THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED. PAULA ZAHN, CNN ANCHOR: I wanted to quickly bring you up to date on what we are learning about that scare that President Clinton and his staff members had about three weeks ago; and we're just learning about it this morning.
Apparently a package arrived at his Harlem offices, an aide opened it inside. He found vials of a certain substance. Those vials are now currently being tested; but whatever was inside of them, according to John King and whoever talked to him from President Clinton's office, there was something inside them that caused this salmonella bacteria.
President Clinton, we are told, didn't get anywhere near this letter. It was, in fact, the aide that opened it. But the folks that John King has spoken with this morning are saying they do not believe that this has anything to do with the anthrax scare we are currently enduring.
Once again, this particular package arrived in former President Clinton's Harlem office just about three weeks ago.
