A.J. HAMMER, HOST: Hello, I`m A.J.Hammer in New York with the death of an NFL legend. The coast to coast reaction to the apparent suicide of long time NFL linebacker Junior Seau. Tonight the celebrated life and the tragic death of a football hero.

Also tonight, Khloe Kardashian`s crisis. The reality star`s astonishing new move to save her marriage pulling the plug on her show. "Showbiz Tonight" dares to ask, will Khloe`s drastic move work?

Jessica`s baby drama. Is Jessica Simpson already feeling pressure about her post baby body only one day after she introduced her baby to the world?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m a swordfish. I`m looking for something hot and spicy. Like Kardashian hot.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: And Ashton Kutcher, undercover dating site lover. "Showbiz Tonight" starts right now.

Khloe fighting for her marriage. I`m A.J. Hammer with big news breaking tonight. Khloe`s confession. So allow me now to welcome you to an alternate universe in a strange world where unlike the planet earth, there is a Kardashian that actually quits a reality show.

Wait a second, we are on planet earth, aren`t we? Yes, so how to explain Khloe Kardashian quitting her reality show, the one that she did with her husband. Well, that`s what we have all been trying to figure out. And today for the first time, we finally got the answer to this great mystery, which truly threatened to upset the balance of nature as we know it. Your "Showbiz Tonight`s" Michelle Turner.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

MICHELLE TURNER, "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT" CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): It could be one of the grandest most romantic sacrifices since King Edward VIII gave up the throne to marry Wallace Simpson, since Bogie gave up Ingrid Bergman in "Casablanca," since Jack gave up his life for Rose in "Titanic."

No, that would still makes me teary. But those sacrifices don`t amount to a hill of beans compared to this new sacrifice. A Kardashian has actually given up a reality show for her man.

JO PIAZZA, AUTHOR "CELEBRITY, INC.": I`m telling it you, this is the Rose and Jack of reality television.

TURNER: Khloe Kardashian Odom has pulled the plug on her "Khloe and Lamar," her reality show with her husband, NBA star Lamar Odom and in the new issue of "People" magazine, she explains the shocking reason why.

CARLOS GREER, REPORTER "PEOPLE" MAGAZINE: Khloe tells people that marriage comes first.

TURNER: Khloe says she and Lamar are taking a break from their show to focus on Lamar`s troubled basketball career. She tells "People" "we just want a little pause. Now there`s less pressure on us." There certainly was a lot of pressure on this celebrity couple. Soon after the NBA lockout ended last December, Lamar was suddenly traded from the L.A. Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks, a stressful move reflected on their show.

LAMAR ODOM, NBA PLAYER: Somebody tells you one day to pick up and go, you`re uncomfortable.

TURNER: After an on the court slump, Odom was put on the inactive list in April. Khloe tells "People" "with the NBA lockout, then the short season and all eyes on Lamar because of the attention that surrounds our family, it almost felt like there was no right way he could have handled things."

GREER: Khloe pulled the plug on the show because Lamar really wants to focus on his basketball career.

PIAZZA: No one`s going to hear the story and not think about Kim`s marriage to Kris Humphries.

TURNER: Ah, yes, as we all know, Khloe`s older sister, Kim, also married an NBA basketball player, Kris Humphries. And like Lamar, Kris was promptly thrown into the Kardashian reality show world with slightly different results.

KRIS HUMPHRIES, NBA PLAYER: I`ve been able to be focus here, getting my workouts in.

TURNER: On Kourtney and Kim take New York, we saw Kim and Chris`s marriage strained by his need to take a break from the reality show spotlight to train for the upcoming NBA season. Kim wasn`t exactly 100 percent accommodating.

KIM KARDASHIAN: It`s weird to me and frustrating that he`s so content with living separately.

TURNER: We all know how that ended, divorce after 72 days. But Khloe apparently has a decidedly different view on marriage. She tells "People" "I have old fashioned marriage values. Nowadays people don`t take marriage as seriously as they should. For me, I like to think that divorce is not an option." She adds "I`m a modern girl, but you should put your husband first and you need a partner who will do the same for you."

GREER: They both made sacrifices in their marriage. Lamar and Khloe are a very devoted couple. They really have each other`s back.

TURNER: Khloe and Lamar`s reality show days aren`t completely over. Khloe is still very much a part of that huge $40 million deal the Kardashians recently signed with "E."

GREER: They`re still going to tape "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

TURNER: But with TV cameras no longer following them 24/7 for their own show, Lamar and Khloe can focus on more important matters as Khloe tells "People," "I hold our relationship sacred."

OK. So maybe walking away from a reality show doesn`t reach a "Titanic" level of sacrifice.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I`ll never let go. I promise.

TURNER: But keeping their marriage afloat seems to be Khloe and Lamar`s top priority.

PIAZZA: Kudos to Khloe for realizing that. Realizing her marriage comes first. Khloe Kardashian is maybe the smartest Kardashian.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: I got to say, I give Khloe an awful lot of credit for making this decision. But will walking away from their reality TV show give her and Lamar the boost that they seem to need?

With me from Hollywood, Kita Williams, who starred on VH1`s "The T.O. Show." Also from Hollywood, Michael Yo, who is a comedian and pop culture expert. You can check him out on "Yo Show.Yahoo.com." Michael actually worked alongside Khloe on her reality show.

Guys, for me, Khloe couldn`t have said it any more clearly when she told "People" this "I think what makes a marriage work is honesty, loyalty and prioritizing. And we just wanted to prioritize a little. Life is short." Lamar added this, "If she has your back, she`s going to follow through. There`s not a tough time or a situation that`s going to deter her. She loves unconditionally." That`s all well and good. Now Michael, you worked alongside Khloe on her reality show "Kourtney and Khloe take Miami." You were Khloe`s boss. Do you think their show was actually causing a strain on her marriage to Lamar?

MICHAEL YO, POP CULTURE EXPERT: No, I think the real reality in their life was you know, if you remember, Lamar suffered a death to a close family member, then was involved in a car accident that took a kid`s life in New York City. Then he gets traded to the Dallas Mavericks. So I think their real life actually played a big part of them just saying "Hey, let`s step back and let`s get off the TV for a while" which is a great move.

HAMMER: Yes, I think it is too. I think weeding a couple of things out whether it`s being on TV or other situations in their life can make it easier to deal with the real problems that they are dealing with. And Khloe also revealed "Divorce is not an option for us." She and Lamar got engaged, you might remember, just nine days after they went on their first date. And think about it, they have been basically on a roller coast reality show ride ever since then.

Kita, I think keeping their marriage private has got to be a good idea if they want to stay together, don`t you?

KITA WILLIAMS, "T.O. SHOW": Absolutely. I can tell you just from experience being a part of a reality show and creating a show is that there is a lot of pressure that comes with being in front of the camera. I think Khloe`s very smart about taking a back seat and having Odom as her main priority versus the Kardashian as her main priority.

I think as Michael said, I disagree a little bit, but wholeheartedly it makes sense because right now, Lamar`s world is falling apart. And pretty soon if she don`t take a back seat with the situation and the cameras, she won`t be married to Lamar.

HAMMER: Right. And you have to imagine, it`s got to be kind of tough. Because look, we know how much a Kardashian love the TV camera around all the time. We know also how much the Kardashians love a good wedding. But I want to understand what the deal is with these reports today that Khloe`s oldest sister Kourtney will marry her long-time boyfriend Scott Dissick. Now a spokesperson for the family has already put the kibosh on these reports floating around that the couple has signed a $1 million deal to air the wedding special.

But Michael, let me get your take. Do you think we really could ever see a day when there will be another Kardashian fairy tale wedding on TV? I mean really don`t you just get one shot at that?

YO: No, why not. I mean Kim did it, Khloe did it and I think Scott and Kourtney will do it because that`s what they do. They do television and that`s what made them famous. That`s how they share their lives with people and you get great home videos when you shoot your own reality show at your wedding. So I see this happening.

HAMMER: Yes, right. Where else do you get a 16-camera shoot for your wedding. I think Kim ruined it for all of them. And their mom Kris Jenner, by the way, have made no bones about wanting to see Kourtney and Scott walk down the aisle to wedded bliss. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KRIS JENNER, MOM OF THE KARDASHIAN SISTERS: When Mason was born, Scott was more of like a hot mess, but now Scott`s really turned his life around and he`s been amazing. And he`s such a great partner to Kourtney. So I really don`t know what Kourtney`s reservations are, why is she holding back, why is she being so stubborn?

KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN: This is my life. I don`t need a piece of paper to make it a family unit.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: So she says she can be happy without making it official with that piece of paper, Kita. So do you think there`s any chance that Kourtney will perhaps change her mind and maybe actually get married?

WILLIAMS: I mean, absolutely. Come on, this is how they make their money. I`m going to rip this bun off my head if you guys think he`s not going to get married on TV. Let`s be serious. I mean, at the end of the day we all know that this is what they do. And really I`m waiting for the reality ho to many could out called the Kardashians go away forever because right now it`s just a little bit too much.

HAMMER: Don`t you hear something inherently wrong when you say this is how they make their money so they should get married not for the right reasons. But because this is how they earn a living. I think it`s all very, very strange. Kita Williams, Michael Yo, great to see you both. Thank you both so much.

All right. Let`s move on right now. By the way, do you think you`re too good for online dating? If that`s the case, I`m here to tell you, Ashton Kutcher is not.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m Raj. I`m a Bollywood producer looking for the most delicious thing on the planet.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m Nigel, I`m seeking higher planes of consciousness.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Money creates taste and I have lots of both.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. You have got to see this. This viral video of Ashton looking for love in all the wrong places. It is so, so funny.

Jessica Simpson`s baby barely more than 48 hours old at this point. Jess already under pressure to reveal her post baby body. There`s a reported diet deal on the table, too. Is this judgment of Jessica just wrong? This is "Showbiz Tonight" on HLN.

And now "The Voice" finalist Jermaine Paul and Juliet Simms tell "Showbiz Tonight" how excited they are for the finale.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JERMAINE PAUL, "THE VOICE" FINALIST: I`m feeling good. I`m happy. I feel no pressure, no weight on me. I`m just looking forward to getting to rehearsals and prepare a really good song for next week.

JULIET SIMMS, "THE VOICE" FINALIST: This is just the beginning for everybody. You know, I couldn`t be more proud to be representing team Ceelo (INAUDIBLE).

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Breaking news tonight. Family and friends are mourning the death of NFL star Junior Seau. He was found dead in his Southern California home from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. I want to bring in "Showbiz Tonight`s" Michelle Turner who interviewed Seau back in 2008. That`s when he was playing with the New England Patriots.

Michelle, there really is no way to put into words the impact Seau had on sports and entertainment. This is just a huge loss.

TURNER: I`m still very shocked by this, A.J., very, very shocked by this news. You know, there`s a lot of information that`s still coming in on what exactly happened here. But here`s a couple bits of information we do know. The police chief says that this case that at this point this is being investigated as a suicide. Now the police say that the Junior Seau`s girlfriend called them to the home.

He was only 43 years old. He was drafted into the NFL in 1990. Came out of the University of Southern California here in Los Angeles. His NFL career began with the San Diego Chargers. He was in a lot of ways the epitome of the linebacker for the National Football League. If you think about the top three linebackers in the game ever, Junior Seau`s name would probably be on pretty much everyone`s list.

Now there is a family here that is definitely grieving in all of this. His mother came and spoke to the media today. She cried loudly as she spoke to reporters that were gathered outside the home just a couple hours after the police were called there. Let`s listen to his mother.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LUISA MAUGA SEAU, MOTHER OF JUNIOR SEAU: He never said something for me. Junior, why you never telling me? Take me. Take me. Leave my son alone. Alone. Alone. Thank you. Thank you so much for everybody. God bless you all.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Thanks, everybody.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: I don`t know about you, but that is heartbreaking to watch. It`s just raw pain and emotion there. And you can just see, she was having a hard time even putting into words what it`s feeling like. This is just a couple hours remember after she learned that her son has been killed and that apparently, that he was killed by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

His sister also came out and paid tribute to her brother and she also asked the media and the public for some privacy right now for their family. Listen to this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ANNETTE SEAU, SISTER OF JUNIOR SEAU: On behalf of my brothers, my sisters it especially my parents, we would appreciate as a family that you give us some kind of privacy. I know the media. I`m sorry, media, but I know you guys. You will overblow this. My brother was a loving brother. A caring citizen. So I would appreciate if you guys would just please honor his last day and give us some kind of peace and privacy. Thank you.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: A.J., you know, you see that family. They`re grieving definitely. But let me give you a broader scope of what this means in the world of sports and entertainment because Junior Seau like I said, was the epitome of the linebacker in the NFL. He was a 12-time pro bowler, a 10-time all pro. You know, for so many years, he was actually the face of the NFL.

And if you think about the people that are the face of the NFL right now, you think of the Tom Bradys, the Peyton Mannings. Just a few years back, that was Junior Seau. He was just that popular and that good of a football player. So this in the grand scope of things, A.J., a huge, huge loss. It really was.

HAMMER: Tragic and sad, sad news and so heartbreaking to see his mother just breaking down shortly after learning of her son`s death. "Showbiz Tonight`s" Michelle Turner. Thanks, Michelle.

Well, this story broke just as I was getting ready to interview "Sopranos`" Joey Pantoliano. Now he was here to talk to me about his new book about his own battle with depression. I can tell you that the Junior Seau news really affected him. I want you to watch his very first reaction to the tragic news.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JOE PANTOLIANO, "SOPRANOS" STAR: I was in the - in the hallway listening to the TV and one of his best friends was talking about how depressed he was. And that he wasn`t surprised. I think that you know what saved me was when I discovered the 12-step program that I could go into a room and I could talk to people about my troubles for the day and understand that this too shall pass. That things change. Things are bad. Things are good. It`s how you deal with life in the dignity in which you get through it. The idea though you have to get through it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Wise, wise words from somebody who knows all too well about struggling with stardom and struggling with depression. You definitely do not want to miss my full interview with Joe. That is just ahead. Joey Pants as we know him from the "Sopranos" opening up about his depression battle. It is a must see the "Showbiz" newsmaker interview.

Changing gears, the octo-mom says she`s ready to do porn to pay the bills. And that has sparked the great "Showbiz" debate. On one side, support from porn star moms. On the other, the amazing new evidence that octo mom had better come up with a better plan b.

This is "Showbiz Tonight" on HLN.

Cyndi Lauper tells us "Showbiz Tonight" why she really thinks that reality singing competitions are great for young artists.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CYNDI LAUPER, SINGER: I think it`s a great vehicle because kids don`t get - like all the clubs are closed down. So you can`t really hone your skills in the clubs anymore. So these shows are a great vehicle for a young singer to come up in these shows.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Betty gets hot in Hollywood. Betty White, of course, is a TV legend but now she`s making a bit of a splash in politics. Did you see this? Betty and her "Hot in Cleveland" co-star Wendy Mahlik are starring in this hot new political ad in a hot race in Hollywood. And yes, of course, just like on her show, Betty steals the scene. Check this out.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WENDY MAHLIK, ACTRESS: Betty, if you want a friend in Washington, do you know what you do?

BETTY WHITE, ACTRESS: Get a dog. That`s what I`ve been told.

MAHLIK: And what else?

WHITE: Re-elect Congressman Howard Berman, the valley leader who fights for the humane treatment of all animals and he has very nice blue eyes.

MAHLIK: Betty.

HOWARD BERMAN: I`m Howard Berman. And my friend and I approve this message.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I love Betty. Such a cool ad and the congressman reportedly has several other megastars pulling for him including Tom Hanks, Bette Midler, Barbra Streisand even Steven Spielberg.

So could David and Victoria Beckham`s baby girl soon be bringing home the bacon? Jaleel White takes a bow on "Dancing." That`s the story topping the buzz today.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER (voice-over): Dancing drama. "Showbiz Tonight" was right there at "Dancing with the Stars" Tuesday night when the a dramatic danceoff sent Jaleel White home. White who plays (INAUDIBLE) in "Family Matters" was sent into an epic dual against his friend, Roshon Fegan. Only half of the bromance survived. White told "Showbiz Tonight" he won`t soon forget his dancing pals.

JALEEL WHITE: I can`t wait to getting back to being a dad and slowing life a little bit. But at the same time, it`s like I made some great friends, I`ve made some lifelong friends. I`m part of the DWTS frat.

HAMMER: The Beckham`s model child? Harper, the baby daughter of David and Victoria Beckham has been offered her first modeling gig. "E" reports that a UK-based baby business called My First Year.com is courting the nine month old, hoping that she will become the face of the brand. In a job offer to Harper, the company praises her style and taste and urges the little tyke to start her career in the fashion industry. Reps for the Beckhams tells "Showbiz Tonight" that Harper won`t start working anytime soon adding "David and Victoria fiercely protect the privacy of their children and do not allow them to be exploited for commercial gain."

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Well, good for them. Now the "Showbiz" lineup, here`s what`s coming up at the bottom of the hour on "Showbiz Tonight."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m Raj. I`m a Bollywood producer looking for the most delicious thing on the planet.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m Nigel and I`m seeking higher planes of consciousness.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Money creates taste and I have lots of both.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Are these Ashton Kutcher`s undercover lover alter egos or is Ashton e really looking for some post-Demi loving?

Plus, a fired up showbiz star controversy - is Jessica Simpson already under pressure to rock her post baby body? This is unreal. This is "Showbiz Tonight" on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Tonight, Jessica Simpson`s post-baby body pressure? Just one day after baby Maxwell arrived, are people already pressuring Jess to drop the baby weight? And the big question tonight, should Jessica cash in?

Ashton Kutcher, looks for love online?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ASHTON KUTCHER, ACTOR: I`m Raj, I`m a Bollywood producer, I`m looking for the most delicious thing on the planet.

I`m Nigel, I`m seeking higher planes of consciousness.

Money creates taste and I have lots of both.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Dude, where`s my date? Tonight a revealing look at what Ashton Kutcher might be doing to find love after his split from Demi.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

HAMMER: And welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thank you for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer.

Tonight, looking for love, if you`re a single lady. Well, you will want to pay extra close attention to this. Ashton Kutcher is officially dating again and he`s pulling out all the stops to find that special someone. In fact, he`s even joined forces with a video dating service. Yes, I`m talking about that Ashton, model turned mega TV star turned this millionaire Hollywood A-lister.

So why is he using a dating service? Well, let me show you this video of Ashton in action seeking women and using his star power to plug an online dating site -- so we thought. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Looking for romance? It`s here with World Wide Lovers. Come meet our bachelors.

KUTCHER: I`m Raj. I`m a Bollywood producer. I`m looking for the most delicious thing on the planet.

I`m Nigel and I`m seeking higher plains of consciousness. Higher plains of consciousnesses. Money creates taste and I have lots of both. OK, go away, James. So who am I? I am Dar. My name`s Swordfish. I`m looking for something hot and spicy. Like Kardashian hot. I would give that dog a bone. How would I describe me? I`m an extraordinary lover. I can also without even looking tell you whether you have an inny or an outy belly button. So my whole life is detail.

Higher, lower, details good. I was in a milking contest. I love poetry. And I won it. I`m sorry I was holding my breath to look skinnier. I want to ravage you. I like Snooki. I like them thin. Monkeys plus robots. But you know around where it counts. This is pooh-pooh. This is a magical feather. It was given to me by a shaman. Would you like a cookie? Pooh- Pooh, it`s OK. She only eats kosher. Yes.

Your waiting room is like a freak show. Are we all in the same category?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Life is short. Strike a match at Worldwidelovers.com.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That`s perfect. Particularly I love Snooki. So Ashton there giving it his all, but calm down, if you also happen to be looking for love, this is actually just a spoof.

Let me bring in celebrity publicist Kita Williams.

Hey, Kita.

She`s in Hollywood tonight.

So are you with me that this is sheer genius to use Ashton`s checkered romance record to make this video spoof go viral?

KITA WILLIAMS, CELEBRITY PUBLICIST: Absolutely. As a publicist, I`ll say this. He has an image to uphold. And obviously we know that Demi and Ashton started dating when Ashton was 12 so there`s a lot of time in between where he is -- then and now. I mean it makes sense that he`s telling the world that he`s going to start dating a lot of women, he`s going to start tapping a lot of booty, he`s going to be going on a lot of dates, and he`s just letting you know what`s about to happen.

So it`s smart to put the viral video out and make fun of it so that when we see him out on his escapades, we won`t be surprised.

HAMMER: Hold on. Let me write that down. Ashton will be tapping a lot of booty.

All right, thank you for that, Kita.

Out now to entertainment journalist Rachel Zalis. I mean this is a brilliant move, isn`t it, Rachel?

RACHEL ZALIS, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST: It`s brilliant. It`s hilarious. I mean Ashton has gone from "Two and a Half Men" to four men. And I got to tell you I think that Raj is kind of sexy. Maybe he`ll throw me a bone, too.

HAMMER: We`ll see if we can --

(CROSSTALK)

ZALIS: Digging him.

HAMMER: But -- I mean can you imagine Ashton actually being out there in an online dating service?

ZALIS: Can you do that for me, A.J.?

HAMMER: Yes, I`m happy to oblige. I`m here to help any way possible. There is another Hollywood A-lister making headlines today. And I got to tell you something, I`m feeling pretty badly for Jessica Simpson right now. She couldn`t even have one day, not 24 hours, to enjoy her new baby, being a new mom before the blogosphere just went nuts putting all this pressure on Jessica about her post-baby weight.

Everybody is wondering when is she going to lose it, how quickly will she shed the pounds?

Kita, I`ve got to imagine you`re with me on this. Look, I have always said I think it is completely unfair to Jessica to talk about her weight anytime, particularly now, though. I mean come on, people.

WILLIAMS: Let me say this. It is sad that we`re talking about a woman who`s glowing as a pregnant mother-to-be, now she`s had the baby after being pregnant for a million and one years. But I`m going to say something, what pressure do you have to lose weight if you`re getting paid millions of dollars? I don`t think there`s pressure there.

But what I will say that it`s sheer genius, it`s a money-making machine to be a celebrity and to be pregnant especially now in today`s society. You can make the most of it and add a little bit of income for the baby, as well. I think a lot of us have been waiting for her to drop this load. And I`m not surprised if she`s going to have the Jessica Simpson baby line.

And who knows? She might even have a maternity line coming up. But --

HAMMER: Yes.

WILLIAMS: There`s no pressure there.

HAMMER: Yes, I mean, look, that is -- that`s true, although there are the people out there, particularly in the blogosphere hiding behind their keyboards making fun of her and being relentless about her weight until she loses it. And I just think that`s completely uncalled for.

But yes, you`re right, there are reports out there that Jessica will cash in on her baby weight loss plan much like Mariah Carey did with Jenny Craig.

Rachel, do you see anything at all wrong with Jessica cashing in on her weight loss?

ZALIS: No way. Huge baby bump translates into huge pay bump. I mean all pregnant celebrity mommies are making huge money off of this. You know, between Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers, especially what you were saying about her pregnancy line, that she`s going to start doing now. I mean she is going -- she`s a brilliant businesswoman and she`s going to completely strategize on this.

WILLIAMS: Absolutely.

HAMMER: But here`s the thing, and Kita, tell me if you --

WILLIAMS: I mean --

(CROSSTALK)

HAMMER: Tell me if you --

ZALIS: And I think it was 1.2 --

WILLIAMS: Yes.

HAMMER: Go ahead.

ZALIS: Sorry.

WILLIAMS: No, I was going to say to A.J. --

ZALIS: I think it was 1.2 million years that she was pregnant.

HAMMER: Yes, she was pregnant for a very long time. Here`s the thing, let me bottom line it for you this way. I think if she does sign up to do some kind of a weight loss deal, it certainly will more likely open her up to being more of a target and there will be even more scrutiny over her body.

I mean, we`ll have to wait and see if that actually happens. But look, Jessica has always been a target, unfairly again I say. But that`s just the way the world works when you`re a celebrity.

WILLIAMS: You would be --

HAMMER: Kita Williams, Rachel Zalis.

WILLIAMS: Trust me, A.J., you --

HAMMER: Thank you very much.

WILLIAMS: You would be pregnant, too, A.J.

HAMMER: From new mom, Jessica Simpson to Octomom, Nadya Suleman.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was the first to reveal the stunning new details of the Octomom`s sudden reversal on plans to accept a porn deal. She has now signed on the dotted line and says she is ready to do just about whatever it takes to support her 14 kids, but her shocking decision has sparked a great debate.

Let me bring in SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner from Hollywood who was right there with the Octomom when she broke that news to the world.

So, Nischelle, let`s now take a look what the Octomom said that has everybody chiming in. Watch this with me.

NISCHELLE TURNER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT: OK.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

NADYA SULEMAN, MOTHER OF 14 KIDS: In regard to, I`ll never pose nude, you know what? If the opportunity comes up, I`m going to be the first -- I`m going to eat my words. All that matters is I take care of my family. It`s all that matters.

TURNER: What about the porn offer if that comes back?

SULEMAN: I will not touch another human flesh. I will -- then I won`t be eating my words there because that`s something -- that`s one thing I will never do.

TURNER: But porn doesn`t necessarily mean you do have something with something else.

SULEMAN: OK. Then if that`s then, if you want to call it porn, they call it porn. I don`t care. If it`s a job, and it`s a really well-paying job - -

TURNER: Adult film.

SULEMAN: If it`s a job and it`s a well-paying job, and it`s going to allow me to get us out of here and in a very safe, huge home that they deserve, I`m going to do it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: You know, Nischelle, listening carefully there, I think this was your doing. I understand the Octomom`s decision that has really set off a firestorm of criticism, too.

TURNER: Thanks for the blame, A.J.

HAMMER: Wow.

(LAUGHTER)

HAMMER: You kind of cleared the path there, Nischelle.

(CROSSTALK)

TURNER: OK, that`s what I did. Yes. But you know what, the Octomom`s new porn deal does have SHOWBIZ viewers fired you.

Let me just show you some of the results of our exclusive SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll when we revealed the Octomom`s change of heart, saying she would indeed do porn. We asked if it was worth it. Thirty-one percent said yes, she should do whatever it takes, but a whopping 69 percent said don`t do it. It`s disgusting.

And there you have it, the no`s have it by a landslide, A.J.

HAMMER: And I understand this debate even carried over to HLN`s Dr. Drew`s show last night. What happened there?

TURNER: Yes, they did. Dr. Drew spoke with a mom who is also a porn star. She provides for her kids with X rated jobs. And I want you to hear what she told Dr. Drew about the Octomom`s decision. Watch this with me.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You know what? Any woman who is willing to do whatever she has to to take care of her children, even if that means doing porn, good for her because other people may not agree with it, but the important thing is in reality see is putting her kids first because she can`t make the rent, she can`t make the bills. She`s got to provide for them.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: So there you go, A.J. Some support for the Octomom from a mother that is living that life. And I get the feeling there`s much more of this heated debate to come. That`s not it.

HAMMER: There is. And it wasn`t your doing, Nischelle. I`m not saying that.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner, thank you so much.

We move now to McDreamy to the rescue. Inside Patrick Dempsey`s heroic rescue of a 15-year-old boy. The brand new 911 call revealed.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m on a roll in here.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You be on a slab if you keep it up.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Love it. You probably know Joey Pants from the "Sopranos." But did you know he lived with clinical depression for nearly six decades? Joe is right here to share his incredible story with me in a dramatic new SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview next.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JOE PANTOLIANO, ACTOR: I don`t hear you complaining when I bring you a nice fat envelope. You don`t give a (EXPLETIVE DELETED) where that comes from. Don`t give me that look. It was a freaking horse. What are you, a vegetarian? He feeds with sausage by a flipping car loaf.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Oh, my god, still one of my favorite shows of all time. And who can forget Ralphie, the psychopathic mobster on the "Sopranos" played of course by the great Joe Pantoliano. But while he was enjoying big success playing these types of demented bad guys, behind the scenes he was struggling with his own personal demons.

Well, tonight, seeking asylum. The guy that we all love to call Joey Pants has certainly played some of the most intense and deeply troubled characters on television and in the movies. And tonight he`s right here to reveal his incredible story about the emotional turmoil and drama that was playing out in his real life.

Addicted to food, addicted to sex, addicted to alcohol. And now he is telling all in this fascinating new book. It`s called "Asylum: Hollywood Tales from My Great Depression: Brain Dis-Ease, Recovery and Being My Mother`s Son."

And Joey is with me tonight for a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.

Well, everybody can claim that, I guess. Joe, it`s great to see you. One of our long-time guests here at SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. You were with us all the way back in 2005.

PANTOLIANO: Thank you.

HAMMER: Pleasure to have you here. And I know that you spent your entire life struggling, but you didn`t really know what was going on until you were finally diagnosed with clinical depression after you had turned 50. Were you shocked to learn that that`s what had been troubling you all the years?

PANTOLIANO: No, I was relieved. I felt like I hit the trifecta because as I -- as I gathered success, you know, I thought somehow that if I could become successful, get inside my mother`s television set and be like those other Italian Americans that I wanted to emulate, actors like -- well, not Italian, but Robert Duvall and people that inspired me, people I wanted to be like, that if I could become that I would be guaranteed of immortality.

That would be evidence that I had existed. And also those things that I had accumulated would protect me from the sadness that lived inside of me or the fact that I felt that there was something inside of me that was bad. I felt that I was always sneaking around, that I was coming through the backdoor, and walking out the front like I owned the joint.

And so when I -- my success began to come to me, I never felt like it was mine. I felt like I was tricking them and that eventually they were going to find out.

HAMMER: When will they all be in on the joke or my great fallacy of this life. So obviously all of the success, the fame, the money, none of that really did for you what you were hoping it would do.

PANTOLIANO: I was baffled. I was absolutely baffled. I would be in my -- in my bedroom and I`m looking out at the pond and I`m thinking, how can I have all of this, what is wrong with you? You selfish, son of a gun. You know, why -- what more do you need, Joey, before you can feel better? You know, you got more than your wildest dreams. Everything that you ever wanted you got. But it`s not enough. And I thought it was a character flaw.

HAMMER: And you know, I think so many people can relate to what you`re saying. We hear this often from other Hollywood stars and it always made me feel like that is what drove so many stars to become famous or even to get out of their own body and to act. Would you say there`s a real connection between the depression and the drive to act?

PANTOLIANO: Yes, my doctor friend, when I made a movie in 2010 called "No Kidding Me 2" I was up at MacLean Hospital. And I asked the guy, because of the way I was trained, did I make myself nuts? You know, I manipulate my brain, I relive past experiences and putting them to (INAUDIBLE) characters. And he said actually, you took all of that post traumatic past and you sublimated it into a craft. You were able to take all of that past pain and utilize it into the characters you were playing.

I also realized that I never knew who I was. I was uncomfortable in my own skin. And in between action and cut, I knew who I was. I was -- I was playing somebody else but, you know, actors are always trained to look at it as I.

HAMMER: Yes. And it`s almost ironic. We see so many stars go through problems, depression and sometimes drug abuse. In recent cases we`ve seen stars die after dealing with addiction like Amy Winehouse`s life.

PANTOLIANO: Amy Winehouse --

HAMMER: Whitney Houston -- but you don`t actually believe they died because of their addictions.

PANTOLIANO: No, Amy game me -- they gave me -- she gave me the title song "Rehab" for our movie. It`s our title song. And yet she couldn`t make the connection between her mental dis-easiness, Whitney`s mental dis-easiness, Michael`s mental dis-easiness. You know, what`s her name in the 20s, you had Billy Holliday. Right? It`s all the same. They continued to pour their hearts out through their work. And then when they ran down to the bottom, they were so empty that they thought that these things, they were treating their dis-ease with these medications.

My answer is, is that my dis-ease is my cure. Now that I know what I have, I know that it`s manifested in a way that we all share in this. Seventy- five percent of all Americans will have to deal with some kind of mental turmoil in their lifetime.

HAMMER: Well, you know, the greatest part about all of this in this entire story is that right before we got started, I said, how are you doing, and you said terrific.

PANTOLIANO: Yes.

HAMMER: And I`m happy to hear that. Great to have you here, Joe. Welcome back, nice to see you.

PANTOLIANO: Thank you.

HAMMER: Thank you so much.

You must check out Joe`s book. It is a fantastic read and it`s funny, too, despite the subject matter, "Asylum," in stores now.

Well, as we move on tonight, Patrick Dempsey to the rescue.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: There was a car accident.

UNIDENTIFIED 911 DISPATCHER: How many vehicles?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It`s one vehicle. It`s upside down.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT goes inside Patrick Dempsey`s heroic rescue of a 15-year-old boy. The brand new 911 call was just revealed today. We`ve got it.

This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

I love Kathy Bates and I love her even more after she appeared as Charlie Sheen`s ghost on "Two and a Half Men." You got to watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JON CRYER, ACTOR: Come on, everybody in high school knew that story. Answer me this. What are your five favorite words to hear from a woman?

KATHY BATES, ACTRESS: I can`t spend the night.

CRYER: Charlie.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Tonight McDreamy to the rescue. This story really is unbelievable. Patrick Dempsey doesn`t just save lives on TV, he`s doing it in real life, as well.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has just obtained the just-released 911 call that was placed when the "Grey`s Anatomy" star came to the rescue of a 15-year-old boy who was trapped in an overturned car and now we`re learning the details of what happened next.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner is in Hollywood tonight.

So, Nischelle, we know Patrick Dempsey pulled this boy to safety. But what more are we learning from this call today?

TURNER: Well, A.J., we`re learning McDreamy really swooped in like a super hero. You know the boy had flipped his dad`s Mustang in front of Patrick Dempsey`s house in Malibu and he had a 16-year-old friend that was in the passenger seat.

Now the Los Angeles County Sheriff`s Office tells us SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Dempsey pried the boy out of the mangled car which settled upside down. The 911 call by a woman that`s thought to be Dempsey`s wife gives us a true sense of what happened after that. Listen to it.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: There was a car accident.

UNIDENTIFIED 911 DISPATCHER: How many vehicles?

PANTOLIANO: It`s one vehicle. It`s upside down.

UNIDENTIFIED 911 DISPATCHER: Is the person trapped?

PANTOLIANO: My husband and three other guys just pulled the boy out. The car is upside down and totally smashed.

UNIDENTIFIED 911 DISPATCHER: OK, the fire department is on the way. Are you standing with the patient?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes, we`re standing with him, my husband`s with him.

UNIDENTIFIED 911 DISPATCHER: Is he having difficulty breathing?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Is he having any difficulty breathing? He`s got consciousness.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Wow. Totally sounds like an episode of "Grey`s Anatomy". Absolutely. I hear the boy is doing well now, Nischelle. And I also would have to imagine that Patrick`s years of playing Derek Shepherd on the show have to have come in handy.

TURNER: You know, it just may have, A.J. The boy, his name is Weston Massett. He was airlifted to the hospital shortly after the incident. He suffered an eye injury and a concussion. And according to one report Weston recounted the incident saying when he was pulled out of the wreck he asked Patrick, are you famous? And get this, Patrick reportedly responded with yes, I`m a doctor. See why I love Mr. McDreamy, A.J.

HAMMER: Yes, you`re sweating a little bit.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner. Thanks, Nischelle.

(LAUGHTER)

HAMMER: Tonight is the provocative film role that Lindsay Lohan had to give up. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with your first look at Amanda Seyfried as adult film star Linda Lovelace next.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Hope you`re ready for it because tonight I`ve got your SHOWBIZ`s first look at sultry Amanda Seyfried as `70s adult film star Linda Lovelace. Check this out, there she is, Seyfried looking sultry as a brunette on this just-released poster for the biopic. It`s simply called "Lovelace."

Now that role, you might remember, was going to be played by Lindsay Lohan but after all of Lindsay`s problems over the past couple of years, the film`s director said that Lindsay was uninsurable. The star-studded cast also includes Sarah Jessica Parker. Now Sarah is going to be playing Gloria Steinham and James Franco is going to be in the film playing Hugh Hefner.

I cannot wait to see him as Hugh. A release date has not yet been announced.

That is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thanks for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer. You can catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusively weeknights at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific here on HLN.

Stay right here for Dr. Drew next. Tonight Dr. Drew takes a closer look at the mother who, according to police, allowed her 5-year-old to use a tanning bed. It starts right now.
