Hello, I`m Carlos Diaz, in for A.J. Hammer with big news breaking tonight - what a wedding!

We knew that Kim Kardashian`s wedding was going to be a star-studded and big event. But today we learned just how big and how star-studded it`s going to be and it is mind-boggling.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT now brings you brand-new secrets just revealed. The guest list for Kim`s wedding started leaking out today. And while this may not be an official royal wedding, we can tell you that it will be a wedding filled with Hollywood royalty.

We also learned today remarkable new details about how much Kim Kardashian`s wedding will cost. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can now reveal that this may not only wind up being the most expensive celebrity wedding ever but also the most profitable one.

And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT brings you brand-new revelations breaking today about how the wedding, which will happen on August 20th, will compare to other outrageous celebrity weddings.

With me tonight from New York is TV and radio host Michael Billy. Also with me tonight from Hollywood is Maggie Furlong, who is west coast editor of AOL TV.

All right. It has been fast and furious day of breaking wedding developments. So let`s first go to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter who has been tracking it all down in Hollywood in our newsroom. Kareen, what did we learn today about the guest list?

KAREEN WYNTER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT: Hey, there, Carlos. Well, the names are finally - finally starting to trickle out. And when Kim walks down the aisle to exchange vows with NBA star Kris Humphries one week - that`s right - one week from this coming Saturday, get a load of some of the big names who will be watching it.

"Radar Online" reported today that some of Hollywood`s biggest A- listers are going to be at Kim`s huge event. Check this out. J-Lo - that`s right - Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber. Hey, Carlos, wouldn`t you just love to see them dance together?

Will and Jada Smith, Kanye West, Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce have all gotten the huge invites. And Carlos, I`ll be there for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`ll be covering it all.

DIAZ: All right, Kareen. I can`t wait for this. Out to you, Michael Billy. Call me cynical, but I`m thinking that maybe Kim is packing the invite sheet with A-listers to not only help hype her wedding, but to make for quite a show when it all airs on a TV special. Or is Kim really best buds with J-Lo and the Biebs?

MICHAEL BILLY, TV AND RADIO HOST: You think so, Carlos. I think you`re right on the right path here. So the way I`d do it is I`d just have famous friends on Facebook. That`s how I impress people.

DIAZ: OK. I got you.

BILLY: I certainly wouldn`t invite them to my wedding. My goodness. And Justin Bieber - are there even kids allowed at this wedding? He`s 16, is he not?

DIAZ: He`s 17. He`s 17. Get it right, all right?

BILLY: Excuse me. I`m sorry.

DIAZ: Maggie Furlong, kids` table aside, what do you think?

MAGGIE FURLONG, WEST COAST EDITOR, AOL TV: You know, there`s a lot of pressure on this wedding to be this huge. They`ve built it up. We`ve been talking about it forever. And now, it`s going to be a four-hour special on E! So what better way to fill four hours than - hope and fingers crossed - Beyonce and Jay-Z showing up.

That`s how she`s going to make more money. That`s how she`s going to get even more sponsors. You get a big name on that guest list and another sponsor is going to cash in.

DIAZ: All right. I love the Kardashians. I think they`re great. But I have to say they have never been shy about using their most intimate moments in their lives to help build their huge commercial empire.

Kareen, this has got to be the biggest production so far. There are brand-new details tonight about the Kardashians cashing in. And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter has also been tracking that tonight in Hollywood. Kareen, what you have learned?

WYNTER: Well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT here to reveal that Kim Kardashian`s may not be the biggest celebrity wedding ever, but also the most profitable celebrity wedding ever.

Kim has landed - and you`ve got to see these numbers - a reported $5 million just from product placement. She`s just launched a new $100-scent to commemorate her wedding. And the brand-new Kardashian collection at Sears is going on presale.

Yes, you guessed it - right before the wedding. Plus, the wedding itself is going to be a two-hour special on E! in October. And Carlos, I can bet you that Kim - no, she`s not doing any of this for free. She wants the money.

DIAZ: Yes, I wouldn`t take that bet because I`d lose. You`re right. Back to Michael Billy. Does it take anything away from the wedding that it`s turning into a giant Kardashian commercial? Whatever happened to good old- fashioned romance? Michael, help me out.

BILLY: Yes, I agree with you. On a serious note, I`m telling you, this is a bad sign for me. I wish them all the luck in the world. But publicizing your wedding like this and making it so commercial - I mean, that to me are signs that this might not be the best idea for the sanctity of the couple.

DIAZ: Sanctity? Well, you know the old expression, "You`ve got to spend money to make money." And the Kardashians are definitely doing that. I can tell you Kim`s wedding is going to cost a reported $20 million to pull off.

It`s such an epic event. People are actually calling it the "royal wedding 2.0." Kareen, how does Kim`s wedding compare to other outrageous celebrity weddings?

WYNTER: Carlos, get this. It could blow them all out of the water. According to "W" magazine, Liza Minelli and David Gest spent $3.5 million on their nuptials. Elizabeth Hurley and business tycoon, Arun Nayar, put out $2.5 million to tie the knot.

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, a reported $2 million. And Carlos, Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, reportedly forked over a measly $1 million by comparison for their wedding. Huge numbers.

DIAZ: That`s pocket change. That`s pocket change for Donald Trump. Thanks, Kareen. Thanks so much. And that lead to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - could such an outrageously expensive wedding trigger a big Kim backlash? Maggie, I said "backlash." What do you think?

FURLONG: I definitely think that people love anything Kardashian, you know. They`ve got eight million shows on TV now and we continue to watch them every single week.

I don`t think there`s going to be a huge amount of backlash. But like everyone else on the panel, it does concern me about their actual relationship.

You know, you look at these lists of these huge celebrity weddings. How many of them are still married that we got to see on TV? Not very many. And I`m sorry, but if Donald Trump only needs to spend $1 million, 20 is ridiculous.

DIAZ: Yes. Michael, are we kind of seeing this as more of a plot line to the reality show rather than, like - I don`t know - a buildup to a wedding?

BILLY: Exactly. This may as well be the "Jersey Shore" as far as I`m concerned. I`m sorry. I don`t care how much money you spend. $20 million doesn`t make it classy when you`re doing it on television.

DIAZ: Yes. Well, one big celebrity star who is not on Kim`s star-studded wedding is Hugh Hefner. He`s dealing with the fallout from his runaway bride and his own massive wedding that was called off just five days before the ceremony was set to take place.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT talked with Hef about Kim`s wedding. And you`ve got to listen to the advice he has for her.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HUGH HEFNER, FOUNDER, "PLAYBOY": Well, I think, quite frankly, that is not exactly the best way to get married. I`ve been watching "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette." And the notion of falling in love on television, you know, is not the best way to do it.

But you know, when you`re doing a reality show and if you`re going to be getting married, I mean, it`s logical to include the marriage. And indeed, if I had gotten there, that would have been a TV special.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

DIAZ: All right, Maggie. Should Kim take Hef`s advice to heart?

FURLONG: Everyone should take all of Hef`s advice, let`s be honest. I do think he has a good point, you know. His show actually did get cancelled because his wedding got cancelled, but he was going to have it televised.

It just sort of should make Kim pause a little bit that they are so willing to televise every last detail of their lives. I know the Kardashians are all about being open and sharing with the American public, but sometimes this far is a little too far.

DIAZ: All right. Kareen, Michael, Maggie, thanks, guys, so much. Moving on tonight to the startling secret about the kiss heard around the world between the Situation and Snooki on the "Jersey Shore."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

REGIS PHILBIN, CO-HOST, "LIVE WITH REGIS AND KELLY": Suddenly, like, the Situation was all over Snoozy.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: (UNINTELLIGIBLE). Snoozy.

PHILBIN: But why? Why did the Situation make a move on her after all these years? You`ve been together four years.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

DIAZ: Yes, Reg. Why did these two hook up after all this time? Or is it all an act? Either way, would someone please get these guys some Purell, please, something?

A Jennifer Aniston-Brad Pitt shocker. Tonight, dramatic new claims about what led Brad to leave Jen for Angelina Jolie.

And explosive reports that there`s an "American Idol" money war brewing. Does Steven Tyler deserve a big raise like J-Lo got, or should he just dream on? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

DIAZ: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Carlos Diaz, in for A.J. Hammer. Tonight, more of our fascinating SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview with Hugh Hefner.

Too sexy for TV? There`s a big controversy tonight over a new NBC show set to premiere next month. It`s called "The Playboy Club" and it`s all about the "Playboy" bunnies who worked at Hef`s famous Chicago Club back in the `60s.

Some critics say there`s so much skin that it`s too sexy for TV. But Hef says, nonsense. Playboy is perfect for primetime. Here`s CNN`s Kareen Wynter for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

HEFNER: Recapturing some sense of that retromatic(ph) connection from the early `60s. It`s wonderful.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Good evening, Mr. Hilton(ph).

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: How are you?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It wasn`t the `50s anymore.

WYNTER (on camera): How did you get involved in this project?

HEFNER: NBC came to us. I think they were looking for their programming, some things that would be immediately identifiable, something that people would be interested in tuning in and can`t do much better than a Playboy bunny.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You`re going to be in big trouble if he catches any one of us.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I just can`t help it. I mean, she`s just so beautiful and perfect up there.

WYNTER: They say sex sells, but is this going to be too racy for TV?

HEFNER: No. As a matter of fact, I think some sensitive groups have tried to create that illusion. But of course, that`s nonsense.

I mean, it is about what essentially was a rather conservative time in the early `60s that then led in turn to the sexual revolution that maybe arrived in the latter `60s. And the bunnies were then and are now iconic. They became celebrities in their on right immediately.

WYNTER: The Parents Television Council, boy, have they sounded off about this. Why do you think people are so incensed when it comes to this show?

HEFNER: It isn`t people. It`s a little group with a loud voice. It is simply a sensitive group that their problem is obvious. Their problem is simply the name "Playboy." It doesn`t matter what it`s all about. When it`s Playboy, it`s a good way to get publicity, and that`s what it`s all about.

WYNTER: So right is saying, basically likening this to pornography. And the left is saying this is downright degrading when it comes to women.

HEFNER: Yes.

WYNTER: What do you say?

HEFNER: Well, I think that what is most interesting about that is, why don`t you talk to the women themselves? Why don`t you talk to the original bunnies who worked at the Playboy Club and see whether they felt exploited or whether they felt empowered, because I know the answer to that.

The women who worked in the Playboy Clubs went on to become - Lauren Hutton became a major supermodel. Debbie Harry became a part of the Blondie rock group. In the job itself, they earned more money than, in many instances, what is their fathers and husbands were earning.

It was a real breakthrough at a time back then when, you know, women really were second class citizens. It is fascinating how really, you know, iconic it has become. And of course, in the intervening years, we did a television show called "The Girls Next Door."

WYNTER: I remember that. Yes.

HEFNER: It became a global phenomenon, and the major audience for that show was women. Over 70 percent of the audience was female. The foremost part of it all is to produce a good, entertaining show.

But I think, in the process, it will change some minds as well, as "The Girls Next Door" did. In other words, a lot of people who have censorship on their minds don`t know what they`re censoring.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

DIAZ: That was CNN`s Kareen Wynter for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. "The Playboy Club" debuts on NBC September 19th. The "Showbiz on Call" phone lines have been getting a lot of play about the controversy over the "Playboy Club." Julie from Louisiana thinks everyone should just chill until we actually see the show.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

JULIE, CALLER FROM LOUISIANA: I think it ridiculous about the comments that are being made before the airing of the show. I lived - I was raised in New Orleans, and my brother took me one time in the `70s.

And they had opened a Playboy Club down there and everybody down there called it "crystal palace." And I was embarrassed to go because I wasn`t that old. I mean, I was old enough to get in but being the Playboy Club, knowing what "Playboy" magazine was about.

And I went in and it was the classiest place I had ever been in and still, to this day, have ever been in, in my life. And I have to say kudos to Hugh. You know, do what you`ve got to do. I`ll watch.

DIAZ: Thank you, Julie. You can call us at "Showbiz on Call" and let us know what you think or any other topic that`s on your mind.

The "Showbiz on Call" phone lines are always open. Give us a call at 1-888-SBT-BUZZ. That`s 1-888-728-2899. Leave us a voicemail and we`ll play some of your calls right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

All right. Moving on tonight to the big debate over the news of a "Dirty Dancing" remake.

(MUSIC)

I can tell you that there`s a lot of talk out there about a "Dancing" redo. But we will have a big comment about the time of our lives coming up. Will Baby be put in the corner one more time? Or should people just leave this movie alone?

And a new war over Sarah Palin after Levi Johnston`s sister poses for "Playboy" and tells all. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: In three short years, you`ve done more than most toddlers do in a lifetime.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: There`s dolls that look like me and books that have my pictures in there.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You can retire from pageants, but you cannot retire from our heart.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

DIAZ: That`s the bizarre goodbye to six-year-old Eden Wood. The "Toddlers and Tiaras" star is hanging up her tiara. She`s quitting the pageant world and going Hollywood.

All right. This whole thing can be seen to some as being creepy. I actually dig this TLC show which takes you inside the weird and sometimes disturbing world of little girls fiercely competing at beauty pageants.

Right now, in Los Angeles, I`m joined by Rachel Zalis, contributing editor over at "Life and Style Weekly."

Rachel, I watch this Eden Wood farewell, all right? It`s almost two minutes long, and I`ve got to tell you, I don`t know. Is it funny or is it did demented or should I be watching? What do you think?

RACHEL ZALIS, CONTRIBUTING EDITOR, "LIFE AND STYLE WEEKLY": Listen, I`m not the biggest fan of the show but I think that clip, that sendoff was one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

I mean, Carlos, isn`t it really hard being a star? Can`t you relate? I mean, I just think it was - the whole thing, I want to learn the "Cutie Patootie" dance.

DIAZ: Yes.

ZALIS: And I think that sendoff maybe rivaled Oprah`s. And I think the network was showing that they`re in on the joke a little. It was very (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

DIAZ: Yes. And I think these little girls are like so full of just vigor on the show. They`re always right at their moms. And Eden`s already won 300 titles. She even has her own action figure.

Eden`s mom compares her to Oprah Winfrey - really - who entered beauty pageants when she was young. But hello, Oprah was 18 when she won Miss Black Tennessee.

Shouldn`t Eden and all these young girls be playing with Barbie dolls rather than being a Barbie doll? Are we over thinking this?

ZALIS: I totally agree. I mean, they are just way too young to be obsessed with waxing and shaving and coloring. I mean, they are spray- tanning more than Snooki. Maybe they`re hopeful to be the next class of "Jersey Shore" or something.

And these mothers are clearly living vicariously through their children. It just seems like - this is wrong. It`s seems so wrong.

DIAZ: Yes. They shouldn`t worry about waxing and spray tans until you become the host of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

ZALIS: But the tiaras - you`ve got to love the big tiara, right?

DIAZ: Yes. Thank you, Rachel. I really appreciate that. OK. Moving on now, right now, to the SHOWBIZ lineup - here`s what`s coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m Carlos Diaz, in for A.J. Hammer with big news breaking tonight - shocking, and I mean shocking new revelations about perhaps the biggest Hollywood breakup ever - Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt.

Someone who watched the whole thing go down claimed today that it was Aniston who gave Pitt the boot. In a brand-new book, the producer of the movie "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" claims Aniston kicked Brad Pitt to the curb after she learned that Pitt had fallen in love with co-star, Angelina Jolie.

And speaking of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," the book contains another bombshell. It was almost another Oscar-winning actress, Nicole Kidman, and not Jolie, who was going to star opposite Pitt in the movie. Oh, what might have been.

In New York, we have TV and radio host, Michael Billy. And AOL TV`s west coast editor, Maggie Furlong is joining us in Hollywood.

All right. In that new book, "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" producer, Arnon Milchan, claims Aniston had her suspicions about Brad Pitt and Jolie during filming. But Pitt denied everything until he finally came clean.

Milchan says, quote, "Brad eventually admitted he was in love with Angelina. Jen was furious and threw him out." Maggie, after all these years of hearing that Pitt packed up and left Aniston, does it shock you to learn that it may have been Aniston who said, "Hit the road, Brad"?

FURLONG: It`s totally shocking, because all these years, she`s been the victim. She still is the victim because he still did fall in love with another woman. But if it was her choice to kick him to the curb, go, Jen. All of a sudden, she`s the empowered victim.

DIAZ: All right. Well, Michael, if it is true that Aniston kicked out Pitt, does that make you like her a little more? And apparently, she didn`t play the victim. She stood up for herself and said, "I`m not putting up with this."

BILLY: My mother and I couldn`t like Jennifer Aniston more than we already do. We haven`t seen an Angelina Jolie movie since the breakup, OK? That`s what big of a fan we are.

If anything, this makes Jen look stronger. You`re right. She`s always been seen as the victim. So for people who are Jen Aniston fans, this is great. And hopefully, it will strengthen the relationship that she has and the future that she has with Theroux.

DIAZ: OK. You haven`t seen an Angelina Jolie movie since "The Breakup" the movie or the breakup the breakup?

BILLY: Since their breakup the breakup.

DIAZ: OK. Here`s another tidbit from the book revealed today. It seems that Angelina Jolie had replaced the original Mrs. Smith, Nicole Kidman, because it turned out that Kidman had zero chemistry with Pitt.

Think about it. Hollywood`s most scandalous on-set hookup almost did not happen. Imagine what the world would have looked like if Kidman and not Jolie had co-starred with Pitt.

For one, millions of gossip magazines would have gone unsold from the lack of six years of Pitt-Aniston breakup stories. Also, with no Pitt- Jolie coupling, tons of kids may have gone un-adopted.

And finally, Aniston probably wouldn`t have decided to star in that movie, "The Breakup." Of course, I do think that Brangelina is not anything close to picnic. Now, if Pitt and Kidman had any on-screen chemistry and they starred in "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," would Pitt and Aniston still be together today? Michael, I`ll put that to you.

BILLY: Man. Hopefully I would say that Jen`s strength would come through. And Brad - once a dog, always a dog. If he was going to stray, he was going to stay regardless of Angelina.

DIAZ: Wow, you are killing Brad Pitt! All right. Let`s move to another story breaking tonight, the Palin and Johnston family feud. All right. I`ve got to move on to another big story breaking tonight - the Palin versus Johnston family feud.

Mercede Johnston is the sister of Bristol Palin`s baby daddy, Levi Johnston. And now, she is taking it all off and going off on the Palins.

Mercede is posing nude for "Playboy," and in an interview, she bashes Sarah Palin. And she calls Bristol "promiscuous" and claims that Bristol was actually trying to get pregnant with Levi`s baby.

Whoa. That doesn`t seem to jibe with what Bristol told HLN`s Dr. Drew while promoting her memoir last month. She said she got pregnant because of ineffective birth control.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BRISTOL PALIN, FMR. GOV. SARAH PALIN`S DAUGHTER: Yes. I was on birth control and I got pregnant. And I had stopped taking that for, like, three or four days. And then -

DR. DREW PINSKY, HOST, "DR. DREW": You left that out of the book.

B. PALIN: No, that`s in the book.

PINSKY: I didn`t see that.

B. PALIN: That`s in the book. It really is in the book.

PINSKY: Because if you miss a pill, you`re not taking the pill the way you`re supposed to.

B. PALIN: Yes. I wasn`t used effectively. But I was on birth control and it wasn`t used effectively at all.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

DIAZ: Just when you think this Palin-Johnston family feud can`t get any more tawdry, you`ve got these shocking claims made in "Playboy" magazine right next to a nude photo spread, of course. Maggie, is this a new low?

FURLONG: It really is. I mean, I`m sorry. First of all, Bristol Palin, get with it. Honestly - honestly, you forgot a couple pills? It was ineffective? You have to take the pill if you don`t want to get pregnant.

So maybe these claims are, in fact, farfetched. I`m not really sure. But I definitely think that Johnston clan really has sunk to a new low, calling her a sociopath, throwing her under the bus for all these other things, claiming that her brother has a drug problem.

It really is an odd place to do it as well, in "Playboy" magazine. Why is that the place you go to air your dirty laundry? I don`t know.

DIAZ: Well, yes. It sounds like you`re on neither person`s side. I dig that. Now, we know the Palins have a habit to responding harshly to claims and insults from the Johnston family. But I think this time, Bristol is better off just ignoring Mercede`s "Playboy" diss. Michael, what do you think?

BILLY: I think so. Absolutely. Just look in the context. How are you going to pose nude and call somebody "promiscuous," when nudity is like your family business?

Levi did the nudity thing, too. I mean, stop pointing fingers. This is too much too late. I think this is another girl who is trying to get her 15 minutes in the spotlight. Call them as I see them.

DIAZ: All right. Now, we move on to what may be the single biggest, most shocking, most controversial story of the day. Today, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT officially got word that Hollywood is remaking "Dirty Dancing," one of the most beloved movies of all time.

The 1987 movie starring Jennifer Gray as Baby who falls for her dance instructor, played by the late Patrick Swayze. And on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook page, people were unanimous in their hatred of this idea.

Cody M. writes, quote, "I think I just threw up in my mouth a lot - a whole lot."

And Crystal M. writes, quote, "A classic should never be remade. What`s next, `Grease`?" Oh, bite your tongue. Maggie, are you as up in arms about this as everyone else seems to be?

FURLONG: I am. I really am so upset about this. I can`t even really put it into words. Even just watching the "Footloose" trailer for this new remake of "Footloose," it sort of brings tears to my eyes. It`s so painful. It`s this shot-for-shot remake.

And to me, "Dirty Dancing" is even more beloved. To remake that, how are they going to do it? Will it be set in the `60s? Will it be set in the `80s? Are they going to try to do a present day?

They can put any twist on it they want and nobody puts Baby in the corner again. I say leave well enough alone. Don`t touch the classic.

DIAZ: All right. I do want to point out, by the way. It`s in the `60s, but he has a mullet. I mean, I love Patrick Swayze, but he`s wearing a mullet in the movie. I know it`s a little D.A. mullet, but still - Michael, what do you think?

BILLY: I say give it a chance. Look, when they make new movies, they don`t throw the old ones out. We`ll always have the classics.

But look, Jennifer Gray got the nose job. Patrick Swayze has passed. They`re not coming back. This is an opportunity. Kenny Ortega - really interesting choice as a director. Let`s see where he takes. Is it going to be camp? Or is it going to have the same grit that it did last time?

DIAZ: I`ve got to agree with Maggie on this. Just leave it alone. Just leave it alone.

BILLY: Carlos, give it a chance. Give it a chance.

DIAZ: Michael, Maggie, I love you guys. Thank you so much. All right. Secrets from the shore. Who wouldn`t want to fall in love with the Florence? But Snooki and the Situation? Come on. Tonight, Jwoww reveals new details about their jaw-dropping kiss.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PHILBIN: Suddenly, like the Situation was all over Snoozy.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: (UNINTELLIGIBLE). Snoozy.

PHILBIN: But why? Why did the Situation make a move on her after all these years? You`ve been together four years.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

DIAZ: They`ve both got long, luscious locks and lots to say, but do Steven Tyler and Jennifer Aniston deserve the same pay?

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Carlos Diaz, in for A.J. Hammer. That doesn`t rhyme.

Tonight, "Idol" money madness. Brand-new reports today that Steven Tyler is fuming over word that his fellow "Idol" judge, Jennifer Lopez is up for a rock star raise.

Now, J-Lo was reportedly ready to lock in a $20 million paycheck to rejoin "Idol" this season. That will be an $8 million increase over last season, and that brings us to today`s SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, does Steven Tyler also deserve a big raise?

Joining me from Hollywood is Rachel Zalis, contributing editor of "Life and Style Weekly. And in New York, we`ve got Vinnie Penn, host of "The Vinnie Penn Project" on WELI, 960 AM.

So you`ve seen the headlines. J-Lo has reportedly negotiated herself a whopping $20 million deal. But Rachel, to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, does that mean Steven Tyler should expect or even demand the same?

ZALIS: Listen, I love Steven Tyler, but J-Lo is the star of that show. I mean, did you see the finale? Her booty shaking alone was worth $20 million.

And I think if Steven Tyler asks for too much money, they`re going to say, "Walk this way right out the door." He is replaceable. She`s not. Sorry.

DIAZ: Wow. OK. That`s a lot of fun there. I like that. If we`re looking at the numbers - listen to this. Let`s do the numbers, all right?

J-Lo has two Grammy nominations and zero wins. Steven Tyler, 17 nominations and he has four trophies at home. Vinnie, my man -

VINNIE PENN, HOST, "THE VINNIE PENN PROJECT" ON WELI 90 AM: Come on.

DIAZ: When it comes to music, some might say Steven Tyler deserves a lot more than J-Lo. What say you?

PENN: Absolutely. I mean, he`s the show saver. I don`t even know why they went with Ashton Kutcher over at "Two and a Half Men." Tyler could save that show.

That`s my take. I mean, J-Lo is in the negligible role. She`s been in the role that went from Paula to the songwriter to Ellen DeGeneres. This is the Simon role.

DIAZ: Wow. So you`re saying that Steven Tyler basically saved the show? That`s what you`re saying?

PENN: Absolutely. And I`m a diehard Aerosmith fan. O I`ve got sheet music. I have "Dream On" tattooed on my arm, which might cancel out how I feel about this.

DIAZ: I love - I dig the full disclosure, by the way.

ZALIS: No way. Wrong.

DIAZ: Rachel - hold on. Rachel, get in there. Hold on. So Rachel, you`re saying you`re all about J-Lo. You`re not watching "Idol" because of Steven Tyler. You`re watching because of J-Lo.

ZALIS: You make it seem like it`s actually a music show. It`s entertainment. I think that`s what people are really looking for and I think that she`s the one that everyone is tuning into.

DIAZ: All right. We could go back and forth on this all night. But we have to go from J-Lo to the Jwoww. We`ve got to move to the stunning "Jersey Shore" secrets Jwoww dishes on Regis and Kelly today.

It`s the smooch everyone is buzzing about. In the season premiere of "Jersey Shore," we were all shocked - shocked, I say - when we saw Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino going at it in Italy.

I know I must have messed up the last names. Watch what happened today when Regis asked Jwoww about that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PHILBIN: But why? Why did the Situation make a move on her after all these years? You`ve been together four years. Why now does he make this move?

JENNIFER "JWOWW" FARLEY, REALITY TV STAR, "JERSEY SHORE": It`s Mike.

PHILBIN: Does it surprise you?

FARLEY: He`s creepy. No.

PHILBIN: He is creepy?

FARLEY: He is creepy, but then, you`ve got to figure that there`s three sides to every story. There`s Mike, Nicole and the truth. So the truth is kind of - you know, it`s like a wait-and-see in the season.

PHILBIN: Yes.

FARLEY: But at that particular time, I was just like, "Oh, Mike`s had a couple drinks and he feels like making out with Nicole," like I had no idea. I was just looking at him, like, "Oh."

KELLY RIPA, CO-HOST, "LIVE WITH REGIS AND KELLY": I think there has to be an ulterior motive. I really do.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

DIAZ: Is Snooki`s last name "Polizzi"? OK. OK. I get it. I`m coming to you on this one, Vinnie because your name - well, your name is Vinnie.

PENN: Understood.

DIAZ: What do you think? Is Kelly right? Is something bigger brewing here? Or are these just two orange friends in the throes of an Italian intoxication?

PENN: Absolutely. First of all, I think the show, in it and of itself, is why Regis is probably retiring, just having to talk to someone named Jwoww.

But I think the Situation flopped on Comedy Central roast with Donald Trump and he calculated it. I think it was a seven - what we call - it is a seven dentin situation, three before he kissed her, four after, because he knew it would get him back in the spotlight. Smart move. Smarter than I thought he was.

DIAZ: Vinnie, you are the man. I think that`s all the time we have. Rachel, I`m sorry. You can`t get any words in (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

PENN: Rachel, sorry.

ZALIS: I know.

DIAZ: All right. We`ll move on with you, guys. All right. Rachel Zalis, Vinnie Penn, thanks so much, guys.

All right. Moving on now, right now, SHOWBIZ breaking news with Anne Hathaway. The beautiful actress co-hosted the Oscars earlier this year with James Franco. But Anne just told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT she`s done with that.

She doesn`t want the job again. SHOWBIZ breaks the big Oscar news with Anne as she promotes her new movie "One Day." Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WYNTER: If you were asked to host the Academy Awards again, would you want to do it?

ANNE HATHAWAY, ACTRESS: No, I don`t think so. Not that it wasn`t fun. I had a great time, and it was an honor, and it was lovely. But it`s something that - it requires a skill set that I don`t really - I mean, I think the first time I didn`t put any pressure on myself to knock it out of the park with, you know, my hosting skills because how I would have any? I`ve never hosted anything.

But if I had to do it again, there`s a lot of things that you have to put in place in order to deliver a really, really great, well-crafted show that requires a lot of time and talent that I`m not entirely sure that I have.

So I think once is enough. It was a beautiful time. But maybe, like, you know what? If I haven`t been asked and I get asked when I`m 85, I will do it again just to know what it`s like on both ends.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

DIAZ: Well, I hope Anne will back on the stage long before she`s 85 taking home an Oscar. It`s what I picked. Anne`s new movie, "One Day," opens August 19th.
