A.J. HAMMER, HOST: Tonight on the "SHOWBIZ Countdown," today`s top shockers. So was Miley twerk-mania really predicted years ago?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Most experts now agree that at current usage levels, Miley Cyrus will be drained dry of entertainment value by 2013.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Wow, this is a hilarious spoof that may have actually predicted Miley`s wild VMA madness.

And how does that compare to Justin Timberlake`s boy band bombshell? So Justin says `N Sync could top One Direction, sparking a boy band battle of epic proportions. Tonight, the big reveal of tonight`s top shockers.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT starts right now.

Hello and thank you so much for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer with my guest co-host tonight, Natasha Curry, who is the anchor of HLN`s "WEEKEND EXPRESS." And tonight in the "SHOWBIZ Countdown," we are here to count down today`s top three shockers.

NATASHA CURRY, HLN ANCHOR: That`s right, A.J. And we`re kicking off the countdown with No. 3.

A dramatic, scary warning about Miley Cyrus surfaced today, and I`m thinking it had something to do with her whole twerk-nado at the Video Music Awards. Yes, we could go on and on about that. But tonight, we have something even better. It`s a warning about Miley that first reared its ugly head back in 2008, about what would happen if Miley kept getting more popular, A.J.

HAMMER: This is so wild, Natasha, but we do need to do a little bit of full disclosure here. This actually came from the fake news, Onion News Network. But wait until you see what they predicted. It`s amazing.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: So what are the consequences if we don`t cut back on our Miley use?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: As Miley entertainment becomes more and more scarce, the millions of families across the world that have grown dependent on it, will begin to fight for it or hoard it. Society as we know it will fail to function. Governments will collapse. Humanity will be reduced to roving tribes of barbarians, constantly searching and fighting and scouring the landscape for the last remaining Hannah Montana fashion doll, or in the best of both worlds, CD.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

COOPER: Love "The Onion."

So in this post-VMA twerking apocalypse that we`re experiencing, has the "Onion`s" Mayan prediction come true? Well, joining me in New York, celebrity journalists Raina Seitel and Marianne Garvey, they`re the stars of the Style Network`s docu-series, "City Girl Diaries."

So great to having you ladies here with us tonight.

RAINA SEITEL, "CITY GIRL DIARIES": Thanks, A.J.

MARIANNA GARVEY, "CITY GIRL DIARIES": Happy to be here.

HAMMER: So let`s get right to this. And our countdown question begins with this. Was "The Onion`s" 2008 prediction correct? Has Miley Cyrus, as they put it, lost all entertainment value in 2013?

Raina, what do you think?

SEITEL: I say absolutely not. Although I love the Onion, they got this completely wrong. I think the one winner out of Sunday`s show was Miley herself. I think she did such a great job just stirring up the controversy once again, and she`s all we`re talking about.

HAMMER: Marianne, do you agree with your partner there? I actually think she`s dead on. I think she`s doing quite well.

GARVEY: I agree with my Bobbsey twin over here. Me and my Bobbsey agree over here. I think that her entertainment value has actually gone up. I mean, all she did was rub her butt against everything and it`s really working for her.

HAMMER: Well, like so many things on "The Onion," this 2008 Miley Cyrus spoof was just so dead on. Yes, there`s more. Let us watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Do you say this is the worst entertainment crisis humanity has ever faced?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Absolutely, Miley is a potent entertainment resource, but we are over using her at unprecedented levels. If we don`t act now, the down-to-earth Miley who likes text messaging with her friends and playing guitar in her bedroom will be wiped off the earth forever.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What is the time line here?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Typically, a teenage star can have profits drilled from her for approximately six years before dropping down to "is she too wild" levels. Miley was discovered only three years ago, and already there`s pregnancy rumors, the photo scandal.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: However, though, Disney says it has plans to pump songs and shows out of Miley for at least another 3 to 5 years before discarding what`s left of her.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: She won`t last that long. Within two years, she`ll be little more than a withered, desiccated husk, incapable of causing anyone any amusement.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I don`t know what to say about that. Really have a good timeline going on there. Very ominous.

Lauren Lake is with us tonight. So good to have you here, Lauren. Lauren is the judge on the upcoming syndicated show "Paternity Court." You must watch it when it premiers on September 23.

So Lauren, this "Onion" thing, it actually kind of has a point when you think about it. I must ask you: is Miley`s bad-girl act wreaking havoc on her celebrity shelf life?

LAUREN LAKE, JUDGE, "PATERNITY COURT": You know, if you live by the theory that all publicity is good publicity, you know what? She`s got everyone talking about her.

But you know what I want to say, A.J.? I think that what she got up there and did, for me, I think she -- she stepped back several years in terms of everything she`s worked for artistically, as an actress, as a musician. I didn`t find that amusing.

And I also took issue with the fact that it was so closely linked to African-American culture as if, all of a sudden, she got cool, and this is what cool people do, and the dancers dancing behind her. I was not feeling it.

I think "The Onion" had, I think, a good point when they said what would happen to down-to-earth Miley. And I feel like we lost her that day.

HAMMER: Yes.

LAKE: And she needs to get some down-to-earth people behind her tat can tell her, "That`s not a good look, baby."

HAMMER: It might be working for her this week, with all of her sales and everything, but in the long term, I think she`s going to have to shake it up if she wants to extend her shelf life.

Wouldn`t you agree, Natasha?

CURRY: I think she`s shaking it quite enough. You can push envelope. I think she just tore it open.

I`m a mom, and I want to put clothes on her. Girl, she`s adorable, but tame it down a little. We get the point: you`re sexy. We get it. OK.

Now to our No. 2 before I start blushing here. Our No. 2 shocker, Justin Timberlake, risking the wrath of millions of teen and tween girls by slamming One Direction. Fresh from his reunion with `N Sync at the VMAs, Justin took a shot at the current boy band du jour during a radio interview this morning with New York`s Power 105.1.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It was funny, because they actually showed One Direction during y`all performance, and they was looking at y`all like, "We`ll never be that."

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, MUSICIAN: I have not seen them on stage, but, you know, I`d be willing to say that...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: They will never be that.

TIMBERLAKE: That we were better than them. I will say that.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Absolutely.

TIMBERLAKE: I don`t feel like I`m, like, laying down any kind of gauntlet.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It`s only true, like.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

CURRY: OK. So Timberlake, he did say that he likes One Direction. But I mean, it`s out there now. So our countdown question, in trashing One Direction a little there, does Justin Timberlake kind of come off a little cocky? Raina, what do you think?

SEITEL: Justin Timberlake can do no wrong. So absolutely not. He was very demure about it. He was a bit shy about it. Now I want to see a boy band face-off. If he wants to make good, that`s what I`m talking about. A boy band face-off and bring in New Kids on the Block, how about that, too?

CURRY: I like that. Nothing wrong with a little healthy trash talking. You know? They`re competitors.

All right. Raina, Marianne and Lauren, ladies, thank you so much. A.J.

SEITEL: Thank you.

CURRY: Bye.

Well, that takes us to our No. 1 shocker in the "SHOWBIZ Countdown" tonight. And we were really all in shock this morning when the new issue of "People" magazine came out with this cover story: Michael and Catherine separate.

Michael Douglas, of course, and Catherine Zeta-Jones have been married for 13 years now. And that really is a long time for a Hollywood marriage.

Well, this afternoon, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT did receive this confirmation from Catherine`s rep. Here`s what they told us: "Catherine and Michael are taking some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage."

Raha Lewis is staff writer for "People" magazine and joins me tonight from Hollywood. So Raha, the question everybody`s been asking all day long about this is why? What has "People" learned about that?

RAHA LEWIS, STAFF WRITER, "PEOPLE" MAGAZINE: Well, look, this is a couple that`s been under a tremendous amount of stress and pressure: from, you know, Michael`s throat cancer and Catherine getting treatment for bi-polar disorder, it`s been a difficult time. But they do love each other very much. So this is just some time apart for evaluation.

HAMMER: So what do we know about how Catherine has been dealing either with her bipolar disorder or even with the fact that they`re separating now?

LEWIS: Well, obviously, it`s a very stressful time. But, the two are communicating. Catherine talks to Michael. And they`re really solid on the fact that they want to put their children first. So they`re definitely united on that front.

HAMMER: And what about Michael? Anything new on how he`s coping, whether -- with his throat cancer or the separation, as well?

LEWIS: Again, you know, it`s a sad time, so there`s a lot of sadness, but, it`s definitely a time of open and honest conversation between the two of them.

HAMMER: So, of course...

LEWIS: They`re taking a time-out.

HAMMER: And whenever this happens with a celebrity couple, or any couple, for that matter, when they`re talking about a trial separation, you really don`t know what that means in terms of what`s next. What has "People" learned? Are they talking about divorce? Do you think Catherine and Michael are going to genuinely try to work things out here?

LEWIS: Well, there`s no paperwork filed. There`s nothing of the sort, no legal talk or official divorce talk at the moment. We know their sources have said is, they are still dividing.

HAMMER: What do we know about how their kids are doing? Thirteen-year-old and 10-year-old kids?

LEWIS: Well, for any kid, this would be very difficult. But we know that the kids are spending time with their parents. They were recently on vacation with Michael, seen laughing and having a good time. So, you know, when you have two parents who are putting their kids first and do share a deep love, the kids will feel that.

HAMMER: Yes. We`ll hope for the best for them. All right, Raha. Thank you so much for joining us.

And there`s plenty more about Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones`s surprising separation in the new issue of "People" magazine that will be on newsstands everywhere on Friday.

So from splitting up to stripping down. You know, Miley is not the only who is willing to bare all. Oh, no, Hollywood is just filled with lots of naked ambition, from Gaga to Beyonce. Why are stars taking off their clothes? Tonight we`ve got a very revealing "SHOWBIZ Special Report," "When Stars Get Naked."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: (UNINTELLIGIBLE)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: This is crazy. Fast-talking intern Chris Rosa amazingly recites the entire script from "Mean Girls" in record time. His feat turned him into an instant YouTube star, and now Chris is right here to share his secrets to speed talking and newfound fame.

This is SBT, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Now, on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "Geico`s 15 Minutes of Fame."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ROSA: Hi, I`m Christopher Rosa. I`m the intern extraordinaire. And I will be reciting "Mean Girl" in under 30 minutes. If you don`t believe me, just watch.

(UNINTELLIGIBLE)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Wow, that guy is unbelievable. Can you believe he can actually recite every single line from "Mean Girls" in less than 30 minutes, Natasha?

His name is Chris Rosa. He`s 20 years old and I think he`s really enjoying his 15 minutes of fame after this "Mean Girls" miracle went crazy viral.

CURRY: He`s crazy talented, and he did it while he was working as an intern at the MTV movie site, "Next Movie." Nischelle Turner just spoke with Chris about where he got this wacky idea. Look.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

ROSA: Well, actually, it honestly wasn`t an idea that I had at the internship. It was this fun quirk that I can do. I`ve been able to do it for a year and a half now, and I sort of tell my friends that I can do it and they laugh at me. It is pretty bizarre.

So I told my bosses at "MTV Next Movie" that I could do that, and they thought it would be a really awesome idea for a video and asked if I`d comfortable doing it. And I was totally game to do it. So yes, that`s sort of how it came about.

TURNER: It really is amazing. Can we take a little bit more of a -- look at it a little bit more, please? Because I can`t get enough. Let`s look.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ROSA: What is this? All right, and wait. Please, call me. Who? You dirty little liar. I have curfew. (UNINTELLIGIBLE)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: I`ve got to ask you how many times have you seen that movie?

ROSA: Well, I mean, I definitely am a fan of the movie. I`d say over the past nine years I`ve seen it about 100 times.

TURNER: Oh, my.

ROSA: I`ve seen it, like, ten to 15 times a year. I`m a big fan of the movie, for sure.

TURNER: Yes, OK. Let me put you to the challenge here. OK? I want you to recite your favorite part of "Mean Girls" but I want you to do it in 30 seconds. I`m going to put a countdown clock on you. OK? Can you do it?

ROSA: Thirty seconds? No problem.

TURNER: All right, ready to go? Ready?

ROSA: Yes.

TURNER: All right, go.

ROSA: Wait, sit down, seriously, down. Wait, what? Shut up, shut home schooled, that is interesting. You look really pretty. So, what about the rest of the week? (UNINTELLIGIBLE) We`ll just wear pink.

TURNER: I don`t know if you took a breath. I don`t know what you said, but that was brilliant.

All right, I want to tell you, you know, Tina Fey wrote the screen play for "Mean Girls." She`s working on a stage version of the movie. We actually reached out to her today to find out if she`s seen you in action. But she`s traveling, so we didn`t get a chance to talk to her. But I wanted to give you the opportunity to send maybe a special message to her and -- I don`t know -- ask for a part in the show.

ROSA: Absolutely. I mean, I`m a public relations major at school. But my minor is theater. I love theater, I love musical theater so I mean, that would be a dream come true, far-fetched and come true.

But my message to Tina Fey would be thank you so much for creating "Mean Girls." For someone growing up in the south and getting bullied and all that kind of stuff, this really was a saving grace for someone like me. It was such great entertainment growing up. So just a big thank you for creating a movie that was sort of almost a sound track to my childhood.

TURNER: Chris, you know what? You made me laugh this whole time, and right there at the end, you got my heart. You almost brought me to tears there. I appreciate you being with us today. And I hope and wish the best for you. Because you really are great.

ROSA: Thank you so much.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

CURRY: He is just adorable. A.J., what about you, can you speed talk like that?

HAMMER: I can a little bit. I picked it up in my radio days. It`s actually very cheesy. Would you like to hear it real quickly?

CURRY: I would love to.

HAMMER: OK. The hot rocking flame thrower, get down with your bad self, baby.

All right. Let`s just move on, because Alex Baldwin tonight -- That was terrible.

CURRY: You`ve got it.

HAMMER: Alec may be doing a little speed talking in order to get out of some trouble. He`s had yet another run in with a paparazzo. I kind of feel for Alec. He is just trying protect his wife, who`s just had a baby. But is he really in hot water this time?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CAITLIN UPTON, MISS TEEN SOUTH CAROLINA 2007: Some people out there in our nation don`t have maps.

I just started speaking before I created a sentence in my head.

Such as South Africa and the Iraq, everywhere like such as.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Favorite moment ever. "Beauty Blunders" tonight. Miss Teen South Carolina set the bar for us with her baffling "such as" bomb. But now a new beauty queen has given her some stiff competition. And that comical moment is next.

This is SBT, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UPTON: Some people out there in our nation don`t have maps.

I just started speaking before I created a sentence in my head.

Such as South Africa and the Iraq, everywhere like such as.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Is it wrong that I love that so much? And it`s such a classic beauty pageant blunder. That, of course, is former Miss Teen South Carolina Kate Upton. She may have really set the bar, but I believe she has some pretty stiff competition right now.

CURRY: You know I was in the audience when that all happened, A.J. I remember it very well, too.

Yes, well, a beauty contestant for the Philippines is giving us a new crowning moment to buzz about. Let`s just say she gave an answer that you have got to see to believe.

Here`s CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

JEANNE MOOS, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): Warning: This may be uncomfortable. This may be awkward, but think how much worse it would be if you were the one onstage with Miss Philippines USA pageant, where beauty is only skin deep and so are the questions. What if somebody asked you of your five senses which do you prefer?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: If you could only have one.

JOANLIA LISING, BEAUTY CONTESTANT: Thank you for that wonderful question.

MOOS: But Joanlia Lising`s answer was a little less wonderful.

LISING: I would pick seeing, because seeing is the best sense that we can ever see, because seeing is believing. And believing in what you see is perfect.

MOOSE: Bear with her just a little longer.

LISING: And um, out of all the senses. Seeing what really -- it`s wonderful, because thank you so much. That will be it.

MOOS (on camera): Talk about senses. At least she had the sense to shut up. Maybe she should take comfort from Miss South Carolina who made the mother of all beauty pageant gaffes.

UPTON: I personally believe that U.S. Americans...

MOOS (voice-over): Remember when Katie Upton was asked at the Miss Teen USA pageant why 1/5 of Americans can`t locate the U.S. on a world map, she got lost.

UPTON: Like such as South Africa, and the Iraq, everywhere like such as.

MOOS: But since then she`s capitalized on the blunder, joking about it with a pistachio nut add.

UPTON: I personally think of cracking shells with help Americans who don`t have nuts.

MOOS: She globe trotted in "The Amazing Race," even as her rivals mocked her.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Everywhere like such as.

MOOS: She stars in her own Web series, "Learning Stuff with Katie Upton." She plays dumb.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Sir Isaac Newton?

UPTON: Like Fig Newton?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Like Fig Newton? Not exactly.

MOOS: And on Tosh.O, she got a do-over, answering that same beauty pageant question, this time giving the correct response.

UPTON: I don`t know.

DANIEL TOSH, HOST, "TOSH.O": Thank you, South Carolina.

It`s a beauty pageant, America. Nobody gives a (EXPLETIVE DELETED) what`s going on up here.

MOOS: Joanlia, meet your role model, Katie.

UPTON: I personally believe...

LISING: Seeing is believing.

UPTON: Everywhere like such as.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Thank you. That will be it.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

CURRY: You know, at least the former Miss South Carolina, she had a good sense of humor about it. But we say there are cases, you know, where you just think too much or you`re exhausted. You know?

HAMMER: Hey, but she put her hands on her hip as an exclamation point. It was perfect. Sorry.

CURRY: There.

HAMMER: As we move on, and such as, these next stars are not just a bunch of pretty faces. They`re also naked. From Miley to Gaga, Beyonce, why are these stars stripping down for the world to see? It`s our "SHOWBIZ Special Report," "When Stars Get Naked."

Confessions of an undercover salesman. Can`t wait for this. Their secrets exposed. Are you getting ripped off?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: But the whole thing was tainted by the idea that I was essentially there to keep the profit for the dealership as high as possible and to never really reveal the true cost of a vehicle and the true cost of what the customer was going to pay.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: A revealing look at the shenanigans of selling cars straight from a guy who knows.

This is SBT, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Right now, a "SHOWBIZ Special Report," stars getting naked. Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj. A flood of celebrities, stripping down to their birthday suits. But why?

Plus, "SHOWBIZ True Confessions." Dirty tactics, straight-up lies. The secrets car dealers really don`t want you to know.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: But the whole thing was tainted by the idea that I was essentially there to keep the profit for the dealership as high as possible and to never really reveal the true cost of a vehicle and the true cost of what the customer was going to be paying.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I can tell you, sticking around for these revealing confessions will truly pay off. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT continues right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thank you for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer, with my guest co-host, Natasha Curry, who of course is the anchor of HLN`s "Weekend Express." Natasha, let us now share with everyone what we were talking about at our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT staff meeting this morning.

CURRY: Yes, A.J., we got in this great debate about why Miley Cyrus is so obsessed with getting naked. We just saw Miley at the VMAs during her twerk-nado, wearing that flesh-toned body suit, showing off her undies, and that came just a few weeks after we saw her naked posing for a collection of Mark Jacobs` t-shirts.

HAMMER: And the thing is here, Miley has had plenty of naked company all summer long. The big question is why? Well, tonight a SHOWBIZ special report, why stars get naked.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

NISCHELLE TURNER, CNN CORRESPONDENT: We know the weather got incredibly hot this summer. Downright sweltering, and one possible effect of the hot weather, stars have been taking off their clothes. Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Beyonce. It seems stars couldn`t take their clothes off fast enough this summer.

GWEN FLAMBERG, US WEEKLY: It is pretty amazing that all of these celebrities are posing nude.

TURNER: Gwen Flamberg is the beauty and lifestyle director for "Us Weekly" magazine. She tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT all these naked stars made things even hotter this summer.

FLAMBERG: Celebrity, narcissism go hand in hand. So while it`s a little shocking to see naked celebrities, it is not surprising at all.

TURNER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you there are three big reasons why stars stripped down this summer. The first reason, for art. Exhibit A. Lady Gaga.

FLAMBERG: She is really comfortable naked.

TURNER: That`s for sure. Her latest nude foray was this video to help a Kickstarter funding project for performance artist Marina Abramovich (ph).

FLAMBERG: She is all about telling her fans, her followers, her little monsters that it`s cool to be whoever you are, whether you`re dressed to the nines or you are stripped down and bare. She`s all about just being yourself, and it that means being yourself in the buff, so be it.

TURNER: Check out this killer cover Beyonce just did for "Flaunt" magazine, wearing nothing but gold glitter and her best Sasha Fierce look.

FLAMBERG: The female body is a work of art in and of itself, and especially when you`re someone like Beyonce, who is not super skinny. She has curves, she is a real woman. She`s a new mom, and she is not afraid to go bare.

TURNER: And actress Lake Bell got everyone talking with her nude cover for "New York" magazine`s fashion edition.

FLAMBERG: I bought that magazine. Talk about sex selling.

TURNER: The second big reason stars stripped down this summer, for a cause. Miley Cyrus went the full Miley this summer, posing nude for a collection of Mark Jacobs` t-shirts as a part of his "protect the skin you`re in" campaign. All proceeds benefit skin cancer research.

FLAMBERG: Miley certainly got people`s attention.

TURNER: And check this out. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, which has gotten tons of stars to pose nude for its anti-fur campaign, recently debuted an ad featuring not one, not two, but four Miss USA winners.

FLAMBERG: You`re trying to get people`s attention. What better way than to just be stark naked?

TURNER: And the third big reason stars stripped down this summer? For their followers. Stars from Adrian Curry (ph) to Heidi Klum to Nicki Minaj got way up close and personal on Twitter and Instagram.

FLAMBERG: There is no better way to gain Twitter or Instagram followers than to post a really cool naked picture of yourself.

TURNER: The nude pics phenomenon even hit the guys. Donnie Wahlberg sent out this fresh from the shower shot right before hitting the stage with New Kids on the Block.

FLAMBERG: There are some dudes out there of all ages who are very proud of their bodies and have been showing off this bodies this summer. A little disconcerting, Geraldo Rivera. Talking to you.

TURNER: Oh, Geraldo. In July, the 70-year-old newsman got the most attention since he has gotten since he`s cracked open Al Capone`s vault, all for sending out this half-naked selfie late one night, he says after drinking tequila.

FLAMBERG: There should be a boundary on what the world can see.

TURNER: So it turns out stars have lots of reasons to strip down that have nothing to do with the summer heat, and we also have lots of reasons we love to watch them do it.

FLAMBERG: They`re celebs, they have got these gorgeous bodies. They are not mere mortals like the rest of us, and they show them off.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Natasha, (inaudible), I love watching this, we get to see Gaga, that beautiful shot of Beyonce, and then, and you know I love you, Geraldo. But then we saw Geraldo, and it just kind of ruined it for me.

CURRY: Some things are just better left to the imagination.

HAMMER: Or not at all.

(CROSSTALK)

CURRY: Exactly, thank you, AJ. All the stars are taking it off, Hollywood`s most famous hothead, Alec Baldwin, keeps going off. Alec allegedly just got into yet another pushing fest with the paparazzo, this time near his apartment in New York. And the whole thing was caught on camera by another tabloid photographer. So some people, Alec, are wondering, we know the photogs are annoying you, but maybe it`s time you just do some deep breathing like your yoga instructor wife taught you to do, and then, walk on by. CNN`s Nischelle Turner has the details for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

TURNER: An alleged hostile scuffle caught on camera as Alec Baldwin, well known for his distaste of the paparazzi, propels a photographer on top of a parked car. Just days earlier, the "30 Rock" star was snapped arriving at his New York apartment with wife Hilaria, carrying his newborn baby girl. The new photos appeared to show the angry actor pinning a photographer`s arms behind his back.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You look fabulous.

TURNER: Both Baldwin and the photog called 9-1-1. The star stated he was walking with his wife when the paparazzo got too close. Both parties are not pressing charges.

JOE CONCHA, MEDIAITE: You can probably blame the paparazzi. They are usually at fault. They usually get too close. The problem is, we have seen it time and again with Alec Baldwin.

TURNER: Back in February, according to the New York Post, a reporter was trying to get a comment on a lawsuit involving wife Hilaria. Post reports Baldwin became aggressive, grabbing the reporter by the arm, allegedly calling him a crackhead and a racially derogatory word. And this photo, published in the Daily News, was taken when Baldwin went to apply for his marriage license last June. He accused the photographer of bumping him with his lens. In a recent red carpet appearance, Baldwin addressed the shutterbugs.

ALEC BALDWIN, ACTOR: Most of the paparazzi have their foot out to trip you. They want you to fall on the ground and they want to get that shot.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

CURRY: Yes, it would be kind of hard, (inaudible) get too close to your kid. I get that, AJ, but you have got all the cameras around, you got to be ready for them, I suppose. Cover the baby up at all times in public. I don`t know.

(CROSSTALK)

HAMMER: I feel bad for Alec, you know, he has been dealing with this for a number of years. The paparazzi do go after him. He has just got to sort of find that peaceful place to not necessarily get as hot-headed about it, but look, it`s simply who he is, but I agree, breathe deep, walk on by.

Talk about getting hot, get ready for some SHOWBIZ hot flashes tonight, including the incredible brand new reports that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are Hollywood`s new it couple. What do you think about that? Has Katie really moved on to Tom`s buddy and former co-star? And a SHOWBIZ true confession you definitely can`t afford to miss. Secrets from a car salesman.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The whole thing was tainted by the idea that I was essentially there to keep the profit for the dealership as high as possible and to never really reveal the true cost of the vehicle and the true cost of what the customer was going to be paying.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: The confessions that will reveal how not to get ripped off next time you are on the car lot. And wait until you see tonight what we named as our moment of SHOWBIZ awesomeness. This is SBT, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: You have got to join us tomorrow. It`s a SHOWBIZ special "True Confession. " I am talking reality stars, former teen heart throbs, even an ex-gang member and a 27-year-old virgin. We have got their biggest secrets revealed. You do not want to miss it tomorrow on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. But first, a shocking SHOWBIZ true confession of a used car salesman.

CURRY: That`s right, AJ. Today, you are meeting Philip Reed, a senior editor for Edmunds.com. He worked undercover as a car salesman for three months, and he is revealing the big secret dealers don`t want you to know.

REED: I`m Philip Reed, and for three months, I worked as an undercover car salesman.

The whole structure of the dealership was such that it was almost like a paramilitary organization. I knew that if they found out who I was, I could have potentially been in physical danger. Often I felt like the enemy when I was approaching the customers. Very often, I was aware that the customer was not getting a good deal.

We were taught a process which is generally known in the industry as payment packing. Or packing the payments. And essentially what you do is, you try to get the customer to agree to a very high monthly payment on a car, so high that it creates a lot of room, and other products and services can be then added into there, at very -- what seems to be very little cost.

The whole thing was tainted by the idea that I was essentially there to keep the profit for the dealership as high as possible and to never really reveal the true cost of the vehicle and the true cost of what the customer was going to be paying.

When I was being trained, they taught me a tactic that they called stealing the trade-in. And they would pretend to call the used car manager and they would say, could you tell me the last six figures that you got on the Nissan Versa at auction? And then you would write down fictitious but very, very low numbers, as if you were getting this from a real source, but you were not actually even talking to anybody. And the customer, you would not even have to present it to the customer, because they are sitting there, watching you write it down and they are thinking oh, my gosh, I thought my car was worth a lot more than that.

There was a manager I heard about who actually undervalued the value of a trade-in by $6,000. And that is bad enough, but what was really bad, was that he was called out in one of the general dealership meetings and treated like a hero.

Over the years, occasionally it has been revealed that I was the author of this. Which has kind of shaken up the industry. The No. 1 negative response that I get is you are taking food away from me and my family. This is my living, and you have no business telling people these things. And I have also heard from some dealers that thought that I did a service, because I represented the industry accurately, but I also kind of sent out a warning shot, in terms of, you know, customers don`t like it. If you want to sell more cars, don`t treat them this way. Even though I did this project several years ago, I can tell you that that most of these games are alive and well in a lot of dealerships around the country.

NEMOY: Whoa!

ABRAMS: Energy and action.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It`s very weird getting notes on being Mr. Spock.

NEMOY: So it was not perfect.

(CROSSTALK)

ABRAMS: One word, one word. But he is as always the most gentlemanly, prepared, sweet guy as long as you give him coffee ice cream, which he is obsessed with.

CURRY: Tonight, a SHOWBIZ hot flash, the guy who claims he fathered Kourtney Kardashian`s son, Mason, takes a lie detector test on the Trisha Goddard show. And wait until you hear the results. Now we know that Kourtney wasn`t even swearing this from the start, but what else in the world does this guy have up his sleeve, AJ?

HAMMER: It`s so strange. Maybe a DNA test? I don`t know. Joining me now for this SHOWBIZ hot flash, Lauren Lake. She is the judge on the brand new syndicated show, "Paternity Court." It premieres on September 23rd. So the perfect person to weigh in on this. Lauren, let us now together with all of our viewers watch how it all went down. It was on Trisha Goddard`s show that will air on September 17th. Roll it out.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TRISHA GODDARD, TALK SHOW HOST: Michael, we asked you, are you telling the truth about having sexual intercourse with Kourtney? You said yes. Tim?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The polygraph determined that Michael was not being truthful.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Not being truthful, Lauren Lake. I mean, how humiliating that has to be, if this guy is insisting it`s true, caught in a lie right there. So on your new show, you actually help men deal with paternity issues. I got to know what kind of advice you would be giving this guy about not?

LAKE: Go sit down somewhere and shut up. Obviously, this young man is looking for attention. And you know, dealing with paternity issues, they are not a joke. These are big issues, these are, we are talking about someone`s life here, and I find it offensive that he would make this his publicity ploy, when he knows obviously that he has not had sex with her, and he is not Mason`s father, which has already been determined by the paternity test.

I`m really disappointed here that this young man is continuing this line or course of action, I should say. And I would definitely tell him, it`s time to leave it alone.

HAMMER: A little bit of narcissism going on there, maybe, Natasha. I did not--

LAKE: A lot.

HAMMER: -- actually see the shot with his pants on fire, but I think he should, as Lauren said, just kind of go away and do it quietly.

CURRY: I agree. He needs to take his metal detector for a pot of gold and go somewhere else. Maybe his own bank account for a change, I don`t know. Anyway, AJ, let`s move on here to our next hot flash, and it may be too hot to handle. The news today, that Jamie Foxx is reportedly holding hands with Katie Holmes at a party in the Hamptons while they were dancing to Robin Thicke`s "Blurred Lines." We are talking Tom Cruise`s ex-wife, with Jamie, who co-starred with Tom in "Collateral." There are no reports of any twerking or any earth shattering behavior like that, but they have reportedly been quietly dating. So, Lauren, I like Tom, but I am kind of hoping that this one is true. Are you kind of worried, though, how Tom may take the news?

LAKE: Well, he may feel like he is breaking the guy code just a hair. You know, I mean, they were friends and co-stars, a while back, but at the same time, you know, Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes are adults. If they want to date and get to know one another, that is their business. And look if every person we danced or shake a tail feather with, people now have to tease us of now dating them, most of us would be in trouble. So I think we need to just appreciate the fact that these two were having a good time together at a party. And if things develop, we can kind of make that call then.

CURRY: You know, and Jamie Foxx to be fair had his arm around Colin Powell. So I don`t know, you make a good point. Lauren Lake, thank you so much. A.J., I don`t know, they both have December birthdays. Could be meant for each other.

HAMMER: Here is another hot flash for you tonight. The lads from One Direction, up to something strange with the flower and the fruit and that song. I will reveal what the heck is going on with them in your moment of SHOWBIZ awesomeness. This is SBT, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: I hope you are ready, because it`s now time for SHOWBIZ awesomeness. This is where we reveal the most awesome story of the day. How could we ignore it tonight? One Direction getting hilariously cheesy as they shill their brand new perfume for girls. You will see it, the lads are using a Sacron Sweet (ph) commercial. They have the classic song "My Favorite Things" from "The Sound of Music" in the background there. As they take on just about every fragrance cliche under the sun. So please, watch with me now and feel the love.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Yes, Natasha, this spot has only been on YouTube for three days, believe it or not, it already has 2 million hits, although with their fans, I believe that.

CURRY: I believe it too, AJ. And I don`t think it`s cheesy at all, I think it`s actually pretty sweet, you know, and this guy sniffing flowers, that is pretty romantic.

HAMMER: Hold on a second there, do you think they were going for sweet or they were going to cheese?

I think it`s sweet, but I think they were definitely having a big time with it.

CURRY: There is a little, what with the sock sniffing of course and the fruit groping, I think so. But I think it`s kind of sweet, makes you want to buy the perfume.

HAMMER: Makes me want to have a perfume line of my own. Right now. Thank you so much for watching tonight. I`m AJ Hammer in New York. You can always catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT every Monday through Thursday, 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific. HLN continues right now.
