JUDY WOODRUFF, CNN ANCHOR: Here in the United States, a breaking story -- I've just been handed a report to CNN.

Police in Philadelphia said today they found a suitcase containing the plastic explosive C-4. The suitcase was inside a locker at the Greyhound bus station in Philadelphia.

The bomb squad in the city removed the suitcase, took it to police headquarters and authorities say it is no longer a threat. They go on to say that the amount of explosives was about the size of a bar of soap -- this according to a police spokesman.

He said -- quoting, I'm quoting now -- "It could take out the terminal," so enough to do considerable damage and cause considerable casualties.

Again, a suitcase found in a locker at the bus station in Philadelphia containing the plastic explosive C-4. It has been taken to headquarters and is no longer a threat.
