THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.

NISHELLE TURNER, HLN HOST, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT: Feeling bad for Chad? Chad Ochocinco Johnson breaks his silence for the first time on his domestic drama just as his reality star wife files for divorce. He lost his wife, his reality show, his job as a football player and now his good name.

Tonight SHOWBIZ investigates why people are feeling bad for Chad.

Hello, I`m Nischelle Turner in Hollywood. A.J. is off.

And tonight, in the" Showbiz Countdown", Robert Pattinson`s great hits and misses this week as he plays the Artful Dodger following his headline making interview with SHOWBIZ TONIGHT about how he`s doing since finding out Kristen Stewart cheated on him.

He went on "Good Morning American" to again field and dodge questions about the big breakup with his "Twilight" co-star, but no one got him to open up like we did. So what were his biggest hits and misses from all his interviews this week? We`ll be counting them down tonight.

But first, is K-Stew getting a raw deal? Tonight comes the shocking news that Kristen might be dropped from the sequel to the blockbuster movie "Snow White and the Huntsman" where she met the director that she eventually had an affair with. Still nobody is excusing what she did, but come on, her very married director deserves at least half the blame, don`t you think?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER (voice-over): The evil queen isn`t the only one who`s got it in for "Snow White and the Huntsman", star Kristen Stewart ever since she cheated on her boyfriend Robert Pattinson with her married "Snow White" director Rupert Sanders --

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Why would you cheat on Robert Pattinson?

TURNER: Stewart has been getting grief from emotional "Twilight" fans and absolute silence from her boyfriend, Robert Pattinson. This morning on "Good Morning America," Pattinson refused to even say her name.

ROBERT PATTINSON, ACTOR: I`ve never been interested in trying to sell my personal life.

TURNER: He took a similar non-approach to the Kristen topic when he sat down with SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

JENNY D`ATTOMA, HLN PRODUCER: Is Robert Pattinson ok?

PATTINSON: Yes.

TURNER: Now SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you today a bombshell new report indicates the fallout from Kristen Stewart`s cheating scandal may be hurting her career.

MARC MALKIN, E! ONLINE: There is a report that says that Kristen Stewart was dropped from the sequel to "Snow White and the Huntsman".

TURNER: The Hollywood reporter says Universal Pictures is considering a sequel that focuses on "The Huntsman" character played by Chris Hemsworth.

CHRIS HEMSWORTH, ACTOR: Who are you? Why does the queen want you dead?

KRISTEN STEWART, ACTRESS: You should know you`re the one hunting me.

TURNER: Adding insult to Kristen`s injury the Hollywood reporter says the guy Kristen cheated with, "Snow White" director Rupert Sanders, reportedly is on board for the sequel.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: She is the one.

TURNER: So a young leading lady and her married director have an affair, she loses her job and he keeps his. If that`s true, then "Snow White" is getting a raw deal. But not so fast --

MALKIN: She actually hasn`t been dropped because she was never officially attached to it.

TURNER: E!`s Marc Malkin tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Stewart was never officially signed to a sequel. A spokesperson for Universal tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "We are exploring options to continue the franchise and no decisions have been made."

But even if no decision has been made, we got to say studios don`t often have to deliberate over whether to bring back the star of a successful movie for a sequel. So this whole report is another sign that Kristen Stewart`s career may be suffering.

MALKIN: It`s raising eyebrows now because of, obviously, the cheating scandal.

TURNER: While Kristen`s boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, is refusing to attack or defend Kristen during his non-statements about the scandal --

D`ATTOMA: You really are ok?

PATTINSON: Yes, I mean --

TURNER: Today another of Stewart`s former co-stars is sticking up for her.

STEWART: Please don`t worry about me.

TURNER: Jodie Foster who protected the ten year old Kristen Stewart in the 2002 movie "Panic Room" is coming to her defense once again.

JODIE FOSTER, ACTRESS: Get the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) my house.

TURNER: In her "Daily Beast" op-ed, Jodie offers some motherly advice to Stewart writing, quote, "Eventually this all passes. The public horrors of today eventually blow away. Hopefully in the process you don`t lose your ability to throw your arms in the air again and spin in wild abandon. That is the ultimate F.U. and finally the most beautiful survival tool of all. Don`t let them take that away from you."

MALKIN: She basically says leave Kristen alone. But guess what, Kristen, you`re going to get through this.

TURNER: Stewart`s former on-screen mom may be right in saying this will all blow over, but with Kristen possibly losing fans.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I don`t believe that she would do this.

TURNER: Her boyfriend and movie roles -- this scandal won`t end any time soon.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: Now late today we got a new statement from the film studio behind "Snow White and the Huntsman," they said "We are extremely proud of `Snow White and the Huntsman` and we`re currently exploring all options to continue the franchise. Any reports that Kristen Stewart has been dropped are false."

All right. So she stays in the picture. But that still brings us to tonight`s "Showbiz Controversy". Is Kristen Stewart getting a raw deal?

In Atlanta tonight is "Entertainment" and host of "The Bert Show", Jenn Hobby; and in New York "Inside Edition" correspondent Megan Alexander. Ladies you know even with this new statement I don`t know. Does it seem like Kristen is getting a bit of a raw deal here? Jenn, what do you think?

JENN HOBBY, ENTERTAINMENT REPORTER: I don`t think she`s getting a raw deal. You know we build up these celebrities and these actresses to be these goddesses. And then when they act like humans and make mistakes, we vilify them and tear them down again. And I guess it`s human nature to do so, but I just feel bad for her. You know she`s made a mistake, she`s already suffering privately. Why force her to continue to suffer publicly and so publicly with her job? That just doesn`t seem fair.

TURNER: And -- and I still say we kind of forget sometimes that this girl is 22. Megan, what do you think?

MEGAN ALEXANDER, CORRESPONDENT, "INSIDE EDITION": You know I think we don`t know enough information yet. As Marc Malkin pointed out, she wasn`t necessarily dropped from the film. But if you`ll look at this in terms of she released a statement and said she was really sorry, that she loves Robert Pattinson.

And Sanders, if he wants to keep his marriage together, one of them is going to have to drop out. It`s just not a good formula for the two of them to continue to work on this franchise, so one of them will have to step aside.

If it`s Kristen Stewart, it`s not necessarily a bad thing here. Because if you want to truly work on your personal relationships, you can`t always do both. You have to make a decision.

TURNER: You know guy, you know what I`m cheering for though in this whole thing -- Jodie Foster -- because she had this really new, powerful message for Kristen Stewart today. You know Jodie played her mom in the 2002 "Panic Room." And now in the middle of this cheating firestorm Jodie shares this great advice in an op-ed for the "Daily Beast".

Here is what she said, she said, "My mother had a saying that she doled out, `This, too, shall pass.` God, I hated that phrase. Now it seems quaint, but oddly true. Yes, you are changed by the awful wake of reckoning they leave behind. You trust less. You survive. Hopefully in the process you don`t lose your ability to throw your arms in the air again and spin in wild abandon. That is the ultimate F.U."

I love that, Jenn can`t you hear Kristen wherever she is right now and said "Oh Jodie, thank you."

HOBBY: Yes thank you so much and you know I think it`s important for all of us to have mentors and certainly Jodie Foster is that for Kristen Stewart. So for her to offer that olive branch publicly and to say, "Look, you`re young. You`re going to get through this. It`s going to be all right. We`ve all made mistakes and we`ve all done things that we`re not proud of." I just think it`s so special. It just shows that mentor/mentee relationship these two have.

TURNER: And sometimes it`s a good thing to hear that somebody understands. Even when everybody else says shame on you, shame on you, there is one person that says, don`t worry, it`s going to be ok.

So you know Kristen is still trying to sort all of this out. Robert Pattinson has been doing a few interviews to promote his new movie, including an interview with SHOWBIZ TONIGHT".

Now we just spoke with him and David Cronenberg, the director of his new movie "Cosmopolis" and look what Rob told us about dealing with his kind of strange new reality. Listen.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PATTINSON: Since the first "Twilight" I mean, you entered this kind of realm where everything was you know, you get stuff reported about you, and it`s weird.

And on top of that, loads of people just make it up, anyway. It doesn`t make any difference.

D`ATTOMA: Do you just laugh it off? I mean, you really are ok?

PATTINSON: Yes. I mean -- yes.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: Megan, so what do you think? Should Kristen speak up and say something?

ALEXANDER: Only if she feels she wants to, only if she really had something to say. We all know when personal situations happen like this, you`re not always ready to talk. You need to process things.

So she`s on her own timeline. Hopefully, as been mentioned, she`s got good mentors in her life, good family and friends. You`re not always ready to speak out right away. Robert happens to be doing press because his movie is coming out. But take your time and heal your hearts.

TURNER: Well the nosy neighbor in me still says I want to hear from her ASAP.

Jen and Meg, we`re just getting warmed up. We`re going to dig into this R-Patz media blitz a little bit more our "Showbiz Countdown". Robert`s hits and misses.

What did he do right and basically, what did he do wrong in his post- scandal interviews?

Also tonight, Chad Ochocinco Johnson. He lost his reality show, his wife and now brand new video of him losing his job.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Where we are as a program and where you are and where we`re headed it`s just -- I just don`t see that in the mesh right now.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: Awkward. Do we feel bad for Chad though? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

TURNER: Loving Miley`s new do. Tonight Miley Cyrus strikes back against critics of her new haircut. The 19-year-old has been busy tweeting brand new photos of her blond pixie cut. She tweeted this photo today with the words, "Self-love is the greatest of all flatterers". Miley also tweeted that fiance Liam Hemsworth loved her shorter lock too saying "He thinks she looks happier than she has in a very long time.

Up next, feeling bad for Chad? Could Chad Ochocinco Johnson be getting a raw deal in his domestic dispute drama?

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Where we are as a program and where you are and where we`re headed, it`s just -- I just don`t see that in the mesh right now. And you know, it`s -- I wish it was different. I wish I could tell you something more encouraging, but you know I just think it`s best for both of us if we kind of part ways at this point of time.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: You know, just being fired from a job that you love is earth- shattering enough, but when you`re Chad Johnson and it`s caught on tape for millions of fans to see, well now that`s just downright humiliating.

And that was an all new clip from the HBO documentary series "Hard Knocks" who had cameras rolling when the Dolphins gave Chad his walking papers. You know this news gets worse for Chad Johnson every single day since that stunning moment four days ago when we first learned that Chad has been arrested for reported domestic violence against his newlywed reality star wife Evelyn Lozada.

What a downward spiral it has been -- Evelyn has now filed for a divorce. Chad`s striving reality TV life is over. His good guy reputation well, that`s gone; forever tarnished. And his promising football career may have to come to an abrupt end.

Now we see that jaw-dropping moment when the Miami Dolphins cut Chad from the team has been caught on tape. And while Chad continues to struggle to regain his footing and get back into the game of life we have to ask should we feel bad for Chad?

Let me bring in criminal defense attorney Midwin Charles from New York and from Atlanta Carlos Diaz, sports anchor of "Morning Express" right here on HLN. All right, guys just last week or just last night excuse me Chad tweeted a thank you message to his more than three million twitter followers and he said, "I haven`t had to tread water in a long time -- special thank you to my fans, family, friends for keeping me afloat."

Now we should say he has not been convicted of a crime as of yet but he`s already paid a huge price for whatever happened between him and his wife.

Now Midwin, what if he`s not -- what if he`s found not guilty? Can he rebuild his reputation or even his career from this downfall?

MIDWIN CHARLES, CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Well, I think if he`s found not guilty, I think he should definitely attempt to rebuild his reputation and at least try to get his job back. I think we can all agree that him being cut by the Dolphins was a direct result of that arrest. And you`re right it is a little bit unfair in the sense that it hasn`t been proven to be true, although the facts don`t look very good for him.

But if I were him, oh you better believe I`d work really hard to get that job back if he`s found not guilty -- absolutely.

TURNER: Yes you know it`s almost unprecedented to be able to watch firsthand and see a superstar athlete like Chad Johnson basically pleading his case and then ultimately just getting fired. Let`s watch some more of that stunning exchange together. Look at this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Trust me, I acknowledge people make mistakes and nobody knows that more than me. And --

CHAD JOHNSON, FORMER NFL PLAYER: Coach, I`ve never been in trouble before.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I know that.

JOHNSON: Ever. And I was in a two-year program most definitely. Because after that talk we had, I was hush from that point on, and I was going to stay that way the entire year.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes, yes. I don`t know. It`s just -- it`s -- it`s not -- it`s not really just last night or -- it`s just, you know, where we are as a program and where you are and where we`re headed, it`s just -- I just don`t see the mesh right now.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: Oh I don`t know if it`s just me, but that was uncomfortable to watch.

CHARLES: Of course it is.

(CROSSTALK)

TURNER: -- because you know what`s coming next.

Now, Carlos, you know, the Dolphins didn`t waste any time here getting rid of him and a lot of people in social media are saying, you know, we don`t have enough information yet about what happened that night to really draw a fair conclusion.

So -- but can you understand, Carlos though, why some people are starting to feel kind of bad for him?

CARLOS DIAZ, SPORTS ANCHOR, "MORNING EXPRESS" ON HLN: Chad Johnson, are you freaking kidding me? No, I don`t see that at all. Why would you feel bad for a guy who went out and allegedly bought a box of condoms when he just got married 41 days previously, or less than 41 days previously. He allegedly head-butted a woman -- you hit a woman and you think you should feel sorry for him?

And Midwin Charles I`m really sorry, but there`s no chance, no chance the Dolphins will ever take Chad Johnson back and I highly doubt any team in the NFL will. What has happened to Chad Johnson over the last few --

CHARLES: Your key -- your key terms, but your key words are "allegedly". In other words, it hasn`t been proven to be true. And while I think you`re right, they may never take him back, he damn well should try. That`s for sure.

DIAZ: What -- what happened to Evelyn Lozada in that 911 call? Did she go over to the neighbors after she cut her head in the garage or something? I mean, you hear her in the 911 call saying he head-butted me. I mean here is -- here is the thing that I can tell you right now. That what happened to Chad Johnson, you live by the sword, you die by the sword. You live being that outrageous person who has his own Web site, who has his own reality show.

TURNER: Yes.

DIAZ: Well, guess what? On the reality show, we all get to see your life come to an end as far of the football life goes and he got what he deserve from the Dolphins.

TURNER: Well things have seemed to have gotten very real, especially right here on this set because we have another clip from that HBO documentary show and just how he reacted when the Dolphin`s coach broke the news that he was cut from the team. This is another moment -- a telling moment caught on tape.

Now, you two, to your respective corners I want you to stay right there though, because we got more, coming up.

And tonight, Robert Pattinson`s hits and misses. R-Patz has been on an all out media blitz after Kristen Stewart cheated on him. It seems like he could do no wrong, right? Well, but tonight we`re revealing some of his best and worst moments from the past few days.

So what has he done right and oh, so wrong? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is counting down our R-Patz`s top three hits and misses coming up. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

TURNER: There is stunning new video tonight of the moment football star Chad Johnson was fired by the Miami Dolphins. It was all caught by the HBO documentary series "Hard Knocks." Watch as Miami Dolphins coach Joe Philbin broke the news that the team was letting him go.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m certain, you know, that you can overcome this thing. And you know, is there anything more to -- I mean --

JOHNSON: Just thank you for the opportunity, you know.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes, yes. Well, I appreciate.

JOHNSON: I`ll get all my stuff. I`m a smart man and I can say it. I appreciate it, though. Thank you for the chance.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: Let me bring back in my crew here. Criminal defense attorney Midwin Charles who is with -- with us from New York and from Atlanta, Carlos Diaz, sports anchor "Morning Express" right here on HLN.

Now, I think in that video he seemed gracious and humble, Carlos. And this is one of those times where I think I might know the answer to the question before I ask it. Is that what you expected to see from Chad? Did you expect --

DIAZ: No, no, I was expecting him to head-butt the coach. No, I mean, listen -- no, no listen of course he`s going to be gracious and humble. You know what I mean, that`s -- and he did a great job, but Chad, you know, he knows reality TV and he knows that there are cameras. You know either there is a camera guy in the room or there`s a camera somewhere nearby.

So the bottom line is he was gracious and humble because, as he said in his statement where he apologized to his wife.

TURNER: Yes.

DIAZ: In that same statement he apologized; he said, "Hey, I`m going to work hard to get to an NFL team." So, hey, I`m really sorry about what I did --

(CROSSTALK)

TURNER: Yes.

DIAZ: -- which by the way he acknowledges something happened, but in that same statement he says, "And I`m working hard to get with another NFL team." So he`s already moving forward.

(CROSSTALK)

TURNER: Yes.

(CROSSTALK)

TURNER: Hey Midwin let me -- let me let Midwin jump in here real quick. I want to hear what you have to say about this too.

CHARLES: Well, I just think there are certain aspects about reality TV that are good and bad. And this is the bad, although in the sense where you get to see someone`s dignity kind of just being stripped apart layer by layer. It`s really unfortunate.

TURNER: Oh you guys, Midwin Charles --

(CROSSTALK)

DIAZ: Oh this is the best reality TV ever. Come on.

(CROSSTALK)

CHARLES: Oh you like the drama, Carlos -- surprise, surprise.

(CROSSTALK)

TURNER: We got to take a time-out -- we got to take a time out here, guys. This is good TV. This is good reality TV right here, but we got to take a time-out. Midwin Charles, Carlos Diaz, thank you very much.

Now Robert Pattinson, guys, has been giggling his way through a jam- packed media blitz this week. But come on, is giggling really the way to handle the media after Kristen Stewart cheated on you? Was that a big hit or one big old fat miss?

Tonight SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is taking a look at R-Patz`s TV tour and counting down his biggest hits and misses. You don`t want to miss this. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

TURNER: Right now on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Robert Pattinson`s post-split media blitz. He`s trying to dodge the questions about Kristen Stewart, but we sure didn`t let him get away with that when we talked to him. And tonight we`re counting down the "Twilight" star`s biggest hits and misses.

You better believe our own revealing one on one with R-Patz is on the hit list but will Robert`s interview with GMA this morning make it and what about his sit-down with Jon Stewart?

Plus, with news of her big engagement blowing up, are people finally going to stop feeling sorry for Jennifer Aniston? Sure, she and Brad Pitt divorced, but come on, isn`t it time to pack up the Pitt-y party? SHOWBIZ dares to ask. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT continues right now.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Nischelle Turner in Hollywood. A.J. is off tonight.

Tonight, in the "Showbiz Countdown": Robert Pattinson`s remarkable hits and misses. Robert has been on an interview blitz this week to promote his movie "Cosmopolis" including his headline-making interview with SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s been his first public appearances since Kristen Stewart publicly apologized to him for cheating with her married director, so what have been his biggest hits and misses?

With me tonight from Atlanta, body language expert Patti Wood; also from Atlanta, entertainment reporter Jenn Hobby, who`s also the co-host of "The Bert Show". Ok ladies let`s begin by counting down his three big hits.

At number three on the "Showbiz Countdown", we think Pattinson has really handled himself with class from the very beginning of his blitz. Even got suited up, looks really nice at the ringing of the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange. And watch what he told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT producer Jenny D`Attoma (ph) when we asked him about all those crazy reports about him since finding out that Kristen cheated. Look at this.

JENNY D`ATTOMA, HLN PRODUCER: Was it weird to see all the hubbub, all this reporting about you that was probably for the most part -- I mean there were reports of you drinking and you, you know, wallowing in misery. And here you are today and you look absolutely fine.

ROBERT PATTINSON, ACTOR: I mean, you know, since the first "Twilight" I mean you enter this kind of realm where you get stuff reported about you, and it`s weird.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: I don`t know, Patti, like nervous energy, nervous laughter? What did his body language there tell you?

PATTI WOOD, BODY LANGUAGE EXPERT: Such a cluster of anxiety cues and comfort cues. Did you see the big nose wipe -- since the beginning of "Twilight" -- nose wipe, nose wipe, nose wipe. Blocking his face and saying that whole "Twilight" thing doesn`t smell right to me. I don`t like to talk about it.

TURNER: So you think that`s a defense mechanism then. He`s trying to kind of cover up and keep himself hidden?

WOOD: Yes, yes. Hiding his true feelings about the situation; hiding how distasteful it is to talk about it; how it doesn`t smell right to him at all.

TURNER: That`s really interesting.

Ok. So let`s go to number two on the "Showbiz Countdown" of R-Patz`s media blitz hits. It`s got to be though -- and I love this -- his girl talk with Jon Stewart. You know, when he tried to get Robert to dish over a dish or a pint of Ben and Jerry`s. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JON STEWART, COMEDIAN: Listen, the last time I had a bad break-up, Ben & Jerry got me through some of the tougher times. So I thought you and I could bond over this -- and talk about, boy, you are better off, kick her through the curb.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: I love it. Kick her through the curb, whatever. Now, you know R-Patz didn`t say anything about it, but he did eat. He got right into that pint of Ben & Jerry`s, just like I would have done. Like most girls would have done; that very same thing.

Jenn, are you with me here that this is probably a really big hit with the ladies out there, especially if he is, in fact, going to be an eligible bachelor again?

HOBBY: Certainly. And I think this hit was much more jovial. And you know Jon Stewart is going to fill in the blanks with his funny jokes, and any discomfort Robert Pattinson is feeling. He knows that Jon Stewart is going to be funny about it. So you can tell he`s having a lot more fun in this interview than he is in some of the other ones where maybe it gets a little bit more serious.

TURNER: A little more relaxed. Patty, what do you say? I scream for ice cream. What does this ice cream scream to you?

WOOD: Right, actually. And he`s still showing a lot of discomfort, a lot of long pauses not good for a media interview. When Jon Stewart talks about his last break-up, you see Robert bring his lips together tight in a grimace like he`s really mad he even has to talk about the break-up.

So Jon Stewart excellent, but Pattinson still showing anxiety.

TURNER: Tears of a clown. Cool on the outside but inside, he`s seething.

WOOD: Absolutely. Absolutely.

TURNER: So there you have it. But what is -- let`s get to our number one tonight on the "Showbiz Countdown" of R-Patz`s media blitz hits.

Yes, he`s teaming up with the director of his new film "Cosmopolis" to tell SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exactly what they think about the difference between all the stories that we`ve been hearing and what`s reality. Listen to this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DAVID CRONENBERG, DIRECTOR: It`s a very abstract realm that doesn`t really have a lot to do with personal reality.

PATTINSON: It`s about having total disassociation.

CRONENBERG: People think they know what`s going on and they don`t really know.

PATTINSON: And on top, loads the people just make it up anyway. It doesn`t make any difference.

D`ATTOMA: But you just laugh it off? You really are ok?

PATTINSON: Yes. I mean -- yes.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: Ok. You know, Patti, your insight here is so fascinating to me because you`re the body language expert. What was his body language there saying? Was he looking for cover from David Cronenberg? Him drinking -- basically saying --

WOOD: Actually, he`s looking to that director for comfort, then he uses the big old coffee cup, grabs this from the outside to block his face again. And I don`t know if you noticed it, but he does a tongue thrust as he answers that question, really mad again at having to talk about this.

TURNER: So he`s thrusting his tongue at Jenny D`Attoma.

WOOD: Absolutely. It`s micro-facial; it`s very quick, but he`s mad.

TURNER: Oh my goodness. All right. Well, we counted down R-Patz`s top three hits.

Now we`re going to move on to the top three misses in the "Showbiz Countdown" of the R-Patz media blitz. Let`s take a look at this side by side of Robert Pattinson from his appearances in New York. Now, to be clear, I thought he looked really great when he rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday morning. But just a couple of hours later, he showed up in an interview with SHOWBIZ TONIGHT in a T-shirt.

Jenn, now look, he`s cute, but I think he missed the memo on how to dress for an interview -- Interview 101.

HOBBY: I think he`s probably trying to just be a little bit more relaxed in this setting. Maybe he feels like he`ll be a little bit more comfortable because he`s got to do this interview and he knows he`s going to get these difficult questions about his personal life that he doesn`t have to answer.

But I tend to agree with you, the T-shirt was a little bit of a miss. I don`t care how designer it is.

TURNER: Yes, I agree. You know I have to say that when I interviewed him in November for "Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1", he had on a flannel shirt. So it`s not like he gets too dressed up for those interviews. But Patti, you jump in here because I want to hear what you have to say about this, too.

WOOD: Right. And also, whatever you wear is going to affect your body language in the interviews. So when he`s wearing that suit, his shoulders go back. He looks hot, hot, hot, but then he`s got that t-shirt on and it just naturally makes your shoulders go down and in. You`re so comfortable, your body collapses slightly, and then that makes him very protective of his heart, that vulnerable part of the body. So he looks more vulnerable. He looks uncomfortable when he should be at ease.

TURNER: You know, maybe -- and Jenn, I don`t know, you kind of touched on this a little bit. Do you think that he was just saying, "Ok, I want to feel comfortable in my own skin because I know I`m going to have to go through a lot of uncomfortableness so let me just wear what I feel the most comfortable in?

HOBBY: Probably. I think he`s trying to, yes, just relax a little bit and go, ok, this might feel like this is going to be three days long, but it`s just going to be a little while, and it`s just going to be a few interviews and I`ve just got to get through it. So maybe that was sort of his comfort blanket there.

TURNER: All right. Well, you know what, I`m going to add that sticking my tongue out at Jenny D`Attoma, our producer, on the list of misses. But we`ve still got two more; number two and number one in the R- Patz misses in the "Showbiz Countdown". So Jenn Hobby and Patti Wood, don`t you guys move a muscle because this is good stuff. We`re going to get to that one in just a minute, ok.

So Robert Pattinson is on the pity train tonight, you know but with the bit news of her engagement to Justin Theroux, it looks like Jennifer Aniston is finally getting off that sad locomotive. Can you believe it? People have stopped saying Jen is unlucky in love. So SHOWBIZ dares to ask, is the Jen Aniston Pitt-y party over for good?

This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PATTINSON: It`s about having total disassociation.

CRONENBERG: People think they know what`s going on, but they don`t really know.

PATTINSON: And on top of that, loads of people just make it up, anyway. It doesn`t make any difference.

CRONENBERG: That`s true.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: You know, R-Patz sort of seems to be lapping up all the tense interview moments with nothing but sheer laughter. It`s kind of an all-out giggle fest for him.

Welcome back to the "Showbiz Countdown" of Robert Pattinson`s greatest hits and misses this weekend, the first media blitz since Kristen Stewart cheated on him.

Now, here`s where we`re at. At number three on the "Showbiz Countdown" of hits, Robert Pattinson has handled everything with class. Number two on the hit list, his R-Patz girl talk with Jon Stewart. Number 1 on the hit list, telling SHOWBIZ TONIGHT flat out that most of the stuff you read about him has nothing to do with reality.

Now on the miss list, number 3 on the "Showbiz Countdown", Pattinson`s wardrobe miss coming drecked (ph) to interviews in a white undershirts.

(inaudible) number 2 on the "Showbiz Countdown" of misses, and you know what, this has to be R-Patz`s giggle fest. When he confronted with questions about how he`s doing since Kristen`s cheating scandal first broke, look at this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

D`ATTOMA: How are you? Is Robert Pattinson ok?

PATTINSON: Yes.

Things get pretty excited about -- kind of whatever.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: Now you`ve got me laughing. Considering all the reports about R-Patz mending a broken heart, you know, he really does have the case of the giggles. Let`s take a look at all the headlines about his interviews and how he`s kind of been giggling through them all.

Back with me again is body language expert Patti Wood and entertainment reporter Jenn Hobby. Now Patti, come on. This has got to be more than just a simple case of the giggles. I`m sure his body language tells you something more there.

WOOD: Absolutely. Laughter is a very common cover when you`re withholding information in deception detection. When I`m analyzing a murder trial, I see laughter sometimes in that awkwardness of the moment.

Here`s the distinction. When he`s asked about Kristen Stewart -- he laughs, his body language goes down, and his voice, because the vocal cords tighten when you do that in the laughs goes down as well. When he`s asked about the movie, when he`s making jokes, his whole body lifts up, he`s truly happy, and naturally the vocal cords stretch out and he`s relaxed.

So I would say as a media coach laugh happy, let your body language go up, but don`t laugh when you`re stressed -- doesn`t look good.

TURNER: Jenn, what do you say? Laughing to keep from crying? Is that what he`s doing?

HOBBY: I actually think he`s laughing to fill the space and not be rude to the interviewers. I think it`s his way of saying I don`t want to answer your question but I also don`t want to be rude to you and say I`m not going to answer any personal questions. I think it`s his way of deflecting it --

WOOD: Yes.

HOBBY: -- and really sort of making it a more comfortable setting between him and the interviewer.

TURNER: And he kind of leaves his words in his cup, like (inaudible).

HOBBY: Yes.

TURNER: That takes us now to Number on the "Showbiz Countdown" of R- Patz`s misses during his media blitz this week. And you know what, and it`s got to be his confession that he`s cheap. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PATTINSON: My biggest problem in my life is I`m cheap. And I didn`t hire a publicist. And in every awkward interview, you know, normally actors get everything scripted.

JON STEWARD: Right. So if you come up with an anecdote, I`m going to ask you, so, I hear your summer in France has been lovely.

PATTINSON: I don`t know. I was like -- I should have -- I`m going to hire a publicist.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: Jenn, do you agree? Big miss that he was too cheap to hire a publicist with everything that`s going on with him?

HOBBY: I think it`s actually a really sweet, self-deprecating story that helps him fill in the blanks right here. You know, it makes us love him even more. Like, oh wow, really. He`s a real guy? He got his heart broken and he`s cheap. So I thought it was a great story to tell.

TURNER: Yes, you know what, I actually thought it was kind of endearing as well. Like, I am a superstar in Hollywood and guess what, I don`t have a handler. So that makes him a little bit more approachable I think.

Patti Wood, Jenn Hobby, thank you guys very, very much.

There is a lot -- a lot going on tonight, like the fact that everyone is talking about Jennifer Aniston`s engagement, so here`s the big question tonight. Will she now finally be able to shake off that ex-Mrs. Pitt label? Is the Pitt-y party for Jen finally over?

This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

TURNER: Tonight, Aniston`s Pitt-y party. It`s been seven long years since Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt divorced, but since that big split, it seems tabloids and some fans have actually really felt sorry for Jen. The headlines over the years have ranged from, "Jen, unlucky in love" to, "Will Jen ever be happy?"

Well, now that Jen is engaged to Justin, will she escape these labels and will the Aniston Pitt-y party finally end? Joining me from New York is entertainment journalist and founder of gossipDavid.com, David Caplan. David just wrote a really special article about this very topic for hlntv.com. And also in New York, "Inside Edition" correspondent Megan Alexander.

Now David, in this article that you wrote, you say there was this collective sigh of relief after Jen got engaged. Why do you think so many people have been worried about her?

DAVID CAPLAN, GOSSIPDAVID.COM: I mean it`s amazing for people to be worried about Jennifer Aniston because she`s gorgeous, she`s successful, she`s had a string of celebrity boyfriends. But people have really -- there`s been a tenor in the coverage of her love life that, oh my God, is Jen really ever going to find her soul mate? Is she ever even getting married, you know, because she`s in her early 40s so there`s pandemonium?

So people have really been sort of quote, "concerned about her" and maybe more fabricated by a lot of the celebrity magazines but people really feel that she`s been, quote, "unlucky in love".

TURNE: Yes. I admit, she`s kind of a girlfriend in my head, and you always want to protect and take up for your girlfriend. But there`s also been a lot of other Hollywood actresses that have gotten divorced -- Sandra Bullock, Eva Longoria, Halle Barry to name a few. And we could also make the argument for them that they`ve been unlucky in love.

So Megan, you know, I actually I have some theories about this. But I want to ask you, why do you think the focus has been on Jen`s love life?

ALEXANDER: Yes. Well, I think number one, none of those ladies that you mentioned were ever married to Brad Pitt. Jennifer Aniston was. And when you think about the ultimate superstar, the ultimate good-looking actor, it`s Brad Pitt.

And so coming off of that marriage, I think so many people felt, oh, any gosh, who is going to measure up? Who is going to be next in her life? And Brad Pitt went on to be with one lady, Angelina Jolie. He`s stayed consistently with her, made a family with her. We`ve seen Jennifer bounce from guy to guy, so people are hoping that she will found someone to stay with for the rest of her life.

And like you mentioned, Nischelle, she`s the girl next door, America`s sweetheart or best friend. Never mind the fact that maybe she`s enjoyed being single all these years, but we feel like it`s our responsibility to help her find Mr. Right somehow.

TURNER: You know what, that`s the point though because she has never played the pity girl. In fact --

ALEXANDER: Right.

TURNER: -- she`s always done the opposite and said look guys, I`m happy. Listen to what she said when she was talking about her dating life with Ellen DeGeneres.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ELLEN DEGENERES, TALK SHOW HOST: All right, Jen. Let`s talk about your dating life.

JENNIFER ANISTON, ACTRESS: Oh. What?

DEGENERES: Why?

ANISTON: Because why are people so fascinating by it?

DEGENERES: I don`t know. And I`m not asking who you`re dating, but how come everyone -- and also not only who you`re dating but that you`re devastated. They`re always talking about you`re devastated.

ANISTON: No. I don`t know how I get that into the story every time.

DEGENERES: What -- you know, how come you`re not devastating people.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: At least she can laugh about it.

CAPLAN: Right.

TURNER: You know David, now that she`s engaged, do you think people are finally going to be able to close this Brad Pitt chapter for her?

CAPLAN: Absolutely not. It`s been so many years and people haven`t. And you know, she`s been with a lot of other high-profile guys -- you know, Vince Vaughn, that model Paul Felfer (ph), Bradley Cooper, and then it seems (inaudible) that people are still interested in Brad Pitt.

It`s just a perfect storm, this story, you know. It`s like Megan was saying, it`s not every day you have someone of Jennifer Aniston`s caliber who has an ex-husband that`s Brad Pitt`s caliber who maybe cheated on her with someone of Angelina`s caliber. It`s just going to go on forever. People love this -- it is the perfect, perfect soap opera.

ALEXANDER: Yes, yes.

TURNER: Well, I want her to have the last laugh, get married, have babies and live happily ever after. David Caplan, Megan Alexander, thank you guys very much.

So as Jen now gets ready for her wedding party, I`d like an invite; Team USA swimmer Ryan Lochte is the life of the party. After his amazing showing at the London Olympics and now he`s making his first splash into the world of TV. We`ll show you how he did, coming up next.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

TURNER: Tonight an Olympic swimming champ tests the TV waters. SHOWBIZ reveals what show Ryan Lochte is about to make a splash on.

Plus, the groundswell to get the Spice Girls back on tour. So will they do it?

And Robert Pattinson gets real with SHOWBIZ. What he told us about Kristen Stewart.

That tops "The Buzz" today.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: R-Patz clears the record. Robert Pattinson opens up to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT about his tough breakup from Kristen Stewart and reports he`s been drinking to drown his sorrows. But Pattinson tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, you can`t believe everything you read.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PATTINSON: Since the first "Twilight" I mean you enter this kind of realm where everything is -- you know, you get stuff reported about you and it`s weird.

Loads of people just make it up, anyway. It doesn`t make any difference.

D`ATTOMA: So you just laugh it off? I mean you really are ok?

PATTINSON: Yes. I mean (inaudible).

TURNER: Lochte`s TV splash. After taking home five Olympic medals from London, swimmer Ryan Lochte is headed to one of America`s most famous zip codes, "90210". This is Lochte`s first TV series appearance and he`ll be playing himself.

The show`s executive producers tell SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Team USA are all-stars in our book, and we`re so excited he`s making an appearance on the show. We only wish the episode was a surf event so we could have gotten him in the water, but he deserves a little rest on dry land." Lochte will appear in the October 29th episode of "90210".

No Spice Girls reunion. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT just learned that despite wowing fans at the Olympics closing ceremony the Spice Girls are not planning a reunion touring any time soon. A rep for the band says reports about the girls planning to tour are false. But the rep did confirm the Spice Girls inspired musical, "Viva Forever" will still premier in London this December.

And also tonight, the curse of reality TV -- are marriages caught on reality cameral like Chad Johnson`s doomed from the start. Dr. Drew takes that on right now.
