[01:00:00] UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. Happy New Year. Memphis, Tennessee.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Happy New Year.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Happy New Year, 2016, y'all.

DON LEMON, CNN ANCHOR: Hey, Happy New Year.

BROOKE BALDWIN, CNN ANCHOR: Happy New Year, honey.

LEMON: I love being here with you as well. We have such a great crew at CNN. You guys at home have no idea. This has been a great year I think for a lot of folks. It's been a sad year for some people. And we remember those people and we keep them in our thoughts and prayers, but it's been a great year.

BALDWIN: Full of gratitude.

LEMON: Full of gratitude. It's been a great year for my family, a great year career wise, a great year for CNN. So what's not to love? And working with Brooke Baldwin.

BALDWIN: Happy New Year.

LEMON: Happy New Year.

BALDWIN: Happy, happy New Year. All the blessings to everyone watching at home. Thank you so much for being with us.

LEMON: We're not --

BALDWIN: Should we go back to Randi?

LEMON: No, I want to stay here. I'm going to be selfish. Let's go back to Randi.

Hey, Randi Kaye.

BALDWIN: Randi Kaye, Happy New Year.

RANDI KAYE, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Hey, guys, Happy New Year from Memphis. We are celebrating here. Once again, take a look at this sea of people. It is amazing. And at the call of midnight, everybody just started screaming. It was really something special here. We had all the fireworks went off, and the confetti came down, it was pretty amazing.

And the guitar that's supposed to drop at midnight is up there. Unfortunately we've had a little malfunction with it, I think. It's only coming about halfway down. So hopefully they'll be able to fix it. But the crowd is standing by celebrating. Just look.

Happy New Year. That's the scene on Beale Street here in Memphis. Quite a crowd. Still rocking out on stage. This is where the party is at for sure. Back to you guys.

LEMON: Oh, thank you. Do you like my hat?

BALDWIN: It's debatable.

LEMON: Every year, Brooke, that was -- no, no. That's a nice hat, though. Every year you steal my hat, and then I never see it again.

BALDWIN: True, true.

LEMON: True. Why don't you say hi to your family at home? I want to say hi, Mom, to my sisters, my nieces, my great nephews. I love them.

BALDWIN: My family, I have a new nephew.

LEMON: My (INAUDIBLE), yes.

BALDWIN: Baby Bridger, happy new year.

LEMON: Yes.

BALDWIN: So what are we doing later? Because our party just started.

LEMON: Well, remember last year, right? So Brooke and I left last year, and we couldn't walk two feet without people offering us drinks. So we ended up coming home at daylight, and we had a great time. That's all we'll say.

BALDWIN: All we'll say.

LEMON: The people of New Orleans were very good to us.

BALDWIN: Very kind.

LEMON: So we still have to ring in Mountain and --

BALDWIN: And all of our friends in California.

LEMON: And Pacific, yes.

BALDWIN: Absolutely. The party's going to keep rolling.

LEMON: Yes, it keeps rolling.

BALDWIN: Going to keep rolling, right?

LEMON: Yes. BALDWIN: Everyone at home. Keep rolling.

LEMON: You guys at home, make a resolution, but don't be too hard on yourself.

BALDWIN: No.

LEMON: And my resolution, I joked about getting older. My resolution is don't try to be perfect. Just be human and enjoy life and to be a little bit more compassionate.

BALDWIN: I want to be on my cell phone less and be present.

LEMON: Yes.

[01:05:02] BALDWIN: Be present more. I climbed a mountain this year, and I felt -- I've never felt more present.

LEMON: Yes.

BALDWIN: And I want to hold on to that.

LEMON: So happy new year at home. We're so happy you guys joined us.

BALDWIN: Happy new year.

LEMON: So continue joining us in 2016. Have a wonderful, wonderful and safe new year.

BALDWIN: Thank you, everyone.

LEMON: And healthy.

BALDWIN: Happy, happy.
