. I love how she looks, how she`s been feeling lately. She`s got this whole new platform on the "Fashion Police."

But the bottom line is, even if we don`t know the fully back story and Christina really did say all those horrible things, you know, someone who has had their weight knocked before, you shouldn`t do it to someone else. It`s below the belt for sure.

HAMMER: Yes. I agree with you. She should be taking the high road here. All right. Well, Kelly is also catching some heat for seemingly slamming Kate Middleton after Kate`s recycled outfits.

Listen to what Kelly said about that, "If I`m going to be the future bloody Queen of England, I`m going to wear that dress once."

Kelly later tweeted, "I didn`t talk (EXPLETIVE DELETED) about Kate Middleton. Why am I an (EXPLETIVE DELETED) because I think she deserves a new dress every day?"

All right. I actually think she kind of cleared that up, but you don`t want to mess with royalty no matter how big a celebrity you are.

AMERICA: Kate Middleton is doing the best she can in an unimaginable job. I mean, A.J., can you imagine being, you know, crucified every time you wear the same belt? I mean, that would be insane.

HAMMER: Wow.

AMERICA: So she`s doing the best she can, but -

HAMMER: I`m not the future King of England, so I don`t know. But I hear what you`re saying and I appreciate you being here, Erica. Thank you so much.

You need to stay right there because SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is naming Kelly a nominee for the most provocative celebrity of the week. Can she beat out J-Lo nominated for her revealing "Vanity Fair" interview after splitting with Marc Anthony?

Or will we name Kris Jenner for stealing the sunshine from Kim on her big wedding day? That`s coming up.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: It is that time of the week, time for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT to name the most provocative celebrity of the week. I`ve got to tell you it was a close call.

Will it be Kelly Osbourne? Some people are saying she was trash- talking the Duchess of Cambridge and she did trash-talk Christina Aguilera.

What about Jennifer Lopez who appears to be using her split from Marc Anthony to boost her own image? Or Kim Kardashian`s mom, Kris Jenner, for stealing the thunder from her daughter before her big wedding? Who got the nod? Drum roll -

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT names Kris Jenner as most provocative celebrity of the week for being such a huge spotlight hog.

Well, thank you for watching. That`s it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer. Remember, you can catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusively Monday through Friday at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific here on HLN.

Next on "DR. DREW," polygamous leader, Warren Jeffs, found guilty of sexual assault of underage girls. He will now be behind bars. But will anything really change for the women and children of his former cult?
