[20:00:00] ASHLEIGH BANFIELD, HLN HOST (voice-over): Calling all bounty hunters, this man just became worth your while. There`s a $100,000 price

tag on Markeith Loyd.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We`re asking anyone with information, please call.

BANFIELD: Whose alleged hail of gunfire killed a cop and sent another ducking for cover.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We have one officer shot en route to ORMC (ph).

BANFIELD: All after his pregnant ex-girlfriend was murdered.

Cage rage!

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: (INAUDIBLE) victory (INAUDIBLE)

BANFIELD: He`s known as War Machine to his fans.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You can`t teach tough.

BANFIELD: But he`s accused of taking on his tiny girlfriend, just 5-3 and 103 pounds.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I thought he was going to come and kill me.

BANFIELD: And this is how she ended up. Now a jury will decide if he`ll be caged for life.

An unthinkable crime, a mom selling her 10-year-old daughter for sex.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: What happened to this little girl is horrific.

BANFIELD: But the accusations are even worse, that she watched the rapes, drugged the girl and even enjoyed seeing her murdered. And it didn`t stop

there.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Absolutely no remorse on the mom`s part.

BANFIELD: Roadside mystery. How did a 50-pound dumbbell come sailing through the air and crashing through this windshield?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I couldn`t believe it. Shocked.

BANFIELD: It has authorities stumped and a victim clinging to life.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It`s a freak thing. It`s a shame.

BANFIELD: They bit the hand that fed them.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Great service, but I don`t tip black people.

BANFIELD: They like the waitress, but can`t get past their hate.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Shocker.

BANFIELD: She was mocked on line when her wheelchair broke down.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Only in Kansas City.

BANFIELD: The man behind the viral post, a local pastor.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I had no intent on making fun of nobody.

BANFIELD: And bundle up because this may leave you cold.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I was furious when I saw it.

BANFIELD: Busted for warming up his car in his own driveway.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Unattended car.

BANFIELD: And the cops say it`s the law.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I had no clue that was, like, a law or a, you know, ordinance.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

BANFIELD: Hello, everyone. I`m Ashleigh Banfield. This is PRIMETIME JUSTICE.

Hundreds of officers are on high alert tonight after a BOLO -- be on the lookout -- was issued for this man, believed to be armed and dangerous.

His name, Markeith Loyd. He`s been on the run for weeks, but just yesterday, he allegedly gunned down police Master Sergeant Debra Clayton at

an Orlando Wal-Mart. He also shot at a responding officer. Before that, he`s accused of killing a pregnant ex-girlfriend.

And if there`s one thing police want to make crystal clear to anyone who may have come in contact with him, he could be anywhere tonight, and you do

not want to come face to face with this guy. But if you do, they say you have got to make that call.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BARBARA BERGIN, CRIMELINE: It`s going to take one call. I don`t know where that call`s at. I don`t know when that call`s coming. I would tell

you, if you`re listening or watching us right now, you need to pick the phone up because no one else, no one else, whether it be law enforcement,

community members, family or anybody, should be hurt by this man, so we need to capture him.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

BANFIELD: Tonight, we`re learning that before he went on this alleged killing spree, Loyd allegedly posted this on Facebook. And I quote,

"Goals!! To be on "America`s Most Wanted" MF`s play with it."

We have this newly uncovered video of Markeith Loyd, as well, at a strip club before the murderous rampage began, and this was Facebook Live. Much

of it we can`t broadcast because of the language, although considering the source, perhaps not surprising.

Authorities have received hundreds and hundreds of tips now, and they have just upped the bounty on Markeith Loyd`s head to $100,000. If anybody can

help collar this guy, that money is yours.

CNN correspondent Ryan Young is at the Orlando crime scene at the Wal-Mart. You`re joining me now live from the Wal-Mart parking lot where Officer

Clayton was murdered so viciously, in such cold blood. They`ve been remembering her behind you. There`s been this candlelight vigil, and yet

there is still this emergency. How close are they to finding him?

RYAN YOUNG, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Well, that is a big question right now. And here at the candlelight vigil, so many people were telling the public,

Please come forward with any information so they can get this guy off the streets.

I want to show you this behind us. This is just breaking up. Family members actually arrived here and were speaking about Master Sergeant Debra

Clayton when they gave their heartfelt speech about how much she loved this community, and how hard she was working to get young people and the police

department connected together.

[20:05:06]So many times, we hear that in the community about there needing to be a bridge. And she wanted to start an organization called Bridge the

Gap, and she was never able to do it.

BANFIELD: Ryan, don`t go away. I`m going to ask you in a moment about Gofundme pages that unfortunately are fakes. Don`t go away. But first to

the emergency.

YOUNG: Yes.

BANFIELD: Tom Fuentes is with me. He`s a law enforcement analyst. He`s with me live from Washington. You know, Tom, I don`t understand how police

can say that it is safe for people to go about their business when just yesterday, schools were locked down for upwards of six hours. And he is

still on the loose. They thought he was in the area. Now they`re expanding the search out of state. How are we supposed to feel safe,

especially if you`re in that area?

TOM FUENTES, SR. CNN LAW ENFORCEMENT ANALYST: Well, the problem, Ashleigh, is that they can`t lock down the entire city and county forever until they

get this guy. So I think that`s the problem, is that for most of the people, they`re not going to be in danger, but the ones that are don`t know

if they are or not based on what his whereabouts are or who might be helping him in his escape plan.

So it`s a very difficult situation for the police to be looking for someone and may or may not be getting help from others to find him.

BANFIELD: Tom, he`s so incredibly brazen. We`ve seen the Facebook Live video from the strip club that was just hours before this latest -- you

know, this murderous spree began, a pregnant ex-girlfriend murdered in cold blood. Her brother, who came to her aid, also shot, injured.

I also want to show not only this video, but another Facebook post that he had. And I think it really gets us inside the head of this person who

everyone`s after right now. He wrote this, about being a street legend. He said, "Orlando, Florida, when you talk about street legends, mention me.

Y`all know what is real N word turned into a man with time. Love y`all." That was written on December 12th.

He`s been on the run, Tom, for several weeks now. And there is word from the local authorities they`ve been signing some warrants, and the warrants

are for those who may be aiding and abetting. That means they`ve got someone in mind. They know who they`re going for, and he might be with

those people, correct?

FUENTES: Oh, absolutely. In a typical fugitive case, you`re going to go immediately to friends, family and others who are going to be attempting to

support him. A person is not going to be able to stay out there on their own, especially because using a credit card or getting to an ATM machine or

any of those things will leave a digital footprint that can be tracked.

I think one of the things that will be his undoing, and is typical for someone that`s an extreme sociopath, is his level of narcissism. He loves

himself. He has no remorse. He wants to be famous. He wants everybody to know what he did and how terrible he is...

BANFIELD: Yes.

FUENTES: ... and relish his own fame. So I think in the long run, that will help get him caught.

BANFIELD: Well, while they`re trying to catch him -- Ryan Young, come back to me now with this story about the fake Gofundme pages. Have they been

able to track those people down and shut it down?

YOUNG: They`ve been able to track it down, shut it down. There`s an official page that they`re pushing everyone to right now. And obviously,

this community is coming together because you can see that reward now at $100,000. But the idea that people were setting up those fake Gofundme

page -- you could hear the pain in the chief`s voice when he brought that up today and had that shut down early.

Look at the community response behind us. You can tell people are focused on this, one of the commissioners here calling for a change in action

saying that, Look, things need to change in this community. The community needs to talk to police. Police need to talk to this community so they can

get this guy off the street. So you can see things kind of wrapping up in a different way than usual.

BANFIELD: Get this guy off the street. And as they continue to remember Officer Clayton behind you, I want to bring in former prosecutor David

Schwartz, defense attorney Heather Hansen, also defense attorney and CNN legal analyst Danny Cevallos.

Guys, I want to just read off a couple things from his rap sheet. Look, we`ve had bad actors before, but this one takes the cake. I can`t even

read them all. We`re going to scroll them while I go over some of the greatest hits, shall we say -- battery on a law enforcement officer,

resisting an officer with violence, resisting an officer, without violence, resisting an officer without violence, murder not prosecuted, robbery not

prosecuted, open carrying weapons, resisting an officer with violence. It goes on. There`s battery, as well.

This is a bad guy. So law enforcement has to know who they`re looking for and they have to react appropriately. David, is this the kind of thing

where they`re bringing out SWAT, they`re bringing out people who are in full body armor because they know that this guy has already been flying

(ph) off in a hail of bullets while trying to resist arrest?

DAVID SCHWARTZ, FORMER PROSECUTOR: Yes. Look, if there`s ever a candidate for the death penalty -- and I`m not a pro-death penalty advocate, but if

there`s ever a candidate, Loyd is the candidate for the death penalty. They`re going to find him. There`s an all-out search for him. They`re

going to find him, and I believe...

BANFIELD: But they`ve got to be so careful. He`s already taken down, allegedly, one of their own, shot at another one of their own.

SCHWARTZ: He`s dangerous.

BANFIELD: And a third officer who was in the search for him was killed in a traffic accident. So three fallen officers -- well, two officers fallen,

one, you know, injured. This is a dangerous person. They`re not just tracking anybody here.

[20:10:05]HEATHER HANSEN, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Absolutely. He has nothing to lose, Ashleigh. I mean, we know Florida is a death penalty state. We know

if he`s caught, he`s going to be charged with first-degree murder. And as you`ve said, he`s a narcissist who thinks that he is all that. You know,

all of that combined, he is going to be very dangerous.

BANFIELD: Danny, what about his friends? I mean, you`ve got to wonder -- you know, they`re looking for those aiding and abetting. They`re already

signing warrants looking for people. And my assumption is that they`ve got to be unbelievably careful with his friends, too, because if he is with

them, they may be just as dangerous.

DANNY CEVALLOS, CNN LEGAL ANALYST: Yes, suspects like this aren`t as hard to find as you might think because if they don`t have a lot of resources,

they have to go to either friends or family. The myth of moving to Mexico and starting life anew really isn`t that feasible if you only have $11 in

your pocket. But yes, you must even around family, whether it`s the 82- year-old grandmother, whoever, you got to be careful.

BANFIELD: Yes, $100,000 on the head of Markeith Loyd tonight. Orlando area, if you`re watching, call your local police, call 911 if you know

anything about him. If you are outside of Orlando, if you are outside of the borders of Florida, if you are in neighboring states, this is your

story. That is your jackpot if you can find this man and help to save others while doing so.

Stand by. Lots more stories to come. We`re following some breaking news out of Jackson township, Ohio, as well. Police there say a 5-year-old,

this little sweetheart, Ashley Ziao (ph), was found dead today inside the restaurant where she was last seen last night. They were looking for her.

But the investigators say they found her. It`s just that her body was concealed somehow inside that building. It is very mysterious.

So far, they`re not saying a lot, very few details on how she died or exactly where she was found. But little Ashley Ziao no longer missing.

She is dead.

An MMA fighter goes on a rampage outside of the cage. Does rape fantasy turn into a brutal and near lethal assault?

And a mother accused of selling her own daughter for sex on line not once, but several times. She had just turned 10. And believe it or not, this

story gets worse, a lot worse.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

[20:16:16]BANFIELD: An MMA fighter could face the fight of his life, to fight prison time, in fact, because he`s accused of committing an act of

ultra-violence outside of the fighting cage on his porn star model girlfriend. His name is War Machine. You may have heard of him. He`s

pretty famous. And he waged a real war, allegedly, on the body of Christy Mack. They`d been dating for over a year. Mack says that she had already

fallen in love by the time he started to be abusive.

But the day War Machine arrived at her Las Vegas home and found her with a male friend, War Machine beat the life out of Mack, allegedly,

hospitalizing her with broken ribs, a damaged liver, missing teeth and a lot more.

And I do want to warn you that the 911 call you`re about to hear is nothing short of chilling. It captures the terror that was going through this

woman`s mind as she was fighting for her life.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: John! John! Stop it. Stop it. John! John!

(END AUDIO CLIP)

BANFIELD: Now that this case is gearing up for trial, the question of a rape fantasy defense is beginning to enter the picture. A judge ruled at

pretrial that jurors will be allowed to hear testimony that the two often said to each other -- and I quote -- excuse me -- "real men rape." Mack

says this was a joke. She said it wasn`t truly something that she wanted. I beg your pardon. The defense wants the jurors to hear all about the

details of their sex life before he did this to her.

Heidi Harris is a host at KXMT in Las Vegas. Heidi, what happened here?

HEIDI HARRIS, KXMT (via telephone): Well, what happened is they had been dating about 15 months, and (INAUDIBLE) they had broken up. He went to her

house. He had a key to the house, but she said he wasn`t supposed to be there. He walks in. He finds her in bed with another guy. She says, Oh,

no, we`re just friends.

Of course, you can imagine what happened. He beat this guy within an inch of his life and threatened him, you know, not to call the cops when he

finally let him leave. And then he went after her, inflicting horrific injuries on her, including 18 broken bones just in her face, a fractured

rib, ruptured her liver. She had her eye sockets fractured, tons of bruises. I mean, it was just terrible what he did to her.

And at the end of this beating, he tried to use a knife on her that I guess was very dull and she said she could hear him in the kitchen rattling

around like he was looking for another knife, and she was finally able to escape the house only because of that.

And it sounds to me, based on everything I`ve seen and read and heard, that that`s what his plan was, ultimately to kill her. And a couple of years

ago in an interview they did together, he admitted that, that, you know, if she ever left him, he`d kill her. They were kind of joking about it. But

it`s not funny, obviously. And so now he`s facing trial.

BANFIELD: Heidi, there was some incredible testimony in court. Here she is on the stand.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I thought he was going to come and kill me because the other knife was broken. He sawed off my (INAUDIBLE) he would take the

knife, he would push it into my skin!

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I shudder to think about what would have happened if she had not escaped from the house at the time that he was downstairs

apparently retrieving knives.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

BANFIELD: As you can see, War Machine -- I keep calling him War Machine because he has legally changed his name to War Machine, and thus the court

documents have him listed as War Machine. A very awkward situation, obviously, as these tattoos might be, as well. Those have been considered

at times to be prejudicial for jurors to look at. One of the tattoos on the other side of his neck, I believe, is actually of her name. And there

were some questions asked, actually, of him about the tattoos.

[20:20:14]This is before much of this happened. This is in happier times when he was talking on a program, you know, that was all about MMA. It was

"MMA Hour." And the host was asking about that tattoo that Christy Mack had -- or that he had of Christy Mack`s name. And it was ironic how he

answered, given the situation they`re in now.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And if things don`t work out, God forbid, any reason, you can just say you`re a Mack, like you`re a Mack daddy.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes. (INAUDIBLE) what I would do is I would just kill her then I`d rest in peace.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: And it`s fair enough, really.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`ll put rest in peace, Mack. Like, this is a memorial to my dead girlfriend, they don`t know what happened to her, she`s dead.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: And honestly, I`d probably deserve it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

BANFIELD: It may be considered somewhat unfortunate to hear those words now, given that they`re in a courtroom. Brandon Sua is War Machine`s

attorney and he joins me from Los Angeles.

Brandon, thanks so much for being a guest on the show tonight. You`ll have to excuse me, I`ve been coughing through much of this program. I

apologize. I have a terrible cold. Sorry for that. But I do want to ask you some serious questions about this case.

This was a very unusual ruling from the judge today. She ruled that -- that your client can use this defense, that this couple had talked about

rape fantasies before. But I`m still not clear on how this is a defense when a young woman ended up with 18 broken bones, her nose broken in two

places, two missing teeth, a ruptured liver and the injury list goes on.

What part of all of those terrible injuries has anything to do with a rape fantasy?

BRANDON SUA, WAR MACHINE`S ATTORNEY: That`s a great question. I`m glad you asked. You got to remember here, there`s 34 felony counts. What we`re

discussing there, specifically in that last hearing, we were just addressing the sexual assault charges. So that hearing was only based on

that. That`s what we were addressing at that time.

We think with the judge allowing that ruling, I don`t think that it was unusual at all. I think the judge fully heard the testimony and had

decided that it was, in fact, relevant and that the jury should, in fact, hear it. We agree.

BANFIELD: OK, another question I have for you. I alluded to it earlier, but there`s this -- there is this personality that your client has. He`s

famous. His name is War Machine. His legal name is War Machine. He is adorned with tattoos that look quite menacing in the courtroom. And that`s

great for television. It`s great for his entertainment. It`s great for MMA. It is terrible when you`re sitting at defense table.

And I want to play this one piece of a promotional video from Bellator MMA, where he talks about his character, his personality, who he is, what`s in

his DNA. Have a look.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Well, you can`t teach tough.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Positioning War Machine wanted.

(CROSSTALK)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Victory in his Bellator debut!

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You know, being an alpha male is not something you can really work toward, you know, just a born thing. And when you buy a fight

dog or a fighting rooster, it`s all about the blood line.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

BANFIELD: So Brandon, how are you going to combat this image in that courtroom? Because you and I both know there`s the evidence, and then

there`s that gut feeling that jurors get. And the stuff I was just watching, it gives me chills.

SUA: Sure. Well, you know, the video that you just played, if you focus on what that video was, that was a Bellator promotional video. There`s no

fight that Bellator does, UFC, without promoting it, without hyping it up. It`s all part of the image.

This is his image, the War Machine image that has been built up. It`s the character that they have structured for him to play. You have to draw a

difference inside of the courtroom from War Machine to John Koppenhaver. You had mentioned earlier...

BANFIELD: I could do that, Brandon. I could do that, but your client has been laughing in the courtroom while the victim was on the stand. And the

judge even said, I saw you do that, I saw him laughing. That`s going to be hard when you`re looking for every edge you can get with a guy like this

and charges like those.

And may I just add, 34 counts of violence, including attempted murder -- this is an extraordinary case.

SUA: Sure. I understand what you`re saying in regards to the laughing. It was something impulsive. He was merely scoffing when he heard the lies

coming from Christy Mack in regards to the sexual assault charges. He was absolutely not laughing.

BANFIELD: Brandon, thanks for being on. I appreciate it. It`s not always easy with a case like this to go on television and defend your client. But

I appreciate the work you do, as all defense attorneys (INAUDIBLE)

SUE: Absolutely.

BANFIELD: Thank you, sir. Appreciate it.

SUA: Thank you.

BANFIELD: Unbearable to think about this, but it is all too real. A mother sells her 10-year-old girl for sex. It allegedly turns into a brutal rape.

And if you didn`t think it could get worse, it did.

[20:25:02]And the dragnet is widening in the Kim Kardashian jewelry robbery. Even the chauffeur now is being swept into it, and she has a lot

to say.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

BANFIELD: Just a day after her 10th birthday, Victoria Martens (ph) was raped, strangled, then dismembered. And it is sickening, but her mother

has admitted to being part of it, that she watched and that she enjoyed watching as her boyfriend did this to her own daughter at their home in

Albuquerque, New Mexico.

And if that were not enough, the mother and the boyfriend had sex right after that happens, all of this allegedly with the help of a cousin that

they allegedly tormented and raped and killed this little girl.

[20:30:03] She was reportedly sexually abused time and time again for six months leading up to her death.

The allegation here that the mom used to go online and try to prostitute her daughter on Craigslist`s to strange men because she enjoyed it. And now

the autopsy report is in and it lists strangulation as the cause of death for little Victoria Martens.

It also says that 10-year-old girl had an STD. An STD on a 10-year-old girl who just the day before was 9. How were the warning signs missed?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MONIQUE JACOBSON, CABINET SECRETARY, CHILDREN YOUTH AND FAMILIES DEPARTMENT: We didn`t have investigations that were of a sexual nature

with regards to this case. I do believe that any person who`s ever interacted with this child and this family is asking themselves how did we

miss that this mother was a monster?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

BANFIELD: I`ll bet. Police found Victoria the next day in a bathtub. Her body was in pieces. She was wrapped in a blanket that had been set on fire.

When police interviewed the mom, that mom gave three different accounts of what happened to her little Victoria.

First, she said she, herself, had been attacked by the boyfriend`s cousin and had no idea where that beautiful little girl was. Second, she said mom

left Victoria with that boyfriend and his cousin and that Victoria suffered an accidental meth overdose.

Third, she said she actually did watch as the boyfriend and the cousin gave meth to Victoria to calm her down before raping her. And then murdering

her. And then cutting her into pieces.

And that she, the mom, just stood there helpless until she actually said she stood there and enjoyed it. In fact, the words, "sit back," she was

sitting back and enjoying it.

Jessica Garate is a reporter with CNN affiliate KRQE and she joins me from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jessica, this is one of the stories where you read

the details and you think there must be some mistake. That could not have happened.

No mother would ever do this. No mother would do any part of it. Let alone, all of it. Let alone, all of it. And yet, a lot of this is coming from her

own mouth and the autopsy report is corroborating some but not all. So set me straight.

JESSICA GARATE, CNN AFFILIATE KRQE REPORTER: It has been just one of those -- I reported for 17 years and nothing has ever come close to this. It`s

heartbreaking. It`s heartbreaking for our city as we come to try to understand what happened.

I don`t know if we`ll ever understand exactly what happened. But with the autopsy report being released yesterday, you know, still there`s some

contradictions in what exactly happened.

The mother and the other two suspects had claimed that there was meth involved, they gave her meth to calm her down. There was no meth in her

system according to the autopsy. It does sound, though, that she had enough alcohol in her system that would have impaired judgment.

And it also showed that there was proof that she had been sexually assaulted in the past which corroborates what the mother told police saying

that she`d been searching online for men to have sex with her daughter. And that this had been going on for a while.

BANFIELD: And then the reports that there was an STD that this child was suffering from, and that doesn`t happen overnight. It can take months for

that to develop. This child had been assaulted at least at the age of 9, maybe even earlier.

You have spoken to this little girl`s grandparents and that would be the maternal grandparents, that the mother of Michelle Martens, this woman

who`s being affectionately referred to as a monster. What do the grandparents say about all of it?

GARATE: You know, they -- it took a while for them to talk. This happened in August. The only time they ever talked to me was in October and they are

just really -- they know that they get blamed a lot, how did you not see this? They`re very active in their children or grandchildren`s lives.

They`d pick them up from school. They talked to them hours before this murder and it was Victoria`s birthday and the grandfather tells me, you

know, she was excited, her mom had made cupcakes the day before to take to school. She shared them. Everything seemed normal to the grandparents.

And to the grandparents, you know, they`re in this really -- the situation where not only are they dealing with this horrific death of their

granddaughter, but they also -- it`s at the hands of their daughter.

(CROSSTALK)

BANFIELD: I get it.

GARATE: Allegedly. Yes.

BANFIELD: I get it. I`m a veteran in this business, too, my God, I can`t believe you and I are even having this conversation. But as grandparents,

did they -- did they indicate what they want to have happen to their daughter?

[20:35:08] GARATE: They say, if this is true, if this is -- that she deserves to be punished. That is their daughter and that it`s hard to

defend her, it`s hard to stand by her, but if any of -- if this -- what happened and that comes out, that she deserves to be punished and they want

to see all three of them punished if that`s what happened.

BANFIELD: Yes. Wow. And we just keep seeing these, you know, mugshots, you know, flashing -- go ahead. Go ahead, Jessica.

GARATE: Well, and one of those things when you`re looking at those mugshots, a lot of people are like how can you not tell? It looks like

she`s on drugs. You know, to them, they said there was absolutely just zero indication, they`d be over there late at night, she never -- they didn`t

know that he was living there. They`d be at the house. She hid it. They felt like she was living this double life, that she had just landed a job

and cleared drug tests.

And so, they just -- they had no indication that any of this was going on and as far as the children, never saying anything. They say the children

acted normal. They would ride their bikes. They played all the time. They spent Fourth of July six months earlier with them. Showed no indication.

They played all day. They were there the entire day, watched fireworks.

It was nothing out of the ordinary to them. And they feel that the children never said anything because they loved their mother so much. She was a

single mom. They described her as a hardworking mother and that they loved her so much they were afraid to say anything is all they can think of. I

mean, they don`t know, but that`s what they assume.

BANFIELD: Poor little thing. Jessica, I wish you luck, my friend, as you move forward in your community covering the rest of this story. We`ll keep

in touch.

GARATE: Thank you.

BANFIELD: Jessica Garate reporting live for us on that and we will update you on what happens to her and those other two.

A road trip turns into a highway to hell because of a dumbbell that came flying through the air. Problem is no one knows where it came from.

And a ticket for warming up your car in a deep freeze, even if it`s in your driveway. Oh, come on. Is that fair? The answer is, you bet you.

[20:40:00] (COMMERCIAL BREAK)

BANFIELD: Imagine this, one minute you`re driving down the highway about to start your vacation and the next minute a 50-pound dumbbell comes

crashing through your windshield and the injuries are serious.

That`s exactly what happened to an elderly man driving along the New Jersey turnpike in his SUV. It was Jack Decarlo behind that big hole in the

windshield in the driver`s seat, his wife, Patricia, was in the passenger seat. They were on a road trip to South Carolina.

And somehow a dumbbell came crashing through the window. He was hit in the head. He is in critical condition and his son is trying to figure this all

out.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JIM DECARLO, JACK DECARLO`S SON: Shocked. I couldn`t believe it. Shocked. So, you know, you never think something like that`s going to happen.

We don`t know somebody intentionally did it so, you know, it`s just a freak thing. It`s a shame. He`s still in critical condition and we won`t know

anymore until tomorrow.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

BANFIELD: So how did it happen? It is certainly a mystery. And to help us figure that out, Sergeant Jeff Flynn is the public information officer with

the New Jersey State Police, and he joins me from West Trenton, New Jersey. Sergeant, thanks so much for being with us. Are you any closer to figuring

out where that dumbbell came from?

JEFF FLYNN, NEW JERSEY STATE POLICE PIO: Well, we`re certainly working around the clock, you know, chasing the leads down, exploring all avenues.

Right now, what we`re really hoping for is a tip from the public, something that someone saw, maybe something that someone heard through the grapevine

that can point our detectives in the right direction.

BANFIELD: So, my question is, the first thing you would think of is that maybe it came from an overpass and it seems that the Decarlo`s had just

come through two overpasses. Very close together, in fact.

One, the overpass at Auburn Road, and as they were moving toward the left of the screen here, there was a second overpass called pointers Auburn

Road. Any of those show you any clues, maybe a break through those big high chain link fences that protect, you know, that the drivers below from

people who might throw things at them?

FLYNN: Well, that`s certainly something that our detectives are looking at among other things. You know, we don`t want to really pigeon hole ourselves

into one theory. It`s certainly a possibility that someone did this intentionally. We would hope nobody would do that. We are looking into

that. We`re looking into other possibilities that maybe this somehow fell off of a truck, which direction was it coming from.

So, there`s a lot of different things that we`re trying to explore but we are certainly looking at those overpasses. We`re checking the area cameras

to see if there`s anything -- any surveillance footage of the traffic cameras that monitor the highway. So, we`re really trying to, you know,

explore all avenues. We don`t want to just focus on one particular theory.

BANFIELD: Well, I tell you what, we put the tip line up for our viewers, 856-235-1937, 856-235-1937. Look, if you are out there, it`s 95, it`s New

Jersey turnpike. If you were anywhere near it, maybe you have a dash cam, maybe you have some kind of information that can help the good sergeant and

his team find out what happened here.

And our thanks to Sergeant Jeff Flynn for joining us. Hope they get that one solved. >

Police in Oklahoma City also need your help tonight to find someone they say tried to abduct a child and they got the pictures, too. The officers

say he tried to pick up a little 8-year-old boy and just walk away with him. It is just sort of bizarre to see it. Clear as day.

This is at a wrestling tournament for kids. Happened Friday night but that kid was great, he started kicking and screaming and I guess the man got

freaked out, put him down and took off. Police do say there is a chance that this man mistook the child for a child that he knew, but they

certainly do want to have a word with him.

[20:45:09] Former Secret Service officer who worked at the White House, hello, mugshot. He`s pleading guilty to attempting to send an obscene photo

to someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl.

The court records show this guy was Lee Robert Moore, that he had online sex chats with young girls, was busted in an undercover sting in Delaware.

According to those court documents, he was at work during some of these conversations. Did I say that he worked at the White House? You know, all

those guard stands where you check I.D., yes, that`s what he did.

So, he was at work while he was doing this. Works at the White House. He, by the way, is also facing child enticement and child pornography charges

in Florida. Better that he`s not at the White House right now.

Police in Paris are confirming that Kim Kardashian`s chauffeur is one of those 17 people that they`ve hauled-in in Paris because of that massive

jewelry robbery back in October.

You will remember that the thieves robbed Kardashian at her hotel room and she was at gunpoint. They took jewels and cash and all sorts of blingy

things worth about $10 million.

Just listen to how the family addressed this robbery in the trailer for, of course, the upcoming season of "Keeping up with the Kardashians" premiering

in March.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Kim Kardashian robbed at gunpoint.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: They`re going to shoot me in the back. There`s no way out.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We`re so close, we feel each other`s pain.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It makes me so upset to think about it.

KIM KARDASHIAN, ACTRESS: Don`t scare me, please. What`s going on?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

BANFIELD: March. I can`t wait. Sorry. I just love that show. I am from Winnipeg, it`s in Canada, 40 below, every single day, even in July. Just

kidding. But it is really cold there. And I did this all the time.

I`d warm up my car. Because that`s what we do, folks who live in the cold climates. And there`s a deep freeze across this country right now. And

guess what, it`s against the law in a lot of places and police have given a ticket to a man who warmed up his car in his own driveway. You think he

could get out of it? You better come back and listen to the answer.

[20:50:00] (COMMERCIAL BREAK)

BANFIELD: I just found out that Danny Cevallos is originally from Michigan, which is really important, as David Schwartz and Heather Hansen

join me as well.

(CROSSTALK)

CEVALLOS: That`s how you say where you`re from.

BANFIELD: Is that how I say it?

CEVALLOS: Yes, you point at your hand, because it looks like the state.

BANFIELD: You probably had a similar experience to me growing up. Super cold in the winter.

CEVALLOS: Cold. All the time.

BANFIELD: Icy seats in the car.

CEVALLOS: Hans solo in the carbonite. That was my life. Yes, that`s your life in Michigan.

BANFIELD: So, and not only here in the New York area, too, you start your car, you warm it up, right?

HANSEN: Right.

BANFIELD: Done it?

CEVALLOS: Absolutely.

BANFIELD: It turns out we`re guilty just like this very nice young man named Nick Taylor in Roseville, Michigan, who actually got ticketed when he

started his car and warmed it up in the driveway and then found this actually on the car when he came out. And couldn`t believe it. Have a

listen.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

NICK TAYLOR, TICKETED OUTSIDE HOME: Unattended car, I`ve done this every day for -- since I`ve been driving, like seven years ago. Like, come on,

now. Every person warms up their car. We live in Michigan.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

BANFIELD: So you think he could get out of it?

CEVALLOS: Here`s my thought. Here`s the thing. You`re not going to be able to challenge this law that it`s somehow unconstitutional because so many

states have these laws. But it strikes me as a bit of an invasion of enforcing the traffic code on private property stepping onto private

property to enforce the traffic code.

(CROSSTALK)

BANFIELD: A tough cookie.

HANSEN: But the thing is, there`s been enough robberies, car thefts in that area that it`s something they`re concerned about. But listen, good

policing would have been to knock on the door and say is that your car?

(CROSSTALK)

BANFIELD: Yes.

SCHWARTZ: They have some ridiculous local laws in this country. That is a scourge on our society. Some of these local village laws, town laws.

(CROSSTALK)

BANFIELD: I`m with Nick. I warmed up my car today to get my kid`s forgotten homework to school. So, I want to get on to this other video that

went viral and it was a pastor who posted it. So, you think it was something uplifting and lovely and soulful and it was not.

CEVALLOS: Not so fast.

HANSEN: Terrible.

BANFIELD: So, it was actually a video of this woman in a wheelchair whose wheelchair had broken down and she needed to be towed because it was

freezing cold outside and the pastor was actually saying, oh, only in Kansas City.

And he did something that a lot of people don`t do, he just owned it and said I never meant to mock this woman. I`m very sorry the video went crazy

like this. I think everyone should be praying. You know, he didn`t know that she was handicap, that she had these issues going on and her

wheelchair had broken down.

So, it was just one of those stories where he did something, it turned into something very unfair for this poor woman who was having such difficulties

and then he owned it. So, our props to being, you know, to being nice and actually saying sorry when you do something. OK.

Next one here. Kitty litter turns out it looks a lot like the kind of meth that is in "Breaking Bad." blue crystal like, you know? Because in Harris

County, Texas, this guy named Ross Lebeau was pulled over and he had big amount of kitty litter stuffed in a sock. You would think that it was meth.

HANSEN: Right. Absolutely.

BANFIELD: Or something thereof. What are those field tests like these days out there when they test what they find in a car just right out there on

the road?

CEVALLOS: They`re not perfect.

BANFIELD: They`re crappy.

CEVALLOS: They are not perfect.

BANFIELD: It led to -- it led to this. A mugshot for Ross. He may be smiling but he`s really mad because it was kitty litter. Did you know that

he`d say...

(CROSSTALK)

HANSEN: Why did he have kitty litter in a sock?

BANFIELD: Heather Hansen, what a good question. It was my first question, too. Why do you have kitty litter in a sock in your car, fellow?

(CROSSTALK)

[20:54:57] SCHWARTZ: This is where I keep -- he`ll have a nice lawsuit. Three days in jail, he`ll have a nice little lawsuit.

BANFIELD: Do you know what it is. It`s a dehumidifier, it`s a dehumidifier. And these cops said, this is another example of how this may

have kept our children and loved ones free from being introduced to drugs. Poor guy spent three days in jail. It was kitty litter. You`re right about

the lawsuit. OK.

Last one. Kelly Carter is my favorite person of the day. She`s a waitress. I was a waitress. I was a waitress for six years. She got a weird message

on her bill. She`s African-American and the message on the bottom of the bill said, "Great service, don`t tip black people."

And you know what Kelly Carter said? That`s fine. If they come back, I will serve them and there is this you caring site, it`s like Go Fund me and

she`s got the last laugh. It`s raised $3,200 and climbing. So that`s now her tip.

HANSEN: As it should. She should -- it`s ridiculous.

SCHWARTZ: She deserves it. You know, it`s unconscionable that type of behavior.

HANSEN: Her tolerance for that type of behavior is something we could all aspire to.

BANFIELD: The love has surrounded her. The haters don`t go back to the restaurant. I just wouldn`t be seen there. Thanks for being here, guys. I

appreciate it.

HANSEN: Thanks, Ashleigh.

BANFIELD: Thank you all for watching. We`ll see you back here tomorrow night, 8 o`clock at Primetime Justice. Stay tuned. Forensic Files starts

right now.
