Three Die in Helicopter Crash

DONNA KELLEY, CNN ANCHOR: We're going to bring you up to date right now with some pictures -- you're looking at pictures near Livingston, Montana. In fact, I was just out around this area and was watching these fires.
And now we have deaths to report to you, unfortunately, this afternoon. A helicopter has crashed in Montana this morning, killing all three people on the helicopter. The chopper was assigned to the Fridley fire, it's called, and it's burned about 25,000 acres there. It crashed at 9:30 this morning in the Emigrant Peak area between Livingston and Yellowstone National Park.
the leasing company who had the helicopter in Portland, Oregon confirmed that it is one of its helicopters, and they are trying to contact the families of the crew who were there trying to fight this wildfire. The helicopter able to carry 1,100 gallons of water. And they are trying to contact the family now.
It's been hot and dry and windy out there, and those fires were coming up over the mountains. So once again, three people have died trying to fight this wildfire -- the Fridley fire in Montana. Three people dead aboard a helicopter.
