(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Camille is in the hot seat for a headline-making SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.

Tonight, serenading Segel. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the unbelievable story about the young woman who sang her way to a date with superstar Jason Segel. She is here in yet another headline-making SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.

TV`s most provocative entertainment news show breaks news right now.

(MUSIC)

Hello, I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with big news breaking tonight - Beyonce`s private pain.

Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is bringing you brand-new revelations and new questions about the most famous new celebrity baby in the world.

Now, to say that Beyonce and Jay-Z are proud new parents, I think that would be a huge understatement. But everyone was asking today why Jay-Z chose to share in a song, the same song that he used to confirm the birth, that Beyonce previously had suffered a miscarriage.

And as we all wait to see what little Blue Ivy looks like, a great debate broke out today about whether Beyonce and Jay-Z should just go ahead and release a picture right away, or if it`s in fact nobody`s business right now. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the big Beyonce baby questions.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) They say parenthood changes people, and for Beyonce and Jay- Z, parents, for only three days, that change has been instantaneous.

(MUSIC)

Jay-Z, known for his hard-driving hip-hop anthems today has a much softer hit on his hands with "Glory." It`s a touching new tribute to his new baby girl, Blue Ivy. The song racked over a million online views in less than a day.

(MUSIC)

But the birth of little Blue Ivy Carter has prompted another change in this super-secret celebrity couple. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you they`re now sharing more intimate details of their private lives than they ever have before. In his new song, Jay-Z drops a bombshell.

(MUSIC)

He reveals that Beyonce once had a miscarriage, something neither of them has breathed a word of before. Jay-Z raps about how that tragedy made Beyonce`s pregnancy with Blue Ivy a nerve-wracking period.

(MUSIC)

JOEY BARTOLOMEO, "PEOPLE" MAGAZINE: Beyonce and Jay-Z have been so private about their relationship, so for him to come out and make this revelation in a song is really surprising.

HAMMER: The miscarriage isn`t the only personal revelation this couple is making about the birth of their child. In his song, Jay-Z reveals the baby was conceived in Paris, most likely during this trip nine months ago.

Jay-Z and Beyonce even released a birth announcement that said, quote, "Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful. We are in heaven." Keep in mind this is a couple that never announces anything.

BARTOLOMEO: This is a lot of news for them to be sharing.

HAMMER: Joey Bartolomeo of "People" magazine tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT we`re getting a lot of baby info that a couple who, for the nearly 10 years that they`ve been together, have kept their relationship extremely private.

BARTOLOMEO: Beyonce and Jay-Z didn`t even confirm they were dating until they had been in the relationship for quite some time.

When they finally got married, they didn`t even acknowledge that. And Beyonce didn`t even reveal she was pregnant until she was about five months along when she showed her bump at the MTV Video Music Awards.

It`s really shocking that Jay-Z and Beyonce have put so much information out there about the baby already.

HAMMER: I asked Beyonce about Jay-Z back in 2007. This was a time when the two were barely even mentioning each other`s names in interviews. She told me how important privacy is for her.

BEYONCE, POP STAR: I want to feel like I have a little bit of privacy, a little piece of myself.

HAMMER: So now Jay-Z and Beyonce are lifting that veil of privacy to share the pain and the joy of parenthood. Everyone is wondering, would they go so far as to release a picture of Blue Ivy, the baby everyone is dying to see? After all, we`ve already heard from her.

(MUSIC)

At the end of Jay-Z`s new song "Glory," we hear Blue Ivy making her recording debut. So maybe now that they`re new parents, we`re seeing a new era of openness from the superstar couple.

Yes, this could be a PR effort to improve their image, but maybe, just maybe, they just want everyone to know how happy they are.

BARTOLOMEO: Clearly, Beyonce and Jay-Z are excited new parents. And they really just want to share their joy with everyone.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Wow. I mean, that is just an incredible journey for Beyonce and Jay-Z. And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is going even deeper inside Beyonce`s remarkable story tonight.

Right here in New York, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" co-star Camille Grammer. Also with me, reality TV guru, Omarosa Manigault, who is the west coast editor of "Reality Weekly."

There are so many brand-new details we`ve got to get to about Beyonce`s surprising baby blues. Everybody here at SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was just floored when we heard Jay-Z`s emotional new song, "Glory."

It`s so powerful. I mean, you listen to this thing. You can almost feel Beyonce and Jay-Z`s pain over their previous miscarriage. Let`s listen to a bit of it again.

(MUSIC)

Well, I think it`s terrific that he`s being so open and sharing this so publicly. But I`ve got to tell you I`m really shocked at the fact that he`s doing it. Camille, aren`t you a little surprised? This is such a notoriously private couple.

CAMILLE GRAMMER, REALITY TV STAR, "THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS": That`s it. They`ve always been so private. I am surprised that he did release this song and sing about the miscarriage, which was obviously a very emotional time in their lives, and that`s very personal.

HAMMER: It`s very, very personal. And when you think about the history of how private they are - you saw how Beyonce told me, "Look, there`s some things I just want to keep to myself."

And I totally respect that and I always have because I think they`ve handled that well. This is a couple we didn`t even officially know they were married until weeks after they tied the knot.

But Omarosa, known to be a skeptic, what do you think is really behind the fact that they`re revealing this information? There are cynics out there saying, "Oh, you know, it`s just kind of a little bit of publicity." I think they`re wrong.

OMAROSA MANIGAULT, WEST COAST EDITOR, "REALITY WEEKLY": I think they`re tired of people coming up with their own crazy theories and hypothesis about this relationship. And so I believe that they want to shape the story themselves.

HAMMER: Yes. I think that`s a big part of it.

GRAMMER: Yes.

HAMMER: I think being able to control the story is obviously so important. You guys know all about the need to do that. You`ve both been in situations where that`s been essential.

But perhaps, rather than it one day get out that she had a miscarriage, they totally had control over it. And then you have to think about the fact that every entertainment magazine on the planet is going to be on the hunt for the very first pictures of Beyonce and Jay-Z`s baby.

I can tell you until that first picture lands in a magazine, there is no chance that these guys aren`t going to be completely hounded by all the tabloids.

Let`s talk about that a second. In our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, should Beyonce just release a picture of the baby right away? We`ve seen that work before. Camille, what do you think?

GRAMMER: I think absolutely they have control of it. They can do an exclusive, and the money they receive from it, they can give to a charity.

HAMMER: I mean, really -

MANIGAULT: I kind of like the Sarah Jessica Parker approach. She walked out of the hospital. She showed everyone the baby, and then it died down. I think that`s a good approach as well.

Some people decide to sell the pictures. I think that they`ll keep it kind of private, and I like that. Keep it a class act. Beyonce is a class act.

GRAMMER: Yes.

MANIGAULT: Whichever way she decides to do it, it will be a very class act.

HAMMER: No question about that. I`m actually really curious to see how they handle it because there are a couple of different ways to go here. Who knows exactly what`s going to happen.

Pretty amazing that Beyonce was able to overcome her miscarriage and do it so privately. I give her so much credit for that, keeping it so quiet.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can reveal tonight there is another powerhouse singer who is still deep in crisis tonight. Katy Perry has just tweeted the startling news she`s pulling out of the People`s Choice Awards.

Now, this was supposed to be her first solo appearance, of course after her split from Russell Brand. And I want to read to you what she tweeted about this, "Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the People`s Choice Awards. I want to thank you for voting for me, fingers crossed."

Now, she didn`t say specifically why she pulled out. I think it`s pretty easy to guess she doesn`t want to have to walk the red carpet. But Camille -

GRAMMER: I`ve been there.

HAMMER: If anybody knows what this is like - we`re looking at video right now, you - is that the night that you went to the Tonys with Kelsey, your now-ex husband?

You knew at the time you were walking that red carpet that you weren`t going to be together anymore, but you had to put on a brave face.

GRAMMER: Yes.

HAMMER: What would you tell Katy about dealing with this time and the fact she`s going to have to face the public?

GRAMMER: I guess she backed out, but I didn`t. Kelsey said, "You know what? Let`s just do this," and I agreed with him and we walked the red carpet. But it wasn`t easy. It was very difficult.

HAMMER: Yes. I`m sure it was.

GRAMMER: But stay strong -

HAMMER: I can`t blame Katy for staying solo right now.

GRAMMER: Absolutely.

HAMMER: Camille, Omarosa, great to both have you - have you both here. I want you to stay right here because Camille, of course, there`s news today breaking that Kim Richards is now out of rehab, your co-star from "Real Housewives." I want to find out exactly what you know about that in her long road to recovery.

GRAMMER: OK.

HAMMER: So please stay right where you are. Hopefully, Kim Richards` crisis is over. Katy Perry - it looks like she`s actually blowing up in other ways tonight.

She`s been telling her parents to stop talking about her split. And tonight, her dad is actually getting slammed for outrageous racial anti- Semitic remarks that he made at a church where he preaches.

Abraham Foxman is the national director of the Anti-Defamation League. You can only imagine he is not happy about this tonight. He`s joining me in just a moment for a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.

Right now, the power of song. This is my favorite story tonight. A young woman works her magic to woo funnyman Jason Segel.

(MUSIC)

This is so great. New tonight - how she was inspired by one of Jason`s movies to pull this whole thing off. Tonight, Jason`s songstress right here for a headline-making SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

TEXT: The Black Keys, Radiohead, Dr. Dre to headline Coachella Music Festival. Christina Aguilera admits 2011 was a "rough year" because of her divorce.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer with Katy Perry in crisis. As if Katy doesn`t have enough to worry about from her divorce with Russell Brand, tonight, the heat is really on her father for outrageous anti-Semitic remarks that he reportedly made.

Her preacher dad got slammed for what he told a church congregation in Ohio. Are you ready for this? I`m offended by this, not just as a Jew, but as a human being.

Here`s what he said, "You know how to make the Jew jealous? Have some money, honey. You go to L.A. and they own all the Rolex and diamond places. Walk down a part of L.A. where we live and it is so rich it smells. You ever smell rich? They are all Jews. Hallelujah. Amen."

Unbelievable. Abraham Foxman, the national director of the Anti-Defamation League, is right here tonight for a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview. Abraham, appreciate you being here.

And late today, as we now know, Katy Perry`s father publicly apologized. Let me read the statement that he released. He says, "I deeply regret the hurtful and ugly language I used in my message in Ohio. I used images about Jews rooted in the worst anti-Semitism in the past, images that at times led to the persecution and murder of Jews."

"I can`t tell you where I picked up phrases and descriptions that became part of my vocabulary. I used them without ever considering what they meant. I apologize for the hurt that I caused my Jewish friends. With the help of God, it will not happen again."

Well, Abraham, apology accepted? What do you think?

ABRAHAM FOXMAN, ANTI-DEFAMATION LEAGUE: It`s accepted. I think he needs to say you talk about Katy in crisis. Jewish tradition tells us - teaches us you don`t visit the sins of parents on your children. So you know, it`s not her fault. In a way, because of the celebrity connection, we know about it.

HAMMER: Yes.

FOXMAN: Otherwise, we probably wouldn`t have known about it. We accept the apology. He`s now an enlightened bigot, an enlightened anti-Semite. Of course he`s an anti-Semite. These are words that are part of his being.

HAMMER: He owns up to that. He owns up to that.

FOXMAN: Right. He`s a preacher. A preacher knows the meaning of words. The test is now, what will he do? Will he use that pulpit? Will he use that church pulpit to stand up and condemn the teachings of anti-Semitism, which, unfortunately come also from the church?

HAMMER: True. I mean, because what else does he need to do? Obviously, there`s a lot of people right now and I hear that the ADL has accepted his apology.

But obviously, a lot of people think, OK, well, a publicist got on his case and said, "Write this apology. I will write it for you, put your name to it." Does he need to do something else to make you really, really satisfied?

FOXMAN: It`s the first step. The person who uttered the bigotry has to publicly say, "I apologize. These are not my words." Yes, the next step is he has a church pulpit.

He speaks every Sunday. He teaches. He preaches. The test is to what extent will he now use that bully pulpit to teach against prejudice, to teach against (UNINTELLIGIBLE)?

HAMMER: Well, I hope he does the right thing. Abraham Foxman, thank you so much. I appreciate you being here.

Well, let me bring back in Omarosa. Omarosa is the west coast editor of "Reality Weekly." You see it all, Omarosa.

Do you think Katy Perry actually needs to get involved now and speak out about her father`s remarks, maybe saying that she, too, thinks he was out of line, even though he did apologize?

MANIGAULT: Well, it`s a very delicate line when your parent is the one that`s actually doing this type of behavior, but she certainly needs to make a statement, because whether she likes it or not, he is an extension of her public persona.

And there is really no excuse for his behavior and his statement. And so if she comes out, I think it would go a long way to help to heal after what this father has done.

HAMMER: And here`s the crazy thing to me. Just looking at what has transpired since they announced that they`re getting divorced - Katy Perry and Russell Brand - it seems at this point that Katy`s parents are causing her more grief than Russell or even the divorce from Russell/

MANIGAULT: Absolutely. She just had to tell her father, "Look, Dad, do not speak about my divorce. Don`t speak about my relationship." And she had to put him in check and she needs to step up and put him in check about this.

This is very, very hurtful. And it could be very damaging to her in the long run with her relationship with the Jewish community.

HAMMER: And we know that she stepped away from being part of the People`s Choice Awards.

MANIGAULT: Absolutely.

HAMMER: Originally, it was probably because she didn`t want to have to face questions about Russell. Now, I`m guessing it`s to avoid some even bigger questions about her father.

MANIGAULT: Well, I went through a public divorce. And sometimes, you just need time to yourself. And she has to make the decision when it`s time for her to step out in public.

And if it`s too early, I actually have to respect her decision. But I think the fans would have liked to see her and would have liked to be a part of healing. And they`re not going to have that chance.

HAMMER: We just have to wait, Omarosa.

MANIGAULT: Absolutely.

HAMMER: Thank you so much. I appreciate it.

MANIGAULT: Thank you.

HAMMER: Well, here`s one thing that is no joke in Beverly Hills. It seems the bigger the bank account, the more colossal the problems.

One "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" co-star, fresh out of rehab, everyone getting sucked into Taylor Armstrong`s marriage mess.

Tonight, questions for Camille. Camille Grammer right here, breaking news about every epic moment on her show.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MERYL STREEP, ACTRESS: Teachers cannot teach when there is no heating, no lighting in their classrooms. And I ask the right honorable gentlemen, whose fault is that?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I mean, come on. Just another mesmerizing performance by Meryl Streep there. She transforms into Britain`s first female prime minister in "Iron Lady." But will Meryl become the golden lady on Sunday night?

Meryl also has got to battle a man in this category. Actually, it`s a woman playing a man. That`s just for starters here. The race for best actress in a drama - it is shaping up to be one of the toughest in a long time for the Golden Globes.

Let me bring in SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner. We`re going to take a look at Meryl`s competition here, Nischelle. Is this even a guaranteed win for Meryl this year?

NISCHELLE TURNER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT: Well, you know, A.J., if you haven`t seen it yet, Meryl is fantastic in "Iron Lady." But she`s got some other iron ladies to take on if she`s going to take home the trophy at the Globes.

Now, take a look at this impressive list of nominees. Besides Meryl, you`ve also got Glenn Close who plays a woman portraying a man in "Albert Nobbs"; Viola Davis, who`s nominated for "The Help"; Rooney Mara in "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"; and Tilda Swinton for "We Need to Talk About Kevin."

Now, with the exception of Rooney Mara, A.J., all of these women, over 40, and in the prime of their acting careers.

HAMMER: You know, it`s going to be so interesting to see what happens here. And I love Viola Davis, really, in anything she does. But Meryl does seem unstoppable. Is she?

TURNER: Yes, you know, she`s the odds-on favorite, but "The Help" did get a lot of love from the Hollywood Foreign Press with five nominations. So I do think that Viola Davis has a great chance.

Also, though, Glenn Close - she`s amazing in "Albert Nobbs." And as I mentioned, she swaps gender roles for this film. And critics love this type of transformation, so there is a real possibility for an upset here, A.J.

HAMMER: All right. Nischelle, thanks a lot. We`re going to find out what happens just days from now when you and I right out there on the red carpet at the Golden Globes talking to all the stars on Sunday.

And make sure you join us on Monday morning for all of the Golden Globe shockers Monday at 11:00 a.m. That`s Monday after the Globes on HLN.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A J. Hammer in New York.

And tonight, SHOWBIZ is breaking news about serenading the stars. And man, what a story this is. I love it. A young woman sings a soulful serenade to Jason Segel. He`s the star of "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" of course.

She does it to get a date with him. She puts it on YouTube and, well, it works. And she`s right here tonight. Chelsea Gill is her name.

She had the crazy idea to write her Hollywood crush a song while she was watching one of Jason`s movies. Her friend posted it on YouTube for everybody to see. There are other friends anyway. And the whole thing went crazy viral. Watch this.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: I mean, how do you not love such a catchy tune? And guess what? Jason saw that, reached out to Chelsea and they hooked up in Chicago over the weekend - for a date, that is.

We`ve got this picture to prove it. Chelsea and Jason together in Chicago. Chelsea is with us tonight from Chicago for a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.

So cool. I love this story. The song is funny but so heartfelt. We`re going to take another look at more of it in just a moment. But, wow, are you, like, pinching yourself?

CHELSEA GILL, JASON SEGEL FAN: Yes, a little bit.

HAMMER: I mean, the whole thing just seems so crazy to me that you can actually still do this in 2012. Let`s watch how this whole thing started.

Your fantastic ode to Jason Segel which I understand only took you half an hour to write. That`s pretty impressive. Why don`t you watch it with me?

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: All right. I mean, that`s just amazing to me. And what I love is obviously you really do dig the guy. You`re not just goofing around.

Obviously, we know now he took you up on your offer. You had a drink with Jason in Chicago. So Chelsea, let`s start from the very beginning. It all started with him tweeting a response after he saw your video. When he did that, did you just freak out?

GILL: I freaked out. I was actually at home by myself. I was actually on Twitter. Both my roommates were off working, and he tweeted.

And it was one of those, like, slow motion moments in life where it`s like there`s no way that this is about me. And then he re-tweeted my YouTube video and I started screaming.

I just started running around my apartment screaming. My downstairs neighbor probably thought I was getting murdered. I was running around, freaking out. I called my sister. I called my parents. I called my best friends. It was just amazing.

HAMMER: I wish you had video of you running around your house screaming after that happened. And I`m guessing - I`m just trying to imagine what`s going through your mind when you finally calmed down.

You thought, "Oh, that`s pretty cool," and you probably figured that was it. But as we now know, it wasn`t it. So what happened next and how did it happen?

GILL: What happened was that his publicist was in contact with me, so I knew that something was up, but I didn`t know what.

And then, Saturday morning, I got an E-mail saying that, you know, Jason was going to be in town and he wanted to know if I wanted to go to this awards show with him. And, of course, I said yes.

HAMMER: Yes.

GILL: Who wouldn`t? So, yes, that`s what happened.

HAMMER: And at first, when the publicist reached out, was there a moment when you thought, "Oh, god. Are they going to sue me? Did I do something wrong?"

GILL: No, they`re always really friendly. It was really cool. Always down to earth, so I never felt intimidated once. It was great.

HAMMER: Here`s what I need to know, because you got to buy your dream date a drink. I got to know, what does Jason Segel drink? I`m just curious.

GILL: Oh, my god. He had a white wine, but don`t judge him.

HAMMER: What do you guys talk about? I mean, did it feel like a real hang with another guy? Or did it feel like kind of a goof publicity sort of a thing that inevitably was going to get talked about like this?

GILL: It was absolutely not a gimmick at all. It was 100 percent genuine. Honestly, it felt like hanging out with some of my friends.

He`s so down to earth. We got along really great. We had a great conversation and just hung out. I mean, it was so relaxing and just really cool. Very personal and genuine. Yes.

HAMMER: So I think what everybody wants to know now is what happens next? Is he in your speed dial? Are you texting with the guy? Is there any talk of a second date?

GILL: I don`t think we`re going to have a second date. I mean, the ball is in his court, you know. I`m a classy lady, so I like to be asked out. I asked the first date, so we`ll leave that up to him.

HAMMER: But did you exchange some personal information so if he wanted to, you know, text you directly or something, he can?

GILL: I mean, I don`t have his number or anything like that.

HAMMER: OK.

GILL: But we definitely got along and, you know, we kind of hit it off, so we`re definitely friendly. So, yes.

HAMMER: Just an amazing story. Chelsea, please let us know what happens beyond this if anything at all does. And good on you for it. Chelsea Gill, thanks so much for being with us.

GILL: Thank you.

HAMMER: Well, we must move on now from songstress to secrets. I`m talking about "Beverly Hills Housewives" secrets. Big bombshell developments today with "The Real Housewives" star, Kim Richards reportedly checking out of rehab.

And her co-star, Camille Grammer, right here with us right now breaking big "Housewives" news. And breaking news on "Housewives" is good news for reality TV guru, Omarosa Manigault, who has appeared in I think more than a dozen reality shows at this point. She`s the west coast editor of "Reality Weekly."

It`s a new magazine that goes inside the world of reality TV, and she just told me a job built for her. It is great to see you both. Terrific having you here.

So "Us Weekly" is reporting, Camille, that Kim is out of rehab and she is doing well. What do you know about how she`s doing?

GRAMMER: Well, I haven`t heard anything as of today. I saw her sister Kyle last week at the reunion show. We shot our big reunion show. And she said that Kim was doing great and she was on the road to recovery and that she was doing so well and that she would be coming home soon.

So I`m very proud of Kim. I think it`s very courageous that she took that leap. And like I said, I`m just extremely proud of her.

HAMMER: Sure. I mean, it`s always great news. If somebody needs help, they go and get the help. Let`s hope it sticks and she continues to get the resources she needs.

MANIGAULT: I`m curious to know what she`s in rehab for. Are you allowed to say? Is it alcohol? Is it drugs? It`s never been clear to me. According to Brandi, it`s other things.

HAMMER: Well - yes. And that`s the thing. And nothing has ever been officially confirmed from Kim`s camp.

GRAMMER: Right.

HAMMER: So we really sort of have to leave it at that. But looking back at the season of the "Real Housewives," you`re on it. You`re watching every episode because that`s your job and something you love.

But there have been a lot of questions about Kim`s sobriety on the show. And in fact, it was co-star Brandi Glanville, as you mentioned, who accused Kim of being wasted right on the show in a scene like this.

Kim was reportedly in rehab for a month. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT did reach out to her today. We didn`t hear back as of show time. But do you think her addiction battle, Omarosa, should be a storyline included on the show?

MANIGAULT: Well, you`re talking to someone who has been on over 20 reality shows, and you live your life in front of the camera. You cannot dissect your life and decide what part of your life of it is going to make for good TV and what part you want to keep private. Once you decide to make that leap to go on reality - and I think Camille will tell you - it`s all fair game.

HAMMER: Yes. Well, we certainly have seen that with you in the past, and we see it all the time on "Real Housewives." And there`s no denying, having watched the season, that Kim`s behavior was erratic during the show, and she was unable to attend the reunion special.

How bad was that behavior? Was it as bad or worse than what we actually saw?

GRAMMER: Well, I didn`t see that much of it because she didn`t show up a lot, so I didn`t have a lot of interaction with Kim during this season. But you see some of it in Hawaii with her and her new boyfriend. So, you know -

HAMMER: Which didn`t surprise you when you saw it?

GRAMMER: No.

HAMMER: All right. Camille, listen, hang around because I`ve got to ask about your fiery relationship with another one of your co-stars.

Of course, we saw a lot of interaction between you and Taylor Armstrong on the show. After all, it was you who outed Taylor and Russell`s marriage problems.

I want to know how big of a strain that put on your relationship with Taylor. We`re going to get to that in just a moment. Stay right where you are, won`t you?

As we move on tonight, Kim Kardashian dumped for a dog? Kim K`s steamy Super Bowl commercial turned a whole lot of heads last year, of course.

Well, now, the company is actually dropping Kim for a bulldog. Did Kim`s divorce disaster have something to do with this?

Also, Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor? What do you think? Are you kidding me here? Is Lilo really taking on the role of an iconic movie star? Is this exactly the kind of role she needs? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - these are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

TEXT: Russell Brand to host late night talk show on Fox. Justin Bieber on maintaining his good image as he gets older.

"I`m not going to go out there and start partying, have people see me with alcohol. I don`t want to start singing about things like sex, drugs and swearing." - Justin Bieber.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Because we don`t say that he hit you, because we don`t say that he broke your jaw or that he beat you up and he hit you. We don`t say that, but now we said it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: A tough, tense moment. That`s "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" exposing secrets and confronting painful truths and confronting Taylor Armstrong about whether her late husband beat her up.

Tonight, Beverly Hills housewife Camille Grammer is right here. She`s got the inside story, of course, behind the dramatic revelation that would forever change their lives.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Beverly Hills secrets.

In one of the most dramatic seasons of reality TV, the stars of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" are putting it all on the line - their rages, their grace, their emotional loyalties. It`s all unfolding before the cameras right in front of us. But imagine what don`t see.

Well, who better to fill us in on what we`re missing than Camille Grammer, the breakout star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Camille joining me in New York for this SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.

It`s terrific to see you. I do want to talk to you about that blow-up. Ever since I saw that scene, I`ve been wanting to know what was really going on in everybody`s minds at the time.

But first, break some news for me. I`ve got to know if you`re coming back to the show for season three. I haven`t heard word yet.

GRAMMER: I don`t know. Nobody`s approached me yet, so we`ll see. It`s up in the (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

HAMMER: The season was obviously so tough on so many levels for so many people.

GRAMMER: Yes.

HAMMER: Do you even want to do it again, or did this kind of wear you down?

GRAMMER: It was an emotional season. The last two years have been difficult for me, you know. It is tough to make that decision. I mean, I would have to think about it before I went back, but I haven`t heard anything yet.

HAMMER: OK. So it`s not as simple as if you get a phone call, "OK, I`m in."

GRAMMER: No, it`s never that simple.

HAMMER: You don`t think about it?

GRAMMER: Because last year, I said I definitely wouldn`t come back and I came back. So -

HAMMER: I mean, because when you look back at what we`ve seen unfold - really, there`s never been anything like it on television, ever. Such highs. Such lows.

And we just saw a little bit of one of the most uncomfortable moments, I thought, from the season when you essentially outed Taylor Armstrong and Russell Armstrong for the problems that they were having in their marriage.

That put a huge strain on your relationship with Taylor, as we know. Let`s watch some more of that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Hi, I`m sorry.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Tonight has been far more difficult than I imagined. I do not think that people understand the gravity of the situation that I`m dealing with.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: In my life there are people I trust and there are people I don`t trust. I don`t want to be betrayed.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Camille, the look on your face, you know, says a thousand words. So I see that in some of the other tensions that arose and have been arising in the course of the season.

It makes me imagine it`s impossible that you guys are actually even friends at all anymore. What is your relationship like with her?

You know, we`re in good terms. We speak to one another. We saw each other at the reunion show. It was a little tense at first because, you know, you`re not sure. But -

HAMMER: Do you stay in touch with her outside of when you have to run into each other for work?

GRAMMER: You know, I have texted her throughout the time after, you know, this horrific incident happened and - just to check in on her and make sure she was OK.

HAMMER: Has she been responsive?

GRAMMER: Yes, she has been responsive. At first, she wasn`t, but then, yes, after the unfortunate thing happened with her ex-husband, or late ex- husband, yes.

HAMMER: And at one point, Russell was so upset with the fact that you said what you said that he actually threatened to sue you and that really put everybody on edge. The other housewives even turned Taylor and Russell away from a party just to protect you. Let`s watch a bit of that.

GRAMMER: OK.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What`s wrong?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: What?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: What`s wrong?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I don`t know if you know, the E-mail you sent Camille, I guess now her lawyers are saying that she can`t be around you guys. And I think (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It`s OK. It`s OK. Don`t feel bad. Listen, listen, it is what it is.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. And as we know, obviously, Russell would later commit suicide for reasons unrelated to that. But knowing that, I see the look of strain on your face just watching that.

GRAMMER: Yes, it`s so uncomfortable to watch that.

HAMMER: So what goes through you`re mind knowing now what happened?

GRAMMER: In terms of what?

HAMMER: When you take a look at a scene like that?

GRAMMER: It`s very difficult for me to watch that because it`s upsetting, and it`s almost like it`s unsettling and it`s creepy.

And I feel bad for Kyle that she had to ask them to leave because I would never ask anybody to leave a party. And I was in the back of the party having a good time, so I didn`t even know they had arrived. I didn`t know any of this was going on.

HAMMER: So it was just tough.

GRAMMER: It was just difficult.

HAMMER: Let`s have a happy moment now.

GRAMMER: OK.

HAMMER: Do we have some video we can put up here, Charles, from Camille and I together last year?

GRAMMER: OK. Oh -

HAMMER: No, it`s just a year ago. There we are, red carpet, the Oscars. What a great night that was.

GRAMMER: That was so much fun.

HAMMER: Are you looking forward to watching the Oscars this year?

GRAMMER: Yes, I am.

HAMMER: In particular?

GRAMMER: Well, it`s great just to see, you know, George Clooney up against Brad Pitt.

HAMMER: I know. That sounds good.

GRAMMER: That`s going to be exciting, huh?

HAMMER: Who is going to take that, before I let you go?

GRAMMER: Oh, I don`t know. Probably George.

HAMMER: There you go. You said it.

GRAMMER: I said it.

HAMMER: Camille Grammer, great to see you. Let us know what happens with season three.

GRAMMER: OK.

HAMMER: It`s always a pleasure.

GRAMMER: Thank you.

HAMMER: As we move on tonight, is Lindsay Lohan about to play one of the most famous Beverly Hills wives ever? Well, there are reports that La Lohan might actually play Liz Taylor.

And Nick Cannon`s rollercoaster ride at the hospital ends with some good news. That story is top of "The Buzz Today."

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) Nick`s road to recovery. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you Nick Cannon just checked out of the hospital after suffering what was described as mild kidney failure last week.

Cannon`s rep tells us, "He is resting and recovering at home and would like to thank everyone who has expressed concern, well wishes and prayers."

He plans to return to his live radio show on January 17th.

Lindsay`s Liz Taylor moment? Lindsay Lohan may have just found her newest Hollywood icon to imitate. After just channeling Marilyn Monroe for "Playboy," she`s now reportedly ready to become Elizabeth Taylor on TV.

"The Hollywood Reporter" says Lohan is in early talks to play Taylor in a movie for "Lifetime." Lindsay`s rep tells us they`re not commenting.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

So no word on Lindsay`s big movie plans. But I`ve got some Miley Cyrus movie news for you.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MILEY CYRUS, ACTRESS AND SINGER: Lola! I know that this looks bad.

DEMI MOORE, ACTRESS: It looks really bad. You`re grounded.

HAMMER: Miley has sex in her new movie. It`s her incredible new project with Demi Moore as her mom. Your SHOWBIZ first look at Miley`s new film, "LOL," next. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

ANNOUNCER: Meet Lola.

CYRUS: Everyone calls me Lol.

ANNOUNCER: She`s at that special age when hearts are broken.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Miss me?

CYRUS: You didn`t call or text me.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: I kind of hooked up with this girl. That`s the girl?

ANNOUNCER: And connections are made.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: I`m here.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: And your reason for being late is?

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Oh, you`re going to laugh.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: This is as much as I laugh.

MARLO THOMAS, ACTRESS: Come here.

CYRUS: You didn`t sleep with her.

ANNOUNCER: Demi Moore.

MOORE: You`re trying to get rid of me.

CYRUS: I hate her. Look at her. I wish I had her ass though.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: There you go. No release date yet, but look for it later this year. I`m betting Kim Kardashian isn`t laughing out loud tonight.

She`s been dumped for dogs. The company behind one of her steamiest ads just cut Kim loose. Is it because of her divorce drama? I`ve got that story coming up.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Keeping up with the bulldogs? Yes, it actually looks like Kim Kardashian`s career as a sexy sneakers spokesperson is going to the dogs, literally. How can we forget this fine ad?

It`s Kim`s racy Super Bowl commercial for Skechers. Well, Skechers just revealed Kim is out and a French bulldog is in. The shoe company tells "USA Today" it has nothing to do with Kim`s high-profile divorce.

They say, "Kim got us more attention than we ever dreamed. Now, we have to establish Skechers as more than a lifestyle company."

And the new ad apparently is going to feature a bulldog wearing the company`s sneakers while racing greyhounds. And I have a feeling Kim K. won`t be hurting too much at the bank.

And that is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer. Remember, you can catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusively weeknights, 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific right here on HLN.

Stay right here for Dr. Drew, next. Tonight, Dr. Drew has the disturbing story of a former teacher of the year who is charged with molesting 20 children, starting right now.
