(MUSIC)

Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer with Jill Simonian in New York. Tonight, it`s a SHOWBIZ exclusive. We`ve got Nancy`s "Dancing" secrets.

JILL SIMONIAN, GUEST HOST: That`s right, A.J. We are less than a week away from the new season of "Dancing with the Stars" and all eyes, yes, are on HLN`s Nancy Grace.

HAMMER: And tonight, Nancy and her partner for "Dancing," Tristan MacManus are opening up to me and SHOWBIZ TONIGHT about everything. Their plan to win it all, what Nancy really thinks about the controversy surrounding Chaz Bono and the ridiculous claim that kids watching Chaz may make them think about also changing their sex.

Now, of course, we all know usually it`s Nancy asking the tough questions. But tonight, Nancy is on the other side of it. I just spoke with her and Tristan for a no-holds-barred, ask-them-anything interview.

I want you to watch and listen very carefully because Nancy, of course, gets some pretty good digs-in with, of course, some classic Nancy zingers.

But first, I had to ask Nancy about how her feet have been holding up and if she has developed any of those wretched calluses on her feet.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

GRACE: No, they have not developed into calluses yet. They still have bandages on them, A.J. How kind of you to remind me of that.

Today, we practiced about five hours. It`s all kind of a big blur now. And so far, the bandages - there`s no change in the bandages so far. I can only hope I`ve got rid of them by next Monday night.

HAMMER: Well, I imagine the rehearsals are only getting more intense. Is there any point along the way, Nancy - seriously now. Is there any point where you said to yourself maybe this wasn`t such a good idea?

GRACE: No. No. Don`t jinx it for Pete`s sake. No. It`s a good idea because I`m raising money for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Of course, it`s a good idea.

HAMMER: OK. All right. Now, let me get to Tristan here. I want to speak to him. And Tristan, I`m not going to let Nancy listen to how you answer some of these questions tonight.

I know you were a part of the "Dancing with the Stars" dance troupe last season. This is your first time actually competing for the mirror ball. Now, Nancy can`t hear your answer.

Tell me honestly - what was your reaction when you found out Nancy Grace was your dancing partner?

TRISTAN MACMANUS, NANCY GRACE`S DANCING PARTNER: Well, I was - initially I was delighted that I`d been offered a partner in the first place.

So that was first kind of part and that stuck with me for a long, long time. When I was told Nancy was my partner, I was more like - grand. Who`s Nancy?

GRACE: Why is he stuttering? You told him I wouldn`t be able to hear him but I actually can hear him.

MACMANUS: Nancy hears everything.

GRACE: And he`s stuttering.

MACMANUS: Yes. Like I said initially -

GRACE: I don`t like it.

MACMANUS: I`m delighted to have a partner. I`m not very -

GRACE: (UNINTELLIGIBLE) delighted.

HAMMER: Hey, look, Nancy, you admitted yourself that it was going to be a challenge for you. So I have to imagine for your partner - you know, they know they have a little bit of a challenge.

GRACE: You didn`t ask him how many bandages he`s got from me stepping on him.

HAMMER: How many?

MACMANUS: That`s fine. I actually don`t have any. You don`t put bandages on breaks. So -

HAMMER: Here`s the thing. Here`s what I love about how Nancy operates. She didn`t waste any time giving you the Nancy Grace treatment on her HLN show after you were announced as her partner. Let`s take a look at how that went down.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Tristan, you say you`re from Ireland. What is your current visa status? Let`s just get that cleared up right now. Are you legal?

MACMANUS: I am legal.

GRACE: Tristan, you are a dancer. Did you ever consider a real job like lawyer, doctor?

MACMANUS: Yes, I`ve considered both jobs.

GRACE: Electrician?

MACMANUS: I`ve tried loads of different things. They just really didn`t work out for me too well.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Tristan, I want you to be honest and, again, Nancy can`t hear you. We`re cutting off the audio - we`re really not doing that.

But after that interrogation, did you kind of think about maybe going on the sly to the producers and saying, "Can I have a new partner? I`m scared."

MACMANUS: Definitely not. No, definitely not. I love all that. You see, that to me is a very Irish that we have banter. We have a go at each other and we make fun of each other and stuff.

So stuff like that for me is perfect because it makes me feel at ease. I can give as much as I get. So -

HAMMER: Perfect.

GRACE: A.J., here`s the deal - if I screw up really badly, I`m just going to make him take his shirt off, because, apparently, that`s what they do on "Dancing with the Stars."

Every time I turn around, somebody`s ripping their shirt off. If I really, really like fall flat, he`s just going to take his shirt off.

HAMMER: And Nancy - I know you like to go along with the program. I understand that that may actually happen. And all kidding aside, you guys look terrific together from what we`re able to see right here.

I do understand you`ve come up with a team name. Nancy, what is it?

GRACE: That was Tristan`s creation. I`ll let him tell you.

HAMMER: Tristan?

MACMANUS: Yes. I mean, it was quite simple. MacGrace is our team name.

HAMMER: MacGrace?

MACMANUS: MacManus and, obviously, Nancy Grace. That`s also Nancy`s father`s name, MacGrace.

GRACE: He took the liberty of putting himself first. Don`t think I didn`t notice that.

HAMMER: Hey, listen. Nancy, if you do really well and hang in there in the competition, maybe you can be a dish at McDonald`s.

MACMANUS: Maybe that`s a -

GRACE: Hey, thanks, A.J. I want to keep that in mind. But right now, I just want to stay horizontal - I want to stay vertical and not horizontal. That`s my big goal for the first night.

HAMMER: Best of luck with that. Now, we`re all rooting for you. Everybody is talking about this. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, by the way, was there at the red carpet for the Creative Emmy Awards.

And we spoke with one of your competitors, Chaz Bono. And you and I have spoken about this, Nancy. As you know, there`s been some controversy surrounding Chaz competing on the show.

We`re asking him if he`s having any trouble focusing on dancing with all the other drama that`s been going on around him. Here`s what he told us.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CHAZ BONO, "DANCING WITH THE STARS" CONTESTANT: I`ve been an activist since `95 and I have a lot of - you know, I`ve dealt with pretty much everybody, you know. So that doesn`t really bother me. So, no, I am very much focused just on the dancing.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. So he`s focused on the dancing. Nancy, do you think any of this ridiculous criticism that is out there will have any impact on the competition at all?

GRACE: No, I really don`t. And I`d like to report that I had a scathing interview with Chaz the first night we met and we bonded over cooking with a crock pot.

So I really think that all of this criticism and the brouhaha surrounding him being on the show will disappear and fade away and his feet will do the talking.

I`m a lot less concerned about what he`s got in his pants than what he`s got in his shoes. I want to see if he can dance. That`s all I care about, OK?

HAMMER: Nancy, that is a quote that`s going to live on right there. And quite frankly, there is one group that I think has done a great service helping to silence the critics.

I don`t know if you heard this, but the American Psychiatric Association shot down the claim that some have made that watching a transgender contestant could actually cause kids to develop gender identity disorder. I think we should all call this case closed. Don`t you, Nancy?

GRACE: Case closed. I`m sure there will be an appeal, though, because you know how people are. They`re going to keep stirring the pot until it boils over. And I`m just hoping that the first night of "Dancing" will put it all to rest.

HAMMER: Yes. I have a feeling it actually will, but it`s a wait-and-see on that. Now, Nancy, the last time we spoke, you said, "I`m not even worried about winning." And tonight, you`re telling you`re just worried about staying horizontal.

GRACE: Vertical.

HAMMER: Vertical, sorry. Freudian slip there. Listen, Tristan, now that she has had time to practice, are you seeing the competitive spirit come out in Nancy Grace?

GRACE: Maybe not so much the competitive side yet. Certainly, the determined side. So I think that`s great. The competition that we have at the moment is with ourselves.

I think that`s what we`re focusing most on. Obviously, once Monday rolls around, first show is going to be out of the way and there might be a change then. But certainly now very determined, competitive on its way, but still (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

GRACE: Don`t jinx it. Let me just focus on the cha-cha, all right? And another thing -

HAMMER: Yes?

GRACE: Tables turned, are you voting? Are you ready to vote?

HAMMER: I`m going to vote but, Nancy, look, you would expect me to be honest with my vote. I think, you know, you work and have worked in our judicial system. You want people to be fair.

So, Nancy, I am going to vote for you not simply because I love you. I`ve known you for a long time, but if I do in fact see you as the best dancer in my mind, you got my vote, Nancy Grace. Is that OK?

GRACE: I don`t like the way that sounds.

HAMMER: All right. You want me to -

GRACE: I want a loyalty vote. Just give it to me.

HAMMER: Actually, Nancy, I`m going to recant everything I just said. You have my loyalty vote.

HAMMER: Thank you, love.

HAMMER: I want to see you on the show for a long time. MacGrace, great to see you both. Thank you so much, Nancy. Best of luck.

GRACE: Bye, dear.

MACMANUS: Thank you.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

SIMONIAN: Moving on to CNN`s own Anderson Cooper hanging out with "Jersey Shore`s" SNOOKI.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON COOPER, HOST, "ANDERSON": Snooki`s here. I`m very excited.

NICOLE "SNOOKI" POLIZZI, REALITY TV STAR, "JERSEY SHORE": Hi. Oh, my god. You`re pale.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

SIMONIAN: Tonight, Snooki`s on a mission to change that. They`re going tanning. A.C.`s right here with the story of his fake bake in a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.

HAMMER: Wait until you see this. Will and Marc`s bizarre new bromance. Tonight, you`ve got Will Smith and Marc Anthony. They`re hanging out at a football game.

Now, remember, this is after the shocking reports that Marc had an affair with Will`s wife, Jada. Here`s our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, was this just a stunt?

SIMONIAN: And Marc`s ex, Jennifer Lopez, and Bradley Cooper on a reported dinner date. Tonight we`re asking would these two make a great couple? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: And this is the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Did you see this? This is just incredible to me, this group of people lifting up a burning car to free a man who is trapped underneath it.

Someone in a nearby office building got the whole thing on tape. As you`re seeing it here, the guy was riding a motorcycle, slammed right into the car.

And tonight, the police are calling the car-lifters naturally heroes. Last we heard, the bike rider was in stable condition. Driver of the car was not seriously hurt.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

SIMONIAN: And I`m Jill Simonian. Tonight, the SHOWBIZ fashion frenzy. All this week, we`ve got the biggest fashion trends coming out of New York`s spring fashion week, which is going on right now.

Now, I know it`s usually all about the ladies, what they`re wearing. But tonight, get ready. Let`s hear it for the boys because men`s wear, like Tommy Hilfiger, is seriously in style. No joke. Here`s CNN`s Alina Cho for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

ALINA CHO, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): The catwalk, this may be what comes to mind. But this is what is suddenly hot, not just for the fashion set, but for the every man. Men`s wear - it`s a $53 billion business in the U.S. alone, and growing fast.

GLENN O`BRIEN, "GQ" MAGAZINE: They want to distinguish themselves. They want to look better than the other guy because it`s a competition.

CHO: Few know that better than Tommy Hilfiger who says his menswear business is exploding.

TOMMY HILFIGER, FASHION DESIGNER: Years ago, it was maybe 80 percent women`s and 20 percent men`s for a lot of designers. Now, we`re about 50/50.

CHO: So what`s going on?

HILFIGER: I think the modern man is very aware of what`s going on in the world around him. With the Internet, with media today, men will look at a photo in a magazine or on television and they`ll say, "I want that. I want to look like that."

CHO: "Mad Men", "Gossip Girls", Web sites like "The Sartorialist" (ph), images of stylish men are everywhere.

HILFIGER: He sees it all and he wants to be a part of the game.

CHO (on camera): Has it taken the fear out of shopping?

BILLY REID, FASHION DESIGNER: Exactly, I think a little bit it has.

CHO (voice-over): Designer, Billy Reid is among the hottest menswear designers.

REID: You take this little bitty fashion market of men that now has just gone from mostly here - for themselves, because more men care about it.

CHO (voice-over): Reid has a women`s line, but sales of his menswear make up 85 percent of his business. His approach, bring them along slowly. Don`t shock them because old habits still apply.

REID: A guy would come in and I want, I need - six new shirts and they will pick out six new shirts and a coat. I mean, it`s almost like wardrobe. Women are more, "I`ve got to have that piece."

CHO (voice-over): Why Tommy Hilfiger designs his men`s shirts to go with all of his sweaters, making men`s dressing dummy proof.

(on camera): You still have to make it a little easy for the guys?

HILFIGER: Oh, yes, we make it very little easy. Otherwise, well, we call it the no-brainer way of shopping.

CHO (voice-over): Then there is this.

HILFIGER: He has to be able to walk in very quickly, make a decision, get to the register and get out.

CHO (on camera): Women are a little different.

HILFIGER: Women take the time, and women go into the dressing room. Men hate fitting rooms. And that`s why we also standardize all of our sizes.

CHO (voice-over): Because if they get home and it doesn`t fit, they won`t come back.

(on camera): Men are still, at the end of the day, more practical?

REID: A lot more practical, definitely more practical.

CHO: I don`t know if I believe that.

REID: Yes, some men.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

SIMONIAN: Hey, can you be practical and still look good, right? All right. The SHOWBIZ fashion frenzy continues all week long right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

On Wednesday, we`re taking you inside J. Crew. Thursday, the stylist for the stars is aiming to be designer to the stars, Rachel Zoe. She`s dressed Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Cameron Diaz - you name it. All of this leading up to Alina Cho`s spectacular, not-to-be-missed special, "Fashion Backstage Pass," this Saturday at 2:30 Eastern on CNN.

Well, the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines have been she-bopping all about Cyndi Lauper and her "Star Spangled Banner" in the U.S. Open semi- finals.

We`ve got a call to "Showbiz on Call" from Sherri in Massachusetts, who is a Cyndi Lauper fan but thinks she could have prepared better.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

SHERRI, CALLER FROM MASSACHUSETTS: I think Cyndi Lauper looks great. She looks like she did years ago and her voice is still beautiful.

It`s just a shame, Cyndi, if you`re asked to sing "The Star Spangled Banner," all you had to do was go on your computer and Google the lyrics and memorize them. And then you would not have forgotten the words no matter how stitched you were at the time that you were singing them.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: The "Showbiz on Call" phone lines are always open at 1-888-SBT- BUZZ; 1-888-728-2899. Leave us a voicemail so we can play your call here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

All right. Moving on to Anderson Cooper`s fake bake courtesy of Snooki.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

COOPER: Snooki`s here. Very exciting.

POLIZZI: Hi. Oh, my god. You`re pale.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Hey, Anderson, orange you glad you got spray-tanned with Snooki? Get it? She`s orange. A.C.`s right here. I`ve got to ask him how all of this went down in the SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.

SIMONIAN: And Will and Marc`s bizarre new bromance. Tonight, Will Smith and Marc Anthony hanging out at a football game after all those shocking reports that Marc had an affair with Will`s wife, Jada?

HAMMER: You have got to hear what "Basketball Wives: L.A." stars Gloria and Laura Govan have to say about this. They know all about the cheating reports. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ trending tonight. So who are the richest, highest paid men in Hollywood? Jill, the much anticipated list is out. I`m loving this.

Now, according to "Forbes," the top paid entertainer of the year is Tyler Perry. This guy made a whopping $130 million between May of last year and this year. I guess Tyler`s hit TV shows "Meet the Browns" and "House of Payne" made him big, big bucks.

SIMONIAN: Oh, yes. I`m excited about this. At first, you kind of say, huh? But then, it makes sense with all of his movies, producing, directing, everything. The guy`s got it going. And it`s his birthday today.

(CROSS TALK)

Yes. Here`s another little added interesting tidbit, A.J. Leonardo DiCaprio was the only actor on the list this year. He came in eighth on the list, bringing in $77 million for his two big movies in 2010, "Shutter Island" and one of my personal favorite movies of last year, "Inception."

HAMMER: I`m here to tell you he actually got some of my money for each of those, because I actually paid for "Inception." I paid for "Shutter Island." I enjoyed seeing both of those very much.

Another unexpected addition to "Forbes" richest men list here, musical powerhouse, Elton John. He came in fourth place - $100 million for Elton. His most recent tour grossed over $200 million. That`s a nice gig right there.

SIMONIAN: Yes. Way to go, Elton. And what kind of allowance does that make for his baby boy? $200 million - that`s pretty good.

All right. Now, but there were some people, A.J., on the list, too, this year, frankly, you know, we were not surprised by. Of course, you have producer Jerry Bruckheimer, Simon Cowell, Dr. Phil. They`ve all been on the list for the last three years.

HAMMER: I have to tell you Simon Cowell will probably not stop being on TV and annoying us. That`s why he`s at the top of the list.

SIMONIAN: Annoying and entertaining us - entertaining us. I know. But you know what? Tiger Woods is on that list, too, and it`s interesting. Despite, you know, all of his endorsements pulling out, he`s still there.

HAMMER: He`s on the list. He was at number 10. He`s number one on the top of sports figures.

SIMONIAN: All right. Well, there you go. All right. Here`s your chance to chime in on the richest men. Tweet #ForbesRichest and @ShowbizTonight right now.

HAMMER: All right. We`ve got to move on to the SHOWBIZ lineup. This is what`s coming up on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

CNN`s Anderson Cooper made huge headlines when he made fun of Gerard Depardieu, who peed in the cabin of an Air France flight. Anderson just spoke with Gerard about this for the very first time.

So was Gerard Depardieu peed off about A.C. pee laugh? Well, you can find out because I have A.C. right here for our SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.

Beyonce steals the fashion week spotlight. We are right there as Beyonce shows off her very fashionable baby bump. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Time to roll out the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

HAMMER: Big news breaking tonight on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - Anderson`s spray tans with Snooki.

COOPER: Snooki`s here, very excited!

POLIZZI: Hi! Oh, my god. You`re pale.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: this could be one of Anderson Cooper`s most challenging assignments ever. OK, maybe not. So why the fake bake? And Anderson`s revelations about his hot new talk show. He`s right here for a headline- making SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.

Will and Marc bro-ing it out? Will Smith, Marc Anthony, hanging out after shocking reports that Marc had an affair with Will`s wife, Jada. Our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, was this just a stunt?

And Marc`s ex, J. Lo spotted on a reported dinner date with Bradley Cooper. Tonight, we are daring to ask, would these two make a great couple?

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

And tonight, spray-tanning with Snooki. Yes, the reality star is fulfilling the T portion of the "Jersey Shore" GTL credo with an unlikely fake-bake partner, Anderson Cooper.

Anderson and Snooki big tanning event will air today in his terrific new syndicated daytime talk show. It`s of course called Anderson.

And of course, you can also see Anderson on "AC 360" at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Eastern on CNN. Anderson with me in New York for a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview. First of all, congratulations on the show.

COOPER: Thanks very much.

HAMMER: Thank you for finding time to squeeze us into your very busy schedule.

COOPER: Yes. The tan is gone, unfortunately.

HAMMER: It is, but you know, it`s not lost on me that over the years, or at least since "Jersey Shore" has been on the air, you`ve had a little bit of fun at Snooki`s expense, so I was happy to see this going down.

And I really think you were fulfilling perhaps what has been a long time dream, despite the poking.

COOPER: Yes.

HAMMER: I would like to take a little bit of a look at you and Snooki on your spray-tanning adventure, if we would roll that, Charles.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: First, I`m going to start by (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

POLIZZI: I had no idea that Mr. Anderson had muscles. When he took off his shirt and - he had like a huge, like, muscle. Cool.

COOPER: What do you think about accentuating what you already have?

POLIZZI: Cool.

COOPER: So it will look like I have an eight pack?

POLIZZI: You`ll have like many.

COOPER: I can`t believe that people paint on their muscles. This is a surprise to me.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Not just muscles - cleavage, cheek bones.

POLIZZI: Cleavage? I don`t need it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I have to believe that was probably a first for you. So I had to ask you - and, by the way, I do think she believed that your name is Mr. Anderson - spray-tanning with Snooki, what was that like?

COOPER: It was - she has a sense of humor about herself. I don`t know. I poke fun at her over the last couple of months on CNN and so it was nice that she has a sense of humor, that she laughs about herself and laughs at me.

And she tweeted that she wanted to take me spray-tanning so we thought, hey, you know, why not.

HAMMER: Is this something you`ll consider doing again?

COOPER: I don`t think so.

(CROSS TALK)

No, I don`t think so. I think I`m fine just being pale. It just seems like a lot of work. And then - yes.

HAMMER: And as we have mentioned, you have had a lot of fun at Snooki`s expense on "AC 360," on "The Ridiculous" in particular.

COOPER: Yes.

HAMMER: I believe we have a little bit of that. Let`s take a look at that. We should roll that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

COOPER: Snooki is one impossibly lucky, unusually funky, freakishly tanned, beer-guzzling, juice-head-hugging, Botero-body, pint-sized money making machine.

Do you guys think Snooki`s book will be more popular than mine? I`m just - I`m actually not sure what I will do with that information. Why, oh, why did I decide to leave out my musings on backaches?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: So you`ve said that she has a sense of humor about all of it -

COOPER: Right.

HAMMER: And people poking fun at her. But after having spent some time with her, is any of it an act or is Snooki just Snooki?

COOPER: I think what you see is pretty close to what there is. I mean, I do think some of it - she`s aware of what the celebrity is that`s around her.

And I think she certainly - she`s an entertainer. She knows - she`s very smart and very savvy in terms of what`s going on. And she`s in on the joke, too.

HAMMER: But what you see is what you get?

COOPER: yes. I think it wasn`t like, you know, there was something else that as soon as the cameras stopped rolling, she was completely different. She`s pretty much the way she is.

HAMMER: "Oh, Anderson, darling." It wasn`t like that?

COOPER: Exactly, no.

HAMMER: All right. Well, somebody else who was giving you quite a bit of a laugh on your show on "AC 360," Gerard Depardieu, of course.

COOPER: Yes.

HAMMER: Now, Gerard, of course, made the news recently because he was caught peeing on an airline. You brought that to your audience.

COOPER: Peeing on an airline, not in the bathroom.

HAMMER: That is correct. I guess that`s where the story comes in. And your video on your report on "The Ridiculous" about that went viral.

I`m going to spare you. No, no. We`re not - we weren`t going to play it for you. But in any event, this made big headlines everywhere. You had Gerard on your show today as well.

And he seemed to be in good humor about the whole thing. Let`s take a look at what happened there.

COOPER: Yes. OK.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DEPARDIEU: I said, "Madam I have a lot of pee. I have I to do pee, you know? It hurt me, you know? I`m not sick. I`m not a terrorist. I just want to pee, understand?" And she said, "No, go back to your place."

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: What a great guy. Here`s the thing, though. Of course, we reported the story on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT when it broke.

COOPER: Right.

HAMMER: It was a drive-by story.

COOPER: Right.

HAMMER: And then you had it on "The Ridiculous" and your laughing fit went viral, and the world knew about it. So when you guys bonded over his plane incident, did Gerard sort of hold you responsible for the fact that everybody on the planet now knows about it?

COOPER: I don`t think so. You know, he was really funny about it. And again, he had a sense of humor about it. You know, it`s always nice to - I`m sure you`ve talked about a lot of celebrities who don`t have a sense of humor about themselves.

And it`s nice to have, you know, folks who do on our show. So you know, he loved the giggle. He thought it was really funny. And you know, he really wanted to - he had a couple of jokes he wanted to do on the show.

And we had sort of a water bottle that he was involved with. So he was totally in on the joke and just a lot of fun.

HAMMER: What he needs to do is put out his own line of water bottles or something like that?

COOPER: Yes. That will be something that I`m sure will come.

HAMMER: I know you`re a huge fan of reality TV and you`re actually dealing with some serious topics on "Anderson" as well.

COOPER: Right.

HAMMER: "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" is getting a lot of buzz obviously after the suicide of Russell Armstrong, Taylor Armstrong`s husband from the show.

COOPER: Right.

HAMMER: And it`s also bringing a lot of attention to reality TV and what role it may play and what responsibility the show may have.

His attorney actually told me without question how he was portrayed on the show - and you know, you watched that show - did lead to his depression. I know you have the "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Friday that is, right?

COOPER: Yes.

HAMMER: Did they, in any way, also agree that the way he was portrayed on the show could possibly have played a role in his suicide?

COOPER: You know, we talked to them a lot about that and we pushed them pretty hard on it. I mean, I think they - they defend the show. They`re not about to - this is what made them famous. This is what`s going to continue to keep them on TV.

They`re not about to say that these episodes shouldn`t air. I think they`re happy that the shows have been reedited or in the process of being reedited.

But you know, there`s also - one should remember regardless of what his lawyer says. And I`m sure under anybody who is undergoing troubles to undergo them - it`s one thing if your friends and family know. It`s another thing if the entire world knows.

HAMMER: Yes.

COOPER: And so I think, you know, it`s not an arguable point that being on the show probably made matters worse for him in terms of more people knowing and amplifying whatever problems they had.

But it is interesting his business partner also committed suicide the following day. His business partner wasn`t on the TV show.

But clearly, it seems like there was something going on in his business that was not moving in the right direction if his business partner killed himself.

HAMMER: I do want to move on very quickly to ask you about a show that I`m particularly moving forward to, Monday`s show.

COOPER: Right.

HAMMER: You`re interviewing your mother, the great Gloria Vanderbilt, a rare interview. We don`t get to see her very often. And you really deal with some difficult subject matter that has occurred in her fascinating life.

It really is an incredible story. You talk about the death of your father, the suicide of your brother, her son back in 1988. And you said it was a very emotional show.

I`m sure any time you guys talk about these things. You`ve talked about these things for years. I`m curious, sitting and talking with her in the format of your show, did it give you any new insight into those tragedies?

COOPER: Right. We rarely - I mean, my mom, you know, discusses my brother all the time. But I rarely talk with her about it. So it was odd to talk with her about it. And she also surprised me on the show.

She actually taped a piece with the producers I didn`t about, about my father, about what he would have thought about me. And it completely caught me by surprise. It was probably the most emotional interview I`ve ever done, actually.

HAMMER: Unbelievable. Well, congratulations again.

COOPER: Thank you.

HAMMER: Always good to see you, Anderson. Make sure you check out Anderson`s talk show. It airs weekdays. Check your local listings.

SIMONIAN: A Will Smith and Marc Anthony bromance? Less than a month after stunning reports Marc had an affair with Will`s wife, Marc and will hanging out at a football game? Our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Flashpoint, was this just a giant stunt?

HAMMER: As if this wasn`t enough, you have mark`s ex, J. Lo just started with Bradley Cooper. They`re on a reported dinner date.

Here`s what I want to know - was this really just business or has J. Lo already found a new man? Our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, would these two make a great couple? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

TEXT: Jamie Foxx tapped to host the Michael Jackson tribute concert. Kardashians cheer on Kylie`s debut as a runway model.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Take a look at this. The video really making people`s heads spin tonight, Will Smith and Marc Anthony there, together at last night`s Miami Dolphins-New England Patriots game, hanging out like they`re old buds.

This is less than month after the shocking reports that Marc had an affair with Will`s wife, Jada, reports they that both denied, of course.

Tonight, it`s our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, Will and Marc, just two guys hanging out, or a giant stunt?

SIMONIAN: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Jill Simonian in New York.

For show or for real? That is the billion dollar question tonight. The stunning pictures of Will and Marc at the Dolphins game are everywhere, and here`s why.

Marc, who was in the process of ending his marriage to Jennifer Lopez, and Will, who fought off reports recently that he, of course, is ending his marriage, didn`t just grab a few beers together in that fancy luxury box.

No, they were mugging for pictures for everybody in sight. So while Marc and J. Lo`s romance may be over, Marc and Will`s bromance definitely seems to be alive and kicking.

Right now, with me, to break this all down, are reality TV stars Gloria and Laura Govan, who co-star in "Basketball Wives: L.A."

All right. Gloria, I`m going to start with you. Thanks for joining us tonight. You`re engaged to L.A. Lakers guard Matt Barnes. You have fought off plenty of split rumors on your own, so you know the drill.

You know what these guys are going through. But when you see Marc and Will cozying it up together like this, taking pictures with, you know, Will and Marc, Marc being the guy who reportedly got a little bit too close to Jada Smith. I`ve got to ask you for our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, was this a stunt?

GLORIA GOVAN, REALITY TV STAR, "BASKETBALL WIVES: L.A.": I think it was a little extra. I think they could be friends. But I just - yes, I just feel they probably wanted to do a little extra to show that they really are friends and there`s no animosity between the two of them.

So I think they`re friends. I just think they kind of went overboard with the whole bromance public affection kind of thing.

SIMONIAN: I know. I`m kind of with you on that. I do think there`s a relationship there, but I think they`re making a scene for publicity.

G. GOVAN: A scene, yes.

SIMONIAN: Exactly. All right. Now, just moments before hanging with Will for the Miami Eagles game, Marc said that he talked about how great things are at home right now. Have a look.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MARC ANTHONY, SINGER: I`m good all the way around. The family`s great. The kids are great. Everything`s good.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

SIMONIAN: All right, Marc says it all good. He`s hanging out with Will. But Laura, I`m going to throw it to you. Can you understand why people at home right now are just saying, you know, this is fake? Are you buying this?

LAURA GOVAN, REALITY TV STAR, "BASKETBALL WIVES: L.A.": Yes. I feel like what do you expect for him to say? Like what do you want him to say? He`s trying his best to, you know, kind of recover from the whole Jen - you know, the whole thing. So it`s like - I feel bad for the guy, actually.

SIMONIAN: You feel bad for him -

L. GOVAN: Yes.

SIMONIAN: Trying to smooth everything over?

L. GOVAN: Yes. And I feel like it`s expected of him to be - if he`s sad and lonely, what are you going to say? Like what a loser. Like, look at him sob. You know what I mean?

SIMONIAN: Exactly. Exactly. Well, I mean, something Marc does have to deal with, you know, not to be outdone by the whole thing. But Marc`s soon-to-be ex, Jennifer Lopez, has tongues wagging coast to coast here. We`re going to show it to you in a little bit.

Jennifer was spotted in New York with the very sexy Bradley Cooper, dining in this building no less. She reportedly had a very swanky dinner with Bradley where she was dressed to kill. No canoodling on the record for this one.

They apparently talked business according to a source. Gloria, we all know Jennifer here is a diehard romantic. Do you get how people are hearing these reports, though, and you know, saying - kind of jumping to conclusions?

G. GOVAN: Yes. You know, I think that sometimes what people see, that`s all it is. Sometimes people are just talking. Jen is drop-dead gorgeous. I don`t care.

She could be wearing a potato sack. She would still be absolutely fabulous. So you know, I just think that who she is, she`s fabulous all the way around. And she could be talking about - I mean, Brad`s hot, too. Brad is nice looking.

SIMONIAN: So you like the couple?

G. GOVAN: I think it cute. And there`s nothing wrong with a little flirting. A little flirting. Let her flirt.

SIMONIAN: All right. Exactly. There`s nothing wrong with the flirting. I did do a little digging today about just how soon Jennifer tends to kind of jump feet first into love.

Check this out. It`s almost unbelievable. Just three days before divorcing her second husband back in 2002, Jennifer was already introducing Ben Affleck as her new boyfriend.

And if you fast forward to 2004, months after breaking up with Ben and less than six months after Marc`s divorce from his first wife, Jen and Marc were an item. Laura, do we need to brace ourselves for Bradifer or Jencoop?

L. GOVAN: I don`t know. I think that Jennifer is a disaster when it comes to relationships.

SIMONIAN: A disaster? Jennifer Lopez is a disaster?

L. GOVAN: A disaster. Yes, I do. And I kind of feel like it shows that - it`s just everyday people, like, she`s just like everybody else. Bad romance. Bad relationships. I like it.

SIMONIAN: You like it. All right. You like it. Well, Gloria and Laura Govan, thank you so much. And you can catch "Basketball Wives: L.A." on VH-1.

HAMMER: We move on now to Tori Spelling`s mommy guilt. Now, Tori is telling all tonight about exactly why she`s so afraid of becoming a bad mom.

Plus, is "Sex and the City" going to high school? Hey, we might just get to see what Carrie and the rest of the gang looked like as teens. All that is in "The Buzz Today."

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) "Sex and the City," the early years? Carrie Bradshaw and crew just might be back on TV. The prequel, "The Carrie Diaries," has been picked up by the CW Network according to "Entertainment Weekly."

It will be based on "Sex and the City" character Carrie Bradshaw`s life as a teenager and will be adapted from author Candace Bushnell`s young adult novel which chronicles Carrie in high school. If the pilot is picked up, the show could air by the fall of 2012.

Tori`s mommy guilt confessions. Tori Spelling is revealing in a new interview that she`s struggling with juggling work in Hollywood and being a mom. The star of "Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" has two children with her husband Dean McDermott and is due with their third next month.

Tori tells "Parenting" magazine, "There are days when I struggle with wanting to be a full-time stay-at-home mom and feeling guilty about that because I work. One mom at school recently said `Oh, you never going to anything.` That hit me really hard."

(END VIDEOTAPE)

SIMONIAN: And now Kate plus hate? The brand-new evidence tonight Kate haters really are cheering the end of her reality show. Ouch. But haters, watch out. Kate`s already talking about a return to TV. That`s next.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You know what? What I`m done.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: There will be no more of that. It`s curtains for Kate Gosselin`s reality show. But what`s left? Kate plus hate?

There`s brand-new evidence today that Kate Gosselin haters are actually celebrating the end of her TV career. But I`m here to warn you that Kate is not done just yet.

Back with me in New York, VH-1`s "Basketball Wives" Gloria Govan and Laura Govan.

All right. So like sand through the hour glass, so are the days of Kate`s life on TV, or so we thought. Check out Kate`s reaction to suggestions from Wendy Williams` viewers of what Kate should do next.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WENDY WILLIAMS, HOST, "THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW": "Celebrity Apprentice." That`s a good one, Kate. It`s a paycheck. It`s more exposure.

K. GOSSELIN: OK.

WILLIAMS: A Lifetime movie actress. Do you act?

K. GOSSELIN: I actually would love to.

WILLIAMS: oh! Well, then that was a good one.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Did you see her face light up there when they suggested acting? Then she goes, "I could do that." What do you think, Gloria? Because, obviously, people were really souring on Kate toward the end. Do you think people want to see her come back as an actress?

G. GOVAN: I don`t think so. I think they`re just kind of throwing out suggestions. I don`t really think that they`re like expecting her to be so excited about it. But I don`t know. We`ll see.

HAMMER: Laura, I know you watch a lot of reality TV. Is there anything you can see her doing? I mean, we were thinking maybe "The Bachelorette." Maybe her own talk show or something like that?

L. GOVAN: I want to see her in "Wipeout."

HAMMER: Just have some paint -

L. GOVAN: I`m like - yes. I just want to see her run and jump off those red balls and see how she bounces.

HAMMER: She just turned people off way too much. And my feeling is, she`s done whether it`s reality, whether it`s acting.

L. GOVAN: Yes, I think so.

HAMMER: I think she needs to get a job out of the limelight, right?

L. GOVAN: Yes.

G. GOVAN: Yes. I think after "Dancing with the Stars," she was done.

HAMMER: All right. Gloria, Lauren, thanks so much.

G. GOVAN: Thank you.

L. GOVAN: Thank you.

SIMONIAN: Tonight, Beyonce`s baby fashion. That`s right. The superstar`s surprise fashion week visit turns heads, but not because of what she`s wearing. You`ve got to see it. That`s next.

HAMMER: Tonight, Beyonce`s baby fashion. You`ve got to check this out. Beyonce making a surprise appearance at fashion week here in New York City.

She showed up at J. Crew`s first big show. And look, you can see her baby bump. It`s right there underneath all those gold sequins that she`s wearing.

Now, reports say she`s already four months along. Beyonce, of course, finally admitted to being pregnant at the MTV VMAs late last month.

But that didn`t stop Beyonce from rocking a J. Crew dress. Her sister, Solange, also showed up at the event. That`s two of them hugging. They`re expected to stick around for the rest of fashion week. Very cool.
