A.J. HAMMER, HOST: Tonight, the SHOWBIZ Countdown. Bumbling Brad.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BRAD PITT, ACTOR: It`s not a journey. Every journey ends but we go on. The world turns.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: The countless spoofs spawned by Brad`s brooding Chanel ad. "SNL" got in on the act. Conan went there, too. But which spoof of Brad`s bizarre Chanel ad will be No. 1?

Thank you for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer.

We`ve got two big SHOWBIZ Countdowns tonight, including "Bumbling Brad." We`re counting down the top three absolutely hysterical brand-new spoofs that are out today of Brad Pitt`s bizarre commercial, the one he did for Chanel No. 5. From "Saturday Night Live" to Conan O`Brien to even former teen idol Leif Garrett. Which will be No. 1?

But we begin with our first SHOWBIZ Countdown of the night. The big three stories breaking today about celebrities that had us asking, are they "Heroes or Zeros."

And coming in at No. 3, it`s the breathtaking new video revealed today by "National Geographic" of the man who jumped from space. This will take your breath away. Watch this one.

I still can`t quite grasp if that`s real. I actually get anxiety when I sit here and watch that. Felix Baumgartner, falling a record 23 miles from space. And as you see, he`s wearing nothing but a jump suit. This is going to be seen in the "National Geographic" special coming up in November.

Well, this morning in an exclusive interview on "The Today Show," he spoke with Savannah Guthrie about how great or not so great this experience was for him.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SAVANNAH GUTHRIE, "THE TODAY SHOW": Did you enjoy it at all?

FELIX BAUMGARTNER, RECORD-BREAKING SKYDIVER: Honestly, no. It`s just work, you know. It`s just hard work. And later on, when my parachute opened, this was the first moment where I enjoyed it a lot, because I knew it`s over and I`m alive.

GUTHRIE: It`s a good view from there, too. So are you hanging up your parachute? Are you retired now?

BAUMGARTNER: Well, I`m officially retired from the daredevil business.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Officially retired from the daredevil business? And did he just say he didn`t enjoy it?

With me tonight from Hollywood, entertainment journalist Hyla. Also in Hollywood, Nikki Boyer. She`s the host of Yahoo! TV`s "Daytime In No Time."

And Nikki, I`ll start with you.

NIKKI BOYER, HOST, YAHOO! TV`S "DAYTIME IN NO TIME": OK.

HAMMER: How can you perform what is, by far, one of the coolest, most mind-boggling stunts ever and not enjoy it? Help me understand.

BOYER: I don`t know. You`re sitting literally on top of the world. And you`re like -- it`s like when you take your kids to 6 flags and you let them bring all of your friends. And the end of the way, you`re like, baby, how was it? What did you think? And your kid`s like, "Is that right?"

And you`re like, "What`s wrong with you?" It was a very interesting comment. It was like maybe enjoyable was the wrong word to use. Maybe enjoyable was...

HAMMER: So there`s a lot of pressure, literally and figuratively. But we did see some of the jump just after it happened. We were blown away when we saw that. But I have to say, seeing this new video, nothing quite compared to this. And National Geographic put it out today. And I actually feel like I need to watch it again, because it was so cool. Roll it.

BOYER: OK.

HAMMER: So I`m watching that, wondering, how can this guy, Felix, ever top that? And then, Hyla, we hear Felix say he`s hanging up his parachute. Did you believe him? Because I`m thinking back, and I can`t even tell how many times Evel Knievel used to say the same thing.

HYLA, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST: Listen, here`s the guy. You know, we all say, like, "How could he not enjoy that?" as we sit in our air-conditioned studios here. Or we`re forgetting that the gay trained for five years. So what? So he could go to the stratosphere and just for just a couple minutes and almost die? Yes, I can kind of understand why he didn`t say he found, you know, pleasure in doing that.

And guess what? He was on there saying, "I`m retiring from the daredevil business." Why go back into that? Just use that line every time you go out to a bar, you`re going to have an amazing rest of your life.

HAMMER: Keep your video on your iPhone. Say, "Hey, I`m that guy." That`s all he really needs, his calling card for life there.

BOYER: I just don`t know how he stops it. How do you top it? I say stop now.

HAMMER: I think he will stop now.

Felix got help, by the way, with that jump from his sponsor, Red Bull. The next person on our "Heroes or Zeros" SHOWBIZ Countdown is accused of getting help from something a little stronger.

In at No. 2, Lance Armstrong, who officially today was stripped today of his record-breaking seven Tour de France titles. That`s seven Tour de France titles. Poof, gone, disappeared, as if they`d never existed.

Lance`s punishment, of course, following that damning report accusing him on massive doping during his competitive cycling days. But Lance is still claiming his innocence, and he just greeted cyclists at a fund-raiser for his Livestrong charity, which he founded, of course, after surviving cancer. Here`s what he told them.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BRUNO MARS: Obviously, it`s been an interesting, and as I said the other night. At times, very difficult few weeks. People asked me a lot, "How you doing?" Well, I tell them -- I say I`ve been better, but I`ve also been worse.

HAMMER: And that`s a good point. And today you have a lot of who are truly torn about this, because on one hand, you have all the evidence that Lance was cheating all those years that we were looking up to him. On the other hand, you have all of the good that Lance has done with his Livestrong Foundation, Nikki. Is Lance a zero or a hero, in your mind?

BOYER: You know, I feel like I`m right on the fence. I feel very 50/50 about this. But I think it brings up a brighter issue, such as "What is going on. And all facts that are cycling, not just Lance Armstrong."

And I feel like -- I feel like he`s a little bit of a zero and a little bit of a hero. I feel sad about this.

HAMMER: Yes. It`s tough. And I`m pretty ticked off, because I was one of the people holding out how that all of this wasn`t true, and it was just a bunch of chatter.

But listen...

BOYER: So was I.

HAMMER: ... if you`re conflicted over Lance Armstrong, you may just be torn over our next zero, or hero. He`s either a concerned dad or a shameless publicity hound, or possibly both.

No. 1 on our SHOWBIZ Countdown of "Heroes or Zeros," we`re talking about Lindsay Lohan`s dad, Michael. He just tried to stage what he called an intervention, claiming that Lindsay was back to her old drinking ways and needed to go back to rehab.

Well, he gave a brand-new interview that was real today with "Entertainment Tonight." And he claims that he had the full backing of Lindsay`s team for this. Let`s watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MICHAEL LOHAN, LINDSAY`S FATHER: Lindsay`s team was waiting to come by the house and before we could do anything, she took off and went to another hotel. But everyone was on board, from Sean Chapman (ph), Holly, Evan Haney (ph), David Feldman. They were all standing waiting. I mean, even Larry Thompson, from -- the producer from "Liz & Nick," and you know, all these other people that love her, good people in her life. They were all ready to do this.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right, Hyla, you heard what Michael said there. Is Michael Lohan a hero or a zero?

HYLA: My God, this whole story is tragic on so many levels.

He can`t be branded either of those things, because he has his own issues that he has to deal with. The entire family needs a hero to come into, and it`s not going to be Michael Lohan. Unfortunately, whether you`re on board with his tactics and what he does or you`re not, no one`s going to give him any credibility. They need a separate outside party to come in and clean stuff up.

And it`s not Britney, who had her dad, which everyone felt was an extremely credible, came in and cleaned this up. That person does not exist in her life, and that is what`s so sad about this.

HAMMER: Yes, Hyla, the number of times you and I have sat here and spoken about all the problems and issues with both of Lindsay`s parents, quite frankly. I don`t recall ever having one conversation about Britney`s dad when it wasn`t positive and for her ultimate benefit.

HYLA: Exactly.

HAMMER: And I`m actually pretty confused about what actually occurred here or what is going on, because Lindsay`s rep tells a different story to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Let me read the statement that they gave us. "It`s apparent Michael continues to be very focused on getting publicity for himself. Lindsay`s team is in no way aligned with him or his actions."

Now, I do want to point out that Lindsay`s rep was not one of the people that Michael Lohan said backed his intervention, although he is part of her team. So I`m a little confused. We did reach out to all of them today. They didn`t get back to us as of show time. But Nikki, do you believe Lindsay`s dad hero or publicity seeking zero in your mind?

BOYER: I`m just going to have to go with zero. I feel like the clip that you just played where he was talking about what it was that he was doing for her, it felt there was a lot of ego involved in it. Like look what I did. He really did try. It didn`t look like a concerned father who is, like, grasping at straws here. And the fact that Lindsay`s siblings have come out against their father, essentially, saying that he is not a part of the family, he has done nothing but cause problems, I think that`s also a big sign of the big fat zero.

HAMMER: Yes. Well, look, again, if she does need help, I hope she gets it from the right people.

BOYER: Me, too.

HAMMER: Hyla, Nikki, thank you both so much.

We have another big SHOWBIZ Countdown tonight: "Bumbling Brad." Oh, Brad. Here`s how to say awkward!

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PITT: Plans disappear, dreams take over.

TARAN KILLAM, CAST MEMBER, NBC`S "SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE": And the dreams wake up and smile at reality. I`m sorry, is there really no script? Because I`ve been talking to myself for like two hours straight, and I`m starting to sound insane.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: The brooding Brad ad has spawned countless spoofs, from "SNL" to Conan, so many more. Parodies of Brad Pitt`s Chanel ad just keeping on coming, but which will be No. 1 on our "Brooding Brad" SHOWBIZ Countdown?

Plus, the horror. Which "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star did this to herself? It`s all for beauty, but is it Scary or Spectacular? To help answer that, I`ve got the star of the nation`s No. 1 movie, "Paranormal Activity 4," Katie Featherston. She`s right here. Who`s better to help us count down the top three stories today that made us ask, "Scary or Spectacular"?

This is SBT, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Well, "Argo" had another huge weekend at the box office. People are hitting the theaters in droves to check out Ben Affleck`s hottest thriller. It`s all about six American embassy workers that were smuggled out of Iran by the CIA.

Tonight for the very first time, five of the real American embassy workers that the movie was based on sat down together for a TV interview. And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is revealing this incredible reunion more than 30 years after they got out of Iran, while pretending to be a Canadian film crew. Here`s CNN`s Alina Cho with this SHOWBIZ exclusive.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What happened?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Six of the hostages went out a back exit.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Where are they?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The Canadian ambassador`s house.

ALINA CHO, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): In the movie "Argo," Ben Affleck plays Tony Mendez, a real-life CIA operative who hatches a plan to rescue six Americans who elude capture during the Iranian Revolution.

BEN AFFLECK, ACTOR/DIRECTOR: I`ve got an idea. They`re a Canadian film crew for a science-fiction movie. I fly to Tehran. We all fly out together as a film crew.

CHO: That fake science-fiction movie is called "Argo."

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: If I`m doing a fake movie, it`s going to be a fake hit.

CHO: These are the real embassy workers on which the film was based.

(on camera) What was your first thought when you saw it?

BOB ANDERS, RESCUED FROM IRAN: It was more exciting than the real things.

CHO (voice-over): Bob Anders, Lee Schatz, Mark and Cora Lijek, Kathleen Stafford. Five of the six, the first time they`ve all sat down together for a TV interview.

The only one who couldn`t be with us is Kathleen`s husband Joe, currently working for the State Department in the Sudan.

(on camera): These are the actors who played you. What do you think?

KATHLEEN STAFFORD, RESCUED FROM IRAN: Sure looks like Joe. They even got his little sweaters right. You know, he used to wear these little sleeveless sweater vests. That`s him.

CHO (voice-over): They took me back to the day, November 4, 1979, when Iranian students climbed the wall and stormed the U.S. embassy?

(on camera): What went through your mind?

LEE SCHATZ, RESCUED FROM IRAN: This will only last for a little while before the government will come and stop this. And I just tried to keep my staff kind of calm and collected.

STAFFORD: I remember calling my mother after about the first 24, 48 hours, and I said, "Don`t worry. You`re going to see some things on the news, but I`m safe and I`ll call you in a few days." And of course, I didn`t call back for three months.

CHO (voice-over): Seventy-nine days they hid from the Iranians in the homes of Canadian diplomats and came to be known as the houseguests.

STAFFORD: People would come to the house and go upstairs and hide. And at one point, there were revolutionary guards posted outside the door.

CHO: Then, on January 26, 1980...

SCHATZ: There`s a knock on the door. I open the door, and there`s two guys standing there in trench coats. And I said, "Really? Trench coats."

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You gotten people out this way before?

AFFLECK: No. But this is what I do.

CORA LIJEK, RESCUED FROM IRAN: Tony is a very charming guy, very convincing.

CHO (on camera): Did you trust him?

MARK LIJEK, RESCUED FROM IRAN: We didn`t have a whole lot of choice. I think. If we`d said, "No thanks. Send in another infiltration."

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Do you really believe your little sword is going to make a difference, when there`s a guns to our heads?

AFFLECK: I think my little sword is the only thing between you and a gun to your head.

CHO: Movie spoiler alert. It worked. And once they cleared Iranian airspace.

SCHATZ: We all ordered drinks. And I`m sure that the people on the plane, if they wondered, you know, wondered why there were these arms that went up as we made eye contact, because we were sitting in different places, but we knew why.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Really such an amazing story and a great movie. That was CNN`s Alina Cho for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Might have been quite a party on that plane, I`m thinking, when it was all done.

Moving on to Kardashian horrors? Kim Kardashian`s mom Instagrams her Halloween costume wardrobe malfunction. We`re asking, is the picture scary or is it spectacular? And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has the star of the nation`s No. 1 movie, "Paranormal Activity 4" right here. She is going to help us count down the top three stories that made us ask, "Scary or Spectacular"?

This is SBT, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ALANA THOMPSON, REALITY TV STAR: Dollar, dollar, make me holla.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Here comes Honey Boo-Boo. I can tell you, she`s even bigger than ever right now. Tonight, there are even brand-new reports swirling around that Honey Boo-Boo has just gotten an offer to train TNA wrestling star Robbie E. Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is your Honey Boo-Boo headquarters.

HLN`s Dr. Drew just interviewed Honey Boo-Boo. And you know that if Dr. Drew is doing an interview, you are going to find out something that you`ve never heard about before. The full interview with Honey Boo-Boo airs tomorrow night at 9 p.m. Eastern here on HLN on "DR. DREW ON CALL." There he is. Dr. Drew joining us tonight from Hollywood.

Always good to see you, my friend.

DREW PINSKY, HOST, "DR. DREW ON CALL": A.J. I`m just thinking the words I never thought I`d hear in sequence, Honey Boo-Boo headquarters. My goodness, here we are.

HAMMER: You are here tonight, and I know that Honey Boo-Boo got particularly comfortable with you. So comfortable, in fact, Dr. Drew, that she actually fell asleep. We have got to watch that together.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PINSKY: Let you ask you some questions, honey...

A. THOMPSON: Oh!

PINSKY: I know it`s -- everyone always wants to talk to you.

Is it -- is it difficult to be on TV? She`s sleeping. Is there something exciting you`d like to talk about?

JUNE THOMPSON, ALANA`S MOTHER: Alana, come on, let`s get this done so you can go.

Don`t hit.

PINSKY: That`s all right, she`s not hitting me.

PINSKY: Do you like being on TV?

J. THOMPSON: Like being on TV?

A. THOMPSON: No!

PINSKY: You don`t like it. How come?

A. THOMPSON: Because fans come up to me, and I hate it.

PINSKY: You hate that? OK.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Look, Drew, I know that Honey Boo-Boo was playing around. She`s just being a kid. She`s 7 years old.

PINSKY: Right.

HAMMER: But it also sounded like she was saying celebrity might be taking a toll on her. Are you concerned at all with all this acting out we`re seeing?

PINSKY: Absolutely. I mean, I get into that great detail with Mama June there, and who is actually a very concerned mom. She`s a lovely woman. I`ve been dealing with them for over a year, and I think people have -- largely have that family wrong. I mean, they`re a very community-minded family. The husband is a volunteer fireman. The other two, the siblings are really lovely kids.

And this "Toddlers & Tiaras" behavior you`re looking at here is something about Honey Boo-Boo that I wonder if she will live to regret one day. And I asked her mom in great detail about those sorts of things.

And mom is actually appropriately concerned about it. I mean, she is seeing this as the moment -- you know, her five minutes of fame, and she wants to capitalize on it in such a way that all the kids have a college fund and whatnot. So her thinking is sort of appropriate, but that still doesn`t mean that Honey Boo-Boo herself won`t be upset when she sees this footage when she`s 15.

HAMMER: Well, yes. That`s the thing that I`ve often wondered about, but I do also get the impression that she has -- Mama June has Honey Boo-Boo`s best interests at heart.

PINSKY: Yes, yes. Absolutely.

HAMMER: So it sounds like it`s going to be a fascinating time tomorrow night, Drew. Really can`t wait.

PINSKY: She really is fine. But she`s a lot of fun and, boy, that kid has got energy, I`ll tell you. Even when she`s sleeping, she`s got energy. Didn`t she get that sleep apnea maneuver down well, I think? That kind of concerned me.

HAMMER: She did, but I was pleased to say she didn`t actually hit you. She was just waving her arms in the air.

Dr. Drew, got to end it there. Thank you so much. Always good to have you here.

PINSKY: Thanks, A.J. Appreciate it.

HAMMER: Make sure you watch Dr. Drew`s full interview with Honey Boo-Boo. It`s tomorrow night on "DR. DREW ON CALL," 9 p.m. Eastern right here on HLN.

And I hope you`re ready, because we are moving on to another amazing SHOWBIZ Countdown tonight. It`s "Bumbling Brad."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PITT: It`s not a journey. Every journey ends, but we go on.

It`s not a journey. Every journey ends, but we go on.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: It is the bizarre Brad Pit Chanel ad, and it`s launched thousands of spoofs. Brooding Brad is turning out to be comedy gold. Well, tonight, we are counting down the top three parodies of Brad`s awkward ad. From "SNL," to Conan, so many more. The big question: with all of these poofs and parodies out there, which will be No. 1?

This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PITT: Plans disappear, dreams take over.

KILLAM: And the dreams wake up and smile at reality. I`m sorry, is there really no script? Because I`ve been talking to myself for, like, two hours straight, and I`m starting to sound insane.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Right now, on the SHOWBIZ Countdown, "Bumbling Brad," the butt of jokes, the brand-new, must-see, hysterical spoofs of Brad Pitt`s awkward Chanel ad. Well, tonight we are counting down the top three, from "SNL" to "Conan" and more. But which will be No. 1?

Housewife horror. Is "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kyle Richards really electrifying her face to look more beautiful? Is this scary of spectacular? Well, we will ask someone who know all about being scared out of her mind, Katie Featherston, star of the nation`s number one movie, "Paranormal Activity 4" right here.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT continues right now.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thanks for watching.

Tonight, the SHOWBIZ Countdown: "Bumbling Brad"? You know, ever since we first saw Brad Pitt`s smoldering commercial for Chanel No. 5, well, as his luck, his fate and his fortune would all have it, there`s been a ton of spoofs and parodies coming out of the woodwork. And tonight, we are counting down the top three new bumbling Brad contenders. But first, the original.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PITT: Now the journey. Every journey ends, but we go on. The world turns and we turn with it. Plans disappear, dreams take over. But wherever I go, there you are. My luck, my fate, my fortune, Chanel No. 5.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I`m still too confused when I see that. You would think Brad could actually pull off this serious seductivism (ph), the sense. But I got proof today that you people actually think he did.

Tonight, we are counting down the top three brand new spoof of poor Brad in the SHOWBIZ Countdown, "Bumbling Brad". Let`s get to it.

Kicking off with number three, boy, I couldn`t wait for "Saturday Night Live" to get a hold of this and have their first crack on Saturday night over the weekend. The show did not disappoint with not one, not two, but four spoofs. Check this out.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KILLAM: It`s not a journey. Every journey ends, but we go on. The world turns and we turn with it. Plans disappear and dreams take over and the dreams wake up and smile at reality. I`m sorry, is there really no script? Because I`ve been talking to myself for like two hours straight and I`m starting to sound insane. You want me to sound less coherent, really?

(LAUGHTER)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`ve been running all day. Sometimes it feels like you have been running your entire life, through best hot, sandy dessert, lots and lots dry hot sand. And finally you cross it, the border. You`re at the (INAUDIBLE). Dorito`s stock loco.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: With just two of the four spoofs "SNL" did. They also have Brad selling dog, condoms, and dermatologist services.

I want to bring in Nikki Boyer. Hey, laughing Nikki. She`s the host of "Daytime In No Time" on Yahoo! TV. And there he is, comedian, actor, Kevin Brown. He plays of course dot-com on NBC`s 30 rock.

Kevin, to you first, "SNL" nailed it didn`t they?

KEVIN BROWN, COMEDIAN/ACTOR: They mailed it, they killed it. He didn`t mention how sexy he was, I don`t think.

HAMMER: He is so sexy. I know that women all over the planet just satisfying themselves in that little commercial right here. Hey, hey, so sexy, make you want to talk like this.

And we know Brad was paid this reported seven million bucks to do the Chanel commercial.

Nikki, you think Bard is in anyway regretting this given all that has happened? Or is he laughing all the way to the bank and does this just prove my theory that this was actually channel`s master plan all along?

BOYER: I think your theory is correct. I think it is the master plan. I think it`s very, very smart. So it think he went from being, you know, the hero, maybe to a zero for a second and then kind of back to being a hero because if you made that much money, and we are all talking about, I think at the end of day, he has got a pretty good sense of humor about he has received in the public eye.

HAMMER: Yes.

BOYER: And also, let`s takeoff all the goodies probably going to do with some of this money. He is going to like build house to some say, babies. That`s what he does.

HAMMER: Yes. And I know (INAUDIBLE) can`t figure out why he went to the store and bought a case of Chanel No. 5 the other day - it just was something that happened.

And look, as good as the "SNL" spoofs were; I`m here to tell you they did not beat out our number two "Bumbling Brad" spoof on the SHOWBIZ Countdown. Got to give this one to Conan O`Brien on "The Conan Show" on TBS.

Let`s just say that Conan apparently saw something in this ad that the rest of us somehow missed: a shirtless Brad Pitt. May we see this?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It`s not a journey. Every journey ends, but we go on. The world turns in place. Plans disappear, dreams take over. Wherever I go, there you are. My fate. My fortune. Chanel No. 5.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. I really don`t understand how we possibly miss that.

Kevin, you want sexy. I`m thinking, this is the ad that Brad should have released.

BROWN: That is funny. Brad hates that one right there. Brad official ate that one there. He loves the other one, but he hates this.

HAMMER: Well, that just like Brad who is saying, I`m in much better shape than that.

BROWN: Oh, yes. Probably.

HAMMER: Well, look. As good as Conan was, I have to tell you that the number one in our SHOWBIZ Countdown comes from someone I never wouldn`t guess. Number one "Bumbling Brad" spoof tonight comes from former teen idol Leif Garrett. He is waxing poetic about anything but perfume and instant classic to be sure. Let`s watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LEIF GARRETT, FORMER TEEN IDOL: World turns and we turn with it, unless you are walking in the opposite direction, the exact same speed which is super hard. Plans disappear, dreams take over, you wear that jean or you`re naked in school, and there is a text you didn`t study for, really? I haven`t. It`s really weird. You are a weirdo. Wherever I go, there I am, lucky me. My luck, my fate, my fortune. Chanel No. 5.

The most important thing mankind has ever done. You can tell because of the lightning.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Leif Garrett is back, baby! All right, Nikki.

BOYER: My God!

HAMMER: There you have it!

BOYER: My face so hurt laughing.

HAMMER: Well, good. Well, that may be proof that you agree with our choice for number one. For me, I couldn`t go anywhere but Leif Garrett for our top pick tonight.

BOYER: I agree. I think, he has such a great sense of humor. He has come from a long road of misses. And I think this is an epic win for him. So, Leif Garrett.

(LAUGHTER)

HAMMER: All right. What about you, Kevin? Are you with us on our number pick?

BROWN: That shows how powerful Brad Pitt is. He made Leif Garrett relevant in 2012. We were laughing over here for this guy. He is at `70s. He hit the classic within the `70s. That looked like an anti-drug commercial. That`s what it really looked like.

HAMMER: Yes. I guess that was a couple of reality shows we haven`t seen a whole lot of late now.

Nikki, I want you to watch very closely what we are about to give you, something very big is going to happen.

BOYER: OK.

HAMMER: Kevin, I just want to take advantage of the fact that we have this big star with us from "30 Rock" tonight, because the only possible way we may have gotten our number one wrong, oh - and look, I see you in black and white all of a sudden. Where is this going? And the lighting is spectacular. I`m thinking, only you could possibly do this better. You are a trained acting professional. So please, give us your best Brad.

BROWN: It`s not a journey. Every journey ends, but we go on. The world turns and we turn with it. Plans disappear, dreams take over, but wherever I go, there you are. My luck, my fate, my fortune. Chanel No. 5.

(LAUGHTER)

HAMMER: I don`t know if I can laugh or cry. That was beautiful. And just actually saying a little bit of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, black and white and you are getting the slow clap from Nikki.

Nikki, I mean, that`s our new number one.

BOYER: That was amazing. That was amazing. I just love that you match the backdrop perfectly.

BROWN: Absolutely.

BOYER: Way to go. Way to go SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

BROWN: We look like twin, don`t we, me and Brad? We look like twins?

BOYER: Yes.

HAMMER: Will pulled that off. Thank you for not doing that shirtless, though, Kevin Brown. I appreciate you being here. Good to have you.

Nikki Boyer, Wow. That was a lot of fun, time to go.

HAMMER: As we move on, is a "Real Housewife" really electrifying her face in the name of beauty? Who does this? Beverly Hills` housewife Kyle Richards just tweeted this picture of herself. And I don`t understand it at all. It has us asking is it scary or is it spectacular? The star of the number one scary movie in the country tells us, Katie Featherston from "Paranormal Activity 4." She is right here.

And from scary to sweet, I love this story tonight. An extraordinary caught on tape, puppy rescue, you just have to say so, what happens after she slips off her leash and ends up at sea. You will found out.

This is SBT, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Something scary and spectacular is going on here. "Paranormal Activity 4," the newest installment of the supernatural horror franchise, "possessed" the top spot at the box office over the weekend. And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has the star of the movie Kate Featherston right here to help us countdown the top three stories today that made us ask scary or spectacular?

Katie, it is a pleasure to have you here on the show. Congratulations, by the way, on your movie topping the box office over the weekend. How great is that?

KATE FEATHERSTON, STAR, "PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4": Thank you so much. I`m so happy to be here. We are very, very excited. I`m glad people are excited about the movie.

HAMMER: Well, we are so excited you are here to help us count them down. Let`s get right to it.

At number three on the SHOWBIZ Countdown of stories today that made us ask, "Scary or Spectacular?", Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, look at this. Kim`s mom just posted a picture of herself in her Instagram account. She`s dressed her Halloween costume. That`s fine. Dressed as the iconic Wonder Woman -- one key difference, something I never saw Wonder Woman do. She`s not completely covered up there, she had a nip slip. There she is smiling.

But here`s my question. Who shot the picture? Was it Cramer? Did they not notice this wardrobe malfunction?

Katie, to you, scary or spectacular?

FEATHERSTON: You know, I think it spectacular that they miss that nip slip because that probably should have been caught before it went online for all of us to enjoy ourselves. So, I`m going to have to spectacularly scary.

HAMMER: OK. That`s perfect. Although there is a small piece of me that thinks, well, knowing the Kardashian and the fact that we are talking about this, maybe, maybe it was intentional. But from one scary and spectacular further over a reality star to another reality star showing off her new look. This is number two on our "Scary or Spectacular?" SHOWBIZ Countdown.

Look at this. It is just - this is serious. This is for real. This is "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kyle Richards. She just tweeted this picture of herself. She was undergoing something at the time called an electrical facial.

Now, Katie, I`m looking at this whether mask thinking it looks like something out of a horror movie considering you now star in the biggest one in the planet right now. Would you even ever wear that thing? That`s frightening.

FEATHERSTON: Listen. Surprisingly enough, that was one of our go-to Halloween costumes for the movie. They were like should Katie be normal Katie in the movie? Should she has some kind of leather mask? And we decided against it. So, that picture is scary.

HAMMER: Super scary. All right.

And speaking of scary, get a load of this.

HAMMER: Coming in at number one at the box office and number one on our SHOWBIZ Countdown of the top three stories that made us ask, "Scary or Spectacular?" -- "Paranormal Activity 4." Katie, congrats. Not only on top of the box office this weekend, but our countdown as well.

I need you to set the record straight for us, though. Reports already out there today that "Paranormal 5" is already in the works. Tell me something about that.

FEATHERSTON: You know what? I have not heard it from the powers that be, but I have read it on the Internet. And as I said before, if it is on the Internet; that must mean it is true. So I don`t know. We will have to find out.

HAMMER: That is not info -- usual information.

And Katie, congratulations again. Great to have you here. Make sure you catch Katie in "Paranormal Activity 4". It is in theaters everywhere.

HAMMER: Check out wonderful Will. It`s pretty great, right? Did you see this? Willow Smith singing Adele`s "Sky Fall", the theme for the new James Bond movie. I think Willow`s version is perfect and she`s so amazing at just 11 years old. Can`t wait to see what the future holds for Willow Smith. Supreme intelligent little girl.

Right now, a whale of a tail about a dog. There are all sorts of sea creatures you could encounter on a day out on the water off the coast of England, right? You got your fish, your turtles, maybe you`ll even see the Loch Ness monster? It could happen. But a tiny dog out alone in the open, that`s nuts. That`s exactly where the dog ends after its owner said it slipped its leash.

The story you got to see to believe. And I will tell you, it is going to tug at your heart.

Here`s CNN`s Jeanne Moos.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

JEANNE MOOS, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): It was a doggy rescue at sea. Charlie Head was on his paddle board off the coast of England, making a 600 mile trip. Next year, he is planning a 3,000 mile paddle across the Atlantic. The water sports instructor had been followed by a playful seal, chased by stormy weather.

CHARLIE HEAD, WATER SPORTS INSTRUCTOR (voice-over): And then "ooh, raaah."

MOOS: But the real "ahh" moment was when Charlie spotted a little dog stranded on rocks as the tide came in.

HEAD: And he just sat there like a little dude, wondering what the heck to do.

MOOS: The Shih Tzu, later identified as Bam-Bam, was marooned at the tip of a rock jetty, submerged by high tide. How surprised were you to see a dog there?

HEAD: Just a remarkable, ridiculous place.

MOOS: Though the dog was panicking, Charlie managed to lift her into his paddle boat.

HEAD: It is OK, it is OK.

MOOS: His iPhone camera in a waterproof case was strapped to his neck between the tide and high winds.

HEAD: At least we had about ten minutes until he would have been a goner.

It is OK, it is OK.

MOOS: Charlie paddled to shore and brought the dog to the nearest pub at the Hampton inn, and an embedded chip animal rescue folks identified the dog. The rocks on which the dog was stuck were part of a manmade sea wall, called a groin, and the pooch ended up going from one groin to another.

HEAD: Oh, that`s it, boy. What are you doing out here? All right, let`s get you in. I realized that I had to help him (INAUDIBLE) between my legs in a nice way and off he went.

MOOS: When the Shih Tzu hit the fan, Charlie Head was in the right spot.

HEAD: Oh, matey, what are you doing out here?

HAMMER: That was pretty amazing. That was CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I am happy to tell you Bam-Bam, whose real name is Molly, is now back at home with her family.

Adele announced on her Web site in June that she and Simon were expecting their first child together saying, "Obviously, we are over the moon and very excited, but please respect our privacy at this precious time."

Honoring George. George Clooney was honored at the Carousel of Hope Ball Saturday and SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there. The celebrity event was chaired by philanthropist Barbara Davis and raised millions of dollars for diabetes treatment and research. Shirley MacLaine presented George with his brass ring award and the "Oceans 11" actor opened us to us about being named this year`s honoree.

GEORGE CLOONEY, ACTOR: It is less about an evening for anybody individually. It`s really nice to be able to come out and support Barbara and all the good work she is doing. She is doing some the amazing work with diabetes. So it is fun to do that.

HAMMER: Valerie`s food addiction. Valerie Bertinelli just opened up about her lifelong struggle with weight. In the brand new episode of "The Dr. Oz Show", the "Hot in Cleveland" star talked frankly about her past drug use and addiction to food. Bertinelli told Dr. Oz that although she could kick her drug habit fairly easily, her food habit was another story.

"I was never really addicted to drugs. That is why it was so easy from me to stop. But food is a whole other thing. And I used food as coach and I abuse food in a way that I shouldn`t have. And it made me afraid of food for awhile, too. But now I embrace it."
