Showbiz news maker Steven Spielberg. Tonight, "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT" with the question everyone wants the legendary director to answer, is he teaming up with George Lucas for another "Indiana Jones" movie.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Does your gut tell you that George Lucas will say let`s go.

HAMMER: I`m one on one with him in a news maker interview.

TV`s most provocative entertainment news show breaks news right now.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer a in New York with big news breaking tonight, choosing to live.

With those chilling but brave words Giuliana Rancic revealed that her worst fears had come true that her treatment for breast cancer was not totally successful and she made the difficult decision to have both breasts removed because she says she is choosing to live.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

GIULIANA RANCIC: I`m going to move forward with a double mastectomy.

HAMMER: A radical new turn in E! News host, Giuliana Rancic`s battle with breast cancer.

This morning in "the Today" show, she told the world she`s reached the difficult decision to have both breasts removed in hopes of stopping the cancer once and for all.

GIULIANA RANCIC: I couldn`t be more at peace with the decision but it was hard and I still break down some nights when it is quiet in bed. It`s easy to just start crying and be very sad but I`m OK.

HAMMER: With her husband bill ran sick by her side, Giuliana shared the most intimate details of the cancer fight. Her goal in going public to help other women going through the same thing.

GIULIANA RANCIC: I think that is very important that girls, women we stick together and we share our experience with each other.

HAMMER: "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT" can tell you Giuliana and Bill Rancic are a true rarity in the celebrity world, a happy and functional reality show couple.

BILL RANCIC, ACTOR: I don`t make bets.

GIULIANA RANCIC: Trust me you do not make this bed.

HAMMER: They star in Style Network, Giuliana and Bill which is chronicled their struggled to have a baby through in vitro fertilization. In fact, it is when Giuliana got a pre IVF mammogram that she got some frightening the news.

GIULIANA RANCIC: Through my attempt to get pregnant for the third time through IVF, we sadly found out that I have early stages of breast cancer.

HAMMER: Last October, Giuliana shared her diagnosis with the world on "the Today show."

GIULIANA RANCIC: I mean, it was incredible instant sobbing and it was like the world just crashed down around me.

HAMMER: Giuliana initially underwent to double lumpectomy but this morning Bill Rancic said they didn`t get the result that`s hoped for.

BILL RANCIC: Unfortunately, the one breast they weren`t able to clear the margins and get all of the cancer out so we were faced with a decision to make.

HAMMER: Giuliana said once they did the math the decision was clear.

GIULIANA RANCIC: With the double mastectomy I have less than a one percent chance of getting it back. With another lumpectomy, radiation and medication, I could have seen 20 to 30 to 40 percent chance in my lifetime and for me it wasn`t worth it.

But to be honest, at the end all it came down to was just choosing to live and not looking over my shoulder for the rest of my life.

HAMMER: Also pushing Giuliana toward a double mastectomy, her continue desire to have a child.

GIULIANA RANCIC: If I chose to do another lumpectomy and then do radiation and then do anti-estrogen therapy then I would have to put off having a baby for several years. So that was something we took in to account.

HAMMER: Still the decision to have her breasts removed was an emotionally wrenching one for Giuliana and the support of her husband is helping her through the ordeal.

GIULIANA RANCIC: Bill said to me I just need you around the next 50 years, kid. That`s what he said.

HAMMER: Giuliana joins other stars who gone public with their double mastectomies, comedian Wanda Sykes had one earlier this year and actress Kristina Applegate had one in 2008. Giuliana says she feels lucky to have such a big forum to have such an important and life-saving conversation.

GIULIANA RANCIC: We see it as an honor to be able to share our story and help people and let them feel less alone. So, my gosh, I mean, I think I have been given this incredible platform and you are allowing me to be here on "the Today show" to talk about this issue that affects so many people. All of us are in it together and it is like I think we are like all people and it is a privilege. So I`m happy to be here.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It`s a privilege.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Giuliana`s candor is really such an inspiration to women and quite frankly I think guys everywhere could really take a page out of Bill`s book for his amazing bravery in all of these strength as he remains in the bright side, not only in their personal journey but as they do this publicly and really shares their emotional story with everyone.

With me in New York right now, I`m so pleased to welcome Daniel Baldwin who we all know of course from the great show called "Case" and of course his legendary Hollywood family.

And right now, Daniel is in a great new movie called "Christmas with a capital C." And in Hollywood tonight, I have TV journalist and doctor of psychology, Wendy Walsh.

So, Giuliana`s brave decision to have a double mastectomy obviously, is something that was tough, something that was very personal. But her reason to go public with her decision on "the Today show" I think it was something even more profound. Watch what she said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GIULIANA RANCIC: And I think that is very important that girls, women we stick together and we, you know, we share our experience with each other because that helped me I think more than anything was to get to the decision, was to see another woman similar age as me who had been through it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That other woman, by the way, as Giuliana mentioned there was a close friend but now, Giuliana can be that friend, that woman that people can look to for strength in what she`s going through.

Wendy, what goes through your mind as you hear Giuliana sharing her breast cancer journey is so publicly like this? We don`t see it all that often.

WENDY WALSH, TV JOURNALIST, DOCTOR OF PSYCHOLOGY: Well, she is a public person. As an extroverted and a public person this is something she is more comfortable with. We don`t recommend for every person. But remember, going public helps her to connect with her fans and feel in community as she goes through this terrible, really trying time.

And we do know that one thing that women have that many men don`t is this ability to tend and be friend. That is a famous study out of UCLA and it helps relieves depression and anxiety. So, she has to speak public forum to tend and be friend to millions of people and it is wonderful.

HAMMER: And Daniel, you know very well how important making those connections are, your mother was diagnosed with breast cancer all the way back in 1990. She formed the mastectomy research fund and has really been a leader in the fight against breast cancer, millions of dollars raised. What would you say to Giuliana and Bill right now as they are going through what they are dealing with?

DANIEL BALDWIN, STAR, CHRISTMAS WITH A CAPITAL C: Well, first of all, I would say my hat is off to you for taking this approach. You know, you can take negatives in your life and try to find ways to turn them in to a positive. She`s been blessed in so many ways. Have been able to make a living in the public eye and do things on camera. Why not take it to the next level, you know, and be able to reach out and help someone else with early detection, with what it is like to go through psychologically and emotionally as someone who`s going to receive a mastectomy? That`s a huge blow to a woman. So I think that my message to her is keep the faith.

HAMMER: Simple as that.

BALDWIN: There it is.

HAMMER: Alright, very good. Well, I want to move now to something entirely different. Take a little bit of a left turn. This is a totally different kind of story. Really a shocking battle.

Just as we seem to be watching Charlie Sheen`s straightening his act out, his ex-wife is not winning. Charlie`s ex-Brooke Mueller was just arrested at an Aspen, Colorado nightclub on suspicion of assault and cocaine possession. She is out on bond but Brooke`s got pre-Christmas court date to face the music.

You know Daniel, like Charlie with Brooke you met your estranged wife in rehab. Like Charlie, you have small kid and are protective of your kids. I know are very protective of your kids. And I know you have some degree of contact with Charlie. If you could get the two of these guys in a room right now, what do you say to them?

BALDWIN: Well, I think the most important thing to understand here is, in my opinion and from what I understand from people that know Charlie and myself, is Charlie`s sober now. Which is hat`s off to him, you know. He`s winning the battle and that`s a daily battle.

If he is sober and his wife isn`t and is using illicit and illegal narcotics, perhaps the children should go back to Charlie now, provided that he continues to stay sober. That`s the most important things to me that jumped out of me about the story. The children need to be protected. So, it will be interesting to see what kind of evidence comes out about her.

HAMMER: Yes. Because I know in your personal struggles, one thing that`s been important to you is whatever is going on between you and your estranged wife, don`t let it hurt the children. Don`t let affect the children and keep it quiet. And they haven`t had such success there.

BALDWIN: No. No. You know, I remember when Kim and Alec went through their divorce. My message to both of them was, she is a great mom. She loves you. He`s a great. Daddy loves you. And then whatever happens behind closed doors or in courtrooms not around the children. Go ahead and do what with you have to do and I would say the same thing here.

HAMMER: Daniel, great to have you here tonight. I really appreciate it. Wendy Walsh. Thank you as always.

Make sure you check out Daniel`s new movie "Christmas with a Capital C." It is available right now on DVD.

And we must move now to a Kardashian family feud. Why Kim K. just flipped out and sent this message furious message to her sister Khloe.

KIM KARDASHIAN, STAR, KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS: You have no idea how much I hate you. You are disgusting.

KHLOE KARDASHIAN, STAR, KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS: Oh, my God.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Wow. Did Kim really just call Khloe a troll?

Plus, Kourtney Kardashian`s explosive twitter battle with the star of "T Mom" another Kardashian war of words.

Stevie wonder`s "Dancing with the Stars" bid? Why Stevie is getting set to become the show`s first blind contestant.

Also, I can`t wait for this the "showbiz" news maker interview. I`m going one on one with the King of Hollywood.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Does your gut tell you that, yes, George is going to step up, George Lucas and he will say let go?

HAMMER: The legendary director tells me if he will be teaming up with George Lucas for a brand new "Indiana Jones" movie.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KATHERINE HEIGL, ACTRESS: I`m Katherine Heigl. Many people may know I work with the Jason Divas Heigl foundation promoting animal causes specifically the neutering of dogs and cats. A lot of people say to me, Katherine, you promote neutering so much you must really love animals and I`m like, yes, they are OK, I guess but the real reason I`m so prone to neuter is I hate bulls. I really do.

Katherine Heigl is coming for you and you better watch out because when I rule the world, snip, snip. Yes. That felt great.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Wow. That was Katherine Heigl`s cringe worthy brand new funny or die spoof of her very real charity helping to promote the neutering of cats and dogs.

Tonight, You have got to hear the behind the scenes secrets that Katherine just told "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT" about this very provocative puppy promo.

Welcome back to "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT." I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

So, Katherine is in a star-studded new movie that everybody seems to be buzzing about called "New Year`s Eve." HEIGL: It is a crazy day. It`s just a bizarre, you know, just bizarre to be filming something like that. And my whole goal was kind a treat it like an infomercial and you know gives a serious topic. It was just too fun, you know. They`d call cut and we would be dying because it was ridiculous.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Ridiculous but effective.

Wow. I got to tell you, I think the stars that do the funny tore die spoofs even shock themselves with some of the thing they are able to get away with doing and saying.

But back now to our new interview with the lovely and funny Katherine Heigl.

Let me bring in the lovely and Misses very funny Michelle Turner who is joining us from Hollywood and I really mean joining us because Michelle is the newest member of the "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT" tonight team. Welcome.

And for my first official assignment, I sat down with Katherine and the stars of the new movie "New Year`s Eve." And as you said, this flick is star studded with a cast that includes Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michele and Hillary Swank just to name a few.

But, what made our interview so special is that the stars of the movie answered questions from our "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT" facebook fans. And this movie is all about the biggest part night of the year and facebook fans Terry H. wanted to know who would the stars be smooching as the clock strikes 12:00 in real life? You got to hear what Hilary Swank and Lea Michele told me first. Here`s liamLea.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LEA MICHELE, STAR, NEW YEAR`S EVE: I already have a secret because you need to have to figure it out and this year I`m a single girl. So, I brought in my best friend Jonathan to give me my kiss on new year`s eve.

TURNER: Nice. I like that.

HILARY SWANK, STAR, NEW YEAR`S EVE: So, to answer Terry H.`s question, I will be definitely with my boyfriend of six years and my dogs who I love and my parrot.

(LAUGHTER)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: Now, the only thing harder than kissing a parrot might be actually be wrangling all of the stars for one blockbuster movie, right? But the legendary director Gary Marshall did just that and our "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT" facebook fan Jeannie D. asked a great question about who helped to cast this amazing movie and the answer is pretty amazing in itself. Watch what Gary told me.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GARY MARSHALL, DIRECTOR, NEW YEAR`S EVE: My sister Penny. No, actually Penny knows everybody. No, it was new line and casting people but you can`t just cast big stars like this.

TURNER: Right.

MARSHALL: Many want Oscars.

TURNER: I mean, yes.

MARSHALL: So, it was a combination of everybody working and the only -- if we couldn`t get to somebody we called my sister Penny.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: You know, that would be Oscar nominated director Penny Marshall. You know, she just called them her celebrity friends, A.J. I mean goodness.

HAMMER: Yes. So, sent them connections.

Alright, Michele Turner. Great job. Thank you so much. One more time a big showbiz welcome from everybody here in our New York studio.

And right now, I got to move on to "Dancing with the Stars" champ and Iraq war veteran J.R. Martinez who is really you know kind turning in to a big super hero these days. He just helped to raise $25,000 for charity that is spear heading a memorial for wounded vets like himself.

He did it all by dancing at this lavish ball in Palm Beach. He was the guest of honor there. The charity he`s helping out is called the Americans Veterans Disabled for life foundation. The Veterans memorial, he is raising cash for it and it is set to go up in Washington.

That tops the buzz today.

HAMMER: Tori, spells it out. Tori Spelling has just hit back at critics who say parents shouldn`t put their kids on reality shows. Tori`s three kids with husband Dean McDermott are seen on their reality show on Oxygen called "Tori and Dean, Home Sweet Hollywood" and Spelling tells "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT" it works out just fine.

TORI SPELLING, STAR, TORI AND DEAN, HOME SWEET HOLLYWOOD: When people say you put your kids on a TV show, I was like well, there`s the option that I could be on a scripted television series. I could be on a set somewhere 17 hours a day and not see my children at all. You know this way, we got to spend our whole day with our kids and just live our lives and there`s a camera there sometimes.

HAMMER: The new season of "Tori and Dean, Home Sweet Hollywood" can be seen on Tuesday nights on the Oxygen Network.

HAMMER: This is really surprise me. The "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT" facebook page just started to thawing up with comments about Madonna`s Super Bowl bombshell. I can tell you, people are very passionate about this big news.

Here`s one comment from Lisa W. She writes, "when I think football I do not think of Madonna. This is a horrible choice."

Now, not everybody is hating on "Madonna." A lot of people seem to actually really love the idea and that includes Jeani M.

KHLOE KARDASHIAN: My god.

HAMMER: Tonight, why the heck is Kim Kardashian calling her sister Khloe a troll? Plus, why Lim`s other sister, Kourtney, is in a big old smack down with teen mom?

Dancing with Stevie Wonder? Motown legend is shining up his shoes for "Dancing with the Stars" but can he become the first blind star to win the mirror ball trophy?

And my one on one with movie man Steven Spielberg. Will he make another "Indiana Jones" movie?

HAMMER: Does your gut tell you that he will say let`s go?

Tonight the great Steven Spielberg reveals to me what it will take for him to make another "Indiana Jones" in a must-see "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT" news maker interview.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative news entertainment show continues right now.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Welcome back to "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT." It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York and we have got big news breaking tonight.

Sister slam -- Kim, Khloe and Kourtney. A brand new firestorm of fury is erupting today with the sisters. Reality royalty going head to head with each other.

Kris Humphries and I got to tell you, I can`t believe this, even with another reality star Farrah Abraham, the star of "Teen Mom."

With me tonight in New York, Daniel Baldwin. Of course you know him from the great show "Cold Case" and of course his legendary Hollywood family. Now, he is in a Christmas movie called "Christmas with A Capital C." And with me from Hollywood`s night entertainment journalist, Rachel Zalis.

I have to begin with the sister slam here. Kim and Khloe really stunned us all in the just revealed played latest episode of "Kourtney and Kim Take New York." We are getting a never before seen look at what was happening behind the scenes leading up to Kim, of course, kicking husband Kris Humphries to the curb. What appeared to be an innocent mistake by Khloe very quickly blew up in to an unbelievable battle. Watch what happened.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KHLOE KARDASHIAN: Kimmy, hi.

KIM KARDASHIAN: So rude to literally wake me up when I have an alarm set. I have another hour so please get out.

KHLOE KARDASHIAN: OK. We came to say good-bye.

KIM KARDASHIAN: This is my one day to sleep in.

KHLOE KARDASHIAN: She was so weird about it. Death 26-year-old, death do you part.

KIM KARDASHIAN: She doesn`t like Kris and is trying to mess with me.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Did you see that? Kim`s own sister right there giving her what hard time about Kris Humphries.

Rachel, when we see that now it is hard not to look at that and think, there you go, another clue, all not well in Kardashian marriage land. I`m actually starting to think that we should be surprise the marriage even lasted 72 days.

RACHEL ZALIS, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST: Kim is so delightful in the morning. It is really shocking Kris doesn`t want to live in the same city as her. I mean, this is crazy. They need to rename it cat fights with the Kardashians. I mean, they can`t be peaceful and happy among themselves. It is really kind crazy I have to say. I never thought I`d say this but Khloe is sounds like the sane one in the bunch right now.

HAMMER: And I but bet you never thought you would have this conversation with Daniel Baldwin. First of all, it`s great to have you. I do appreciate being here and I know you keep up with the Kardashians at every free moment. Fortunately you are a busy guy.

But when you see stuff like that playing out and these guys were getting set to get married at the time. It`s not really that big of a shock that things didn`t go so well and burned out quick.

BALDWIN: You know, I have to say I think Kim is moving up a couple of weight classes but I will take Kourtney in a first round knockout.

HAMMER: OK. Done. Right there from Daniel Baldwin. I got to say, surprising for me to see Kim portrayed so harshly on the show last night. You know, this is her show. She is putting it out there like that. She went at it with Kris to the point where she finally broke down with tears and then she really went at it, yet again, with her sister, Khloe. Watch this memorable moment.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KIM KARDASHIAN: Khloe, you crossed a major line with me.

KHLOE KARDASHIAN: That is not OK.

KIM KARDASHIAN: You damn evil little offing troll. You have no idea how much I hate you. You are disgusting.

KHLOE KARDASHIAN: Oh, my God. This is so stupid. I think she is missed because she is married to a barking dog.

(LAUGHTER)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. This is so big it deserves a recap. Kim called Khloe a troll and said she hates her. Kourtney calls Kris a barking dog. Let us remember this big blow up happened over the summer when the show was recorded and Kim actually just issued a public apology to Khloe. Here`s what she tweeted "I was so mean to Khloe. I`m sorry Koko. You know I love you so much. The things sisters do and say to each other."

Rachel, when you watch these emotional scenes play out does it make you want to jump on the Kim bandwagon at all and shout "just give the girl a break already."

ZALIS: Yes. I mean, listen, obviously watching the show and the way things are unraveling you realize why she is lashing out, why is she so upset? I mean, the guy she just married moved back to his hometown and think he doesn`t want to be in the same city as her and she actually does make a lot of effort during that episode to really go be with him, try to compromise with him, reason with him and he really kind acts like a jerk, I have to say. So, I do think in terms of her fans they might be more sympathetic after watching at least the second half of that episode.

HAMMER: Yes. Don`t think for a moment that it is not very carefully calculated how this thing is played out on television and Kris of course responded to Kim`s demand for a divorce.

BALDWIN: Don`t ruin the episode for me. He is going to ruin the episode for me.

HAMMER: Sorry. Well you know, just cover your ears for one second. But we all know this. Kris responded by saying, you know what, divorce not going to happen. I want an annulment instead.

Here`s what we asked in our "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT" exclusive poll, Kris Humphries wants to annul his marriage to Kim Kardashian. Should she let him? The results came in late today. Put it up here, look at that, 95 percent said yes, give him what he wants. Only 5 percent said no. A landslide.

So still Daniel, we have so many people in Kris` corner here. Are you shocked by that? That everybody wants him to get what he wants and not her.

BALDWIN: The Vegas under and over was 80 and I went over and I lost. So you know, 72 days, annul it. Just annul it.

HAMMER: Yes, right. Let it go.

BALDWIN: Let it go.

HAMMER: Everyone is saying it probably not going to happen that way but that`s simplest way, make it seem like it never happened.

BALDWIN: She`s worth more than him. What she`s going to do, pay him?

HAMMER: Well, apparently, if there is an annulment then there won`t be a payment.

BALDWIN: Exactly, which is why these folks should walk away?

HAMMER: We will see what happens.

There is some other big breaking Kardashian news toe today. I must get today. There`s a battle with the star of the reality show "Teen Mom" going on. I`m talking about Farrah Abraham launched her own battle against the Kardashian sisters.

Now, this began when Farrah heard the news that just broke that Kourtney is pregnant again. She and her boyfriend got this second baby on the way. So, here`s what Farrah tweeted about this. "I`m shocked Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant again. Did she not learn anything from Teen Mom? Make maybe it is a fake pregnancy like Kim`s wedding, SAD.

Well, people have speculated that. But of course, that is not go over so well with Kourtney. So, Kourtney wrote back "why would I have anything to do with teen mom? I`m 32 years old. I may look young honey. But don`t get it twisted." That`s actually pretty good.

Well look, she`s a teenager. She`s new to reality TV. She`s clearly taken some missteps of her own. Rachel, did she deserve to get what she got from Kourtney? I`m sort of on the fence here.

ZALIS: I`m totally team Kourtney. It`s ridiculous. This has nothing to do with being a teen mom and I think Farrah has better things to do like taking care of her daughter than starting twitter words with Kourtney Kardashian, especially when Scott Disick is there, too. He has said some nasty ones which is kind interesting.

HAMMER: Should a 32-year-old woman in a stable relationship as far as we know with another man be it all concerned about having a child out of wedlock and getting slammed about it I don`t understand why anyone would go after her for that.

BALDWIN: I just keep thinking of how hard it is to be an L.A. Laker and travel around the country for 82 games and then come home and have to listen to the twitter war.

(LAUGHTER)

HAMMER: Right.

BALDWIN: You want your three or four months have some fun with your wife and stay in the same city and now a twitter war going on.

HAMMER: Imagine what it like?

ZALIS: Foreplay these days.

BALDWIN: What happens if she wrong steps optimum. Is that coming out next?

HAMMER: I hope not. Let me move on completely to something else.

You have this new movie that`s out on DVD, "Christmas with a Capital C" just in time for the holidays. Tell us something about it.

BALDWIN: Yes. It is a great story. Kind of a scrooge. I play an attorney who moves to a small town from where I am from in Alaska and I pick a fight with my arch rival who is Ted McGinley`s character who is the mayor of the town and he has the girl that was my high school girlfriend and he is now married to her. It turns out I`m not doing all that well and I actually have no money and I`m living at my parent`s old home with no furniture or food and the town, although I have caused a lot of trouble for everyone, embraces me and takes me in and makes me part of the family.

HAMMER: Perfect holiday story.

BALDWIN: Yes. it`s a nice story.

HAMMER: It`s great having you here. Come back and talk Kardashians with us again.

BALDWIN: I have to go see the episode.

HAMMER: Alright, Daniel Baldwin. Great to see you.

BALDWIN: God Bless.

HAMMER: And of course, Rachel Zalis, thank you as well.

You can check out Daniel`s new movie "Christmas with A Capital C" on DVD right now.

We move now to Stevie Wonder on "Dancing with the Stars." Look, I am a huge Stevie fan and think he can do pretty much anything. Can he conquer the most famous ballroom in America? Well, he says yes.

Also, you got to see my one on one with another legend, movie titan, Steven Spielberg. Tonight, is Steven putting another together another "Indiana Jones" movie?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Does your gut tell you, yes, George is going to step up and say let`s go?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: You will not believe what Steven tells me about the possibility of yet another "Indiana Jones" flick. It is another must-see "showbiz" news maker interview.

This is "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT" on HLN, news and views. And this is the "showbiz" news ticker. These are more stories from "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT" newsroom, making news tonight.

(MOVIE CLIP PLAYING)

HAMMER: What a movie this is. Tonight, Steven Spielberg does it again. His remarkable new movie is called "War Horse." It is an epic story of a miraculous horse during war time.

And tonight on "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT," a "showbiz" newsmaker interview with the great Steven Spielberg.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Welcome back to "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT." I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

And you know, to say that Steven Spielberg is perhaps the most prolific director of his generation that is really an understatement. Because he`s made some of the most unforgettable movies of all time. " Jaws," "E.T.", "Raiders of the Lost Ark" "the Color Purple", "Schindlers list"," Jurassic Park", "Saving Private Ryan." I can go on for the rest of the show tonight.

So, I had a pleasure of being one on one with Steven. And he talked to me about his latest film "War Horse" and what it was like having a movie depend on an animal as the lead character.

In this brand new "showbiz" newsmaker interview, I don`t think Steven to open up about his (inaudible) and for you, this word for nerves. Believe it or not, even big-time directors get nervous too.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: I love that you told entertainment weekly recently that your fuel is Spill Cush. My grandmother would love to hear that. Keeping the Yiddish alive.

STEVEN SPIELBERG, DIRECTOR: That`s always been my fuel is. You know, not bringing -- everyone expects that I bring nothing but confidence to a set. I get on a set and know what I`m doing. It is when I don`t know what I am 100 percent doing that the good work really happens.

HAMMER: Do movies have the capacity or power to make you cry? You watch them in a different way than we do.

SPIELBERG: There are more things that make me cry than I will ever confess to it. So, I`m kind an easy crier in the sense of if something honestly moves me, not pushes a button and I see the figure coming to push it but if it sneaks up from behind it is an honest cry and I think my reaction when I saw "War Horse" on stage, was I think my tears watching the play were tears based on, you know, this amazing story.

HAMMER: On "War Horse" working with an elite character, Joey, the horse, who has no dialogue. I imagine that was daunting.

SPIELBERG: No. I didn`t know how we were getting it out of Joey and I really realize the entire production was depended emotional resolution of "War Horse" is totally dependent on this amazing character of this horse and the horse was going to have to really act. It is going to have to perform.

I think the best thing we did was to cast Bobby Lovegrin. The horse whisper who trained Joey. And I think that was the best decision we made. They always say that casting is 50 percent of the success of the outcome is how well you cast a film.

And in this case it is the true with the human actors but with the horse, the casting of the trainer was really, gave me a lot of comfort when he began to deliver everything we need Joey to deliver for the story.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I see. What`s your name, lad.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Albert, sir.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: How old are you?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: 19, sir.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Is that the truth.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No, sir. But I look 19 and bigger than most 19-year- old and I`m strong, sir.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I don`t doubt your qualifications.

HAMMER: Jamie Irvine was plucked from obscure toy play the role of Albert in `War Horse." Of course, this wouldn`t be the first time Spielberg has taken a young person out of nowhere and made them a star.

SPIELBERG: I have taken chances on young people and actors that never acted before like Kristin Bale with "Empire of the Sun" and Drew Barrymore and many actors who have had little or no professional experience or none whatsoever.

UNIDENTIFIED KID: Give me a break.

UNIDENTIFIED KID: Do you know what`s going to happen?

SPIELBERG: For me it`s not even a challenge. It`s just finding and allowing and allowing yourself to allow this person to bring authenticity to the part. And if you find an actor that is untrained, all they can do is be themselves and all they can bring to the table is the truth of who they are. And that`s why I really wanted an unknown actor to play Albert in this story. I just wanted to find a kid that was willing to be honest in front of the camera without the training.

HAMMER: "War Horse" is just one of two big movies Steven Spielberg has coming out this month. It will be followed by "the adventures of Tintin." Spielberg told me there have been only two times in his career when he took significant time off.

Is there a time you see you want to pull back for a couple of years so you can sail around the world or do something you are passionate about?

SPIELBERG: Been there, done that. I have had two stints of three years off where I didn`t direct and I hated it. Hated it. So, I love working.

HAMMER: Also from the outside looking in, it seems like you are in a particularly prolific period. That`s how we see it. Do you feel that way?

SPIELBERG: Yes, I do. I feel like I`m in a good time in my life. And my life like a lot of my kids are grown, they are in college or the professional world and I have two young girls that are in school and love still taking them to school. I still do the car pools but at the same time, I have more free time because my kids are older and I feel like this is a good time to work.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Put the gun down.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You got it, pal.

HAMMER: Spielberg has made four movies in the "Indiana Jones" series and there have been much speculations about a fifth working again with George Lucas. I asked him to set the record straight on all of the rumors.

I know everyone wants to know and has been asking you will you see another raiders and I know you said before when George is ready and he has something we will do it. What does your gut tell you, does your gut tell you that, yes, George is going to step up. George Lucas and he is going to say let`s go.

SPIELBERG: Yes. My gut says that George Lucas will find the McGulfen he needs to find to trigger a fifth movie. I hope he does. Because I can`t wait to make one.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: I hope we all do.

And by the way, if you don`t know what a McGulfen is, that`s movie talk for a plot element that catches everybody`s attention. Spielberg`s new movie "War Horse" opens up on Christmas day. What an epic film.

Moving on to Stevie Wonder on "Dancing with the Stars." Well, tonight the Motown legend reveals his mission for mirror ball glory. So, would the singing legend take it to the dance floor?

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Dancing wonder? Stevie Wonder says he wants to do "Dancing with the Stars."

Stevie just revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that yes, all the talk is true. He is buffing up for his shot in the ballroom.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ELLEN DEGENERES, SHOT, ELLEN: You have to tell me. is there any truth to the rumor, are you thinking of doing "Dancing with the Stars"?

STEVIE WONDER, SINGER: I`m losing weight. When I get to where I feel will I will look good enough for what I want to do, I will do that.

DEGENERES: You`re good. Really?

(APPLAUSE)

DEGENERES: You lose weight when you do it. You don`t have to do it before.

WONDER: I look better in the very beginning.

DEGENERES: Alright. Well, we are hoping that it happens.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I think it would be terrific and I think he would go far. But can Stevie, a lot of people are actually wonder this. Can Stevie, who is legally blind, realistically have a shot at that mirror ball trophy?

Back with me from Hollywood, entertainment journalist is Rachel Zalis.

Rachel, here`s a guy who obviously has overcome massive challenges in his life before. I say why not this one? I think Stevie would be amazing on the show.

ZALIS: He would be incredible. I mean, this is huge icon. He has such an inspiration. He more musicality than most people on the show. I mean, without seeing he will be a billion times better than Kate Gosselin. I swear to you. This would be just really a truly a huge gain for the show to have him on it.

HAMMER: Yes. It would be enormous. I would venture to say he would be one of the biggest stars to have appeared on the show. Stevie is not the first star on "Dancing with the Stars" with a disability. Of course, Marley Matlin did so great on the show. She is hearing impaired. She can`t hear the music. She danced. She was terrific and she really beat people`s expectations.

And I think just having him on the show would be great but obviously, he would also be a great inspiration, don`t you think?

ZALIS: Absolutely. I mean, Marley Matlin, Heather Mill, who was an amputee. I mean, these women are showing like with you know, nothing can stop you if you have a dream, if you want to do it. And I think Stevie would bring out the same thing. They both came in 7th place. I bet Stevie would go all the way to the top. So come on Stevie, sign, seal and deliver.

HAMMER: Alright, Rachel Zalis. Thanks so much.
