A.J. HAMMER, HLN HOST: Tonight on the SHOWBIZ Countdown, reality scandal. Is the hit A&E show "Storage Wars" completely rigged? Shocking new claims tonight. Plus, Anne Hathaway`s miserable wardrobe malfunction. But what`s the biggest buzz maker tonight?

Hello, I`m A.J. Hammer. Thanks for tuning in.

First tonight, the top five "Winners of the Year." There is no question that Hollywood pushed the envelope in 2012. I would even go as far as saying that the stars outdid themselves over this past year. And tonight we are giving it up for celebrities who came out on top.

Want to kick things off with the No. 5 on our countdown. The top five winners, it`s "Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ALANA THOMPSON, REALITY TV STAR: You better redneck-ognize.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Ah, yes, a winning catch phrase, to be sure: "You better redneck- ognize.

Honey Boo-Boo, a.k.a. 7-year-old Alana Thompson, was arguably one of the biggest stars on TV this year. The TLC reality show "Here Comes Honey Boo- Boo" was the hit of the summer. It was so popular it actually even rivaled the Republican and Democratic National Conventions in the ratings.

Entertainment reporter Zain Meghji joins me now in New York.

Zain, how amazing is it that this 7-year-old Georgia girl could come literally out of nowhere and dominate TV like Honey Boo-Boo did in 2012?

ZAIN MEGHJI, ENTERTAINMENT REPORTER: It is the land of opportunity, A.J.

But this is the thing. I don`t know if she`s the right role model because, yes, it`s awesome that she got plucked from obscurity from being on a previous reality show, and people are like, "Hey, I like her. Let`s give her a chance." Because her previous interviews went viral. And someone said, "Let`s give her a show." And she got the show.

But now are people in America going to go, "I can be like that. I am going to do that"? I don`t think we`re setting a good example with this.

HAMMER: Well, if you look at her diet, I`d agree with you. If you look at how much heart she has and how much love she has for her family and how, quite frankly, progressive she actually is for her age, I think that is something to look to.

But Honey Boo-Boo certainly did reach the peak of pop culture relevancy this year, because she and her mom were spoofed on "Saturday Night Live." Let`s watch that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BOBBY MOYNIHAN, CAST MEMBER, NBC`S "SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE": I`m mostly concentrating on supporting my own head.

VANESSA BAYER, CAST MEMBER, NBC`S "SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE": Oh, Mama, don`t say that. You`ve got a peanut self (ph) oh the boo-boo.

GRAPHIC: Oh, Mama, don`t say that about yourself. You`re a beautiful woman inside and out.

MOYNIHAN: (MUMBLING)

GRAPHIC: Thank you very much, Alana. I both accept and appreciate that.

SETH MEYERS, CAST MEMBER, NBC`S "SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE": That`s right. Even though you both speak English, your show is mostly subtitled.

MOYNIHAN: (MUMBLING)

BAYER: (MUMBLING)

GRAPHIC: Correct.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Let me go out to CelebTV.com`s Kelli Zink, is in Chicago. So OK, Kelli. Honey Boo-Boo`s show comes back in 2013. We`ve got to wait a little while, I`m sorry to tell you. But do you think she could get even more popular? Or do you think this was a 2012 deal and maybe the craze has played out?

KELLI ZINK, CELEBTV.COM: You know what? I think she`s the next Kardashian. And unfortunately, I think this is going to go into series and sequels and maybe her mom will have her own couponing dynasty. Who knows?

The only plus is, if this girl makes enough money to put away enough for college, then I`m happy.

HAMMER: OK, yes. Let`s please hope that somebody is looking after all the dough.

Another reality show queen is our No. 4 winner of the year, at least one- half of it, and Kelli just mentioned her. Coming in at No. 4, Kimye, the couple we know well as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

Now, since these two came out as a couple officially in April after a lot of speculation, you know, they`ve been inseparable, as you see in these pictures, both in real life and on the gossip pages, Zain. Are they winners simply for, in my mind, lasting more than the 72 days Kim`s marriage to Kris Humphries lasted? I think so.

MEGHJI: Yes, I think so, as well. And what I really like about this is that Kanye got clear on what he wanted. He rapped about it, and he said, "I want -- I want me some Kim Kardashian."

And he held back. He waited till the marriage collapsed, dissolved. Maybe it was his fault, but he is a winner.

And when they go out, she doesn`t want to eclipse him. You know, she`s used to being the center of attention, but she stands by and she lets him do his thing at the awards shows. And everyone`s like, oh, she`s being so demure. No, she`s being respectful. Maybe they have found a match in star quality and star power, and maybe this will actually last.

HAMMER: Yes, because, of course, when they were first being spotted together all the time, there was all the negativity, all the naysayers saying, "Oh, it`s just for publicity. This isn`t for real."

But even Kim discussed Kanye with Oprah Winfrey for Oprah`s "Next Chapter" on OWN. And if you watch you can really tell, I think, Kim seems genuinely smitten by Kanye.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KIM KARDASHIAN, REALITY TV STAR: It`s very comforting to have someone that knows everything about you, that respects you, understands, has gone through the similar things. There`s so many similarities in our life that I feel like I`m at a really happy good space.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: It sure looks like Kimye is for real. Kelli, I`m thinking there`s even a better than even chance that they end also 2013 as a couple. What do you think?

ZINK: Well, A.J., I went on this very show here and said I thought it was all for P.R., so they duped me maybe.

But really, what do they do together? He dresses her, and they eat ice cream cones everywhere they can all over the world. I`m not sure if that`s the one thing they have in common, what`s really going on, but I cannot wait to see how this thing progresses in 2013.

HAMMER: Well, this next 2012 winner basically took over the world. No. 3 in our countdown of the top five winners, Korean rapper Psy.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

(MUSIC: "Gangnam Style")

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes, that "Gangnam Style" inescapable this year. What a huge smash this was. So huge, as we all now know. It became the most watched clip on YouTube ever. Got close to a billion views here, Zain. What do you think? Psy, can he continue the momentum that`s pretty tough to top? Is he a one-hit wonder or will we be hearing from him again in 2013?

MEGHJI (singing): Hey, sexy lady.

(speaking): That`s what I love about this. That`s the only lyric in his entire song that I can understand. And that`s what was so cool with his performance at the American Music Awards. Center stage singing Korean like no one -- well, maybe -- I can`t say no one. The majority didn`t understand what he was saying, but they were with it.

I remember when this video came out and I was watching it, thinking this has everything that is great about a music video ever from the `90s all together in one thing. I love this.

I don`t think he can replicate this on the scale that he has done now. I think that this is a massive achievement and great on him. But that`s a big, big feet to fill to be the No. 1 YouTube video.

HAMMER: Yes. I actually think there are scientists in labs right now trying to figure out how this lightning in a bottle happened because, yes, it`s a catchy tune. Yes, it`s a catchy video, and the dance is kind of fun, and it`s fun to watch other people doing this dance.

But a lot of people are also scratching their head saying, "Well, how the heck did that happen? A billion views? Really?"

And then at the end of the year, there was a little controversy for Psy over an anti-American performance that he did a bunch of years back. It`s something that he apologized for, but at the same time it was not the right way to sort of wind down his year of big success, Kelli. Do you think maybe he ruined his chances for continuing his American stardom in 2013?

ZINK: M.C. Hammer, Vanilla Ice, Keyboard Cat, OK? These are all one-hit wonders who are still making money off of their one hit. So even if this is it for him, he`s going to go out with a bang and a huge paycheck.

HAMMER: OK. As a musicologist, I must say, and I`m loathe to correct anybody, Ice and M.C. Hammer actually had a couple of hits. It wasn`t just one for them. I could happily dance for you right now...

ZINK: True.

HAMMER: ... in my hammer pants. I`m not wearing them, though.

What do you think about that, Zain? The idea that, you know, so Psy has this big year, but then it`s revealed that he made some anti-American remarks and did some rather anti-American things. This is way back in the early 2000s.

Do you think Americans will begrudge him? Or will they accept his apology and allow him to again steal our hearts, as he did, "Gangnam Style," moving forward?

MEGHJI: Ten years ago -- yes, ten years ago, we weren`t a big fan of him, and now we are and so now he`s allowed to change his opinion. Because how many have been following his music career for that long? They haven`t. And people change, and I`m sure that when people are giving you a lot of money, you`re more willing to change.

HAMMER: Yes, you are. Especially when you have a big reputation to protect here, as he does.

So which star is going to top our list of our biggest winners of 2012? Could it be Nicki Minaj for making some big waves on "American Idol," even before she hits the air as an "American Idol" judge, that thanks to her feud with Mariah Carey.

Maybe it`s going to be Taylor Swift. She has her record sales, her famous boyfriends and, of course, her general march toward world domination.

But who will be SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s winner of the year? We`ve got that big reveal coming up.

Also coming up, another big SHOWBIZ Countdown tonight. I can`t wait to do this one for you. A "Real Housewives" fake-out. Could it be?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KENYA MOORE, REALITY TV STAR: I love to go on double dates. I`m a fabulous couple and tonight we get to have Kenya`s mystery.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: What is going on here? Did "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kenya Moore really fake a relationship for the show?

Plus, Denise Richards caught in the middle of a new Charlie Sheen drama? Why is she taking care of Charlie`s kids, the ones that he had with Brooke Mueller? And which of these stories is going to top our SHOWBIZ Countdown of "SHOWBIZ Buzz Makers" tonight?

This is SBT, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back. We are counting down the top five "Winners of 2012." We`re down to the top two "Winners of the Year." Let`s roll back who we have so far.

No. 5, ah, yes, Honey Boo-Boo, who really took over the reality show world this year.

No. 4, Kimye, a.k.a. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Really, they were just everywhere this year with their odd and yet strangely solid relationship.

At No. 3, Korean rapper Psy, who smashed records with his YouTube smash "Gangnam Style."

Well, now we continue our countdown of the year`s biggest winners.

Here at No. 2, we have Nicki Minaj. Now, stay with us on this one. Nicki made headlines by being named one of the new judges on "American Idol" but also by promptly getting into a bitter feud with her fellow new judge, Mariah Carey. Nicki was actually even accused of saying she wanted to shoot Mariah. Now, Nicki denied that.

Let me go out to entertainment reporter Zain Meghji, who`s here in New York. Do you think, Zain, that Nicki`s feud with Mariah mostly turned people off? Or are you like me and think maybe it made her more popular than ever and a winner this past year?

MEGHJI: Are you kidding me? "American Idol" has been on for, what, like this is the tenth [SIC] season coming up. And I loved it in the beginning. I loved Kelly Clarkson. Over the years I kind of got tired about it.

I am excited to see this, and I want to see them get at it. I want to see the eye rolling. I want to see -- I want to see Mariah pull off one of those colored wigs and see what Nicki Minaj looks like underneath. I`m excited about this. And even the producers on FOX are now putting on ads, you know, hyping the rivalry between the two, so they`re in it. We`re in it. I can`t wait for it.

HAMMER: Yes. The show is about to fire up. And it seemed to be exactly what they needed to get some attention. CelebTV.com`s Kelli Zink`s in Chicago. Kelli, Nicki Minaj debuts on "American Idol," like I said, in just a short time from now. Do you think that she`s going to be a hit or a flop as a judge?

ZINK: Well, I think she already won our affection as an actress, because clearly, we know that these feuds are fake. So the fact that Nicki Minaj can pull it off and to that extent, she`s willing to go there to say, "I`m going to shoot Mariah Carey," who is basically America`s sweetheart. I mean, that is some major, major cojones on her part.

HAMMER: If she actually said it. Something that she does deny...

ZINK: Allegedly.

HAMMER: Yes, and, look, I`m with you that maybe it`s not all real and they`re playing it up a little bit, but I don`t know if the whole feud is really a completely fabricated situation.

But look, we`re now down to No. 1 on our SHOWBIZ Countdown. We`re waiting for it. The biggest winner of the year is Taylor Swift. Did we really have any other choice? I mean, she was everywhere with more talk about her famous romances.

And, of course, she still sells a lot of music. Her latest CD, "Red," sold more than a million albums in its first week of release making her the only woman in history who`s done that twice.

Zain, are you with me that we had no choice but naming Taylor Swift the No. 1 winner of 2012?

MEGHJI: I am not with you, A.J.

HAMMER: What?

MEGHJI: The song is catchy, and I -- you know, I never bought any Taylor Swift music, but when that song comes up, I will sing along. I`m not going to sing along to it right now but, yes, any time she breaks up with somebody, it is a hit song. I don`t even know why the guy from One Direction, Harry Stiles, is dating her right now because, dude, you are a platinum single waiting to happen.

HAMMER: Well, yes, let`s talk about that for a moment here. Despite her amazing winning streak, she did get a bit of grief this past year for writing yet more songs about her reported ex-boyfriends.

So, Kelli, what do you think? Moving forward for Taylor, does she need to shake it up to continue her world dominance in 2013? Maybe it`ll be time for her to put the whole musical boyfriend bashing thing to rest.

ZINK: I hope so, A.J., because she`s not giving a good example for young women like myself, who feel like it`s OK to just make any kind of Facebook status or tweets about men.

No, you should keep that private, Taylor, and maybe edge it up a bit in the new year and I`ll be a fan of her. Right now she`s just too innocent and squeaky clean and sugary. I want some grit.

HAMMER: All right. Well, I still think she`s a winner this year. But Zain, if she stops with the boyfriend bashing and the music, will she possibly, at least, be a winner in your mind in the new year?

MEGHJI: I`m with Kelli. I want some grit and I want to see her, like change her image. Get down and dirty, Taylor Swift. Show me what you got.

HAMMER: Yes, I don`t quite see her pulling off the Hannah Montana, you know, Miley Cyrus kind of alteration with her life.

MEGHJI: Yes.

HAMMER: Don`t see that happening. But alas, she is our No. 1 winner of the year 2012. It was great fun counting it down with you guys. Zain Meghji, Kelli Zink, I thank you both so much.

Coming up, it`s another blockbuster SHOWBIZ Countdown. One miserable malfunction. That wasn`t too bad. "Les Mis" star Anne Hathaway premieres her new film, and unfortunately, she reveals another side of herself. You might say that Anne pulled a Britney or a Paris or Lindsay. You`ve got to see Anne`s very first reaction to the photos of her big wardrobe malfunction.

Also, hungry for Jennifer Lawrence. Tonight, I am delivering to you brand- new evidence that men around the world can`t get enough of the "Hunger Games" star, but which of these ladies will top our SHOWBIZ Countdown of "Buzz Makers" tonight?

This is SBT, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JAY-Z, RAPPER: I performed eight shows already. This is the last show.

ELLEN GROSSMAN, ARTIST: And you`re going by subway?

JAY-Z: Yes.

GROSSMAN: I`m proud of you.

JAY-Z: Yes.

GROSSMAN: Say your name again, just so I get it?

JAY-Z: Jay-Z.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That`s right, lady. You just sat down next to Jay-Z on the subway. Jay`s so cool. Here he is. One of the famous rappers in the world, and he takes the New York City subway. Just like everyone else for at least for one night. I`m proud of him, too.

Jay-Z and his wife, Beyonce, they have certainly had a phenomenal year. They kicked off a very big year with very big news when they became parents to their new baby girl, Blue Ivy. You`d think that would be enough for one year, right? Well, think again.

Beyonce directed and starred in an HBO documentary about herself. She also signed a reported $50 million deal with Pepsi, and by the way, both Beyonce and Jay-Z helped their close friend, Barack Obama, get reelected. Just a couple of reasons why Beyonce and Jay-Z are SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s couple of the year.

Joining me right now from Chicago is Kelli Zink. She`s the host of CelebTV.com. In New York, Zain Meghji is an entertainment reporter.

So guys, just when you think Beyonce and Jay-Z would slow down after becoming parents, I`m here to tell you they are hotter than ever.

Kelli, we named them SHOWBIZ couple of the year. In your mind did we get it right?

ZINK: You nailed it. You know, everyone wants to be adopted by Brad and Angelina. Forget it. I want to be adopted by Jay-Z and Beyonce. I think they`re so motivating. They`re so -- they have everything that you want to be. Talented. Now they`re great parents, I mean, they really are the full package, and I love them.

HAMMER: Doesn`t hurt that they`re too handsome individuals, as well. I mean, come on. Look at them. Just shining right there.

Well, the other thing is -- and this can`t be credited to everybody. Jay-Z and Bey, as I mentioned, helped get President Obama re-elected. The two of them raised something like 4 million bucks for the president this past year.

And if you remember, Beyonce wrote these letters to both Michelle Obama and to the president. She decided to make them public. I thought that was pretty spectacular.

So, Zain, I`m thinking if they can have that much influence to raise all that money, perhaps influence some votes, that pretty much is the ultimate definition of a power couple, don`t you think?

MEGHJI: For sure. You know when Kelli said she wants to be adopted by them, I think you know what? What`s good enough is to have an endorsement by them.

Right now, Pepsi knows what Beyonce can do so, of course, they want to partner with her and put out whatever she says she`s going to do. It`s not just music, it`s creativity, it`s art. Whatever Beyonce wants to create, they`re behind it. They`re going to sell it.

And Jay-Z, he`s always looking for new artist. He`s putting out his own music. But right now, James Arthur from England, he`s like, "I`m going to get behind that guy`s rap career." Of course, he got behind Rihanna in the beginning. You have Jay-Z and Beyonce on your side. You have their endorsement. Hey, you get to run a country.

HAMMER: And don`t forget, by the way, that Jay owns a stake in the Brooklyn Nets. The deal that you mentioned with Beyonce, you know, some 50 million bucks something around there, also is going to be putting her face on Pepsi cans around the world. She`s going to be performing at the Super Bowl in February. They`re new parents all at the same time.

So, Kelli, to your point, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, no longer Hollywood`s top "it" couple. Is it Beyonce and Jay-Z?

ZINK: I think -- I think that Beyonce and Jay-Z are so much more relatable. You know, the new Tumblr that she put out, she shows herself without makeup on. And Jay-Z rides the subway. You know, I just feel like I know them -- kind of creepy, right? But Brad and Angelina are very untouchable.

HAMMER: Aha. Accessible. Accessibility, that is what`s going to rank them high. Perfect. All right. So thank you for joining in with us. Kelli Zink, Zain Meghji, I appreciate you being here.

Coming up, we have another shocking SHOWBIZ Countdown. It`s the day`s top five "SHOWBIZ Buzz Makers." And here`s the question. Is the hit A&E reality show "Storage Wars" actually a bunch of rubbish? Storage lockers with planted goods, rigged auctions, could it be?

Also, Denise Richards caught up in some Charlie Sheen drama once again. Why the heck is she taking care of his kids that he had with Brooke Mueller? Could they have found another baby-sitter?

Which of these stories is going to top our SHOWBIZ Countdown of the day`s top five buzz makers?

This is SBT, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MOORE: I love to go on double dates. Fabulous couple and tonight we get a mystery.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Right now it`s the SHOWBIZ Countdown, "SHOWBIZ Buzz Makers."

"Real Housewives" real scandal. Did "Real Housewives of Atlanta" store Kenya Moore have a fake boyfriend just for the show?

And Anne Hathaway shows too much. Anne`s red carpet horror. Big buzz tonight about what she didn`t wear to her big movie premiere. But which SHOWBIZ buzz maker will be No. 1?

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT continues right now.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thank you for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer.

Tonight, we are counting down the top five "Biggest Buzz Makers of the Day". Let`s get right through it.

Coming in number five, it is a duel of two big reality show scandals. First up, yes --

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes. Yes.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: 1500, Dave. You know I can`t --

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Ever been at an auction, there`s hundreds of people there. So, in order for the auctioneer to hear them you have to scream out yes.

CROWD: Yes.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. Well, Dave Hester is one of the breakout stars of the hit reality show "Storage Wars." And now, he`s suing A&E networks for millions of bucks because he claims he was fired for complaining to producers about rigging the storage lockers with valuables just to make the show more dramatic.

Speaking of drama, there`s a second reality scandal involving the ex- boyfriend of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kenya Moore who claims that Kenya actually asked him to pretend to be her boyfriend so she could have a storyline.

Well, Kenya is not only crying foul but she actually wrote a letter to talk show host Wendy Williams and the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT coincidentally saying he is the fraud who wanted fame. She thought that he was her boyfriend but Wendy for one was not buying Kenya`s claim.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WENDY WILLIAMS, TV HOST: She`s a very polished performer. This is a really nice statement. Unfortunately I don`t believe a word. I -- I believe what Walter said.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: A made up story line on reality TV? Could it be?

Let me bring in Amanda Seales. She is a commentator from VH1`s "Best Week Ever", chomping on the bit, obviously, Amanda. And let me ask you about this, the "Housewives" he-said she-said that is going on here, Wendy is not buying it. And I need to know if you are.

AMANDA SEALES, VH1 COMMENTATOR: Of course not. This makes complete sense. This is more fitting for a reality show than the fights that we`ve come to expect. Like, this is how it works. You come up with something fake. That`s a reality shows are. We`re coming to see what a lot of us have already known. That reality shows are exactly not that.

HAMMER: Yes, the problem for Kenya is whatever the truth is people expect things like this to take place on reality shows.

SEALES: Definitely.

HAMMER: And that`s why Wendy wasn`t letting up on Kenya at all this morning. Let`s watch more.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WILLIAMS: I feel like Kenya, it is what it is. I know that it`s very embarrassing for you that all of this was exposed and I know that in a great small city like Atlanta, you can`t go anywhere now. You can`t go to the bank. You can`t go to the grocery store. Everybody is laughing at you and everybody is looking at you crazy. I don`t believe that anything else is going to come out about this in the show. She`s saying stay tuned because the publicist probably helped her engineer a statement. I`m not staying tuned. You`ve been exposed.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Wow. Wendy is really giving it to Kenya there. Wendy says she is not going to tune in to find out what went down between Walter and Kenya.

But I want to bring in Hyla. Hyla is the host of "Daily Buzz" on Celebbuzz.com.

And Hyla, I don`t think this is going to turn the viewers off that much. I quite frankly really think this is what they`ve come to expect.

HYLA, HOST, CELEBBUZZ.COM: I mean, Wendy Williams is not new to the game. Does she understand by her highlighting it on the show it accomplished exactly what the publicist was trying to get done? So she bought into it. She fueled the fire. Of course things are set up. If we were watching reality, we need producers to spice things up a little bit.

HAMMER: Yes. Thank goodness for the producers.

Well, maybe Kenya has been exposed but reality show star Dave Hester of A&E`s "Storage Wars" is saying, he was actually fired from his show for exposing what he says really happens on the show.

Now, Dave says the producers rig up these storage containers that they dig into with great finds just to heat up what we get to see on the show. Now A&E for their part say they`re not commenting but, Amanda, are you buying his claims this goes on?

SEALES: Oh, I`m definitely buying these claim. But I just don`t know if it`s, you know, worthy of a suit because they don`t have any right to tell you. They don`t have an obligation to tell you, hey, we`re rigging things. You know, that`s very clearly stated in these contracts. Basically, we`re going to do our show. If you want to be on it, here`s your shot. You know, so -- but this is America. You can pretty much sue for anything.

HAMMER: Well, yes, and we are a litigious society, aren`t we? And kind agree with - I mean, I totally agree with you. I don`t quite understand the merits of the suit, but we will see. Perhaps it will play out as we move on into the New Year and happy holidays to both Dave Hester and the folks A&E.

From sour grapes now to thankful exes. This comes in at number four on our SHOWBIZ Countdown. This is a little surprising to me but I love that she`s doing it. Denise Richards reportedly taking care of her ex-Charlie Sheen`s kids that Charlie had with his ex-Brooke Mueller.

Now, Brooke Mueller`s attorney yelled go and to confirmed with HLN that Brooke checked herself into rehab for Adderall. This is something she a prescription for. And he also says that there were no illegal substances involved in this at all.

Denise Richards` spokesperson aren`t commenting on the story but apparently Charlie couldn`t care for the boys right now because he`s very busy with his show "Anger Management."

Hyla, I think that if it is true, you know, here you have Denise Richards, of all people, now redefining the meaning of "modern family," right?

HYLA: Hundred percent and redefining herself. I mean, if you remember when they were getting a divorce, it got nasty. There were rumors throwing back and forth. Denise had a reality show. There`s so much junk out there. Who would have thought that fast forward several years she`s the responsible one in the party and she`s the one taking on the responsibility of these other kids?

Like, you`ve got to give her her props. She has really stepped up to the plate. Every time there`s some issue with Brooke, she comes in and says, you know what, regardless of any drama, let me handle these kids and I`ll take care of them. I mean, she`s really stepped it up.

HAMMER: Yes, I totally agree with you. And I think Amanda is shaking her head there. And this is a stark contrast to the Denise Richards of a few years ago when there was nothing but vitriol flying around as far as the situation now.

SEALES: Nice use of vitriol, by the way, but let`s be real. Charlie Sheen can`t take care of these kids -- not because he`s shooting a show but because he`s Charlie Sheen.

HAMMER: Well, there`s that. But I just think it`s fantastic. And you know, it does take a village, whether it`s a Hollywood glammy-glam village or not, at least they are all showing up. And, you know, for the kids, this is great. That`s what really matters the most.

HAMMER: People can surprise us even in the strange Hollyweird way.

SEALES: Right.

HAMMER: Let`s move on to number three in our countdown right now. Oh, I`m a little sad for this story. It`s a Hathaway wardrobe malfunction for "Les Mis" star Anne Hathaway. Now, we covered it up, of course, but Anne was caught getting out of her limo not wearing any underwear. Unfortunately for her, photographers snapped a photo of her.

But wait, there is more. "Today" show host Matt Lauer cracked a rather cringe-worthy joke with it this morning with Anne. Let`s watch how that played out.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MATT LAUER, HOST, "TODAY SHOW": Good morning, nice to see you.

ANNE HATHAWAY, ACTRESS: Hi, Matt.

LAUER: Seen a lot of you lately.

HATHAWAY: Sorry about that. I`d be happy to stay home, but the film.

LAUER: Let`s just get it out of the way. You had a little wardrobe malfunction the other night. What`s the lesson learned from something like that, other than that you keep smiling which you always do?

HATHAWAY: Well, it was obviously an unfortunate incident.

LAUER: Yes.

HATHAWAY: I think it kind of made me sad on two accounts. One was that I was very sad that we live in an age when someone takes a picture of another person in a vulnerable moment and rather than delete it and do the decent thing, sells it. And I`m sorry that we live in a culture that commodity fights sexuality of unwilling parents, which brings us back to "Les Mis", which is my character is, she is someone who is forced to sell sex to benefit her child because she has nothing and there`s no social safety net and, yes, so let`s get back to "Les Mis."

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. A way to reel it back in. Hold on a sec. First of all, I wouldn`t call it wardrobe malfunction because it was intentional.

And Hyla, I believe, you probably be with me. If you don`t want to be photographed not wearing any underwear, wear underwear.

SEALES: There`s that.

HYLA: OK, yes, sure, we could start with her not putting on any drawers. I feel you on that. But come on. Like, I feel Matt Lauer is such a beaten, broken man on that show. There`s been so much drama on the "Today" show, producers are like you need to go there. He looked uncomfortable doing it. Shame on him for going there. The reason this is a "Buzz Maker" story right now on this show is because Matt brought it up, otherwise I don`t think you guys would have stuck this on here. It would have been some --

HAMMER: Well, let me tell you something. I agree it was a little out of character, shall we say for Matt --

HYLA: He`s a creepy old man. Let`s get this out of the way.

HAMMER: We must count down not just Anne and her lack of underwear and what`s that, I hear?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: There come a time when -- when good men must wear masks.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: It`s the Lone Ranger movie getting lots of buzz tonight. Will it be our number one? And speaking of buzz, "Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence has been voted the most desirable woman of 2013. Is she going to top our countdown as well.

Amanda, Hyla, stay right there.

Well, Twinkie was number one in the hearts of many Hostess fans. With the death of the company, we`ve seen heartbreak all across the land, of course. But what about the other tasty snacks that are history too, like the Ding Dong?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JAMIE FOXX, ACTOR: Well, I`m not Twinkie. You know that`s my snack brother from another batter. But I got to ask: isn`t got no love for the Ding Dong? I said y`all isn`t got no love for the Ding Dong.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: We got love for the Ding Dong. Tonight, we have also got exclusive details about Jamie`s "SNL" treat could save the chocolate treat from a quiet extinction.

This is SBT, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: We`re back with our SHOWBIZ Countdown of the top five "Buzz Makers" today. Here`s where we are so far.

Coming in number five, the duel of the two big reality show scandals. Yes, "Storage Wars" star Dave Hester now suing A&E for millions of dollars because he claims that he was fired for complaining that the show was rigged. Also reality show housewives star Kenya Moore playing defense after her ex-boyfriend said she had him pretend to be her boyfriend just for the show.

At number four, love this. Denise Richards` daycare. Charlie Sheen`s ex, Brooke Mueller, checked into rehab and reportedly handed her twin boys to Charlie Sheen`s other ex, Denise, to take care of them while she seeks treatment.

At number three, "Les Mis" star Anne Hathaway`s miserable morning after she was caught on camera in an awkward position. Well, she wasn`t wearing any panties.

Coming in at number two on the top five "SHOWBIZ Buzz Makers", "Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence for being voted most desirable woman of 2013 by askmen.com. The Web site tallied a reported 2.4 million votes for Jennifer. She`s 22-years-old. Wow, what an incredible year she`s had. Starring in both critical and commercial hits like the "Hunger Games" and "Silver Lining Playbook."

Back with me now is Hyla, a host of "Daily Buzz" on celebuzz.com. I`m going to as Hyla.com right now, are you agreeing with the voters here, Hyla?

HYLA: First of all, since this was based on looks, personality, talent and other desirable characteristics -- no, this is about who men want to have sex with. Like, let`s call it what it is. And what a perfect score right now for her. Not only is she getting, you know, this commercial success with "Hunger Games" and these lists like this, but also the critical side too, critical acclaim with "Silver Lining Playbook." I mean, this is a perfect storm for her. She should absolutely be at the top of this list.

HAMMER: Good for her. Thank you, Hyla.

That leaves us at number one of the "Buzz Makers" tonight. And we got to give it to this brand-new trailer of the "Lone Ranger." Its starts Johnny Depp as the Native American spirit warrior Tonto and the fabulous Helena Bonham Carter. The hotly anticipated plague is directed by the legendary Gore Verbinski. Like the perfect storm of films here. It will be in theaters next summer.

Let`s watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Want to show you something. From the time of Alexander the Great, no man could travel faster than the horse that carried him. Not anymore. Imagine time and space under the mastery of man, power. Emperors and kings look like fools. Whoever controls this controls the future.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: There come a time Kimosabi (ph) when good man must wear mask.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Wow, that`s great. We move now to Eva Longoria dancing with cats. Uma Thurman speaking German. You know, some of Hollywood`s biggest stars are living secret lives overseas.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: That`s Eva Longoria selling cat food and Uma Thurman hawking ginger ale.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Tonight, the surprising big bucks deals by A-listers that they never wanted you to find out about it. It is a "SHOWBIZ Special Report" coming up next.

This is SBT, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

Time now for SHOWBIZ "Say What?". Bruno Mars only has an old school flavor in his music. But he also took fashion way back to the `70s with his retro tux for his appearance on the "Today" show.

What do you think is going through Bruno`s head at this very moment here? We want to hear from you. Share your thought bubble to us. Head to hlnTV.com/showbiztonight. Fill in the thought bubble and we will share our favorite answers tomorrow on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Leonardo Dicaprio, award-winning actors with secrets, big secrets that they earned big bucks for. Secrets that they never ever wanted Americans to learn about. What are they?

Well, Leo, George, Brad and a whole bunch of other Hollywood stars make commercials overseas that earn them whopping paychecks, but they worry that if we see them, we might not ever look at them the same way again. So what`s the deal with these A-listers and their double lives as international pitch men?

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner uncovers the secrets of the stars for hire in this SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Special Report.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

BRAD PITT, ACTOR: The world turns and we turn with it.

NISCHELLE TURNER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): Well, stomachs turned and we all chuckled at now infamous Brad Pitt ad for Chanel.

PITT: Inevitable.

TURNER: And apparently he knows it.

PITT: I said fair play.

TURNER: And playing with Pitt has meant a field day for comics.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Wake up and smile at reality. I`m sorry. Is there really no script?

TURNER: It`s this kind of commercial catastrophe weary of reaping the latest product.

BIANCA GOODLOE, BIANCA`S ENTERTAINMENT LAW FIRM: They have to be careful. There`s the stigma of being sold out.

TURNER: Bianca Goodloe`s entertainment law firm has been brokering celebrity endorsement deals for a decade.

GOODLOE: They do want to limit their exposure.

TURNER: And they try, at least in America. That`s why you were never supposed to see this.

Or this.

Yes, that`s Eva Longoria selling cat food and Uma Thurman hawking ginger ale. Both made for the overseas market, a choice, a number of Hollywood`s most bankable stars have been making for years.

GOODLOE: It`s easier contained their image abroad than in the United States although that is changing obviously with the Internet. The paydays are bigger. Seven figures is not surprising. The shift that did happening is I think there`s going to be a continued increase in these cross-branding deals.

TURNER: Today`s biggest deals go to stars whose cross-promote a brand with special appearances, corporate meet and greets and several commercials not just a single ad like this deal with Leonardo Dicaprio.

The "Titanic" star reportedly minted a cool $5 million to endorse Appo mobile, a Chinese phone company.

GOODLOE: It is a lot of money. But if you look at those ads, the vignettes are very much like a short film in your own rights.

TURNER: But even a series of ad force $5 million is a lot less work than most make. Goodloe says deals like these make stars like Dicaprio and George Clooney rich and allow them to cherry-pick the movies they do and that`s worth the risk to their image.

GOODLOE: George Clooney is the king of automotive endorsements. We`ve seen that he did the E-class for the specifically tailored to the Chinese market Mercedes. He`s also done Honda. I don`t know if a lot of people know that.

TURNER: In fact, not knowing is often the goal. Goodloe says all major deals especially those mint for a foreign audience come loaded with secrecy clauses, but isolating it to a certain region is a tall order in the digital ages.

GOODLOE: Even though the companies obey by these secrecy clauses there are third parties that republish the ad.

TURNER: And when that happens it`s not long until they`re posted to the Internet and we end up with -- an ad for the ages.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: That was SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nischelle Turner. And you know, it is the recession. I guess the stars need the extra cash too.

So, did Jamie Foxx single-handedly save the Ding Dong from extinction with his hilarious "Saturday Night Live" ode to the snack cake?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

FOXX: But don`t get me wrong. I`m not Twinkie. You know, that`s my snack brother from another batter. But I got to ask - I got no love for the Ding Dong? I said you all isn`t got no love for the Ding Dong.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: You won`t believe what James just told SHOWBIZ about teaming up with Hostess to give the Ding Dong its due.

This is SBT, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

FOXX: You know, and like the Twinkie, it is the only one with the delicious creamy filling. I used to be top of the snack gang, baby. Before they decided to make the Twinkie the face of the company. Next thing you know they rush me to the back of the aisle with the bread and stuff for some punk ass sponge cake.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: It`s Jamie Foxx on "Saturday Night Live" as the Ding Dong snack cake, taking on all the attention the Twinkie got to the sad, sad end of the Hostess brand. As you know, the company closed its doors but Ding Dongs need love too.

Well, Jamie`s committed in clean did not go on hurt. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was on the red carpet with Jamie Foxx for the premiere of "Django Unchained" here in New York City. And Jamie broke news with us about the power of his skit.

The Ding Dong may be dead, but the Hostess company has a cool plan to keep its memory alive. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

FOXX: Actually the CEO of hostess sent us a letter and said, you know, he wants to get with us so what we`re going to do is we`re going to take that further. We`re going to shoot behind the Ding Dong and we`re going to do this whole musical thing. But what we want to do is get a commemorative Ding Dong and we`ll sell it and we`ll give the money to charity.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Long live the Ding Dong. Yes, I just said that.

Thanks for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is on Monday to Thursday at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific.

HLN continues right now.
