THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.

A.J. HAMMER, HOST: Tonight the SHOWBIZ Countdown, "Top Showdowns" Adele at war with Madonna. And Lady Gaga about sex? Anderson Cooper takes on "Real Housewives" star Teresa "The Terror" Giudice, but which will be the No. 1 SHOWBIZ showdown of the day?

Hello and thank you four watching. I`m A.J. Hammer with two big SHOWBIZ Countdowns tonight, including the top five stories breaking today.

Going to extremes like the Botox bagel. Look at that. That`s right. People are going to extremes right now by getting Botox on their foreheads so they can, well, look like they have a bagel in their forehead. What`s next? Cream cheese injections?

And pop star Ke$ha going to extremes. Her brand-new revelation today that she had sex with a ghost. And I have to guess she did so after drinking a lot of spirits. OK.

The countdown and the No. 1 reveal coming up, but we begin with our first SHOWBIZ Countdown of the night. It`s today`s top three "Star Showdowns." Wait until you see this one.

At No. 3 Adele`s showdown with Lady Gaga and Madonna and other music stars. Adele just accusing them of overdoing the whole sex thing. Now, on "The View" today, Whoopi Goldberg is saying, hey, live and let live, OK?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WHOOPI GOLDBERG, CO-HOST, ABC`S "THE VIEW": Wait a minute. What happened to everybody does their thing the way they do it? I mean, I love the way Adele sings, but, you know, Lady Gaga, she -- that`s her. Let her do her, you do you and let everybody live in peace. What the hell?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes, Whoopi. But I`m sorry, because Adele begs to differ with you. She gave a brand-new interview to the U.K. paper "The Sun," and here`s what she`s saying about all this: "Exploiting yourself sexually is not a good look. I don`t find it encouraging."

Well, let`s see how Iliza Shlesinger feels about that. Iliza is the host of the great syndicated dating show "Excused," and the former winner of NBC`s "Last Comic Standing." Great to see you, Iliza.

And in Hollywood tonight someone who has certainly dealt with superstars for decades, legendary agent Sam Haskell. Sam is the author of this book selling -- best-selling book, "Promises I Made My Mother."

All right, Iliza, you first. Do you agree with Whoopi? Is Adele out of line for being critical like this?

ILIZA SHLESINGER, HOST, "EXCUSED": Absolutely. The only reason she`s upset that the other girls are acting sexy and using their sexuality is because she can`t. Adele has a superior voice, but she walks around looking like Divine and other people are supposed to cover up like her. Come on. Let them -- they`re skinny. Let them -- don`t shun them just because they`re thin. That`s not fair.

HAMMER: You know, I`m looking at that image we were just showing of her, and you mentioned Divine and that`s pretty good.

SHLESINGER: Lay off on the fake eyelashes.

HAMMER: I love Adele but, look, Sam, you`ve worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood on really setting the stage on how they are presented to the world. We know that sex sells. If Madonna and Gaga were your clients, would you at all tell them to tone down the sexy? I wouldn`t imagine that.

SAM HASKELL, HOLLYWOOD AGENT: No, and I think that Gaga and Madonna have their own issues with each other. They feel that there`s some sort of cross-pollination, shall we say, between what their choices are.

But here`s the deal. Adele is very authentic, and her authenticity is what makes people respond to her, so she should just hold onto that and not criticize other people. Just be authentic. Her audience`s response with her success is saying, we`re going to buy your albums because we like you, and six Grammys shows you that they are.

But let everyone find their own path. Everyone`s on a journey. Let them find their own.

SHLESINGER: And what`s the point? It`s not like people are picking between a Gaga album and Adele album. It`s two totally different things.

HAMMER: Yes. No, that`s a great point. That is a great point. I think, you know, people are a little too often critical of other stars, for instance, when what`s being talked about isn`t really the agenda, if you get my drift there.

But let`s move from a superstar body image blowup to reality`s mean girl.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TERESA GIUDICE, REALITY TV STAR: I didn`t do nothing to her. She was (EXPLETIVE DELETED) going crazy and jealous and like -- it was the jealousy was eating up her and eating her up inside because I didn`t do -- never did jack (EXPLETIVE DELETED) to her. I never did anything.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. At No. 2 on the SHOWBIZ Countdown, "Star Showdowns," Anderson Cooper going head to head with a hot-head, "Real Housewife" Teresa Giudice, calling her out. He did it on his daytime talk show, "Anderson Live," and he did it because he feels she`s being a mean girl. Let`s watch this together.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON COOPER, HOST, "ANDERSON LIVE": So why do you want to be that person?

GIUDICE: I`m not that person, but you have to understand, I know Caroline a long time, and at the reunion show, I had four women attacking me. I did nothing to any of them.

COOPER: But you don`t need to say -- no matter who`s attacking you, you don`t need to say to somebody, "You`ve got three rolls of fat."

GIUDICE: All right. Do you know what she said to me?

COOPER: I don`t care. You`re not 12 years old.

GIUDICE: But you know what?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Seems to agree with Anderson as he kind of let her have it there, Iliza. Isn`t that what you have to do, though, to find a lasting place on reality TV? Because we know that the villains get all the attention.

SHLESINGER: That is true. First of all, Teresa Giudice, she let everyone mispronounce her name for several years. That`s how brilliant she is. She shouldn`t be allowed to speak, period.

But on this, by the same token, Anderson Cooper, it`s not like he was having Diane Sawyer on his show. So to have a guest on just so you can make fun of them directly to their face, I mean, this isn`t Dr. Phil. So he shouldn`t -- I don`t know. I think that`s a little immature, but that being said, she`s like the worst person maybe ever.

HAMMER: She might be. I`m not sure. I have spoken with her before, and she`s very defensive about her behavior and claims to have risen above all of it, but I don`t actually see that happening.

But now we must move from the rough arena of reality TV to an all real -- all-too-real reality for sports fans tonight. This is No. 1 on the SHOWBIZ Countdown, "Star Showdowns," ripping the replacement referees.

Oh, yes, the real refs finally back on the field tonight for Thursday night football, thank goodness. That was after the NFL and the refs reached a tentative deal. The lockout was lifted for now, but not before those replacement refs became the biggest joke in America this week.

Here`s CNN`s Jeanne Moos with the biggest laughs about the lockout.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

JEANNE MOOS, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): Who are we going to have to kick around...

JAY LENO, HOST, NBC`S "THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO": These guys have blown more calls than T-Mobile. That`s how bad.

MOOS: ... when the replacement refs are gone? No more "Top Ten Signs You`re a Bad Ref."

DAVID LETTERMAN, HOST, CBS`S "THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN": Missed last three calls because beer vendor was slow giving you change.

MOOS: Football fans on the Internet will have to find someone not wearing stripes to insult. "Three weeks ago, we worked at Foot Locker."

(on camera) Forget roughing the passer. These days, everyone`s roughing the referee.

(voice-over) After the so-called "failed Mary" pass that had two replacement refs making opposite calls, even their hand signals were mocked on "Live with Kelly and Michael."

KELLY RIPA, CO-HOST, ABC`S "LIVE WITH KELLY AND MICHAEL": It`s like a Madonna show. Something like this and like that. Woo!

MOOS: "The New York Post" concocted a blind ref with a guide dog for its cover. A Lasik provider in Wisconsin offered free Lasik to the refs who officiated at the infamous Seahawks-Packers game.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The referees, obviously, they had some vision issues.

MOOS: And if they couldn`t see, at least they could hear the parody songs making the rounds. Instead of "Call Me Maybe," Minneapolis radio station KFAN introduced "Call It Maybe."

UNIDENTIFIED MALE (singing): Hey I just met you. That play was crazy. What`s his number? I`ll call it maybe.

MOOS: And a racy rap song called "Whistle" was turned against the refs.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE (singing): Just bought a whistle baby, whistle baby. I`m a scab.

MOOS: They`ve gotten picked on like scabs.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE (singing): It might take me a little longer to get every call a little wronger.

MOOS: In Green Bay, Wisconsin, the home of the Packers, who lost after the disputed call, WGBA brought in a replacement weather guy.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Two hundred degrees below today we`re looking at. And...

(SOUND EFFECT: WHISTLE)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Get out of here.

MOOS: Even President Obama piled on. When a college student with a broken wrist introduced him, the president joked he was injured when fouled while playing Frisbee.

BARACK OBAMA, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: It is clear replacement refs were in the game.

MOOS: Jimmy Kimmel`s game was "Are You Smarter than a Replacement Ref?" They asked folks to judge the instant replay.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I thought both sides had their hands on the ball, as far as I could tell.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You are not smarter than a replacement ref. I`m sorry. You need bigger glasses, I think.

MOOS: Give her the free Lasik.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE (singing): I`ll call it maybe.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: That was CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

All right. Iliza, I mean, come on, as a comedienne, this is comic gold here. Were you laughing or were you crying over this whole debacle?

SHLESINGER: It`s actually neither, because before I`m a comedienne, I`m a woman, so I wasn`t going to watch before, and I`m still not going to watch now. I don`t care about football.

HAMMER: Well, that`s pretty simple.

Sam, OK, if we`re going to play based on the sexual -- the sex stereotypes, Sam being the guy on the panel tonight, were you crying over this whole thing?

HASKELL: You know what? I thought it was ridiculous what happened at the Packers/Seahawks game, and the this and the this. And it was just too much.

And I think that people are thrilled that they`ve finally come to terms with a deal, but here`s what`s most important, is that everybody can laugh. Everybody can have fun with this.

And I want to give a shout out to whoever just edited that piece. Because everyone that`s heard about this needs to see that piece that you just put on the air, because that`s what it`s all about, a good laugh.

HAMMER: That, of course, would be the great Jeanne Moos. And Iliza, Even if you don`t give a damn about football, you have to admit that weather guy saying 200 degrees below zero, that`s pretty funny.

SHLESINGER: It`s funny. The whole thing is really funny. And especially during this horrific presidential race, it`s nice to have something like that where we can all come together and be like, "Oh, that`s stupid for sure." We can all agree on that.

I think all those games should be do-overs, by the way. It`s not fair.

HAMMER: Yes. Do over. All right, Iliza, Sam, thank you both so much.

SHLESINGER: Thank you.

HAMMER: Remember to check out Iliza...

HASKELL: Thank you, A.J.

HAMMER: ... on her reality dating show "Excused." Check your local listings for show times and stations. And Sam`s book, "Promises I Made My Mother," available in stores everywhere.

And as we move on tonight, on a very different note, we`ve got the touching story of one of Justin Bieber`s youngest fans tonight. A 6-year-old girl, dubbed Mrs. Bieber after Justin exchanged vows was her, lost her battle with brain cancer. Well, tonight you will her Justin`s emotional tribute.

And we are going to extremes on the SHOWBIZ Countdown tonight. The top five stories that I guarantee you will leave you speechless, like the extreme trend called bagel heading. Look at this: shaping your forehead into a bagel.

Plus Snoop`s extreme parenting. Teaching his son safe smoking? That`s right. It`s the most bizarre SHOWBIZ Countdown ever, perhaps. "Going to Extremes," who possibly could come out on top of this thing?

This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: And baby makes five for Reese Witherspoon. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you Reese and her husband welcomed a little boy, Tennessee James, into their family today.

Now, Tennessee joins big sister Ava and big brother Deacon, who are Reese`s children from her marriage to Ryan Philippe.

Well, it`s been a tough week or Lady Gaga. Coming up next, we find out if her weight drama has actually hurt or helped her rep.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: What is Sharon Stone thinking? Look at her. She looks terrific in this picture, but what do you think she`s sharing with her friends in this shot? Well, I want you to tell us what you think is going on in Sharon`s head. Go to HLNTV.com/ShowbizTonight. Give us your answer so we can reveal our favorites of what you send us right here. We`ll do it tomorrow night at 11 p.m. Eastern, 8 Pacific on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m still working on mine.

Well, Oscar winners, Emmy winners, Grammy winners, there really is only one superstar who can get them all to hang out with him on his hit TV show week after week after week. I`m talking about stars like Halle Berry, Eric Stonestreet from "Modern Family," rapper Common. I mean, this guy has better connections than some of the biggest Hollywood agents and directors.

So who is this power house? It`s Elmo. That`s right. And as "Sesame Street" starts a new season, Elmo is getting a reboot. "Elmo`s World" is over. His new segment is going to be called "Elmo: The Musical."

Well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter was very lucky. She was able to score a big interview with the little guy for a special SHOWBIZ Countdown, Elmo`s top five guests on this season of "Elmo: The Musical."

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

KAREEN WYNTER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT: We have a special SHOWBIZ Countdown. We want to pick your brain just a little bit. Ready to get your thinking cap on?

ELMO, MUPPET VOICED BY KEVIN CLASH: OK, OK.

WYNTER: We want to know your top five guests this season. All right. Let`s start with No. 5.

ELMO: No. 5, Mr. Steve Carell.

WYNTER: And why is it? I know he`s a funny guy.

ELMO: He`s very funny. Yes, he was really fun.

WYNTER: All right. No. 4, who is No. 4 and why?

ELMO: Train.

WYNTER: Wow. That`s a big get.

ELMO: We got to sing with them and the Count got to sing with them, too.

(MUSIC)

WYNTER: No. 3, what about No. 3? Who would that be?

ELMO: Blake Griffin.

WYNTER: Really?

ELMO: Yes.

BLAKE GRIFFIN, BASKETBALL STAR: A chicken? You want me to play basketball against a chicken?

ELMO: He was really tall.

WYNTER: Oh, my gosh. You know what? Everyone is taller than you, Elmo, I`m sorry.

ELMO: That`s true. Elmo is OK with that.

WYNTER: All right. We`re getting down; we`re getting closer to No. 1. Who makes the No. 2 spot? Tell me.

ELMO: Mr. Jon Hamm.

WYNTER: Wow. He`s handsome.

ELMO: And he`s very funny, too.

WYNTER: Here we are, we`re at that No. 1 spot for the SHOWBIZ Countdown. I was going to say that. Who takes the top spot, Elmo?

ELMO: Miss Halle Berry.

WYNTER: Oh, my gosh, she`s gorgeous.

HALLE BERRY, ACTRESS: Oh, little fish. Hi, fish. OK. Now, let`s watch this little fish nibble on this sandwich.

WYNTER: Did she give you a little kiss?

ELMO: Yes, she did.

WYNTER: Kind of like this? Now I`m no Halle Berry, but I get to kiss Elmo. Thank you so much for counting down. We`ll be watching.

ELMO: OK.

WYNTER: All right, thanks, Elmo.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Look at you, hanging out with Elmo, kissing Elmo. Come on. Look, I don`t know anybody who doesn`t love that little red guy.

WYNTER: Hey, A.J., I`m a fan. No matter how old you are, Elmo, he just makes you smile from ear to ear.

He mentioned his top five favorite guests, but he`s also got a constellation of stars lined up for "Elmo: The Musical." Listen to this: Charlize Theron, Melissa McCarthy and Zac Efron. Those are just a few names.

The 43rd season of "Sesame Street" kicked off, and you can catch Elmo and the entire gang on your local PBS station. I`m just going to be smiling all day. Got to hang out with Elmo.

HAMMER: Elmo is smiling all day because you kissed him. Thanks a lot, Kareen. That was terrific.

As we move on tonight, Sofia Vergara reveals the real story about her butt- baring wardrobe malfunction.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SOFIA VERGARA, ACTRESS: I got up. I wanted to take a picture with her and her Emmy, whatever. And then I see my friend, Jeanne (ph) and my boyfriend, Nick, like running behind me, like, "No!"

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: You might split your pants when you hear Sofia`s story but Jennifer Garner has an extreme story of her own tonight about her husband, Ben Affleck`s, intimate super power. It`s the SHOWBIZ Countdown, "Going to Extremes." Who will come out on top, though?

This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MADONNA, SINGER: We have a black Muslim in the White House. That is (EXPLETIVE DELETED).

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That is Madonna`s on-stage endorsement of President Obama at a concert in D.C., and it is getting her a ton of heat this week, as YouTube clips of her remarks blaze across the globe.

Now, Madonna has already apologized for calling President Obama Muslim. She said she was being ironic.

OK, so what is Madonna`s latest controversy doing for her reputation and what about Lady Gaga`s rep this week because it has been a tough week for her. She`s getting slammed for gaining weight, of all things, and even getting targeted by a New York politician.

With me with the exclusive reputation rundown right now, it`s Howard Bragman, the vice chairman of Reputation.com joining me in New York tonight.

Howard, I must say I am glad that Gaga is standing strong after some people were actually criticizing her for gaining weight. I hate when they do that. Even a New York politician was calling her names for her on-stage pot smoking in Amsterdam, but the great thing here is it looks like a lot of people are feeling for Gaga. Her rep is up 58 percent. Why are so many people identifying with her?

HOWARD BRAGMAN, REPUTATION.COM: A.J., confession is not only good for the soul, but it`s good for your fan base. A lot of her female audience really respects the fact that she came out and acknowledged that she was bulimic as a younger woman and that she`s not going to be defined by how much she weighs but who she is. And people really, really resonated with that message. And it`s not just up really positive. It`s up three times the buzz, which is a really big number, A.J.

HAMMER: Good for her. So confessions are good, accolades are good, too. We have superstar singer Katy Perry having an even better week than Gaga. "Billboard" magazine just named her their woman of the year. That shoots her reputation up 65 percent, Howard? Are you surprised it went up that high or would you think it would have gone higher?

BRAGMAN: No. She is always high. People love Katy Perry. She makes very few missteps in her career. When she does, fans tend to be really sympathetic. She kind of bared her soul with a documentary this year, and people were really happy for her success, A.J., and it`s well-deserved. She`s a great talent and a great lady. She really is.

HAMMER: No question about that. All right. What about Madonna, 62 percent negative buzz for her onstage support of President Obama?

BRAGMAN: You know what? Madonna should stick to music and not irony. You know, I love Madonna`s politics. I love when she`s outrageous, but this is one joke that did not fly, and people who supported Obama thought she was being negative.

You know, we do live in a country where 17 percent of people think the president is a Muslim, and she was trying to make an ironic joke, but, boy, it didn`t work, A.J.

HAMMER: Yes, that fell flat. I`m guessing Madonna used to the negative reputation territory.

BRAGMAN: She will survive, OK?

HAMMER: Howard Bragman, thanks so much.

Let me get to what`s coming up at the bottom of the hour.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ELLEN DEGENERES, HOST, "ELLEN": Are you going to have more?

JENNIFER GARNER, ACTRESS: No, no, I`m definitely -- I plan to be done.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: This is great. Jennifer Garner says she`s not having any children anymore, but she might not have a choice in the matter. You have to hear the extremely intimate reason why.

Plus, Snoop`s extreme parenting style which includes his son smoking weed. It`s the SHOWBIZ Countdown tonight, "Going to Extremes." We`re counting down the top five next. Wait until you see who is No. 1 tonight.

This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KE$HA, SINGER: I have a song called "Supernatural." It`s about experiences with the supernatural in a sexy way.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Right now on the SHOWBIZ Countdown, "Going to Extremes." Ke$ha reveals she had sex with a ghost, but is Ke$ha`s close encounter more extreme than Snoop Dogg schooling his son on weed? I`m thinking Snoop`s been drinking a little too much gin and juice. But who do you think will toke -- I mean take -- our top spot on our SHOWBIZ Countdown of stories that really went to extremes.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT continues right now.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thanks for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer.

And now, onto the SHOWBIZ Countdown, "Going to Extremes". The top five brand new stories that just had us in shock today, because they are so wild, they are so other worldly, and, quite frankly, downright trippy. Speaking of trippy, let`s kick off our countdown with number five.

Snoop Dogg just revealing he smokes weed with his teenage son. That`s right. Snoop is depending the high times he enjoys with his 18-year-old son who accordion to the name Spunky Dunky.

Now, Spunky Dunky recently tweeted a pick of himself, lighting his dad`s huge two-foot bong. Well today, Snoop, a known pop aficionado, of course, tells "The Hollywood Reporter" that you know what? He has just passed along what he knows to his son like any good father. What better way to learn than from the master? My kids can do whatever the hell they want. For me to say otherwise would be hypocritical. "Me and my son is mellow. I`m his father so I want to show him the proper way because he looks up to me."

All right, a father teaching his son the proper way to smoke up. What does that remind me of?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Who taught you how to do this stuff?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You, all right? I learned it by watching you.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Well, there you go. You remember that? That anti-drug PSA? That was back in the `90s. A son learning about pot from his dad was seen as a bad thing back then. Oh, I guess things have changed a bit.

Here in New York "Inside Edition" correspondent Megan Alexander is with us tonight. In Hollywood, legendary Hollywood agent, Sam Haskell. Sam is the author of this terrific best-selling book, "Promises I Made My Mother."

So Snoop is saying it`s his parental duty to share his love of weed with his son, and if he didn`t let his kids do what they wanted to do, well, that would be hypocritical.

Megan, does Snoop have a good point or do you think, I don`t know, he`s smoking something?

MEGAN ALEXANDER, CORRESPONDENT, "INSIDE EDITION": A.J., what do you think? I think the headline here is "Great Rapper, Lousy Father". I`m sure we don`t want to get into a huge debate here on why we should or should not legalize marijuana, but, I mean, countless examples here, that it impairs judgment, slows your decision making, lowers your IQ, hinders brain development in teenagers. I`m not sure where Snoop is going here in terms of a father caring for their son and wanting the best for them. But I`m not going to take him too seriously because I think that`s the best way to react to this ridiculous statement that he makes.

HAMMER: Well, it`s Snoop Dogg after all. You have a very, very young child, still years before you will have to deal with this, Megan.

Sam, on the other hand, you`re a parent of adult children. I need to get your take on Snoop smoking weed with his 18-year-old son.

SAM HASKELL, AUTHOR, PROMISES I MADE MY MOTHER: Well, as the father of a 23-year-old daughter and a 24-year-old son, I can tell you I have never smoked weed with my children. I think that it`s a terrible example, and I realize that he`s trying to cover it by saying I can`t be hypocritical because of the lifestyle I lead. But maybe Snoop should consider changing his lifestyle and setting a better example for his 18-year-old son. I think he`s wrong with this and I don`t think it should be given any attention than it already has.

HAMMER: All right. Well then, let`s moving from a smoking rapper to a smoking hot dress bringing us to number four on the countdown, "Going to Extremes".

"Modern Family "star Sofia Vergara, the lovely Sofia Vergara, finally explaining that little wardrobe malfunction as she suffered at the Emmy Awards. Did you see this? Her stunning dress ripped from the back? Sofia had tweeted a picture of the very revealing rip and when she went on Katie Couric`s show, she told the hilarious story of how she learned her dress was ripped during the Emmy ceremony shortly after her "Modern Family" co- star Julie Bowen won. Let`s watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

VERGARA: Julie was coming back from doing the press from winning the Emmy and it was like in the intermission or the commercial, and I see her and she was sitting behind me. So I got up, I wanted to take a picture with her and her Emmy, whatever.

And then I see my friend, Jeanne (ph) and my boyfriend, Nick, like running behind me, like, "No!" And I was like, what? They`re like, "Come back, sit down." I`m like, "No, the commercial is not done. Let me take a picture." Because they usually -- they make you sit down, you know --

KATIE COURIC, HOST, "KATIE": Right.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I love Sofia Vergara and quite frankly, she can explain anything. And I would just love it. But Megan, seriously, can you imagine anything more mortifying than finding out your dress has ripped in a very bad place right in the middle of a nationally televised award show.

ALEXANDER: Exactly. And so much effort is put into getting that perfect dress and that perfect look for this award show. But I tell you what, A.J.; this was a real life moment. You`ve been on the red carpet. I have been on the red carpet. We see these tips of things all the time occur. People think celebrities are perfect and flawless in manicure. But I have interviewed stars barefoot before because my shoe snap.

So, I love it, Sofia, that you told this story. And I know all the guys enjoyed the picture.

HAMMER: Yes. She just laughs it off. I love that.

All right, from sexy Sofia to sex with a ghost. Yes. I kid you not about our number three on our countdown tonight, "Going to Extremes". It`s Ke$ha`s claim that she once got frisky with a ghost. That`s right. Ke$ha just revealed to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show that one of her new songs was inspired by a sexual encounter she once had with a poltergeist. Ke$ha didn`t get the ghost`s name. We actually like to think it was Casper. I mean, look at that, pretty cute couple there, right? Very nice.

Anyway, listen to exactly what Ke$ha told Ryan Seacrest about the friendliest ghost she knows. That`s cute.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KE$HA: I also have a song called "Supernatural". It`s about experiences with the supernatural in a sexy way.

RYAN SEACREST, TV & RADIO HOST: Oh. Yes. Don`t just go away pass that.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: What kind of sexy way?

KESHA: Well, I don`t know his name. He is the ghost.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Was it good?

KESHA: I mean, it was just like -- I had a couple experiences with the supernatural. I mean, I`m very open to it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. And listen, Ke$ha is certainly anything other than traditional, Sam. You`re a legendary Hollywood agent. You have worked with stars of all kinds and quite frank lie mind is open to the supernatural as well.

But, if one of your clients came up to you and said I just you know what, Sam, I just got busy with a ghost. And I`m going to sing a song about it. What kind of advice would you give them, maybe to take a little time off?

HASKELL: I would probably tell them not to use that example for promotion purposes and I think that`s what Ke$ha is probably trying to do. But, anyone who knows anything about the supernatural, if you believe in that, know that, you can see them but you can`t interact with them. So if you believe it, then you`ve got to be accurate in how you describe the experience. And I don`t think Ke$ha has had sex with a ghost.

HAMMER: Well, now, Sam, that isn`t your plane of existence. You know, you are perhaps operating at a completely different space than Ke$ha might be.

By the way, zimbio.com was quick to point out Ke$ha is not the only star to speak out about ghostly encounters, the romantic kind. Zimbio pointed out that actress Lucy Liu once told "Us Weekly" this. "Some sort of spirit came down from God knows where and made love to me. It was sheer bliss.

So, right there, you got the interaction going on. Also former "Boardwalk Empire" star, Paz de la Huerta, once told "The New York Times," Elvis got frisky with her at Graceland of all places. And you see this. She says, "I felt Elvis touch me. I felt his spirit go through me and gave me pleasure."

So now we have ghosts touching Ke$ha. She got in on this ghostly action, Megan. Are you buying the ghost story, keeping in mind this is Ke$ha we`re talking about, or do you think maybe she was, I don`t know, smoking something is Snoop and his son?

ALEXANDER: We all due respect, A.J., I think this is a creative way to promote an album and if those songs are truly magical, we`ll have to wait and see when the album comes out. She stirred the buzz very well. Let`s listen to the muse I can and see if it`s that good of an album.

HAMMER: Yes.

Well Sam, back to your point. You would say this isn`t subject matter you would necessarily encourage them to include on the album or use to promote on the all bum but look what`s happening here. We`re talking about it. She didn`t come on this show to talk about it. I played her talking about it and here we are promoting Ke$ha.

HASKELL: That`s right. And the thing about it is she`s getting all the attention she wants. I`m just asked for an opinion so I`m giving my opinion. She has a very vivid, very vivid imagination and maybe some really strange dreams.

HAMMER: Well, there`s a reason you have had the incredible success you have had for decades, Sam. So, I`m not going to sit here and argue with you at all.

And Megan and Sam, I want you both to stay right where you are because as weird and extremes as those stories may be, there`s a story out there that has to top our countdown of the day`s most extreme star stories tonight.

But could it be Jennifer Garner`s ultra revealing comment about her husband Ben Affleck? Wait until you hear about this TMI in the Garner-Affleck household. Or could it be a strange new Japanese trend. You are going to have to wait and see.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT will continue our countdown of stories that really went to extremes.

Also tonight, such a touching story I can`t wait to share it with you. One of Justin Bieber`s youngest fans, a 6-year-old who is dubbed Mrs. Bieber after Justin exchanged vow was her, sadly lost her battle with brain cancer. But tonight I can`t wait to share with you Justin`s emotional reaction and lasting tribute.

This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Tonight on the SHOWBIZ Countdown, we are counting down the top five stories that really went to the extremes. Let me run down where we stand so far.

At number five tonight, the rap star famous for his pot shows, Snoop Dogg shows his son how to smoke a doobie.

At number four tonight, Sofia Vergara explains her extremely revealing wardrobe malfunction that happened at the Emmy awards. And of course, she does it in a very special way.

At number three, Ke$ha`s extreme confession about having sex with a ghost.

That`s right. That takes us to number two on our SHOWBIZ Countdown of the top five stories that really went to the extremes. It`s going to actress Jennifer Garner`s extremely. I mean extremely candid talk about her husband, Ben Affleck, on Ellen`s talk show. Let`s watch this together.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DEGENERES: Are you going to keep having kids? Are you going to have more?

GARNER: No, no, I`m definitely -- I plan to be done. But, my husband is kind of a wonder sperm kind of guy so he just --

(LAUGHTER)

DEGENERES: That`s good to know.

GARNER: You don`t know. I mean, just have a look at him. You can see that. Anyway.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: And she grabs for her mug because clearly I think she didn`t realize what was coming out of her mouth at that time.

Megan Alexander is back with me in New York, a correspondent for "Inside Edition." In Hollywood tonight, it is Sam Haskell, a legendary Hollywood agent and the author of this fine book, "Promises I Made My Mother."

And how do you - how do you not love Jennifer Garner there. Blushing about what was coming out of her mouth there on the Ellen DeGeneres show today. Megan. I actually don`t believe she realized exactly what she was saying and the implications until it was too late.

ALEXANDER: Right. And she`s so cute and so -- she`s just so natural. And you know, A.J., this is a wonderful picture to see a Hollywood couple who have been married almost ten years, they have three kids, and she went on to share that Ben Affleck is a very hands on father, really makes time for his family. They seem to be very much teammates in their relationship. They both continue to work. It`s a nice picture to see today.

HAMMER: Yes, but did anybody really hear any of that after she talked about wonder sperm? I mean, really? Honestly. I don`t think I have ever said that on television. That may be a career first for me. Perhaps, you know, Ben should be walking a little taller today for the accolades I suppose we could call them being cast upon him, Sam. But at the same time I don`t know that I need to know that about Ben Affleck. Was this too much information in your mind?

HASKELL: Well, she may be thinking that very question right now, A.J., but I actually thought it was charming, and you know what? Sometimes guys need a little bit of a buildup, and when she made that kind of statement, it`s like, hey, yes, great. And I think it made him feel good and I think it would make any of us feel good.

HAMMER: Yes. All right. Well, there you go. And it just seemed like a perfect moment on the Ellen show which she seems to get a whole lot of. You thought that was extreme, didn`t you?

It wasn`t extreme enough to be number one tonight. We move from that extremely candid confession to what I think is certainly an extreme and also a downright bizarre trend that is on fire tonight in Japan. And this is number one in the SHOWBIZ Countdown of story that is went to the extreme.

Look at this. Some folks in Japan are having injections of saline in their foreheads. Look closely at this photograph here. They are injecting the saline, then whoever is doing the procedure is putting their thumb right in the middle of the forehead and what does that look like to you? Well, it`s called bagel heading. That`s right. This is done intentionally so it can look exactly like this photo. This process was captured for a great show on the National Geographic channel called "National Geographic Taboo." It airs on Sundays.

Megan, I`m looking at this. I`m literally without speech here, although, I have to get your take on it. To me, not only does it look extremely bizarre but it looks downright painful. Then again, it`s been said it`s better to look than to feel good, a bagel heading for you?

ALEXANDER: Oh, my God, A.J., what are the complications? What are the side effects? I mean, I think that is completely nuts, completely nuts. I don`t have words as well.

HAMMER: I`m looking at the picture right now, and, again, this is an extreme behavior which is why it`s number one, but look at these three. It looks like they have bagels embedded on their foreheads and they did it intentionally because they love it.

Now, personally, I don`t know about you, being a New Yorker I`m not crazy about the word bagel being associated with what to me is just a bizarre practice. That`s not where my mind goes when I think of a bagel. I don`t want it to be where my mind goes. A bagel, I mean, look at this. A bagel has no place being on someone`s forehead. It deserves a good smear of cream cheese, right, Sam?

ALEXANDER: Thank you.

HASKELL: Exactly right, A.J. this is all about getting attention to be a star of a reality show, and it`s amazing to me in this day and time in 2012 what extremes people will go to just to be on television. I come from a world where people want to get rid of their wrinkles or their spots or their difficult divots. And they are putting them in now? So, bagel --

HAMMER: And if -- can we put the picture up one more time, please.

ALEXANDER: I don`t want to see it again.

HAMMER: No, I`m showing it to you. And if you lie out in the sun and get a tan, it would be like toasting the bagel.

But, here is what I do know. I have been told it is actually a good practice to add moisture and good oils to the skin by putting a little piece of lox right up there.

All right. Megan Alexander, Sam Haskell, we will thankfully leave it there and move on tonight to what is truly a touching story. Big left turn here.

I love the story. Unfortunately, it`s due to some sad news. One of Justin Bieber`s littlest fan, a 6-year-old girl dubbed Mrs. Bieber after Justin exchanged vow was her, sadly has lost her battle with brain cancer.

But tonight, Justin has such emotional words about the loss of his biggest fan that will touch your heart. That is next.

This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Tonight, Justin Bieber`s big loss. There`s overwhelming reaction tonight to the death of Justin Bieber`s super fan, a little girl who called herself Mrs. Bieber. I`m talking about 6-year-old of Avalanna Ralph, the girl with a rare brain cancer who won Justin`s heart early in this year and unfortunately lost her brave battle to cancer just last night.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner is joining me from Hollywood with Justin`s incredible response to this unbelievably tragic story. It just breaks my heart.

NISCHELLE TURNER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT: Yes. Mine, too, A.J. You know, Justin was just over the moon for little Avalanna. He took her to his hotel suite in New York while on tour last year. They sat around. They ate cupcakes. They talked about his music. In his NBC special, you can see what an amazing bond they created. Look at this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: This is Avalanna.

JUSTIN BIEBER, SINGER: Say hi, Avalanna.

AVALANNA, JUSTIN BIEBER`S FAN: Hi.

BIEBER: Avalanna is, you know, means the world to me. She is one of my biggest fans. Do you want to come on stage with me? She has a very rare condition where she`s not going to make it much longer. So, it kind of hurts sometimes.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: She`s just precious. When Justin found out about Avalanna`s sad death, he immediately got on Twitter to share his feelings with the world. He tweeted, "Just got the worst news ever. One of the greatest spirits I have ever known is gone. Please pray for her family and for her." He followed that up with "R.I.P. Avalanna, I love you."

And Justin`s fans showed major support of their own. They tweeted their own heartfelt reaction to Avalanna`s passing. One fan tweeted, "The world lost a fighter but heaven lost an angel. We will all miss the beautiful Mrs. Bieber."

Another fan tweeted, "Please stay strong. Avalanna is in a better place now. I love you so much." And, A.J., you know, this little girl`s death has broken the hearts of just so many people.

HAMMER: Yes. No question about that, and I have to believe that she`s also bringing a lot more attention to this rare form of childhood cancer that she had.

TURNER: Yes.

HAMMER: And obviously Justin just put his heart out there for her for all the right reasons. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner.

Thanks, Nischelle.

Well, tonight, we move on to Jim Tan wedding bells. This engagement couldn`t have been further from the shore. You have got to hear the incredible high flying story behind Jwoww`s proposal.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Judging Gene Simmons` daughter. Yes, how would you like to be judging the daughter of a "Kiss" legend?

Well, that`s exactly what Simon, Brittany, L.A., and Demi had to do last night. Gene and Shannon tweed nervously looked on as their daughter Sophie sang Adele`s "make you feel my love" like many people have covered that song over the years. But did Sophie make the cut?

Plus gym, tan, wedding. A "Jersey Shore" star is getting hitched, and you will not believe the high-flying story behind this engagement.

All this is making big news in the buzz today.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Simmons` "X Factor." Talent runs in the family for "Kiss" singer Gene Simmons. The rocker`s daughter, Sophie Tweed-Simmons, auditioned on "X Factor" Wednesday night. Sophie revealed to the judges, she didn`t tell her famous dad she was auditioning because she didn`t want any help. While judge L.A. Reid gave her the kiss off, Simon Cowell, Brittany Spears and Demi Lovato all said yes.

Gym, tan, and engagement? "Jersey Shore`s" Jenni Farley was wowed when her longtime boyfriend, Roger Matthews, popped the big question. In a brand new interview with "In-touch Weekly," Jwoww revealed her boyfriend of 2 1/2 years, gave her the surprise of her life by asking her to marry him during a sky diving session.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: As we move on tonight inside one man`s double life. A pastor reveals to his wife that he`s a sex addict. So, what drove him to porn and prostitutes and did his wife forgive him? Dr. Drew talks to pastor Michael (INAUDIBLE) right now.
