A.J. HAMMER, HOST: Tonight, on the Top 10 countdown, the Jenner slit shocker. Kris and Bruce Jenner confirm they are separated. Why now? What does this mean for the Kardashian reality TV empire?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: (SCREAMING)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. Did a demon-possessed really wreak havoc inside a New York City coffee house? Tonight the people behind the devilish prank are right here, and they are going to reveal their scary secrets.

SBT starts right now.

Hello and thank you so much for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer and I`m so pleased to have my guest co-host tonight, Natasha Curry, who of course, hosts "WEEKEND EXPRESS" right here on HLN.

NATASHA CURRY, CO-HOST: Thank you.

Yes, well, it`s great to be with you tonight, and we`re bringing you our top ten countdown of today`s must-see, must-share stories.

Kicking it off at number 10. The biggest burning question that everyone was asking today about Kris and Bruce Jenner revealing that, yes, the rumors were true that they are now separated after 22 years of marriage and many years of us watching them live out their lives on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" on E!

HAMMER: Well, here`s the statement that they released to E! News. They said, "We are living separately, and we are much happier this way. But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends, and as always, our family will remain our number 1 priority."

Ken Baker is a senior correspondent with E! News in Hollywood. And Ken, I know you just went one-on-one with Kris Jenner on Sunday night. We have been hearing the rumblings about the marriage to Bruce being shaky for a long time now, even over a year. So Ken, to our first burning question: Why reveal now that they`re separating?

KEN BAKER, SENIOR CORRESPONDENT, E! NEWS: I think it just got to the point where they were living separate lives, and it`s becoming very apparent. But in the last few weeks, Kris was no longer wearing her wedding ring, and of course, that sets off red flags, not that that necessarily in Hollywood ever means that someone is separated or getting a divorce, because celebrities do weird things like taking off their wedding rings for cosmetic reasons.

But as this wore on and people got to see it and explored it a bit more, and these two, they don`t really live secret lives. I mean, their lives are documented on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." And they`re, in fact, shooting it right now in the middle of all this drama.

So I think it just got to the point, though, where they were like, "Look, we`re living like this; we are separated. Let`s just reveal it publicly so we can just keep moving on with our lives."

HAMMER: OK. And you know, so much of what they do and what we see them do in their lives is so, so calculated. I`m not surprised by the statement at all and the way it came out. And I know you spoke with Kris on E! News about her daughter, Khloe`s marriage troubles and the pressures of it all playing out in the spotlight. I`m wondering if that has anything to do with her announcement, but let`s watch part of that interview with you.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BAKER: What`s the key to handling the scandal?

KRIS JENNER, REALITY TV STAR: I think you have to live in the moment when you hear something is going on. And I get cranky and go, "Oh, not again. That`s so stupid."

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes, I mean, she`s developed a terrific attitude about handling these things. But watching Kris there opening up about Khloe, is it so farfetched to think that the timing of this sudden announcement, Ken, could somehow be possibly a way to deflect attention from Khloe`s marriage problems?

BAKER: No. I don`t think so. I think that would be overthinking it. Look, Bruce, it`s been widely reported that he moved into house in Malibu some 15 or 20 miles from the family home out in Hidden Hills, California. And that happened back in the spring, March or April. And so this has been something that has been happening for a while. This is a dynamic in the relationship that has evolved. And I think it took them this long to get to the point where they were thinking, "Well, this is seeming permanent now, and we need to reveal it publicly."

I think you`re talking about two separate things that are happening. Don`t forget: If you want to sit here and list all the dramas in the lives of the Kardashians, there`s more than just Khloe and Lamar. There`s a lot going on to these guys. Kim just had her baby. Of course, Kanye West is now part of the family. He`s always in the picture, making news. So there`s always plenty of drama to go around.

HAMMER: And you mentioned Bruce moving back into his own house back in the spring, and that`s something that played out on the show. But we`re also learning today that this actual idea of the separation has been in place for about a year now. And there were early signs of trouble playing out right on this reality show. We saw Bruce first attempting this kind of short separation at Khloe`s home, and he just told Khloe why he needed a change.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KHLOE KARDASHIAN, REALITY TV STAR: Bruce, why aren`t you going to dinner at Mom`s? Since the whole family is going.

BRUCE JENNER, OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST: Well, I`ve been here, what, two days now. I can`t remember. It`s been a long time.

KARDASHIAN: You just love it here?

B. JENNER: And nobody`s called. Nobody. To be honest with you, nobody really cares if I`m there or not.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Pretty emotional Bruce there.

I want to bring in Alex McCord. Alex is a former reality star from the "Real Housewives of New York" and correspondent for "The Stir."

So Alex, do you think that there`s anything unusual about the timing of this announcement? A lot of people are wondering why now. I think Ken had some pretty great ideas about that.

ALEX MCCORD, CORRESPONDENT, "THE STIR": Well, I -- I hate to disagree with Ken, but I agree with you, A.J. Having been a reality star myself, there is nothing not calculated about the timing of this, because you are shooting a show, but at the same time you`re also living in the moment with everything documented.

And I think that nobody expected that the split between Khloe and Lamar would be this painful. You see it coming out on Twitter. I think that she as a mom and as a calculating "momager" fell on her sword. They could have released this at any time. They could have waited till later. They could have done it sooner during her talk show. I think that it was their ace in the hole, knowing that when the S-H-I-T hits the fan, put this out there to deflect.

HAMMER: Well, Ken, you know, obviously, you disagree with that. You were just telling me that you think that`s overthinking it. But let`s be fair: There is nothing that the Kardashians don`t overthink or think well out before they put it out there into the universe.

BAKER: Well, something you have to realize is Khloe and Lamar actually in the last 24 hours have been together. We just got information that Khloe and Lamar have been together and actually went to see Kris out at her house. And so this idea that, because of a split between Khloe and Lamar, look it: we`re not sure exactly what the status is. I would say right now the status of Khloe and Lamar is probably best described as complicated. So I wouldn`t go making any assumptions that the Kris and Bruce split has anything to do with what`s going on with Khloe and Lamar. It just -- it just doesn`t fit with all the reporting and information that we have here in this newsroom.

HAMMER: OK. But at the end of the day, everything really does come back to the great Kardashian brand and what`s going to happen with all that. We wonder through what`s going on with Khloe and Lamar and now we wonder how it could possibly be affected with Kris and Bruce, you know, splitting up the foundation of the family. At least that foundation, not the reality foundation, is crumbling.

Which brings us to our next burning question tonight: Could this eventually destroy the Kardashian empire? Let me go back to you on that, Ken.

BAKER: Well, if you look at the history of this family, it`s pretty much - - and you showed that clip of my interview with Kris from just a few days ago. I was like how do you deal with all this scandal? Because guess what: It seems like it`s nothing but scandal with them. And if you look at the public interest and fascination with them, it pretty much seems to increase with the more scandal there is. Whether it`s a marriage disintegrating or it`s some -- it just -- It just seems that there`s no end to the fascination people have.

HAMMER: And when you look at the fail rate of marriages that have been through reality TV, I`ve got to throw this last burning question at you, Alex. Would it just be better for everybody if they would just turn the cameras off?

MCCORD: Well, better for what? Better for ratings? I mean, the ratings are still solid. Better for everyone`s marriage? Well, you know, I mean, the divorce rate for reality show marriages is sky high. So if they keep going, the ratings might be great, but they might sacrifice a few more marriages.

HAMMER: Yes. It really comes down to what`s really important, I guess.

All right, Ken, Alex, thank you both so much.

Natasha, what do you think? Should they shut the cameras off? I mean, it does work for reality TV the more drama you have.

CURRY: That`s true.

HAMMER: And certainly, people aren`t just going to tune in to see Kim, you know, going purse shopping on Rodeo Drive.

CURRY: Well, I might. You know, for Khloe and Lamar, I say absolutely yes. For Kris and Bruce, I mean, you know, they say they`re happy. And, you know, I`m happy for them. So I think they`ll be fine either way.

HAMMER: At what point do you cut your losses?

All right. Our countdown is about to take a frightening turn tonight.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You just ruined all my stuff.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Get some napkins; clean it up. It will be fine.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Fine? There`s coffee inside of my computer. You know what? Just get away from me.

(SCREAMING)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: A coffee shop sets the scene for a horror flick come to life, and it`s, quite frankly, awesome. A woman reminds us a lot of the movie "Carrie" as she scares the bees wax out of people.

Well, tonight I am so happy to have the masterminds behind this stunning prank right here. How did they pull it off? Their secrets are still ahead.

Plus, Miley Cyrus fans are lashing out. But are they really making death threats against another singer for slamming Miley? Where does the Miley madness land on today`s Top Ten countdown?

This is SBT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to our Top Ten Countdown. And tonight we are now at number 9 with Jay-Z and Beyonce`s love on top.

CURRY: Oh, yes, A.J. "Vanity Fair" just released its annual list of the most powerful movers and shakers. And wouldn`t you know it: Jay-Z and Beyonce are topping that list at number 1. Quite a jump, considering they were, what, in eighth place last year.

Beyonce`s unforgettable Super Bowl halftime performance and Jay-Z`s latest platinum-breaking album are believed to have been a part in -- part of the reasons to push them to number 1 there.

And A.J., right behind Beyonce and Jay-Z is New York`s mayor, Michael Bloomberg, at number 2.

HAMMER: Really?

CURRY: So they`re kind of -- it`s kind of funny that -- I don`t know -- Beyonce and Jay-Z are more powerful than the mayor of New York. But as you know, you know, it`s the president and Oprah. So...

HAMMER: I`m still pretty sure that Mayor Bloomberg, the billionaire, has more money than Jay-Z.

All right. That brings up to number 8 on tonight`s Top Ten Countdown: breaking Batman news about Ben Affleck.

As you know, there was big-time backlash when it was first announced that Ben would be starring as Batman in "Superman versus Batman." Well, director Kevin Smith directed Ben in awesome movies like "Chasing Amy" and "Clerks." And Kevin is with us tonight from Hollywood. An all-new season of Kevin`s great AMC reality series, "Comic Book Men," is set to return for its third season on Sunday night.

It is great to see you, Kevin.

KEVIN SMITH, FILMMAKER: Excellent to be here, sir. How are you?

HAMMER: I`m terrific. And listen, Kevin, you`ve heard the naysayers, Kevin, claiming Ben isn`t right to play Batman, but you, my friend, you saw something in this guy a long time ago. You put Ben in "Mall Rats" and "Dogma" and "Chasing Amy." I have always said I`ve got no problem with Ben as Batman. It is kind of an inspired choice, isn`t it?

SMITH: Yes. I mean, for me it`s a great choice. This is a dude who I dug and put in a lot of movies and stuff. Now he`s a big movie maker himself. He doesn`t need to be put into movies if he doesn`t want to.

And that`s the weird thing. It`s like you would imagine he doesn`t need to be in a movie like this. He did (UNINTELLIGIBLE). But he`s doing it. He`s doing "Batman." I think that`s phenomenal.

For me as a big Ben Affleck fan, that`s awesome. But I suspect it`s got a personal edge to it. He`s got kids now and how often is it to tell your kids, like, "I`m Batman" and, like, mean it.

Like, I tell my kid, "I`m Fatman."

And she`s like, "I know."

So he`ll be able to, like, tell his kids, "I`m Batman."

They`re like, "Yay."

HAMMER: That`s like icing on the cake in taking the role. And I love the fact that you guys take it on, this whole issue of Ben and Batman, on "Comic Book Men." Let`s watch that.

SMITH: All right.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SMITH: The moment they announced Ben Affleck as Batman, my face had a Joker-like rictus grin. It was like, "My God, I know Batman. I put Batman in movies." He`s played a villain in movies for me. If this has happening in the mid-`90s, when I was thick as thieves with Affleck, I`d be the Penguin. I`d get Mews cast as the Riddler, Jay as the Riddler.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We could be P.A.`s.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: So again, we agree this is a good deal having Ben in this movie, but why do you think everybody is still so bent out of shape over it?

SMITH: Or Ben out of shape, if you will. No pun intended. I honestly -- you know, it`s the Internet. People like to complain. As was the case with this story, they fervently tore at it for a few days, and then Miley Cyrus did her twerking at the VMA Awards and people stopped talking about Ben as Batman for a little while.

We`ve got a year and change before we even -- they start shooting that movie. So longer than that before we start seeing footage. And I honestly -- again, I worked with the dude a bunch. So obviously, I believe in him as an actor. I`ve said many times, Affleck could play anything. If they do a remake of "Jaws," he could actually play the shark, as well.

HAMMER: He could.

SMITH: So he`ll crush Batman. And also, like since when does it take Shakespearean chops to play Batman? Like to play Bruce Wayne, you know, that actually requires a bit of performance. You have to be debonair, whatnot. Once you put on the rubber mask of Batman, it`s not like you`re emoting "to be or not to be." It`s mostly just, "I`m going to punch you, Joker." And the dialogue is real simple. And people like them to just stop acting and just start throwing punches.

So at the end of the day, I don`t know why there are some people on the Internet who are just, like, "This requires the acting chops and gravitas of our greatest actors, not a Ben Affleck." I could play Batman, for heaven`s sakes, when it comes down to it. You`ll just see a lot of skin coming out under the cowl, like I was the "Clueless" girl.

HAMMER: I think it`s great. I appreciate you always calling it like you see it, Kevin. It`s always great to have you, and thanks again.

SMITH: Thanks for having me, sir. Good seeing you.

HAMMER: Absolutely.

And again, you can see an all-new season of Kevin`s "Comic Book Men" beginning this Sunday on AMC.

And we move from comic book secrets to the secrets of cheating tonight. The man behind the top Web site for cheaters is revealing the stunning truth behind celebrity cheating scandals. You`ve got to hear his surprising revelations. That`s coming up.

And so is this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SNOOP LION, RAPPER (RAPPING): One, two. Stop counting sheep. Move your feet to the beat. I bet you`re wondering, "Who are you?" The maker who made you has...

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: What the heck is going on here? I guess Hot Pockets is getting even hotter. Kate Upton`s strange collaboration with Snoop becoming a monster hit online. You don`t want to miss this.

This is SBT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Our Top Ten Countdown continues now with number 7: super model Kate Upton and Snoop Dogg joining forces for what I think is some pretty brilliant marketing, Natasha.

CURRY: A.J., I`m crazy about this. And it`s all about Hot Pockets, and even Larry King makes an appearance.

HAMMER: Good. Well, it was everywhere online today. We actually get to see Kate enjoying a Hot Pocket after a night of partying only to fall asleep dreaming about Snoop, who plays a Hot Pocket baker.

You`ve got to look at this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LION (RAPPING): Want to make with me, come on in. We like taste buds.

I have a buttery season so hip it drips. Taste so good got to make the mix. Smell my savory garlic, but don`t disturb the garden that I grow makes a fantastical herb.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You -- you got what I eat.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Of course, he`s rapping about the herbs he grows in his garden. Hey, Natasha, who would have thought eating a Hot Pocket could be sexy, but you put Kate Upton in it and it`s sexy.

CURRY: How many do I have to eat to look like her? I`m ready. Feed me.

All right. Let`s get on now to number 6 on our countdown. Would you buy a car from Ron Burgundy? Come on. Will Ferrell`s hilarious anchorman character is now a pitchman for Dodge, and his new ads are really catching fire online. Here`s CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SBT.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

JEANNE MOOS, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): Would you buy a new car from this guy?

WILL FERRELL, COMEDIAN: But I`m the only one with the guts to tell you about the glove box.

MOOS: Ron Burgundy has left his anchor desk for the Dodge showroom, where he`s proudly pitching the Durango`s glove box?

FERRELL: This thing goes on for inches. It comes standard.

MOOS: Will Ferrell`s not-so-standard SUV ads are a two-fer, promoting both the Durango and Ferrell`s next movie, "Anchorman 2."

FERRELL: Is that your foot between my legs?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: No.

FERRELL: It was my hand.

MOOS: You`ve got to hand it to Ron: He shot over 70 Durango videos, most for the Web, some for TV. They`re getting a lot of miles per gallon out of these spots.

FERRELL: Twenty-five em puh guhs highway. What? Em puh juh. Em-fuh-ga.

MOOS: Hey, everyone knows he says whatever you write on a teleprompter.

FERRELL: I`m Ron Burgundy?

FRED WILLARD, ACTOR: Damn it. Who typed a question mark on the teleprompter?

FERRELL: Twenty-five em puh guhs. Im-puh-guhs. I`m saying it right, but it just doesn`t sound familiar.

MOOS: But will these ads make Americans more familiar with Durangos? Dodge sells less than a third as many Durangos as Ford sells Explorers.

(on camera): Wait a minute. Ron Burgundy didn`t drive a Durango in "Anchorman."

(voice-over): He threw a burrito out of his gold Pontiac Catalina. And the Durango wasn`t around at the time the movie was set, back in the `70s.

FERRELL: On my right is the new Dodge Durango with up to 360 horsepower. On my left is one horse with one horsepower. That makes you feel pretty dumb, doesn`t it?

MOOS: Chrysler says you`re seeing Will Ferrell`s improvisational genius at work.

FERRELL: Look at you. You`re worthless.

There you have it.

MOOS: And he ad-libbed as the horse gazed at him.

FERRELL: Staring contest. Go. I win.

MOOS: Chrysler`s chief marketing officer told "The Detroit Free Press": "Some of these lines in the commercials are so incredibly memorable that my hope is that they become part of the `Anchorman` culture." So instead of this...

FERRELL: You stay classy, San Diego.

MOOS: ... maybe we`ll all be running around saying.

FERRELL: It comes standard.

Look at you. You`re worthless.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

CURRY: Kind of feel bad for the horse. That was hilarious. Will Ferrell is always so funny.

HAMMER: Brilliant marketing. You know, they`re talking about the truck. We`re talking about "Anchorman." Everybody wins. And you`re still classy, Natasha Curry. So stay classy, won`t you?

CURRY: Thank you.

HAMMER: Now, Miley mania may have actually gotten out of control for real this time. Miley Cyrus fans are lashing out, but are they really making death threats against another singer for slamming Miley?

Curse of the Kardashians? Well, first it was Kim`s marriage mess, and Khloe and Lamar apparently hit a rough patch. Now their mom, Kris, splits from Bruce Jenner. Is reality TV to blame for their troubles? This is SBT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Right now our Top Ten Countdown continues. The Kardashian marriage curse. Are the married Kardashian women doomed to divorce? Well, we are digging deep to find out the truth.

Plus, the secrets behind the most viral prank ever.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You just ruined all of my stuff.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Get some napkins; clean it up. It will be fine.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Fine? There`s coffee inside of my computer. You know what? Just get away from me.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: So how did this telekinetic masterpiece manage to leave an entire coffee shop screaming in terror?

Well, the guys that pulled off the "Carrie" prank are right here. They`re going to reveal how it went down. SBT continues right now. Welcome back. Thank you for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer along with Natasha Curry. We`re counting down the top ten must see stories of the day.

We`re up to number 5, the Kardashian marriage curse.

CURRY: Yes, AJ, Kris and Bruce Jenner are now confirming what many of us have been expecting to hear, that they have separated after 22 years of marriage. Some of us are asking, AJ, if there`s maybe some sort of a Kardashian curse.

HAMMER: Take a look at this. On the left side you have married with problems. Kris and Bruce Jenner, followed by Khloe and Lamar. On the right, not married, no problem. Kim with Kanye followed by Kourtney and Scott Visic (ph).

CURRY: What`s wrong with that?

HAMMER: Kourtney and Scott have two kids together. They`ve been together for seven years. We have seen so much of their lives play out on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" on E!. Ken Baker is senior correspondent for E! News. He`s in Hollywood tonight, and Ken, we`re still unclear what the fate will be ultimately for Khloe and Lamar, but it`s pretty clear that the Kardashian women do better in love when they`re not married.

KEN BAKER: That might be true, but it might be true for a lot of us. I`m glad you pointed out that we have about a 50 percent success rate. We have two relationships that are on the rocks and two that seem to be the opposite of on the rocks. They`re doing really well. The last I checked in America, 50 percent of all marriages end up in divorce. So maybe the Kardashians just reflect America, and they are truly America`s modern family. Not the other one on ABC.

HAMMER: That`s a great way of spinning that as we extrapolate the numbers and find that they line up with the 50 percent divorce rate in America.

Now, let me bring in somebody who we have certainly seen live out her life on a reality show, there she is, Alex McCord, the star of the Real Housewives of New York. She`s a correspondent for theStir.com. Alex, do you think that the Kardashian women do better in love when they`re not married?

ALEX MCCORD, FORMER REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW YORK CAST MEMBER: It`s hard to say. Ken`s right about the 50/50 thing. What makes it tough for any relationship is when you`re on reality TV, because every little thing you do, every raised eyebrow, every phone call is scrutinized and edited and devoured by everybody on Twitter. And with that type of pressure, I think it might be easier to let little things get blown out of proportion, and maybe then that snowballs and becomes a big problem.

Regarding whether they`re actually married or not, maybe they feel like they can walk away. I don`t know. I certainly hope that things go well, but the longer anybody is on TV, the more that could possibly happen with your relationship.

HAMMER: There`s no question about that. We have seen it for years and years playing out. Somebody who is not at all surprised by Kris and Bruce splitting up is Kris`s close friend Kathy Lee Gifford. Kathy Lee revealed this morning on the Today Show" that knew Kris and Bruce had been living apart for a while. Watch what she said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KATHY LEE GIFFORD: Last time I was at Kris`s house, if you walk through her house in every different room of the house, somebody was meeting with somebody about a new deal. If it`s always about the deals and she does want to strike while the iron is hot, if it`s always about a deal going on and you can`t find your husband in your house or your wife in your house or your kids because there`s so much going on, it`s just gotten out of control.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Just kind of out of control. Bruce and Kris splitting, Khloe and Lamar struggling. And really, we can`t not take into account Kim`s disastrous marriage to Kris Humphreys, which might throw the math off a little for you, Ken Baker, but Alex, let me ask you, is there a Kardashian marriage curse or is it all just some coincidence or just part of America?

MCCORD: I don`t think it`s a coincidence because there`s that reality TV thing going on. I think that`s what the curse is. I think they will be lucky to get out of reality TV with their marriages intact, and if they do, that`s a testament to their commitment to one another.

HAMMER: I`m happy that they are happy if they are happy, and they claim they are happy. So good for them. Ken, Alex, thank you both so much.

MCCORD: Thanks.

CURRY: And that brings us to number 4. on our top 10 countdown, the burning question, what are the secrets behind celebrity cheating? The reports of stars supposedly cheating on their spouses are coming fast and furious these days. Why is it that stars kind of seem to have a really hard time being faithful? Noah Bederman can help us answer that. He`s the CEO and founder of the website, ashleymadison.com, where cheaters meet every single day. Noah is with us today from Hollywood. Thanks for being with us. First, let`s start by busting the biggest myths about cheating. Really, this one, the first one here applies to everyone watching tonight, not just to celebs. Is it really mostly men who are cheating, Noah?

NOAH BEDERMAN, ASHLEYMADISON.COM: Not anymore. The Internet has become a great evening of a playing field. I just launched Ashley Madison in Japan. I was over there, the story that`s ruling over there is the famous pop star in Japan was caught in bed with another man by her husband. This is also the dominion of women now, clearly.

CURRY: Yes. And for all my girlfriends whose husbands were cheating on them, they seem to know he was up to no good. Like they just knew it. Is that usually the case where the women know it? Sometimes my male friends have no clue.

BEDERMAN: What I like to say when people ask me, you know, I`ve been doing this, I`m trying to figure out if my partner is cheating. If they`re already trying to figure it out, it`s because they know something is wrong.

CURRY: I guess it`s always smart to listen to your gut. Trust your instinct.

The latest revolution about possibly cheating has to do with Kathie Lee Gifford`s husband Frank, who has had his own scandal in the past. There`s a new report out he had an affair before he and Kathy Lee were together, with Johnny Carson`s ex-wife. Kathy Lee just set the record straight. Let`s listen.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GIFFORD: I got in the car. Frank was still asleep. And so he called and I said hello. He said, you believe this? I said tell me. Tell me, it was a long time ago, tell me, did you have an affair with her? He goes, I can`t remember. Maybe.

It`s not true. That particular one. Although the man is capable of it, as you know.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

CURRY: She has a great sense of humor about it there, but you heard her say that the man is capable of this, are you shocked she`s being so frank so to say, or do you think she`s onto something here?

BEDERMAN: Maybe not. I`m asked all the time, is it nature or nurture going on here? Why do celebrities cheat more often than everybody else? I think first of all, to become famous, you have to be a risk taker, so in your personal life it`s not any wonder you are also going to take some risks. Also then, fame breeds a lot of infidelity. Having fans, the stress, being under the microscope. Throw in a professional athlete as a husband, it`s almost bound to happen. The couples that can survive, all the power to them.

CURRY: You have all the hot groupies throwing themselves at you, too. But I mean, you hear how it`s so hard, like you said, to keep a marriage together in Hollywood. Are they everyday people and that`s why we`re hearing about it so much? (inaudible) famous, or they really cheat more?

BEDERMAN: I think they cheat more. I think if you`re going to be a risk taker in life, you`re going to be a risk taker when it comes to your personal life, and so I think that`s part of it. You are already going to be down a path of taking this risk. Secondly, temptation. We all think we can resist temptation, but when it surrounds us all the time, you`ll see when it comes to food or love, we`re really bad at resisting, so people in famous positions are just faced with it more often than others.

CURRY: Noah, thanks so much.

AJ, I know people, it`s probably all the hot people running around Hollywood, they can`t resist. I`m more a person for food, (inaudible).

HAMMER: You can cheat with food, as you know. But Noah makes a great point. Temptations abound in Hollywood, which is one of the reasons we may see cheating happen more, have this perception it happens more.

Also, there is a lot of opportunity. These stars are out traveling all the time with their beautiful co-stars. We hear of so much romance on the set developing, and then of course there`s just ego. Anybody with a massive ego might think, I can do this, I can do that. We`ve seen it with politicians, we`ve seen it with the business kingpins. So it`s really not surprising we see it play out so much in Hollywood.

CURRY: Make a good point.

HAMMER: As our top 10 countdown continues tonight, we have a terrifying good reveal you do not want to miss.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

And Miley Cyrus`s feud with Sinead O`Connor is getting ugly. Are Miley fans really telling Sinead to kill herself? Which must-share story is going to top our countdown tonight? And wait until you see what we`ve named as our moment of awesomeness. This is SBT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Now on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Geico`s 15 minutes of fame. Welcome back to our top ten countdown. And tonight we`re down to number 3. And we are now bringing you the untold story behind perhaps the best telekinetic freakout of all time. This video of what happened in a New York City coffee shop is going crazy viral. It appears to be a real life scene right out of the movie "Carrie." I`m so pleased we have the guys who pulled off this incredible prank, James Percelay and Michael Krivicka, who are the founders of ThinkModo. They put together this elaborate masterpiece. It was all to help promote the remake of "Carrie" that`s about to hit theaters. And they scared the heck out of everyone here. Guys, I`m thrilled you are here. You`re rock stars in my book.

And I really love what you pulled off here. Truly amazing. In fact, I have got to watch some more now.

(VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I know it`s a prank and I`m still scared of her. I`m a pretty thick skinned New Yorker, guys, but, James, you know New Yorkers aren`t shy at all. Were you worried at all somebody might have reacted by actually trying to get involved and attack your telekinetic star there?

JAMES PERCELAY, THINKMODO: Actually, New Yorkers are so darn cool that we were worried about the opposite, that they were going to deny the fact that they were scared as heck. And we even beat that cool.

HAMMER: I was going to say, if you didn`t get the reactions that you did, obviously, that would not have worked for all of the effort you put into this thing.

PERCELAY: Fear of the unknown is what we were going for this time. New Yorkers are control freaks. We showed them something that was totally out of their control.

HAMMER: And you promise me the reactions were real? Those weren`t actors?

PERCELAY: Absolutely.

HAMMER: Michael, can you tell us some of the secrets behind how you set this thing up? Because I need to set up my house and really trick it out for Halloween. I need some gadgetry.

MICHAEL KRIVICKA, THINKMODO: You`ll need a lot of people for this. We used a number of crews to set up the stunt, to set up the hidden cameras in the control room, in the kitchen downstairs, to set up all the props, and the trickiest thing was the timing. We had to orchestrate it so everything works just at the right time, and unfolds the way you see it unfold in the video. So it was a complicated thing.

HAMMER: I`m sure HLN will let me borrow one of the crews here. You had the spring-loaded books, and of course you had the remote controlled tables. It really seemed that some of the people that we saw in the coffee shop were so terrified to the point of panic. There was that one woman who was recording it, because that`s a New Yorker`s instinct, and she backed out. But did you at any point had to let the cat out of the bag to anybody while the prank was unfolding, maybe to calm them down?

PERCELAY: Luckily when you`re in a coffee shop and people are holding hot coffee, there`s that potential. But nobody freaked out to the point we had to yell cut. Afterwards we all applauded and showed them they were in a safe environment, and they loved the fact they were in on something this cool.

HAMMER: Everybody who has seen this is applauding you. What an amazing thing to have pulled off. And good for the movie "Carrie." Everyone is going to run out and see it now. James and Michael, thank you so much.

We`re down to number 2 in our top ten countdown tonight. Do not move because the big reveal is coming up.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: All right. Just two more to go in our top 10 countdown tonight, and the big reveal of our number 1 is a moment away.

CURRY: I can`t wait for it. But first, number 2, we learned today that Taylor Swift has set an amazing record. This has absolutely nothing to do with any of her ex-boyfriends either, AJ. And we know she`s just 23, but Taylor has already had 14 songs in the top 30. Pretty impressive. And now the National Songwriters Association International has just revealed it`s going to honor her with her songwriter of the year award. This is a huge deal, because this is the sixth time that Taylor will get that award, and that`s an all-time record in itself. Taylor had been tied with Vince Gill and Alan Jackson. An amazing feat for her.

HAMMER: It`s time now for the big reveal on tonight`s top ten countdown on our must see, must share stories of the day. At number 1, the Miley movement gets really ugly. The feud between Miley Cyrus and Sinead O`Connor could be dangerous. Listen to this, Sinead just revealed Miley`s fans are actually urging her to commit suicide. All this started with Sinead`s open letter to Miley telling she doesn`t need to sell her music by using her sex appeal. But now, things really seem to be spinning out of control. Alex McCord is here. She`s a former Real Housewives of New York cast member and correspondent for TheStir.com. Alex, Sinead just wrote her fourth open letter to Miley. It`s a whole lot of letters, and this one was huge, 30 paragraphs in all. She claimed in the letter that Miley`s fans are tormenting her. I obviously can`t read the whole thing. But this really stuck out to me. I`ve had numerous communications from people urging me to commit suicide. Not to mention I`ve been subject to literally thousands of abusive articles which state that I and therefore all perceived mentally ill people should be bullied and be invalidated. Alex, I find this so disturbing.

MCCORD: It is. You know one of the biggest things here is the generation difference. Because when Sinead was ripping up photos of the pope and going on "Saturday Night Live" and causing her own controversy, we didn`t have social media. We didn`t have Facebook and Twitter. And she didn`t have that experience of fans jumping on her and attacking her. In 2013, everyone is two clicks away. I think she`s really feeling it. I think that the haters are really getting to her. And it`s horrible what they are doing.

HAMMER: What I`d like to see is Miley use that power of social media to quiet things down, but it looks like she`s not really helping things come to an end at all. She was on the Today Show with Matt Lauer, and she actually seemed to take another swipe at Sinead. She called Sinead`s letters to her crazy.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MILEY CYRUS: I don`t know how someone can start a fight with somebody that is saying, hey, I really respect you and I really love what you did.

You know what, you suck. And I don`t like you, but that was kind of crazy, but as I said I`m a big fan of hers. It doesn`t really matter.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Does not really matter is what Miley is saying there, but let`s not forget, she compared Sinead to Amanda Bynes, and Amanda we know is suffering from a serious mental illness. Do you think, Alex, Sinead really does have a point when she says Miley is being totally out of line here?

MCCORD: I do. I do. I think she`s being 20 and stupid. I think she has no idea that what she is saying now, again thanks to the power of the Internet, is going to be around when she`s 80 and when her children can see it. I think she needs to take a step back and she has to realize that yes, she is making music, she`s causing controversy and controversy sells, but controversy will also haunt you for the rest of your life. And it`s important to be nice to people.

HAMMER: Selling and hurting don`t have to go hand in hand.

MCCORD: Absolutely.

HAMMER: And the real irony here is that Sinead claims she was just trying to help Miley take control of her career, take control of her talent. Really playing the mama bear role here. Now she finds herself in this battle with a 21-year-old girl and actually threatening legal action. Do you think it`s time for Sinead to just let this go and simmer down and die down on its own there?

MCCORD: I would love it if both of them would just take a step back. It would be nice if Miley would say sorry, but I don`t think that will happen. It would be nice if Sinead would realize this backfired and back away slowly. I don`t think that is going to happen either. I`m scared about what`s going to happen next.

HAMMER: Hopefully it won`t be anything bad. I appreciate you chiming in on this, Alex, and Natasha, what I really think should happen here is Miley and Sinead should get together and maybe do a performance together and bring some attention to the big huge problem of mental illness and the misperceptions about it.

CURRY: I think that`s a great idea. I didn`t think about that. And Miley, she, it`s like Alex said, it`s her age. She`s young. It worked for her, shock value. Maybe she is just spouting off and saying what she thinks.

HAMMER: Whatever comes to her mind. Well, we can`t stop talking about Miley tonight. Oh, no.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: She just stripped down again. Thankfully this time it was her voice that was stripped down. Miley is going a cappella with The Roots. This is actually a truly infectious version of "We Can`t Stop." Miley, thankfully leaving the twerking behind for tonight`s moment of awesomeness. It`s coming up. This is SBT on HLN.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Time for our moment of awesomeness. And tonight we just can`t stop. Talking about Miley Cyrus.

CURRY: A.J., she just dropped an amazing a cappella version of her hit, "Just Can`t Stop" with the Roots and Jimmy Fallon. And this is the best part here. They did it Brady Bunch style. In all those little boxes they are singing to us? This is seriously infectious. I dare you not to groove to it, AJ, watch.

(MUSIC)

CURRY: AJ, I love this song, stuck in my head. That`s brilliant.

HAMMER: I think it is terrific. And this proves my point that I`ve been making all along. This is what I want to see from Miley Cyrus. It`s her talent. She can sing. Nice job to her and The Roots.

Thank you so much for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Natasha Curry. You can catch SBT every Monday through Thursday, 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific. HLN continues right now.
