BECKY ANDERSON, CNN HOST: I'm Becky Anderson in Abu Dhabi and you've just been with my colleagues in the States after we just heard from Breonna

Taylor's family and their attorneys in Louisville, Kentucky, following a Grand Jury's decision to not indict anyone for Taylor's death earlier this

year.

Taylor is the 26-year-old woman who was shot and killed by police when officers entered her house to serve a warrant. Attorney Benjamin Crump made

calls for attorneys - Kentucky's Attorney General to release the transcripts from the Grand Jury proceedings, and Taylor's aunt read a

statement on behalf of her sister, Breonna Taylor's mother, directly addressing the Attorney General saying in part, "I hope you never feel the

pain of your child being murdered 191 days in a row."

ANDERSON: An update now on the breaking news that we are following for you this hour. And from the States, we just heard from Breonna Taylor's family

and their attorneys in Louisville, Kentucky, following a Grand Jury's decision earlier this week to not indict anyone for Taylor's death earlier

this year.

Now, let me remind you, Taylor is the 26-year-old woman who was shot and killed by police when officers entered her house to serve a warrant.

Attorney Benjamin Crump made calls for Kentucky's Attorney General to release the transcripts from the Grand Jury proceedings.

And Taylor's aunt read a statement on behalf of her sister, Breonna Taylor's mother, directly addressing the Attorney General, saying, "I hope

you never feel the pain of your child being murdered 191 days in a row."

That number significant. It is that many days since Breonna Taylor was murdered. I want to bring in our White House Reporter Stephen Collinson at

this point. And your response to what we've just heard from the Attorney's or Breonna Taylor's family.

STEPHEN COLLINSON, CNN WHITE HOUSE REPORTER: Well, Becky, I think it really shows the depth of the anger that's permeated the black community and more

widely in the United States, following this Grand Jury decision.

These things are complicated legally, but this is not to be seen in isolation. It's the culmination of weeks and months of the greatest racial

reckoning and soul searching about police brutality towards the black community that we've seen since the civil rights era in the 1960s.

I think that's the context to look at this in, and, of course, we're in the middle of the most divisive U.S. election in many decades. so all of those

feelings that were bubbling out there, of course, intensely personal for the family members of Breonna Taylor and the lawyers involved in this case,

but they also fit into a much wider, cultural, racial and political maelstrom that's taking place at this moment.

ANDERSON: Meantime, 39 days until a presidential election by a president who is mounting a full-fledged assault it seems on the electoral process

that got him into the most powerful position in the world. And if you listen carefully telling everyone just how he plans to do it, Donald Trump

already warning he may not leave office peacefully if he loses.

Stephen, the Senate, Republican controlled of course, passed a resolution, committing themselves to the orderly transfer of power. I want our viewers

to have a listen to this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DONALD TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: The only way we're going to lose this election is if the election is rigged, remember that.

It will end up being a rigged election.

The democrats are trying to rig this election, because it's the only way they're going to win.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Further calamity in what is already a contentious election at this point?

COLLINSON: Right. I mean, this is extraordinary, of course, that a president wouldn't immediately guarantee to hand over power peacefully if

he loses the election. That's the golden threat, if you like, running through American democracy for around 250 years, going back to George

Washington, who made the handover of power the cornerstone of American politics.

You know, it's not a question of whether Donald Trump will not accept the election result. He's already tampering with the election with these false

claims, and they are false claims that Democrats are trying to rig the election.

He is waggling against mail-in balloting at a time of a pandemic. There is no evidence that mail-in balloting is prone to fraud. It's just as secure

as every other way of voting, so that's the question - we're seeing the president already interfering with this election.

ANDERSON: Stephen Collinson in the house. Stephen, it's a pleasure. Thank you and we will be right back.

ANDERSON: Well earlier, we witnessed the remarkable moment in American history. The late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg lying in state

at the U.S. capitol, the first woman in history to receive that honor, the first Jewish person ever to receive that honor. Listen as Opera Singer

Denyce Graves pays tribute to her friend, the icon the world came to know as simply RBG. We leave you with that as we say good night from us. "World

Sport" up next.
