(MUSIC)

Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with big news breaking tonight - true star confessions.

Brand-new secrets of the stars just revealed that are having a remarkable impact on everything from the battle to stop gay teens from being bullied to the battle against breast cancer.

There were brand-new revelations today from reality show star and "E!" host, Giuliana Rancic, about her brave decision to reveal she has breast cancer because she says she wants to inspire others.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

G. RANCIC: I`ve been keeping it a secret from a lot of very dear friends and - you know, for a while now. So it`s just nice to finally get it out there and not hide anymore.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: And on the same day Giuliana revealed her secret, Zachary Quinto, who played Mr. Spock, in the latest "Star Trek" movie, let the world know about his secret that he`s gay because he says he, too, wants to inspire others.

And that inspired an ABC News anchor to reveal live on the air that he, too, is gay. We`re about to show you that dramatic television moment. But first, I want to get to Giuliana`s breast cancer confession.

Joining for me for that tonight in New York, Attorney and TV host, Lauren Lake. From Atlanta, HLN anchor Richelle Carey, who, of course, is seen every afternoon right here on HLN.

I have to say I was so completely moved seeing Giuliana and Bill sitting together on "E!" last night, because this is the first time that we got to see the two of them together since Giuliana made her really stunning confession live on the "Today" show that she`s battling breast cancer.

I thought Bill`s positive outlook on the whole situation is exactly what Giuliana needs right now. You`ve got to watch what they said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BILL RANCIC, REALITY TV STAR: Without, you know, that clinic, we wouldn`t have - she wouldn`t have gotten tested. So in the end, you know, we have embryos sitting in ice in Denver, ready and waiting.

When one of those kids is born, they`re going to be spoiled rotten because they`re going to hang over Giuliana`s head that he or she saved her life.

G. RANCIC: It`s true.

B. RANCIC: It`s 100 percent treatable when you catch it early.

G. RANCIC: Bill`s been amazing beyond anything I could have ever expected. He just lets me feel whatever I`m feeling. And so I cry and cry and cry and suddenly when he gets a laugh out of me, then he, like, keeps me laughing. What`s amazing is - you were going to say something.

B. RANCIC: No. I was going to say she`s a fighter. You fought to get me, honey. Proud of you, honey.

G. RANCIC: Thanks, hon. Love you.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Such a stunning confession. I really like the two of them. I`m so happy they have the support for each other.

But Lauren, do you think Giuliana even has any idea the impact that she is going to have on women and men by letting them follow along with her battle and her journey here?

LAUREN LAKE, ATTORNEY AND TV HOST: I think she could not imagine the impact that she will have. I lost my mother to breast cancer in 2006 and I`ll tell you the diagnosis, a very scary time. You`re almost numb.

But I think what Giuliana is doing is she`s just following her gut and her heart that says, "Be open and be authentic."

And years later, I`m telling thousands of women can be saved, and men - men suffer from breast cancer as well - can be saved because of her openness. It`s very courageous.

HAMMER: And I think the fact that she`s such a young woman will reach so many young people who don`t really think a lot about these things. She`s only 37 years old.

Giuliana also confessed going public with this was very hard for her. And she actually had some reservations about doing it at all. I want you to watch what she said on "E!" as she revealed for the very first time what went into her decision.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

G. RANCIC: The decision to go public was a very difficult one. There was definitely a long period of time where I thought I`m going to hide this from everyone. I really don`t need to tell everyone.

And then, as time went by, I would see friends of mine that didn`t know and would think, "God, I wish I could let her know what I`m going through so that she goes and gets checked.

And then, that turned into, "Gosh, I wish I could let viewers know so they go get checked." I`m sort of realizing, you know, I could be an example for women not to just be aware of breast cancer, but act on it, to make an appointment, to give themselves an exam.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: And what`s amazing to me is that Giuliana was already helping women everywhere after she went public on her reality show with her battle to have a baby.

She tried in vitro three times without any success. Richelle, I have got to believe this latest confession about her cancer battle has to be a huge wake-up call to so many of her fans.

RICHELLE CAREY, HLN ANCHOR: Absolutely. And I think that you just said something really key, A.J. I think that she`s in a unique position to help so many people, because so many viewers and women already feel connected to her because she`s been so open about her challenges, her challenge to have a child.

There are so many women that already feel like, "You know what, when I have a child I wonder if I can." So they`ve been following Giuliana as she`s been so open about that whether they watch her show or not.

So the next logical step is to feel connected to her on this next scary journey that`s she`s on. So she is in a position to tell women, "You know what, this is what I`m going through now. This is the step I`m taking. Take this step with me." She is helping so many people that watch her and that don`t watch her.

HAMMER: Yes.

CAREY: Years from now people are going to come up to her and say, "Thank you for doing this."

HAMMER: Sure. There are people hearing about her perhaps for the first time as many fans that she may have. And having gotten to know Giuliana a bit over the past few years, I have to say, in the end, I`m not at all surprised by her decision.

And Giuliana, my hat`s off to you and I wish you nothing but the best in this journey that you have ahead.

Right now, I do want to move on, however, to another stunning star confession. This comes from "Star Trek" star, Zachary Quinto. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was there last night at the red carpet premiere for his new movie called "Margin Call."

Now, earlier in the day, we have learned the news that he had gone public with the fact that he`s gay. And for the first time, Zachary was able to tell us how he`s been feeling since his very public coming out. Watch what he said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

QUINTO: I feel incredible. I feel nothing but support and encouragement from literally all over the world, which is kind of staggering to me and something that I didn`t really expect.

But I feel enormously grateful, you know, to the people who have responded and to everybody else that`s taken this journey before I did. You know, it`s an incredibly personal thing.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: And it`s important to remember that Zachary took on this very personal thing, deciding to come out after hearing about the recent suicide of a gay teenager who was a victim of bullying.

So Lauren, I actually don`t think that it should come as any surprise Zachary is getting this immense and global support because the motivation was just so pure and wonderful.

LAKE: Kudos to him for just choosing to be authentic, putting his fears aside and saying, "I`m going to be courageous." And his courage is contagious.

It`s absolutely wonderful to see people just be authentic, own who they are and say, "You know what? I am who I am. Love me or leave me."

HAMMER: Yes. And it is contagious. He wants to inspire others. Well, that`s exactly what he`s doing. That`s what happened in really the most unexpected way. This was on live national television.

ABC News anchor Dan Kloeffler was reporting the story about Zachary coming out when he made his own revelation on live TV that he is gay. Kloeffler did it while he was cracking a joke about wanting to date the "Star Trek" actor. Watch what went down.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DAN KLOEFFLER, ABC NEWS ANCHOR: Zachary Quinto, who played Spock in "Star Trek" - he came out in a very nonchalant way. He was doing an article for "New York" magazine.

He said the reason why he came out was the fact that - he was inspired by a young boy that had committed suicide. He was gay.

He made an "It Gets Better" video and Zachary said that that is really what encouraged him to say, "You know what, as a gay man I need to come out and live proud and strong," which is very nice to see. Plus, he`s 34. I`m 35. I`m thinking, I can lose my distraction about dating actors right about now.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: And there you go. He kind of slid that in there, Richelle. Look, here you are on live TV, every single day on HLN. When you see Dan doing such a brave thing like that, what goes through your mind?

CAREY: About once a month, I ask Bradley Cooper on air to call me, call me, all the time. So I say, go for it, Dan. Go for it. And he was just being himself.

And I think he just decided I`m going to seize the moment to be myself. And he just stopped holding back. And as Lauren said, he was being authentic and bravo for that. Bravo for that. Again, Bradley, call me. Call me.

HAMMER: We`ll see what we can do on that. All right. For now, we`ll leave it there. Lauren lake, Richelle Carey, I thank you both.

And we move on to a caught-on-tape moment from Shia LaBeouf beaten down. The "Transformers" star gets a total smack-down. I can tell you, unfortunately, his robot friends - they weren`t there to help him.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Man, what the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) are you doing?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop. Stop. Look at me. (EXPLETIVE DELETED).

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Shia in another brawl all caught on tape. I`ve got to ask, is his reputation about to take a beating, too?

Stars in danger. Selena Gomez living in fear after a stalker threatens her life. Tonight, I`m going to tell you what Selena is doing to keep her stalker at bay.

And Susan Sarandon`s big foot-in-mouth moment. Did she really call the pope a Nazi? The Oscar winner under fire today. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

TEXT: Twenty-seven-year-old man jailed for stalking Halle Berry ordered to stand trial. "Jersey Shore" star, Deena Cortese tells "Today" she is not embarrassed by her behavior on the show.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DEENA CORTESE, REALITY TV STAR, "JERSEY SHORE": I don`t get embarrassed anymore at this point. You know, like, when you`re there, you drink. We have a good time. Down the shore I do that, like - but that`s me.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. Tonight, Susan Sarandon under fire.

The Oscar winner is famous for pulling no punches and being very passionate about her politics. But why in the world did she fling a Nazi insult at the pope?

Well, Susan just called Pope Benedict a Nazi, not once, but twice, while she was giving a talk in the Hamptons.

Now, it`s no surprise that Catholic and Jewish groups are furious. The Catholic League of America is saying that Sarandon`s Nazi remarks are positively obscene.

The league`s president, Bill Donahue, joins me right now in New York. All right, Bill. It`s always good to see you.

I know you`re fired up about this. What was your reaction when you first heard these marks that Susan Sarandon made referring to the pope as a Nazi?

BILL DONAHUE, PRESIDENT, CATHOLIC LEAGUE OF AMERICA: You know, if it`s a matter of ignorance, that can be corrected through education, but I`m not that sure it is.

Look, when the pope was - Joseph Ratzinger was made pope in 2005, Rabbi David Rosen of the inter-religious affairs of the American Jewish Committee said it was rubbish that the guy was a Nazi.

But why did he say that and why did he welcome him like most people in the Jewish community? Because at the age of 14, in Germany, under Hitler, you were conscripted. It was mandatory. It was compulsive to join Hitler youth.

Now, what most people don`t know is that Joseph Ratzinger never went to meetings, created economic hardship for his parents and he deserted at the first opportunity. So for her to call this man, who has fought Nazis, who has been a great friend to the Jewish community, a Nazi - I mean, I just find that obscene.

HAMMER: Well, the Anti-Defamation League is feeling the same way. They`re demanding an apology from Susan Sarandon.

I want to read the statement that they issued. They say, "We hope that Susan Sarandon will have the good sense to apologize to the Catholic community and all those she may have offended with this disturbing, deeply offensive and completely uncalled for attack on the good name of Pope Benedict XVI."

Ms. Sarandon may have her differences with the Catholic Church, but that is no excuse for throwing around Nazi analogies."

What, in your mind, Bill, does Susan Sarandon need to do right now to make this right? Will an apology work for you, guys?

DONAHUE: It won`t work for me because I think it was deep-seated. I think it was visceral. I think it was meant to hurt. But as far as A. Foxman in ADL - I commend him for speaking out.

It cheapens the term Nazi. When you apply that vicious term, it should be applied to vicious people who are real-life Nazis, some of whom are still alive in the world today, not to somebody because you dislike him. But as far as I`m concerned, it`s too late for her, for me personally.

HAMMER: Right.

DONAHUE: But I can`t speak for all Catholics or Jews.

HAMMER: Surprising to me because Susan Sarandon - she sure is passionate about politics, as I said, and speaks her mind. But she also chooses her words carefully. Does that make it more shocking that this came from her?

DONAHUE: If it was at a county fair in the Midwest, I don`t think she wouldn`t have said it. But she said it to her Tony friends out at the Hamptons.

And I`m sorry. There is anti-Catholicism in this country. She found a receptive audience. And that`s why she said it, not once but twice, and got some laughter out of it. That`s also disgusting.

HAMMER: Well, that is - if that is what happened. And certainly I don`t think we`ve heard the last word. Bill Donahue, thanks. I appreciate your insight on this.

DONAHUE: Thank you so much.

HAMMER: Moving on now to the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines which have been ringing nonstop. We have a lot of people calling in about reality star Giuliana Rancic`s breast cancer revelations.

A phone call came in to "Showbiz on Call" that I want to play for you from Jane who`s sending Giuliana her thoughts.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

JANE, CALLER FROM OHIO: I felt very bad when I heard she was diagnosed with breast cancer. I heard she caught it in the early stages and she will need a biopsy done. And they`ll have to remove it and give her six weeks of chemotherapy.

I hope she does well. I wish her the best. And I`m glad they caught it early so this way, hopefully, everything will go well. I wish her the best. She`s a beautiful woman. And I wish her well.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Thank you, Jane. Give us a buzz at "Showbiz on Call" to let us know what`s on your mind. Our phone lines are always open - 1-888-SBT- BUZZ. That`s 1-888-728-2899. Leave us a voicemail. We`d love to play your call right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

We are loving "Cosby Show" alum Malcolm Jamal Warner in his return to TV on "Read Between the Lines," Tuesday nights on BET.

We have got a sweet tooth for the 40th anniversary ultimate collector`s edition of "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory." It`s out on Blu Ray and DVD today and just in time for Halloween.

The spooky new FX show, "American Horror Story," has us screaming for more.

And why wait for Christmas when you can have "CAPTAIN AMERICA" on Blu- Ray and DVD October 25th?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: There`s a lot of people involved in making a suit. We worked very hard on it. Finally, they got it where they wanted it.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: This is the best suit I`ve seen. The first time putting it on, you think this is kind of cool. Captain America.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She`s (EXPLETIVE DELETED) out of her mind.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: No, she`s not. You don`t know that. Watch your mouth. You do not know that.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You watch your (EXPLETIVE DELETED) mouth. Don`t talk about my children.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You have no class. You`re trashy and you`re classless.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Seriously, you`re a bitch. (EXPLETIVE DELETED) off.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Here we go again. Another "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" brawl. But this time, it`s not between Kyle and Camille. It`s Kyle facing off with new housewife, Brandi Glanville.

Brandi is accusing Kyle`s sister, Kim, of doing crystal meth in the bathroom. And I can tell you things got really ugly after that.

It was the not to be missed face-off between Brandi Glanville and Richards sisters on last night`s "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Things got so bad it nearly came to fisticuffs.

The ladies got together for an innocent game night. And let`s just say that Kim and Kyle weren`t fans of Brandi to begin with. The sisters slammed Brandi for letting her son pee in the yard at a pool party.

Brandi decided to accuse Kim of doing meth in the bathroom. Let the games begin.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: If you attack my sister, don`t expect me not to be honest with you.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You were a bitch. She was being a bitch. Hello.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She`s not a bitch.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: All right. Then, you know what? You`re the queen of England and we`re all trailer park compared to you.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: No, you`re the only one in here like that.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: All right. All right. At least I don`t do crystal meth in the bathroom all night long.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Bitch.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You know what, Brandi, let me tell you something. You do not (EXPLETIVE DELETED) -

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Walk the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) away.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Don`t talk about my baby.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Go with my kids -

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: My sister - don`t ever talk like her about that again. You know nothing about her. You`ve never even met her.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, no. I didn`t. You`re right. I didn`t meet her.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Don`t talk like that. Do not say -

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Don`t point your (EXPLETIVE DELETED) finger in my face -

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You`re going to get my (EXPLETIVE DELETED) finger in your face, too.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. We`ve got big news breaking tonight - we`ve got stars in danger.

Shia LaBeouf`s smack-down. The actor got in an all-out brawl outside of a nightclub in Vancouver. It was all caught on tape. Wait until you see this shocking video.

And terrifying news for Selena Gomez. Today, she was granted a restraining order against 46-year-old stalker who police say threatened to kill her. We`ve got all those shocking details.

And is it game over for Michael Jackson`s doctor, Conrad Murray? Well, there`s a brand-new toxicology report out today that could very well blow the lid off Dr. Murray`s defense.

Joining me right now in New York, Lauren Lake, who is a TV host, lawyer and author. Also right now, in New York, Michael Billy, who is a TV and radio host.

Let me begin with this outrageous, brand-new Shia LaBeouf caught-on- tape fight. You`ve got to check this out - some guy repeatedly punching Shia in the head just outside a Vancouver nightclub after they both got kicked out of the club.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Hey, hey, hey, hey. Yo, man. What the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) are you doing?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What the (EXPLETIVE DELETED), man.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop. Stop.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Better lay low. Better lay low right now.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Shia is in town right now, shooting a movie called "The Company You Keep." Lauren, I`m thinking the company that Shia is keeping these days is really going to beat down his reputation.

LAKE: Absolutely. Stars especially have to be so careful with who they surround themselves with. I can`t tell you how many times where I`ve represented people where the fight starts or the arguments starts or the altercation begins with people outside of themselves and then it ends up falling upon them.

And I think, at this point, he needs to really watch where he`s hanging and who he`s hanging with, because he`s not getting good results.

HAMMER: Yes. And I`ve talked to a lot of stars who say, "You know what? I just want to live my life and do what normal people do." You can`t.

LAKE: Right.

HAMMER: You can`t. It`s the price you pay, sad as that may be to some of them. Not the first time, by the way, Shia`s been in trouble. I want to roll out the SHOWBIZ news line.

Look at this, November 2007 - Shia arrested at a Chicago Walgreen`s while shooting a movie. He was arrested for trespassing there. Then, in July 2008, arrested for drunk driving and smashing into another car.

And just this February, Shia got into a different brawl at a bar. He was arrested in Hollywood. And I`m thinking directors might start thinking of Shia more as a liability than as a good actor.

And he is a talented, good actor. But Michael, do you think this could start really damaging his reputation?

MICHAEL BILLY, TV AND RADIO HOST: Yes. Yes. I think through line here is the drinking constantly. I mean, we can say - I`m going to allege that that`s obviously the issue here with him.

He`s a very talented, good looking actor, hanging out with the wrong people. There`s lots of warning signs. One, fighting with a guy without a shirt. Two, a guy in crutches breaking up your fight. Three, fighting in Canada. Aren`t they the most peaceful people on earth?

HAMMER: Yes, really.

BILLY: My goodness.

HAMMER: He is an American, so maybe, you know, that`s the reason for it. Shia, we like you a lot. We think you`re talented. We would like to see you do well and do good things. Take that for what you will.

But right now, I`m going to move on to another disturbing story of stars in danger. This one bothers me so much. But again, it comes with the territory for so many stars.

Nineteen-year-old Disney star, Selena Gomez, granted a restraining order today against a 46-year-old man. This guy has a history of mental illness. He has been threatening to kill her. Selena says she`s living in, as she puts it, extreme fear because of this jerk.

Lauren, you`re a lawyer. You`ve seen this all before. Restraining orders are important. But really, are they enough to protect somebody like Selena in a case like this?

LAKE: If we`re being very honest, not always. And it`s a very scary situation for anyone especially a young girl. She definitely needs to have her own private security in place, take this very seriously.

And fortunately she`s doing what she can under the law, but it`s not foolproof. She has to protect herself as well.

HAMMER: And Selena is not unfamiliar to threats. They just have never been this serious before. Selena got an awful lot of heat and even some online threats when her romance with Justin Bieber went public.

But this takes this obviously to a whole new level. Michael, if you were in Selena`s inner circle, what kind of advice would you be giving her in how to best deal with something like this?

BILLY: Social networking takes this to a whole other level. Celebrity stalking has always been a problem. But now, when celebs show up somewhere, the owners of bars and restaurants want to check them in on Facebook that they`re there.

So that kind of awareness of social networking really limiting yourself to what you put out on Twitter and where you are in location is really an important thing for all celebrities to keep in mind.

HAMMER: And if you tweet your own pictures, make sure it doesn`t have the little stamp on it that it tells people where you are.

BILLY: Exactly.

LAKE: Exactly.

BILLY: Exactly.

HAMMER: Because a lot of people do not realize if you don`t disable that on your phone, that`s going to geo-stamp that photo and that tells people where you are the moment you send that out if you`re still in that place.

All right. Let`s move on to some more big news breaking today. A lot of people are wondering, is it game over for Conrad Murray? Now, there`s a brand-new toxicology report today that just might blow Murray`s defense out of the water.

I want to listen to what Murray`s lead defense attorney, Ed Chernoff, said in his opening statements. This has become a big defense of Conrad Murray over the last few weeks. Listen to this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ED CHERNOFF, CONRAD MURRAY`S LEAD DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Michael Jackson swallowed while up and about in other rooms and the bathroom up to eight pills on his own without telling his doctor, without permission from his doctor.

And when Dr. Murray gave him the 25 milligrams and Dr. Murray left the room, Michael Jackson self-administered a dose, an additional dose of propofol.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. Let me remind you, that was back at the very beginning of this case. Now, there`s this new toxicology report the prosecution wants to bring before the jury that shows that Michael Jackson had a lot less lorazepam in his system than the eight pills the defense was saying Michael may have taken.

Lauren, when you hear that - and the prosecution has done a fine job laying out their case, everybody I think is in agreement on that. But when you see this, do you think maybe it is game over for Dr. Murray?

LAKE: Absolutely not. The defense has not put on their case yet. As a defense attorney, I mean, I have to be honest, most cases look this way when the prosecution gets done putting on their case.

But the defense will have its own experts and I`m sure they will have a way, a theory to explain away those findings.

HAMMER: But their plans are being foiled. That`s the thing. And again, you`ve seen this all before. Have you ever seen something really refuting what the defense was lining up in such a massive way?

LAKE: All I can say is if Casey Anthony was acquitted and people smelled a dead body in her trunk, anything can happen.

HAMMER: I suppose you`re right.

LAKE: And people need to understand that the case is not finished until the defense attorneys say it is.

HAMMER: All right. Michael Billy, let me get you take as the casual observer of this case. You`re watching it at home on TV like our viewers live right here on HLN. We`re getting ready for the trial to resume.

Do you see this and think, "How is the defense going to work themselves out of this?"

BILLY: Well, purely from the spectator`s point of view, the defense is purely unlikable to begin with, one. And the prosecution looks like they have hard scientific evidence going against the defense, OK?

So that`s what I have to disagree with, because the defense blocked themselves into a corner by stipulating and saying so many different stories. The lorazepam, that he took his own amount of propofol.

They changed their stories several many times. To us, the public, it doesn`t look good for the defense no matter what way you got it.

HAMMER: Did you see Lauren Lake giving you the evil eye?

BILLY: I did, and I didn`t want to look at her. I didn`t want to look at her.

LAKE: I look evil?

HAMMER: Yes or no, I am guessing your answer is no. Should Murray be copping a plea at this point?

LAKE: They didn`t offer him one.

HAMMER: Or should he be striking a plea or any kind of a deal?

LAKE: They didn`t offer him one.

HAMMER: They can`t do that. OK. Roll out the (UNINTELLIGIBLE). Lauren Lake, Michael Billy, thank you both.

As we move on, I must tell you something about myself that really only a few people who make me want to throw my hands up and scream when I hear their name. One is my stage manager, Jay Conroy.

The other is octumom. Tonight, octumom pregnant again and covered in blood? The octumom`s bloody film debut revealed tonight.

Bill Clinton has always counted on a little help from his Hollywood friends. He`s going way back to his White House days. But this time, I`m not sure the word "help" really applies.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

STILLER: We were thinking every foundation should have a theme song.

BLACK (singing): A decade of difference is a whole lot of difference. It`s 10 whole years difference.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Got to see this side splitting "Funny or Die" video featuring some of the biggest stars volunteering for the Clinton Foundation. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

STILLER: So you`re saying - so you`re saying. What are you saying?

KRISTEN WIIG, ACTRESS: Every time we exhale, we release carbons into the atmosphere. So what if everyone in the world holds their breath for one minute every day?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I think that`s just freaking hilarious. The brand-new "Funny or Die" video for the Clinton Foundation. And this thing is packed with star power as you see. You`ve got Kristen Wiig and Ben Stiller.

You also have Sean Penn, Matt Damon, even Jack Black and the big man himself, Bill Clinton, making an appearance in this. We`ve got more of this brilliant video for you. You must stay right here.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. Tonight, SHOWBIZ viral videos. And I`ve got to get to the insanely funny video for the Clinton Foundation, and I will in just a second.

But there is another hilarious viral video that has us all on the floor. It`s not supposed to be funny. I`ve been waiting to show this to you all day.

The octumom, Nadya Suleman, landed the lead in an ultra-campy, ultra- low-budget horror flick. That`s right. You have the octumom playing a woman, pregnant, with a demon baby. This video is blowing up on the Web.

Comedian John Fugelsang is in Hollywood tonight. I`m so glad that John found some time to break away from his new and very fine "Sexy Liberal" tour to join me. Yes, that is the name of the new comedy tour. Great to see you, my friend.

JOHN FUGELSANG, COMEDIAN: A.J., the last time you and I were on TV together, VH1 was still playing music. It`s good to see you.

HAMMER: That`s true. So it has been some time. So let`s get to this night of viral videos, because I can`t wait to show everybody this one.

It`s brand-new featuring, yes, the octumom. This could quite possibly be one of the lowest budget horror flicks of all time. It`s called "Millennium" and you have to see it. Let`s roll it.

(VIDEO OF "MILLENNIUM" STARRING NADYA SULEMAN)

I actually think I could die now and my life would be complete, John. So here you have the real life mother of 14, pregnant with a demon spawn.

And Nadya Suleman, the octumom, actually just released a statement about this big new role of hers. I`d like to read it to you.

She says, "There are very similar characteristics between my character, Vanessa, and myself and which has made it easier to prepare for my role."

And John, I will leave it to you to take a stab at what those similarities are.

FUGELSANG: Well, I think the biggest similarity is that Nadya Suleman was also impregnated by a demon. It was just a very bad fertility doctor.

But the point of the film is - the plot is this woman is impregnated by Satan. And in the end, she gives birth to a baby and the baby winds up being Jon Gosselin. So it kind of all comes full circle in a way.

HAMMER: Yes. It has all the reality show tie-in. That`s perfect. Listen, while the octumom is channeling her inner demon for this new horror flick, I want to move to this, as much as I could really stay with the octumom demon spawn all day.

FUGELSANG: There`s so much to say about it, you know.

HAMMER: Yes. We have Hollywood heavyweights though who are getting wickedly funny for the Bill Clinton Foundation. It`s a great new viral video with Ben Stiller and Sean Penn, a bunch of other A-listers.

And what are they doing? Well, they`re fighting over ideas that they want to pitch to Bill Clinton, but what`s the big idea that takes the day? How about Sean Penn`s initiative to make sure no one steals his lunch from the pantry? Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SEAN PENN, ACTOR: It`s very simple initiative whereby people do not steal my lunch from the break room fridge. That`s specifically why I put my name on the bag. Simple initiative.

STILLER: Who`s taking Sean`s sandwiches? The fact he has to make up a flier saying, "Stop stealing my sandwiches."

KEVIN SPACEY, ACTOR: I don`t want any of you to leave that office until you have all those great initiatives fully mapped out and worked out. You understand me?

STILLER: There`s a lock on the door. We`re not going anywhere. We`re on it. We are on it, sir.

SPACEY: Well, listen, I got to run and give this speech. But I`ll check back with you in a couple hours to see how you`re all doing. I`m so proud of you guys. You`re my little celebrity army.

STILLER: Thank you, Mr. President. God bless you and God bless America.

BILL CLINTON, FORMER UNITED STATES PRESIDENT: Kevin, what did I tell you about making prank calls in my office?

SPACEY: Not to do it.

CLINTON: Not to do it without me. You hungry?

BLACK (singing): The Clinton Foundation fighting global issues. Their business-oriented solutions. The Clinton Foundation is the best one in the world. Yes!

You know, I`ve got the whole - it gets better.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Bill Clinton stole Sean Penn`s lunch. I knew it. John, were you at all surprised to see the president making a cameo like this?

FUGELSANG: No, I love when Bill Clinton ate Bob Dole`s lunch back in `96. Bill Clinton actually did a parody video with Kevin Spacey before he left the White House, so it`s not new for him.

I was pleased to see Sean Penn in the video, because, last year, I went to his relief camp. I was in Haiti playing for the troops.

And the fact is the Clinton Global Initiative has raised so much money in the business community to open factories in Haiti to create jobs.

So I like the video because it really shows a lot of the positive work he`s doing. My only regret is Shia LaBeouf wasn`t in it because he was getting beat up by some angry Indiana Jones fans.

HAMMER: Yes. I know and there would be great press for that today. But this video is hopefully going to get some much-needed attention for Clinton`s foundation and the good work they`re doing.

John, always great to see you, my friend. John performing in L.A. right now. It`s the "Sexy Liberal" comedy tour. For more information, go to "SexyLiberal.com" and check it out if you can.

FUGELSANG: I play the role of tour. I`m not the sexy one. Don`t worry.

HAMMER: That`s what I figured. All right. We`ve got to move on to Britney`s criminal drama tonight. Britney Spears sparking an international incident while filming her new video.

She got darn near run out of the U.K. But Brit is back home now and she just released her smoking hot video.

(MUSIC)

We have got more on the controversy and your SHOWBIZ first look. You cannot miss Britney`s criminal video, next.

Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

TEXT: Actress Viola Davis and her husband adopt a baby girl. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon show off their twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

HAMMER: Now, Hollywood`s A-list. Kevin Spacey stars in the amazing new movie, "Margin Call." It is a ripped-from-the-headlines drama about the 2008 financial collapse.

But if you think it`s all about greedy Wall Streeters, well, you`re dead wrong. Kevin just told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT at a New York screening of "Margin Call" you might come out of the movie with a new perspective about those finance guys.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SPACEY: I hope if people do go and see it, they`ll realize that we just tried to make a film that humanizes a situation of characters that have been largely dehumanized and demonized, really.

And maybe it`s always good I think when we want to point fingers and we want to feel good about having good guys and bad guys. But things are very complex in this world, and there`s a lot of human beings involved.

And some of them did good things and some of them did bad things. And we`re just trying to make it a little bit more human.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: "Margin Call" opens on Friday. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Britney`s criminal activities. Britney Spears has just released the controversial new video for her song, "Criminal."

Now, you may remember she took a lot of heat for the gun-toting theme of the video before it came out. That`s because it was filmed in a London neighborhood that was marred by a violent uprising this summer.

Officials in the U.K. were demanding that Britney apologize and even to donate cash to troubled youth. But Britney did not bow to the pressure. Here now is your SHOWBIZ first look at "Criminal."

(MUSIC)

Yes. It looks pretty good. Another interesting note about this video - that`s Brit, of course, and her real life boyfriend playing the "Bonnie and Clyde" duo there.

I`ve said it before and I will say it again, Britney looks and sounds terrific. I give her a lot of credit for making it through the fire and coming out doing so well.

We move now to Kermit, Miss Piggy, Beaker - who doesn`t love Beaker? "The Muppets" are back and we`ve got your first look at the brand-new "Muppets" movie just out today.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: You guys are so talented.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Check it out. Fart shoes.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: It`s the next epic "Muppet" adventure, and you`ll see it here next.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: I`m thinking the Generation X`ers who grew up with the "Muppets" are going to be using their kids as excuses to see Kermit and the gang when they hit the big screen again. Check out "The Muppets."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: You guys are so talented.
