THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED. JOIE CHEN, CNN ANCHOR: Late news happening now, and information just coming in to CNN: just in the last three minutes or so we have heard from Congressman Gary Condit's office that a statement on paper will be released from his office in Modesto, California, that's the seat of his 18th District out there in California.
Of course, we have been following up more on the investigation into Chandra Levy's disappearance and questions about a possibility that she had some sort of a relationship with Congressman Condit. We've also reported earlier in the day that Congressman Condit's wife Carolyn has been interviewed today by FBI and local police out in Washington.
But at this hour, we are hearing that just about 45 minutes from now we should expect a statement from Congressman Condit's California office. CNN's Rusty Dornin is in Modesto and will bring us the details on that when it does come into CNN.
