(MUSIC)

Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. And we`ve got big news breaking tonight - sorry, Charlie, you`re officially dead on "Two and a Half Men owe".

Charlie Sheen`s Charlie character was killed off tonight in the season premiere. Of course, this is one night after Sheen got up on stage at the Emmys looking very sorry for his tiger blood goddess rampage mess.

Charlie`s out. Ashton Kutcher is in. And get a load of this - there they are - Charlie and Ashton together backstage at the Emmy Awards. I have been wondering, what the heck could they possibly be talking about there? I`m thinking maybe Ashton was thanking him, "Hey, Charlie, I got your high-paying gig. Thanks a lot, pal."

Joining me tonight from Hollywood, Rachel Zalis, who was right there at the Emmys last night. Rachel is a contributing editor for "Life and Style Weekly." She`s in Hollywood tonight.

With me in New York, Megan Alexander, who is a correspondent for "Inside Edition."

So the folks at the Emmys understandably had huge reservations about letting Charlie Sheen get up there on stage and present the award for outstanding lead actor in a comedy.

Of course, that`s his old Emmy category. They, of course, thought he might sabotage the whole thing. He was on live TV around the world. Instead, Charlie actually did a pretty good job. Let`s watch what he did.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CHARLIE SHEEN, ACTOR: Before I present outstanding lead actor in a comedy series, my old category, I want to take a moment to get something off my chest and say a few words to everybody here from "Two and a Half Men."

From the bottom of my heart, I wish you nothing but the best for this upcoming season. We spent eight wonderful years together, and I know you will continue to make great television.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I don`t know if they were all wonderful years. I think people might take issue with that. Let me go to you, Rachel, because you, of course, were right there at the Emmys last night. You saw the whole thing going down in person.

Look, I give Charlie a small amount of credit for not creating another train wreck moment last night, which he very well could have. But to me, the whole thing just smacked of desperation. What do you think?

RACHEL ZALIS, CONTRIBUTING EDITOR, "LIFE AND STYLE WEEKLY": Absolutely. I mean, listen, I love that Charlie is trying to take the high road. But come on, you can still have a sense of humor. I missed that comedy.

He kept taking these long dramatic pauses and you kept thinking, "OK, something funny is going to come," and then he kind of went flat. So -

HAMMER: You know, Charlie, I think, is really starting to feel the hurt from the fact that he doesn`t have this high-paying gig anymore. I do get why the folks at the Emmys were worried about Charlie being there on live television.

Of course, they were probably afraid that they would get this side of Charlie.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SHEEN: What? You didn`t go there because you judged me. You condemned me. You discarded me. Well, not anymore. Winning!

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. But instead, you know, they got a pretty gracious Charlie, Megan. The thing is, we`ve seen this before. We`ve seen Charlie go off the rails. We`ve seen him come back and then we`ve seen him, you know -

MEGAN ALEXANDER, CORRESPONDENT, "INSIDE EDITION": Derail again.

HAMMER: Spiral again downward. What do you think? Is this Charlie the nice guy act for real?

ALEXANDER: Well, look, he was finally a man of few words. I actually think it went off pretty well. And A.J., he`s got plenty to thank that show for and it`s all in his bank account.

So I thought it was a little classy. I think what was more awkward was Ashton Kutcher`s hair.

HAMMER: Well, let`s take a look at Ashton Kutcher`s hair one more time, because they tweeted this picture. Do we have that?

(CROSS TALK)

ALEXANDER: What is he doing? It`s ridiculous.

HAMMER: I assume it`s for his character.

ALEXANDER: OK.

HAMMER: Maybe you haven`t had a chance to watch "Two and a Half Men" yet. But go back and look at it on your DVR. Charlie tweeted this picture that he took with Ashton. This was backstage at the Emmys last night.

Today, Charlie went on the "Wendy Williams Show." He said he planned on watching Ashton earlier tonight on "Two and a Half Men." Take a look at this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SHEEN: I`m curious to see where this thing goes, you know. I`m definitely rooting for them.

WENDY WILLIAMS, HOST, "WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW": If he were sitting here on the couch now, what would you ask him or say to him?

SHEEN: I would just give him a hug and just say, "Make me proud, bro."

(APPLAUSE)

Yes, that`s what I would do, because I don`t look at it as something that was taken from me. I look at it as something, you know, that I left behind -

WILLIAMS: Yes.

SHEEN: That I sent a lot of time on, a lot of passion was poured into, a lot of energy, a lot of love. And so I`m very - a little bit concerned -

WILLIAMS: Yes.

SHEEN: Or curious about how they`re going to take care of it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. So there you go, the high road Charlie wishing Ashton the best. He does say that he`s kind of concerned, I think, particularly about how they`re going to be able to pull off this transition.

Rachel, I do have to imagine that Charlie, somewhere inside that crazy brain of his, is hoping on some level the show can`t go on without him. It`s not as if his ego is suddenly vaporized, right?

ZALIS: No way. I mean, who wants to feel like when you walk away or fired from something that it is going to live on after you, same with like an ex- boyfriend, like, "How can you live without me?"

So obviously, he has those feelings. But at the same time, like, he`s trying to move on. He has a new show called "Anger Management" that he`s trying to get out there.

Obviously, he`s really working that photo-op with Ashton, and making nice and really trying humble himself in front of everybody so he can work again in this town.

HAMMER: Yes. I think the appearance at the Emmys last night was sort of Charlie`s cherry on the top for what he`s been doing over the last few weeks, really trying to make good and prove to all of his fans and to everybody in Hollywood that he is, in fact, back on track.

But I`ve got to say a lot of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT viewers not buying Charlie the nice guy. Here`s what we asked in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll, "Charlie Sheen`s Brand-New Apology Tour: Do you believe Charlie`s really sorry?"

Look at that. Only 37 percent say yes, they think Charlie realizes he really screwed up. Sixty-three percent not buying it, Megan. I`m not surprised by those results at all. What about you?

ALEXANDER: I`m not either. It`s going to take a long time for this man to convince everyone that he has indeed turned over a new leaf, if you will. But this was a good start.

HAMMER: Yes.

ALEXANDER: You know, listen, he comes from a neat family. Martin Sheen - you look at him. Charlie`s a great actor. He can do it. It`s going to take some time, some work. Prove it to us.

HAMMER: See, that makes me sad every time somebody reminds me he`s Martin Sheen`s child.

ALEXANDER: I know. I know.

HAMMER: Because, to me, Martin Sheen is one of the greatest actors in Hollywood and one of the most standup people in Hollywood.

ALEXANDER: I know.

HAMMER: Charlie, look to your father.

ALEXANDER: Exactly.

HAMMER: Thank you. Charlie, of course, is not the only one causing big buzz at the Emmys. "Saturday Night Live`s" Andy Samberg and the Lonely Island Brothers stirred things up in their own special way.

They did a little musical performance with the great Michael Bolton. He did a bunch of their hits, including "I Just Had Sex." Watch this.

(MUSIC)

Now, it was hilarious, but there were some people saying it was way too racy for family television, including Comedy Central`s Jon Stewart, who, I`m thinking, probably echoed a lot of other parents` thoughts during his acceptance speech. Watch what Jon said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JON STEWART, COMEDIAN: Also, I want to thank Andy Samberg and the Lonely Island guys. My kids are out here this time, Nate and Maggie, seven and five. And I have a lot of explaining to do to them. I really hope they`re on Club Penguin right now. Go to bed, guys.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Rachel, you were right there at the Emmys. You watched the whole performance go down. It was pretty racy. Was it too racy for, you know, what`s supposed to be a family show?

ZALIS: I loved it. Come on. This isn`t the Disney Channel. This is Fox. They run "Family Guy." They push the envelope.

The best part was Michael Bolton`s mustache and beard coming off midway through the song. It was absolutely genius. And we were going wild laughing in hysteria.

HAMMER: Megan, I need a mother`s perspective here.

ALEXANDER: Oh, it was way too racy and way too raunchy. But the scariest of all was Michael Bolton with long hair. Again, he cut it for a reason. Michael, time to go back to the short hair. There`s a reason he cut it. He was Johnny Depp -

HAMMER: He still sounds great. I want to get to one big racy Emmy moment that we never saw on Fox last night. Alec Baldwin was replaced in a sketch by Leonard Nimoy. I thought it was a terrific sketch that opened up the Emmy Awards show.

But this was after Fox wouldn`t let him make a joke about the outrageous phone-hacking scandal involving their corporate bosses.

Now, Alec tweeted that his being censored, quote, "sucks because I think it would have made them look better," although he says it`s not why he didn`t show at the Emmys.

Rachel, what do you think? Was Alec right he shouldn`t have been censored? It would have been awkward for Fox, I imagine, to have that joke on the air.

ZALIS: Yes, but they make fun of everybody else. Why not themselves? I mean, Alec gave an interview this morning saying that his bosses at GE totally have a great sense of humor about making fun of them on "30 Rock." And he expected the same from Fox, and I think most people would.

HAMMER: All right. Megan Alexander, Rachel Zalis, thank you both. It was a fun night for sure. We move on now to runaway housewife mayhem.

Tonight, let the divorce war begin. The startling new details we have to share with you of the pre-nup that could actually leave Michaele Salahi broke for running away with a rock star. And the rocker`s soon-to-be ex- wife is going ballistic.

SHOWBIZ quickies on tonight`s shockers. Tonight, Kirstie Alley slammed by "Project Runway`s" Tim Gunn. This is after Kirstie`s 100-pound weight loss claim.

Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake are setting the record straight. You`ve got to hear about whether or not they actually did sext each other. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Now, SHOWBIZ at the Emmys. What the stars told us on Sunday night at the Emmys Awards. Right now, "Mike and Molly" star and best actress Emmy winner, Melissa McCarthy.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MELISSA MCCARTHY, ACTRESS: I had such a great, big response right away from the show. And it`s just so nice. It`s such a special group of people. We`re really close and - I don`t know.

It just means a lot to me to have people really kind of truly take ownership of it and they have such a lovely reaction to it. I think the sweetness - the show`s so funny, but I think it`s the sweetness of the show.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer. Tonight, does Michael Jackson`s brother think Conrad Murray is the guy responsible for Michael`s death?

Dr. Murray`s manslaughter trial is underway right now. So as jury selection moves forward this week, does Jermaine Jackson think that Michael`s death is completely Murray`s fault? Listen to what Jermaine said on "The View" just this morning.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JERMAINE JACKSON, MICHAEL JACKSON`S BROTHER: To administer propofol in someone, you have to be in a hospital setting. And being a cardiologist and instead of anesthesiologist, it just wasn`t a proper thing to do.

BARBARA WALTERS, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER AND CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": Do you feel that he is the one responsible for your brother`s death?

J. JACKSON: He`s part, but we will never know who all were involved because the surveillance tapes where this all happened - a lot of the tapes were erased, and so this is the question -

WALTERS: There are others involved, you have claimed.

J. JACKSON: I feel that, yes.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Now, the stunning possible connection between the Casey Anthony verdict and the Michael Jackson trial. Tonight, some people are saying that because of the Anthony verdict, Dr. Conrad Murray may not get a fair trial. So is this a legitimate concern or is it plain ridiculous? Here`s CNN`s Ted Rowlands for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the Casey connection.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We, the jury, find the defendant not guilty.

TED ROWLANDS, CNN CORRESPONDENT: The not-guilty verdict for Casey Anthony made a lot of people angry.

CROWD: Appeal! Appeal!

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It`s wrong she got away with it.

NANCY GRACE, HOST, "NANCY GRACE": The devil is dancing tonight.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: O.J. number two.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: O.J. number two. That`s what you`re hearing here. O.J. number two.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Orenthal James Simpson, not guilty of the crime of murder.

ROWLANDS: After the 1995 not-guilty verdict in the O.J. Simpson case, many attorneys across the country say they saw a change in juries.

They say jurors seemed to be gunning for defendants, coming back with guilty verdicts, as though they were somehow making up for the O.J. verdict. Many believe that could happen again because of the Casey Anthony acquittal.

MICHAEL CARDOZA, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Jurors that have paid attention to that case on some level want to go into courtrooms and do justice. In other words, they`re going to convict the next person that comes in.

ROWLANDS: The next high-profile defendant is Dr. Conrad Murray, accused of causing the death of Michael Jackson. On the jury selection questionnaire, potential jurors were asked if they followed the Casey Anthony trial.

SHEPARD KOPP, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: The ones who have strong feelings about Casey Anthony are not going to be good defense jurors. If you can identify who those people are, you have a much better chance of seating a fair jury.

ROWLANDS: Even though their initial request was denied, Murray`s lawyers still want the jury sequestered.

GRACE: Wants the jury sequestered from me.

ROWLANDS: They argue that media coverage, including shows like "NANCY GRACE" that covered the Casey Anthony trial extensively, could keep Murray from getting a fair trial.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The same team that covered Casey Anthony is heading to Los Angeles.

MARCIA CLARK, PROSECUTOR IN O.J. SIMPSON CASE: It may be that jurors walk into these high-profile cases thinking, "I`d better be careful. I`d better be leaning towards conviction rather than acquittal because otherwise an entire country will be out there with their pitchforks after me."

ROWLANDS: Those jurors are expected to be in place by the end of the week.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: That was CNN`s Ted Rowlands for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I want you to know that SHOWBIZ TONIGHT and HLN will be covering the Conrad Murray trial like in one else.

Everyone on HLN will be on this - Nancy Grace, of course, Jane Velez- Mitchell, Dr. Drew, Joy Behar, Vinnie Politan and me. "Justice for Michael." Be sure to keep it right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT and HLN.

So many calls have been coming into "Showbiz on Call" about Brad Pitt`s shocking new interview, the one where he slams his marriage to his ex-wife, Jen Aniston. Lisa from New Jersey thinks Pitt is the pits.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

LISA, CALLER FROM NEW JERSEY: He had some hell of a nerve. She is a beautiful girl. He kicked her in the teeth. And now, he`s knocking her and calling her dull when he`s married to toxic waste?

I mean, it`s disgusting. I have no desire to ever go to any of his movies again. I hope his new movie flops. And I`m sure a lot of women are going to agree with me.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Lisa, thanks for your call. Now, Beth from New Jersey says that Brad not so bad.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

BETH, CALLER FROM NEW JERSEY: I feel sorry for Brad Pitt. I know he made a mistake about what he said about Jennifer Aniston, his ex-wife. And I`m sure he didn`t mean it, but I know where he`s coming from.

He`s not trying to put Jennifer Aniston down. The thing is, he should have kept his mouth shut and not said anything. As a matter of fact, Brad, stop talking about Jennifer. It`s over. It`s finished. It`s done.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Beth, thanks for your call. What do you think? Let us know on "Showbiz on Call." Sound off on this or anything else at all. The "Showbiz on Call" phone line is always open - 1-888-SBT-BUZZ; 1-888- 728-2899. Leave us a voicemail so we can play your call here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

Coming up, "Real Housewives" mayhem. "The Real Housewives of New York" fired. Tonight, a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive, fired "Housewives" star Cindy Barshop right here to reveal everything in a headline-making SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview. Was she really blindsided?

Also this -

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Do it. I`m going to do it!

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ quickies on tonight`s shockers, including The Situation`s very first acting gig from "Jersey Shore" to hip hop star? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

More SHOWBIZ at the Emmys - what the stars told us on Sunday night at the Emmy Awards. Here`s "Modern Family`s" Ed O`Neill on the show`s back- to-back best comedy win.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ED O`NEILL, ACTOR: For me, it was better than the first time. To repeat is difficult, you know. I`m relieved.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Tonight, star Emmys fashion - love it or hate it? The biggest stars in Hollywood, of course, showed up in their Emmy Sunday best.

But I`ve got to tell you no one can stop talking about Gwyneth Paltrow and Katie Holmes. I want to start with Gwyneth.

Paltrow showed up with a revealing black dress with strategically placed cutouts showing off her terrific figure. There are a lot of people out there today calling Gwyneth`s gown a giant fail.

With me in New York is Megan Alexander, correspondent for "Inside Edition." I think Gwyneth always looks terrific. I`m loath to criticize her, Megan. I will point out that Oprah`s stylist even tweeted that she looked very "I Dream of Jeannie."

ALEXANDER: Yes.

HAMMER: Give me your take on this.

ALEXANDER: Oh, that`s actually a compliment, I think. I liked that show. Look, this was a Pucci gown. I agree with you. I never want to criticize anyone because the whole world is staring at you at these award shows.

But I think this was probably the worst dress she`s ever worn. And she shared that she chose two dresses, only looked at two, and chose this one. So I want to know what the other one looked like.

Very interesting to pull this off, A.J. Maybe Gwen Stefani could have pulled off that midriff look. I`m not sure if those leather pieces, when you`re looking at it up close -

HAMMER: Yes. But you go into this knowing you`re taking a chance. I don`t know much, but I know that it is a strategic move -

ALEXANDER: Yes, you are.

HAMMER: When you wear something like that and you know people are going to be talking about it. Let`s talk about Katie Holmes. Now, Katie wore what I thought was a pretty unique number from my limited knowledge of these things.

Can we take a look at Katie? Some critics are actually saying that she looked like she went out in her pajamas and was way too casual. Do you think it was a sleeper or big snooze? Because I actually thought she looked great.

ALEXANDER: This was one of my favorite dresses of the night - Calvin Klein, solid color. Blue, check. Simple, check. Hair up and elegant, check.

I thought she looked absolutely dazzling. And a lot of my female friends, A.J., feel the same way. We`re all chatting today and saying Katie looked great.

HAMMER: Perfect. Charles, go right to the Sofia Vergara picture because I want to just compliment Sofia, who I thought looked absolutely, just spectacularly gorgeous. I know nothing about female fashion, but I think she looked perfect.

ALEXANDER: And all the men in America say, "Amen," for her wearing that gorgeous dress. The woman is absolutely dazzling. You can`t go wrong with red. Vavavoom!

HAMMER: She knocked it out of the park. All right, Sofia -

ALEXANDER: Yes, she did.

HAMMER: Megan Alexander, all right. You look lovely this evening, my friend.

ALEXANDER: Thank you.

HAMMER: You`re welcome. Moving now to the SHOWBIZ lineup. Here`s what`s coming up on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

Runaway housewife mayhem. Tonight, let the divorce war begin. Wait until you hear this. Startling new details of the pre-nup that could actually leave Michaele Salahi broke for running away with a rock star.

And more "Housewives" mayhem tonight. A SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive - we`ve got fired "Housewives" star Cindy Barshop. She`s right here to reveal all in a headline-making SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview. Was she really blindsided? That`s next.

And Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake are setting the record straight about whether they sexted each other. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Now, more SHOWBIZ at the Emmys - what the stars revealed to us Sunday night at the Emmy awards. Here "Mad Men" creator, Matthew Weiner on the AMC show`s win for best drama four years in a row.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MATTHEW WEINER, CREATOR, "MAD MEN": You expect that people to get tired it have and not be interested in it. We`re trying to keep our game up there. And you know - I can`t even believe we ever got in here the first time, you know what I mean? People noticing a show this weird.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Big news breaking tonight on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - runaway housewife divorce mayhem. The White House crashing Michaele Salahi runs away with a rock star, but could her pre-nup leave her broke?

And more "Housewives" mayhem. "Real Housewives of New York" fired. Tonight, former New York housewife, Cindy Barshop speaks out in a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsmaker exclusive. Was she really blindsided?

SHOWBIZ quickies on tonight`s shockers. Kirstie Alley drops 100 pounds and reportedly claims she`s a size 4. "Project Runway`s" Tim Gunn slams her. And are Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis true friends with benefits? Justin and Mila set the record straight. Did they sext each other?

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

We`ve got big news breaking tonight - the runaway housewife mayhem. Yes, the split of former "Real Housewives of D.C." stars Michaele and Tareq Salahi has taken an even stranger twist tonight.

Now, Tareq has filed for divorce. Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has learned the shocking and explosive things that he`s saying about his wife who left Tareq for Neal Schon, who is the guitarist from the band, Journey.

And if that`s not strange enough, well, it turns out Neal Schon is married himself. And now, his wife is speaking out as well. I`ve got to say this whole saga is really stranger and, quite frankly, more dramatic than anything you could write for TV.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

A real housewife`s journey of illicit passion. The rock star who whisked her away. The housewife`s angry and hurt husband who is now lashing out. And just for the record, the rock star`s wife isn`t too happy either.

It`s the continuing saga, of ex "Real Housewives of D.C." and White House party crasher, Michaele Salahi, who left her husband, Tareq, to be with Journey guitarist and former flame, Neal Schon.

This story has more juicy, scandalous blink-and-you`ll-miss-it turns than a soap opera. So today, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT brings you the latest on the runaway housewife.

Today, almost a week after she left Tareq, making him think she`d been kidnapped, Michaele Salahi is enjoying life on the road with her rock star lover. In this new photo obtained today from TMZ, we see Michaele cheering on Neal Saturday night at a Journey concert in Tampa, Florida. Here she is - discreetly off stage.

DAX HOLT, PRODUCER, TMZ: She`s just sitting there, going along for the tour and not really caring about what`s going on with her husband back at home.

HAMMER: And while Michaele is rocking out, Tareq is getting out of their marriage. Today, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained Tareq Salahi`s divorce filing where he makes some explosive accusations about his runaway wife.

HOLT: He says this relationship between her and Neal apparently has been going on for a couple months.

HAMMER: In his filing, Tareq claims his wife`s affair has, quote, "caused me to suffer great harm, humiliation and embarrassment." Humiliation is right.

HOLT: One thing he says is that Neal actually sent him a picture of -

HAMMER: We`ll just some you right there, Dax. Let`s just say it wasn`t a picture of Neal`s guitar. Anyhoo, TMZ`s Dax Holt tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Tareq claims that, in addition to stealing his wife and sending him pictures of his "guitar," Neal Schon is adding more insult to injury.

HOLT: Tareq is also under the assumption that Journey and the band mates and Michaele are all crank calling at early hours of the morning trying to make his life miserable.

HAMMER: Making his split even more interesting, TMZ reports Tareq and Michaele had a pre-nup when they got married in 2003, meaning this could end up being one costly fling for Michaele.

HOLT: There is a pre-nup involved and it says that if she commits adultery, then she is not going to have any say so on the money that they accumulated during the eight years of marriage or the property.

Another clause in there is if she leaves the family home, then she will not be able to get spousal report. So she really kind of kicked herself in the butt here. And if this doesn`t work out with Neal, she has nothing to fall back on.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Mr. and Mrs. Salahi -

HAMMER: And if Michaele or anyone else has any notions that she will go back to Tareq to crash more parties together, Tareq is saying forget about it.

HOLT: He is saying that he is not going to be taking her back.

HAMMER: Meanwhile, there`s another player in this rock `n` roll meets reality show love triangle.

HOLT: What most people doesn`t know that Neal is actually married himself. He married Eva Fabian, who is a 1986 playmate. Two months ago, we caught up with her. She`s not very happy about the situation. She said she was blindsided and she will not be taking Neal back either.

HAMMER: So in this rock `n` roll love and lust saga, we`re seeing a new couple taking their love on the road, two bitter spouses and a divorce that has all the ingredients of a nasty split. Looks like we`re in for many future editions of the runaway housewife.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: And I am certain we`re going to be seeing more drama from the runaway housewife. Too bad this real life soap opera did nothing to help save the "Real Housewives of D.C."

Of course, the show got cancelled after just one season. And that`s just part of tonight`s "Real Housewives" mess. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can confirm that four cast members from the New York cast just got the ax.

Tonight, we are getting the story right now about what really went down on the "Real Housewives of New York."

Joining me in New York for an exclusive SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview, Cindy Barshop, who was just let go from the "Real Housewives of New York."

It`s great to have you here, Cindy. I`m sorry about the news. I assume - you know, nobody likes to lose a job. And I want to get your take on all the drama on the Salahis in just a moment.

CINDY BARSHOP, FORMER CAST MEMBER, "REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW YORK": OK.

HAMMER: But first, let`s set the record straight on your own personal drama. Were you blindsided by the fact that you`re not being asked back on the show?

BARSHOP: No, I wasn`t. By the end of the show during like the finale, everybody was not getting along to a major degree. So at this point, it was like hard to film together. So -

HAMMER: But isn`t that exactly what the show is supposed to be?

BARSHOP: Yes. But when you start hitting below the belt - some of the girls were hitting below the belt - you don`t want to go to the same, you know, charity events, and so on and so forth. So how could we film together if we cannot be together?

HAMMER: So it`s kind of a poisonous atmosphere.

BARSHOP: Yes, it was.

HAMMER: It`s not surprising to you at all that it happened. And it wasn`t just you. There`s Jill and Kelly and Alex, also dumped by Bravo.

BARSHOP: Dumped -

HAMMER: And that`s actually a question. Were you actually fired from the show or just not renewed? Because I think there`s a distinction.

BARSHOP: There is. I think we weren`t renewed, but I also think that - you know, for me, it was a great opportunity now.

HAMMER: Sure.

BARSHOP: You know, I have my spas. I`m also doing a lot of different charity work. So it was a great platform for me to kind of go to another level, so all the women are going to be doing the same thing.

HAMMER: Yes. What are the other women saying to you who were also let go from the show?

BARSHOP: Nobody likes the "no," but the point is, it`s always an opportunity to do something different, something better, something - you know, for me, it`s like in the beauty world. I`m going to be doing different things on TV for them. You know, maybe the Squeeze Couture or something.

HAMMER: Yes.

BARSHOP: But everybody has different opportunities now.

HAMMER: Your colleague, Jill Zarin, was here last week on the show.

BARSHOP: Right.

HAMMER: She wasn`t able to say anything for certain on air at that time.

BARSHOP: But we knew.

HAMMER: I could kind of tell what was going on, but at the same time, she didn`t seem all that upset about it and was ready to move on to other things.

I do want to circle back to what`s going on with the Salahis and Michaele Salahi running off with a guitarist from Journey.

BARSHOP: Right.

HAMMER: Now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT did confirm today that her husband, Tareq, has filed for divorce. Let me go to Rachel Zalis. Rachel is a contributing editor for "Life and Style Weekly."

Rachel, you know, I`m listening to this whole story. And I have to tell you, it is better than any storyline we actually saw on "Real Housewives of D.C." Wouldn`t you agree?

ZALIS: It the best. I mean, it`s almost like the rebirth of Heidi and Spencer. It`s kind of like, what would these people do for press?

I mean, if they only did this on the show, it wouldn`t have been such a snore fest. But I think this Neal Schon guy is giving rockers a bad name, like who runs off with a middle-aged housewife? It`s so bizarre.

HAMMER: Yes. But he made up for it, Rachel, by allegedly taking a picture of his "guitar" and E-mailing it.

ZALIS: That`s right.

HAMMER: You know, you can certainly understand why Tareq is upset and feeling humiliated. But I think Neal Schon is upholding the rock `n` roll legend standard, no?

ZALIS: Yes. I guess that`s true. I mean, the whole story is absolutely bizarre. I mean, it`s like, "I didn`t embarrass myself enough by crashing the White House or being on `Real Housewives of D.C.` What can I do to really, like, get the drama going?"

BARSHOP: Careful.

ZALIS: And lose all my money - and lose all my money while I`m at it.

HAMMER: And here`s the thing - when SHOWBIZ TONIGHT first learned that Michaele`s husband, Tareq, told police that he thought that Michaele was kidnapped, you know, we`re all sitting around saying, oh, this has got to be a publicity stunt.

I mean, it felt very balloon boy to me. Well, just today, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained a picture of Michaele rocking out on Saturday night - there she is - at a Journey concert in Tampa.

Clearly, she`s unbothered by everything that`s going on in the media. Tareq has officially filed for divorce. So Cindy, now that we`re seeing this, are you pretty well convinced this is the real deal, that it isn`t a publicity stunt? I mean, they`re taking it to this level.

BARSHOP: I don`t think - right. I don`t think it`s a publicity stunt. I think this is her life and this is how she leads it. I`m just glad she`s happy right now. So it looked like she needed to get away from that man.

HAMMER: But shouldn`t this be the reality show? I mean, honest to goodness, this is exactly what you guys fight for -

BARSHOP: Maybe it`s getting picked up -

HAMMER: On these shows.

BARSHOP: Maybe it`s getting picked up. Maybe it`s going to get picked up and she`s going to get a second chance.

HAMMER: All right. Rachel Zalis, what do you think? I mean, are we way past even considering the fact that this may have been a publicity stunt all along?

ZALIS: I don`t know. I was a little unsure, but I love how diplomatic Cindy is about it. But I don`t put anything past those people, to tell you the truth. But I`m sure we will be seeing the Michaele and Neal reality show coming very shortly.

BARSHOP: Unless we have Journey coming out with a new album. Maybe it is a publicity stunt.

(CROSS TALK)

ZALIS: That`s true.

HAMMER: Well, Journey certainly is on concert tour right now.

ZALIS: Good point.

HAMMER: I`m sure they haven`t suffered from the extra little bit of attention. How often is Journey in the news after all unless "Don`t Stop Believing" is on "Glee" or the "Sopranos" finale.

All right. We`ll leave it there. Cindy Barshop, Rachel Zalis, thank you both.

Moving on to something that is a little mind-boggling to me tonight - people for the ethical treatment of porn? I`m talking about PETA, you know, the animal rights group.

They`re reportedly putting together an X-rated Web site all for the good animals. So what do you think? Is this a great idea or is it ridiculous? You have to hear about this.

Also, SHOWBIZ quickies on tonight`s shockers. Kirstie Alley reportedly down to a size four. That`s incredible, right? Well, not to "Project Runway`s" Tim Gunn. Tim is actually calling bull on this. Why he says she`s no size four.

Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis, real life friends with benefits? Well, tonight, J.T. and Mila are setting the record straight. So what`s the deal here? Do they actually sext each other? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, more SHOWBIZ at the Emmys. Julianna Margulies won the best lead actress in a drama for "The Good Wife" and told us that the show is one of the best gigs she has ever had.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JULIANNA MARGULIES, ACTRESS: It`s a dream job for me. I love the character. I love the writing. I love the supporting characters. I feel like I - truly, I said to my husband when we were on our way, "Don`t wake me up. I don`t want to wake up from this dream."

It`s a dream job. You know, it`s hard enough as an actor to get work, let alone work you love doing and that people are responding to. So it`s a win-win.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KATHY GRIFFIN, COMEDIENNE: You have to realize, for me, this is our news. This is our idea of breaking news. Seeing celebrities walk down the red carpet is fantastic. I love the show. It`s really fun. I love Jane Lynch. She did a great job. She`s very funny.

I really loved when all the girls nominated for best lead in a comedy got up and pretended like it was a beauty pageant. That was hilarious. And I like a nice, uncomfortable Charlie Sheen moment, and I got it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was there with the always funny Kathy Griffin at HBO`s annual post-Emmy Awards party. Kathy looking back at her favorite Emmy moments there. Got to say I love the beauty pageant moment as well. Very, very funny.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. Tonight, SHOWBIZ quickies. Yes, I said SHOWBIZ quickies. These are fast- moving stories breaking tonight, including Kirstie Alley and the size four flap.

Now, Kirstie has been showing off her new body after losing 100 pounds, claiming she has slimmed down to a size four. But tonight, "Project Runway" fashion king, Tim Gunn, has his guns blazing saying Kirstie isn`t as slim as she says she is.

All fired up about that, Amanda Seales, who is the host of "Music Choice." Amanda is in Hollywood tonight. Also fired-up, "Inside Edition" correspondent, Megan Alexander, who is with me in New York.

Let`s get to it. Tim Gunn doesn`t care what kind of blowback he might get on this. He is saying no way Kirstie is a size four. He`s guessing she`s more like a size eight or 10.

To be fair, Tim is also saying he thinks Kirstie looks fabulous and that he`s bashing so-called vanity sizing and not Kirstie. Megan, you`ve got less than a minute to spin it. What do you think? Was Tim out of line?

ALEXANDER: The key sentence here, A.J., is that people are too size conscious. It doesn`t matter whether you`re a size two or size 12 as long as you`re happy and healthy.

Kirstie Alley looks amazing. Ladies, join me. Tear that size tag out of your clothes and replace it with one that says, "My size is just right."

HAMMER: I agree. She does look amazing. Let me reset the clock right away. Amanda, Tim out of line?

AMANDA SEALES, HOST, "MUSIC CHOICE": I`m just saying she`s 60 years old. At this point, why are you even worrying about the size of your dress? You should really be worrying about your blood sugar. So Kirstie, you`re fine.

HAMMER: Just fine. All right. Let`s move right away to the next SHOWBIZ quickie. A new gig for The Situation? Acting. All right. We learned today that The Sitch has just gotten his first acting gig, kind of.

So did he land on a network? On cable? Well, try the Internet for the first acting gig. He`s got the lead role in a Web series which spoofs judges on TV talent show.

Put up the countdown clock, please. Megan, can you really see, say, The Sitch winning an Oscar sometime? Spin it in less than a minute.

ALEXANDER: Shakespeare this is not. However, A.J., nothing surprises me anymore. Kids at home now will watch TV and say, "Hey, I don`t need to go to Julliard or to college. I can just jump on a reality show, drink a few beers, throw up my shirt, and suddenly, I`m on a TV series." Unbelievable.

HAMMER: Glamour, not a prerequisite. Another SHOWBIZ quickie about a reported sort of quickie between Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis. They, of course, just co-starred in the film, "Friends with Benefits."

Racy pics that they reportedly sexted to each other may have been swiped from Mila`s phone in this ongoing hacking scandal.

But in the statement today to "People" magazine, they say, hey, none of it is true. In fact, they even made a reference to J.T.`s famous "Junk in a Box" skit.

Here`s what Justin and Mila`s camp are saying, "Mr. Timberlake would like us to make it clear that while he might write songs about putting things in boxes, he never has. Ms. Kunis would also like us to add that while she`s a fan of the song, she does not have, nor has ever had, photos of any male parts in her possession."

Amanda, off to you. Are you convinced? The clock is ticking.

SEALES: Yes. I mean, I`m convinced and I really love that they have, like, a sense of humor about this. What I find hilarious is that it`s not like any actual pictures leaked.

We`re just talking about the rumor that there could possibly perhaps maybe be pictures. I mean, it doesn`t take much these days to get folks excited. That`s the truth.

HAMMER: Our next SHOWBIZ quickie involves the separated but still married Courteney Cox and David Arquette. Now, here`s what we learned today.

Reportedly, they`re working together on developing a sitcom all about the ups and downs of a 10-year relationship. You know, given that they split up after 11 years of marriage, I`m guessing they got a lot of material to work from here.

Our SHOWBIZ quickie clock is up, Megan. If the show gets picked up and they`re working together every day, do you think they could wind up calling off the divorce?

ALEXANDER: Well, we`ll all be watching, because could it be therapy playing out on TV? A.J., I think this hits a little too close to home. Is it fact or is it fiction?

We`re going to be wondering as this unfolds on the television. I can`t see this getting off the ground. I`m sorry. I don`t think it will ever happen.

HAMMER: Interesting. All right. They`ve had success before as a production company. Obviously, we`ll see what happens. Megan Alexander, Amanda Seales, I thank you both.

Tonight, PETA porn? Well, I`m a champion for the humane treatment of animals, but humans fighting for animal rights with porn? Really? That is certainly some sexy activism, but will this XXX plan actually work? Or is it ridiculous? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Now, it`s SHOWBIZ at the Emmys. What the stars told us on Sunday night on the red carpet. Martin Scorsese won his very first Emmy for HBO`s "Boardwalk Empire." You`ve got to check out what the Oscar-winning director told us about winning the Emmy for best director for a drama series.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MARTIN SCORSESE, OSCAR AND EMMY-WINNING DIRECTOR: I must say it is something I really never dreamed of. It`s a different medium in a way. Although we approach "Broadway Empire" as a film, a very long film, but a film, it`s just as exciting. It`s quite extraordinary.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. SHOWBIZ trending tonight - people for the ethical treatment of porn?

Yes, that`s right. PETA is now pushing for the ethical treatment of animals through porn. PETA reportedly plans to start a XXX Web site to promote veganism. They`re going to get some attention that way, right?

Back with me tonight from Hollywood, "Music Choice`s" Amanda Seales.

So Amanda, obviously, it`s not the first time that PETA has gone to an extreme to fight for animal rights. You know, take for example the sexy ad that they just shot with George Clooney`s ex, Elisabetta Canalis, in the buff.

But Amanda, I`m thinking, a porn site? I don`t know. Is this ridiculous to you? It seems a little nutty to me.

SEALES: Yes, completely ridiculous. It doesn`t make any legitimate sense, the correlation between PETA and porn. Like, is Amnesty International going to start, like, a dating site?

I don`t understand the correlation. And then, it`s to promote, like, veganism as well. Are there going to be vegans in this porn? Because vegans are usually very, very skinny. And I don`t know if that`s necessarily the best subjects for porn. I`m just saying.

HAMMER: You know, there`s got to be vegan porn stars out there. But in all seriousness, I can see how they`re using something that obviously captures lots of people`s attention.

Let`s face it. Porn pretty popular. PETA has reportedly said the site is going to include content appropriately fitting of a porn site. And it`s also going to have graphic images of animals.

So very quickly, tell me what you think. They want to turn you off while turning you on. I don`t get it.

SEALES: This is like people who say they read the articles in "Playboy," you know? I don`t buy it. I think that, once again, PETA has had a history of doing very outrageous things. I mean, this is their thing.

HAMMER: All right. Do me a favor, Amanda. When they get this thing up and running, you visit us and check back. Visit the site and check back with us. Amanda Seales, thank you very much.

Got to move on now to a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT "Footloose" exclusive. Check out a very young Kevin Bacon. This is his screen test for the 1984 film, "Footloose." You have never seen a movie like this before. The exclusive first look coming your way next on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KEVIN BACON, ACTOR: They wanted to have me try on a bunch of different clothes and come out and see what the clothes looked like. That was all cut to music. That was the hair cut they gave me. They called a guy and it cost $1,500. Totally blew my mind.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: This flashback is just blowing my mind. It`s a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT "Footloose" exclusive. Can you believe it? It`s been 27 years since the original movie starring a very young Kevin Bacon hit theaters.

Well, "Footloose" is coming out on Blu Ray on September 27th with some truly fantastic, never-before-seen behind-the-scenes extras. And of course, this is just before the new "Footloose" remake hits theaters next month.

And that is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thanks for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. You can always catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusively Monday through Friday at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific here on HLN.

"DR. DREW" is next. Tonight, the Coronado murder mystery. Dr. Drew sitting down with Rebecca Zahau`s family and attorney. And was her death a suicide? "DR. DREW" on HLN starts right now.
