(MUSIC)

Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. And wow, do we have big news breaking tonight - Kim Kardashian`s divorce.

Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is getting right to the bottom of what many suspect may have been one of the biggest publicity stunts of all-time - one of the shortest, most celebrated and clearly most profitable marriages in Hollywood history.

Now, I hold right here in my hand the divorce papers. Kim just filed these today. Yes, just 72 days after her estimated $10 million wedding. Confirming that her much-ado-about-everything wedding to Kris Humphries which aired as a two-part special on "E!" seen by millions turned out to be much-ado-about-nothing wedding.

Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT gets to all the burning questions. With me tonight from Hollywood, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter. Kareen covered the wedding.

In New York, tonight, TV and radio host, Michael Billy and Atty. Sunny Hostin from "In Session" on our sister network, Tru TV.

And Kareen, let me begin with you. You`ve been doing digging ever since the news break today. Tell us what you know so far.

KAREEN WYNTER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT: A.J., I just can`t believe - just two months after they tied the knot, two months, the whole marriage is kaput.

I was right there in beautiful Montecito for Kim Kardashian`s highly- publicized wedding to NBA star, Kris Humphries, a wedding that has now come to a screeching halt.

In a statement to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT this afternoon, Kim Kardashian says, quote, "After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don`t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best."

In divorce documents obtained today by SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Kim cites, you guess it, irreconcilable differences as a reason for the split. Kardashian is requesting that Kris pay for his own attorney and that once the divorce is final, A.J. she will not have to pay for any spousal report.

And A.J., remember, it seems like yesterday, just a few months ago, when all the buzz was about a fairytale romance and the extravagant wedding.

You know, it will be interesting to see if this divorce will play out in front of the "Keeping up with the Kardashians" reality cameras.

And you know, considering how it seems nothing is off limits with this family, hey, I wouldn`t be surprised if that actually happens.

HAMMER: Yes. Me, too. It seems to be the way things work with these guys. Already, Kareen. We`ll have to watch and find out if the cameras continue to roll in the divorce proceedings.

But this is just incredible news, because, here we are, a two-month matrimony that made Kim and Kris a whole lot of money. I mean, get this, the wedding reportedly earned the two of them around $18 million.

And that works out - I did the math on the abacus today. It works out to roughly about $250,000 a day, $10,000 an hour. Yes.

Let me bring in Sunny Hostin, legal contributor for "In Session" on Tru TV and TV and radio host Michael Billy.

You`ve got to admit, this was a pretty lucrative union for Kim and Kris even though it is coming to an end. The two reportedly did have a pre-nup.

Here`s the big whopper though. TMZ reports today Kris Humphries had no idea that Kim was going to file divorce papers.

In fact, today, he tells TMZ this, "I`m committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents. I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce. I`m willing to whatever it takes to make it work."

Well, I`m holding the filing right here. Kris, I don`t think there`s going to be much to do as far as making it work.

Sunny, it does sound like this came out of nowhere, at least to Kris Humphries, but here`s my question. Why a divorce after 72 days and not an annulment? Why would Kim have opted to go to the divorce route?

ATTY. SUNNY HOSTIN, LEGAL CONTRIBUTOR, "IN SESSION" ON TRU TV: Well, because it sounds better, right? It adds more to the drama. I`m going to tell you I`m personally offended by this whole fiasco.

HAMMER: I can tell.

HOSTIN: I sat. I watched the whole wedding thing. I believe in true love. I could be a professional wedding crasher. I go to weddings all over the place, people I don`t even know, because they`re filled with hope.

They don`t really know what they`re getting into. I`ve been married quite a while. And I`m just shocked that I went along for the ride along with so many other people.

This was a fiasco. This was a farce from the very beginning. And that`s why we`re only - we`re hearing about a divorce and not necessarily an annulment.

HAMMER: Everywhere I`ve gone in the building, say - of course, here at SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, everybody is coming up to me and is like, "Is it true? Can you believe it?"

And everybody is angry just like you are. I, for one, when all the rumblings of problems in paradise were coming around, was the one to say, oh, so naively, "Oh, no, it`s probably - they`re just - they`re fine."

I don`t want to be that person who`s casting, you know, a negative outlook on their wedding just because they`re big stars. But it is hard to for me to believe that after 72 days, they could just call it quits like that.

In fact, let`s let Sunny watch some more and we`ll watch along with her as we take a walk back in time to that fateful day when Kim and Kris vowed to love each other until death do them part.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Kim, I love you -

KRIS HUMPHRIES, NBA STAR: Kim, I love you -

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And take you to be my wedded wife -

HUMPHRIES: And take you to be my wedded wife -

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: To have and to hold from this day forward -

HUMPHRIES: To have and to hold from this day forward -

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Until death do us part.

HUMPHRIES: Until death do us part.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Kris, I love you -

KIM KARDASHIAN: Kris, I love you -

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And take you to be my wedded husband -

KIM KARDASHIAN: And take you to be my wedded husband -

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: To have and to hold from this day forward -

KIM KARDASHIAN: To have and to hold from this day forward -

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Until death do us part.

KIM KARDASHIAN: Until death do us part.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: And for the record, they`re both still alive. Now, I know Kim says that the decision was a difficult one. But two months - really?

A lot of people suspected from the start the whole thing was a big moneymaking publicity stunt. Michael, I don`t want to be that cynical, but I`m starting to feel that way. Do you buy that this thing was ever for real?

MICHAEL BILLY, TV AND RADIO HOST: Where do I start? I am that person. This is a sham. This is baloney. This is the PR movement of the year, of the century, of the past 10 years.

This is Kim Kardashian and her family creating a wedding that cost so much money in such horrible financial times while people, the gay community, specifically, are fighting for marriage.

They make marriage a sham, after 72 days, for all of us to be bought and sold on this reality garbage. I have had it. I am pulling for a Kardashian boycott.

HOSTIN: I`m with you. I`m with you. I`ll boycott. I`ll boycott.

BILLY: That`s good. Thanks.

HAMMER: Well, I think this is a PR nightmare for them. And quite frankly, I hate to bring them up, but I think Balloon Boy dad is saying, "See, it`s not just me."

HOSTIN: Exactly.

BILLY: Exactly.

HAMMER: By the way, have you, guys, seen the latest Kardashian promo for the new season of "Kourtney and Kim take New York"? Fully promoting Kim and Kris` marriage drama. Roll it.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ANNOUNCER: This November, they may have the world at their feet, but things can change in a New York minute.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Definitely not easy sharing an apartment with Kris and Kim.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We either going to become best friends or worst enemies.

KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN, REALITY TV STAR: I`d love for me, Kim and Khloe to all be pregnant at the same time.

KIM KARDASHIAN: How am I going to have my career if we`re in Minnesota?

HUMPHRIES: By the time you have kids and they`re in school, no one will probably care about you.

ANNOUNCER: "Kourtney and Kim take New York."

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: You see, when I see that, I can`t help but think we shouldn`t be surprised. Now, Kareen, you were right there when the two of them got married, again, 72 days ago.

You`ve already said that you`re so surprised we`re talking about divorce so soon. But are you angry like everybody else appears to be?

WYNTER: OK, A.J. Well, you know, I bet the whole world, many people especially Sunny who watch this, right, this reality show, this big fairytale wedding, that they feel duped.

But Michael Billy, I disagree. I don`t think this was a publicity stunt. I mean, who wants to be the laughing stock of Hollywood? Did I think it would last forever? No. I don`t think anyone really did.

Did I think it would last just 72 days? Absolutely not. You know, you wouldn`t want to be that star 10, 15 years from now, despite how huge you are today, where people are like, you know, she was lucky in fame but not in love.

I really think that they were giving it a shot here. And because of all the stress, with all of the media and the press, that it never had a chance.

HAMMER: Yes. So now, of course, everybody`s wondering, though, how`s the divorce going to play out? Kim in her statement said that, "Oh, we`re going to remain friends."

We learned she`s already hired a powerhouse divorce lawyer to the stars, however, to represent her. And despite the nice-y nice statement, she is making it clear that Kris will not receive any spousal support whatsoever, Sunny.

So does it seem to you, especially when hiring a big gun like Laura Wasser - I mean, come on - that maybe she`s preparing for the possibility of a messy divorce?

HOSTIN: I think so. We`ve been talking about - I wonder if Kris was in on it. He seems like he was duped along with everyone else, so he may fight this.

The bottom line is whether she gets to keep the ring. I mean, I want that ring. That ring was something else. But I think he may put up a fight. They have a pre-nup, though.

HAMMER: But you mentioned something. It will be interesting to see if he`s in on this. He`s releasing a statement saying he`s blindsided. But now, you bring up a conspiracy theory. He knew about it -

BILLY: No way Kris knew about it.

HAMMER: All right. You`re not going that far.

BILLY: I`m not sure though.

HOSTIN: I`m not sure.

HAMMER: All right. Kareen, Sunny, Michael Billy, thank you all so much.

Got to move on to yet another big Kardashian family shocker tonight. This is unbelievable and it involves Kim`s mom, Kris Jenner.

Kim K`s mom breaks the lid the O.J. Simpson murder trial. Now, Kris` ex-husband helped O.J. beat the rap. Now, after all these years, Kris reveals why she thinks O.J. did kill Nicole Simpson.

The "Family Guy" fury tonight. The cartoon comedy is being blasted tonight for brutal scenes of domestic violence.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. And tonight, a SHOWBIZ special report, dancing with Michael.

As the Michael Jackson death trial nears its end, family, friends and fans certainly hope for justice for Michael. They also hope to keep Michael`s memory alive.

They all know that Michael`s music will live on forever. But there`s also that other Michael magic - his unforgettable talent as a dancer.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(MUSIC)

(voice-over) The freaky rush of Michael Jackson`s "Thriller."

(MUSIC)

The underground "Bad" dance party that rose to the top of the charts.

(MUSIC)

The gravity-defying, criminal choreography in "smooth criminal." Was Michael Jackson`s magic in his music or his moves? Michael worked wonders in the recording studio, but on stage, he set a new standard for pop performance.

JEFFREY PAGE, AWARD-WINNING CHOREOGRAPHER: What makes Michael a genius is the fact he not only took time to study and to research and to learn these techniques, but he also had it in his soul and in his heart.

Jeffrey Page is an award-winning choreographer who has worked with A- list artists like Beyonce. He tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT what set Michael Jackson`s performing apart was his disciplined study of dance and his ability to reinvent moves to make him his own.

PAGE: Every genius definitely takes things with proper acknowledgement and proper honor to where it came from. And every genius takes things and then finds a way to implement their own signature, their own footprint, their own fingerprint on those particular things. And I think that`s exactly what Michael did.

HAMMER: As a child performing with the Jackson 5, Michael said he learned by watching Jackie Wilson and James Brown. When Michael broke out on his own, he turned to the streets of Los Angeles for inspiration.

PAGE: He spent a lot of time studying L.A.-style locking and popping. Certain hits that he does with his hands that are signature Michael Jackson are actually locking moves that come from the streets, that come from, you know, an African-American community.

HAMMER: And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you, Michael took street moves to a whole new level. One earth-shattering example - the moonwalk. And what about all that grabbing?

PAGE: It`s amazing because if you see that now, it might be absolutely vulgar. But the way Michael did it, it was like - it was revolutionary, I think, in terms of performance and in terms of dance and in terms of people looking at dance and the body as a form of communication and not just a form of sensuality or sexuality.

HAMMER: And there`s no doubt that Michael`s magic lives on today in music`s biggest stars.

(MUSIC)

Yes. Usher has known how to channel Michael`s magic from the start. Chris Brown shows off Michael`s influence in "She Ain`t You."

(MUSIC)

Brown dedicated the video to Michael Jackson who he called his biggest inspiration of all-time. But Page tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, two artists take the cake when it comes to channeling the King of Pop.

PAGE: If we`re talking about what`s in his mind and who`s honoring that process in the way that he honored that process, I would definitely say the people I see honoring the process is definitely Lady Gaga, definitely Beyonce.

HAMMER: Like Michael, queens of pop, Lady Gaga and Beyonce, perform with a theatrical flair that transports fans to another world.

PAGE: I think we all as human beings are in need of escapism. I think there`s so much going on in the world that to sit in a theater or to sit in your living room on the couch and watch a video and to completely go to another dimension - we all need that. And I think definitely - I think that`s what Michael did for us.

HAMMER: The real secret behind Michael`s magic - music that drew us in, dancing that kept us on our feet and a legacy that will live on for years to come.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

And remember, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT and HLN are covering the Michael Jackson death trial like no one else, "Justice for Michael." Stay with SHOWBIZ TONIGHT until the very end of the trial. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s going to be live at 11:00 p.m. Eastern when the verdict is announced.

Moving on to Kim Kardashian`s mom who`s dropping an O.J. Simpson bombshell tonight. Her ex-husband was O.J.`s lawyer and friend. Well, tonight, Kris Jenner is revealing for the first time what she really knew about the O.J. murder case and why she thinks she may have been able to save Nicole Simpson`s life.

There`s more explosive Kardashian news breaking. Kim K. filing for divorce today. So here`s what I want to know - should Kim and Kris be forced to give back the $18 million they reportedly made from that blowout wedding? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: They`re telling me wait, what? That the queen has decided to join us?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Hello. Hello.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That`s funny. It was a morning show Halloween showdown today. The hosts of the "Today" show dressed up in royal wedding Halloween costumes. Even former "Today" co-anchor Meredith Vieira there, stopping by for a surprise visit.

Well, I can tell you the "Today" show had nothing on our friends over at "Live with Regis and Kelly" this Halloween. Nick Lachey filled in for Regis Philbin. Nick and Kelly pulled out all stops for their huge Halloween spectacular.

They were wearing not one, not two, but from my count, at least nine different costumes. And like the gang at the "Today" show, they did their own royal wedding tribute. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there this morning at "Regis and Kelly" where Nick Lachey revealed his favorite Halloween costume to us.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

NICK LACHEY, SINGER: I felt extremely sexy in the Sophia outfit. I actually kept that one for my own personal use. But it was all fun. You know, every single one was obviously different in its own way.

And we just had a blast with it and went for it and it was really cool today to watch it all kind of played back and put together. It was a lot of fun.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Well, Regis, of course, is leaving "Live" in just a few weeks. This would have been his last Halloween ball on the show, but he was kind of there in spirit.

Can we see this, please? Heidi Klum was there giving us her own Halloween take on Regis. I`ve got to tell you Regis never looked quite so sexy.

All right. Did the real Reg really miss all the fun today? You`ve got to watch what Kelly told us this morning when SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dropped by.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KELLY RIPA, CO-HOST, "LIVE WITH REGIS AND KELLY": Regis is the happiest he`s ever been because he hates the Halloween show and he hates Halloween. And so, like, the fact he did not have to come here, but he was still represented by the luscious Heidi Klum, just made his life that much better.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I don`t like that Regis doesn`t like Halloween. That makes me mad for some reason. But for my money, Kelly and Nick won the costume war this morning. How do you beat nine costume changes in one hour? Nice job, guys, and I think you enjoyed it, unlike Regis.

Time for the SHOWBIZ lineup - here`s what`s coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with big news breaking tonight - keeping up with the Kardashian mess.

Just 72 days after Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries said "I do" at that mega-multimillion dollar wedding bonanza, well, today, they are saying, "I don`t." But at what cost?

Kim K. filed for divorce this morning. And tonight, the outrage has just exploded from coast to coast. Are Kim and Kris the victims of the reality curse?

Joining me here in New York, Sunny Hostin, legal contributor for "In Session" on Tru TV. Also radio and TV host, Michael Billy.

So SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has been racing to keep up with the absolute flurry of tweets coming out of Hollywood all day long. Everybody`s been reacting to the news of Kim and Kris` big divorce.

Let me begin with the lovely Holly Robinson Peete. She says this, "What does etiquette say about returning wedding gifts if the bride and groom are only married 2 1/2 months?"

This is from Bravo`s Andy Cohen, "Do they have to return the gifts?" I think they both made great points. According to reports today, Kim and Kris made more than $18 million from their fairytale wedding.

They were selling that to "E!" The exclusive photos to "People" magazine that they sold, "Us Weekly" as well. All the lavish gifts that they got. Here`s our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint tonight, should Kim and Kris be forced to return the money? Sunny?

HOSTIN: Yes. I`ve got to tell you, I feel personally offended and duped by this. As I mentioned, I sat up watching this wedding fiasco and I bought into it and I want my money back.

HAMMER: Will you lead the charge in the class action lawsuit?

HOSTIN: Absolutely. Hire me. Hire me. I`ll take that case.

HAMMER: Michael Billy, to the SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, what do you think? Do they have to give the money back?

BILLY: I disagree. I totally disagree.

HOSTIN: You what?

BILLY: No, I disagree. Here`s the thing -

HAMMER: No, let`s start off with - you do feel offended by what happened.

BILLY: Completely offended.

(CROSS TALK)

But, look, if you paid that amount of money for a gift, serves you right. If you didn`t know this marriage was going to be over from the beginning, then, sorry, you got duped and you deserve what you get. Don`t get the presents back. Keep the presents. But the money you made -

HAMMER: Yes.

BILLY: Make a nice signal and give that money to a charity. You don`t need the money. Make a charitable donation in honor of you and Kris. That`s what I would say.

HAMMER: I would like to see that happen. I might forgive them a couple million bucks.

BILLY: The guests don`t need the money, so give it to charity. I`m just saying.

HAMMER: Let`s move on to the next big Hollywood tweet about the Kardashian divorce drama. My buddy Lisa Rinna was right on it today, tweeting this, "The world of reality - it starts to eat its own tail at some point. I think we`re starting to see the world of reality imploding - just my opinion."

To me, it kind of sounds like Lisa is saying Kim and Kris are just the latest victims of the reality curse. I think a lot of people would actually agree that that probably could have something to do with it. Never seemed like Kris was in for the full game here.

HOSTIN: No. And I think one of the reasons why she`s divorcing him is because he wasn`t in for the full game. And he was showing some sort of independence, right? And the Kardashian machine didn`t like that.

We saw that interview on "Leno" when he was being himself. He really stood up for her. I think he was probably the best thing to ever happen to her because he had his own life, his own image. And I think it was just too much for the heavily-controlled Kardashian empire.

HAMMER: Wow. They went - he went against the empire.

HOSTIN: He did.

HAMMER: And he got served.

HOSTIN: Yes.

HAMMER: And he got served.

HOSTIN: The empire struck back.

HAMMER: Late today, this from Kim`s sisters chiming in. Here`s what Khloe tweeted, "Thank God for family. We are strong and we will only become closer. I love you," obviously to Kim.

Kourtney Kardashian tweeting this, "Our sister is going through a difficult time, but we`re a close family and are sticking together like always. Kim Kardashian, we love you."

Look, this is one of the most televised families out there. Michael, I do think this is a PR nightmare for the Kardashians.

Other people think that, you know what, like everything else, it will roll right off and she will continue to be the megastar, mega-money machine that she is. I don`t know about that. I think this is going to hurt her credibility.

BILLY: I sincerely hope it hurts her credibility - the whole family`s credibility. This, again, this is - we have all been duped, such a sham of a marriage - again, 72 days when marriage is so important in the United States right now, especially to the gay community.

I`m sorry. It should hurt her, and rightfully so. I hope she doesn`t make a comeback. Keep the money and move to the island that Elin is living on, Tiger`s ex. Right there.

HAMMER: Very quickly. Of course, Hollywood loves a sequel so maybe she`ll get married again.

HOSTIN: Yes.

HAMMER: But the question is, will anybody ever believe her again?

HOSTIN: I think so. I don`t think that it`s actually going to hurt her. Look at Elizabeth Taylor, J-Lo. She fancies herself the new Elizabeth Taylor, right? She`s got the big ring.

(CROSS TALK)

HAMMER: We`ll see. This is just beginning. Michael Billy, Sunny Hostin, thank you both.

Well, the Kardashian bombshells just kept on coming today. This is truly unbelievable. Before Kim Kardashian broke her big divorce news, we learned shocking revelations from her mom, Kris Jenner, about the murder of O.J. Simpson`s wife, Nicole.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) He`s the late father of the queens of the reality show universe, the Kardashian sisters. But in the 1990s, attorney Robert Kardashian was known as the loyal friend who stood by O.J. Simpson`s side.

ROBERT KARDASHIAN, O.J. SIMPSON`S FORMER ATTORNEY: "First, everyone understand I have nothing to do with Nicole`s murder."

HAMMER: While O.J. stood trial for allegedly killing his ex-wife, Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman. And now, for the first time, Robert`s ex-wife and the head of the Kardashian family reality show empire, Kris Jenner, is telling all she knows about the O.J. saga in her new book, "Kris Jenner and All Things Kardashian."

ALEXIS TERESZCUK, SENIOR REPORTER, "RADARONLINE.COM": Kris Jenner says she and Nicole Brown Simpson were the best of friends.

HAMMER: Alexis Tereszcuk of "Radar Online" got an early look at Kris Jenner`s new book where Kris reveals a chilling prediction when Nicole Brown Simpson once made to her about O.J., "He`s going to kill me and he`s going to get away with it."

TERESZCUK: Kris Jenner said in her new book that she always suspected that O.J. had something to do with the death of Nicole Brown Simpson.

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT confirmed today that, in her new book, Kris Jenner shares the guilt she feels for letting down her late friend. Kris reveals that Nicole called her June 12th, 1994, the day she was murdered.

TERESZCUK: She was so upset and just said, "Kris, can you please come over here? I really need to talk to you." And Kris had young children at the time. She said, "Nicole, can we do it tomorrow?" And Nicole said, "Yes, that`s fine."

HAMMER: It would be the last time Nicole and Kris would ever speak. Later that day, Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman were found murdered in a bloody crime scene.

And in her new book, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has learned that Kris Jenner writes, "I instinctively knew O.J. had something to do with Nicole`s death. That O.J. would be so destructive and selfish and jealous that he would do that to her was just mind-blowing to me."

And the day after the killings, Kris writes that Nicole`s sister, Denise, revealed while Nicole was so desperate to talk to her that fateful day.

TERESZCUK: Kris found out that Nicole wanted to talk to her about the horrible abuse that she says she suffered at the hands of O.J. Kris Jenner says she felt like she could have saved Nicole Brown Simpson`s life.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Not guilty.

HAMMER: And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can reveal that when O.J. was acquitted of the murders, Kris Jenner writes that she was as shocked as the rest of the nation, "We couldn`t believe it. Not guilty. Wow, there is no justice for her, I thought. We were all so devastated."

In an upcoming interview on CNN`s "PIERS MORGAN TONIGHT," Kris Jenner still feels the loss from that tragic killing.

KRIS JENNER, REALITY SHOW STAR: I will always feel like the day that we lost Nicole as a friend, as a dear friend, we lost O.J. the same day.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Brings it all back, doesn`t it? "Kris Jenner and All Things Kardashian" goes on sale everywhere on Tuesday.

Moving now to "Family Guy" fury. Tonight, the cartoon sitcom getting slammed for startling and brutal scenes of domestic violence.

HAMMER: The SHOWBIZ Flashpoint tonight - has the comedy made a really serious mistake here?

Name calling. Hair pulling. Tears. From coast to coast, "The Real Housewives" are known for their fabulous-ity and their fights, of course. Well, tonight, SHOWBIZ dares to ask, are reality shows turning young girls into mean girls?

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star and mom, Kandi Burruss, tells me what she thinks. Kandi right here in an all-new SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, it`s the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

TEXT: Wendy Williams dresses up as Pan Am stewardess on her show.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WENDY WILLIAMS, HOST, "WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW": Happy Halloween. We`re booing well here on Wendy. Do you like my costume?

When I was sent the Pan AM bag from "The Pan Am Show," I said, oh, my gosh. I want to pull the whole look together. I mean, I love the show. But the real reason I love the outfit is that you`re able to do something retro and really tight and cinched.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: A stunning new episode of the animated TV show "Family Guy" tries to call attention to domestic violence. But did the show take it too far?

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. Tonight, they showed what?

The hit Fox show, "Family Guy," pushing the domestic violence message to the very limit, putting a damper on all the laughs while really stunning viewers and sparking some major outrage today.

With me, tonight, from Los Angeles, Dr. Wendy Walsh, the co-host of "The Doctors."

So Wendy, I`ve got to tell you, like so many other people, I was just shocked by what I saw on "Family Guy" last night.

Now, keep it in mind, the show airs on Fox at 9:00 p.m. The show was trying to send a message about domestic violence.

But I want you to watch with me this one scene in particular that jumped out. The character, Jeff, really letting his girlfriend, Brenda, have it. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: Jeff and I are happy to stay here with you for as long as you need.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Fine. Then you call my cousin, Terry, and tell him we`re not going to be at his karate recital.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: Jeff, he is my brother.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Why do you always have to remind me I didn`t finish high school?

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: Listen, how about I make us all some dinner, huh?

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Come here, you fat, ugly bitch.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Wow. Now, look, I know the "Family Guy" producers are always taking risks. I`ve always thought creator Seth McFarland was a brilliant, brilliant guy. But here`s our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - did they make a serious mistake? Wendy, what do you think?

DR. WENDY WALSH, CO-HOST, "THE DOCTORS": Well, I think they`re some of the greatest satirists out there and they make good, adult comedy, A.J.

But this time, they missed the mark. And the reason why they missed the mark is they broke two crucial rules of comedy. First of all, all comedy is tragedy viewed from across the street.

But clearly, the street wasn`t wide enough here. And secondly, they made fun of the victim more than they made fun of the assailant.

Yes, they did allude that he was uneducated and without a job and, in the end, they killed him. But the main theme of the show was about this poor, stupid woman was too dumb to leave her relationship, her abusive relationship. And domestic violence is far more complicated than that. I just think they missed the mark.

HAMMER: Yes. I think it surprised so many people. There was one headline I saw today that said, "`Family Guy` hits horrible new low with domestic abuse episode."

There was another scene that I want to take look at. Brenda tried to make excuses for her boyfriend beating her up. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: I`m sorry. Oh, shoot. See, this is why Jeff corrects me all the time.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: Corrects you? Brenda, he`s not correcting you. He`s beating you.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: Well, I can see why you`d think that because of the punches and all, but it`s just that Jeff`s been so angry about immigrants.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: What?

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: It will be better when he gets back to work. Our relationship is just complicated. That`s all.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Wendy, I mean, quickly, this was really a depressing half hour of television to me.

WALSH: Yes, because what we`re watching is not comedy. We`re watching someone rationalize a domestic violence relationship and this is the kind of thought process that actually goes on in real life. So it`s not satire anymore. It`s too close to real life. That`s the problem.

HAMMER: It caught people`s attention, but as you say, it may have very well missed the mark here. Dr. Wendy Walsh, thank you very much. Make sure you check out "The Doctors" weekdays on CBS.

All right. We must move on tonight because there is another big TV reality check we must get to. Do reality show fights make young girls mean girls? You know, we see plenty of those fights on "The Real Housewives" shows.

And with me tonight for a reality check, the lovely Kandi Burruss who stars, of course, on "Real Housewives of Atlanta." The new season premieres this Sunday. I am ready.

Kandi is also going to be starring in a great new breakout reality show on Bravo called "Kandi Factory," and she`s launching a line of intimate products called Bedroom Kandi. You are a busy woman.

KANDI BURRUSS, REALITY TV STAR, "THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA": Yes.

HAMMER: Before we get to all the "Housewives" drama, there`s drama going on elsewhere in the world of reality TV today with Kim Kardashian filing for divorce after 72 days of being married.

BURRUSS: That is crazy.

HAMMER: What do you think about that?

BURRUSS: Well, I`m just shocked, first and foremost, because I thought she would have, like, took it a little longer than that, at least for the drama of television. But now, you know, at least she got a good story line for next season.

HAMMER: Yes, but a lot of people crying foul here and saying, "Oh, we were all just hosed," you know. Was it all for the publicity and all for the money?

BURRUSS: The money could be.

HAMMER: Yes. Stranger things have happened. You know, you work in this world. And look, this Sunday, we`re getting ready for this new season of the "Real Housewives of Atlanta."

And I know that there are going to be fireworks. It`s off to an explosive start this season. Already, we`re seeing your cast mates going head to head in teases for the show. Charles, can we roll that one in particular?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Grow some balls, bitch. You control your husband.

(CROSS TALK)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You must not know (UNINTELLIGIBLE). You need to get your teeth fixed. How about that?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. Kandi, after I watched that, I`ve got to tell you, there`s a new study out tonight right on the heels of this over-the-top behavior. It says cat fights on reality shows are creating a new generation of mean girls.

Now, you, thankfully, have a solid reputation of being one of the more level-headed of all of the housewives. You`re set to mentor new talent in the new season, in your new series. Do you think that the fighting on the reality show really does set a bad example for young women?

BURRUSS: Well, honestly, I really don`t think that. I feel like, a lot of times, what happens on reality TV is what happens in real life. You know, people have these petty arguments. They go out of control. And the thing is, you know, the network decides to put it up for everybody to see.

HAMMER: You know, there is no doubt there are a lot of young and impressionable women who look up to you guys and want to emulate your behavior for better or worse.

Thankfully, a lot of them are probably emulating your good behavior. But there`s a lot of the table-flipping, hair-pulling and name-calling going on. And I just feel like they want that drama to be part of their lives. Do you -

BURRUSS: Do you think so?

HAMMER: Well, do you at least get the point that people are making, saying this is going on?

BURRUSS: I get what people are saying but I really don`t believe that. I feel like that`s an excuse. I feel like people use television as an excuse to say, "Because you did that on TV, I did that in real life."

Yes, right. That`s not the case. I mean, we all argue. We all, you know, have little tiffs every now and then. We never, on our show, anyway, get physically, like, pound each other down.

HAMMER: Right. Thank goodness. At least, you`re not showing it to us.

BURRUSS: At least not yet.

HAMMER: There surely has been plenty of real life drama that`s going around without heightening it all. We saw what happened with Taylor Armstrong from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Her husband committing suicide. "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star, Gretchen Rossi`s fiance dying of cancer. Your fiance murdered.

I understand this has all created a special bond between you ladies. What do you guys talk about? I mean, it has to be so tough to deal with this and have the cameras around.

BURRUSS: Actually, I have never met Taylor myself, but I mean, it is kind of - it`s crazy that we`ve all, you know, had great losses during the time of taping the show.

But for me, you know, whenever I hear about what`s going on with the other women and I relate to them, I just say, you know, I hope that they keep things going. I hope they keep pushing and don`t get caught up in just grief, so much in their grief that they just fall apart.

HAMMER: Yes. I`ve always thought you had a great attitude and you learned how to turn the horrible tragedies and negative things in life into hopefully learning experiences and positives. And I wish you all the best.

BURRUSS: Thank you.

HAMMER: Kandi Burruss, great to have you here. Make sure you check out the new season of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." It premieres this Sunday on Bravo.

As we move on tonight, Taylor Swift has got a naked photo war going on. That`s right. The country sweetheart being dragged into this ugly battle over alleged topless photos of her.

Well, she`s fighting back. I`m happy to hear that. Taylor going toe- to-toe, next. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

TEXT: "In Living Color" to return with original host and producer, Keenen Ivory Wayans. Justin Bieber tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT what he wants for Christmas.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JUSTIN BIEBER, POP STAR: My family`s asking, like, what do I want? I really want - I just need socks. I have no socks because I, like, travel so much. I need, like, unlimited amount of socks.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Hilary`s house-cleaning. Hilary Swank says, "See you," to her staff, after an embarrassing international incident. Songbird Adele is silenced until 2012, but there`s good news for her tonight.

And Taylor Swift is ticked off about an alleged nude photo scandal. And tonight, she is fighting back. That story tops "The Buzz Today."

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) Taylor`s nude photo smack-down. Taylor Swift just declared war on the Web site, "CelebJihad.com." Taylor is reportedly demanding the site take down the topless picture they posted of a woman the site is suggesting is Swift.

According to TMZ, Taylor`s lawyers fired off an angry letter to "Celeb Jihad" claiming the site has false pornographic images and false news about Taylor and is threatening to sue them for trademark infringement.

Adele`s titanic triumph and tragedy. Superstar singer, Adele, is not well. She`s now revealing she`s undergoing major throat surgery and canceling all of her remaining tour dates for the rest of the year.

In a brand-new statement to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Adele`s reps tell us, "She is to undergo surgery to alleviate the current issues with her throat. And a full recovery is expected."

"As a result, doctors ordered her to rest her voice and completely recuperate before looking to schedule work commitments." That announcement comes just as her album, "21," hit a major milestone.

It`s back on the top spot on Billboard 200 marking 13 weeks at number one. Last album spent so many weeks at the top with the soundtrack for "Titanic" in 1998.

Swank says sayonara. Hilary Swank has just reportedly fired everyone responsible for her recent appearance at a lavish party for a controversial Chechen leader just weeks after the Oscar winner was slammed by human rights groups for attending Ramzan Kadyrov`s 35th birthday amid allegations he`s responsible for murder and torture.

U.K. newspaper, "The Independence" said, Hilary has ditched her agents and managers of eight years. Swank issued an apology for attending earlier this month and promised to give her fee to various charitable organizations.
