GRACE: Good evening. I`m Nancy Grace. I want to thank you for being with us. We are live this hour, searchers combing canyons near Fallbrook, California, for a gorgeous young Marine wife, Brittany Killgore. In the last hours, Brittany`s cell phone found discarded, downtown San Diego, as her husband travels through the night from Afghanistan to join the search for his missing wife.

But right now, first live to the Houston suburbs. As we go to air, a 3-day-old boy literally snatched from his mother outside their pediatrician`s office. This has just happened. The mom then gunned down in the parking lot there at the pediatrician`s office, as the baby is stuffed into an aqua blue Lexus that then speeds away toward I-45 there in Texas.

We are taking your calls. There is an Amber Alert on the 3-day-old baby boy, his name Keegan Schuchardt, 3 days old. He`s wearing a green and white striped onesie, you know the little outfits that snap between the legs, and it says "Handsome" on the front.

Take a look at this baby. Right now, this baby has been kidnapped outside the pediatrician`s office, the mother taking the baby likely in for his first visit since coming home from the hospital.

You`re seeing an aerial view right now of outside the pediatrician`s office, the mom gunned down outside her pickup truck there in the parking lot. This apparently unknown female then grabs the baby, baby Keegan, and takes off as the mom lies there in the parking lot bleeding. We are hearing unconfirmed from police right now that police believe there`s actually blood on the side of the Lexus vehicle that the attacker was driving.

We are waiting for a press conference to take you live. And as we do, straight out to Jean Casarez with "In Session." Jean, what do you know?

JEAN CASAREZ, "IN SESSION" (via telephone): Nancy, police are saying that two people are armed and dangerous tonight. And you`re right, it emulated (ph) in southeast Texas near Houston. It`s believed that they`re going north on I-45. But Nancy, you know as well as I do how many interstates intersect through Houston, Texas, area.

But it all started it at the Northwoods Pediatric Center. It was around 2:40 this afternoon. A young mother was taking her 3-day-old baby back out to their truck, and there was a Lexus parked right next to it. As she was trying to get in her vehicle, a woman, police say, got out with a pistol, possibly a .9-millimeter, and just started shooting.

What happened then was, it`s believed a man that was in the vehicle also got out around, grabbed the baby, and they took off in that Lexus. So it is a Lexus. The woman that it`s believed that shot the young mother, African-American, gray sweatshirt, bluejeans with blond hair.

GRACE: We are getting multiple reports from the Montgomery County police reporter, from the Caring for Our Children Foundation, from multiple news outlets that the mom`s name is Kayla Marie Golden -- Kayla Marie Golden. We are hearing this.

Right now, you`re seeing an aerial view of what has gone down in the Houston suburbs. A mother coming out of the pediatrician`s office with her newborn baby boy, baby Keegan, is gunned down outside her pickup truck. As she`s trying to put the baby in the pickup truck, this unknown female in an aqua blue Lexus takes the baby after shooting the mother, and takes off headed toward I-45.

Joining me right now, senior investigative reporter with KTRH, Joe Gomez. Joe, what is going on?

JOE GOMEZ, KTRH: Yes, this is pretty shocking, Nancy. Now, according to police, this woman apparently got into a fight with some other -- the suspected shooter just outside the pediatric center. That`s when this woman took out what is believed to be a .9-millimeter pistol and just opened fire up to seven shots, Nancy. This mother received up to seven shots. And when that shooter took away her baby...

GRACE: OK, Joe...

GOMEZ: ... this mother still had the energy...

CASAREZ: Joe...

GOMEZ: ... and the strength...

GRACE: Joe...

GOMEZ: ... to chase after her.

GRACE: Joe -- Joe, the mother is dead. I`m reading the wires right now. The mother is dead. We believe the mother`s name is Kayla Marie Golden -- is dead after this shooting. She was at the doctor`s office with her 3-day-old baby boy, Keegan. We are just getting reports that the mother is, in fact, dead.

Joe Gomez, what more can you tell me?

GOMEZ: Yes, Nancy, you know, this woman received several gunshot wounds at the time, and she was taken to Memorial Herman hospital, where, apparently, we`ve just been informed, in fact, as you mentioned, Nancy, she has, in fact, perished.

GRACE: Clark Goldband joining me on the story. Clark, let`s go through what we know right now.

CLARK GOLDBAND, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER: OK, Nancy. We know -- and this continues to change by the minute, a very fluid and breaking story. It started outside of this pediatrician`s office. The mom comes out with just her 3-day-old baby. Words were exchanged with someone sitting inside of a blue Lexus luxury vehicle. And then gunshots erupted, witnesses saying up to seven gunshots pumped into the mom. And she eventually, as you said, perished. The baby was snatched.

And Nancy, we are also now receiving new information. Law enforcement thinks that possibly a smaller caliber gun was used. Might be a .9- millimeter pistol.

GRACE: A .9-millimeter. To Sheryl McCollum, very quickly, crime analyst -- a .9-millimeter?

SHERYL MCCOLLUM, CRIME ANALYST: Right. Nancy, what they need to do immediately is start looking for links at the hospital, start looking for links (INAUDIBLE) the child`s father, the child`s mother that maybe they don`t even realize exist right now.

Time is of the essence. I believe that baby was the target. I do not believe that this was an argument. I think this was a kidnap.

GRACE: Everybody, we are taking your calls. We are live right now as we learn a young mother gunned down outside the pediatrician`s office. As we go to air, we get the wrenching news this child`s mother is dead.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Breaking news, Houston, a new mother gunned down outside a Houston pediatrician`s office, her 3-day-old baby snatched. Reports are a woman driving a light blue or green-colored Lexus pulled up to the doctor`s office, got out of the car and shot her target, while a man reportedly went to the mom`s car and kidnapped her baby. Police now on the lookout for the four-door Lexus, desperately trying to find the baby. The mom taken for emergency treatment at a local hospital.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: A 3-day-old newborn is missing after the baby`s mom reportedly gunned down in a Houston parking lot. A man and a woman in a light blue or green-colored Lexus reportedly staked out the mom`s pediatrician`s office. The woman reportedly got out of the Lexus, firing multiple gunshots on the mother. The man reportedly grabbed the baby from the mother`s car. A desperate search now under way for the man and woman, reportedly last seen traveling on a local interstate.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Everyone, we are bringing you breaking news as it is happening. We started the show less than 15 minutes ago believing that there had been a shooting, that this child was abducted outside a pediatrician`s office.

I am now learning that there is a statewide emergency alert. The shooting happens in Spring, near Houston. The infant, Keegan, just 3 days old, was wrenched away from his mother. A woman there in the parking lot outside the pediatrician`s office opens fire with what we believe to be a .9-millimeter weapon, shooting the mom, we believe, seven times.

We`re waiting for confirmation that the mom is 28-year-old Kayla Marie Golden -- Kayla Marie Golden -- and that even after having been shot multiple times, as she`s lying there, the mother tries to reach up into the blue Lexus to get her child. But the Lexus actually hits her. The Lexus hits the mother lying there, dying on the pavement before it speeds away.

Witnesses reporting hearing up to seven gunshots, a Lieutenant Dan Norris (ph) stating a man also in the Lexus, which they are convinced is bloodstained on the driver`s side.

Straight back out to Joe Gomez. Where are they saying the Lexus is headed? Let`s put out an APB right now, Joe.

GOMEZ: Well, that`s right, Nancy. It`s northbound on I-45. I-45 is a major interstate in the Houston area. That goes straight up all the way, access to Dallas and God knows where after that. But yes, this shooter could be anywhere. The baby could be anywhere, Nancy. This is a very terrifying thing going on right now.

GRACE: OK, hold on. To the control room. Let`s log in and find me the exact wording in the Amber Alert. There`s an Amber Alert on baby Keegan right now, and maybe we can get an update on the description of this vehicle. Maybe somebody`s even gotten a partial tag number.

We are taking your calls. Out to Marc Klaas, president and founder of Klaas Kids Foundation. This is your specialty, a missing person. Help me out, Marc.

MARC KLAAS, KLAAS KIDS FOUNDATION: Well, this is the perfect use of an Amber Alert, although one wishes that it had been issued almost immediately because it was an obvious need to get something out there.

They know what this car looks like. They know what this woman looks like. They know the direction that she is headed. I think it`s going to not be too long before they`re able to solve this case. One would only hope that they`re able to do it while the baby is still safe.

Nancy, I believe that they`re going to need to look into the mother`s personal effects, into her cell phone records, into her computer records. The same thing with the baby`s father. And I`m sure that will help lead them right to the suspects in this case.

GRACE: Three-day-old baby Keegan Schuchardt kidnapped. From what we understand -- and we`re waiting for confirmation -- the mom is 28-year-old Kayla Marie Golden, married to Keith Golden.

We are taking your calls. Do I have Sheryl McCollum back yet, Liz? Sheryl, what can we learn from the crime scene? The photos that I have been shown shows the pickup truck doors still open...

MCCOLLUM: Sure.

GRACE: ... two doors to the pickup. That obviously means there was a -- the front cab and then a spot for someone to sit in the back, one of those big cabs.

MCCOLLUM: Right.

GRACE: The mom was gunned down right beside the pickup truck.

MCCOLLUM: The good news is, Nancy, because her blood is also going to be on the Lexus when that vehicle is recovered, they`ll be able to match that up. We`ve got shell casings at the scene. Possibly there we`re going to have fingerprints or other DNA evidence.

Here`s the thing. The Lexus could have been stolen, so again, they need to run that to see if anybody`s, you know, reported that car stolen. Also, they may have already ditched it. They could have gone straight to the airport, Nancy.

GRACE: What do we know about what the perp is wearing, Jean Casarez, the female?

CASAREZ: OK, this is what we know. We want to tell everybody we`ve just found out we believe that these people in the Lexus are going southbound on Interstate 45, which is important. This is a fluid case. This is developing right now. But it is believed the female in the Lexus is wearing a gray sweatshirt top, bluejeans, and has blond hair.

GRACE: Suspect wearing gray sweatshirt, bluejeans, driving light blue or sea green newer model Lexus, unknown license plate, southbound -- did you say southbound on I-45?

CASAREZ: Yes, southbound on I-45 is what law enforcement is saying right now.

GRACE: I`m getting southbound on Borough Park (ph) towards I-45. What does that mean, Joe Gomez?

GOMEZ: Well, that`s an area known as the Woodlands, Nancy. This is (INAUDIBLE) where this area (ph) happened. That`s just north of Houston, a very densely wooded area, of course. Bush Intercontinental Airport is just down to the south. So I guess it`s possible that could be where she`s headed.

GRACE: Let me see a map, Liz. Let me see a map to -- let`s figure out what Joe Gomez is saying. And I`m getting a report right now on the tag number -- H Herman -- F Frank or S Sally? H Herman, F -- S -- S -- Sally, L Liz 325. HFL-325 is the license plate on that. Everyone, tip line 936-760-5876.

Right now, there is a young man learning that his wife is dead. She was pronounced dead at Herman Memorial at the Woodlands in Texas, according to our reports. These are the photos that we are obtaining from "The New York Daily News," the shots of 28-year-old Kayla Marie Golden and husband, Keith.

We are waiting confirmation on other facts, but the tag number -- let`s put it up, Liz -- H Herman, S sally, L Liz, 325 on a sea green Lexus four-door newer model, with blood on the side of the door.

OK, very quickly, I want to go back to you, Jean Casarez. Explain to me what more you`re hearing, the breaking news that we`re hearing right now.

CASAREZ: Well, they`re armed and dangerous, and that is the concern. And with a baby in the car, the baby could be at risk for his or her life. This is a 3-day-old baby. They have kidnapped this baby.

This is the state of Texas, Nancy. Not only is this potentially -- and you have confirmed the murder -- but this is also a kidnapping. This could be the death penalty.

GRACE: We are live and taking your calls. Unleash the lawyers, Pamela Bethel, former federal prosecutor joining me out of D.C., Peter Odom, defense attorney, Atlanta, Renee Rockwell, defense attorney, Atlanta.

First to you, Pamela. Weigh in.

PAMELA BETHEL, FORMER FEDERAL PROSECUTOR: This is just horrible. This is just absolutely a prosecutor`s office and law enforcement nightmare. Got a young mother gunned down on the street, we now know is dead, and we`ve got unstable criminals driving around with a baby. You know, the sense of concern for the child -- this could be state charges. If they go over -- across state lines, these could be federal charges. This is just a law enforcement nightmare.

GRACE: Well, it sounds to me as if there`s going to be a plethora, a treasure trove of evidence, Renee Rockwell, if they get the car.

RENEE ROCKWELL, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Well, Nancy, they`ve got the tag. They`ve got the color. How many...

GRACE: I`m glad you mentioned that. Let`s put it out there again, H Herman, S Sally, L Liz 325. And get me a mock-up, pronto, Liz, if you can, of a newer model Lexus four-door.

You`re seeing aerial shots right now of Mom`s pickup, the doors still wide open, obviously, the Lexus having been parked right beside it, the mom left bleeding to death on the floor -- the parking lot floor. She was pronounced dead at Herman Memorial, the Woodlands, Texas.

This has all gone down in the last hours. In that Lexus speeding away is 3-day-old Keegan Schuchardt. He was coming for his first visit after birth at the pediatrician`s office, the routine visit. And now 28-year-old mom Kayla Marie Golden is dead.

Go ahead, Peter.

PETER ODOM, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Nancy, I don`t believe that this is a case involving an acquaintance. I think that this is a child that was stolen specifically for trafficking. The person that did this horrible crime obviously was targeting a pediatrician`s office.

We all know that hospitals are so secure now, it`s almost impossible to steal a child from a hospital. But a pediatrician`s office with young mothers coming in and out -- that may well be a random case.

GRACE: We are taking your calls. The tip line 936-760-5876. Amber Alert now.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

GRACE: We are live and taking your calls right now. A 28-year-old young mother has been pronounced dead at Herman Memorial, the Woodlands, Texas, this after she takes her three-day-old baby boy Keegan to a routine physical there at the pediatrician`s office. This is his first visit after being born. But she comes out to get into her red pickup truck there in the parking lot, an aqua blue Lexus, a newer model, license tag, HSL-325, a black female, an African-American female, gets out of the Lexus, opens fire on the mom.

Now witnesses stating the woman repeatedly shoots Golden, grabbing the baby, speeding away, hitting Golden as Golden is screaming, my baby, my baby, and trying to reach into the Lexus. Witnesses reporting as many as seven gunshots, that there is a man in the Lexus, which is bloodstained on the driver`s side.

Out to the lines, Colleen in Michigan. Colleen, what`s your question?

COLLEEN, CALLER FROM MICHIGAN: Yes, Nancy, first of all I just want to tell you God bless you for everything you do for victims and their families.

GRACE: Thank you.

COLLEEN: And I just -- I just respect you so much. I wanted to know in Texas, as we do in Michigan, do they put up roadblocks on major highways and freeways and interstate roads?

GRACE: What about it, Joe Gomez, senior investigative reporter, KTRH? You`re joining us right now from Houston? What do you know?

JOE GOMEZ, REPORTER, KTRH RADIO: Well, Nancy, if they have reason to believe that the suspected shooter would be in a certain area, you bet they`d be blocking off those highways. I mean the police down here are very thorough. In Texas we`ve basically seen it all.

GRACE: You are seeing a map here of where this all went down after a beautiful Christmastime wedding, 28-year-old, Kayla Marie Golden gunned down in the pediatrician parking lot taking her child, three-day-old Keegan, for his first checkup, his first checkup after coming home from the hospital.

Caryn Starks, psychologist, New York, what does it say to you that they took the baby? See, I don`t think this is necessarily just an altercation where the women had words in the parking lot because if they had gotten into it, hey, you parked too close to my car or something like that, why would she take the baby, and why would she shoot the victim -- shooting -- peeling off seven rounds, Caryn Stark?

CARYN STARK, PSYCHOLOGIST: Nancy, that is correct. Something is very, very wrong here. They shouldn`t have done that. It should have just been an argument, and so we have to suspect that they wanted this baby. This baby is what it`s all about. And I can`t begin to imagine what kind of danger the baby is in because the woman is now dead, and when you`re talking about a dead mother, I mean, for them, the people that killed her, you would think they`d want to dump the baby to get this over with as quickly as possible and escape if they possibly can.

It was about the baby, maybe they want to sell the baby, maybe they want a baby. But it is not about a parking lot argument. Not at all.

GRACE: And the mom reaching out. You know, Caryn Stark, you and I were texting incessantly when I took the twins for their first checkup after being born, remember? They were in the hospital for a while, and then they came home and I didn`t even want to take them back outside because it was cold. And I was so worried about it.

Can you imagine what was going through this mom`s mind, Caryn Stark?

STARK: And I remember it all, Nancy.

GRACE: And according to these witnesses -- according to these witnesses, they hear the mother screaming, my baby, my baby, and she tries to reach into the -- into the Lexus and it speeds away and hits her, Caryn Stark, as if seven rounds isn`t enough. The car actually hits the mother?

STARK: They wanted to make sure that she was dead, and that is very, very strange, because now they could be killed themselves. So they`re carrying around this baby. There`s something about this baby that they want, and your instincts are correct because any new mother in that situation would cling to the baby and would be so frightened, I can`t begin to imagine.

GRACE: And, Dr. Bill Manion, New Jersey medical examiner joining us tonight out of Philly. Dr. Manion, what condition would the mother be in three days after delivery, and what condition is the baby in right now? And danger that it is in.

DR. BILL MANION, M.D., MEDICAL EXAMINER, BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ: Well, this is a newborn. It`s six pounds, 15 ounces, so it`s a good size. However, it`s feeding schedule really hasn`t been established very well and I think it would be subject to dehydration. The problems with fluids and formula. And it certainly is not going to get the kind of care right now that that mother was giving it. So I`m very concerned about this newborn.

GRACE: Doctor, I just remember that Lucy was born at 2 pounds, John David at 5 pounds, and my mission was to make them live. And I don`t know what condition or if this baby has any ailments. We`re learning more as each minute passes, I`m learning the doctor`s office is in an area that is surrounded by strip malls.

Liz, let me see an aerial shot. Let me see everything you`ve got. That one witness was inside the doctor`s office, heard gunshots, saw the Lexus. Then people start running into the doctor`s office saying somebody`s been shot, somebody`s been shot. As of right now nothing as to the location of this car.

We are taking your calls, to Shelly in Michigan. Hi, Shelly. What`s your question?

SHELLY, CALLER FROM MICHIGAN: Hi, Nancy, I was just calling to say thank you for all that you do. We`ve been following you from day one. My question is why did she go to the doctor`s office alone? I know when I had my daughter I was not allowed to drive a car for six weeks and had somebody go with me.

GRACE: Interesting. Interesting. Did you have vaginal or cesarean?

SHELLY: Vaginal.

GRACE: You know what, as I recall, I wasn`t supposed to drive either. Dr. Manion, what about it?

MANION: Well, childbirth is a stress, certainly a stress on the body, and patients may be anemic afterwards, patients certainly are weakened afterwards, and, yes, I would have preferred her having someone take her and the baby to the doctor. Absolutely.

GRACE: But, you know, what if she just didn`t have anybody because she was absolutely alone. We are hearing that a pair of sandals and a pocketbook also found there near the car.

To Renee Rockwell, so you`ve got murder and felony kidnap of a child. This sounds like a death penalty to me if they catch this woman.

RENEE ROCKWELL, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Absolutely, Nancy. And how would you be sure that it`s a woman? Why isn`t a man with a wig on? Think about this, a sweatshirt, it was 81 degrees in Houston today. This was absolutely premeditated and I don`t know if that baby was the target. It could have been any baby coming out that door.

GRACE: Well, according to all reports -- out to you, Jean Casarez -- there`s no doubt that it was a woman with a man in the car, right?

JEAN CASAREZ, LEGAL CORRESPONDENT, "IN SESSION": Two vehicles, that is right. And I think we need to reiterate that the little baby, the three-day-old baby had a jumpsuit on that said "handsome" on it that snapped at the crotch area. That`s important because this baby is what is important now to save this child.

GRACE: Everybody, we are taking your calls. Out to Dietrich in Colorado. Hi, Dietrich, what`s your question?

DIETRICH, CALLER FROM COLORADO: Hi, Nancy. It`s nice talking with you.

GRACE: Likewise.

DIETRICH: I`ve been a fan of yours since the O.J. trial. First of all, sincere heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of this young lady. However, would there be a -- number one, surveillance within the parking lot and, number two, more important, is there a tracking device, a Lexus is a fairly expensive car, and is there a tracking device on the Lexus they could possibly track with it?

GRACE: Ooh, excellent thought, Dietrich in Colorado.

Liz, get in touch with the Lexus dealership right now. Let`s see what we can find out. Excellent thought.

Sheryl McCollum, crime analyst, what do you make it?

SHERYL MCCOLLUM, CRIME ANALYST, DIR. OF COLD CASE INVESTIGATIVE RESEARCH INSTITUTE, POLYGRAPH ANALYSIS EXPERT: You know what? A great place to steal a car is the airport. A great place to take the car back is the airport. I`m telling you there is more in evidence that car than we can even dream. And you know, Renee Rockwell may be on to something. The person very well may have been in a wig. But the baby restraint, if they took the baby out of the car seat, we may have a beautiful thumbprint right there on that car seat.

GRACE: But what I`m saying is, back to Dietrich in Colorado, this area is like -- it`s glutted with strip malls around where this doctor`s office is, this pediatrician. There`s got to be surveillance video but, hey, I`ve already got the tag number. An Amber alert is out right now.

Marc Klaas, how better can this be publicized? HSL-325.

MARC KLAAS, PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER, KLAASKIDS FOUNDATION: They`ve got absolutely every piece of information they need. They should be able to track this car down to the owner. They will be able to find out whether or not it was stolen but they will find the car and hopefully they will find the perpetrators.

The thing that troubles me, though, is if this wasn`t personal, if this wasn`t about this woman, why pump seven bullets into her? Why not just take the baby and run and leave her alive?

GRACE: Exactly. Seven rounds plus the car hit her as it sped away? You know what, I care about the car for evidence, but what I want is the baby.

Tonight there is an Amber alert issued in the last hours as we go to air, the mom of this child has been pronounced dead at Herman Memorial Hospital. The search for this baby is on.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

GRACE: We are live and taking your calls. In the last hours this baby abducted outside its pediatrician`s office there -- near the Houston suburbs. We are taking your calls. We are learning that the kidnappers are in an aqua blue Lexus.

Look at this post. Baby Keegan is here, six pounds, 15 ounces, 20 inches long, looks like me. Keith Schuchardt getting the worst news of a lifetime, his wife gunned down. As we go to air she is pronounced dead at Herman Memorial Hospital, The Woodlands, Texas, and the kidnappers have his child. Three-day-old baby Keegan.

I am learning now the suspect took the child`s infant carrier, did not take the base of the carrier. Her wearing gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, driving light blue sea green, newer model Lexus.

Clark, what are you learning about the Lexus -- I know about the first generation Lexus Links system.

CLARK GOLDBAND, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER, COVERING STORY: Right.

GRACE: What more can you tell me?

GOLDBAND: Nancy, there`s also a newer system called Safety Connect that is available in most newer Lexus models. If law enforcement contacts Lexus they can track the vehicle using cellular and GPS technology that is embedded inside the car. So that could be a possibility in this situation using this new Lexus Safety Connect technology.

GRACE: Lexus Safety Connect.

Out to the lines, Emily, Alabama. Hi, Emily, what`s your question?

EMILY, CALLER FROM ALABAMA: My question is the three-day-old visit with -- most babies don`t go back for three days, they don`t go back for two weeks, so did someone call her to have her come in, or did she go in for a reason? And, second question is the male that was driving the car, is he African-American or is he white?

GRACE: Good question. Joe Gomez, did someone set this whole thing up and tell her to come in? And was the male driving or was he the wing man? What do you know?

GOMEZ: Well, what we know is that it was the female that was driving and the male was just in the car for the ride. As far as the mother, she was supposed to go to the pediatrician`s office beforehand as I understand it, she was going to go for a checkup for the baby and the baby had a clean bill of health, Nancy.

GRACE: Let me see a picture of baby Keegan very quickly. Baby Keegan, three days old, wearing a green and white one-piece outfit, wearing a little onesie that snaps between the legs with the word "handsome" on it. The perps unload seven rounds on mom as she tries to reach out, screaming out, my baby, my baby, into the Lexus and actually hits her as it drives away.

Here you`re seeing a shot of mom, Kayla Marie Golden, according to our sources, aged 28 years old. Husband Keith, there in a Christmastime wedding.

Back to the lines, Khabira in North Carolina. Hi, what`s your question?

KHABIRA, CALLER FROM NORTH CAROLINA: Hi, Nancy. I love you and your passion for justice. My question was similar to the caller before about a baby`s first checkup is six weeks after it`s born. In three days, you should have just been getting out of the hospital. And does the profile of the person that -- who committed this crime seems like someone that knew her since they shot her in such a vicious way, seven times, and they ran over her. That kind of seems like it`s something personal animosity.

GRACE: To Dr. Bill Manion, let`s follow up on of those both questions. Dr. Bill Manion, and Caryn Stark, let`s see them in a two-box.

Dr. Manion, number one, how soon does the baby go back for the first visit post birth?

MANION: The usually visit is at two weeks but perhaps the baby wasn`t seen in the hospital, maybe the pediatrician couldn`t get in and maybe they just said, well, come on over. The baby seems OK --

GRACE: Because I went back before two weeks, of course mine had been in intensive care in the NICU for a long time but they went back before two weeks.

MANION: Yes.

GRACE: So it really varies according to the baby, is that what you`re saying?

MANION: Yes, a healthy baby normally would be checked out in the hospital and then the first visit would be two weeks, four weeks, six weeks, in that fashion.

GRACE: And to you, Caryn Stark, I`m back on shooting seven times.

STARK: So much anger involved in that shooting. It really does make you wonder if they knew who she was. They clearly wanted this baby. But the fact that they didn`t just shoot her seven times but then they ran over her, what could be more vicious than that, Nancy?

GRACE: Unleash the lawyers, Pamela Bethel, Peter Odom, Renee Rockwell. Nobody start up with me this time about it was really a man in a wig, OK, because we know it was a woman. So just save it. All right, Odom, weigh in.

PETER ODOM, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Nancy, you know, after 21 years of practicing criminal law, sometimes I think I`ve seen it all and then something comes up that just shocks you and this is just -- I really don`t even know what to say about this case.

GRACE: Renee?

ROCKWELL: I say a big reward, Nancy, and people will tell on their loved ones if there`s a reward.

GRACE: Reward. Pamela?

PAMELA BETHEL, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: I think that -- I think there`s something very suspicious about this. The fact that if this is a professional group, they don`t really need to shoot her. They don`t need to run over her.

GRACE: Everyone, quick break. We are taking your calls. As of tonight, Georgia, the first state to sign a law creating lung cancer is awareness license plate. Proceeds to the Joan Lung Cancer fund that supports research of the world`s number one cancer killer.

Welcome back to "Inside Probe." We look at the small town in the grips of a serial killer named Lucy Carlisle.

LUCAS NEFF, "JIMMY CHANCE": Oh, yes, you`re watching "Inside Probe." I remember that.

GRACE: We got to know the simple family who brought her down.

NEFF: This is familiar. I remember that.

GRACE: But not before the son, Jimmy Chance, got her pregnant. Lucy was tried and convicted. There was even a jailhouse wedding.

NEFF: OK. Yes. It`s all coming back to me. I remember that.

GRACE: And we showed you the incredible news, Lucy was somehow not executed.

BIJOU PHILLIPS, "LUCY": I`m alive.

GARRET DILLAHUNT, "BURT CHANCE": I don`t think he remembered that.

GRACE: I`m walking and talking at Howdy`s Market in the heart of Natesville. A friendly place, where one out of every two customers shop for groceries while riding on rascals. But April 9th, 2008, there was a very different kind of rascal at Howdy`s. A rascal known as a murderer.

Jimmy Chance was enjoying his fame, but eventually he became old news and his high from being a celebrity came crashing down harder than a contestant on "Dancing with the Stars" who was voted off way too early.
