Tanker Truck Accident Shuts Down Dan Ryan Expressway

LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: Now we want to bring you some breaking news that we're just getting word of in Chicago. A tanker trunk accident apparently has shut down the Dan Ryan Expressway. You're looking here at some live pictures we're getting from our affiliate, WBBM. And I can see there it looks like the hazmat folks are there on the scene hosing things down. From what I understand, moments ago there was a -- or at least earlier this hour there was a large cloud of some white vapor that was emanating from this truck and it's hanging now over the area at 47th Street on Chicago's South Side there on the freeway.

This also happens to be near a Chicago Transit Authority rail station and the CTA shut down the train service in the area. It looks like they've got the scene pretty much under control. We don't see that vapor right now in this picture from WBBN. But as you can see, the highway, the Dan Ryan Expressway, is shut down on both sides. So it's going to be a mess there in Chicago...
