Actress and reality star and talk show host, Tamera Mowry, stunned even her own twin sister, as she blurted out that she is being overwhelmed by hatred and racism, directed at her online. Listen to yourself from Oprah.com.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Here`s my rant. It`s 2014. Last time I checked, anyway, aren`t we past this racist ignorant garbage?
I wonder if her tormenters even realize that she herself is the product of a biracial relationship. My guess is, whoever is spewing this hatred about her marriage would not have the courage to do so in person. It`s so easy to hide behind an anonymous screen name.
You know, I also think they`re just jealous. Tamera is hugely successful, married to handsome FOX News correspondent Adam Housley. They have a gorgeous young son. She is now co-hosting "The Real," which is a hot new talk show.
Still, as her secret agony began to spill out on camera, it shocked even her twin sister, Tia, who apparently didn`t know about it. Here`s another clip from Oprah.com.

TAMERA MOWRY: Because when my husband and I are so openly and we`re fine with showing it`s love. Love. But people choose to look past love and spew hate. That`s what hurts me. Because I`ve never experienced so much hate ever in my life. Ever.

Straight out to our fantastic Lion`s Den debate panel.
First of all, I applaud Tamera for opening up about this clearly painful torment that she is experiencing. But my God, Tanya Miller, defense attorney, former federal prosecutor, in this day and age, the marriage of people from different backgrounds is so incredibly common. I find it hard to believe we`re actually talking about this, and she`s crying about it.
TANYA MILLER, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Yes. You know what, Jane, here`s the issue. We feel like, and we want so desperately to be in a post-racial society and have a post-racial culture.
But the problem with that is, is that there are a lot of people out there who are still racist, who still hold these outdated beliefs about African-Americans, and about other minorities. And Twitter, and some of these social media sites just give them the ability to express it in the meanest, nastiest, most honest way and hide behind a screen name. We call them keyboard thugs.
So basically what Tamera has experienced here is some keyboard thugging by some haters, and unfortunately, a lot of people have these feelings.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: And the question is, who? Who are these people? Tamera says she`s being accused of, quote, "being less black" because her husband is white. Here`s another clip from Oprah.com. And let`s analyze it on the other side.

TAMERA MOWRY: This was the big one. They say oh, Tia is a true black woman, because she married a black woman. I`m less of a black person because I married white?

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Sister Tia, who`s married to an African-American, says she gets the opposite criticism. People have told her that her twin Tamera actually got it right marrying a white man. Sounds like neither of them can win. That`s the ultimate of unfairness.
Anahita Sedaghatfar, criminal defense attorney, we are a melting pot nation. You know, we all come from different backgrounds. Look at our diverse panel here. I`m Puerto Rican and Irish. You know, everybody here is different. And yet, there are these people who are still attacking you for loving someone who`s different? I really don`t get it.
ANAHITA SEDAGHATFAR, CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Right. Jane, I totally agree. Look, I`m Persian. And I receive a lot of these hate tweets and people making comments about my ethnicity. And I just -- I find it reprehensible that we are in 2014, and there are people out there that still spew this type of racism, this type of hate for the sole purpose of causing somebody else pain and hurt. I just -- I can`t wrap my head around that.
And like your other guest said, unfortunately, with the advent of social media, with Twitter and Facebook, these people can do this anonymously. And that is so cowardly.
But I mean, if we`re going to put some type of positive spin on all of this, I guess you could say that she is getting some publicity now. She is in the limelight. We`re talking about...
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. You`re saying to me...
SEDAGHATFAR: ... this and she`s getting to promote her show.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: ... and I`ve got to go to Stuart Brazell on this. Do you really think that -- I mean, those tears were real. It didn`t seem like this is...
SEDAGHATFAR: Of course.
MICHAEL BILLY: Absolutely.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: "I`m on -- I`m on `The Real` now. And I want to publicize myself because my reality show is running on E!, and I`ve got this new talk show."
BILLY: No.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: No, no, no.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: I can`t imagine -- I mean, well, Michael Billy -- I can`t imagine anyone would do this.
BILLY: I understand it on so many different levels. And I`m sure a lot of viewers can understand this, as well.
Look, I understand it as a gay man who just got engaged. I get ignorance. And especially when it comes from the shadows of the Internet. But here`s where we`re doing right.
This television show right now is bringing this -- the discussion to light. And we`re talking about this ignorance. I mean, it`s a little bit glib to say, but I even thought that our ignorance was proceeding from racism and moving on to homophobia. But now we`re even going backwards and going back to racism.
And all this does is really highlight for the audience that this is still an ongoing issue, and it`s worth having a discussion.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: It is.
BILLY: People`s inability to identify themselves as human beings instead of, you know, grabbing onto race, or even sexuality. I`m a human being first.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: I say earthlings. I include all living creatures, because we are all under threat.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Right.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: And unless we realize that we`re all valuable as living creatures, God`s creatures, as it were, then we are really doing a disservice to everyone. Because we all need each other.
Let`s go out to the phone lines. Crystal, Iowa, what have you got to say? Crystal, Iowa.
CALLER: Yes. I really think that the year 2013 was the year of the racist. Because we had "The Real World" where it`s like a man, like, made monkey gestures towards a black woman and "The Real World Challenge," where another guy made a racist comment. And we`ve had politicians say racist comments. We have "Duck Dynasty," where he said racist comments.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, you make an excellent point. And Stuart Brazell, pop culture expert, you know, they always say three steps forward, two steps back. I wonder if we`re getting kind of blowback, because of the advances that we`ve made, as a species, to embrace everyone, that there is a backlash of a reactionary sentiment.
STUART BRAZELL, POP CULTURE EXPERT: I think -- I think -- one of the things I think is interesting. Actually, you said two things, Jane, that I think are interesting.
One, she didn`t just get these kind of comments from white people, or nonblack people. It appears that there were African-American people attacking her for marrying a white man. And I think that is inappropriate. And I think that is a discussion that has to be had, and has been had in the black community for a long time.
Black folks have got to make some progress in this -- in this area, too. So I think you are right to even make note of that. It`s unfortunate that people are still having those ideas.
BILLY: Let`s make a -- let`s make a distinction there.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, (UNINTELLIGIBLE) nothing to do -- nothing to do with the race.
BILLY: Right.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: It`s part of the human condition. It`s a character defect that, unfortunately, is somehow in the software. And we`ve got to erase it from the software.
Stuart Brazell, you wanted to say something?
BRAZELL: Yes, you know, with social media, I think when we see things like what happens with the Trevor Project, where you can build such love and support, and there`s so much good that can be done with social media. And it`s a shame when people hide behind their hash tags and their Twitter handles and attack people.
I think it`s also crazy to see with such powerful movies like "12 Years a Slave" and "The Butler," I feel like these should be eye-opening for people and to really change the way that they do things. And instead you see this kind of reaction. I`m disgusted.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: I`m wondering if this is part of the curse of the reality show, though. Tamera and her sister had a reality show. You know, in essence, you let everyone into your home, metaphorically speaking, and you`re going to get a lot of very ugly guests. And I just want to get somebody`s reaction on that. Maybe Tanya Miller.
MILLER: Well, I mean,, I think that might be part of it. But I also think that, you know, it`s ironic that we have our first African-American president in this country, and that we have made all of these different strides towards the appearance of racial equality and a post-racial society.
And I think part of that gives people license, or the feeling that they can say these things, because, look, you know, we`ve got a black president. So if I want to say something, or if I want to challenge someone, or if I want to have these beliefs, it`s almost like a safety to say that now.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Sure. It`s like a post-feminist era, where feminists don`t have to think they don`t have to be...
MILLER: Exactly.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Women don`t think they have to be feminists anymore, and they`re walking around talking about being their husband`s helpmate.
MILLER: Exactly.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: And they don`t realize how they`re setting the entire gender back.
Riona (ph), Kentucky, what have you got to say? Riona (ph), Kentucky.
CALLER: Yes, ma`am, I wanted to call and let you all know, this is nothing that has been in the back lot. This is in the spotlight every day.
I have an interrelationship with my husband. He`s white; I`m black. We have had to file a federal lawsuit against the county that I live in due to racism. We see it every day. I have biracial children. I`ve had signs hung up in my neighborhood. My kids hanging -- pictures of them hanging from trees. I understand exactly what she`s going through. I deal with it every day of my life. And I just want to know -- just to be strong and hang in there, and love will prevail.
BILLY: Absolutely.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, Riona (ph), thank you for sharing your truth. And that is equally, if not more disturbing.
I want to thank Tamera for talking about it. Because it would have been very easy for her to say, "Oh, I`m not -- it`s embarrassing, or whatever," and she -- we`re only as sick as our secrets. She talked about it. She let it out, and now we`re having an honest conversation about it. And hopefully, we can move past. I pray. Let`s move past this.
We`ve got bigger problems in life -- OK? -- than hating each other. It boggles my mind that people still think this way in this day and age. Let`s move away from hatred toward love.
And speaking of hatred, Jodi Arias, convicted killer, headed back to court. Breaking news about her retrial. A big, big, big, big development. It`s happening again, next.

ARIAS (singing): I might change my memory.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Oh, lord. She`s back.
The news we`ve all been waiting for, it is now official. Jodi Arias will be retried to decide if she lives or is executed. So mark your calendars, because March 17, a brand-new jury will be chosen to decide Jodi`s fate. This jury will decide if she should get life in prison or the death penalty for stabbing her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander, 29 times, slitting his throat ear to ear, six inches across, and shooting him in the face for good measure.
Here`s my rant. A special message to the judge. Do not let Jodi hijack the retrial. Do not let Jodi put the victim, Travis Alexander, on trial again. Don`t let Jodi take the stand for 18 days and accuse him of being a pedophile or a sexual pervert with no proof. OK? Travis Alexander is the victim here.
Jodi`s testimony needs to be limited and not include any of these ridiculous, absurd accusations from the first go-around. We all remember those.

ARIAS (via phone): I sounds like what?
TRAVIS ALEXANDER, MURDER VICTIM (via phone): A 12-year-old girl having her first orgasm.
ARIAS (on camera): I walked in, and Travis was on the bed (EXPLETIVE DELETED). There was a picture of a little boy.
And he lifted up my skirt. He began to have anal sex with me.
I kind of just said through clenched teeth stop, stop, stop.
And he body slammed me on the floor at the foot of his bed. He said, "Don`t act like that hurts." He called me a (EXPLETIVE DELETED) and kicked me in the ribs.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: What is this new trial going to look like? Is Jodi going to be able to get back on the stand and spew 18 days` worth of lies again?
Our fantastic Lion`s Den debate panel has new inside information. We begin with KTHO reporter Jose Miguel live in Phoenix, site of the retrial.
Miguel, you`ve got your finger on the pulse of the jury pool. What are you learning and hearing tonight?
JOSE MIGUEL, KTHO REPORTER: Well, Jane, people are telling me that they are so angry at this situation. They are tired as taxpayers to support this woman, to keep paying more and more money towards this trial. They`re looking for a resolution. They want a resolution, not only in this case, but they want it for this family. They`re tired of the Alexander family being dragged through the dirt, if you will, because of this case.
And I actually tweeted and sent some messages out to my Facebook people, and almost 90 percent, I would say, all said they would like to see Jodi Arias put to death. And even though they know that she could still get an appeal process going if she`s put on death row, they want her to receive the ultimate punishment. They saw this as something that was premeditated, totally planned out. And they feel like Jodi`s been manipulating people too long.
I say, doing the same thing over and over again is insanity. What are we going to do different this time around? Obviously there could be a repeat of the fierce confrontations the first trial brought. Prosecutor Juan Martinez, feisty Juan, of course, we don`t know, hammered Jodi about her memory, quote unquote, of Travis` brutal death.

JUAN MARTINEZ, PROSECUTOR: Were you crying when you were shooting him?
ARIAS: I don`t remember.
MARTINEZ: Were you crying when you were stabbing him?
ARIAS: I don`t remember.
MARTINEZ: How about when you cut his throat, were you crying then?
ARIAS: I don`t know.
MARTINEZ: So take a look then. You`re the one that did this, right?
ARIAS: Yes.
MARTINEZ: And you`re the same individual that lied about all this, right?
ARIAS: Yes.
The jury heard in excruciating detail about Travis` gruesome murder. If the jury didn`t give her the death penalty then after seeing those gruesome crime scene photos over and over and hearing about her slitting his throat, what the heck does the prosecution have to do differently to get the death penalty now?
Jordan Rose, you`re an attorney in Phoenix. You`re very close to all the principals involved. They`ve got to do something different, because prosecutor Martinez gave it his all and did not get the death penalty the first time around.
JORDAN ROSE, ATTORNEY: I think you`re right, Jane. They obviously need to do something different. And I think the focus will be much clearer and crisper, because it will be a shorter deliberation. And the focus will be on the heinous nature of the crime and the fact that it was entirely pre-planned.
In addition to that, Jodi will not be on the stand for 18 straight days establishing a love affair with this jury. And I don`t mean that they all fell in absolute love with Jodi, but certainly, it has got to be more difficult to vote to put someone to death who you have sat within feet of for 18 days, learning intimate details of her life.
As you said, this judge was not going to allow this jury to be hijacked again by Jodi Arias. And that is going to be the difference.
ARIAS: But how do you stop it?
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Anahita.
SEDAGHATFAR: Right. I totally disagree with that, Jane.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: How do you stop it?
SEDAGHATFAR: Jane, I totally disagree with that. Because on the one hand, I understand why the prosecution didn`t want to offer her some plea deal. They wanted to move forward with the death penalty. That`s what the Alexander family wanted.
But this trial is going to be longer than the previous trial, because they`re going to have to impanel a whole new jury. They`re going to have to present all of this evidence all over again.
And you can bet Jodi Arias is going to take the stand, and she`s going to talk and talk and talk for as long as she wants, because her life is on the line. And the judge is going to give her that leeway.
And it`s not, Jane, just because she`s a narcissist or she wants to hear herself speak...
VELEZ-MITCHELL: No, she`s also a liar. She`s a liar.
SEDAGHATFAR: She wants to talk about the fact that she was abused.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: She wasn`t abused. She was not abused.
SEDAGHATFAR: ... that decision -- but she`s -- the jurors will make that determination.
(CROSSTALK)
VELEZ-MITCHELL: On the other side, someone who has intimate knowledge of this case, knows it backward and forward like no one else, and she`s going to talk about the strategy of one, next.

ARIAS (via phone): I love it when you grab my butt. That was nice. But you only do it, like, when you`re trying to prove a point to somebody else.
ALEXANDER: That`s not true. You cannot say that I don`t work that booty.
ARIAS: Never mind. You do know how to work the booty.

ARIAS: After he was done, he dropped something near me and got into his car and left. And so I picked up whatever it was he dropped and took it inside to find out what it was.
KIRK NURMI, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: What was it?
ARIAS: It was Toblerone.
NURMI: So he ejaculated on your face and brought you some candy?
ARIAS: Pretty much.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Oh, that was the famous oral sex and Toblerone comment.
Here`s another reason to be furious tonight. Jodi is tweeting from behind bars how to buy bracelets that she`s selling to fund her appeal. Jodi tweeted, "The only wristbands that are legit and that I endorse are the white ones being sold" -- I don`t want to repeat the Web site. Let`s get off of that. I don`t want to repeat her Web site; I don`t want to help her sell these things.
Yes. These bracelets go for a whopping 25 bucks each, and say things like "Free Jodi" and "Justice for Jodi." She`s also selling her art, OK? Thirty-nine dollars per sketch. She`s got a whole bunch of them on her Web site.
Tanya Miller, defense attorney, former federal prosecutor, I thought that once you`re convicted, there`s a law against profiting off of crime.
MILLER: Well, you`re right. It`s usually state by state, so you have to look at each state`s laws to see exactly the parameters of the law.
But the question becomes really, is she profiting off of the crime, or is she just making a profit while she`s in jail? I think profiting off of the crime might be something a little bit different than making a profit from some trinket that she`s made in jail or some painting that she`s made in jail.
And to go back to your earlier point about whether or not this is going to be an easier run for the prosecutor, or a more difficult run for the prosecutor.
I frankly think that, notwithstanding those -- the 90 percent of those folks that say they hate her and she should get the death penalty.
It`s one thing to ask your opinion or survey informally, and everybody hates Jodi Arias. I mean, that`s easy to say. It`s quite another thing to be sworn as a jury, sworn to decide life or death for somebody, and to make that decision to end their life.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: And you bring me to my point. I`ve got to jump in. Beth Karas, former prosEcutor analyst, is on the phone with us. You have talked about a strategy of one, a defense strategy of one. What do you mean?
BETH KARAS, HLN LEGAL ANALYST (via phone): Well, all the jury has to -- all the defense has to do, Jane, is focus on one juror, because if there is a hung jury at this phase, the second time around, that`s it for the state of Arizona. They get two shots at the death penalty.
So if the defense can convince one juror, so the vote is 11-1, maybe 11 for death, 1 for life, then it`s a life sentence.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: So that`s the defense strategy. Find one person on the jury that she can make gaga eyes at, and do her little eye batting, and that`s it. Game, set, match. It`s a tough road for the prosecution. It`s going to be a fascinating case. March 17th it starts.
We expected big things from the Golden Globes. Tia Fey and Amy Poehler delivered. But what a weird night. I mean, what were these people drinking? We`re going to show you some of the craziest things. Holiday hotness, Golden Globe style. What`s going on with P. Diddy?

JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL, HLN HOST: Tonight`s big story, #HollywoodHotMess. We all know celebrities are no strangers to going off the rails in public. Last night`s Golden Globes awards was a perfect live demo of that.
Tina Fey, Amy Poehler en fuego as second-time hosts. Who says women aren`t funny? Eat it. The comic duo took swings at everybody from George Clooney`s taste in younger women, calling Julie Louie Dreyfuss a diva, accused Jonah Hill of wearing prosthetic genitals in "The Wolf of Wall Street". It was so much fun.
Not only was the show full of sizzling A-Listers, but bizarre train wreck moments, crazy moments. Amy Poehler celebrated her win by making out with Bono. Oh, yes, I like that. That was fun.
Emma Thompson showed up bare foot drinking a martini. And then she said, I`m going to chuck my heels. But the night`s most cringe-worthy moment goes to rapper P. Diddy`s speech bomb. He pulled a Kanye crashing an acceptance speech to tell the crowd he partied with the winner on a boat in St. Bart`s -- bragging. Watch this.
P. DIDDY, RAPPER: He was on a boat with me partying at St. Bart`s. And now here we are together.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He came up from behind me and unbuttoned my jacket and said, "Let it flow. Let it flow, let it flow.

DIANA MADISON, TV HOST: It was a big mess over there. I mean, I thought P. Diddy posted a picture of Bono later on. Where you know --
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Go for it. I guess we`re -- comes in the water with us too. Well just continue on, Diana.
MADISON: I was going to say P. Diddy posted a picture later on at the Golden Globes with Bono to claim, you know, to make sure that people know that there`s no bad feelings between them. So, you know, that was interesting to see.
But other than that, I was at the red carpet. And it was -- from the beginning it was a big mess. From there being water on the red carpet to Emma Thompson running bare foot on the carpet to later the show`s stars getting drunk and getting on stage and making weird comments. Teleprompter not working, it was a big mess -- it was a hot mess.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, I`d say there are two kinds of award shows, one where you get to drink, and one where you don`t. I don`t drink and I know Michael Billy doesn`t either. But obviously some of these people were drinking.
MICHAEL BILLY, TV AND RADIO HOST: I was going to say --
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes. Go ahead.
BILLY: Jane -- this is one of the reasons why we don`t drink. I mean my goodness. I have to say, it did look fun. My goodness. Look, they`re fighting for ratings -- that`s one thing. And as an actor, you know I do a couple of movies. I`m around actors a lot. Here`s a lesson to be learned. They`re not all eloquent, they don`t all know what to say when there`s no script and there`s no teleprompter. There`s the big awakening for people.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Speaking of no teleprompter, things got super awkward. I want to play this Bisset clip and then we`ll get to you because this was hysterical. Best supporting actress winner, Jacqueline Bisset delivered an extremely strange speech. She paused dramatically. She dropped curse words. She gave beauty advice.

Stuart Brazell, is this just a case of too much chardonnay?
STUART BRAZELL, POP CULTURE EXPERT: I think that there was something in the water over there, and it was alcohol. But I have to say, the weird thing, the TV people always have to sit so far from the stage, so most of their speeches are taken up by just trying to get there. She just seemed very confused backstage. She talked about how she hadn`t even gotten her entre yet.
So I think she was kind of a mix of floating, winning a Globe, not really knowing what was going on. But she had a great time.
BILLY: Come on. Come on. You`re being too nice.
BRAZELL: This is what makes the Globes fun is watching something like this. And then Diane Keaton singing the Girl Scout Cookie Song.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Oh yes, we`re going to get to that.
This was one of the -- my favorite weird moment, the Golden Globes, honored Woody Allen with a lifetime achievement award. Even though he hates awards shows -- he never shows up at them. So Diane Keaton who has done so many films with him, gets up and of all things the controversy surrounding Woody Allen, she decides to sing a children`s song. Listen to this.

BILLY: So creepy. Oh, my goodness. And I love her. But how wacky and she`s always been wacky. But this is the problem. You`ve got too many "yes" people around you when you`re in Hollywood.

BILLY: I love my fiance because he always tells me when I`m doing something crazy before my crazy happens in public. That`s what she needs.
BRAZELL: It felt like she was doing like a monologue, or auditioning for, like, a middle school musical. Like it was so strange -- the whole thing was bizarre.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: I think when people get to a certain level of stardom, they are so taken with themselves that they really think they can do anything, and we`re just going to just eat it up and embrace it and say that was fabulous. No, we`re not.
Ok? We`re talking Hollywood hot mess, Justin Bieber #Hollywoodhotmessextraordinaire. It involves eggs that he wasted in a war with his neighbor. And he`s in big trouble.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: More #Hollywoodhotmess, Justin Bieber accused of throwing eggs at his neighbor`s house. And we`re now hearing the star is not talking to detectives who are investigating this case.
I am over this punk. There are 19-year-old kids just like him, but without the fame and money, and the power who have been thrown into juvie for the very same thing. I don`t care that he`s a rich celebrity. He`s not above this law. If he did egg this house and cause $20,000 in damage as TMZ is reporting tonight, that is a felony.
The cops should come down hard on him because if history is any judge, it can get a lot worse. He`s been accused of reckless driving. He`s got Ferraris and all sorts of fancy sports cars. He could kill somebody.
Crack down on the Biebs now before something really horrible happens - - far beyond egging a house.
Straight out to my buddy TMZ news manager, Mike Walters and you broke this story. What do you know?
MIKE WALTERS, TMZ NEWS MANAGER: Well, Jane, you have to realize, this is the same neighbor, remember, that Justin Bieber allegedly spit on in an altercation earlier this year. So there`s bad blood in this neighborhood, and these people, this is a very exclusive, expensive neighborhood outside the L.A. area, that these people pay a lot of money to live in these neighborhoods. You guys heard it on tape. This is the first time that there`s actual physical evidence, the eggs, and you can hear Justin Bieber`s voice as he talks about throwing eggs against this gentleman`s house.
Just like you said, Jane, guess what, he can be a punk all he wants. When you break the law, and there`s physical evidence, and audio of your voice, when you`re doing $20,000 worth of damage, you could go to jail. And the problem with Justin Bieber is that`s how these celebrities learn the hard way, when they do something this dumb, and they get arrested. That`s what happens.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: But Mike, you know, I love you, and you always break all these stories, but let`s face it, there are so many celebs who get away with stuff that other people would be locked up for. You know, just a back story here, he`s been throwing wild parties and the police keep coming. So obviously he doesn`t have a great relationship with his neighbors. They probably don`t like the fact that he throws these wild parties.
It sounds crazy but these people say they are being terrorized by pop star Justin Bieber.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: This is Lindsay Lohan all over again. For years she was treated like she was above the law. Every week it seemed like she was in the court for something else. She cried and she moaned, she got a slap on the wrist. She never did any hard time. Now we`ve got Richie Rich Justin Bieber.
Anahita Sedaghatfar, criminal defense attorney, you know, in Los Angeles, there are these stars who, oh, they get hauled in court and they cry in front of the judge. But as far as doing hard time, I have friends who have done more time than Lindsay Lohan for driving around town when they didn`t realize their license was expired.
ANAHITA SEDAGHATFAR, CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY: You`re so right about it, Jane. California doesn`t mess around when it comes to vandalism charges, because like your earlier guest just said, if the damage is $400 or more, that is a felony in California. And he can go to jail for one to three years. That`s no joke.
But let`s be honest, I mean, you`ve addressed this. This is a multi- millionaire. He is famous. He has all the money in the world to hire the best attorneys in L.A. And actually, Biebs, if you haven`t hired a lawyer, you can call me.
I just don`t think he`s going to get any jail time.

SEDAGHATFAR: He is going to probably have to pay a fine. And then get probation.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: And I`ve got a message. I lived in L.A. For 18 years. I`ve got a message for the prosecutor. Take this seriously and throw one of these stars -- pick them, Justin Bieber -- in jail because they`re making a mockery of the criminal justice system. I`ve personally with my own eyes living in L.A. have seen so called gang bangers, i.e., poor kids spread eagled on the ground for walking around with a can of beer -- spread-eagled.
Justin Bieber on the ground, treat him the way you would treat any kid from the inner city. Ok? Because these stars, Lindsay Lohan, Justin Bieber and the rest of them are turning the L.A. Criminal justice system into a big fat joke. Do something. More on the other side.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Hey, little Rico, tonight our Animal Investigations Unit takes on a Texas club that claims their raising money by killing a rhinoceros. The group is auctioning off a license to kill which is a ridiculous notion. You don`t kill in order to save rhinos. You don`t kill rhinos to save rhinos. Give me a break.
The Dallas Safari Club got $350,000 for a permit to hunt a black rhino in Africa. Black rhinos are classified as critically endangered. Duh -- there`s only 5,000 of them left on earth, mostly in Namibia. Hunting is illegal but poachers, of course, get lots of money on the black market because there are morons out there that rhino horns have some medicinal value, which they don`t. So they slaughter these animals for no reason at all because of ignorance. The club claims that all the money is going to be donated to the Namibian government for rhino conservation. Are you kidding me? You`re killing a rhino.
They also say they`re only going to hunt only the older males. So I guess it`s ok if you only kill the older males. First of all -- what a cowardly act; the whole thing is ridiculous. Listen to this.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: If you want to save a species, don`t kill members of the species. If you people had good hearts, you would just donate the money to rhino conservation efforts without going out there and cowardly shooting a tired old rhino who is a very big fat target. This is perverse.

CHRISTOPHER GERVAIS, WILDLIFE CONSERVATION FILM FESTIVAL: Jane, it`s as you said. The rhino, black rhino, has less perhaps than 5,000 animals left in the entire continent of Africa. You do not kill a critically endangered species to save that species.
In fact, if you want to donate money as this club says they will do, there are dozens of organizations that are out there specifically to promote rhino conservation, and that`s where the money should be going to.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: All right. Well, hopefully, just tell us one. Who would you think we should donate to?
GERVAIS: An excellent organization is the IRF, International Rhino Fund, which is the executive director is Dr. Suzie Ellis, and they manage all five species of rhino -- all of which are critically endangered.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: All right, great. So I just wanted to get that out. IRF, not IRS -- IRF International Rhino Fund -- if you want to help, that`s the way to do it. You know, controversy erupted when TV host Melissa Bachman posted a picture on her Facebook page of a lion she has just killed. And it included the caption "An incredible day of hunting trip in South Africa."
I am ashamed of you, lady. Look at this beautiful male lion. This kind of hunting is senseless and cruel. This is what, so her ego can be satisfied to put something on a wall?
I mean Christopher, we only have a couple seconds left, but what is behind this kind of trophy hunting, what kind of sick thought process?
GERVAS: It`s as you said. It`s ego hunting, it`s vanity, it`s getting your picture taken with an animal that you just killed so you can show your friends. Other than that, as you said, it`s pointless and --
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Shame on you. Shame on you and the good people of America most of whom condemn this -- stand up and speak for the rhinos that are living. The IRF, International Rhino Fund. Go there and help them out. You don`t have to kill to save -- quite the opposite. Au contraire, right, Rico?
