THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED. CAROL LIN, CNN ANCHOR: You heard it right here on CNN just 10 minutes ago, a no-go for Steve Fossett. He has to discontinue his round-the-world flight of his solo balloon flight. There a live picture, very disappointed flight directors and weather forecasters and volunteers in St. Louis at Washington University. They decided that Steve Fossett did not have enough energy, enough fuel, enough food or even oxygen to make it through two to three days of stormy weather over the Atlantic.
He is going to spend the next two to three hours focusing on a - on a very tricky balloon landing somewhere in Brazil and that is going to be the focus now. They are just simply saying, at this point, they are staring reality square in the face. Steve Fossett will simply have to settle for his record of having the longest solo balloon flight in history and perhaps he may try again for a sixth time.
