(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: We caught up with the extraordinary nurses behind that video and gave them a huge surprise.

Then there`s this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, my gosh.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: The twerk fail hoax that literally lit up the Internet. The stunt woman who stars in the video reveals the real deal behind the epic prank.

This special edition of SBT starts right now.

Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer. Thank you for watching. This is a special edition of SBT, "15 Minutes of Fame." So we`re counting down the top ten people we brought you this year who became famous overnight.

And kicking things off at No. 10. It`s the brave surprise that had us grinning so much it hurt.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

(MUSIC: SARA BAREILLES` "BRAVE")

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That music video cover of Sara Bareilles` smash hit "Brave" was created by two nurses at the University of Minnesota Amplatz Children`s Hospital. We caught up with those nurses, Natalie Snyder and Brittany Bloemke, as well as Sarah Ewald, who`s one of the 20 patients who are seen in the video.

These three amazing young women told Nischelle Turner, entertainment correspondent for CNN`s "NEW DAY," why they made this super inspirational video and, in the end, we had a big surprise for them.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

NISCHELLE TURNER, CNN ENTERTAINMENT CORRESPONDENT: Sarah, you are battling cancer for now the second time. We see you in the video. You remove your wig. You dance. It`s just pure joy. Can we watch -- let`s watch a little bit of that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

(MUSIC: SARA BAREILLES` "BRAVE")

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: Such a great moment. Now Sarah, you seem really inspired by the Sara Bareilles song. So if you could talk to her about why she made this song, what would you say to her if you could talk to her?

SARAH EWALD, PATIENT: I mean, just it is a really inspiring song for many different reasons. And I mean, it can be inspiring to anyone, no matter what you`re going through.

TURNER: Sarah -- Sarah, hold on. Hold on one second. Can you hold on one second for me? Hold on one second.

EWALD: Yes.

TURNER: Because you know what? You don`t have to tell me what you`d say to Sara Bareilles, because guess who`s with us tonight, guys?

Sara Bareilles, can you see her? I love it. Say hello, everybody.

SARA BAREILLES, SINGER: Hi guys.

SNYDER: Hi, Sara.

TURNER: Oh, gosh. I love this. I love seeing the joy.

Now, Sarah, I want to ask you, because you were just telling me what you would say to Sara Bareilles. So if you can compose yourself a little bit, why don`t you continue and tell Sara Bareilles what you would say about what this song means to you?

EWALD: It means a lot to all of us. It kind of, like, gets some positive energy going, which helps a lot through everything. So...

TURNER: So Sara and Sara Bareilles -- We`ve got two Sarahs here, so I`m going to delineate who I`m talking to. Sara Bareilles, what do you have to say to these ladies about what they did with your song and making this video?

BAREILLES: You know, I was sent this video by a friend of a friend who lives in Minnesota. And -- and I watched it late night, and immediately, my eyes watered.

And it`s moments like this that remind me of the importance of music, and I can`t think of a more perfect sort of incarnation of this song. I know my writing partner, Jack, is over the moon about it, as well. And it`s exactly the kind of thing that gives the life to this song that we were hoping for.

And I`ve sent it to everybody I know. I tweeted it out. It`s so much fun to see. People keep sending it back to me, saying, "Have you seen this video? It`s incredible."

<23:05:09>

BAREILLES: And I know the video -- That`s a lot work, too. So you guys, it`s just so inspiring. It`s something I`m going to keep with me, near and dear to my heart forever and ever. So thank you for the gift of that.

TURNER: That gave me goosebumps, guys. Natalie and Brittany, what do you guys have to say to Sara Bareilles?

NATALIE SNYDER, NURSE WHO HELPED ORGANIZE MAKING OF VIDEO: Thank you so much. Like, this means the world to these kids, that you recognize this video and that you stood behind the mission of our video and what it meant; and that you stand behind how great our kids are. And I really think you`re amazing.

BRITTANY BLOEMKE, NURSE WHO HELPED ORGANIZE MAKING VIDEO: Your song is just so great. And I think being brave is so important in all aspects. I know that wasn`t your initial attention, to have a children`s hospital create a video of that, but we just couldn`t help but think it was so perfect to describe our kids. And it`s just amazing, so we thank you for your beautiful talent.

TURNER: Sara Bareilles, do you have a final word to these guys before we let everybody go?

BAREILLES: I`m choked up again. I just want to say thank you. I mean, you guys have no idea how this little act of yours that was, you know, something that was really made for a community that you`re a part of is just still going to impact the world in just massive, massive ways. So thank you for, you know, being -- being heartfelt there and being so courageous and so brave and sharing your story. It means the world to us.

And I feel so humbled that I got to be a little part of this story. And I send you guys all the love in the world. I wish you the best. And yes, thank you. And I hope the next time that I`m in the area I`m going to come by and say hi for real.

TURNER: Uh-oh.

EWALD: Yes. (UNINTELLIGIBLE)

TURNER: I love that.

SNYDER: You have a second home here at Amplatz.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: One of my favorite stories of the year.

Well, now onto No. 9 in our top ten "15 Minutes of Fame" countdown. This one could be a legend in the making. Can you imagine being plucked out of audience to sing a duet with a big Broadway star, and not just any duet but one from your favorite musical, "Wicked"? With the one and only Kristen Chenoweth who once starred in the Broadway show? Well, that is just what happened to Sarah Horn during Kristen`s concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KRISTEN CHENOWETH, ACTRESS/SINGER (singing): I have been changed for good.

(speaking): It`s all yours.

SARAH HORN, FAN OF "WICKED" (singing): It well may be that we will never meet again in this lifetime. So let me say before we part so much of me...

CHENOWETH: Sing it. Sing it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: How great. I spoke with Sarah Horn about this amazing experience. And I had to know how she felt taking the stage with her hero, Kristen Chenoweth.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

HORN: So exhilarating. Just watching the video, I still partly can`t believe that that happened to me. Things like this just don`t happen to me. To get called up onstage with my idol.

HAMMER: And here`s the deal. Kristin just pulled you up there. She had no idea that you`re a voice teacher who actually has got chops like that. She just, as you said, calls people up on stage and has them sing along, and you`re the one who got picked. Let`s watch some more.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CHENOWETH (singing): Because I knew you.

HORN (singing): Because I knew you.

CHENOWETH: Because I knew you I have been changed for good.

HORN: Changed for good.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, my gosh.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I mean, it`s just amazing to watch that. And from what I understand, you`re normally a pretty shy person. That is something I find very hard to believe. Did you hesitate for even a moment when you had the opportunity?

HORN: I hesitated for a split second when I heard her call me up. Because I thought she was going to be looking for plant in the audience. No, she was going to take the chance on a random audience member, and that happened to be me.

HAMMER: And how well that worked out. And listen, I -- I adore Kristen. She`s one of the nicest people in showbiz, as I`m sure you got that energy from her up there. You could really tell.

HORN: Definitely.

HAMMER: And where do you hope this all leads? I mean, are you getting calls from agents and people who want to sign you up?

HORN: I hope this leads to a performing career. Because I feel like I was born to sing. And I really hope this leads to another chance to sing with Kristen.

HAMMER: Well, Sarah, you clearly were born to sing. And we`re so glad you shared your voice with us and you joined us here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thank you so much.

HORN: Thank you so much for having me.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Our "15 Minutes of Fame" countdown is only getting more dramatic as we reveal the next contenders for the No. 1 spot. Right now it`s getting hot in here.

The epic twerk fail that literally sparked a fire storm. Daphne Avalon didn`t realize her viral video prank would make big headlines. So how did she deal with the instant fame?

<23:10:16>

HAMMER: Surprise, it`s Captain Kirk. William Shatner helped us surprise a Netflix rep whose love for "Star Trek" made him an Internet sensation. Wait until you see this guy`s reaction.

What`s going to be No. 1? This is a special edition of SBT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

<23:13:49>

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JASON MORTENSEN, RECOVERING FROM SURGERY: Did the doctor send you? Man, you are eye candy. Whoa. What`s your name?

CANDICE MORTENSEN, JASON`S WIFE: My name is Candice. I`m your wife.

S. MORTENSEN: You`re my wife?

C. MORTENSEN: Yes.

S. MORTENSEN: Holy (EXPLETIVE DELETED).

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: This man became an Internet star after posting this video of himself waking up from surgery with his lovely wife by his side. Only he didn`t realize she was his wife, but he still thought she was hot.

Welcome back to this special edition of SBT, "15 Minutes of Fame," where we are counting down the top ten people we brought you this year who became famous overnight.

And at No. 8, Jason Mortensen`s wild, rambling conversation with his wife, Candice, has been seen millions of times. When I just spoke with them, I asked if they ever imagined posting this video would get such a big reaction. You`ve got to watch what they told me.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

C. MORTENSEN: We just wanted to share it with everyone, because we thought it was so funny that others might enjoy it.

HAMMER: Well, you were absolutely right. I mean, look at you guys. You`re not only YouTube sensations but big TV stars, too. Let`s take a look at Jason seeing you for the very first time.

<23:15:07>

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

J. MORTENSEN: Did the doctor send you? Man, you are eye candy. Whoa. You`re the prettiest woman I`ve ever seen. Are you a model?

C. MORTENSEN: Nope. I`m going to be right here with you. You eat the cracker.

J. MORTENSEN: Who are you? What`s your name?

C. MORTENSEN: My name is Candice. I`m your wife.

J. MORTENSEN: You`re my wife?

C. MORTENSEN: Yes.

J. MORTENSEN: Holy (EXPLETIVE DELETED).

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right, Jason. We`re going to excuse the profanity, because you were all doped up, after all, but how much of that do you actually remember?

J. MORTENSEN: Well, I don`t remember any of it. The first recollection I had was when the nurse was taking us to the car, and she said, "You`re a great singer."

And I looked at my wife, and I said, "What is she talking about?" So...

HAMMER: I`ve actually had that experience. I was once told after I came out of anesthesia I was saying some pretty wild things which, for some reason, they didn`t want to repeat to me. Made me a little uncomfortable.

But how did you feel about the world getting to see you like that? Obviously, it was your choice to put the tape out there.

J. MORTENSEN: You know, it was totally unexpected. We put it up there for family and friends. I was really hesitant to even put it online, because I swore. And we did, and when 2,000 people saw it we thought, "We don`t know that many people, so who`s watching this?" And it hit 10,000, and now it`s in millions. And it`s been unbelievable.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Yes, everybody watched it.

All right, coming in now at No. 7, a rock star wedding toast.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Tom Fletcher is the lead vocalist and guitarist with the British pop rock band McFly. They`ve sold over 10 million records worldwide. But it was his ode to his entire bridal party, his parents, his in-laws and his wife that gained him a whole new level of fame.

Tom posted it on YouTube for family and friends who couldn`t be there, and the rest is viral video history. Take a look.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TOM FLETCHER, POP SINGER (singing): So here`s my speech, but really it`s just a song or two. And this one should make you smile. It`s all about you

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, my God.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It`s all about you. It`s all about you, baby. It`s all about you. It`s all about you, baby.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It`s all about you. It`s all about you, baby. It`s all about you. It`s all about you, baby.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It`s all about you. It`s all about you, baby. It`s all about you. It`s all about you, baby.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. Now, Tom, I don`t know if you can appreciate the chills that we got when that moment happened in the video. Not only do you promise your new wife that you would answer all of her wishes, you bring in the children`s choir. I mean, come on. This was unbelievable.

Where in the world did this amazing idea come from?

FLETCHER: Well, basically, I`m genuinely terrible and terrified of public speaking. And I was -- I was trying to write a normal speech, and I was on tour with my band in the U.K. And, you know, I had written this speech out, and I was trying to rehearse it in hotel rooms on tour. And I couldn`t get through it even when I was on my own. So I was desperately trying to find another way to do it.

And then I just thought, you know, I can`t speak in front of people, but I`m OK singing in front of people. So maybe I`d try -- try doing it as a song. And that -- that just seems to be, you know, it was the easy option to do it that way.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Really cool story.

We`re picking up speed as we count down the top ten people SBT brought you this year who became famous overnight. The battle for No. 1 brings us a flashback from the hit movie "Mean Girls." I`m guessing you love the film, too, but can you recite every word in 30 minutes? Meet the man who can.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CHRIS ROSA, INTERN: (UNINTELLIGIBLE)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: This guy is incredible. Chris Rosa became the most infamous intern for his super-speed "Mean Girls" viral video.

Plus, Bruno`s girl. The talented teenager who turned into a star after inviting singer Bruno Mars to her prom. What will be No. 1?

This is a special edition of SBT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

<23:22:41>

HAMMER: Right now on SBT, "Geico`s 15 Minutes of Fame."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

EMILY TORRES, SEEKING PROM DATE (SINGING): Bruno, go to prom with me. A junior prom with me. (UNINTELLIGIBLE)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Emily Torres is the talented teenager whose singing invitation to Bruno Mars won our hearts, and it got Bruno`s attention, too. SBT introduced you to Emily right after her singing prom invitation made her an overnight star.

She`s No. 6 on our countdown.

Emily was just 16 when instant fame hit. She sang a song asking Bruno Mars to be her prom date. Well, he couldn`t make it, but he did make up for it by buying her a $4,500 Gucci dress to wear to the big dance. Emily told us all about her amazing Bruno Mars-sponsored night.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: You took the cutout of Bruno to the prom with you. How did that go over? Was that a hit? Was everybody asking to dance with Bruno? How did that work out?

TORRES: Actually, we got to go in this big circle and one of my friends, like, ran around with the circle with the cutout, and like they played "Go to Heaven." So it was really funny.

HAMMER: That`s a fun, fun idea. And I have to say -- and if we could put up the picture again, Charles -- you look stunning in this Gucci dress.

TORRES: Thank you.

HAMMER: I mean, you look like a model here at your prom.

TORRES: Thank you.

HAMMER: I have to imagine you felt like the queen of the prom, even if you weren`t actually the queen of the prom.

TORRES: Oh, you know. No, no, it was fun, you know. I didn`t want it to be all about me, because it was other people`s junior prom, so -- but it was fun.

HAMMER: Tell me how that worked out. Because obviously, you`ve been getting so much attention, and people wanted to see you and hear the reaction. But was it able to be a, shall we say, balanced prom? Because I was feeling for you a little bit with all the attention at the same time.

TORRES: Yes, it was great. Like, you know, people did stare, but I was like, you know, but it was cool, yes. I actually had the best time of my life.

HAMMER: Well, the cool thing through this whole journey, among the many cool things, is you got to meet Bruno on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," and with that Gucci dress that he bought you. And I understand and was so pleased to hear this. You want to pay your kindness forward. So what`s your big plan for the dress?

TORRES: Yes. There`s a local kid here. His name is Colin Vani, and he has cancer. And it`s called clear cell sarcoma cancer. He actually had to have, like, a kidney removed and stuff. And I wanted to end this story on something, like, positive and nice and not only tie both of our stories together, but like just, you know, keep it positive. Yes, it`s on EBay.

<23:25:17>

HAMMER: Oh, good.

TORRES: The dress is on EBay and you can bid on it. And we`re going to give all the money to him and his family.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: The auction of Emily`s dress has since ended, but she did raise a whole bunch of money for that brave kid fighting cancer in her town.

All right. We`re at the halfway point in our "15 Minutes of Fame" countdown. The people that we brought you this year who became famous overnight. It`s easy to see why.

The twerk fail hoax. Stunt woman Daphne Avalon had no idea she`d set the social media world on fire with her twerk fail video that turned out to be a hilarious prank.

Plus, the emotional home video that made us all lose it.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Grandpa?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, my gosh.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Some birthdays are more special than others.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh!! Oh!!

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: She`s going be grandma. The mother who totally loses it when she finds out she`s about to be grandma. Her reaction is priceless. How does she feel about becoming a bona fide Internet star?

What will be No. 1? This is a special edition of SBT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

<23:30:00>

HAMMER: Right now the "Top Ten Countdown," "15 Minutes of Fame." Captain Kirk himself, William Shatner, gets in on the action after a huge "Star Trek" fan becomes an overnight sensation. The guy is a customer rep at Netflix. His claim to fame: speaking Trekkie like nobody`s business. It`s what happened next that boosted this story into another galaxy.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, my gosh.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

<23:30:00>

HAMMER: Oh, yes, it was the twerk fail hoax that fooled the nation. Now, at first most people believe this girl just tripped her way into viral video fame. Then the wild revelation, it was all a set up. So, woman Daphne Avalon had no idea she`d set the social media world on fire. So was her overnight fame too hot to handle?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Grandpa.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, my gosh! It`s amazing.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Some birthdays are more special than others.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: (SCREAMING)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: What a surprise. It`s the mother who totally loses it when she finds out she is about to be a grandma. So, what will be number one on our countdown? This special edition of "SBT" continues right now.

Welcome back. Thanks for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer. This is a special edition of "SBT," 15 minutes of fame. We are counting down the top ten people we`ve brought you this year who became famous overnight.

And our number five, a Trekkie`s dream come true. Thanks to Netflix. Netflix customer service rep Mike Mears won Internet fame for conducting an entire online service chat with a customer using Star Trek speak. Mears and the customer chatted, as if they were crew members trying to fix the starship Enterprise. Well, the chat was posted online and it quickly became a hit. So, we had Mears on by a Skype to discuss his Internet fame. What we didn`t tell him was that he was about to have an audience with Captain Kirk himself.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

NISCHELLE TURNER, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Mike, you are on "SBT" with Captain Kirk himself. William Shatner. Say hello.

MIKE MEARS: Hello, sir.

(LAUGHTER)

WILLIAM SHATNER: Speak up, Mike.

TURNER: I think he was talking - look at that face.

SHATNER: Mike speak up.

TURNER: Mike, are you freaking out here? Did you know that you were going to be talking to William Shatner today?

MEARS: I had no clue that Mr. Shatner is going to be here.

SHATNER: I was warned about you, Mike. They told me in advance, I`d be talking to a guy who has some command presence. I want to see it, Mike.

MEARS: Yes, sir.

(LAUGHTER)

MEARS: Sit up straight. Chin out. I said chin out. There you go. Hold it back. Look up high. Higher. Higher. Now fall over backwards.

TURNER: This is fantastic. Mike, you know, when you did this whole customer service thing, I want to ask you, did you have Captain Kirk in mind when you were talking to this man? Because that - were you trying to emulate William Shatner here?

MEARS: Maybe a little bit. A little bit.

(LAUGHTER)

TURNER: Bill, you know, if you got a guy like Mike on the line.

SHATNER: Yes.

TURNER: that we see there, what would you do, would you stay in character? What would you tell him?

SHATNER: You`d be in - well, I would just say, Mike, you`re looking good, handsome. I know one day you`ll grow up and be a terrific guy. In the meantime, study.

(LAUGHTER)

TURNER: Hard. Mike, what have your bosses at Neflix been telling you about this whole thing?

MEARS: They have just been congratulating me and thanking me for doing a good job.

TURNER: I can see you`re about to freak out here because Captain Kirk is sitting right here, talking to you. And I love that.

SHATNER: Was this your idea, Mike?

MEARS: Say it again, sir?

SHATNER: Was this your idea?

MEARS: The Captain Mike thing?

SHATNER: Yeah.

MEARS: Good for you.

TURNER: Well, you know, Mike`s not the only trekki around here.

SHATNER: He isn`t?

TURNER: No. Because I have a star trek connection myself.

SHATNER: What is your connection besides Nischelle?

TURNER: Well, I`m named after Lieutenant Uhura, Nischelle Nichols.

SHATNER: Are you really?

TURNER: Yes, I am. And if you didn`t remember, there was a little interracial love going on.

SHATNER: Hey, that`s one of my fondest memories.

TURNER: On "The Star Trek Enterprise".

(LAUGHTER)

TURNER: But I think it was so cool, you know, everyone kind of thinks it`s crazy when I tell them. They are like really? I`m like yes. Absolutely. And when I got to meet her, I was just like Mike. I could barely speak and I was so excited. It was really one of the neatest moments.

SHATNER: I think, Jimmy, you barely speaking is sort of beyond my imagination.

TURNER: I know. Hey, Mike, I want to ask you before we leave you, do you have anything else you want to say to William Shatner because I know that you`re probably going to take this memory with you?

MEARS: Thank you so much. I don`t know what to say.

(LAUGHTER)

SHATNER: It`s great, Mike. You`re doing wonderfully. Take care.

TURNER: I love it.

MEARS: Thank you, sir.

TURNER: I love this. I love this with him. Because he really is such a fan of yours that he doesn`t even know what to say. I mean you effect people like that all the time.

SHATNER: Do I?

TURNER: Yes, you do.

SHATNER: My wife says the same thing.

TURNER: See, see. This guy right here. Mike, you know, I do want you - if you have any questions for William Shatner, this is your chance. This is your opportunity. Because you probably won`t get this chance again.

MEARS: Did you know how big "Star Trek" was going to be when you started doing it?

SHATNER: Yes, Mike, I did. I forecast that 50 years later that I might be on HLN and speaking to a young man who is doing a Netflix promotion.

<23:35:10>

TURNER: Parody of you.

(LAUGHTER)

TURNER: He`s the greatest customer service representative of all time. Mike, that was great. We thank you so much for joining us today, Mike.

MEARS: Thank you so much for having me.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: It`s amazing that captain knew that in advance. Well, we continue our 15 minutes of fame countdown now with number four. It`s the twerk fail hoax that nearly fooled us.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, my gosh.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That looks like it should have hurt. This is so great. Last time I checked that twerk fail had been viewed more than 17 million times online. At first a lot of people did think it was real, but everyone later found out it was all engineered by the great Jimmy Kimmel and Daphne Avalon who is a real stunt woman. I spoke with Daphne about this epic twerk fail that really turned into one of the best pranks ever.

What I love about it, it is you have that other young woman in the video and her reaction to what happened. It`s just priceless. So many people were fooled because quite frankly it did look so authentic. The video is a lot of fun regardless of the truth. You know, the fact that it was a sham. But have people been giving you a grief for fooling them like that?

DAPHNE AVALON: Yeah, a little bit. A lot of people, I think, are bummed because they really thought it was true and no, it`s not.

(LAUGHTER)

HAMMER: I`ve got to tell you, I was on here from the start. But still, like I said, a lot of fun. I love every time I see it, and we learn that the whole thing was put together by Jimmy Kimmel. He exposed the prank on his show. I want to look at that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

(MUSIC)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, my gosh.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Ahhh!

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Thanks Jimmy Kimmel.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: All part of the job, ma`am.

(APPLAUSE)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That happens to everybody. Thanks, Jimmy Kimmel. Listen, Daphne, another part of the authenticity that fooled everybody was the fact that the whole thing did look like it was actually shot on a smartphone camera. I`ve actually been wondering this since the first I saw this, was it shot like on an iPhone or something or was it a whole big professional operation with lights and the whole deal?

AVALON: Oh, no, it was all on a laptop computer.

HAMMER: OK, so, - it was as authentic as it looks?

AVALON: Yep.

HAMMER: All, right, well, let me introduce you, Daphne, to my good friend comedian Michelle Buteau. She is also a cast member on "Best Week Ever" - on VH1. Now, Michelle, as I said.

MICHELLE BUTEAU: Hey, girl.

HAMMER: I was on to them from the start, but did you think it was a hoax from the beginning?

MICHELLE BUTEAU, COMEDIEENE, VH1`S "BEST WEEK EVER": Oh, my god. I thought it was real. I was like oh my God, these poor little white girls are hurting themselves twerking.

(LAUGHTER)

BUTEAU: It should be in their like insurance plan. It was so real. Where did you learn how to twerk like that, girl?

AVALON: I had never twerked actually before that video. I had some friends actually help me. And I also was self-taught off of YouTube videos.

BUTEAU: Now has this changed your life, this twerk fail?

AVALON: Definitely. I never in a million years imagined especially, you know, being a stunt woman, nothing ever gets you this kind of attention. It`s been kind of crazy, incredible and fun. A lot of fun.

HAMMER: So, when you go to a party, Daphne, is everybody now asking you to, you know, do the whole deal, you know, go up against the door and then fall over, maybe without the fire part of it?

AVALON: No. Thankfully they haven`t asked me to do that. And - but I`ve had some people ask me if I could teach them how to twerk. Although I`m not really an authority on it. Just because I think I`m like a new twerker.

HAMMER: I think you are an authority. And now, quite frankly, you`re one of the few people who knows what it`s like to be sprayed with a fire extinguisher. Daphne, it`s been great having you here. Thank you so much.

AVALON: Thank you.

All right. This "15 Minutes of Fame" countdown is getting more dramatic by the minute. Still ahead, it`s the emotional home video that went crazy viral.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Grandpa?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh my gosh.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Some birthdays are more special than others.

HAMMER: Holy - I mean you couldn`t have scripted it for a moment. It almost looks fake but as you continue to watch, you know, I know that`s really your mom. And it`s obviously getting - it`s getting a whole lot of attention today.

<23:45:00>

HAMMER: Our "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT" producers just love watching you, Hope. And let`s all watch a bit more of you on that video. Roll it.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: So, what you`re saying, Hope, is you`re so excited. So, when you saw the video back, how surprised were you at your own reaction?

BARTHELSON: Pretty surprised.

(LAUGHTER)

BARTHELSON: Didn`t really remember anything. We got a - what are you talking about? So, I didn`t remember a lot of it, other than my - the dog, which is not my dog. It`s their dog. And they came to visit including the dog, so that`s why I said the dog will have come to live with us. Because enough room.

HAMMER: Well, you needed to hug everybody in sight. Has it sunk into you yet that you`re going to be a grandma?

BARTHELSON: Oh, I`m getting so ready. I have a bassinet. I have a new car that will - held of a stroller. I have one of those pack and play things. I have - even a stroller. She has to catch up.

ASHLEY KRAUTER: Yeah, I have barely anything.

MICHAEL KRAUTER: Nothing.

HAMMER: And Michael you`re just smiling it along. You had such a steady hand shooting that video, so I want to see your mother-in-law`s reaction when in fact it is time to have that child and the baby arrives in this world. Will you shoot that for us and share it with us?

MICHAEL KRAUTER: Absolutely. We can make that happen.

(LAUGHTER)

HAMMER: Share the reaction with us. You have to share the actual birth. We just want to see her face.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Well, of course, the baby is here by now. We`re pretty sure that Hope is enjoying being a grandma. Pretty exciting.

Well, from ecstatic granny to mean girls. Number two on our "SHOWBIZ" countdown, the fastest mouth in Hollywood.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CHRISTOPHER ROSA: I`m Christopher Rosa (ph) and (inaudible) I`ll be reciting "Mean Girls" in less than 30 minutes. Don`t believe me. Just watch.

(INAUDIBLE)

HAMMER: Chris Rosa is a 20-year-old motor mouth who became famous overnight with his "Mean Girls" miracle. Can you believe this guy can actually recite every single line for "Mean Girls" in less than 30 minutes? Well, "SBT" asked Chris to slow down just for a few minutes to find out how this corky talent became a hit. You have got to hear what he told CNN entertainment correspondent Nischelle Turner.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CHRIS ROSA: I`ve been doing it for like a year and a half now and I sort of told my friends that I can do it and they laughed at me because it is pretty bizarre. So, I told my bosses that MTV next movie, that I could do this and they thought it would be a really awesome idea for a video and asked if I would be comfortable doing it. And I was totally game to do it. So, yeah, that`s sort of how it came about.

TURNER: It really is amazing. Can we take a little - more look a little bit more, please, because I can`t get enough. Let`s look.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ROSA: What is this? All right, Erin (inaudible), please call me. You dirty little liar. Yes, can I still have a (inaudible)? Did you have an awesome time? Like you`re so innocent. You`re in love with me or something. (INAUDIBLE)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TURNER: I have got to ask you, how many times have you seen that movie?

ROSA: Oh, boy, I mean I definitely am a fan of the movie. I`d say over the past nine years, I`ve seen it about 100 times.

TURNER: Oh, wow.

ROSA: Maybe like 10 to 15 times a year. I`m a big fan of the movie for sure.

TURNER: Yeah, OK, let me put you to the challenge here, OK? I want you to recite your favorite part of "Mean Girls", but I want you to do it in 30 seconds. I`m going to put a countdown clock on it, OK? Can you do this?

ROSA: No problem.

TURNER: All right. Ready to go, ready?

ROSA: Yeah.

TURNER: All right. Go!

ROSA: Wait, sit down. (inaudible) but I know you. I know I used to be home schooled. You never went to real school before. That`s interesting. You`re really pretty. Thank you. You think you`re pretty. My mom got it for me. It`s adorable. I`m from Africa. Hold on a second. The rest of the week. That`s it.

(LAUGHTER)

TURNER: I don`t know if you took a breath. I don`t know what you said, but that was brilliant.

HAMMER: I`m exhausted. Well, we have seen overnight sensations that grabbed headlines for their very unique talent, their celebrity connections and their wild caught on tape reactions. Only one can claim the top spot. Who`s going to be number one on our countdown of the people who we brought you this year? That became famous overnight? The big reveal is next. This is "SBT" on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

<23:53:00>

HAMMER: Well, now it`s the big reveal of our 15 minutes of fame, the countdown of the people that we brought to you this year who became famous overnight. This so cool, the eye popping video of a man cut in half walking side by side with his legs scaring the pants off of strangers.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Ah! (EXPLETIVE DELETED)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, my god. Hey, man. Britney!

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: That`s so not cool.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: This is really awesome. It is cool. Andy Gross is a professional magician comic and ventriloquist. I`ve watched this thing over and over again. Because well, it`s just so amazing and really funny. So, when Andy came to visit "SBT," of course, there`s one big burning question I had to ask. How does he do that?

ANDY GROSS, MAGICIAN: You can`t say. You don`t even want to know. I mean that takes the fun out of all of magic. You don`t want to know. I always- it`s like going to the ballet and wanting to trip the dancers.

HAMMER: Yeah.

GROSS: You don`t do that either.

HAMMER: Oh, OK. But can you give me something? Because honestly, man, I`m watching this and I consider myself technically savvy. I consider myself to be an insightful person. But I truly can`t figure it out. Is there anything without really revealing the whole deal to give us some insight?

GROSS: It`s me. It`s me doing it. And I`m one whole person. I mean you - I don`t even want to say much more than that other than, you know, it`s a great prank. It`s a great magic prank. An illusion and cutting someone in half has been around for a long time, but we just took it outside and got some great reaction. And it`s a lot of fun.

HAMMER: No, I`ve never seen done anything like this. Now, I`ll accept that. And I love it because I`ll continue to enjoy the illusion. And obviously, it`s gone crazy viral. Count me among the what - 4 million people that I noticed have seen this so far on YouTube. I mean how can you not watch this?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Oh.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Que passo? Que passo? Que passo?

(LAUGHTER)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Ah!

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Come on, Courtney!

<23:55:00>

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Ah!

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You`re so wrong, dude.

(EXPLETIVE DELETED)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yeah, I`m watching that part of the video, by the way, Andy. I was so just so happy she didn`t hit that tree, if you know what I`m saying.

GROSS: I know. That would not have been good.

HAMMER: No, what mostly happens when you do this to people? Do they mostly bolt like these guys are kind of doing here?

GROSS: You know, it varies. I mean some people get really scared. Because just think about it - if you`re sitting in a park and someone comes up and screams in your ear, you`re going to run away.

HAMMER: Yeah.

GROSS: Let alone if you look up and he`s cut in half. You know. So, a lot of people laugh, a lot of people just really laugh. But these are some great reactions of what people did, and how they reacted.

HAMMER: Although it`s funny to me that some people laugh at you. Maybe something was like seriously wrong with you. You know, that`s all I can say. But and before I let you go.

GROSS: Nobody helped.

HAMMER: Would you do the scream for me before I let you go?

GROSS: Ahhh!

HAMMER: There you go. I got something.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I still can`t figure it out. Well, thank you for watching the special edition of "SBT" "15 Minutes of Fame."
